20230122: the next classic rebuild is (surprise!) yet another fire fighting set! yay! I like the design on yesterday’s 6385 better than this one, but to be fair 6382: Fire Station with 368 pieces from 1980 was released before yesterday’s build. I like the fire trucks for this set better than the fire trucks for 6285, especially with the panels of stickers designed to look like buttons and control panels, but I liked the build experience from 6385 better than for 6382. I think combining the two of them would be the best way to make a really fun fire station, with the entryway desk from this set (6382) plus the large second floor control desk from 6385 would be really great :)

Well some random fire occurred at the downtown new paper stand but not too worry! The heroic fire fighters are here to save the day and put out the fire!

This is part of a series called "Off Brand Minifigures Scenes" or OBMS. It's about using a set of off brand Lego minifigures, good or bad quality, and using them for different scenes and scenarios based on their appearance or profession. A group of minifigures from a single off brand company will be used at a time. The brand of these minifigures is Miin. You can explore this series in the OBMS gallery folder.

🚦Traffliclight Trio Shenanigans

Fandom : LEGO Monkie Kid Characters : Red Son, MK, Mei

➥ CW/TW : Implied Spicynoodles/Implied Dragonfruit/Implied Chimera(?)

Hidden Enjoyment ? ➠ Red Son dealing with two people who people on the 'hero's side' isn't usually like him. He doesn't show it much but he can't help find hidden enjoyment in their presence. It's somewhat a comforting feeling. When Mei teases him for being a hero though, he disagrees but tolerates it for them.

Texting !! ➠ Mei and MK having Red Son in a group chat with them is somewhat entertaining. Doing stims and Red Son is often confused about it, so they both have to explain it to him in a way he can understand. In which, he does understand it and after sometime he starts to do it as well. To add on, Red Son probably does some proper form of texting, using full words and sentences. MK and Mei however, probably started texting with both semi-full sentences, shortcuts and tag tones. After some time though, they quickly understood each other even if the text is full of key smashing.

Physical Affection !! ➠ MK and Mei hug and have that good buddy buddy affection they aren't afraid to do in public. Red Son occasionally does the arm touches with both of them and small acts of affection, but doesn't do it often in public. In worry of what his parents or other people would think of the Demon Bull King's son. In private though, MK and Mei assure him that it's okay to show physical affection. He likes the reassuring affection, he doesn't ask for it of the other two, but discreetly asks for it if he's desperate enough.

Warmth !! ➠ In cold weather, MK likes to huddle up between Mei and Red Son. Both having Pyrokinesis, they aren't affected much to the cold. Well Mei at least- because it wasn't too long ago that she had Pyrokinesis.

Partners in Crime !? ➠ Red Son holding both MK and Mei's hands like, "This is my boyfriend. This is my girlfriend."

Protection !!! ➠ These three are considerably protective over each other. Being able to react quickly and take action, no matter the threat. Or if something startles them. Like, a bug. To add on, Red Son is probably the one to consider protecting the other two the most because he is an Demon born with Immortality. Often trying his best to remind the other two that they are mortals, who unfortunately who can succumb to sickness, injuries and death... While MK isn't and does not have Invincibility like he use to, he and Mei are both mortals still with powerful abilities with skills they would still need to learn more in the future.

Combat !! ➠ The trio is noticeably experienced in combat in and with their own skillsets. They all have speed... Red Son probably having the most experience, he is skilled in close combat usually using just his fists to throw calculated hits and punches, and often dodging if he's able to. He also uses his pyrokinesis to aid himself in close combat. MK is able to use his Golden Staff for close combat, and sometimes long ranged combat(via controlling the size of it.) When he did not have his Golden Staff, he is able to do close combat to an extent. Even wrestling if it counts. Mei has her swordsmanship, being any to wield the Dragon Blade at ease. Making her a skilled sword fighter. She also possesses the abilities of Dracokinesis and Pyrokinesis, being able to use draconic energy and control fire to her will. TLDR !! - If they are coordinated enough, they should be able to fight alongside together. Hopefully in sync enough their abilities aren't able to collide with one another.

Another Lego commission using my Jacaranda frame as a base (full disclourse I took waaay too long on these and doubt I'll get covered, my b), once again was given a lot of leeway with a request simply for a Tank, Artic, Jet, and Space type mechas. I had the impression that these were meant to be more villainous mooks to act as foils for the original heroic request, but a step up from the generic mooks. Decided to try to give them a little more personality and make them a little more imposing to set them apart. From the top down are the Stragon (Space), Jettir (Jet), Kerberos (Tank), and Frostburn (Artic). The Stragon probably has the most style, from its guitarax to its pompour shaped sensor pod. Its a light weight melee speedster with miniaturized drop pod boosters. I picture its pilot as a poetic lover-not-a-fighter until its actually time to throw down, and suddenly they become an ax murder maniac. The rest of the team probably gives the pilot a lot of flack for forgoing ranged weaponry and more defensive systems, but the Stragon's pilot wants, no *needs*, their enemies to see how stylish they are up close and personally. By comparsion, the Jettsir is a no-nonsense transformer with a need for speed. With a well rounded loadout of ranged and melee weaponry the pilot focuses on technical take downs of their opponents, likely often trying and failing to get their teammates to follow combat advice. Likely to get blown out of the sky for not focusing on their own surroundings while trying to play the part of the general. Kerberos is a heavy duty dozer with an emphasis on heavy weapons and heavier armor. While it lacks traditional melee armaments the pilot isn't shy to bullrush attacks, forcing an opponent back with its shields while firing point blank with its artillery. Each backpack mounted weapon system has a sensor pod shaped like another head, giving the illusion of a three headed monstrosity. This pilot likes the boom boom and just wants to have a good time living their best life, wrecking giant robots. Finally Frosburn is a close quarters combat specialist, wielding a superheated buzzsaw and flamethrower. The other pilots don't give this one grief over the lack of ranged weaponry as it's pilot is bad scary (as oppose to fun scary). The chest mounted super conductive heat shield can melt incoming fire as well as enemy mecha, making the Frostburn as scary to face as its pilot. When working in concert this team is a fearsome foe, but they are oft to fall to the misdirection of their opponents as they are to let their own personalities get in the way of proper teamwork, making them little more than roadbumps to reach the true villain of the week.

20230124: today’s rebuild was a Light and Sound set from 1985! 6480: Hook and Ladder truck with 106 pieces is a really fun set. it’s got the standard extendable ladder, plus the fire hose with the gray nozzle and other fire fighting equipment, but then it also has a battery pack where the 2x8 sticker is. with a battery inside the battery pack, you can turn the black nob on top and switch between the siren sounding like weee ooo weee ooo or bib bib bib. the light assembly has six different bulb covers, two each in blue, red, and yellow, and depending on how you attach the plate on top, you can either have one light blink or both. it’s very, very cool :)

Multiversus Wishlist

You know the drill here people. I'm making a list of the characters that I want to see join the roster of Multiversus. This will be influenced by various leaks, hints and datamines for the game.

Here we go.

-Green Lantern (has been hinted at in the trailers and could be interesting gameplay wise)

-The Flash (my favorite DC superhero and would give us a speedster in the game)

-Aquaman (he's been hinted at and voice lines were datamined)

-Martian Manhunter (I just want him in because I want to see the Big Seven of the Justice League in the game)

-Hawkgirl (I'm fascinated by the Hawk mythos in DC and she would diversify the roster a bit)

-Lex Luthor (we need more villains in the game and his rivalry with Superman is legendary)

-The core Teen Titans (Robin, Raven, Cyborg, Starfire and Beast Boy. All of them would bring something unique to the table of a platform fighter. Plus Raven has been hinted at through voice lines.)

-Deathstroke (If any of the Titans get in then we definitely need their premier enemy in there.)

-Green Arrow (He's a big deal for DC and his archer based moveset could be fun)

-Beetlejuice (Voice lines were datamined and plus he's the Ghost with the Most.)

-Harry Potter (I know there's been controversy with the creator of the series but the Wizarding World is still a huge IP for Warner Bros. so I expect they'll include someone as a playable character and who better than the main character.)

-Gandalf (Was datamined and Lord of the Rings is still a big property for Warner Bros. Plus he's a wizard and that's always cool)

-The Powerpuff Girls (Voice lines were datamined for all three)

-Ed, Edd, and Eddy (Despite being one of the original Cartoon Cartoons they haven't really gotten representation in a platform fighter before so this would be a chance to fix that)

-Samurai Jack (Voice lines were datamined and besides it's freaking Samurai Jack. Why wouldn't they include him?)

-Johnny Bravo (I just want him in because he was one of the original Cartoon Cartoons)

-Numbuh One (I want to see some representation from Codename Kids Next Door and he's the most likely to get in)

-Daffy Duck (Was datamined and could be funny to see)

-The Road Runner (Mostly want them because of nostalgia for the Road Runner SNES game)

-Reptile (A fan favorite and wouldn't be expected plus his reptilian powers would be fun in the game)

-Raiden (Typically the "Big Good" of MK and a good pick for a hero character)

-Liu Kang (He is supposed to be the hero of the series, which MK1 has made more clear than ever so he might have a chance)

-The Animaniacs (Yakko, Wakko and Dot could be a three-in-one fighter much like how the PPG are predicted to be and it would be just fun to have them in the game)

-Ruby Rose (I love the RWBY series and it is owned by Warner Bros so the main character making it in is a distinct possibility)

-A Bionicle character (I loved the Bionicle series, it would give Multiversus a Lego rep and I would ideally prefer Takanuva with his light powers or Mata Nui with the Kanohi Ignika giving him life powers)

Clutch and Emri's parents, Rock Powers and Lilith Ravenwood

Their mother Lilith was an spy and was born on a rich family but she was on an arranged marriage with a man named Walter Jenkins she never liked him but was forced by her three strict older siblings Vance, Samuel and Tara to marry him since that would save their forture. Jenkins seemed to only be interested on his fiance because of her money and not because he loved her

Then there's their dad Rock or Omega for the bad guys, he was a respected arqueologist by his crew of multiversal explorers called "the Golden Fighters", he and his friends for a long time were looking for the Omega who was causing chaos around the world destroying other realms and was into black magic (Rock is secretly him but they don't know that), in one of his small quests he met Lilith who often sneeked up at town to socialize to forget about her marriage and she bumped on Rock accidently revealing his Oni magic, she wasn't scared at all but fascinanted, at first they started as friends seeing each other when no one was watching but something about the explorer got Lilith so enchanted, "he is so kind and gentle, could i..?" so one day he finally opened up to her showing he certainly had feelings towards her and begged her to run away with him but Lilith couldn't do that, at least not now.

So it happend, a day tired of all the abuse and not be able to take control of her life Lilith poisoned her siblings on a dinner night and set the manor they lived in on fire with them inside, as for Jenkins? a moment later she pushed him to a river where he got eaten alive by a crocodile and nothing of him was left. Inmediatly she ran into Rock's arms and away from her abussive home to marry him at Lego city

How would an Elves RPG Prequel game be like?

Here's what I've got:

CHARACTER CLASSES (Based on DnD descriptions)

Quartzine - Barbarian with Fighter subclass Skyra - Fighter with Bard subclass "Fire Sister" - Rogue with Fighter subclass "Water Sister" - Ranger with Monk subclass Emily Sr. - Cleric with Bard subclass

STORY

Of course, the ultimate finale of the campaign would be creating the portal to Earth. But the inciting incident could start small with something like the birth of the guardians or an opposing nation of like, centaurs or something. Then we work up through increasing threats like the Shadow Creatures, maybe world hop to chill with the Fae and see what they're up to. A constant thread could be "yo where the humans at?" which gives the incentive to open a portal just to have a little peak.

GAMEPLAY

The gameplay style would be similar to UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE because those are the only RPG-style games whose mechanics I'm familiar with. You have the player character and their party, you go do quests and level up your party members. Combat is turn-based as the target audience would likely be on the younger end.

Each mission is it's own section, as you complete each quest you can return to //someone's// residence to level up and do cutesy whatevers. I'd say you start with Emily Sr's home and then unlock the other sisters' palaces until Skyra's Castle, where the final mission takes place. This is instigated by the player as an "Are You Sure?" prompt.

OTHER

Multiplayer could be an option maybe? Otherwise you can unlock the other sisters as playable characters for side quests after beating the main game.

DLC could be more miscellaneous missions with the other sisters as player characters.

Visual Style could be like the other LEGO console games, just with minidoll models. Although I wouldn't at all mind a pixel-style or regular human models either.

Some stuff about a previous post.

In my au where Clemmons (from Lego city adventures) is a time elemental, I like to think that while he can't use his powers as well as acronix and krux, he does have a one advantage over them.

The way his time powers work could be by creating time bubbles. He can freeze a large area in time or move large areas ahead in time. The bubble where things and places get moved ahead in time is a moving one at that too, following Clemmons. This would explain how he can interact with people while retrieving items yet still deliver those items to the right place in a matter of seconds. He has the natural ability to do what the second time blade could do, but better.

This means that Clemmons could have a much larger range than krux and acronix. So far we've only seen them move themselves and their weapons through time, nothing more. Clemmons, on the other hand, can move an entire fire truck and/or multiple people through time. Or keep an entire building and fire crew frozen in time. What Clemmons lacks in fighting prowess, he can make up for with his incredible range. He has been practicing pretty regularly with large areas and large amounts of time.

After Clemmons becomes involved with the ninjas, he would need to learn basic self defense and how to scale his powers down enough, in terms of area and time if he was to ever be in combat. Krux and Acronix are experienced fighters and know how to use their time powers to make changes quickly, putting him at a disadvantage in an actual fight.

Once Clemmons is able to control his powers better, he could aid by moving the ninjas through time or freezing time in the right areas such that Krux and Acronix cannot use the time blades to gain an advantage. Or better yet are on the receiving end of the exact same fighting style from back when they fought the elemental alliance using their powers.
