My Top 5 Favorite Whumpees

Got bored so I wanted to make a list of my favorite whumpees, in no particular order of any kind.

Yep, I love male whumpees. Especially soft male whumpees, or those with a prominent soft side.

Definately didnt scroll through your ashmore tags and find the scene from the following where he get stabbed in the back 3 times before also defending his partner (???) by shooting the attacker WHILST ON THE GROUND BLEEDING OUT

Definately didnt get massive whumperflies or anything- not me at all

On an unrelated note, is there any follow up to that scene? Any good aftercare?

Oh man isn't that just SO GOOD!!! Why don't we get whump like that anymore!? That's 1x08 by the way and the whole episode has some good stuff. So he gets kidnapped by the bad guy, held hostage and threatened, interrogate and forced to fight/beaten up that escalates with every question asked (loved when he got hit with the pipe. not a trope used as much anymore), he lays on the ground weak and in a lot of pain, gets grabbed by his hair, then he gets stabbed several times in the last of the fights and his partner finds and rescues him and there's a great scene of Kevin Bacon's character cradling him close and reassuring him he'll be okay. And then he passes out and we get the whole "stay with me buddy!" ugh i love that shit.

In terms of after care we do have a hospital scene at the end of the episode. Where's he's unconscious in the hospital and Hardy is at his bedside. And then in the next episode 1x09 he's unconscious still and not in that episode. We see Mike again in 1x12 and he's still really bruised and beaten up and in pain. And then he also gets whump again in this episode! While still recovering from the beating and stabbing, he's now gotten himself kidnapped again, tied to a chair with zipties inside a locked room, threatened to have his throat cut, and his wounds are pressed on hard, choked, all in the presence of Hardy. It's one of the best interrogated in front of someone I've seen. And he gets another ambulance ride.

I don't remember if we see anything else but hey we got those two episodes!

Mike's tortured to find Hardy's wife but ends up stabbed after he convinces them he doesn't know.

Hardy gets there in time to save him and find out in the hospital that Mike is literally the only one of them that does know where she is.

this probably won't reach anyone because i'm not even sure if this 10 year old show even has any active followers of it but to anyone who loved the following, did anyone actually watch series 3? this was one of my favourite shows in the world but i never saw the final season because one half of my fav died in the series 2 finale & i know the other died at some point during the 3rd season. would anyone recommend finishing the show properly?

TIG Movie Night!

Hi everyone! Based on your votes, we will be having our Thomas Ian Griffith movie marathon on Saturday, March 16th starting at around 7pm PST and going until one of us dies or something.

I have made a poll on Slido that lets you pick your top 3 favourite TIG movies, and you have until end of day next Sunday (March 10th) to cast your votes. We'll watch them in order of popularity - I'm imagining at least 3, but who knows how many we'll get to?

You know what? I'm gonna introduce an oldie. She hasn't been spotted in ten years.

Let me introduce you to...

Sarah Greene

Sarah Greene was my OC for a TV show called 'The Following'.

Sarah was a nurse who was also a cultist for serial killer Joe Carroll. She was tasked with keeping tabs on FBI Agent Mike Weston but ended up falling in love with him. Once her cover was blown, the two of them had this weird/awkward tango because she's a cult follower to a deranged serial killer and Mike, is, well, an FBI agent on the case of said deranged serial killer. But they still loved each other. It was super duper complicated. Also, she was on the run because...yeah...

Anyway--she went to prison, found out she was pregnant in prison and had their daughter, Grace, who Mike ended up getting custody of; and he didn't really talk about Sarah nor did he talk to Sarah, he just sort of moved on and lived his life while raising Grace in the suburbs of Alexandria, VA until Sarah got out of prison.

Sarah was reformed after getting out of prison, she thought Joe Carroll and Co. were all dead and she was free to live life as she saw fit; but of course she wasn't! Joe and Co. were very much around still, and not really happy that she had moved on from them.

Sarah's face claim was Natalie Portman, I wrote for her & Mike starting November 2013 and quit writing as of Feb. 2015.

Sarah was loving, caring, determined, and brave. I did role play with her very briefly on a forum for the fandom, but it dropped off about as quickly as it started.

Sometimes, I do think about her and I have considered writing a little something something where I bring in all of my OC's but I am still trying to determine if that's even workable or a good idea.

All of my fics regarding The Following are either here on my Tumblr page, or on my FF.net page (which I honestly haven't used since completing my last Sarah/Mike ficlet.

I was in my early 20's when I was writing Sarah, and going through some of the fics now is so cringe and yet I love it all.

I'm recently rewatching The Following for the first time since it aired on Fox--all those memories flood back, and then I really start missing Sarah. I'm a very different person now, obviously--but all of my OC's share a special place in my heart. Crazy or otherwise.

Mike Weston is so eager to know Ryan Hardy that it could almost read as suspicious. Like we learn later that Mike is just the exact lethal combination of idealistic and eager that leads to his downfall, he's so excited to meet his hero and instead of being put off when that hero doesn't live up to his fantasies, he's SO ready to be dragged down to his level. It's tragic. One could almost say Mike is to Ryan as Ryan is to Joe, except that Ryan never cared about corrupting Mike the way Joe was obsessed with corrupting Ryan.

Alright so I just finished Crackerjack, and I have a new pet ship?

Jack Lambert (Distant Thunder) / Jack Wild (Crackerjack)

Because my first thought was "hey, Tig plays a troubled ex cop with PTSD. Let's say Jack Lambert meets Jack Wild as he is picking up his father from a support group? Also, the matching names give plenty of opportunity for shenanigans.

And then @merv606 was like. "Yeah, that's good. But have you thought about Jack Lambert/ Mike Weston (Behind Enemy Lines)?"

And then I got back with "what about Jack Lambert/Frank Wusharsky?" (Blood of the Innocent)

Which was volleyed with "Jack Lambert/Terry Mcain?" (Excessive Force)

Which has left me stuck because Tig plays far too many troubled PTSD stricken cops/soldiers.

So I'm putting it to a vote. Lol.
