(Poll below)
Jack logged out from his Therapy Game and he couldn't be happier. Tiny Can did a very good job. Though, he'll have to have a word with Tiny Can and the goats about that BL content. But maybe he's supposed to start a romance with Lou to forget about Kiyoshi?
Tumblr media
Saiwa is so happy that Jack didn't feel the pain from his rash ingame :3 So it seems that the feelings from ingame do not effect their life here (like Vlad's ingame hunger) and the feelings and sensations from out of the game won't necessarily affect their characters ingame. Poor Vlad is torn. He's happy that Jack's therapy went so much better than his own playtest, but he's afraid to send Ji Ho in the game. What if he really is going to marry Caleb? But he can't be selfish. Ji Ho deserves his therapy. And if it helps Ji Ho, he will survive it too.
Tumblr media
Jack: "So Sai, my friend. When will you go to your therapy?" Sai: "Uhm..." Saiwa is hesistant. He's their leader and should have been the first to check the Therapy Game and if it's safe for the others, but he's not ready yet to face his problems. And that's fine. The door to change can only be opened from the inside. (This quote is written on the wall at the front desk of my psychiatrist. Another one says 'Change needs time'.)
Tumblr media
Jack: "I'm just kidding. I bet no one can stop Ji Ho from checking out now if he's really Caleb's bride! Right, Ji Ho?" Ji Ho laughs a bit nervous: "A haha, yes. Can't wait." Of course Ji Ho can't wait. Caleb is the dream of each of them (well, except Vlad's). But he also knows this will hurt Vlad.
Tumblr media
Vlad has to leave to care for Jeb and Kiyoshi. They quickly charge the Bond and Vlad tries to let Ji Ho know through the Bond that he's ok with whatever happens in the Therapy Game. But he's not even fooling Diablo...
Tumblr media
Ji Ho is torn. Is it really ok to hurt Vlad's feelings when it's necessary for his therapy and well being?
Tumblr media
Ji Ho asked Jack and Sai what they would do. Jack thought about it too. But he does not have a partner right now so he's up for it should Lou hit on him. Saiwa agrees that Ji Ho should go for it. It's just a game after all and NPC Caleb is not the real Caleb. Nothing is real in the Therapy Game.
Tumblr media
Jack: "So, it would be ok for you if Jeb had a boyfriend ingame?" Saiwa hisses and Jack realized that he went to far. Jack: "This isn't as easy a decision as it seems, huh."
Tumblr media
It's time to go to bed. They are tired but Jack is still happily chatting about the game and they are glad it went so well for him. And even though they saw some scenes on the screen, they listen. It wasn't possible to watch everything anyway. Jack had been away for a few hours and they took turns to watch over him. And it's interesting to hear how it had been for Jack and how he experienced his Therapy Game.
Tumblr media
If Ji Ho's therapy goes well too, Saiwa will try it. One day they will have to return back home to the others and he'd better be prepared to face Kiyoshi and Jeb again. He misses Jeb so much it hurts. But he has no idea how they are supposed to get over this fake realtionship he had with Kiyoshi. Even though they both agreed to it because they had no choice.

'May the ghosts that howled round the house at night Never keep you from your sleep May they all sleep tight down in hell tonight Or wherever they may be
As I walked on with a heavy heart then a stone danced on the tide And the song went on though the lights were gone And the North wind gently sighed
And an evening breeze coming from the East That kissed the riverside So I pray now child that you sleep tonight when you hear this lullaby
May the wind that blows from haunted graves never bring you misery May the angels bright watch you tonight And keep you while you sleep'
Lullaby of London - The Pogues (Such a beautiful song. Shane McGowan, the head of the Pogues, died November last year but he left us all his beautiful music. He was so gifted.)

Gurlll. What if another big royal comes up to ghost and says basically ‘how much for ur queen’ … basically wanting to buy her off of ghost ? And he says she’s not for sale but he says “everything has a price”. Maybe he’s been stalking her and tells ghost that he knows her schedule and what she likes.
After that graves chapter I need more DRAMA and more borderline feral and protective ghost
oomph the dramaaa (also don’t mind me making up random ass characters and random ass places for this hahahaahaha)
warnings: time-period typical misogyny, stalking, man being a creep, physical violence
A new trade deal was being signed today, and a big one at that. You had been informed that an entourage of court members from a neighboring kingdom would be staying in Kastron during the duration of the final deal talks and signage.
The arrival of King Valerian of Malcenite and his high-ranking entourage had been a spectacle you had greeted with the utmost politeness and grace. Simon had stressed the importance of the trade deal for Kastron, and you had been on your best behavior throughout their stay, despite a nagging sense that something was amiss. The trade deal was signed multiple days ago, much to everyone’s relief. Yet, for some odd reason, they’ve shown no signs of packing up to leave, even after already being in Kastron for over a week.
“It’s been a week, and the trade deal has already been signed, what more do they want from us?” you whisper to Simon with a furrowed brow. “Their presence is starting to become…overbearing.”
He nods in agreement. Simon’s eyes reflect the same unease that gripped you. “I know, love. It’s rather odd…They’ve never given me reason to doubt them.”
“We should find out what Valerian wants, Si. I mean, it’s really bothering me—”
Simon placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder, interrupting your words. “You should get some rest. Let me deal with Valerian, dove.”
Your heart ached with concern, but you knew Simon was right. The weight of your responsibilities of the week had taken its toll, and you were exhausted.
“Please,” he urges you.
With a reluctant nod, you allow him to take charge of the situation.
“Fine…but let me know if you need me for moral support. You know how I can get during arguments,” you say playfully, giving him a peck on the cheek.
“I know all too well, love.”
As you retreat to your chambers, the unease that had settled over the palace refused to dissipate. As you slipped into bed, thoughts of King Valerian’s ominous intentions gnawed at your mind, but you trusted in Simon's abilities to handle the matter.
As Simon shut the doors to your chambers, he signaled for two guards to stand watch at the door. With that, he moved swiftly to find King Valerian.
. . .
Ghost had found Valerian out in the gardens. The moonless sky felt oppressive, the air thick with tension.
King Ghost faced King Valerian with an air of authority that matched his regal presence. Valerian's calculating eyes bore into Simon's, their unspoken conflict echoing within the stone walls. He wore a cloak of arrogance, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling confidence.
“King Valerian,” Ghost began, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of authority, "we appreciate your visit and the successful trade agreement we've reached. However, I must ask about the purpose of your extended stay in Kastron.”
Valerian's lips curled into a sly smile, his fingers grazing over a bush of flowers. Your favorite flowers. “Your concern is touching, King Ghost. I assure you, my presence is simply a desire to further strengthen the bonds between our kingdoms.”
Simon's gaze remained unwavering, his suspicion growing by the second. “Forgive me, but your continued stay has raised questions among my advisors and my wife. We find it unusual.”
Valerian leaned forward, picking a flower from the bush, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial tone. “Very well, King Ghost, I shall be forthright with you. The trade deal, as successful as it was, was not the only reason for my visit. There is something else I desire from Kastron.”
Simon's brow furrowed, his patience wearing thin. “And what might that be?”
Valerian's eyes glittered with a dangerous intent. “Your queen. I have watched her closely during my time here, and I have become enamored with her grace and beauty. Not to mention her fiery personality. It’s not quite fit for a woman, but I can always fix that. I believe she deserves better, far beyond what you can offer.”
Simon feels like his heart has stopped beating. “Excuse me?” he replied with icy resolve, no longer worried about offending Valerian.
Valerian chuckles darkly, bringing the flower up to his nose. “The queen. How much for her?”
Simon's fingers curled into fists at his side, his voice firm and resolute. “My wife is not a thing. She is not for sale. How fucking dare you.”
Simon's chest heaved with the effort of restraining his fury, and his clenched fists trembled with the pent-up anger he held within. He approaches Valerian angrily, sizing him up with a deathly glare.
Valerian's smile faded, replaced by a cold, calculating stare. “Everything has a price, even loyalty.”
“I know her schedule, her preferences,” Valerian continues, emphasizing the flower in his hand. Your favorite. “I've followed her every move. All you need to do is name your price.”
In a flash, Simon unleashed his anger in a single, powerful blow. With a swift and precise motion, he delivered a sucker punch straight to Valerian's face. The blow sent the arrogant man stumbling backward, crashing into the nearby garden wall.
“Get the fuck out of my home. Deal is off. Never fuckin’ show your face here again, disgusting bastard.”
Valerian, nursing his bruised face, was forcibly escorted back into the palace by Ghost.
“You know I can do much, much, worse than a single punch. Don’t fuckin’ cross me. Don’t fuckin’ come near my wife and I ever again.”
Ghost showed no mercy, manhandling Valerian in front of the palace guards, who looked on with a mix of shock and confusion.
Simon shoves Valerian forward harshly into the hands of a couple of guards.
“Take this bastard out of my sight. I want him gone. Now. He’s unwelcome in Kastron.”
. . .
Inside the palace, Valerian's actions had been made known. Rumors always spread like wildfires throughout the palace staff, and none were willing to lift a finger to help him pack. Simon had made it clear that Valerian was not to set foot in the palace again, and the guards at the gate had orders to keep him out at all costs.
“I do not want the queen to find out about this blatant disrespect from palace rumors. Go about your work.”
. . .
Simon’s fury began to subside, replaced by a deep concern for you. He knew he needed to speak with you about the incident before the palace gossip reached your ears.
Simon quickly made his way to your shared private chambers, where you were engrossed in some needlepoint. Knocking softly on the door, he entered to find you hunched over in your sitting chair, your brow furrowed in concentration. You had recently taken an interest in learning needlepoint, taking time to practice simple designs in your spare time. You look up for a moment, but go back to focusing on your work. You do a double take when you notice the worry in his expression.
“What’s wrong?” you inquire, your voice gentle but tinged with concern.
Simon sighed deeply and closed the door behind him, anger still coursing through him. “I…I have some…unsettling news, darling.”
You immediately perk up, setting your needlepoint aside, focusing your attention on Simon.
“Go on,” you say, worry building up in your chest.
As he recounted his encounter with Valerian, your expression shifted from curiosity to a mix of pure anger and disbelief. You stood up with a start, face pinched with hostility. You grab Simon’s dominant hand, the one he had punched Valerian with, and inspected his knuckles. Bruised. You drop his hand and look at him.
“How dare he,” your voice trembles with indignation, your eyes blazing with determination.
Your fingers clenched into fists, mirroring the wrath that had overtaken you. “I will not tolerate this impertinence,” you declare, your voice resolute. “To think that he would even entertain the notion of buying me like, like some piece of property. He will fucking rue the day he ever uttered those words.”
And with that, you swiftly make your way towards the double doors, throwing the doors open with a resounding slam.
Simon watched in silence as you threw the doors open. Who was he to stop his angry wife? No, he would see this out. He knew that you were not one to be trifled with, especially when it came to matters of respect and dignity.
The palace corridors echoed your footsteps as you strode with purpose, and Simon hurried to catch up to you. He also was not about to let you be alone with Valerian.
“Darling—”
You didn’t pause or slow down as Simon called after you. Your determination to confront Valerian had taken hold of you, and you were not about to let this insult go unanswered. Simon quickly follows behind you, slightly nervous to see how this would pan out.
You turn to a palace guard standing alongside a wall. “Where is he?”
“Th– the parlor room, your majesty, he’s about to leave—”
In a flash, you change directions, marching towards the parlor room where Valerian was currently being kept under guard. As you approached the doors to the parlor room, you could hear the hushed whispers and see the curious glances of the palace attendants. Two guards stood in front of the doors.
“Step aside, please,” you command, hands coming to rest on your hips.
The guards look at you for a moment, then at Simon standing behind you menacingly.
“Your majesty, he is dangerous—”
“I wasn’t asking.”
They look at you, then step aside, pushing the door open for you. You practically stomp inside the room, anger rolling off you in waves. Valerian, who had been sitting alone in a corner, looked up with a mixture of surprise and unease as you entered the room. The air grew tense with anticipation as you faced him, your eyes flashing with anger.
“You!” you declared, your voice carrying the weight of authority. “How dare you insult us?”
Simon raises his eyebrows at your forwardness, but chooses to stay silent, crossing his arms over his chest. Valerian eyes Simon wearily before facing you. Despite being confronted by your fury, he couldn't resist the urge to maintain his arrogance. He rose from his seat slowly, deliberately. You don’t back away.
“Insult you?” he retorted. “Oh, my dear queen, it was merely a business proposition. I thought perhaps you might appreciate the opportunity to upgrade from this provincial life.”
Simon immediately takes a few steps forward, anger seeping back into his bones. He couldn’t bear to see him speak to you in such a way. But, ever steadfast, you persevere. Your fists clenched at his ignorance, and your anger surged anew. Simon watched with growing amusement, knowing that Valerian's arrogance was pushing you to your limit.
“How deluded you must be,” Valerian continued, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “To think Ghost could satisfy your desires with his meager offerings.”
The room seemed to vibrate with tension as you struggled to contain your rage. Your eyes locked onto Valerian’s, and in a flash, you lashed out. Your fist connected with his jaw with a satisfying thud. Nowhere near close to Simon’s force, but it was yours.
“Yeah, thought a weak woman such as myself wouldn’t retaliate?”
Valerian's smirk vanished as he held his aching jaw, shock overtaking his features. The room fell into stunned silence, the guards wide-eyed at the unexpected turn of events. Simon suppressed a smirk, he couldn't help but feel a surge of pride for you, who had defended not only her own honor but also his own. Fuckin’ hell.
You march up to Valerian and grab his ear, yanking him down to your level. “My husband has been nothing but kind to me. Your suggestions of him being incompetent and a monster is far from the truth. He is one of the most loyal and honorable people I know. You’ll never be a third of the man Simon is. And I'm not a piece of meat for you to enjoy, you sick freak.” You let go of his ear. “Stay away from me. Stay away from my husband.”
And with that, you turn out of the room. Simon stands there, gives Valerian a once over, then turns out of the room in silence.
Simon turns to a couple of guards. “It’s time for him to leave. Remove him from Kastron.”
With a bow, the guards turn to forcibly escort Valerian out of Kastron, forever.
As Simon turned, he caught a glimpse of your gown turn the corner back to your chambers. He follows behind you once more, practically running to catch up to you.
“Darling, slow down–” he calls out, and you stop in your tracks, turning to face him. “He’s gone now—”
You stand there, your chest heaving as you fight back the tears that threaten to spill from your eyes. The adrenaline from your confrontation still courses through your veins. It was a distressing experience, but you know you did what was necessary to protect your honor and your marriage.
Simon reaches you, his concern deepening as he takes in your flushed face and labored breathing. He gently places his hands on your shoulders, his eyes filled with worry. “Dove, are you all right? That was a brave thing you did back there…”
Your lower lip quivers for a brief moment, and you summon every ounce of your strength to hold back the tears threatening to spill. Crying in front of Simon is something you've never done before, and you're uncertain about how he would respond.
Simon notices the struggle within you, his eyes fill with empathy. He gently reaches out, his fingers softly brushing away a stray tear that escapes down your cheek. His touch is warm and reassuring, and he leans in to plant a tender kiss on your forehead.
“I– I’m fine, just frustrated, is all…I couldn’t stand by and let him insult us.”
Simon’s expression softens as you move to hug him, pressing your wet cheeks into his chest. His strong arms wrap around you, offering comfort. “You're the strongest person I know,” he murmurs into your ear. “I'm so proud to have you as my wife.”
You hold onto Simon tightly, taking comfort in his strength. “I love you,” you whisper, feeling a sense of security in his arms.
. . .
Simon held you close that night, his arms wrapped protectively around you as you both lay in the comfort of your bed. The events of the day had taken an emotional toll on you, and you found solace in his warm embrace.
Pressed against his chest, your head rested on his shoulder, and his fingers traced soothing patterns on your back. In the silence, broken only by the gentle rustle of bedsheets and soft breathing, you felt the weight of the world slowly lifting off your shoulders. The words you'd spoken to Valerian, the confrontation, and the emotional release afterward—all of it seemed like a distant memory now.
Simon’s heartbeat, steady and reassuring, echoed in your ear, lulling you into a peaceful sleep. Wrapped in his arms, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you had a partner who would always stand by your side.

prince!ghost and lord in waiting!soap
ghost is a warrior prince, next in line after king price and it’s always been accepted he would be the lone ruler; never one for entertaining the courts or indulging foreign rulers trying to consolidate their power. he hardly acts like a prince at all, in name only when he spends more time as a pseudo captain of the guard. price has never begrudged him that, not when he himself has been a lone king since his inauguration
though he’s a warrior prince, he’s never lost the favour of the people; many see him as a guardian even if he doesn’t interact with the people as much as benevolent and stalwart king price. who he does interact with is the kingdom’s children; always ready to bend a knee and listen to bright voices, to praise stick swords and shields or hear the plight of a struggling family. it was a common belief that if he wasn’t out protecting, then he was with the protected; face covered, blonde curls shining in the sun
soap’s always loved ghost. as his lord in waiting, it’s been his job to attend him since they were young and even as a child, he’d idolised him; his skills in battle, his surety. he thought his life would be nothing but service, clothing a brat prince and making sure his shoes shined. but ghost has proven more than that; he treats him as an equal, consults him on strategy and court politics and over time that idolisation turned into love
and ghost has always felt the same. he’d begrudged the idea of a lord in waiting, not wanting someone always in his business but then came this spitfire who never missed an opportunity to push back on him; to make him dig deeper. johnny is more than some mere servant; he’s his confidant, his best friend, his… everything. he could be simon with him, not prince ghost
but simon figures that out too late
king price gets word from king shepherd, a kingdom they’ve only recently stopped feuding with and he’s offering up his son, prince graves, as a way to bond their kingdoms together and firmly put war behind them. price is ready to deny him, he doesn’t fear war from shepherd, when he sends some ancient laws that leave him unable to refuse. he hates it, hates that he’s ruining ghost’s happiness and feels like he’s betraying his adopted son but there’s nothing he can do
graves comes to their kingdom within the month and it’s clear from the moment he walks through their gates that he’s the opposite of ghost; arrogant and conceited, his ceremonial armour glossy and untouched by battle. he’s dismissive of their servants, of their ways, of their people and ghost hates him
graves insists that the wedding happen as soon as possible, pushing the craftsmen and cooks beyond their limits to prepare and every moment ghost spends with him, the more he dreads his wedding day. every evening he retreats to his room, exhausted, and it’s all johnny can do to keep him afloat; trying to keep him positive as ghost falls away and simon breaks in his arms. he wants to whisk him away like the old tales, the pain his oldest friend and love is in making his heart ache but all he can do is promise to be there with him
but it seems graves wants to take even him away
“soap’s been my lord in waiting since we were children,” ghost protests, voice barely clinging to civility. “i wouldn’t want to lose such a valuable worker.”
“there are plenty of decent servants in our kingdom; you’ll forget this one soon enough,” graves waves away, carding a possessive hand over his curls and it’s only bc he’s looking for it that soap sees ghost’s jaw twitch beneath his neck gaiter. “it’s custom for one marrying into our kingdom to embrace all that it has to offer, leaving who they were behind to become someone better. you’re entering a new life with me; you don’t need the baggage of this dreary place.”
soap feels sick as he walks behind them, his blank expression hiding all sign of his breaking heart.
“soap is beholden to me,” ghost declares. “we were sworn together by the old laws. i’m afraid a custom isn’t enough for me to break a vow to the gods.”
graves lets out a disgruntled noise, tugging harshly at one of ghost’s curls with only a thin veil of fondness; his conceding smile not reaching his eyes.
“i never made a vow to the gods,” johnny points out later. “price gave me to you because he was sick of me setting fire to the kitchens.”
simon hums and sets his freshly cleaned armour aside, turning to him with a twinkle in his eyes he’s barely seen since sheperd’s missive. “you pinkie swore that you would never leave me; that’s more powerful than any promise to the gods,” he says and soap’s thrown back fifteen years, to a willow tree big enough to touch the sky; to two boys from different stations who didn’t care that one was dressed in silk and the other in scraps.
johnny feels a lightness he hasn’t in a month as simon winks at him. “besides, do you really think graves is smart enough to figure it out?”
the days pass quickly, graves’ veneer of affection growing ever thinner, and before either of them are ready, it’s the eve of ghost’s wedding.
he’s said nothing, done nothing but stare at the wedding robes graves had tailored for him in the fashion of his kingdom and johnny doesn’t know how to break the silence. he draws out each second as he fusses with the cape piece and ensures the shoes shine in the fire light until he has no more excuses.
he sighs as he straightens up, brushing off polish onto his pants. “i suppose this is where i leave you,” he says with a weak smile but it quickly dies when simon still doesn’t look at him. “i’ll be here in the morning to help you get ready… good night, simon.”
johnny bows and makes for the door, trying to convince himself he didn’t just say goodbye.
but he’s stopped by simon’s hand loosely wrapping around his wrist.
he looks back as simon finally tears his eyes away from the robes, looking at him with such clear longing it almost brings him to his knees.
“i don’t want graves to be the first man to touch me, johnny,” he confesses and johnny’s breath hitches. “i don’t want to be married to another… not when the one i’m set to wed isn’t you. but if i have to do this… please let me feel loved one final time.”
simon’s thumb brushes the back of his hand; their kingdom’s greatest warrior caressing him with a touch light as silk. he doesn’t pull johnny in, doesn’t need to; johnny’s already sinking into his touch.
desperation and love tinge every movement; johnny dancing his fingers over simon’s neck gaiter until he all too happily removes it, baring his scarred cheeks and lips. johnny kisses each one, willing his love and his touch to linger above all others as they move together; sharing breath, sharing body, sharing soul the way they wish they always have.
when ghost makes his way down the aisle, it’s not in the fine embroidered robes graves had laid out for him. he’s in his battle armour; dark and weathered, the sign of the ghost, the warrior prince, going to battle. the only thing missing is his helm, tucked under his arm.
showing his hair; curls gone and shaved tight to his skin.
a thing done only in a time of great mourning.
graves looks irate and it’s the only spark of joy ghost feels as he stops before the altar; set beneath the willow tree where johnny promised himself to him. one final insult.
ghost is silent throughout the ceremony and in spirit and in grief, so is the entire gathered kingdom until the priestess reaches the final vows and suddenly, a great roar rises above the crowd as seemingly every child in the kingdom swarms the altar.
ghost is too shocked to do anything but let them push him away from graves, bullying their way between them like they’re preparing to protect him just as he’s always protected them.
graves is furious but the children stand firm in the face of his threats until he moves to strike one-
and freezes as soap’s blade finds his throat.
“you would dare hurt these children?” he growls, sword following graves as he stumbles back. “you’ve kept up your charade the entire time and here is where you show your true colours. i think it’s time i show mine.”
graves splutters as johnny turns to the priestess and king price, falling to one knee and offering up his blade. “your grace, i wish to challenge prince graves for the hand of prince simon!”
his voice rings clear and he feels the eyes of every person in the kingdom.
but he only cares for one man.
who is watching him with more love than he’s ever felt.
“who are you to challenge me?” graves sneers. “you’re nothing more than a servant; no better than the dirt on my boots.”
johnny doesn’t bother to look at him, too caught in the love in simon’s eyes and the grateful look on king price’s face. “then you should have nothing to worry about. you’ve been crowing your accolades from the rooftops since you got here; let’s see if you live up to the hype.”
because simon only ever introduced him as his lord in waiting.
never as sir soap- his second in command and one of the greatest swordsmen their kingdom has ever seen.

Eddie and Nancy start talking to each other as a result of the fruity four hanging out together. It’s not that Robin and Steve are excluding them or anything, but sometimes they’re just on a different level with their weird platonic soulmates psychic communication whatever they call it. Anyways, Eddie and Nancy bond over the weirdness of it, but quickly become good friends.
Like good friends. Eddie is at the point where he thinks he can call Nancy his best friend - sorry Gareth you’re like second in command best friend. Sure, they’re a strange mix, but she’s been there for him even after he came out to her. Shortly after, she had revealed that she thought she might have feelings for Robin, and Eddie was absolutely ecstatic and encouraged her to go after her.
See, Eddie is determined not to lose Nancy as a friend. Because what they have is pretty close to what Steve and Robin have which is really saying something. Plus, Nancy is just a good person, so Eddie would never do anything to hurt her. Which is exactly why the only thing he will never tell her is how strong his feelings are for Steve Harrington.
One of the number one rules is to not date your friend’s ex - especially your best friend’s ex. At least, that’s one of the things Eddie got from the cheesy films that he and Nancy love to watch. But he vows to never ever make a move on Steve, and of course Steve will never make a move on him first.
So, Eddie sees nothing wrong with watching a second movie with Steve after Robin and Nancy have left. In fact, Nancy encouraged him to stay with a knowing smile, and if he didn’t know any better, that smile would mean that he should make a move. But there’s no way. Even though Nancy has feelings for Robin - and looks to be on her way to dating her soon - Eddie will not date her ex - well, attempt to date her ex.
And yes, maybe Robin got permission from Steve to date his ex, but that’s because Steve is just the kind of guy who would never sacrifice Robin’s happiness for his own. Nancy is probably the same way, but that just seems like it’ll leave a bitter trail of resentment.
So Eddie tries not to lean into Steve’s touch in the slightest even when he scoots over and drapes an arm over the back of the couch. He’s entirely on edge through the first few minutes of the movie, and then it becomes worse when he realizes Steve is staring at him. Eddie glances over to ask him if he has something on his face when Steve starts to lean in - eyes locked on Eddie’s lips.
Eddie scrambles back until he’s on the end of the couch. “What are you doing?” Eddie asks, breathing heavily as his heart races.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Steve asks with all the Harrington charm that would make Eddie swoon if he wasn’t so terrified.
“You… you can’t do that,” Eddie says as Steve scoots in closer.
He looks over him then stops. “Hey, if I read things wrong, then I’m so sorry. I’ll let it go. But I really thought you liked me,” Steve says eyebrows pinched together.
Eddie sighs. “Is it that obvious?” Then he freezes as he realizes his grave mistake. He should’ve just taken the bait and said he didn’t like him. Shit. What will Nancy think when she finds out?
Then Steve is smiling again and making his way to Eddie’s end of the couch. He flirts, “If you like me, and I like you. Then, I think there’s a pretty simple solution to those feelings.”
Eddie quickly gets off the couch and backs up until his back is against some wall. “Steve, we can’t do this.”
“Why not?” Steve asks with his head cocked to the side looking entirely confused and adorable.
“Because Nancy!” Eddie explains because it’s clear as day that there’s no way this would work since she’s his best friend.
Steve looks even more confused as he stays sitting on the couch. “I’m not dating Nancy, Eddie. And I don’t like her anymore if that’s what you’re trying to imply.”
Eddie takes a deep breath. “I can’t date my best friend’s ex,” he says firmly.
For some reason, this has Steve standing up and making his way to him with a smile. “You’re concerned about hurting Nancy?” Eddie nods because yeah of course he is. Then Steve is getting up in his personal space again and leaning in. “And what if I told you Nancy encouraged me to make a move on you?”
“What?” Eddie splutters out. There’s no way. He hadn’t even told her about his feelings.
Steve’s flirtatious grin disappears as he looks into Eddie’s eyes. “Eddie, I’m serious. I told Nancy about the way I felt, and she told me to do something about it because you definitely felt the same.”
“I didn’t even tell her,” Eddie argues. And Steve finally pulls away. Then, he grabs Eddie’s hand and tugs him into following him. Before Eddie knows it, Steve has a phone in his hand as he dials a number.
“Hey. Yeah, it’s me… Everything is okay here, don’t worry… Yes, I made a move… And Eddie here is refusing all of my advances because he’s afraid to hurt you… of course.” Steve holds out the phone to him. “Nancy wants to talk to you.”
Eddie reluctantly takes the phone. “Hello?”
“Edward Munson, you better kiss Steve right this instant.”
Eddie’s mouth gapes and then he’s firing back, “Nancy Wheeler, I refuse to date your ex because that’s one of the number one rules of what not to do to your best friend.”
There’s a pause on the other line. “What in the world are you talking about?”
Eddie’s hand goes flying up. “In all those movies the girl is backstabbed by a friend who dates her ex and that ruins the whole friendship! I’m not doing that to you!”
There’s a sigh and then Nancy says, “Eddie. Please tell me you’re not basing our friendship off crappy drama movies.” Eddie pauses as he thinks back to all the advice he’s taken from them. There’s a soft, “Oh my god,” on the other line as Eddie twists the phone cord up in his hand. “Okay, okay. Hear me out. Using those movies as example, you know what every one one of those have in common?”
“No,” Eddie admits quietly.
“The girl never gives the other friend permission, and if she does, she certainly doesn’t encourage her ex to act on it as well! Plus, the girls in all those movies are kind of bitches, and I would like to think we don’t stoop as low as they do.”
Eddie takes a breath and quickly asks, “Nancy Wheeler, please tell me you will not hate me forever if I date your ex.”
“I will hate you forever if you don’t date Steve. Eddie, you’ve been pining after him for months!”
“But don’t you think that will lead to some kind of resentment on your part?” Eddie reasons.
There’s a pause on the other line. “The only resentment will come from you because I’m entirely over Steve, and I want both of you to be happy. Plus… I’m pretty content with Robin right now.”
Eddie smiles as he eggs her on, “Pretty content you say?”
There’s a laugh on the other line before Nancy says, “We’ll talk about this later. But right now you better kiss him. He’s been pining after you for some time too, but I never told you that!”
“I love you,” Eddie says sincerely.
Nancy voice softens. “I love you, too. Now get your damn man.” She hangs up and Eddie carefully puts the phone back on the receiver. He turns to find Steve no longer near him. He wanders back to the living room where Steve sits on the couch, foot tapping quickly as he stares off into space looking so concerned that it’s actually endearing.
“Steve?”
Steve’s head snaps to the side as Eddie gets closer to him. “Yeah?” He asks sounding endlessly hopeful.
Eddie leans down and asks, “Is that kiss still an option or…”
Steve takes a moment to process, but then he’s breaking out into the biggest smile as he replies, “Yes, it’s still an option.”
So, Eddie finally leans in and kisses Steve.
He’s going to have a lot to tell Nancy later, including a solid thank you.

hyunjin soft thought
(because I'm sad about his mole fading)
so imagine, hyunjin's little mole under his eye being that feature no one likes about him, but his bestfriend absolutely falling in love with it:
you met him through a friend in college, but you and him developed a strong bond and soon he was your bestfriend. you and him shared moments or trouble, pain and bliss alike.
one odd thing about him: he seemed to always have a small amount of makeup on. you didn't care, you thought he wore it really well.
even if he didn't, you probably wouldn't care, this was hyunjin. the guy who laughed a little too loud for public places and made the best art and danced like a god and had a face sculpted by said gods, the guy who couldn't eat a sandwich without closing his eyes, had the most dramatic reactions to things and had to move half of his face to manage a wink.
this was hyunjin, and you were a little in love with him. maybe not so little.
he didn't like to admit it, but he had a soft spot in his mind just for you, he wouldn't admit how much of his art was about you, how he loved it when you watched him dance, how he would laugh a little too loud at your stupid jokes even if they were unfunny because his laugh made you laugh, how he felt blood rush to his face when he caught you staring at his face in awe, calling him 'the prettiest boy i've ever seen' or how he would worry about his little 'flaws', how you wouldn't find him as pretty if you saw them.
until one day you're at his dorm, he wants you to do his makeup for a party, he wants something other than the coverage he usually goes for, something more expressive, much like your own style.
you tell him to clean and wash off anything already on his face, and he does it without thinking, only realising he's bare faced when he's on his chair, face cupped in your hands as you contemplate what to do with the makeup beside you on his desk.
his face heats up, he can only think of how stupid the mole on his face must look right now. it's not that big of a deal, it's foolish, you're his best friend you're never gonna care about something so insignificant and yet he's contemplating all sorts of stupid things when your voice snaps him out.
"hmm, what style are we going for hyunnie? pretty or sexy?" you ask while turning his face around in your hands, more to mess with him than to survey his features -you already know them well enough.
"i was thinking something like you did when you wore that black outfit for the formal? like the darker eyes with the silver shimmer and-" he is in the middle of his explanation when you see it, the ghost of....?
"hyunnie do you have a mole under your eye?"
"uh.. yes?" he answers hesitant, only for you to fall silent, observing the little beauty mark that has almost faded from what was probably many years of bleaching products and a very consistent makeup and sunscreen regime.
"and you..... never thought of letting it be visible to me? after all we've been through hyunnie?" you started with a grave tone only to end with a laugh.
"so you don't hate it?" he looks at you like a confused ferret.
"no dumbass, i love it! it's so pretty! just like you! oh my cheesecake, the prettiest boy i know........ just became prettier. how?" you poke the little mark on his under eye, fascinated by it like a child by glitter.
"come on, don't joke around" he pouts, face still in your hands, and you physically zoom into him to take a closer look.
"no, prince, you're so pretty i could almost cry." you say, this time with the most sincerity you can manage.
"really?" he looks up at you with so much vulnerability that you almost give in to the strong urge to kiss his pout away.
"i don't really like it. my mom hates it, my ex hated it, people have never liked it. i tried getting rid of it but it never completely vanished. so i covered it instead."
"you tried getting rid of something so beautiful because people don't like it?" you ask him, and he releases a tense breath.
"it's stupid, i know. but-"
"what if I love it?"
"what?"
"will you show it if I said I love it?" you ask him, and he looks at you like you've just broken a little spell that was on him.
"i, think i will"
"that's my hyunnie! it will look so good with the type of makeup you want! can I emphasize it? pretty please?"
he can never bring himself to say no when you look like you might cry if he does.
some dabs of eyeshadow later and after the painstaking process of telling him to keep his eyelids still for a little wing, you tell him to open his eyes.
he's a pretty boy, no doubt, but after you bolden his mole with some eyeliner, he looks the most beautiful you've ever seen him look.
"i love you." is what you say when you're dabbing a dark red onto his lips, catching him off guard.
"what?"
"I love you." this time you say it firmly, without hesitation.
"i don't really mind if you don't reciprocate it, but i love you so much, hyunjin, i-" you feel his soft lips on your own before you can continue, the kiss being a non-verbal confession of his own adoration of you.
"you ruined my lipstick..." is what he says with a sad face when you part, before you begin to reapply it and clean the smudged edges.
"i can't believe you-" you laugh, "no omg i love you too' type of thing?"
"shh, do my makeup" he playfully glares at you. you spend the next minute fixing his lipstick while none of you can contain your grins.
accidental confession? more like fated reveal.
you walked into your pretty bestfriend's dorm and you walked out of your very pretty boyfriend's, with your hands interlinked. your boyfriend with a pretty mole.

You Think I Wanted This?
Summary: The king does not care for anyone's opinion but his own, and he is being entirely serious.
•○●⛦●○•
A/n: first fic for fourth wing 🥳 as y'all know, all that goes through my mind is forced marriage trope, so...😏
Enjoy my babies! ❣️
(づ ̄3 ̄)づ╭❤️~
•○🌑○•
The day was gloomy, and thunder had been cracking until an hour ago.
Y/n was grateful it had stopped, as she could continue studying without flinching every few moments. She had an important test coming up, and being King Tauri's only daughter, she had the pressure of getting good grades on her shoulders.
If only to show the people not everyone a failure in the royal family.
Y/n sighed, setting her pen down and rubbing her eyes with cramping fingers.
It was getting dark, and soon she would leave for having dinner with her family.
A knock drew Y/n from screwing her eyes out, and she called out to let them in.
Her older brother, Halden, stepped in, smiling. "How are you today sister?"
"Tired. You?"
"I'm good. You have been summoned. Father wants to meet you in his private office."
Y/n's brows furrowed. What could he want from me?
It was almost never that her father summoned his kids, and when he did, it was rarely in his private office. Those were for important matters, and he deemed his children... not important.
Y/n stood, closing her book and turning to her brother, stretching slightly. "Do you know why he has summoned me?"
He shook his head. "No idea."
"It can't be good." She mumbled, glancing into the full length mirror that took up half of the wall opposite her bed to make sure she was in an attire considered appropriate for court meetings or formal business, then followed her brother out of her room.
He was the second oldest of all the kids the king had, with Y/n being the third and Cam being the fourth, who was away in the rider's quadrant.
Y/n envied him.
"If it helps, I saw a few authorities and riders entering the office when he told me to retrieve you."
Y/n frowned, falling in step next to Halden. "That did not help."
He gave her a helpless smile. "My apologies then, princess."
She rolled her eyes, though a smile made its way onto her face. She wrapped a hand around his arm, hoping whatever the matter was, it was nothing grave.
•○🌑○•
Y/n paused outside her father's office, tugging her brother to a stop, who turned to her with furrowed brows.
"What is it?"
She placed a finger against her lips, nodding towards the two people standing nearby, whispering to each other furiously, obviously locked in a heated discussion.
Halden's eyes narrowed. He nodded to the empty spaces next to the door, which was suspicious too, considering there should have been two guards on duty manning the door.
Y/n turned away, staring at the ornately carved door to her father's office. She decided it was worth the risk, and slowly pressed her ear to the wood.
The voices were faint, but she could make out the words.
"So you want to... what? Separate Riorson and your daughter?" That was definitely her father.
"Yes, your majesty."
"And why is that?"
"Because bonded to two of the most powerful dragons, they have the power to overthrow you. And I still don't trust the Riorson boy." It was the voice of a female, and Y/n felt like she knew who it was, but she couldn't place the voice.
"But wouldn't acting on your plan put him closer to me, and indirectly give him access to more resources to take over?" His voice was sceptical, and Y/n wondered who this woman was.
"No, your majesty. Away from my daughter, he would be weaker than if with her, and you yourself know how dangerous they can be together."
Y/n heard her father sigh, but before she could hear his response, someone touched her back, and she nearly jumped out of her skin.
She whipped around, holding back a yelp, and glared at a grinning Halden.
"What?" She snapped.
"Did I scare you, Y/n?"
She slapped his arm, huffing, annoyed that he found her amusing.
His smile faded, though, as he glanced towards the two people nearby.
That was when Y/n noticed that they were staring at her and Halden, having walked closer while Y/n had been eavesdropping.
Y/n's eyes snagged on the man, his muscular arms wrapped across his chest. He was gorgeous, and Y/n wondered if he was even real. Because, surely, someone could not be this handsome, right?
Or maybe the gods simply deemed him their favourite.
Y/n blinked when someone moved in her periphery, realising she was staring, and swiftly looked away, heat rising to her cheeks.
A moment later, Y/n decided to glance at the two people again, noting that the other one was a female.
Her brows furrowed as she eyed the braid hanging over the girl's shoulder, and somewhere in the back of her mind, Y/n knew that she had met this girl.
Y/n cocked her head at the possessiveness in her eyes.
"I feel like we've met before. Have we?" Y/n questioned.
"On a couple of occasions, yes, we've met. I'm Violet."
It took Y/n a moment to place the name.
"Violet... Violet Sorrengail?"
Violet nodded, her hand coming to rest on the man's bicep. "And this is Xaden Riorson."
"Fen Riorson's son." Halden murmured.
A weird feeling spread through Y/n. "You are the Riorson boy they are talking about?"
His eyebrows- one scarred- rose, and Y/n realised she was the only one who heard the conversation going on on the other side of the door.
She swallowed, glancing at her brother before addressing Violet. "Is your mother in there?"
"Yes." Violet's eyes were filled with confusion.
"And are you and Riorson involved... in any way?"
"I- Yes?" Violet whispered, her eyes wide. "How did you know?"
Y/n sighed, horrified. "Did you tell your mother about it?"
"No. But what are you getting at?"
"Obviously, you saw me trying to listen in. Your mother was talking about separating you two."
Everyone's jaw dropped open, and this time Riorson spoke up. "They- no one knows though, and those who do would never betray us."
His voice did something to Y/n, but she reminded herself that he was unavailable. And he was also not the type of man she would go for anyways.
"Well, they know. Surely something might have happened, and she made that connection. Whatever it is, they are planning to-"
Halden's fingers wrapped around Y/n's arm suddenly, and he pulled her closer and turned her to face the door a moment before the door actually opened.
There, stood General Sorrengail, Violet's mother, and she simply ignored her daughter and Riorson, meeting the eyes of Y/n and Halden, bowing her head in deference, as was necessary.
"Prince, princess. Your father awaits your presence."
She held open the door as Halden and Y/n shuffled in, then beckoned the other two inside.
The office was massive, though sparsely furnished.
"Father." Halden bowed at the waist, and Y/n curtsied.
"I am assuming you have met Riorson here. I have summoned you here today because I have news for you."
Everyone stayed silent, anticipation building in the air.
"As we all know Riorson has dedicated his life to our kingdom and has promised he has only our best interests at heart, has proved time and time that he is willing to do anything for our kingdom."
Y/n held her breath, her gut telling her this was not going to be good.
"So in reward, I will marry my daughter to you, Xaden Riorson."
Y/n's heart stopped beating for a moment, before starting up again at a speed she failed to count, and Y/n wondered if it would gallop out of her chest entirely.
"You can't be fucking serious." Violet blurt out, then her wide eyes stare swung to her mother, who smiled sligtly.
"We are entirely serious, rider." The king said, his expression saying all about how displeased he was about her outburst.
He then turned to Y/n and Halden, his brows rising.
"You better start preparing. The wedding will be in two days' time."
And they were dismissed.
Y/n didn't miss the disbelieving look thrown her way by both Violet and Xaden, but she was not going to argue with her father.
They didn't know what would happen if she did, and she was in no mood to speak out when she could not form a single coherent thought that was not I hate him.

*ahem* Yandere Alec & Jane x Reader
Think about it,
When Bella goes to save Edward from the Volturi, Reader comes along to make sure their older sister Bella goes home alive only to make first contact with Jane.
Jane would be the quiet yet protective Yandere type, meaning when Jane first felt the bond she instantly wants the Reader close to her.
As Jane tells Bella, Edward, Alice and Reader to follow her with Felix and Demitri behind them(of course Jane makes sure to hold on to the Readers wrist lightly but strong enough)
Soon the group is in the throne room, Alec soon feels the same type of bond just like Jane and looks at Reader with hungry eyes.
Alex is the type of yandere that gets jealous easily and just wants to keep the reader locked up in a room.
Soon both siblings are on each of the readers side being protective and clingy, holding onto their hand and arms for recurrence and security.
Of course the reader is not used to it and gets freaked out and tries to get close to their older sister Bella, Bella doing the same thing by trying to reach out to the reader.
But the reader gets pulled back from Bella and has been forced to stay by the Volturi and the siblings FOREVER.
Ah yes now you’re talking my love language, who doesn’t just love them an unhinged partner
❝forced to stay❞
Tumblr media
✭ pairing : yandere jane volturi x reader x yandere alec volturi
✭ fandom : twilight x reader
✭ summary : the moment she made a contact with the twins she should’ve known that her fate was sealed
✭ authors note : I don’t know what it is about having a unhinged partner, but I find it oddly romantic . Like for an example I have been dating my current boyfriend for almost a year now and only recently I would say a couple of months back. He told me that he was going to look up my location and come to my house after I did not respond to him for the first few days of us talking, we were not dating in the beginning, obviously so the fact that this man was going to somehow get access to my location whew gurl, this man got me down bad

The evening had settled in, casting long shadows as Bella Swan sat in her room, her thoughts consumed by worry for Edward. She had barely spoken to him since he left, and the emptiness was overwhelming. Just then, a light knock on her window startled her, and she turned to find Alice Cullen perched on the windowsill, her golden eyes filled with urgency.
"Bella," Alice began, her voice laced with concern, "we need to talk."
Bella's heart raced as she sat up straighter. "What is it, Alice?"
"It's Edward," Alice said, her voice steady yet grave. "He's planning to expose himself to humans—to reveal his true nature—in order to provoke the Volturi into killing him."
The words struck Bella like a physical blow. Her mind raced, unable to comprehend what she had just heard. "No, he can't be serious," Bella whispered, her voice trembling.
Alice's expression was somber. "He believes it's the only way to keep you and your family safe from the Volturi's attention."
Tears welled in Bella's eyes as the gravity of the situation settled in. "I have to stop him," she said, her voice determined.
Alice nodded in agreement. "I'm coming with you."
As Bella stood, her gaze locked onto the window, and she realized that someone else was listening. Turning, she saw her younger sister, (y/n), standing at the door, her expression a mix of concern and determination.
"(Y/n), what are you doing here?" Bella asked, surprised yet touched by her sister's presence.
"I heard everything," (y/n) replied, her voice steady. "And I'm coming too."
Bella's heart swelled with a mixture of pride and worry. "(Y/n), this is dangerous. I can't let you get involved."
(Y/n) stepped forward, her eyes unwavering. "Bella, you're my sister. I can't just sit back while you face this alone."
Alice's lips curled into a small smile. "She's right, Bella. We're all in this together."
Bella hesitated, torn between her protective instincts and the realization that her family's bond was unbreakable. Finally, she nodded. "Fine, you can come. But promise me you'll stay close and follow my lead."
(Y/n) nodded, determination gleaming in her eyes. "I promise."
With the decision made, the three of them exchanged a look that held a mixture of worry and resolve. The bond between sisters ran deep, and their determination to protect each other was unyielding.
As they stepped out of the house, ready to face the perilous journey ahead, Bella knew that no matter what challenges they encountered, they would face them together. The unbreakable bond between sisters would guide them through the darkness, giving them the strength to save the ones they loved, even if it meant facing the Volturi themselves.
As Bella, Alice, and (y/n) approached the Volturi chamber, a tense atmosphere hung in the air. Shadows danced across the walls, and the weight of their purpose settled heavily upon them. Just as they were about to enter, a trio of figures appeared, drawing their attention.
Jane, Demetri, and Felix materialized before them, their presence both unsettling and foreboding. (Y/n) sensed the intensity of the situation, her instincts on high alert. Her gaze locked with Jane's, and a strange shiver ran down her spine. Unbeknownst to her, Jane's connection to (y/n) ran deep, fueled by the intense bond of mates.
Demetri's voice cut through the air, his tone respectful yet firm. "The kings are awaiting your presence. Follow us."
Bella exchanged a wary glance with Alice, a silent acknowledgment of the gravity of the situation. With a nod, they followed Demetri and Felix, their steps echoing in the dimly lit corridor. The tension was palpable, and (y/n)'s heart raced as they moved closer to their destination.
As they entered the chamber, (y/n) felt a shiver run down her spine once more. The Volturi kings sat upon their thrones, exuding an air of authority and power. Aro, Caius, and Marcus regarded them with interest, their eyes glinting with curiosity as they took in the unexpected guests.
"(Y/n) Swan and Bella Swan," Aro's voice rang out, his tone laced with intrigue. "A pleasure to have you with us."
(Y/n)'s and her sister Bella’s eyes widened, taken aback by Aro's direct acknowledgment of her presence. They offered a tentative nod, voices momentarily caught in their throat.
“So tell me, why have you come here? Why do two humans and one vampire stand before us?” Aro questions obviously amused with the whole situation.
As the conversation with the Volturi kings continued, (y/n) felt a strange sensation wash over her. The intensity of Alec's gaze upon her didn't go unnoticed. Unbeknownst to her, the same bond that had sparked between her and Jane had also formed with Alec, albeit with different implications.
Alec's eyes, hungry and possessive, trailed over (y/n) as if she were the only thing in the room. An invisible thread connected them, a connection that (y/n) couldn't comprehend. Her heart quickened under his gaze, an unfamiliar heat blooming within her.
As the conversation continued, (y/n) found herself shifting uncomfortably under the weight of Alec's gaze, a sense of unease settling in the pit of her stomach. Soon before she knew it Alec and Jane were standing before her, they clinged to her every being allowing no room for others to touch or even get near her.
Their presence was suffocating .
(Y/n)'s world had become a whirlwind of confusion and unease. She felt like a puppet, caught between the possessive affections of Alec and Jane on one side and the protective concern of Bella on the other. It was suffocating, overwhelming, and completely foreign to her.
As (y/n) attempted to navigate through the tense atmosphere, her heart rate quickened. Alec and Jane were by her side, their grip on her hand and arms feeling like a constant reminder of their presence. The clinginess and possessiveness made her uncomfortable, and she found herself longing for a moment of solitude.
Bella's attempts to reach out to her were a lifeline in this sea of intensity. She wanted to cling to her sister, the familiar bond between them offering a semblance of normalcy. But every time she tried to get closer to Bella, Alec and Jane would pull her back, their possessive gestures preventing her from seeking comfort in her older sister's arms.
Torn between the conflicting desires of those around her, (y/n) felt trapped. She wanted to be with Bella, to find solace in her sister's embrace, but Alec and Jane's hold on her was unyielding.
Then, the announcement from Marcus changed everything. His words echoed in the chamber, declaring that (y/n) was Alec and Jane's mate. The shock and realization of what that meant sent tremors through her. It was a bond she didn't understand, a connection that both terrified and intrigued her.
As the truth sank in, the weight of her circumstances settled on her shoulders. Aro, always the master manipulator, took advantage of the situation. He presented Bella and Alice with an unfair deal, Edward's life in exchange for (y/n)'s captivity among the Volturi.
The decision was left to (y/n), and despite the unease and discomfort, she found herself speaking up. "Agree to the deal," she told Bella and Alice, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her. "I'll be fine. You have to save Edward."
It was a sacrifice that she never thought she would have to make, but (y/n) was determined to protect her loved ones, no matter the cost. As the deal was settled, (y/n) felt a mixture of fear and determination coursing through her veins. Her life had taken an unexpected turn, and now she had to face an uncertain future, bound to two yandere vampires who held an inexplicable claim over her heart and soul.

Medic!Reader × Poly!141
Part I | Part II | Part III
[Tags: platonic, fluff, self-indulgent]
A/N: This fic is dedicated for @rainlovesyou12 hope you like it <3
You are a medic, and you come from a rich family, so naturally you're placed in an elite team, at least populated by polite men
While you're not a spoiled brat, you sometimes dare to challenge anyone when you disagree with them. Your "courage" is usually dubbed as rich kid syndrome in the military
Strangely, the captain (Price) is amused by your behavior
He never scolded you, even when people said he should
Your job is a medic, but you're more like a secretary of the team.
You help Price with the paperworks, taking care of the base, and sometimes even their foods.
He also asks you to accompany him to meetings or private talks with the superior, the reason? They don't give him a proper secretary, even when they should.
When you first come in, the team is still on a mission. It took 3 whole months before you met the whole team
Your first reaction: "Wow, life's so unfair."
Their heights tower you that it's almost unreal
When you greet them one by one, a member catches your eyes
It's Soap
As a medic, it's your obligation to heal them if they have any injury. So when you see the blood on his clothes, you immediately point it out to him
"You're injured!"
He seems confused for a second as he looks down to his gears, before he laughs. "Tha' ain't my blood, bonnie."
"Still, I have to check if you have any wounds."
Surprisingly, most of them are minor
You begin to check the other members, but it's the same for them too. Just scratches and bruises
They'd dismiss you, if not for your question about their discomfort, or if they had any dislocation
And that makes them all your patients
Even the reluctant Ghost finally gave in. "Fucking hell Price, she's a pushover." He said, "You'll come to like it someday" Price replied
After that, you and the team settle in the base, trying to get used to each other's company
(You also didn't ask questions on why the big man is still wearing a mask even though he's in the base)
Soap, and Gaz are the easiest to talk to, while Ghost is just polite, but still keeps his distance.
The three of you bond over food, because it's mandatory to cook if you wanna save money. You and Gaz are great at it, while Soap is strictly prohibited from entering the kitchen
Soap absolutely ravaged the foods that you joked about how he always makes the plates squeaky clean
On rare occasions, the giant man does show up at the table
When you ask him about what they eat usually, you can't believe your ear
"I ate the ratio that's been provided by the base." "You ate that dogshit???"
You end up scolding him (unintentionally) and end up telling him to eat the cooked food, but when he gets defensive, you tell him he doesn't have to eat together, just reheat the food whenever he's hungry
He didn't touch the food for 2 days, until one day, the leftover is gone, and the dishes were washed
You have no idea when did he do it, but you're glad nevertheless
Remember when I said you're more of a secretary than a medic? That Price often took you to meetings? Well, that leads you to an unfortunate meeting with Graves
Even Price was hesitant to bring you along
When you first met him, he's exactly the man that you picture in your head; arrogant, stuck up, flashy, and playboy. Basically all the bad stuff
He shamelessly flirts with you, to the point that Price has to clear his throat to remind him of the ongoing negotiation
One time he asks you (forcibly) if you'd like a bottle of a fancy wine that you don't even know
"You look like a girl that'd enjoy the Chateau Lynch-Bages' Pauillac." He'd smile
After several failed attempts to decline, you eventually give up
"I'm flattered that you'd give me such luxurious items, but I'd love to receive basic ingredients for cake. That way I can repay you back, how's that sound?"
He literally takes it as flirting
The next day, you literally received the high quality flour, eggs, sugar, etc etc that come in 2 boxes, along with a message: "While I hope you'd return the favor in some other way, I can't wait to taste what you made" and a scribbled wink
You end up baking a peanut caramel chocolate cake (A/N: try it, it's soooo good) because of the amount of chocolate he gave
The team watch you as you assemble the cake
You cut the cake into a good size for gift, and give the rest to the team
They treat it like a delicacy
After you sent it via his man, you received his reply on the next day
"I know you didn't give me all of the cake, so I hope you'll make up for it the next time. Ps. I like it, you should make more for me in the future" along with the abominable wink
Although you're irked by his narcissism, you feel a bit embarrassed and puzzled that he knew it's not the whole cake
You try to figure out how, and finally it clicks; he purposely bought a bigger size pan, and a medium sized box. Along with the evidence of a long rollcake box that somehow can fit the rest of the cake. You sigh, this man is really petty
And stubborn as well
The pile of unopened letters, with his name signed on the back would be the proof of it
Soap and Gaz tease you about him when they read the notes, but you dismiss them by saying: "I'd rather date Ghost than him."
Fast forward, Price and Gaz'll leave for a mission for months. But Soap and Ghost stay behind
Weeks would pass relatively quiet, and they're still radio silent. You couldn't help but worry, though Soap quickly assured you that they'd be fine
Ghost still kept a distance between you and him, until one night, when you and Soap fell asleep on a movie marathon, you woke up startled by the sight of him on the sofa.
"Shit, you scared me."
"I'd be surprised if you didn't."
"Why are you here?" You quickly corrected yourself, "It's not that you're not welcomed, but you're not around much, so…"
"No reason, just feel like it."
Silence
Then you gather the courage to say, "By the way, I'm glad that you didn't eat those ratios anymore. Let me know if you crave something in particular, I'll try to make it."
He just stares at you, before saying, "I don't understand, Price can just order takeouts for us, why should you burden yourself with cooking? Aren't you a medic?"
"Well," you scratch your head, "I'm the one who suggested it, because I couldn't stand eating takeouts everyday. The foods he ordered were greasy, and I didn't want to get sick because of it."
He lets out a snort, "You don't have to care about your weight when you're in the military."
"It's not about that." You shook your head, "But if you said it that way, well, I won't be here forever, so I have to maintain it somehow. Besides, I'd like to keep my cholesterol level normal so I won't die of heart failure or something."
That catches his attention as he gives out a small laugh, "The doctors I knew are either dead or diabetic. You're the first one that cares about your own health."
You shrug, "As I should. You should too."
For a split second, you let out a cold sweat, wondering if it somehow offends him for some reason, before you let yourself relax when he continues watching the TV. The two of you watch in silence, before you fall asleep again
Nearing the arrival of your team, you decide to busy yourself with dinner. Which, more like grocery shopping and planning on the dishes
"They usually eat pizzas after a long mission, ye don't have to do that." Said Soap one morning
"I don't care if they end up ordering pizzas." He furrows his brows at you, "I just feel the need to do that, I don't know why."
He playfully grins, "Wife instinct?"
"That's not it," you laugh it off, "It's just that, Price ever said to me that maybe one day, one of them won't ever come back. It has stuck with me ever since, and I don't wanna think about that at all."
He nods understandingly. You need a distraction
"Let me help then."
You both settle with beef bowl, eggs, and potato salad, based on his input that 'they'd probably want to eat a lot, so just make them easy to get refill'
You bought a ton of sliced beefs and onion, rice, and potatoes
The day that they come back, you're hit with a bad feeling and fear the worst, but after seeing them both in one piece, you let out a relief sigh
Still, the dark mood is still persistent
They look like they don't have any appetite, even for a pizza
You actually would let them rest, if they didn't look like they're malnourished
(Actually, when you think back, it's just an excuse to feed them. You actually just want them to eat your food)
"Would you guys like a beef bowl?"
Price perks up at the offer
"Well shite (Name), just what I need."
You tell him there's also potato salad, but that day he just wants the rice
They end up eating one portion—a small size compared to what they usually eat
They're still quiet even after the dinner, so you decide to excuse yourself, giving them space and the rest they need
You're in the office, sorting through documents until Price knocks on the door
He looks weary but still offers you a smile
"I'm sorry for being so gloomy tonight." He told you
"That's fine, really. You don't have to apologize."
"I feel like I have to, especially when you too are affected by it."
You let out an awkward chuckle, "Well, it's nothing like that. I know you guys are tired so I don't wanna bother you with too many questions." You shrug, "Anyway, I'm glad you guys are alright."
A warm smile spreads on his lips, "You're a good girl, too good for us men." He uncrosses his legs as he leans away from the door frame, "Thank you for the food, we'll talk again tomorrow, yeah?"
The two of you exchange a "goodnight" as he walks away, and you come back to your work
After Price, you didn't expect anyone to come to your place again, until the second person showed up at your door. You lift your head and see Gaz standing there, almost shyly
"Oh hey." You greet him, "Didn't see you there. Need anything?"
"Hey." He greets back, "No, I don't need anything. Just checking on you."
You tilt your head, face clearly shows a questioning look but you cover it with a smile
"Uh, y'know what? I wish I could tell you what happened, you must've been worried about—"
"Oh, no, no. You don't have to tell me. I don't wanna know either." You offer him a reassurance, "Don't worry about it, Gaz."
He seems relieved upon hearing that
"You're right." He said, "But it doesn't mean that I can't tell you funny stories."
He pulls up a chair as he begins to tell you stories from the mission. From the horrible dad jokes, and a moment when Price slipped on the ladder. In exchange, you tell him about your encounter with Ghost, which makes him laugh
It actually surprises you to hear Gaz telling you stories and all. You assume that he only does it to cheer you up, or that's just his way to destress. Either way, it's nice to have a company like him
He'd keep going if you didn't remind him of the time, and you have to force tell him to sleep, promising that you'll talk tomorrow again
The next day, you're surprised to find almost all of the members are in the kitchen. Chatting and eating the leftover beef with reheated rice
All of them, except for Soap, but it's because he hasn't wake up
You didn't want to admit it, but seeing the pan empty makes your pride swell
You join their talk as you sit on the table, and they immediately complain about you not making enough batches for breakfast in a humorous way. You complain back by saying you didn't get paid enough for this
And that leads them to protest about the food budget to Price
He just sighs
By the time Soap joins in, all the food is already gone. And he's pissed about it
"You gotta order pizza for today." Gaz jokes
"Fookin' cunt."
As the conversation flows, Price announces something so suddenly, that you doubt your hearing
"What did you say?"
"You'll be on the same mission as us next month. Pack up and be prepared."
Gaz whistles, "We won't be doing paperwork then?"
"She'll focus on being a medic, so she won't be doing your paperwork."
He groans
"That's… great news." You responded when they all stared at you, "When will we be leaving again?"
"Exactly one month from now." He explained before he sighed, "But don't be too happy yet, because it's not easy to be stationed in the red zone. I know you can handle it but still." He shook his head, "The bad news is, and you wouldn't like it when you hear it but, the person who requested your assistance… Is Graves."

The music echoing through the loud speakers was suddenly replaced by your muffled breaths, a frustrated sigh escaping your lips as you kept messing up the same step for the nth time that day. You groaned in annoyance when your friend blamed it on the pain of your overworked limbs; yet, you signaled him to shut up, starting the music once again and trying to concentrate as much as you could before everything you crafted came crashing down—cause this scene happened exactly two minutes before the disaster.
Wooyoung was helping his bandmate, Hongjoong, upload some announcements on the internet as they temporarily needed a lead vocalist who could replace Seonghwa on their tour. Due to the loss of his soulmate, all he wanted was to stay back from fans and fame for a bit, and they were all willing to give him a well-deserved break and wait for him.
"You know you can still call me whenever you need help, right, guys?" Seonghwa asked on the other side of the phone, voice low and raspy due to all the crying he'd been through.
Hongjoong smiled and nodded, wishing nothing more than to be close to his friend and show his support in this hard period. Attending a funeral would never be easy, especially when it’s your soulmate’s, your other half’s grave you're crying on; so he just wanted to show love to his friend.
“Yeah, Seonghwa, just relax. It will be alri—’’
“OUCH! MY FUCKING HAND!” a sharp scream was heard, followed by another one: “It hurts, I can’t feel my hand, ouch!”
“Woo?”
“Soulmate, I fucking adore you but, holy crap!”
Hongjoong looked worriedly at Wooyoung, hanging up the phone as Wooyoung continuously hissed in pain. Among the eight rockstars, Wooyoung was the most excited to meet his soulmate—despite the pain he had to go through. Thus, he was convinced it wasn't one-sided; Wooyoung was clumsy and made you suffer a bit as well, and after all, where would the fun be in having such a bond, if not in teasing each other about the places you've hit yourself? Wooyoung endured all this pain for the sake of your tied souls, the pain that wore his soulmate's face, so he was taking it like a champ—not today, though.
“Does it hurt that bad? Do you need to go to the hospital? You have quite a low pain tolerance, maybe it’s too muc-’’
“Shut up and just take me to the hospital!”
Hongjoong took a long breath and shut his eyes, allowing Wooyoung to talk to him like that only this time. It’s safe to say that it was a hell of a day for both of you; all you wanted was to prepare the perfect choreography for the opening of Guerrillas’ concert, yet everything seemed compromised now. You were on the way to the hospital and you were sure you had some broken bones, crying not only for you but for your soulmate too, knowing how hurtful that must have been. Minho was nagging at how he told you that it was too much, but as soon as he saw the tears on your cheeks, he stopped.
“Y/n, you will be fine… I’m by your side.” Minho, better known as Lee Know, your friend and partner for over ten years sighed, rubbing your back to soothe you a bit.
You tried to take deep breaths, being used to this kind of pain, but more likely overwhelmed due to the wrong time this happened. As soon as you reached the hospital, your friend helped you get out of the car and followed you inside, asking for a doctor who could see you soon. At the same time, Hongjoong made it to the hospital too, carrying his extra whiny friend as he didn’t seem to shut up about his condition.
“I’ll get you both an X-ray, prepare. I will need to cut your shirt so that I can have access to your hand, okay?” the doctor professionally said, until you heard some protests from an emo guy.
“My mesh shirt? No, doctor, sorry but you are not cutting this.”
“Wooyoung, let her do her job.” Joong sighed, rubbing his temples as the younger one was giving him a headache.
“No, no! No one is touching my outfit, I put a lot of effort into it!”
Already losing his patience regarding Wooyoung’s antics, Hongjoong nudged his nape slightly in order to make him shut up—yet Wooyoung didn’t seem to be the only one affected.
“Ouch!” you said in unison.
Your eyes widened and you looked immediately around you, in search of the voice that echoed your scream, realizing that besides your friend, the emo guy, his friend, and the doctor, the room was empty. You stared at the shiny, silver jewels that adorned the long-haired guy’s ears, your eyes unconsciously roaming on his eyebrow piercing, then slowly, on his handsome features. His hair was tied in a messy ponytail, and you were completely out of it; was he really your soulmate? You must have been daydreaming for a while, because you felt Minho’s fingers pinching you, and when you flinched in pain, the guy copied your reaction—he had to be your soulmate. You opened your eyes to see him standing next to you, an overly excited wave coming from his healthy hand.
“Hey, I think we’re soulmates!” he exclaimed, a big smile stretching his lips as he talked again: “You have no idea how excited I was to meet you, despite the pain you caused me. I learned to love you with all of it.”
You smiled softly, reciprocating the feeling; the soulmate bond has always been a special thing for you, so now, with your soulmate beside you, you couldn’t help but show it to the world. Soul ties have fascinated you since you were just a little girl; something about having your own half, someone you could call yours forever, made you shiver with excitement.
“I’m happy to meet you as well, emo guy.”
Hongjoong smiled softly at the sight of his friend, an arm on his shoulder as he played with his hair softly: “Wooyoung is quite a special human, he is more than the emo guy he wants to be perceived as; he has a lot of love to give you.”
You nodded at his friend’s words, Woo’s hand touching yours before the doctor came back, taking you to the place where you would be examined.
“Seems like you two have a broken arm,” the doctor said, writing something down before talking again: “you should take some rest and medication, for at least a few weeks.”
“I won’t be able to play the guitar for that much time? Holy crap, what would you guys do without your dear bassist?”
"So we need to replace both Seonghwa and you now, amazing." Hongjoong said sarcastically, rolling his eyes at the younger one who was sticking his tongue at him.
The familiar names seemed to make more sense now, as you opened your mouth to speak.
“Don’t tell me… are you guys members of Guerrillas?” the words left your mouth as your soulmate smirked, nodding.
“See, Joong? She’s a woman of culture.”
“No way, I was supposed to dance at the opening of your concert!”
You saw the shocked look on their faces; they were surprised to have one of the best dancers at that moment, and the leader of a well-known dancing crew beside them.
“I guess I couldn’t get luckier, then.” Wooyoung whispered, hugging your shoulders with the other hand while you leaned into his touch.
Tumblr media
Three months passed since you and Wooyoung first met, and this period was filled with nothing but happiness and news in your life. You have discovered that under the cold allure he loved to keep on stage, he was a lovely, sweet guy (although clingy). He was also surprised by how much you resembled each other, though, in the end, you were his other half. His heart had always craved your touch, your voice, you. And despite those around you who were judging you for going too fast, you two felt as if it was the right thing to do. For Wooyoung, his soulmate meant another reason to keep pushing through when life gets hard, it meant happiness, the sweet sensation of spiritual fulfillment. For you? Your soulmate meant dynamic. A constant development of your personas, learning and growing together. A necessary energy that tied your souls together—it was giving you life, just like the blood flowing through your veins. And there you were now, in your practice room, your body settled between his legs as he laid his chin on your shoulder, watching whatever you were scrolling on your phone when suddenly, an idea hit you.
“Should I show you the choreography that united us?” you chuckled, turning your head to see him better.
“I would love to. Teach me too!”
You smiled and got up, dragging him after you, in the middle of the floor. You started teaching him some of the easier moves in your choreography and watched as he followed along, though he seemed pretty much blinded by your beauty, and maybe, just maybe, a little lightbulb started to brighten his head with some amazing ideas too. He met the sight of his guitar, going to grab it as you looked at him.
“Woo?”
He just smirked, grabbing the guitar and attaching it to his torso with the help of its strap, then taking his phone and playing a rhythmic rock song, filling the speakers and your ears with a sweet melody. Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love was now serving as background music, while Wooyoung was working on strumming his guitar, fingers skillfully plucking the strings while he moved his head along to the music. You looked at him in awe, admiring how his hair fell into beautiful, raven waves on his face, the way the rings adorning his fingers shined with every movement of his hands, the way his body was swaying to the beat.
It didn't take you a lot to start moving to the music, eyes shining with passion and love as you found yourself freestyling something. Your arms and legs were swaying graciously, making you get carried away with this being the first time properly dancing since your hand healed. Your soulmate wore a cheeky grin on his face as he started to sing the lyrics, his fancy attitude flying around him as he mouthed the words.
"There goes my baby
She knows how to rock and roll
She drives me crazy"
His smile kept growing bigger and bigger with every step he was making toward you, finally approaching you and putting his guitar aside. He smiled and his hands found their way around your waist, your bodies swaying in unison (more like jumping as you were too immersed into the music), into your little soulful party. He pressed his forehead on yours, noses rubbing together, making you giggle softly. You two kept stepping and stepping until he had you pinned to the wall as his face got closer to yours, his warm breath on your neck. His soft lips captured yours, your hands finding their way into his hair as your tongues molded into a sweet, yet passionate kiss. It was lovely, exuding a sincere emotion, the pure love between you—that was until you softly hissed when you felt something cold against your lips, looking at Wooyoung with a raised eyebrow, to which he only smirked.
“Holy shit, do you have a tongue piercing?”
“Surprise, baby.”
Tumblr media
You were face-timing your boyfriend while he was on tour, and the idea of cooking together popped into Wooyoung’s head. He was still upset that you had an event coming up right when he was touring (or at least that's what you told him, cause you had other plans), so there you were, trying your best to distract him from finding out more than needed.
“Hi, princess. We’re making waffles today.”
“Okay, chef.” you nodded, giggling at how advanced he was with his recipe, while you were only taking the ingredients out, in order to waste time.
“My love, you are soooo sloooowww.” he whined, intentionally dragging the words and looking at the camera while you moved away from the camera’s view. “Baby, a bit to the right, please? I can’t see you, can you move your phone a bit?”
He frowned when he noticed your sudden disappearance, looking around and noticing something off; you were definitely not home. What he expected to be your usual kitchen was replaced with some modern furniture, way too similar to the one in his hotel room.
“Babe? Your kitchen looks so damn similar to mine… Are you perhaps in the same hotel as me? Did you trick me?”
You smiled softly, knocking at the door and waiting for him to open it; without hesitation, he hung up the call and opened the door for you, catching you in his arms as you wrapped your legs around his waist, whispering a slow “Surprise, baby.”

Iris Flowers
Ollie Bearman x fem!reader
From this request
Summary: You and Ollie had been dating since secondary school and everyone was envious of your perfect relationship. But not everything was as perfect as it seemed. You had a terminal illness, and even though Ollie was always with you, your body couldn't take it anymore. On your birthday, a year after you died, Ollie came to visit you.
WARNINGS:terminal illness,very angst, death,cemetery,not edited writing
A/n: I literally cried while writing,I hope you will like it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You and Ollie have been dating since secondary school. Everyone around you was talking about the perfect harmony and bond between you.Everyone wanted that "fabulous" relationship. Of course you weren't that happy behind the scenes.Since childhood you had a heart condition that got worse as you got older
You knew this disease had fatal consequences, Ollie knew too, but he was always trying to support you.He was trying not to let you quit, doing everything he could to discourage you if you tried to refuse a treatment.Of course, it was very difficult, especially from a young age, it was even more difficult to fight them.
And you were tired, in your heart and in your body, your pure heart that couldn't take any more stopped beating one day.It was so hard for Ollie to digest your death, not to mention getting used to it, the shock he felt when he got the news, his heart stopped when you died.Everything started to feel very difficult, it was very difficult to live and breathe for him
Of course, as the days progressed, Ollie had to move on with his life, and you'd want that too.But he never forgot you you were his soul mate you were his everything. For a while he was just devoted to his work and people around him were worried about him but it was all he could do to stop thinking about you.
But there was a special reason that Ollie was standing by the grave with iris flowers in his hand that day. It's been a year since you've been gone and today is your birthday.Ollie knew how much you loved Iris flowers, he left them on your grave and stared at the sky for a while to keep from crying."Happy birthday darling, I am here,I brought you your favorite flower, just like these flowers, I wanted to give you some comforting news."
Ollie tells you what he's been up to lately, he bluntly talked about how hard it was to get over you, he said he was trying to keep his promises to you.Tears filled his eyes as he spoke, and he was struggling not to cry.He missed you so much and it made his heart hurt.
"I don't want to lie to you Y/N, I feel like a piece of my soul has died.I tried, I really tried, but no matter how much I tried, it always seemed to make things worse I give myself to work but I know I worry people around me but it doesn't work without you" he sniffed "I wish you were here".
Then he thought of what you talked about before you died "Remember when you asked me to date someone else to replace you? I think I'm going to be single for my whole life"he chuckled to himself "There's not single soul that will ever replace you. I hope you know that, wherever you are"
"My beautiful angel thank you for...for all these beautiful years. I just wish I had more time to spend with you. Sorry I always far because of racing. I'm so.... sorry". He couldn't hold back any longer and started crying now he needed your hug more than ever. Then he felt a hand on his arm and looked over to see an old lady smiling slightly and handing him a napkin.
The old woman looked at the grave as Ollie thanked her and wiped his eyes."You seemed to love her so much. May I know who is she?"A soft smile formed on Ollie's face and he looked at your grave."I really do, she's my beloved" The old woman looked sadly at Ollie. "Sorry, it must be very hard for you" Ollie glanced briefly at the woman, then back at the grave. "It is. She was everything to me. I still feel like I'm just waiting for her to come back"
The woman rubbed Ollie's arm and slowly walked away. A white butterfly landed on your tombstone, causing Ollie to smile. He knew your soul was with him somewhere around here."My beautiful darling, every time I can come to you, no matter how hard it is, I will bring you these flowers. My sweet paradise, please don't suffer any more where you go, or I will never forgive myself for leaving you alone." he put his hand on the ground in your grave "I love you darling happy birthday again, i will come again soon" before walking away he took one last look at your grave and remembered you as you were holding the iris flowers in your hand because you always wanted to be remembered like that...

*breaks down your Inbox's door* *heavy breathing* I've made my own Shadow OCs but don't think this means I'm happy about it.
*I am actively losing sanity because Graves and his Shadows have me in a death grip*
So here, here are my Shadows. There's like nothing on them cause I've just now made this shit up for ~reasons~
Andrew 'Woody' Fallwood. Gets his callsign from his name and the fact he's a cowboy. Around 5'11", not very big but is plenty strong. He's a silly guy, likes to make jokes and stuff to keep the others calm, especially big boy Moose. Almost always has a cigarette in his mouth. Can be a bit of an ass but that's just cause he's a stubborn little Southern man. More of an Appalachian southern man, and grew up on a cattle farm. Just really loves cows cause he has so many fond memories of the cows under his family's care. Scary good shot. At least it's scary until people learn he grew up in rural Appalachia and then it's just "oh you've been shooting since you were six, haven't you?"
Cole 'Flash' Halley. Tall, lanky guy that stands at around 6'2". Youngest to be recruited into Shadow Company, often gets called "Baby" or similar things since he's so young. Instantly became so many of the Shadows' new younger brother. Gets his name from one of his first days as a Shadow where he beat a record for completing an obstacle course in the fastest time. He holds all the records for "fastest" on so many things on base, including "fastest time to get a hug from Moose". Cause while Moose is a nice guy and all, he doesn't just go around hugging people, especially the newer Shadows. All Flash had to do though was walk up to him in tears and Moose's big brother instincts kicked in. This was his second day on base. He's the stereotypical little brother, though, cause he's constantly doing things to piss other Shadows off/to just be annoying for the hell of it.
Matthew 'Truck' Simmons. Shorter (around 5'8"), but broad, bulky guy. He's been dubbed "getaway driver". He drives everything, from the great big tanks to just normal ass cars. Definitely a truck freak, and is always in the shop, working on any of the numerous terrain vehicles the Shadows have. Had to repeat a couple of school years, and the second he turned 18 he enlisted. He was sick of being told he wasn't "smart" just because he can't do well on academic tests. But put a truck in front of him and a toolkit and he can tell you every single thing about that truck in extreme detail.
Jacob 'Ness' Owens. Not tall at all compared to most other Shadows, only around 5'6". He's a superb swimmer, and is almost always in the water. Loves to dive and do other water related missions. If he could, he'd swim in the outdoor pool year long (it's closed during the off seasons), but luckily the indoor pool's temperature is more easily controlled, thus allowing him to intentionally make it colder. These pools are for training, but the indoor one tends to be more recreational. Ness is required to sign into something when he wants to swim, cause he always makes it colder, and Graves got sick of the complaining from Shadows trying to swim after he's done. Gets his callsign from the fact he's often in his full wetsuit while swimming, and one time, during the night, several Shadows saw him swimming outside and joked he looked like the Loch Ness Monster. He's very quiet and rarely talks, doesn't like to be around a lot of people, but does a good job and is still friendly enough. Prefers giving in to his cryptid namesake (and the fact he's Ohioan) and doing weird things to get out of conversations. (like staring wide-eyed at them and sinking under the table like it's the water level)
*Ness is my baby boy I love him so much*
Anyways, back to complaining over my willing obsession over Graves and Shadow Company
Ah, the brainrot has a firm root if you made ocs HAHAHAHAHAHAH-
-
Moose is actually an excellent swimmer and handles the cold pretty well so him and Ness would bond over that. Moose won’t stay in the water as much but he would definitely join him for a swim.
Flash would definitely be mothered by Moose. Having joined when he was pretty young himself he’s pretty protective of younger Shadows. He tries to not be overbearing but sometimes he can’t help it and worries over them.
Moose would love to hear Truck talk about his vehicles. He knows a few things himself about them, well enough to get them running or to make repairs if needed. He likes listening to people talk about things they’re passionate about.
Woody would definitely be good friends with Moose. The jokes would win him over and they have a shared love for cows. But the accent would definitely have a part in it, something Moose won’t admit. A southern accent is very comforting to him.

Guess who?
Is me! 🌱anon!
back again
I've been thinking and was gonna write myself BUT sharing is caring so BEN drowned with a ghost reader and they game but most importantly they torment jeff, for fun. Yk? He be walking and they just be popping out the walls with lighers: >:D. He avoids them like the plauge, poor thing.
Hope you get more requests, you write so well you deserve them
BEN and a ghost reader tormenting Jeff
Tumblr media
A/N: THE CHAOS I LOVE IT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA >:3 ALSO THANK YOU 😭😭😭😭 this is the first time I'm sharing my writing and is getting this much attention it's giving me a reminder that I'm not invisible and people can actually like me lmao
Tumblr media
👻 You both meet in an online chat (duh) and BEN decided to scare/kill/torture you. But when he did go through the internet and stuff to get to your house... It was in a grave yard and you were already dead...
👻 He was taken back a little bit because of it, there isn't that many ghosts in earth, let alone ghosts that still interact with the technology and humans.
👻 He shrugged it off and continued playing games with you from time to time
👻 then this gaming sessions started to be more and more frequent and eventually you became friends, so he (in secret from slender) started to take you to the mansion. You meet Jeff there and with the kind of asshole personality he has you didn't really like him
👻 one time you and BEN were chilling in the mansion and Jeff pulled a prank on both of you. BEN was already in getting back at Jeff but you convinced him to do it 1000x worse
👻 So your plan started in the next day you were in the mansion. Started simple with you and BEN glitching and malfunctioning any eletronic object he wanted to use from his phone to the toaster.
👻 Then you guys started spooking him like traditional ghost, you know? Flickering lights, moving objects etc. At this point Jeff was already pissed off
👻 The cherry on top of this prank cake came when you noticed some lighters scattered around the mansion (thanks to Masky and any other creep that smoke) and decided to light one or two and run around Jeff with them on. BEN joined right away too.
👻 You guys Laughed so much this day that you both decided to do this again and again.
👻 You don't come often to the mansion, otherwise slender would figure out and consequences would take place. But everytime you do come, you and BEN team up to annoy Jeff
👻 He now avoids you two like the plague poor thing he deserves it this is a great bonding experience for the 3 of you though. BEN started to like you more because of it :3

favorite relationship (non romantic or otherwise) in the hp canon? one thing I love about lionheart is Harry and hermione’s friendship - criminally overlooked in the books imo pidgeonholing hermione into only the “nagging mum” role for so much of it ! these two are siblings!
interesting parameters! my favorite non-romantic relationship in canon is ron and harry, actually. i think that hermione has great friendships with both of them, but the sheer intensity of the bond between ron and harry is unmatched anywhere outside romantic pairings in the books. harry latches onto him basically at first sight and imprints like a baby goose, and goes, "excellent, at last, a Friend; i will now spend all of my time and attention on you Forever." what's that? hungry you say? sad you say? i will buy you All The Food. then draco "definitely homeschooled" malfoy rocks up with his hilariously incompetent friend overtures and harry says right that's cool, but you threw shade at ron, so you can fuck right off forever. i've had this weird little ginger in my life for less than a day and if anything happens to him i'd kill myself. bye.
and ron drinks! it! up! because he's never had it! he's never been First for someone before, and he LOVES it! and he responds by becoming an instant ride-or-die for harry. that's not a reading, either, that's straight up text: in book 3, ron says, verbatim, "if you want to kill harry, you'll have to kill me." and he's thirteen!! takes him about five minutes to get there, too — in the ten weeks they've known each other before christmas break, eleven-year-old ron weasley tells his MOM about his new cool friend, and whatever he writes is so glowingly effusive that molly knits harry a goddamn family sweater (if you knit, you Know) without having stone cold met the kid! not to mention — ron (at eleven! eleven years old, ron weasley!) decides to pass up his only chance to see his parents until june, not to mention missing his family christmas, so he can stay at hogwarts and keep harry company! because harry potter will never be lonely if ron weasley can help it!!
basically. ron and harry are the original platonic soulmates. they ARE the catherine-heathcliff "he's more myself than i am" dig-up-his-grave-so-you-can-lie-in-it type of love. they are each other's destiny and each other's choice.

Happy birthday my dear Diluc.
Tumblr media
Leaning against the window, your gaze wandering to the sky, you wondered what Diluc was doing right now. You hadn't seen him for several days, his work taking up most of his time.
You and Diluc were longtime friends, at least from his point of view. You'd always had a crush on him, but you didn't let it show for fear of destroying the bond between you. You were close, very close. Diluc always treated you with gentleness and courtesy, like a sister, you thought… it was probably better than nothing?
A desperate sigh escaped you as your gaze turned to the small box you had carefully sealed with a ribbon earlier in the day. Today was Diluc's birthday… It was not a festive day for him. His father had died on his eighteenth birthday, his brotherly relationship with Kaeya had been shattered on the same day, as well as his faith and future in the Knights of Favonius.
You grasped the gift package in your hand, caressing the red ribbon tied around it. You brought it to your lips, closing your eyes to picture the face of the man you loved so much. Where was he right now? You wanted to see him, hear him, hold him. Was he replaying past events? A small part of you hoped that he was thinking of you, that he wanted you close to him for this day that was entirely dedicated to him. But it was probably prideful of you to think that way. Diluc may have had a special place in your heart, but that wasn't how he saw you. He had never shown any sign of being attracted to you.
You were too blind.
Not seeing all the signals he was sending you.
All the little touches he was offering you.
You were the only one he looked at. The only one he cherished.
You didn't trust yourself. You thought you were insignificant next to him.
How wrong you were.
You were his treasure. The one who kept him balanced in a constantly dark world.
The sound of flapping wings brought you out of your sad thoughts. Your eyes turned to the window, where a familiar eagle was perched. The one that never left Diluc.
A message was entangled in one of its legs, carefully tied with a string. You carefully untangled it and read it, a smile already on your face as you knew who it was from. As you unfolded it, you could see the delicate handwriting of Diluc, so familiar to you. He always wrote letters to you with the utmost care. You were so used to his pen that you were sure you could tell if a letter was from him without him signing it.
Your eyes roamed over the few words he had eagerly written to you.
"Y/n, meet me at the cemetery. Diluc."
Your fingers had tightened around the paper, crumpling it. Diluc was at his father's grave, alone. The thought pinched your heart. Without thinking, you rushed to your front door, quickly taking a vest with you before stepping out and slamming the door behind you, forgetting about Diluc's gift and his eagle.
You ran through the streets of Mondstadt, narrowly avoiding walkers and stumbling several times on the steps leading to the cathedral. Your heart was beating wildly in your chest. You didn't know exactly what you were feeling at that moment. Was it fear? Anguish? Sadness? Or maybe just the overwhelming need to be with him? By the time you asked yourself all these questions, you had already reached the backyard of the Favonius church, where the Mondstadt cemetery was. You quickly spotted him, standing in front of a grave, his long black coat adorning his back and his familiar red hair.
Diluc.
As you caught your breath, you took the time to admire his figure. In his hand he held a bouquet of lamp grass flowers, the ones his father loved so much. Diluc looked silently at the grave, his eyes clouded with memories. He didn't seem to notice you or his eagle, which had probably left your apartment through the window you had left open in your haste. When the eagle let out a shrill cry to signal its presence to its master, Diluc finally turned his gaze from the grave to the animal he cherished so much. He gently held out his forearm for it to rest on.
"I see that you have conveyed my message well. Do you think she will come? This isn't exactly the ideal place for a date…" - Diluc's voice was soft, barely noticeable. Yet that didn't stop you from hearing it. You smiled as you noticed his relaxed, peaceful expression. With a lighter heart, you tried to approach him without making a sound, which allowed you to delicately steal the bouquet from his hands, surprising him at the same time. His eyes, at first wild with anger, quickly softened at the sight of you. A warm smile lit up his features as he let his bird take flight.
"Thank you for coming y/n."
"It's nothing. I'm glad you invited me to spend this time with you. I'm sorry, I was in such a rush to get to you that I didn't think to buy flowers for your father."
"Don't worry, I don't think he'll be offended." - His gaze was turned to his father's grave. The sadness had disappeared to make way for serenity. After a moment, he looked at you again. The ardor of his gaze made you blush despite yourself. Softly, his hand came to slide along your arm until your wrist, seizing delicately this one before going down to the bouquet of flowers that you had taken to him a little earlier. His gaze had not left the movement of his hand on your skin and a slight blush began to appear on his cheeks. He finally took the bouquet from your hands, taking a few lamp grass to offer them to you. Silence reigned between the two of you, only the sound of the wind beating the leaves of the trees kept you in reality. You wanted to tell him. To confess everything to him.
Diluc, I love you. I have always loved you.
But your lips remained sealed, this was not the time or place to think about that. So instead, you turned to the grave of Crepus Ragnvindr, breaking the visual link with Diluc. You knelt before the grave, silent, before placing the few flowers Diluc had given you. Diluc, in turn, placed his bouquet. You didn't dare look at him, you didn't want him to see the feelings you were expressing. It was suffocating, painful. But wasn't it better to suffer than to lose the friendship that bound you together? You took a moment to breathe before standing up and turning your gaze back to him. His eyes remained fixed on you, so penetrating and warm. You didn't know why the tears were coming to your eyes. Perhaps it was because of that moment of silence at his father's grave? Or maybe it was the thought that Diluc would never be yours?
Diluc's gloved thumb brushed against your tear-dampened cheek. His concerned look made you wish you had held them back.
"Would you mind accompanying me back to my place? I have something for you."
"For me? What's the occasion?"
"It's your birthday, silly. How can you forget something so important?"
"It's not that important."
"It is to me!" - The twinkle in his eyes made you smile. You finally took his hand to guide him home. Although the walk was silent the whole way, the hand squeezing yours made you feel pleasantly good. You weren't used to Diluc showing affection, let alone in public. Yet it was he who was squeezing your hand in his, hard enough to make you feel his warmth, but not hard enough to hurt you. His thumb was constantly playing with your fingers, sometimes tenderly caressing the back of your hand. You didn't know if it was intentional on his part, but you couldn't deny that it felt good. When you finally reached the landing of your apartment, you invited him into your home. This was not the first time he had come. How many times had you welcomed him into your home, wounded by mages from the abyss or exhausted by the workload he had imposed on himself. You had stopped counting, what mattered to you was that he felt at home here. This was difficult at first, knowing his upbringing as well as his nobility of spirit. Diluc was a gentleman, entering your home as he pleased was inconceivable to him, even with so many years of friendship. "I cannot invade your space as I wish. Understand that I'm still a man, Y/n." he had told you the first time you had offered to stay at your house for the night. You never really understood what he meant, or rather, you didn't want to understand. Today, everything had become easier for him. You had always made him feel comfortable, so much so that now he was able to sit on your couch without waiting for your consent. You always had something for him in reserve, in case he decided to come to your house unexpectedly. So he was not surprised when you served him a glass of grape juice and a tray of fruit.
Diluc watched you running around the apartment, finding it adorable that you wanted to please him every time he came over. He couldn't take his eyes off you, thinking about the promise he had made earlier at his father's grave. He wanted to confess his feelings to you. His affection for you had been eating away at him for years, he couldn't stand the childhood friend relationship he had with you. As a child, you considered him as a brother. You probably still do. But Diluc had always seen you as a young girl, gradually growing into the beautiful woman you are today. He burned with love for you. The three years he spent away from Mondstadt made him realize how important you were in his life. He loved you, he always loved you. He hoped that perhaps the feeling was mutual. His eyes turned to the palm of his hand. He could still feel the warmth of your skin there. Diluc closed his eyes, clenching his fist firmly against his thigh. His heart was pounding. He was afraid. Afraid of losing you by admitting his feelings to you.
"Diluc?"
Diluc gasped, quickly opening his eyes and bringing them back to you. You presented him with a small gift box sealed with a ribbon. Diluc looked at it for a long moment before carefully grasping it.
"Happy birthday, Diluc. I hope you like it." - You sat beside him, admiring his every expression.
"You shouldn't have spent your moras on me."
"Don't play dumb, open it!"
Diluc could see the excitement in your eyes and he felt his lips stretch into a wide smile. More than anything else, he loved seeing you laugh, smile. He loved to see you happy, even for such small things. With you, his birthdays had become more bearable. Less painful. Slowly, he tugged on the ribbon's knot, sliding it along the package until it lay on his thighs. When he lifted the lid, he found two chess-like objects inside, one made of white ivory and the other of black. A king and queen in the shape of an owl and an owl.
"These are collectible pieces. I hope you like them." - Diluc didn't answer you, his eyes continuing to admire the detailed workmanship of each piece. You knew of his love for birds and his penchant for chess, and you thought there was nothing better to give him as a birthday present, even if it cost you a month's salary. Only his silence made you doubt. Didn't he like it?
"y/n, they're beautiful. From the quality, I imagine the price of these pieces must have been quite exorbitant… You shouldn't have…"
"Diluc, it's my money, I do what I want with it. If I decide to spend it on you, I will." - You tell him proudly.
"Why are you always so stubborn?" - He answers with a sigh. - "Thanks, I'll take care of it."
Diluc carefully placed the chess pieces back into their box before turning to you. He took your hands in his, slowly bringing them close to his lips. Your cheeks turned incredibly red as your eyes followed his every move. There was a heavy silence between you two. Diluc's eyebrows furrowed as he seemed to think about something. His lips pursed, he gripped your hands a little tighter in his before looking into yours.
"y/n, I have something important to tell you, I would like you to listen to me without interrupting." - You slowly nodded your head, apprehensive about what he was about to tell you. "I know that you and I have known each other since childhood. I've watched you grow up, becoming more and more beautiful, more and more desirable to men. I have seen you become a woman. I know very well that you have always seen me as a brother, but I… I have always looked at you y/n. I love you, I have always loved you. I can't stand this distance imposed by fear, apprehension. I do not ask you to love me in return. I simply want you to realize that in my eyes, you are neither a sister, nor a childhood friend…" - Diluc lifted your face that you had lowered to hide your blush. His warm gaze brought tears to your eyes again. His thumb wiped them away before his lips brushed yours. It was sweet, loving, just as you had both imagined. Seeing that you didn't reject him, Diluc pressed his kiss a little more, his hand coming to rest on the back of your neck to keep you where you are. Your lips performed a more and more sensual waltz, exploring each other's limits. Encouraged by your little moans, Diluc was the first to try an opening with his tongue. Too stunned by your kiss, you didn't feel yourself tipping over onto the couch, Diluc above you continuing to kiss you as if it were the last time he would do so. Your hands came to lose themselves in his hair, savoring its softness.
Please make it all real.
Your arms tightened around Diluc as your mind prayed. It couldn't be real, could it? Diluc lying on top of you, your lips desperately searching for each other. Your legs wrapped around his hips as he pressed himself a little closer to you. You needed to melt into each other. You had been looking for each other for so long, each thinking you were living a one-way love. When Diluc felt his lower abdomen become incredibly sore, he stopped kissing you and looked into your eyes, darkened by lust.
"y/n… Tell me I can go further… I don't want to force you, or push you around. Tell me to stop, and I will." - His look was desperate, as was yours.
"Please prove to me that this is not all a dream." - Diluc breathed in, his hand coming to grasp yours to intertwine his fingers. His lips merged with you again in a passionate kiss while his free hand was busy undoing your clothes. It wasn't long before she managed to strip you completely, stepping back to admire your naked body.
"You're beautiful…"- In turn, you straightened up to help him remove his clothes. As soon as his muscular torso was exposed to you, your hungry hands came to explore it, languidly caressing his abs, waist, chest and arms. Diluc was simply perfect, just as you had imagined… He patiently let you discover him before attacking his pants, enjoying the softness of your hands on his skin. His eyes did not leave you of the glance, hypnotized by your movements sometimes hesitant, but exploratory. He would sometimes take your wrist to bring your hand to an area you had not yet claimed. He was patient, incredibly patient. But you weren't. Diluc grunted in surprise when he felt your hands undo the waistband of his pants, then pull at the fabric of his underwear to free his already incredibly hardened member. He was big, perhaps too big for you, and that scared you a little.
"Ah-Di-Diluc I don't know if I could…"
"Shh… Let me prepare you properly. Trust me, I wouldn't do anything to hurt you y/n"
You gently nodded, obediently letting Diluc lay you back on the couch. He finished removing his clothes before positioning himself over you. His hair strands came to tickle your face and as your eyes gazed at each other with consuming passion, your hand came to caress his strands, adjusting them behind his ear. Diluc leaned into your hand, closing his eyes for a moment to savor the intimate touch.
"I love you Diluc." - He instantly opened his eyes to look at you. You could read all the love he had for you in them, his warm smile made your heart beat faster. Diluc buried his face in the crook of your neck, placing passionate kisses on it. His hands explored your body. The sound of his palm smoothing your skin filled your ears, warming your waist before moving up to your chest, sensually massaging your breasts. His fingers warmed the hardened tips of your nipples chilled by the cold air of the living room. You could feel his hips rubbing against you as his member brushed against your entrance in a slow back and forth motion. Diluc relished the taste of your skin, licking and sucking on every inch he could reach. When his lips found the hardened tip of your nipple, he decided to occupy his hands differently. One spread your leg further apart, while the other tended to your lower region, caressing your entrance already coated with your natural lubricant. Diluc grunted softly against you as his fingers touched your sensitive nerve. You were already squirming underneath him, begging him to penetrate you with his fingers. Your lover pulls back, a charming smile on his lips as he watches your face. He finally stops torturing you, slowly burying his middle finger inside you. It was soft and smooth to the touch, and Diluc couldn't help but tremble as he thinks about what it will be like when he enters you. He began a slow back and forth motion, seeking out the places that made you moan his name. As soon as he felt you trembling under his touch, he knew he had found your G-spot. Gradually, he added a finger with the first and then a third, opening you up enough for him. You couldn't take it anymore, your legs were shaking, you needed to feel him inside you, against you. You wanted to kiss him while he made you his, you wanted to be one with him. An unknown warmth was rising in your lower abdomen, forcing your hands to come and clasp around your lover's arms. Diluc could feel it, too, and he sped up his hand movements to bring you the release your body so eagerly craved. He leaned into you, joining his lips to yours, as you came on his fingers that continued their languid back and forth until you calmed down.
His eyes were fixed on you as you caught your breath. Diluc slowly withdrew his fingers from you before standing up to look for something in his coat pocket.
"Diluc?" - When he found it, he quickly returned to you to show you what he held in his hand. A condom. - "Oh… So you had planned this?" - You say with a little tease. You suspected that no, it wasn't Diluc's style, but nevertheless, it caused an indecent blush on his cheeks.
"It wasn't me, it was that weasel Kaeya who slipped it into my pocket when I passed him at the cemetery. By the time I realized it, he was already away from me, yelling at me that it was a special gift…" - You laughed at Diluc's embarrassed expression. You knew he was probably inwardly calling his brother every name he knew.
"That's a pretty good gift idea." - You whispered to him as your hands grasped his face and gently brought it to your lips. Diluc relented, panting into your kiss. Reluctantly, he pulled away from you, hastily opening the condom to slide it down his member. Diluc came back to you, grabbing your thigh and placing it in the crook of his arm. You could feel him positioning himself at your entrance, barely entering before he leaned into you, his lips brushing against yours.
"Tell me if this hurts…" - He whispered to you as he began to sink in. He was tall, and much wider than you could accommodate inside you. Your nails dug into his shoulders as a sharp pain washed over you as Diluc penetrated you. His face was covered in sweat, his expression frozen. You were so tight around him that he couldn't stop soft grunts of pleasure from coming out of his throat each time he pushed a little deeper into you. Your first orgasm made the penetration easier and less painful than you had anticipated, and as soon as Diluc reached the bottom, he dropped onto you, panting heavily as his body shook with pleasure. "Finally… You're finally mine… I've wanted you for so long, y/n." - His words made you clench around him, causing him to moan with pleasure once again. Diluc straightened up on his forearm so he could place languid kisses on your lips. Your legs wrapped around his hips as your hands gripped his hair and smoothed his sweaty back. Diluc's hips began to move of their own accord, slowly penetrating you as his lips continued their sensual dance with you. Having him inside you was like a dream come true. He was so well designed for you, filling you perfectly. His sex was divinely touching that spot deep inside you that made you moan with pleasure every time he rocked his hips. You and Diluc continued to kiss for a long time, his languid movements continuing to make you see the stars. Gradually, his undulations began to accelerate, becoming harder as he did so. His hips slammed against you, making the sounds of your lovemaking echo through the room. Diluc pulled away from your lips, gritting his teeth to keep from moaning openly. His eyes remained focused on the expressions of well-being you were making, as you moaned with happiness. He never thought he would hear you scream his name with such ardor and passion. His hands came to plant themselves in the skin of your hips as he straightened up to better penetrate you. This new angle was perfect, allowing Diluc to take his entire member inside you. His strokes became harder and faster. He could feel your walls closing in around him as you moved closer to release. Feeling himself close to the edge, Diluc couldn't hold his voice any longer, moaning praise and your name over and over until your orgasm trapped him in a vice of pure pleasure. Diluc continued to pound you until he himself reached his end.
He collapsed gently onto you, his hips continuing to make small circular movements. His lips sought yours, begging for your attention. Your hands on his cheeks, you pulled him to you, eager for his lips. Your kiss was delicate, slower and savory. Now that you had claimed each other, you could live in the moment. Diluc stopped moving, but he didn't separate himself from you. He was still hard inside you, and you wondered if this was something common to all men. Finally, he pulled his lips away, looking at you with his red eyes. His forehead pressed against yours.
"You are my greatest gift…" - He whispered to you, moved.
"I love you Diluc. Happy birthday." - You answered him, just as moved as he was. He kissed you again in response, his hips slowly moving back and forth.
His birthday had taken on a more savory flavor.
You were the most precious gift he had ever received.

To Those Lost and To Those Who Remain Trigun Ace Week Prompt 6: Found Family / Queerplantonic Relationships [IMG ID: Black and white image with grayscale background. From left-hand to right-hand in the background - silhouettes of Meryl Stryfe, Vash the Stampede and Milly Thompson. In the foreground is Wolfwood's wrapped Punisher, a massive weapon in the shape of a cross covered in fabric and belts. It leans as if placed as a headstone to a grave. Digital painting done in Corel Photo Paint / END IMG ID] With any family, blood or found, loss and grief are a part of it. Once upon a time, an improbably-pacifist gunslinger, a pair of insurance agents / disaster investigators and a priest/assassin formed tight bonds and a strange little family together. By the end of their story, one of them was gone, leaving those who remained with the memories. This piece was done and scheduled to post as it has a reality-subtext for me. On this day, January 19th, 2023, I lost a vital member of my own found family. My partner, his adult nephew and I were three geeks in a pod - and then we learned that our nephew had died suddenly. He'd had some health problems, but he had been getting better and his heart just giving out on him wasn't something we'd expected. Matt was the one who told me that Trigun, which he knew I was a nut for, was getting a reboot and one of the little things I miss is the fact that we didn't get to talk about it together, even though his classic anime reboot of choice was the new Lupin III. Matt loved Eevees and Transformers, dogs, cooking shows and good food. He has been missed every day. _ This piece is not so much a memorial to him as it is just a fulfilment of one of the prompts for Trigun Ace Week (regarding the importance of found families), but I chose to do something sad and regarding memorials. Vash, Meryl and Milly met Wolfwood and from then on out, their lives were never going to be the same. Their lives shaped his and his life shaped theirs. The rest of the odd little family remains, and this is a tribute to their remaining bonds. The price of love is grief. We keep those we love alive in the countless ways they affected us.

Moondrunk Monster pt 2 (ghost x reader)
You're a retired combat medic that made a mistake, costing you your cushy office job. As punishment, you're sent to an active war zone, where you meet the 141, a squad of werewolves that slowly accept you as their own. (I know, I know I'm bad at summarizing)
this fic has me writing five thousand words in one (1) day, I am obsessed. you can find pt 1 here
Warnings: um violence. Ghost being a weirdo.
Tumblr media
Part 2
After that day, things changed for you.
Gaz was healed within a day, coming to visit you with a Snickers bar as thanks. “I’ve been saving it for an occasion,” he said. “Wolves…well, we can’t really have chocolate without quite a bit of pain so I thought I would give it to you instead. As thanks.”
“All I did was my job, Gaz,” you said, patting his shoulder in a motherly fashion.“There’s no need to thank me.”
Gaz raised a brow. “The other medics would have let me bleed out, doc, I’m here because of you.” You accepted the Snickers and his thanks, thinking that would be the end of it. But 141 seemed to think you were apart of their squad now, clustering around you at the lunch table like so many guard dogs, following you out into the thick of the desert whenever you and the other medics had to pick up supplies from the routine airdrops, holding down flailing patients for you while you sewed up gashes and cauterized missing limbs.
Captain Graves called it pack bonding. It was common with their kind, and partially the reason why the military liked wolves in their ranks.
You appreciated it in your own way. Soldiers respected you a little more now, the fearless medic that gave her own blood to a wolf.
Lunch today was a mess of shepherd's pie and a tin of pineapples–not bad considering the beans and sausage of yesterday. You sat at the nearest empty table, uncapping a bottle of water.
Within a minute Soap was tumbling into the spot in front of you, a plate of raw meat in his hand. Wolves couldn’t survive on human food alone, so the military made special adjustments.
The adjustments were freezing slabs of raw beef and plating it up still half-frozen. Even supersoldiers didn’t get special treatment.
“Hey, lass,” Soap said, nudging your foot with his own. “Mind passing me a bottle?” You nodded, reaching behind you for the cases of water while the rest of 141 took a seat, Ghost uncomfortably close on your left. He was odd like that, not seeming to mind human customs like personal space like the others did.
“You never said where you were from, lass,” Soap said, the beginner of conversation as always. He looked at you, blue eyes twinkling. “Bet I could guess.”
You rolled your eyes. “It’s not a hard one.” “Texas.”
“Not everyone in America lives in Texas, Soap.”
“Florida.”
“Not Florida either.”
“Fine, what is it?” Soap took a bite of flank steak, the noise making you shudder.
Ghost turned to make quiet conversation with Price, his thick thigh pressing into yours.
You smiled. “A small town in Oklahoma.” “Bloody hell, that’s just Texas.” “Those are fightin’ words where I’m from,” you said, pointing your fork at him. “You’re lucky I’m too hungry to care.”
Soap barked a laugh. “Oh please, you look like you’ve never been in a fight in your life, bonnie.”
“You know, I was a combat medic back in the day–a proper one,” you said dryly, taking a bite of pie. “I was in the Berlin Incident of 2013, and there were plenty of body parts and wolves flying around in that one.”
The table stilled, eyes going to you. The Berlin Incident was an infamous bloodbath–you still have nightmares about it.
Price blew a breath, looking thoughtful. “That was…you couldn’t have been more than, what, eighteen?” “Nineteen. I wasn’t even supposed to be there, but…” you shrugged. “Orders are orders, right?”
“Why’d you stop doing it then?” Soap asked, a man that has never shied away from uncomfortable questions. “You must’ve been experienced by the time you could order a beer at a bar.”
Ghost was stiff beside you, watching you eat. Humans would look away, but he never does.
They were memories from a different life. The days of crouching under gunfire with a fistfuls of gauze and adrenaline only resurfaced in dreams. “How honest do you want me to be?” You asked wryly. It wasn’t a memory you liked to remember, especially not surrounded by wolves.
“As honest as you want to.” Soap ripped off another bite, the sound eerily reminiscent of teeth crunching on bone.
“I was mauled.” You peel back part of your shirt, showing the heavy scarring on your collar. “It wasn’t his fault, really, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It took a year for me to be back on my feet and by then…I was ready for some peace and quiet.”
It was a year of physical therapy and healing, struggling against the infections that come with a wolf bite.
Soap stared, unabashed, until you tucked the scars away. He was silent for a long moment, tapping his fork against the table. “You saved my life after one of us did that to you?” Gaz said, cocking a brow. “You must be forgiving.” Ghost shifted, his hand coming up to grip the collar of your shirt. He pulled it down slightly, just barely showing the tip of the scarring.
And you let him, because…well, you don’t know why you let him.
He was wearing gloves, as always, but they were warm when he pressed them against the scars, fitting his fingers into the obvious claw marks.
The 141 was silent, watching Ghost with a mixture of surprise and horror. Price looked as if he were about to intervene, his knuckles white around his fork.
You wondered what exactly Ghost’s file looks like, how many cases of human aggression to make his squad this antsy.
“Why didn’t it kill you?” Ghost asked, the first words he had said to you that day.
Christ, they never pull their punches do they? “He stopped,” you said blandly, your breath catching at the feeling of fingers pressing into your skin. “Like I said, it wasn’t on purpose. Once he realized what he did, he carried me to the nearest medic.”
Ironically, the two of you were still friends to this day. He liked to send you a funeral arrangement and a birthday card every year, writing glad you’re still alive, doc under the Happy Birthday.
Donny always had an odd sense of humor.
It helped that he wasn’t wearing his human face when he did it, it helped you separate the man from the wolf whenever you thought about that terrifying thirty seconds of blood and teeth–bones crunching, skin tearing, muscle turned to crimson thread.
Ghost tugged your shirt collar back into place, oddly gentle. “You’re tougher than you look, love,” he said, turning back to his food with an air of finality.
“Thank you, sir,” you said, like a good soldier.
It felt like approval. You hated that you liked it.
There were times when you couldn’t sleep, so you would sit beside the lip of your tent with a lamp and a book as your patients of the night slept peacefully, some aided by morphine.
The 141 tent was empty, its inhabitants deep in the desert on Graves’ whim. You worried about them, in your own way, thinking about what would have happened if they hadn’t gotten Gaz to you in time.
They were still strangers to you, but the base felt too quiet without them, and your skin felt bare without Ghost’s stare upon it.
That was becoming a problem. He watched you constantly since that day in the mess hall, watching you work, eat, speak, uncanny in his faded mask.
If he were a man, you would think he was into you. You’re a medic, you’ve had several star-eyed soldiers follow you around like ducklings after you dug a bullet out of them, but never like this. Never a wolf.
You didn’t know what to think.
When you asked Soap about it, he shrugged and said, “Lass, Ghost is as strange as they come. Someone messed about with his brain a couple years ago, a nasty bit of torture, he hasn’t been right ever since.”
“Should I be concerned?” You asked, feeling sympathy unfurl the knot in your gut. Neurological problems made sense, explaining the staring issue and the lack of social awareness.
Soap shook his head. “He’s not the type to hurt women, doc, human or otherwise. He may seem a little rough around the edges but I’ve known him for a long time–he’s one of my best mates.” That wasn’t saying much. As much as you liked him, Soap didn’t have many rules in the ways of morality, he liked war because he liked killing, he liked being able to chase and hunt with the legal license permitting him to do so.
You talk to Ghost sometimes, when he decides to bring a cup of tea over when the both of you can’t sleep. You didn’t bother to tell him that you don’t like tea, because it seems rude and maybe it would stop him coming to see you completely, so you drained the cup and told yourself you’ve developed a taste for it.
Generally, he listened as you spoke. He was a good listener, paying attention as you talked about home–how it snowed sometimes, during the winter. How hot the summers would get, heat coming off the cornfields in a red haze.
Your family, that you saw three times a year, two weeks each time if you could swing it.
You didn’t know why you told him these things, something about the way he paid attention to you made you feel like you had to fill up the silence, otherwise he might swallow you whole.
Could wolves even be attracted to human women?
You knew that you were strangely attracted to him, to his height, his eyes, the gruff rumble of his voice, the way he commanded fear and respect. But was his…fascination attraction or something else?
You’ve heard of wolves that like to eat their prey. You don’t like to believe rumors or myths but Ghost makes you believe them, a little bit.
You shifted to another side of your hip, adjusting the book in your lap. The night was cool and quiet, the moon above only a few days before being full.
A full moon always meant trouble, with or without wolves.
It didn’t affect them like in the stories of moon-crazed madness. It was more like a calling, an urge to be bare-skinned and free under the moon. Danny used to say it was like being high, all he wanted to do was dance and eat and fuck.
You imagined Ghost, in his massive, graceful body dancing, and smiled to yourself.
You reached into your pocket for a package of powdered donuts, another gift from a grateful patient. She had gotten her leg blasted with an explosive, and you had just barely managed to salvage it, though she had a long road to follow before she would be able to walk again.
Maybe they weren’t healthy, but they were sweet and soft and reminded you of the days that you would sit in a boat with your grandfather, chicken liver hooked to your fishing pole as you waited for the catfish to bite. You were so young then, powdered sugar on your fingers as you begged your grandfather to let you try a sip of his coffee.
You were on your third one when 141 came home, slipping from the guarded gates to return to their tent for showers and a meal. You waved, smiling at Price when he nodded to you.
Soap broke off from the pack to ruffle your hair with his dirty hands, accepting a donut when you offered one. “You always have the best snacks, bonnie,” he said, winking as he slunk away to shower.
Ghost followed soon enough, approaching warily like a feral cat. You smiled at him too, offering him the last donut of the pack. “You’re back, sir.”
He nodded, taking the donut and staring at it as if he was unsure what to do with it.
“I’ll look away,” you said, turning your face to the courtyard. You figured the mask had something to do with the torture Soap mentioned, either scarring or trauma–though most of the time they were one and the same.
You heard him sigh, then a rustle of fabric as he pulled up the mask and took a bite. You hide a smile. “It’s good, yeah? Processed American bullshit, sir.”
Ghost hummed, then came the unmistakable sound of licking the sugar off his fingers. There had also been blood on his fingertips, from the night’s previous activities.
You don’t want to think about why that makes your belly clench.
“Couldn’t sleep, love?” He asked, mask safely back over his mouth. He tilted his head, unintentionally predatory.
You shook your head, your hand coming up to rub at your shoulder. It aches on cold nights, bleeding memories of teeth scraping against bones. “No, it’s just…old wounds, I guess.”
Ghost shoved his hand into his pocket, drawing something out carefully. It was a notebook, clean of gore and muck, a small blue pen stuck into the spiral binding.
He offered it to you and you took it, because somehow you could never refuse him.
“Saw you scribbling on napkins,” Ghost said, jerking his head to the mess on your desk. “Thought this would do a better job.” Unexpectedly, you’re delighted. You had been looking for a notepad, having not had enough time to pack yours back at your previous base. You liked to sketch, to draw the people and places around you–it made things seem realer, less like a dream.
“Thank you, sir,” you said, smiling and flipping it open. The pages are bare. “I’ve been looking for one.”
“You’re welcome, love.” “That reminds me, sir, I’ve got a joke for you.”
“And what’s that?”
“What do you call an Australian visiting England on vacation?” You can almost imagine him cocking a brow, his silence expectant.
“Returning to the scene of the crime,” You laughed at your own joke, unable to help yourself. Soap had helped you come up with that one.
Ghost’s eyes are creased behind the pale, cracked skull of his mask. You think he might be smiling. “Christ, pet, that was awful.” You tucked the notebook to your chest. “Had to repay you in some way, sir. Feel free to use it in the future.” “Negative, love.” Ghost turned to disappear into his tent, unstrapping the heavy duty vest over his chest. You laughed again, picking yourself off the ground with a little less weight on your chest.
