I might invest in a lazy boy style recliner chair. Idk if I'd have room for it in my room tho. I've laid in them before and have definitely felt better. Any suggestions?

(❁´▽`❁)#it's been a very warm autumn in Germany so far so it has not really felt like fall yet #but yesterday it was all rainy and stormy and I had two new books and it was the best day possible to have a slimey cough (:#and now I feel SO much autumn I am close to buying a set of window colors #I do not know what I would to with the window colors I just have this strong urge in me to buy a window color set #the last time I did a window color was at the birtday of a class mate I think she turned 9 and I made a deer #but for some reason we did this craft 5 minutes before we all had to leave so we had to carry our window color deer home wet #unfortunatly for the deer and me I fell down the stairs of her house and smeared the deer all over me and i screamed the entire drive home #which wasn't very long but it probably felt very long for the mother who had a screaming child covered in window color deer inside her car

I need codependent Danny/Jason as a little treat (for me) and I love the idea of them having some sort of instant connection the moment they meet (bc ghost stuff idk)

Danny who's been dropped in Gotham with no way home (alt universe??) and he's been here for 36 hours and having a Very bad time senses a liminal being and immediately latches onto them heedless of the fact that his new best friend is shooting at some seedy guys in an alley and goes off about how stressed he is and how he can't make it back to the ghost zone and what a bad day he's been having (and it's important to note Danny is a littol ghost boy literally hanging off of Jason's neck as he floats aimlessly) and Jason is like "who are you??" And Danny is like "oh sorry I'm Danny lol" and then just continues lamenting his woes

And honestly ? This might as well happen. Nothing about this Danny guy(is he human?) gives Jason a bad vibe and tbh he's never felt more calm and level headed before so he just keeps up his usual Red Hood patrol and doesn't even think about it when he heads back to a safehouse and feeds Danny dinner (breakfast) before crashing for half the day

The only thing I actually need is Jason meeting up with the bats for some sort of Intel meeting and they're like "uhhh who's that" and Jason is like "that's Danny." And does not elaborate (very ".... What do you have there?" "A smoothie" vibes)

And it takes them a while to realize that these two have known each other for less than 12 hours and are literally attached at the hip

Side note i discovered a small customer service hack

sometimes when I gotta scan a book a small child picked out, toddlers who think I'm just taking it from them might get stressed out or start to cry cuz they don't understand what's happening

But I figured out--since children love sound effects--if I say something like "it's okay, it's just gonna go "Beep!" Then I'll hand it right back to you! Ready?" And then I scan it. And it seems to go over better. They're intrigued by the noise

Yesterday this toddler was on the verge of tears when his mom had him hand me his book but then I did this maneuver and he broke into a huuuge grin when the scanner beeped. I'm literally some kind of sorcerer

#kids are awesome itll be a shame if my sibling never has kids cuz id love to be an aunt/uncle but never want any of my own #theyre just people who are very small and scared its easy to empathize i think

Okay hello all! Update time!

My dad has one final step of his treatment which is a bone marrow transplant. This process will remove the bone marrow from his body, blast the shit outta his remaining cells and hopefully kill the rest of his cancer.

The procedure will have my dad hospitalized for a month with a 24/7 caregiver (aka my mom lol) and afterwards he'll have to stay home for 3 months away from absolutely everyone in order to recover bc hell be severely immonocompromized and have to get all his vaccines all over again (like a big Ole adult baby)

this procedure is expensive and the cost of my parents living at the hospital so far is not at all covered - this money would go to paying bills, paying the hospital stay cost and procedure cost and paying for food and such as it'll just be me and my brother keeping the pets alive home alone
