I wanna write!!

Hello again! Ive just been lurking tumblr for a loooong few months and recently there was a rather large personal change for the worse in my life so ive been reading a TON of rwby fanfictions and little text/dialogue fics (idk what to call them but i ADORE them!!!) But recently ive finished most of them zz... i wanna try writing my own fics for all y'all!! I have no writing experience for this stuff other than some stuff on my account i wrote years ago... but shoot me a pm or an ask and id love to try and whip something up for you! I just need something to take my mind off my life and this seemed like a good way to do it... also im gonna try just writing fics ab jaune and others because hes who im most familiar with and i LOVEE HIM!! :D

A warm autumn evening had slowly crept towards its days end as Pyrrha Nikos sat in wait for her husband jaune to return home. A myriad of fall tones had painted themselves across the landscape, cascading through the open curtains and onto the wooden floor. She looked longingly over the room at her old suit of armour, watching the flicker of the fireplace bounce off her gleaming metal circlet until a familiar head of hair came walking up the cobblestone path. Jaune had been away on a particularly dangerous mission this time, Pyrrha was fraught with worry every night wondering about the chance of him never coming home again. The chance she'd be left alone to raise their coming child. Passing her hand over her outstretched stomach, she continued to watch jaune get closer to their house. Pyrrha had passed up her life as a huntress for the past few years to try and settle down with the man she loved at beacon, losing the glamour of fighting was worth it for her so she could watch the tiny life inside her bloom into an aspiring huntress as well. Having her stay at home to ready their house and jaune take higher paying missions since accomplishing himself as a huntsman meant they could make the small life of their child as memorable and comfortable as possible. Trying as hard as she could to contain her smile, pyrrha squirmed in her chair as she heard jaunes trademark thump thump thump stumble as he fell up their old stairs. The door creaked open as he pushed his way inside and managed to close on only the second try. Pyrrha stood up to try and surprise jaune before he came round the corner but her clumsy partner had already thrown all his gear on the floor and was speed walking towards her. Minding her stomach, she threw her arms around him before even saying a word, letting her flowing crimson hair get caught up in his chestplate.

    “Yeah… i missed you too, Pyrrha. Every single day” jaune said with a smile before putting his hands on her shoulders, sizing up and taking a good look at her to refresh his memory.

    After cleaning himself up and enjoying a long missed buffet of Pyrrha’s home style cooking, jaune was snuggled up in a blanket, enjoying the comforting aura of his wife. He had connected his scroll to the T.V. and was watching his recorded video journals he had made at the end of each day he was away, recounting the events he had been in. jaune reached over and clasped Pyrrha's own hand in his, comforting her while resting them on top of her stomach. They spent the rest of the evening whispering sweet nothings into each others ears as the sun slept for the day, and until jaunes own sun slept along with it. Her gentle breathing caressed his neck as she rest her head against his, tingling like a surge of electricity up his back. Witha reluctant sigh, jaune picked pyrrha up and bridal carried her to their bed, setting her gently upon her back. He ran his hand across her face and moved it down to her stomach, kissing her on the forehead until he turned to leave. Jaune spent the next hour sitting on his front porch, scraping his nails along the step that caused him to trip countless times, recounting his every moment he spent with his love, pyrrha.

What do you think the chances are of Freezerburn becoming canon? What they've done in the show is just SUCH ship fuel, and I'm scared we're going to get our shipper hearts crushed. ;n;

Mm. This one’s a toughie, because I know the writers can take it anywhere and turn whatever is going on between Weiss and Yang in a different direction. So far, with past relationships on the show - well they were all very obvious. We had Pyrrha helping/pining over Jaune who didn’t notice her and it took probably two/three volumes for him to actually notice. (I want to say 2 volumes because dance dance infiltration seems like the episode where he was like “oh pyrrha DOESN’T get all the boys…” I could be really wrong on this though. ALSO NOTE THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL QUOTE) And of course we have that death kiss send off of Pyrrha finally admitting…so how am I trying to relate this to Freezerburn?

Well, for one, I’m hoping it’ll be done a little differently from our only canonically seen (romantic) feelings. (IE the paragraph above) ((I know we have Renora, but we don’t have a clear definition of what their relationship is. It’s never strictly stated even though I’d really like that ship to go canon. )) This ship fuel that has been given, as I have stated before is more like a “Let’s plant the seed.” or as EP4 states “Lighting the Fire.” (Isn’t it ironic that Nora says “What went and warmed your heart?” when they reunited? Symbolically, I feel like the title and the question connect.) So here, we’re probably just seeing the two girls finally connect in a way that they’ve needed to connect for so long. 

Like JaunexPyrrha we have Weiss helping out Yang. Now, what I’m hoping for is that after the full reunion, Yang with the help of Weiss can finally move on from Blake. (I refuse to believe that Yang did not have some sort of feelings for her as they’re very obvious, but said feelings have been one-sided if we are speaking romantically.) Hopefully, we can watch Yang ‘Ignite’ once more and finally see that Weiss has been there all along and can start trusting and be comforted as I would like to see them work together more. If we’re looking at the team split off’s we have RNJR, BS, and then WY. So it just feel like that split off could continue. Although, after Volume 5 that’ll probably change. 

Though, due to all this shipper fuel - I feel like we’ll still see bits and pieces (honestly, I’m hoping for more than that) of WY doing things together. I refuse to believe that all this Freezerburn that has been so obviously shoved into our faces with tender lighting, sweet and touching moments, heart-felt background songs that set the mood, will lead to nowhere.

I HAVE to believe that this all means something. 

I’m also adding that I hope that these feelings and moments slowly become mutual, instead of one pining after the other. I’m kind tired of that seeing as it was done with Pyrrha, and if Nora IS in love with Ren then that’s just two ‘couples’ that have pined over their partner without clear cut admittance. 

Weiss and Yang have the chance to connect through emotions and their experiences which I feel like can help them grow. Together. I just need to see them continuously be support systems, and not just one-sided support systems, if I can see that they are together and they work together as a unit and NOT just for fighting but for feelings and understanding one another as the volumes go further into the plot - I will consider that a win. So far, what we’ve seen is really good.

So I think we have a chance, but anon, we never know man. We never know.
