Is cold and you thought it would be funny to use your cold like ice feet to wake Jouno up.

Don't have to big expectations and i hope it will be fun to read. Can't expect normal main topic from me.

April was closing to the end but was not warner than it should. Barely reaching positive numbers on thermometer at nights, so it was hard to leave the blankets in mornings.

Every try to stay outside the warm material, ending with ice cold limbs.

To warm them up again was real struggle.

Woken up surprisingly early, wishing to be able to close eyes for some more.

You turned your head to the side, noticing that Jouno seemed being still asleep.

Being awake before him? Are you feeling unwell? You thought.

The one who always was first on their feet and other who would nuzzles into pillow for five minutes more- today roles reversed.

At the other hand, it was good occasion to see Jouno so relaxed, without a sly smile or annoyed frown. It was almost cute that bring a small smile of your own.

Even if you couldn't go back to sleep, you either wanted to get up.

Moving slightly under the duvet, feeling that even this wasn't enough to stop your feet from being cold.

Wrapped in two covers and still like ice to touch. After rubbing your feets, a stupid idea reached your mind.

It will fill the loneliness of one awake but also be curse for another.

Bringing plan in life, you moved your legs closer to Jouno's, to touch with your "popsicles" his own feet.

To your surprise and joy, it didn't took long for him to react to your ice cold feet. At first, still in sleep, moving away of your touch. A slight frown was appearing between his eyebrows.

This didn't stop you from bullying the poor man.

One his move back, equal with one your move forward. It was a battlefield under the covers with feets- colorised.

Nudging become more frequent, forcing Jouno to leave the dream land and meet with your giggles.

"Can you stop?"

"Stop what?"

"Feet."

"What's wrong with my feet?"

"Take it away."

He grumbled, clearly not very found of your new ways of waking up him. Even that didn't stopped you, annoying him further. Only left for him to continue to avoid your attacks.

"Saigiku, don't be like that, i am cold."

"I am not a heater for your legs- ack- you hold them in fridge?!"

Jouno flinched as his foot touched yours, it only make it harder to hold your laugh. He only wanted a peaceful morning on his free day but no, you had different plans of pushing him off the bed.

That almost happened, if Jouno didn't stopped from falling with his leg, stomping on cold floor.

A shiver went down his spine but not a good one.

"Haha- Sai you alright?"

It looks like, better to end your game before it will be drowning with tons of complaints from your beloved.

Jouno huffed and makes himself comfortable in bed again. Forcing you to return on your side.

With a serious look, suddenly, Jouno grabs your hand. Brushing his fingers over your skin.

"Cold too...Maybe you should sleep in socks and gloves. Tho, socks wouldn't be new thing for you."

Jouno says while waving with your own hand before face.

"Who sleeps in gloves....and we already have spring right? No need to continue to sleep in socks-"

Explaining yourself before Jouno cut you off.

"But you will, no matter, and i really mean, no matter if it's winter, spring or even summer- you will sleep with something on your feet. For your own good."

That's was too excessive right? Right?! You think to yourself after hearing his words, slightly terrified.

Jouno in the meantime, focused to warm up your hands, some kind of concern was creeping to his features.

"Sai...you are joking about socks in summer right?"

Question leaving your lips almost like a whine of wonded puppy, alone on a street.

"Do i sound like joking?" He responds your question with his own, hearing how your heart is breaking with dissatisfaction. Never planned to become your nanny but there were things that started to worry Jouno enough to not ignoring it.

"This is not first time...don't you think it's something wrong with your limbs? Always from one extremum to another."

With last word, Jouno squeezes your hand to emphasis this.

True that it's not first time when your feet are freezing even under multiple blankets...but was that really a problem to make it so serious right now? Then when something draws attention and concern from Jouno, it can be hard to take him off.

"It's just more cold this morning, nothing to worry- what with this face??"

Wanting to give your answer, you meet with expression full of doubt and disbelief. Jouno rise one his eyebrow with mute question of 'oh really?' and then letting out a sigh.

"Sure, just the morning and we have a hole in wall, and totally not under duvet AND blanket."

The good known, sarcastic tone from him that you would recognize even on the end of continent. It can't be helped.

"When will be summer i will be meters away from you, so don't worry so much."

You soothed, leaning a little closer and intertwining fingers together with him.

"Now that is change of topic, dear"

"Just...a small one"

Jouno sighs again, maybe the soft voice of yours was a magic spell and made him lenient....for now.

"We will check it later so don't think you escaped from it and time to move-"

"Five more"

Holding on hand tighter, when you stop him from leaving the bed and to stay longer, under cozy covers.

No way to let him go, almost like child having tantrum over the fact, you 'needed' to wake him up and being awake alone for short moment. Feeling the heat of his hand in your own...a reassurance that he was by your side and not far far away.

"Saigiku..."

Whispering his name like sweet melody into his ear, causing it to redding like a petal of rose. It took a short second for him to answer.

"Yes?..."

Another wave of silence grew between two of you, when suddenly you move your feet for last time, hopefully, this morning, to touch his. Jouno flinch even more in shock than ever before, his vigilance lulled from your honey like tone.

"Ah.....dear..."

A wide grimace appeared on his face when he started to syllable your name, slowly and low. A warning before punishment. You crossed a line.

"I'm sorry hahaha!-"

A laugh filled the room, no holding back.

Morning started cold but now was full of warm, laughing and his complaints. You wish to have always share moments with him, no matter the fleeting time.

November 27th, 2023 - SDVX EG, PIU 2023 PHOENIX, IIDX 31, DDR A3

I'M BAAAAAACK

yesterday was a sort of test day to try out PIU PHOENIX unseriously, but today is the REAL DEAL!!! got my gamer dance shoes that carried me through perfecting my first pool at MOTL5, my water bottle from the garage that's been 40F for the past month or two, and made my way to round 1 via the bus to KILL IT!!!

but first, it's important to have a good warm up!! and i decided the perfect warmup game would be... sdvx!!! (it's a good idea trust me)

my first few sets weren't really anything to write home about, but i picked it up and got a sightread 15 S as well as... A NEW 17 CLEAR!!! AND ALMOST AAA AT THAT!!!! this is maybe, like, my 7th one...? 8th...? honestly don't even know... but it's a damn good one to get tbh like this shit is HARD

and then, of course, it was time to play the one true game i was here for. which is, of course, DANCE DANCE RE-oh wait no i mean PUMP IT UP PHOENIX!!!! oh how i missed you over the 16 hours that we were apart... and how i love that i can ACTUALLY HIT YOUR NOTES NOW

there's a lot here since i was mostly just excited to play phoenix for the first real time (MOTL5 and yesterday don't count L), but highlights include the following:

BATTLE NO.1 S20 Sightread AAA clear!!! (rough game lol)

VECTOR D20 upscore to 963k!! S doable if i don't mess up some hold stairs...

STORM D19 CLEAR AFTER LIKE 3 ATTEMPTS!!!! THE BEST SCORE OF THIS SESSION BECAUSE IT'S IN SUCH A BANGER CHART OUGHHHHHHHH IF YOU CAN BE BIGA DOEEO NAERYEOOOO

first time playing co-op on phoenix and getting owned!!

quite the fun session, ain't that right kaeps? it sure is, and now we turn to our reporter kapie by the iidx cabs to give us the rundown on the other scores there!

why yes, thank you, it appears this man got his ass kicked after all that pump gaming and decided to cool down from eating something by playing some iidx, where he ended up... actually doing quite well!!! a sightread AA on a 9, a sightread almost AA on a different 9, B4U remix moment, and ultra close to AAA on cinderella SPH-8!!!

okay okay, i got rid of the random news reporters now and can finally talk in first person again... so since i was already at the iidx cabs and still hadn't passed down what i ate, i said "fuck it might as well" and went back to the empty valk cab to play one more set of sdvx... where i got both an unremarkable score and a 981k on Absurd Gaff EXH-16!!

and last but definitely least... ddr jumpscare (survival at the end of the universe AAA finally!!! woohoo!!! i am so happy about this information)

An audino? Kapi's ears perked. No, it wasn't that audino. She was purple, this one is pink. But this one looked at them the same way the other one did. Full of caring kindness, like a promise that they were safe.

Kapi managed a look, there was one person still there. They had to be careful if they did this. They didn't want to share their pain if they used telepathy. A glance at the clipboard was followed by a long blink. They could write. That was one of the things they were shown how to do. That thought mixed with the physical pain they felt, bringing tears to the corners of their eyes.

'Okay,' the telepathic message was slow, carefully measured. 'I fell down in the ruins. And my tail hurts.' To emphasize this, Kapi looked back at it. The angle it was bent at was clearly painful. They adjusted their position a little to relax, only for the tears that dotted the corners of their eyes to fall. 'Leg! Leg too!'

Poppy and company had tried very hard to make sure their logo was distinct from the normal red cross - lest the Joy family get up their ass for trademark or copywright reasons. But every so often, they got a client who mistook the rainbow X for a red cross, in their panic, so it was normal.

And a client was a client, so at the sound of the bell, when the door was opened, a friendly Audino came toddling out from behind the counter, holding a clipboard. Only to stop short.

...

Well, this was awkward. Mew were - was? Florence was unsure about the population number - not extremely important to the cosmos, not enough to be worshiped as a god...except by one of the part owners of this clinic. Ugh, Florence was so torn - Dr. Somma would jump at the chance to treat a Mew. But that could scare the poor thing off, and they didn't want that either...

Scrubbing away these thoughts, Florence held out the clipboard. ["Here you go!"] The standard welcome script just flew out of her head entirely. Some of these fields were going to be a little hard to answer, too. ["Um..."] There was only one other person in the waiting room, but they were over by the healing machine and would be out any minute. Florence felt Noir in the back office start to grow antsy at whether this would be another argument over the 1000p healing machine fee.

Importantly, though, there was nobody to eavesdrop on the Mew answering questions that were asked in Pokespeech. ["We do treat wild Pokemon. Don't worry about paying us. You're kind of a special case, I think?"] Ah, Noir would be able to answer these questions better but Florence didn't want a fight in the waiting room...

["We can figure out that stuff later, we just gotta know why you're here."] Something a little more specific than "everything hurts" was needed for the chief complaint section.

Small clumsy Tecchou thought

Making flower crowns or bouquets, sitting on a bench or anything enough tall to make Tecchou crouch by the side.

He don't sit on it.

You two just talk like this, about anything, enjoying each other company.

Somehow, when Tecchou wants to get up from crouching, didn't realized that his legs got numb. Making him trip over his own legs and with weird fate, his face landing on your thigh.

He froze, sent of flowers filling up his nostrils while the soft and warm thigh makes his heart go crazy.

You asks if he is alright, didn't got hurt, brushing some of his hair from cheek to look at the face.

At this point Tecchou is gone, first in life, flustered so badly that he and red roses looks identical. Trying his best to create sentence and tell you, that everything alright and apologize for it.

Sight was too adorable to not giggle and just let it be as long as it can. He will get up when calms himself a little more, you give him time, there's no rush.

Tecchou was just too cute at that moment

Fnf boys (who ever you feel most like writing) with an s/o with big horns and a (fluffy) tail? And they have marks on their horns from times they got in fights and used the horns in those fights

Whitty: The marks on your horns come from fights with Greater Good agents who try to capture him (they ignore you bc he's the main threat). Whitty's amazed but also worried about you getting hurt or getting your horns stuck/chipped off. He does like your fluffy tail, though! It's soft and makes a good pillow (or blanket).

Starecrown: He's seen all the fights you were in and is amazed! Of course he's willing to heal your horns should they get damaged too much, but it surprises him when you say you'd rather keep the marks. Just because they make you look tough and badass. He can't argue with that.

Tabi: This goat boi's had his fair share of fights, in which he had to use his own horns to protect himself. But he worries about yours more than his (despite yours being a lot bigger and more durable). Expect him to scold you if you're not careful enough. Like Whitty, he's got a habit of petting your tail if he needs to calm down.

Senpai: Immediately focuses on your fluffy tail. He could pet it for days! If he's ever sad about losing a rap battle or something, you just wrap it around him and he feels better. Fortunately you don't get into many fights, but if you do Senpai's gonna want to bandage your horns bc he worries a lot.

Kapi: Funny enough, most of your horn markings were from scraping them against the arcade ceiling, not so much from fights. Kapi still thinks they look awesome, though. And you got a fluffy tail like him??? He's lowkey jealous but won't tell you that.

Garcello: You're a combination of "vicious" and "cute". He likes that a lot. How you got your horn markings aren't his business unless you want to tell him. Your fluffy tail makes a good blanket if he ever gets cold or if he just wants to cuddle with you and feel like everything's okay.

Selever: At first is all snarky like "HEY I got horns, too, babe!!!" He's highkey jealous. Once he tried to make his horns bigger than yours, but immediately fell over due to the massive weight on his head. You just laughed and cuddled with him, wrapping your tail around him so he'd feel better.
