experiencing a fun new bug in firefox where when i want to upload a picture and go into "recent folders" and double click a folder, it tries to read the folder itself as if it were an image or file being uploaded, unsurprisingly throws an error, then reloads me into the gallery folder instead

it does not do this for any other folders, of course, just "recent folders"

The JL(D) is up against an otherworldly and annoyingly powerful foe. Batman, Hal GL, Constantine, and Deadman (through a series of mishaps and miscommunications) have teamed up together for this one. They’re taking refuge in the House of Mystery, brainstorming how they’re going to take this enemy down after numerous failed attempts.

Out of nowhere, Deadman mentions that there might be someone who can help them. Constantine immediately rejects the idea.

Constantine: We are NOT calling him, Brand. End of discussion.

Deadman: Okay, I am not letting your weirdo debts get in the way of taking down a bad guy. Not again. I’m calling him.

Constantine: Then you can count me out of this shitty crusade!

btw, Dante Limbus Company is a subversion of the tropes of gacha protagonists. I've touched before on how they have some common traits for the type going on, like their facelessness, androgyny, and amnesia, but unlike many other RPG protagonists they have their own internal monologue and basically no player input in their dialogue or other choices. In other words they're the player character, but not a player insert.

also like just about every game protagonist, Dante has a special power that makes them unique in the world of the game, but unlike many gachas where the protagonist's special-ness has got everyone within a 500-mile radius down to fuck them, their power is what causes them to be dehumanized and treated like a tool. Don't get me wrong I love shipping Dante with the Sinners as much as anyone but it's the fact that the Sinners don't love them just because they're the protagonist, that all of these relationships started out rocky because the Sinners are all deeply traumatized people in an unpleasant situation, that causes the drama that makes the interactions interesting.

In other words: @ addle-headed gacha-brains on Reddit and Youtube - your waifu isn't going to fuck you because Dante isn't you.
