ok im actually making a dent on the Lights Out prelim outline - ive got a bit over 4k in it but i didnt realize how tough the real start would be. It's actually... sort of boring lmao

#like all frank and wally can do is #sit around and talk / read / avoid sally / check on friends #like??? ITS SO SLOW #what fuckin else is there to do?#like we've got the minor conflict of them still having to do the occasional play for sally #and there's the existentialism of frank learning that everything is fake #but once he acclimates? theyre just vibing #all thats left is for frank to slowly lose hope and also touch with reality like wally #i mean i want him to go through an investigative phase bc he is Observant #but once he reaches the inevitable dead end?#theyre just hanging outttttt #what the hell would they even talk about...#frank trying to chat with a Very out of touch out of practice wally #absolutely unprompted #and so inevitably i have returned to the Aftermath and am working on that while my brain turns over act one things #ive got it on lock all the way to frank meeting the 'new' wally #siiiiiiigh....

its so crazy that for the last 5 years a small but annoyingly vocal online group has been acting like mob movies of all things are pretentious and inaccessible cinema. yeah the godfather is kinda slow but these are movies about criminals who shoot people

Danny is going to Gotham for his scholarship.

Good news! There's another halfa in the city, and he seems to be a good guy. Bad news: the nearest path to his university is through that halfta's haunt. He could take the long way around, but the costs would be more than his budget can handle, and he'd like to avoid dealing with a pissed-off Red Hood.

Hopefully the offerings will be enough to sate his annoyance (and help maybe, god that man has the most malnourished core he's ever seen).

Jason is getting incredibly confused over the strange gift baskets that keep appearing on his patrol routes.

⚠ not proofread cuz I'm tired. enjoy!!!

Moments before disaster struck, soft babbles and tiny feet smacking against the floor were unmistakable to the ears. While your husband "chases" the fourteen month old baby who's wobbly on their feet, you're finishing up some work.

As of recent, your baby has become a better walker, they still crawl around and wobble a little bit, but they're walking none the less. From their perspective, those tiny little legs make them unstoppable. In order to avoid being caught by their daddy, they must "run" away.

"I go get you!!!" He says in his little baby voice, watching his baby stop to look at him with a gummy smile that contains around four or five teeth.

Baby quickly turns around, their little legs carrying them as fast as they'll go and suddenly they bump into the wooden door frame that leads into your bedroom.

The bump was pretty loud and you just know that had to hurt. The joy on your baby's face soon turns into a little pouty frown and baby starts crying out in pain.

"Uh oh! Let daddy see." He rushes over to pick up his chubby little baby. Your husband examines baby's forehead which has a little knot forming on it.

The hollering gets louder as he tries to comfort the infant.

"It's okay. Look at daddy!" He tries making silly faces which distracts the baby's one track mind for a few seconds. They remember what they were doing previously and starts up the tears again.

"Mommy!!!" He yells out; unsure of what to do. He's slightly panicking seeing his baby in so much stress and pain like this... maybe you'll know what to do.

Relief floods through him when you come and take the little baby out of his arms.

"[baby's name] got a little boo boo on their forehead. I was chasing them and they bumped into the frame over there."

Baby stops crying when they're in your arms. You giggle softly at how quickly baby changes up.

"Did you just play your daddy? Yes you did! Oh yes you did." You ask in a soft baby voice. Baby starts to clap and giggle, you're sure they don't even grasp what you're saying.

"I did not get played by a baby!"

"Yes you did. Their boo boo was not as bad as you made it out to be." As soon as your husband tries to argue back, Baby has some words of their own:

"DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA," Baby says with a mouth full of fingers.

"That's exactly what I was saying. Daddy got played." Your husband stands in your room completely dumbfounded by what just happened while watching you walk out of the room with baby in your arms.

BETTER CALL SAUL!

#this was mostly a test run on procreate dream!#its pretty good but it has a LOT of room for improvement #which i know the developers have been working on since the app is still technically in beta!#but hey i did this in like 3 weeks while working a full time job and also working on other art so #its pretty damn powerful software #good shit if you use procreate already!!#literally the biggest flaws rn are a lack of selection tool an undo/redo button and #and the app itself has a tendency to crash or slow down if theres “too much” going on #like i had to delete all but one of the preloaded animations just so the app would run smoother while i worked #so its still very clearly in its early phase but its good and im excited to see what the developers will do with it #ok review over #better call saul #saul goodman #bcs #jimmy mcgill #breaking bad #animation #brba #video #procreate dreams

watching the kaiju no. 8 anime and the kafka + reno dynamic is so top-tier. contrasting reno, a sterotypical edgy anime teenager, with kafka, a pretty regular guy in his 30s, has such endless comedy to it.

they're father-son coded but reno did the adopting. he saw how lame and wet kafka was and fetched the adoption papers out himself.
