i haven't actually talked about it much but i really like ebenholz and lessing. they truly have everything. dainty prince and rough knight. sheltered idiot and guy tired of his shit. spellcaster and melee fighter. loyalty out of obligation contrasted with loyalty out of choice. guy who has migraines and guy who shoves painkillers in his mouth. snark and straight man. meet-cute involving presumed attempted murder. the inherent homoeroticism of holding a sword to another man's neck. talking ebenholz out of his suicidal episode by being so blunt it fixes him. as a huge fan of lingering echoes eben and kreide will always be iconic to me but it's a real testament to how good zwillingstrume is that it sold me on eben and lessing's dynamic with just one event. i hope they reappear later down the line as a buddy-cop duo and i hope they have a great time at the next MCR concert together

I want us to go back to when Jim Gordon's connection with Batman was legitimately a secret/seriously frowned down upon. Aside from legal reasons (Batman's not a cop and the affiliation opens up a whole can of legal worms), it makes for a more suspenseful backdrop to their interactions, goofy getaway scenarios and meeting locations. And later, when they include Harvey it'd be so much funnier to have him kidnapped from his office (with Harv's only reaction: "About time."). Still thinking about how Clover on the No Mercy Route likely would've given up their quest for vengeance and lived with Martlet had Axis not told them that he killed Integrity. The only real difference between Aborted No Mercy Run Clover and No Mercy Run Clover are a few more destroyed robots and the knowledge of what Axis did, which sent their LOVE skyrocketing to LV 19.

mishanks mafia au where shanks is the don of the gol family and and mihawk is a hitman hired by the government (it's a conspiracy!) to kill shanks.

when mihawk shows up, shanks puts up a great fight, and even tho shanks loses (he's on the ground with hawk's blade at his throat!), mihawk decides shanks is way funner than the government and doesn't kill him after all. mihawk intends for this to be the end, with exception for perhaps more fights in the future, but shanks has already fallen on love and starts trying his damndest to get mihawk to work for the gols.

mihawk always refuses, but when the government puts out a hit on mihawk because he broke contract, mihawk finds himself thoroughly protected by the gol family anyways. shanks, however, doesn't save mihawk fast enough to spare the hitman some torture so, in retaliation, shanks brings down the entire government and exposes the conspiracy while he's at it, with the finale being a grand announcement that mihawk is his, actually, back the fuck off and don't try this again.

by the end, mihawk still doesn't work for the gols, but if he marries into the family, well. "there's still a difference, red." (shanks whines about this daily.)

Word count on the new chapter currently around 1.3k, I haven't written in a few days bc I wasn't feeling all that well, and while mapping out the things I might want to include in chapter 3, I had the thought that I might want to edit and change some parts of the previous chapters (mainly speaking, modifying the familial terms from English to Farsi) because... well Areyan will gain another brother and him calling them both “brother” will get confusing real fast especially when Isfan himself is also calling Shapur “brother” and things like “brother Isfan” and “brother Gieve” do NOT flow well in English and they feel so awkward. Also I can't say I know enough about English familial terms to do like cutesy nickname-like modifications on the familial terms like “uncle” and “brother”. There's “grandmama” but... y'know......

It's not as though I speak Farsi, far from it, I'm mainly relying on Wiktionary AND the r/farsi subreddit. I submitted a question there and everyone was really helpful!

I don't know. It's just something I've been thinking a little about recently. I would like to hear y'all's opinions.
