Idea for all you pagans and witches out there: If you get Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormons or those sorts knocking at your door, instead of politely turning them away, don on your most witchy, out-there, non-christian-friendly accessories and attire and open the door.

Be cheerful and welcoming! Say you’re more then open to chat about spirituality, take their pamphlets, try to show them any books of your own you have, hell, even invite them inside for a cup of tea by your altar to Odin.

I'm watching this video about how Jehovah witnesses treat women, and it was worse than I imagined. Like, there was this song called 'Guard Our Hearts,' and they changed it to 'We Guard Our Hearts' because they didn't like the idea of a woman telling a man what to do. And even sons have more authority than their mothers. The age to be baptized is like 10, and a 10 year old can teach 60 year old women, but those women can't teach him.

Oh that is horrifying, it's patriarchy on steroids. I can't imagine how awful it feels living like this is normal, like males all ages have authority over women all ages. My heart goes out to the women, I know they feel in their hearts its wrong.

Humans are technically animals, right?

To be a Jehovahs Witness is a confusing task. They're not really supposed to celebrate any holiday that isn't centered around Jesus (hence no birthdays, New Years, April Fools, etc.), but even then they don't celebrate Easter or Christmas, the holidays typically centered around Jesus in today's time because of it's Pagan roots. which then if you're not celebrating holidays with Pagan roots, you're not celebrating any Christian holiday at all, because Christians are thieves.

(Also if you're Christian and seeing this, absolutely no hate to you specifically for the religion you follow. I would never do that.)

Although, Jehovahs Witnesses do celebrate "celebrations" such as weddings, anniversaries, and funerals (which personally I don't think should be filed under celebrations, it's a day for grief, not celebration), but they don't consider birthdays to be a celebration, but instead a holiday. As if the entire world knows of your existence.

Something I personally find funny, in the list of "serious sins", you have the regular religious "sins" like homosexuality, drug use, adultery, things like that, and the classics gluttony and greed, but you also have:

- Not premarital sex, but specifically oral and anal (which I think might be more centered around gay men cause, let's be honest, they're the target focus of homosexuality in religions).

- Boxing??? For some reason?? Like the sport???

- Going into the military.

- Hardcore pornography. Not exactly sure what counts as hardcore, but other pornography is fine, I guess.

- And both cybersex and phonesex. You are not allowed to sext.

It is also frowned upon for Jehovahs Witnesses to go to college (with the exception of a few courses I think) because it increases your chances of being called into Bethel, which is an organization of offices based in Warwick, New York compiled of people watching over other Jehovahs Witnesses in various countries, basically acting as God. So basically, you go to college, you get called into the big bad office and get reprimanded by 6 committees, I assume collectively.

I just had not one serotonin boost but THE serotonin boost.

So like. I'm on the way to school, right? And outside of the trainstation, there are two Jehovas Witnesses people. I try to ignore them (like pretty much everyone there) but they keep staring at me VERY disapprovingly and also a little sadly. Like, oh no, it's gonna burn in hell, and there's nothing we can do! (Except that they would misgender me) It was probably the pride pins, skull shoes and tooth necklace that threw them off most, but hey.

So I kinda walked past them with the biggest, kindest smile, and greeted them with devil horns.

The way the smile on that ladies face died. Only thing I could have added was a Hail Satan or something.

And it's the last day of school! Man, this is amazing.
