Imagine like a medieval fantasy Marvel au

Somebody walks into the woods where the witch supposedly lives and finds Nat.

Nat is in full black assasin clothing with wild red hair and strong make up so surely she must be the witch, right?

Wrong.

The next person they find is Yelena, also in black with strong make up and a sword, so that must be the witch.

Wrong.

Then there's Bucky, full winter soldier style with so much black make up that he must be the witch.

Wrong.

Then there's Wanda. She's literally doing magic, she must be the witch!

Wrong, she's an official Royal sorceress. She even shows you her license.

And then they find a small boy, with fluffy brown hair, bambi eyes and a flower crown in his hair. There's a smile on his face as he talks with a mechanic.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for a witch?"

"Oh, yeah, that's me. My names Peter, how can I help you?" the boy asks.

In the 2014 Ms Marvel run they showed Kamala writing fanfic about superheroes presumably to make her relatable to the target audience of teen girls who also wrote fanfic about Marvel characters. But Kamala LIVES in the Marvel universe where those are just real people. So we have to imagine that Kamala got into some very tedious RPF discourse on the 616 equivalent of Tumblr

hello !!

-currently i have read 49 books this year tho quite a few of those were novellas . but some of them were like 800 pages so. balances!

-best books tied between: in memoriam / alice winn - the cloud roads / martha wells and fools errand / robin hobb -worst books: in the lives of puppets / tj klune (i fucking HATE tj klunes writing. and i also hate purposely written '''cosy'' fiction and forced found family stuff. why do i keep reading his books) and the cruel prince / holly black (girl none of these characters are likeable)

rn i am reading fools quest by robin hobb which is .....okay......ngl im not liking the fitz and the fool trilogy much rn i rlly didnt like fools assassin which honestly shouldve just been 'fitz makes questionable parenting decisions and struggles to run a household'. im not like getting the vibes. i might pause reading it or read smth else as well along side im undecided

This is ser Dane, dubbed the Black Knight.

He’s a mysterious genius pawn, who retains his ability to travel through the rift despite being, by all appearances, bestowed and human. He wields a sword as dark as night, and it’s rumored that the sword is his true master (or absurdly, that his Arisen is trapped in it.) Pawns treat him as an anomaly, and most advise their Arisen to steer clear of him. However no Arisen has ever regretted hiring Dane, for he’s an excellent and clever fighter. Still they cannot deny that he’s quite odd for a pawn, like a man stuck in an awkward place between pawn and human.

I also have a distaste for the superhero genre in general it just feels like a lot of extremely serious issues are overly simplified and handled in the most juvenile and individualistic way possible and they're very easily co-opted to act as military propaganda etc. also they're annoying. to me
