Ain’t no one gonna point out that the bat wears healed boots. it’s because superman is taller than him and he can just not accept it.

What’s up everyone, I’m rewatching the Justice League animated series (I will not be normal about this)
I know I won’t be the first to say it but
This is THE SuperBat scene of all time
The excitement, the chest to chest hug, the loving look on Clark’s face, the knowing looks exchanged between the rest of the team GOD I AM INSANE ABOUT THEM
Even my Mom, who knows basically nothing about these characters, walked by during this scene and said “Oh my god, they’re in love! Does no one else see that?”
Tumblr media
Don’t worry, Mom, many of us do indeed see that

September 2010. As Bruce contemplates his very narrow escape from the Black Glove in BATMAN #701, he fields a call from Superman, who is always operating on a completely different wavelength. Morrison's observation here about Batman's relationship with his costumed colleagues isn't exactly new — witness the well-known scene in JUSTICE LEAGUE: TAS where he plunges from the sky while laconically reminding his comrades over the radio that he can't fly, at all — but it is succinct. The central theme of the "Batman: R.I.P." story of which this is part, and really Morrison's key insight into Batman as a character, is that being Batman is part of Bruce Wayne's determination to always control the narrative, no matter what. This brief scene is a reminder that however much love or respect Bruce may have for Clark, Superman's mere presence makes that control very difficult, because Superman by his very nature exists in a world of alien visitors, cosmic crises, and evil gods.
In the late '80s and throughout the '90s, it became very de mode to insist that Batman had a sort of Luthorian dread of super-people and was never more than one or two steps away from plotting their extermination, but Morrison's take is simpler than that: The core issue for Bruce is not necessarily that he mistrusts people with superhuman powers, but that when he's around them, they expect him to be a superhero, and not just a costumed mystery-man with a head full of esoteric knowledge and a belt full of Bat-gimmicks. It's true, too — I'm reminded of WORLD'S FINEST COMICS #278, back in 1982, where Katar Hol decides it's time for some regime change on his home planet Thanagar and recruits Superman and Batman to help him. What's most striking about the story is that neither Katar nor Superman even bothers to ask if Bruce might need to stop by the cave to pick up anything before they fly off to invade an alien world 400 light years away. They just expect him to roll with it, because after all, he's Batman, isn't he?

Batman heard about their new member, Wonder Woman. But has never seen the Amazon Princess in real life, only on tabloids and on the internet. Sure, she's gorgeous and literally a walking goddess among men. But Batman doesn't want to admit that, he's a professional for goodness sake.
So when Wonder Woman enters the meeting hall at the Watch Tower, the rest of the members get mesmerized and lost by her beauty.
Flash - Told you she's a keeper, Bats.
Batman - I don't know what you're talking about. And it's inappropriate to look at your colleague that way, Flash.
Wonder Woman approaches Batman and sits beside him with the loveliest smile he's surely seen.
Wonder Woman - Hi, Batman. I heard so much about you. I admire your heroism in your city.
Batman gets starstruck and numb, jaw opening and closing; his heart pounding wildly on his chest. Superman hears it. Dammit, he's not supposed to be acting like this. He's the Batman.
Before he could response, Flash and GL chuckle and smirk teasingly.
GL rather loudly says - I thought you don't get lost for words, Bats.
Batman growls in GL's ear - Shut up, Lantern, or I'll take you to Scarecrow's cell in Arkham.
He then faces Wonder Woman and apologizes.
Batman - Sorry about these colleagues, they're rather chidlish. But tha- (he clears his throat) thank you for that comment, Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman - Call me Diana.
She offers her hand in which Batman takes it and he swears he feels electricity through his entire body.
And if GL and Flash hide their smiles the entire time during the meeting as Batman tries to contain his blushing when Wonder Woman introduces herself to the rest of the League because she keeps glancing at Batman's direction, it's nobody's business but theirs.

Bruce is a slut that just makes out with all of his rogues! That's how he does it! Just saying, Clark, if you frenched Copperhead, maybe he'd tell you where Lex Luthor is! Have you ever tried it!???
I just LOVE it when Justice League accidentally implies that Batman is a slut! And cutting from a failed interrogation where Superman and Flash ask how Batman does it to a scene in which he starts making out with the rogue guarding him? HELL YES! This implies that he does this whenever he's in a sticky situation with ANY rogue! I demand to see Bruce making out with more rogues! Give me the story where he needs to get info from Two-Face and starts making out with him!

**Bonus**
Wonder Woman: This isn't the first time you've regressed to your child form?
Goku: Nope.
Green Lantern: I'm afraid to ask but how many times has this happened to you?
Goku: Hmm... this is my... *Counts fingers* third time, if you count Dragon Ball Daima.
Batman: You are a specimen, Goku.

I am of the opinion that being apart of the Justice League automatically means you are bisexual, nonbinary, or both. I do not make the rules, Batman did.
