Having a hard time getting creative juices to flow again.

Alvin managed to get a little (intro?) or something done for the next multi-fic idea.

“As Classic Alvin, I’m rambunctious and wild. I do things without considering the consequences. By the time I realize I’ve made a dumb decision, it’s too late. I’ve got a huge mess to clean up. He’s fun in the moment, but then he wallows in his regrets.

As Nerdy Alvin, I overthink everything so much that I freeze when asked to make a decision. I make too many plans. I get lost inside my own head. I hyper analyze and get fixated on learning as much as possible. I become more introverted and aloof.

I can deny it all I want. He is my “Simon” side. A part of me I didn’t realize existed until Jeanette helped me learn to control my impulses more. Though I fear she may have caused me to flip a little too far in the opposite direction.

And Alvin 2.0, he’s the best parts of both of them. He’s got the passion, the fun, the spirit, while maintaining the intellect, the expert planning skills, and the ability to think ahead. I LOVE being him. But he almost feels too…stable, sometimes. Missing that randomness and chaos a bit. Being stuck in his mindset too long also feels unnatural and uncomfortable after a while.

I don’t really want to have to choose between the three. Not permanently. There’s a time and a place for all the sides of me. I just wish I was better at judging what that time and place is. I wish I was better at matching the switch to the situation. I’m not great at it, but it’s something I’m working on.”

Potential Hot Take:

I hate the direction vanilla Minecraft has gone in.

I wish they would optimize efficiency for mob behavior and make backpacks that people who HATE HARDCORE MODE can gain access to.

Peaceful Mode: contains all mobs, but none of them can hurt the player or will even try, no matter how hard they get bonked with an axe. Boss/trial chamber/dungeon areas would be completely blocked or come with a "Warning" message (pop-up screen similar to respawn, but asking "do you wish to continue anyway"); mob behavior here would be an exception.

Easy Mode: player has to hit the angry mob for the angry mob to get feisty; the bee stings and llama spit might hurt, but they only do it once. Boss/trial chamber/dungeon areas come with a "Warning" message.

Normal Mode: normal mob behavior; business as usual, but make cats scratch if you corner them, tamed or not (why has Minecraft not made this a thing).

Hardcore Mode: the horses and cows will pass judgement for your crimes against them.

Xtreme Mode: the light cannot save you; enjoy your existence while it lasts.

As for the Backpack idea: barrel + 7 leather + 1 iron ingot. Loses durability every time it's opened. Has the equivalent slots of a barrel. Doesn't stack. Takes up a slot in normal inventory. Set down with right click while in hand, right click again opens it, left click disturbs so it can be picked up. Can be enchanted with Unbreaking, but not mending. Balances out for early game play or people that might never go to The End.

And then this was the third of the three recent discussions about potential future content for the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl series I did! This one was more focused on modes, collectibles, and the game around the game! So like possible dialogue between characters after matches, I wrote a bunch, or an adventure mode or even a big story! I tried to convey ideas with more doodles, and while I still think I'm no fancy artist I probably did get a bit better at drawing while working on these! I'm also super glad about all the sweet comments and passion, even the actual art director of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl over twitter responded that he loved these vids! That's all super sweet, and yeah, maybe you readin this might get some enjoyment outta this too!
