I have so so many but my biggest brainrot lately has been Tobirama (from Naruto) and we met at work. (TBH the series Darte un Beso on my AO3 is just one big selfship with an OC that's less traumatized than me).

Tobirama and I met at work. He's a scientist like me, though he's quite a bit above me. Even so he acknowledges the brains I have and the creativity that comes with it. Tears in her eyes, Sakura calmed down as the man in front of her stared at her with a blank expression on his face. "I'm not kidding." I do think that objectively, the funniest thing u could do here is start off w the canon of him falling in love with Hinata, kidnapping her, all that-- but then he sees Kakashi and has Thoughts And Feelings(TM) and is now like. Conflicted.

This man does not know what polyamory is (and obviously neither Hinata or Kakashi would be interested either way, probably especially bc the other is involved bc that is weird and uncomfortable) and has never really faced what "love" truly is outside of this little box he has never been challenged ab

First completed Danmei Series award goes to The Scum Villian’s Self-Saving System

I’d say before the last chapter IE chapter 21 I’d say it’d be a good 8/10 and I was recommending it. However including 21 6/10 and 🌶️🤮

The sell before chap 21: Easy to read enjoyable extra characters and distinguishable personalities beyond the love interests. Shen Yuan is sent into his fav fanfic and he’s being forced to fix the plot by being the main Antagonist in this Half Demon Harem story. Very funny. Never boring. Really liked how easy it was to relate to Shen Yuan as an internet dweller who corrects things. I thought the romance from Shen’s direction was at a good pace. Luo Binghe is a stalker nasty crazy boy after my own heart. I read all three volumes in two days.

Honorable mention for Liu Qingge and the Snake boy You both deserved to be in the reverse harem Shen would have built if Luo Binghe was into sharing.

Okay let’s get into the details about what made me knock off two points and ruined my evening and perspective on the book

So I didn’t go in blind or anything. I’d looked it up. I knew it was problematic red flag stuff but nothing I hadn’t seen and dealt with before. YES, Shen Yuan is in D E N I A L 🚩Luo Binghe is obsessive crazy 🚩Shen Qingqiu is Luo Binghe’s teacher as a child so kind of Kakashi Sasuke vibes tbh 🚩 however chapter 21 introduces non-consensual things. I wasn’t expecting it. As someone who is sensitive to such things I was disturbed disappointed. So thought I’d mention that here. My friend said this is just how Danmei is… if it’s kissing or anything more it has to be under EXTREME circumstances and they both must have not enjoyed it. honestly if that’s true I’m not reading anymore. I don’t want to go down painful lane without warning ever again.

ALSO gotta knock a point off for Shen Yuan never being himself again. Or telling anyone what had happened. I mean I know he’s out of character out of character at the end but? Idk feels a little lacking in character feels. I mean HE DIED AND TOOK OVER SOME ELSES’ life who even though he was evil was still hypothetically a person.
