Did xmas stuff with parents yesterday (Bro and I both worked Xmas and rescheduled) with a round of negative covid tests that morning and spent like 6 hours hanging around the house.
Got a text like 3 hours after we got home that dad took another test before bed to prep for a funeral tomorrow and he got a positive.
And a second positive when he took a second test.
Love this for me.

Note
I need a part in the penny verse where the whole Eddie telling baby bump penny that her mom is going to be a MILF comes into play.
Like one we day the reader is picking up penny from school and maybe another kids dad flirts with her or like a new neighbor of theirs does and maybe Eddie’s reaction to that
Not even gonna front with you, I've been sitting on this for a min because I wrote it and then freaking forgot about it. I did take some creative liberties, but I think you'll like what I got for ya. Ps, ‘baby bump penny’ had my heart throwing up, I always forget that we get her in different phases of her existence and she was once in reader’s belly 🥹💘
to everyone else, sorry, I can't link shit but this is a follow up to a ton of other pennyverse entries so you can search that on my tumblr until the links work again. and i'm trying the keep reading cut again, let me know if it fucks up the post.

Summary: Something's been bothering you these last couple of weeks and you won't tell Eddie what it is. Like that'll stop him, he's determined to figure it out.
warnings: a creepy (and freaking terrible) dad hits on reader, implied unwelcome advances, crude comments about reader and the female body (eddie sets this fucker straight), protective!eddie :)

Eddie knew you. He knew every fiber of your being, every marker in your past, all the ways you liked to style your hair, how you decided on what makeup to put on that day—if you even wore any—,the different types of silence you’d sink into and what they meant, your body (god, he was intimately in tune with it), and every different smile you wore. Eddie knew you.
  He just didn’t know exactly what went on in that beautiful head of yours. Eddie was positive he had a sixth sense catered only to you, it’d let him know whenever there was something wrong, something bothering you. It prompted him to approach you, watch you even more than he already did. Putting himself metaphorically in your shoes usually helped him figure it out the rest of the way, but for this particular occurrence, he had nothing to go on.
  For the past couple of weeks, since Penny had started preschool, you’d moved your work schedule around to go in earlier so you’d be out in time to pick Penny up from school and snag the baby from Maude and Wayne, who watched him while you and Eddie were at work.
  Eddie noticed a change in you. It was minor at first, a little frazzled when he’d get home, but you hid it well. Now, you looked bothered. Always zoned out, with a frown on your face. You never left the house like that, always gave him and the kids kisses before you went on your merry way (well, as happy as you could be going to a desk job), so it had to be something that happened after you left home that bothered you.
  It wasn’t work, you’d rant to Eddie about it if you had a bad day but you liked to leave work problems at your desk when you left it, something about not being paid to worry or think about work after hours.
  It bugged the fuck out of him. He’d tried to approach the subject before, leaving you openings to tell him what was going on but you always shrugged it off and went on about your day as if you hadn’t been upset over something. You couldn’t hide it completely, though. Not from Eddie, he could still see those split seconds where your mind wandered off and the corners of your lips twitched down.
  Given how stubborn you were, Eddie decided he’d need to take a more hands on approach. Since he suspected something was happening after you left home in the mornings and before he got home from work, he’d have to be present for that timeframe.
  He’d left work around lunchtime, Norm was understanding about it and didn't really care all that much since it was a relatively slow day for business.
  His son had been delighted when he picked him up from his Grandpa and (grandma) Maude’s, squirming and wiggling in her hold until Eddie got a hold of him. Baby Wayne had immediately placed his hands on Eddie’s jaw, urging his dad to bend his head so he could rest his forehead against his own, those big eyes of his fluttering shut the moment they connected and soft coos of dada mumbled in between them, unlike Penny had, Wayne caught onto the baby babble of mama and dada. Penny hadn’t because one of you was always helicoptering around her so Princess Penny hadn’t felt the need.
Eddie would never get over how much his baby seemed to love cuddling with his parents, everytime baby Wayne was affectionate, he turned into goo, melting in his chubby hands. They lingered in the trailer for a couple of minutes while Eddie and big Wayne discussed how things were going in the apartment, though it had been more than a year since they’d moved in. Naturally, Wayne had asked why he was stopping by so early to pick up the baby so your change in demeanor came up in conversation.
  “Mmm, I been noticin’ ‘er actin’ odd whenever she comes to pick up little man. Seems fine when she gets ‘ere. ‘S when she leaves, she seems a little…”
  “Hesitant?” Eddie supplied and Wayne nodded, mouth pressed in a firm line.
  It was then that Maude Maple spoke up, something the widow rarely did in the presence of anyone other than Wayne, and it was with great hesitance.
  “She—she mentioned something once, about the pick up at Penny’s preschool. She didn’t go into too much detail, I think she’s bothered by it.”
  “Looks like I’m on pick-up duty today.”
  After leaving Wayne and Maude’s and asking the latter to give you a call at work to let you know he picked the baby up, Eddie spent the rest of the afternoon with baby Wayne. It involved a food fight—yes, Eddie flung some back at him, he had it coming, when Wayne had decided he was done being fed and done with food that wasn’t coming from your boob so he’d thrown the macaroni at his dad’s face—a shared shower to rid evidence of said food fight, jamming out (terribly) on toy musical instruments before Eddie gave him a bottle and some cuddles while he put Wayne down for his nap. . . And fell asleep with him.
  You came home to a suspiciously quiet apartment, a little too clean, save for a couple of toys in the living room. You found your boys in Wayne’s nursery, both of them in the crib.
  It was a heartwarming and comical sight, Eddie’s legs were dangling outside of the crib and the baby was curled up on his chest, though he stirred at the sound of the door opening, pushing himself up off his dad as he blinked lazily at you, mouth parting to reveal a couple of little white nubs in his gummy smile, teeth coming in.
  He cooed softly, once. When you didn’t immediately go pick him up, he let out a stream of coos, loud and demanding but still loving as he tried to entice you over. When you still stood there giggling, he got mad, seemingly joining you in your laughter with his fake and very forced sounding baby laugh which quickly morphed into fake cries as he pushed himself to his feet and stood on Eddie’s chest, clinging to the bars of his crib as though he were a locked up criminal.
  Eddie groaned, hands moving to grab your son and you finally made your way over, picking Wayne up—much to his utter delight—to relieve Eddie of his weight.
  “Ouch, dude. You can’t just stand on people like that, it’s rude.” He croaked out, as his son’s weight was lifted off of his chest.
  Eddie couldn’t even be annoyed, not when he could see Wayne scrambling eagerly in your arms, face rubbing into your neck, chest, cheek, anywhere the little guy could reach in his desperation and excitement to be as close as he could to his mama.
  After giving Wayne’s tummy some tickles, amplifying his excited wiggles with a few ‘so excited, so excited’s, you leaned over so the both of you could stare down at Eddie, amusement cloaking your pretty features.
  “I think it might be time to get you a big boy bed.”
  Eddie huffed out a laugh and then groaned once more as he tried to sit up as much as he could, which wasn’t a whole lot given the fact half of him was hanging out of the crib.
  “This is gonna be fun,” he mumbled, but eventually he was able to maneuver himself out of it without breaking it. He placed his hands on his lower back, arching until it gave away to a satisfying pop.
  “Oh, yeah. That’s good.”
  “Daddy’s so silly, huh?” You asked your son, bouncing him in your arms as you placed a kiss on his curly head before directing your next question to Eddie, “Is everything okay, baby?”
  “Just peachy, honey.” He was definitely gonna have to ask you to rub his back tonight. “Wanted to have some one-on-one time with him, even if he regularly abandons me the moment you’re in sight.”
  Eddie reached a finger out to tickle Wayne’s stomach, smirking when he laughed and tried to hide further in your hold.
  You smiled at their interaction, though the joy quickly flitted from your expression, “Do you want to watch him? While I go pick up Penny?”
  Another obvious tell something was wrong: you’d chosen to come home, put an intentional stop between getting off of work and picking up Penny. It was almost as though you needed time to prepare yourself, which was a giant freaking red flag to Eddie considering you used to drive straight over to her school and wait for her.
  “Why don’t you stay with him? I can go pick her up.”
  The light returned to your eyes.
  “Really? I mean—I don’t mind, I don’t want to get in the way of your bonding time.”
  “He’s clearly over me,” The sentence was whispered at his son with fake aggression, which left Wayne a giggling mess once more, Eddie chuckled and gave his son’s chin an affectionate squeeze and wiggle, “I’ll pick up Princess Penelope, she loves the disapproving looks people give me.”
“Shut up!” You laughed, leaning up to give him a kiss before he snatched his keys off the counter.
“I’ll see you soon, beautiful.”
“Say bye-bye to daddy!” You encouraged your baby, bouncing him a little against your hip. “Buh-buh.” He waved his chunky little hand, smiling wide for his dad.
When Eddie collapsed into the door, hand clenched over his heart, you added, “Blow daddy a kiss!” Baby Wayne lifted his palm to his mouth briefly before extending his arm out in Eddie’s direction, “Mah!” Eddie pretended to catch it, smacked the invisible kiss over his mouth and blew one right back at his baby before he forced himself out the door.
   His kid was so cute, it was a federal offense. The drive to Penny’s preschool was short, thanks to living close by. Eddie hopped out of the van–he and a couple of the guys from the shop installed a backseat prior to Penny’s birth–and made his way to the waiting area. Eddie had never gone to a preschool as a kid so he couldn’t exactly judge the pick up and drop off routine, but Penny’s preschool rarely allowed anyone in. They simply walked  up to one of the entrance doors, rang a special doorbell attached to the building, and one of the teachers or aides or whatever would verify the adult picking them up if they didn’t recognize them and then bring the kid out.
  Which meant Eddie had to stand around with other adults. There’d been a couple of them already waiting when he’d arrived, so he’d made himself comfortable on a nearby column as he waited, mind once more preoccupied with reasons as to why you didn’t seem to enjoy picking Penny up anymore. You liked Penny’s teacher, could it be one of the aides giving you a hard time? No. That’s something you would have told him.
Eddie was so distracted, he hadn’t noticed another body settle against the wall across from him.
“You a new dad? Haven’t seen you around before.”
  “What?” Eddie blinked, roused from his thoughts. The guy across from him looked like he was in his mid thirties, dressed in a skeezy suit that looked like it belonged on a car lot rather than an office, and had really big, overly white teeth he couldn’t seem to put away.
“Not a new dad, a new dad to this school. Although, you do look a little young.” The stranger clarified with a shrug.
There was something about him that Eddie immediately disliked. He could tell this was not only their first interaction, it would also be their last.
“No, I usually do the drop off.” Eddie stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jacket, eyes flashing back to the entrance door just in time to make eye contact with one of the aides, he saw the recognition in her eyes before she closed the door again and felt less annoyed with the situation knowing she’d be retrieving Penny.
  He hadn’t really left room for conversation, but the guy still continued.
  “Gotcha, gotcha.” His head bobbed around, Eddie thought if he listened carefully enough, he could hear his brain rattling in there, “I used to be on drop off duty myself, but I hated getting the kids ready. I’ve got four of those little monsters, every little task takes goddamn near twenty minutes.” Oh, no. This guy didn’t say it with annoyance, no, he seemed contemptuous when he talked about his kids. Eddie didn’t like that.
“Wouldn’t be so bad if my wife could just get a grip on them,” Maybe she could if she had help, you’re clearly useless, “Name’s Neil, by the way.” Eddie just raised his chin in acknowledgement. One would think ol’ Neil would catch on to Eddie not wanting to talk to him, but one would be wrong. “Yup. ‘S why I’m not on drop off duty. Sure, the pick up has its faults, kids always smell like a stale fart from all that running around and they’re babbling non-stop the whole ride, but I think you’ll find you’ll like being on pick-up duty,” Then he leaned in, like he was telling a secret and whispered out, “Most of the hot moms do the pick-ups.”
  That sixth sense Eddie had for you? Yeah, it was on freaking fire, hot red and jumping around. He was positive he now knew the reason behind your discomfort with picking Penny up.
  Some fucking creep wouldn’t leave you alone. Eddie’s jaw ticked, hands clenched into fists from the insides of his pockets. He didn’t say anything, but that wasn’t necessary with this guy.
“Man, you should see some of them. You gotta wonder why they only have one kid, I’d be all over that.” He gave a low whistle before he let out the most unflattering of cackles.
  “You missed most of the show, but there’s this one mom–god, the body on this one. . .and she’s always done up, think she works in an office or something, but she’s a sight for sore eyes. A real MILF. She’s only got one kid, too. Little girl she picks up, so you know she’s tight.”
Eddie would be committing a crime, because he knew he was talking about you. He was going to murder this asshole. He was gonna strangle Neil with his own intestines and get rid of the body in the town dump where he belonged.
  He must have not noticed the crazed glint in Eddie’s eyes because the idiot kept going, “I know what you’re thinking, I’m not actively planning on doing anything. Haven’t seen her in a couple of days, pretty sure she’s working late or something because she’s gotta be snatching this kid up late. Heard she’s married to some greasy mechanic and a pretty little thing like that coming to pick up her kid with these dads around? Shit, I wouldn’t be letting her out of the house. He’s signing her up for this. You gotta wonder if she likes the attention. She’s got this shy thing going on, though. Always so meek when I’m chatting her up. Not like my wife.” Neil’s face contorted in disdain, “Four fucking kids, man.” Okay, Eddie would be murdering him on behalf of you, and his wife. And the rest of the human population. He’d had enough, it was time to make sure this shit wouldn’t be continuing. “You got any pictures?” Eddie asked, feigning interest for the first time since he’d come up to him. Neil scoffed and dug around in his pocket, “Wife won’t let me go anywhere without them, you know how it is. Constant reminders and all that, like she doesn’t trust me to not forget.”
Eddie tried not to snatch the photo out of his slimy hands, frown deepening when he realized Neil’s story about having a wife and kids was not in fact made up. Four beaming little faces stared back up at Eddie, with a pretty fifth smile in the picture. She was severely out of her husband’s league, seemingly juggling all the responsibilities on her own, all of them underappreciated and unfortunately stuck with him.
“Beautiful family,” He commented, eyes flashing to the door just as it opened to reveal Penny and the aide. He returned the photo and pulled out his wallet from his pocket by its chain. Eddie flashed the photo inside to Neil, who immediately looked like he was going to shit himself. The photo was of you sitting on the couch, Wayne sitting between your legs and Penny standing on the cushion next to you, clutching your shoulder as you all smiled for him.
  Eddie slipped the wallet back into his pocket, and just as Penny began to run over, he leaned in to whisper like Neil had earlier, “Here’s what’s gonna happen: you're not ever gonna talk to my wife again or I’ll fuck you up. If you so much as look in her direction, I’ll kill you. If you think about her, I’ll beat you 'til the bones of my knuckles break through the skin. I’ll make sure you experience pain like you’ve never felt before. Bones can heal, but I promise you they don’t grow back, you pathetic fucking worm. You don’t deserve your wife, who gave you four fucking beautiful children, and you don’t deserve your kids, either. If I ever see her in public, I’m gonna tell her that so you’d better start appreciating her now. I’ve got a friend who wants a ton of kids and I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me sending him their way. Got it?” Neil, good ol’ clammy, pale faced Neil swallowed hard and silently nodded as Penny finally reached him, arms already outstretched. Eddie swooped her up before she ran into him, relishing in the way her arms wrapped tightly around him in a hug. And this fucker was annoyed to have four little people who gave him these.
“Hi, sweet pea! Daddy’s just gonna finish up this conversation with Neil here and we’ll head home to mama, okay?”
Penny nodded eagerly, turning her head to stare inquisitively at the man she knew was her friend Izzy’s dad.
  Eddie took Penny’s backpack off of her with her help and slid it over his free arm, “I’m glad we understand each other, Neil. And if we don’t, my buddy Steve’s on speed dial.”
  He smirked as he walked away, leaving Neil both dumbstruck and terror stricken. Eddie didn’t even stop when he recalled a small inaccuracy Neil had mentioned, calling over his shoulder, “And we have two kids!”
What a jerk.
“Tell me about your day?” Eddie asked as he slid open the backseat door and leaned forward so Penny could climb into her booster seat. “Oh, boy, daddy! It was long! First, teacher said we were gonna draw with crayons but she change-ed her mind and we got to paint with our fingers instead!” She displayed her clean, paint free fingers for him as Eddie buckled her in, “Oh, yeah? Did you paint me a picture?” “Yeah, ‘s in my pack pack. But we only gotted to paint for a little while ‘cause Stanley tried to eat it.” “Not again, Stanley.” “I know!” Penny filled him in the rest of the drive home, while he got her out of her seat, the entire walk into the apartment building, only stopping when he opened the door for her and she caught sight of you. “MOMMY!” She let go of Eddie’s hand to run into your waiting arms. “Hi, baby! Did you have a good day at school?” You asked after you’d gotten in a good cuddle squeeze. “Uh huh! I painted with my fingers!” Penny ran back to Eddie and dug around in the backpack now dangling at his side until she retrieved a very poorly folded piece of thick paper. “I gotta show Waynie, first!” She bypassed you and ran straight for her baby brother, who was clutching the seat cushion of the couch and bobbing up and down. He’d be walking any day now. Eddie set Penny’s yellow backpack down on the counter as he closed the distance between you, arms wrapping around your middle to pull you flush up against him. “I don’t know how you do it, they make you wait forever.” He groaned, pressing his forehead to yours as you laughed. “It’s not that bad!”
“Yeah, well, regardless, you should be having a much easier time picking her up.”
It was easy for you to read between the lines and pick up his real meaning. Your eyes widened in surprise for a moment before they softened, and you leaned further into him, hands resting on Eddie’s shoulders. “Thank you.” You’d been afraid to mention the invasive and unwelcome attention you’d gained from one of the dads. Ashamed. He’d been vulgar, blatant and creepy. Even on the days he wouldn't approach you, you could still feel his eyes on you, on your body. It made you feel gross and cheap, even though you hadn’t done anything wrong. You’d politely tried to get away from him when you’d find yourself in that situation, but where you went, he followed. Soon, you’d begun waiting in your parked car until Neil left, and when that wasn’t good enough, you’d either go home and wait until just before they closed–which you hated because you didn’t like to keep Penny waiting there when she could be at home–or wait in the parking lot at work until you’d make it when all the other kids were mostly gone. It was draining, and made you dread the end of the work day.
“You never have to thank me,” Eddie leaned down just as you leaned up to kiss him, mouths mingling a little more on the wet side since you knew neither of your kids’ attention was on you. When you finally broke away, Eddie licked his lips and sighed. “Seriously, though. I don’t know how you do it. Men are gross and creepy, I wanted to deck him before he even really said anything. And what he did say–ugh. Let me know if you see his head turn in your direction, honey, ‘cause I made a promise I’m eager to not break.” You hummed appreciatively as you leaned up for more kisses, “My hero.”

AITA for arguing with my mom over toys?
I (15) have ADHD and autism and my mom (65) knows but doesn't really believe it. So right now, my hyper fixation is spiderman and barbie. I'm like obsessed and I love looking out for cool toys or merch of them. I rarely ever ask if I can buy them- I don't have a job yet so I have to ask my parents, but when I do it's usually a no. Wich I'm not usually too upset about, I get it. I'm a bit bitter about it, given that when my brothers (18 and 19) ever ask for something my parents will get them it with no questions asked. Besides the point.
A while back, we where in target and I was looking in the toy isle and there are these spiderman figurines and they have ones of spot, Gwen, Peter and Miles. I was obsessed the moment I saw them and asked my mom if I could get Gwen cause she's my absolute favorite. And she said no because she already has all of them at home. She hadn't told me this before but i was excited cause she showed me photos and she had all four of the dolls along with the new Margo Robbie and Ryan gosling barbie and ken dolls. The entire time she was making it out like she had gotten them for me, and I was super excited.
When we got home I waited for a bit, kinda thinking she'd bring them out and show me, but she never did so I eventually just asked "hey! Can I see the Spider-Man dolls?" And she said "no I've already put them away." Turns out she has all of them but she had no intention of ever giving me them and they're all in a bag in her closet. And so I was upset and went down to my room and ended up having a good cry cus this isn't the first time she's done something like this.
Skip forward to today, we where at Walmart and I see the Spider-Man dolls and ask if I could get one and she said "no you already have them." So I said "no, you have them. You keep them in the closet, those aren't mine." She argued back saying that they would be worthless if we took them out. (She has no intention to sell them.) But it went like that and she ended up saying fine and letting me get Gwen. She also let me get one of those 5 dollar Barbies and a Tin of popcorn that was spiderverse themed cus again, hyper fixation.
When we where leaving the restraunt, she made a snide comment telling me she spends so much on me and how I'm so ungrateful. I always say thank you and I always ask before putting things in the cart and I take good care of the dolls I have.
Later today I heard her complaining to my dad (69 haha) about it and calling me a spoiled brat and now I'm worried that I'm just being a bad person and wondering if I'm actually an asshole.
Sorry if this was all over the place, I go off on tangents alot.
What are these acronyms?

Not A Quitter
Pairings: stepbro!JJ x stepsis!reader
Warnings: MDNI, unsolicited dick pic, stepcest, p in v, unprotected sex, creampie, oral (both receive), slight dark JJ at the end, etc.
Summary: stepbro JJ accidentally sends you a dick pic meant for someone else
Authors Note: Hi! Another Random Dick Pic! Please don't click unless you are 18+!!! Proceed at your own risk! Unedited, sorry if it's terrible, this was a quick finish up from my drafts.
Tumblr media
You were just trying to study in your room peacefully. The lyrics to 18 by One Direction filled your ears as you were writing down notes for your exam in history class tomorrow.
As your favorite part was coming up, you paused so you could sing along to it. You were waiting to hear Niall's 'we took a chonce' but it never came. A notification had interrupted it. You received a snap from your step-brother JJ. He probably wanted to know what you were going to make for dinner since your mom and his dad were out.
You clicked on the picture not expecting what you saw next.
🔥Jayj🔥:
(Authors Note: MDNI!!! This is a RANDOM dick pic I found online. Please proceed at your own risk.)
"Whatcha doin tonight baby?"
*Y/N POV*
I knew it was meant for someone else but he really turned me on. I figured he didn't even notice yet. This was probably so bad of me but it felt really good to do this.
I took my top off and snapped him back with a picture of my tits. Next thing I know I hear a few slams and what I assume is JJ running to my room. "What the fuck??" He said exploding into my room like I did something wrong. I was still sitting topless at my desk. "Why did you send me a picture of your tits??" He questioned but it looked like he was starting to blush. "Why did you send me a picture of your dick??" I yelled back at him. His face went pale. "What do you mean?!" JJ seemed very anxious at this point. "You sent me a picture of your big cock and asked what I was doing." I gave him doe eyes after my statement, but I could tell he couldn't keep his eyes on anything but my 38DD's.
"I-I didn't mean to send that to you I'm sorry." JJ looked softly at me bending down to his knees when he realized I was a little upset. "I'm not saying I didn't enjoy what I saw, or what I'm still seeing, it was just, my picture was meant to go to Kiara." I still hung my head low. "Hey you're gorgeous, and I love your tits, they are so perky and fucking perfect." He said reaching out his hands to touch them and I let him. "So...fucking...perfect." I looked into his eyes. I could tell something was bugging him.
"What's wrong?" I begged, wanting to know what was clouding that beautiful head of his. "I just- I'm getting nowhere with Kie and I still sent that shit anyway, knowing I'd be alone in my room, playing with myself." He tried to look down but I wouldn't let him. I tilted his head back up with my pointer finger. "I can help you Jayj." I say almost too fast. "But wouldn't that be wrong? We are step siblings now." He had a point but so did I. "True, but we aren't blood related, and you break the rules 24/7. Plus are you really going to turn down getting your dick sucked, and possibly more?" His eyes widened as I continued my statement. "And, you just fondled my tits, I think it's a little too late to worry about being step siblings." I let out a small chuckle.
He let an awkward pause sit between my last speech and what he did next. JJ put his hands on both sides of my face pulling me into the deepest kiss I've ever had. His lips never left mine as he started pulling my shorts and panties off. Before I could say anything his hand snaked between my legs and his fingers started toying with my clit. He pulled our lips apart and rested his forehead on mine while I moaned for him.
"You're already so wet for me baby." My eyes were closed but I could see his dumbass smirk in my head. He slipped his finger between my folds, but never went further. This bitch was teasing me. My eyes were pinched shut, hoping for more contact. Next thing I know, I feel his warm, wet tongue slowly lap at my clit. I couldn't help but lightly hump his tongue. "More...Jayj-" I moaned out. He reached up and grabbed my right boob which caused me to look down at him. I was greeted with the darkest, sexiest, hungriest, pair of eyes I have ever seen, and they were between my thighs. Without taking his eyes off mine he licked my clit back and forth painfully slowly. I went to shut my eyes again when I felt a sting on my pussy, he had just slapped it which of course got my attention. "Eyes on me princess." That was almost enough to send me over the edge. He went back to my clit, sucking on it this time and actually inserting a finger. I was a moaning mess for him. He loved every minute of it. He also loved hearing his name or his nickname slip from my lips. "Jayj- I'm-Im close."
I shouldn't have said a word. He stopped everything he was doing immediately after I said that. I frowned and whined at the lack of contact.
Without saying anything he got up and tossed me over his shoulder, taking me to my bed and playfully throwing me onto it. Before he got on the bed with me he undressed himself which was very pleasant to watch. I know I just saw his dick over Snapchat, but damn it was even better in person. He was on his knees on the bed in front of me. His hand found the back of my head and lightly nudged me forward. "Come here princess, help me out a little."
My lips met his tip, giving a few small pecks before slowly taking him in my mouth. I swirled my tongue around which resulted in JJ throwing his head back. He gripped my hair and began pushing down so I would go up and down.
(A/N: A little background information, if you wanna skip go to the next A/N.)
I did whatever this man wanted me to do. I had always liked JJ, even before our parents met. We were actually the reason they met. JJ and I have been best friends since middle school and with all the trouble we used to get into, our parents met several times. We grew a bit apart because of them deciding to marry each other. JJ and I had a weird..thing going on before our parents became a couple. Sometimes when we were curious we would go to each other and see what would happen. Nothing ever really came from it other than lots of kissing and sometimes some heavy petting. We called all of that off two years ago though. When he had come to the conclusion that he couldn't have me anymore, he ran to Kiara, and she was ready for that immediately. Everything was going great for them I guess, other than now, she's not even really responding to his messages.
(A/N: End of Information.)
When he was near his breaking point, I released my mouth and laid on my back. He crawled on top of me, starting a little make out session. I couldn't help my hand from finding his cock and rubbing him as we kissed. "Here baby, let's get you in a nice position." He flipped me over into doggystyle. This man was not wasting time anymore. He stuck his cock inside me as soon as I flipped over. We gasped in unison as he slipped himself into my tight pussy. "Are you trying to make me bust right now?" He let out a little chuckle which made my response a giggle. "Didn't take you for a one minute quitter Maybank." I had to tease him, I knew it would stir him up and in turn I would get dicked down harder.
And I did.
Without saying a word he began pulling my hips back to meet his. He was defending his honor, no one insulted him in such a way. He grabbed my hair and tied it around his hand, pulling me back far enough to feel some strain. He pounded harder making sure I would remember every detail from this moment. I couldn't stop my moan from exploding out of my mouth. "What was that baby? Is this too much for you? You wanna quit, slut?" I knew what he was fucking doing. He's not slick, I mean he is but not like that. "I'm not a quitter, unlike you." This riled him up even more. He went harder, spanking me until my ass was nearly bleeding. My vision was foggy and I knew nothing but pleasure. He only went harder and faster with every thrust. "Fuck I'm g-gonna cum." I barely got out. Before he could even react, I came all over his dick. Damn it. He didn't finish yet. I was tossed onto my back, into missionary, without his dick ever exiting me.
I felt a hot sting on my cheek. "Did I say you could cum, slut?!" It was almost difficult to take JJ so seriously while calling me that. He continued fucking my tight hole, I was already very sensitive so tears began to prick at my eyes. "N-no.." He lightly tapped my sensitive nub, repeatedly. "Then why did you?" JJ asked with a stern voice, keeping his quick pace. "I don't know, I'm sorry." "You're gonna be sorry slut, cause we aren't done yet." His thrusts were getting sloppy so I knew he was close. Eventually he came inside me, making sure he shoved all the cum that slipped out, right back in.
I started breathing and getting comfortable in bed. "What do you think you're doing princess?" He asked with that same harsh tone. "Getting ready for bed." I was a little confused. "I said, we. aren't. done. yet." He settled behind me reaching his arms out in front of me. "But you-u" "Oh, are you quitting?" He smirked. This bitch. "Game on." We went all night long. Needless to say, I think we are both very competitive.

step bro jschlatt?
YES OMG my first request! Thank you so much, anon!18+ (Or what ever your legal adult age is below the cut!)Disclaimer: I am a pathetic virgin so this probs won't be good. (I'm figuring you'd wanted smut...) so sorry if i mistook that.
When your mom first introduced you to Jeremy and his son, you were polite, of course. This guy made your mom happy, and you weren't going to do anything to ruin that, God knows your dad made her upset enough before he did you all a favor and left. That's not to say that it was easy, considering how obnoxious Schlatt was.
Schlatt made it painfully obvious he wanted to be anywhere but at that dinner. The entire time, he was fixated on his phone, not paying attention to anything being said, or the glares his dad kept shooting him, and undressing every waitress that passed by with his eyes. What a dick. He was even so full of himself to not go by his first name.
A few months down the road after Jeremy proposed, you and Schlatt were forced to spend more time with each other, being the maid of honor and best man. Venue tours, tastings, wedding details to be discussed in your new family chat, Schlatt of course only chiming in when he was forced.
Walking down the aisle next to Schlatt was the closest you two had ever been, stiffly linking your arm with his, cheesy picture day smiles stapled to your lips, pretending like you didn't hate each other.
As the years went on, you relationship with Schlatt changed. You still didn't like each other, but he talked more at family dinners and didn't seem like he wanted to off himself anytime you had to go somewhere together.
The downside of Schlatt getting more comfortable in the new family dynamic was now you argued like brother and sister.
You were watching a movie by yourself one day, lounging on the couch in the living room when Schlatt walked in, stood in your way for a minute, and then when you asked him to move, proceeded to halfway sit on you.
"Schlatt get off of me!"
"I'm not on you."
"Yes you are asshole, now get off." You told him, shoving and kicking him off you.
"Kids, please you're 16 and 17 years old. You don't need to argue like this all the time anymore." Jeremy shouted from the kitchen.
"But Dad he started it!" you cried. Schlatt just scoffed.
"I did not, the little princess is taking up the entire couch."
"Am not."
"Are too."
"Am not."
"Are too."
"Y/N, Jonathan, so help me I hear one more word from either of you you're both grounded." your mom cut in.
Glaring at Schlatt you sat up so your feet weren't taking up so much space as Schlatt moved to the other end of the couch.
"You guys will have the house to yourselves tomorrow, your mom and I are going out of town to visit a friend, and we won't be back until Saturday night." Jeremy informed.
"Fine."
"Alright."
Answering disinterestedly, you and Schlatt kept watching the movie.
After school the next day, you waited for Schlatt at his truck. It'd been a long day, and you were getting a headache; you just wanted to go home and sleep.
"Alright Ted, I'll see you later. Yeah, 7:00 sounds great, see you then." You heard Schlatt speak into his phone, finally walking up.
"You going out tonight?" You asked, hopeful that you'd have the house to yourself for a nice, quiet night.
"You'd like that, wouldn't you? No, Ted and Charlie are coming over." Schlatt answered, dropping into the drivers seat next to you and starting the car.
"Do they have to come over tonight? I was kind of just wanting a quiet night, go to bed early." You knew how loud and annoying Schlatt could get with his friends.
"It's not my fault you're fucking lame, princess. The world doesn't revolve around you." He answers, looking over his shoulder to back out, hand on the back of your head rest.
"Fine, Schlatt." You rested your head on the window, not in any mood to argue.
After getting home you dumped your bag on the kitchen table before heading to the medicine cabinet searching for ibuprofen.
Popping a few you headed upstairs to your room.
"I'm heading to bed early. Please try to be quiet with the guys tonight." you practically begged.
"You feeling okay?" Schlatt asked, seeing you take the medicine.
"I'm fine, just a headache. Goodnight."
You passed out pretty quickly, waking up a few hours later, your stomach growling.
Hearing the strangely quiet house you walked downstairs to find something to eat, seeing Schlatt sitting on the couch by himself, scrolling through his phone with some show playing in the background.
Noticing the time, you figured that his friends would be here by now.
"Where are Ted and Charlie?" you asked, voice rough from sleep, startling Schlatt.
"I told them I changed my mind." Schlatt said plainly. You wondered if it had anything to do with your headache.
"Too bad." you said, rubbing your eyes.
"I ordered a pizza, there's some left if you're hungry." Schlatt called, looking over his shoulder at you.
"Oh. Thank you." you whispered, seeing the pizza box sitting on the counter.
Walking over and opening the cardboard lid you saw your favorite toppings. Schlatt was always sure to make fun of your tastes in pizza whenever you had it as a family, so you were surprised. Nevertheless, you took a slice, quickly eating it before you took another piece and walked into the family room, sitting by Schlatt on the couch.
"What are you watching?"
"Hm? Oh. I'm not sure, haven't really been paying attention.
"Mmm."
You sat in a strange silence. Not the usual comfortable 'We're-not-firends-but-we're-forced-to-be-around-each-other-so-we'll-deal-with-it' kind. This was...awkward.
"So-- how are you feeling, princess?"
Schlatt must have noticed it too.
"Oh, um. Better. Thanks."
"Good."
Back to silence.
"Schlatt?"
"Hmm?"
"What made you change your mind about tonight?"
Your step-brother was quiet for a moment.
"I figured you'd wanted you sleep. You seemed quiet on the ride home and then you took the medicine-- I just thought it'd be best if it was just us tonight."
"Thank you, Schlatt. That was --sweet --of you."
This was different. This was the nicest you had ever been to each other.
"You're welcome, (y/n)."
Another heavy silence.
"This is weird right?" You asked.
"Oh, so fucking. I'm glad you caught that too."
Smiling you reach over and steal the remote off the couch arm next to him.
"What the hell do you think you're doing with that?" Schlatt moved to take it back.
"I wanna watch a movie and you're not even paying attention to the TV right now."
"Was too."
"Was not."
"Brat."
"Asshole."
Schlatt smiled towards to you. This was normal. This was how it was supposed to be.
"Fine, just don't put anything stupid on."
"I would never do such a thing. Alexa play Twilight Breaking Dawn." you say, looking straight into his eyes and trying not to laugh.
‐----------------
"Shut the fuck up it was all fake?"
"A vision of the future, yes."
"Unbelievable. This series actually puts in a good scene and that's what they do with it? Take it all back?"
You and Schlatt had been making fun of the movie the entire time, it was the most fun you'd ever had with him. You actually had close to the same humor and were getting along pretty well.
Calming down from you laughing fit you let out a big sigh as you lean your head back.
"Why don't you think we've ever gotten along?" You ask, turning to face him.
"What do you mean?" He asks, leaning back into the couch.
"You've always seemed like you hated me or something. Like I was this big inconvenience that came into your life."
"I never hated you, princess. I don't know, I think it might have just been hard, you know? Mom had been gone for what seemed like 10 minutes and all of a sudden Dad is dating this woman and I have a new step-sister. It kinda seemed like he'd forgotten her and our family."
"I've never thought about that."
You knew that Schlatt's mom hadn't been gone long before Jeremy was out on the dating scene again, only a few months really, but you didn't think about the fact that Schlatt actually loved his mom, had a good relationship with her. It wasn't like you, who hadn't cared about your other biological parent.
"I'm sorry, Schlatt." You said, putting your hand on his shoulder and squeezing.
"I'm sorry I made you feel that way all this time, Princess."
Schlatt looks over at you, and you can tell he's the most sincere you've ever heard him speak. And in that moment, you realized how bright his eyes were when he was happy, more of an amber instead of the chocolate brown you'd originally thought. His slight smile, the scar on his strong chin you'd learned he'd gotten from playing baseball when he was little. So many little things you were too busy hating him to notice before. And then, you noticed how close you were sitting, bodies turned towards each other, his arm across the back of the couch behind you. You didn't have time to register any of it before you noticed his lips on yours.
The kiss was warm, gave you chills, firm, soft, hungry, caring, everything it could be all at once. And wrong. But god, it felt so right. Your eyes fluttered shut --
And then it ended. Schlatt pulled away, and scooted as far back from you as he possibly could.
"(y/n) I am so sorry. I kind of just got caught up in the moment, and you were sitting there and you had that sweet look on your face that you always have, and your hair looked so good, and your lips looked so soft and -- God i'm so stupid. I'm so so sorry--"
"Schlatt--"
"I know, it shouldn't have happened. It just felt right in the moment and I--"
"Would you shut the hell up? I'm not mad."
"You're not?"
"Listen, yeah the situation isn't exactly ideal. But it's not like you're actually my brother."
Schlatt scooted the tiniest bit closer to you. You could see the little hamster wheel in his head spinning, calculating every little move he did.
You decided to test the waters and scooted closer to him.
His hand inches closer until it's resting on your thigh, but once it is he can't keep them off you. You're pulled into him, one hand in your hair, the other pulling your leg over his before sliding it up your back. His lips are fighting hard for dominance over yours, and just for good measure his tongue decided to come out to play too.
"Schlatt-" you whisper a moan. Pulling away to catch your breath, your head leans back and Schlatt moved to suck on your neck. Catching his lips in a kiss you mumble out a soft admonition.
"No hickeys."
"Wanna mark you up baby." Schlatt growls out.
"But what would mom and dad say?" You weren't necessarily the most popular with guys at school and you'd never brought a guy over.
Groaning Schlatt moves away from your neck.
"I know you're right, but, fuck Princess." He looks all over your flushed face, before racing his eyes over the rest of your body, his once shining amber eyes dark, pupils blown wide with lust.
Smiling you press your lips against his again, craving something you'd gone so long without.
You can feel Schlatt smile as his hands trail down your back before sneaking past your shirt, tickling the small of your back.
It wasn't enough for you. Reaching down you pull your shirt over your head and hear a repressed moan from the man sitting beneath you.
"You're perfect." Schlatt breathes before leaning in and kissing your bare chest, thanks to your decision to forego a bra during your nap.
Tangling your fingers in his thick chocolate curls you tug, trying to assert the slightest bit of dominance.
Schlatts fingers dug hard into your hips, holding you tight to his lap, making sure you could feel what you were doing to him between your thighs.
Rocking slightly seeking for any kind of friction, you're almost immediately pushed on your back, lying with Schlatt hovering over you. His body was so warm...so hard against yours....
"Gotta be careful, Princess," Schlatt pulled you from your thoughts. Leaning down to brush his lips against yours, he mumbles a quiet "or I won't be able to stop myself from fucking you right here."
This was it, there was no coming back from what had been said. Both of you knew that, and something told you neither of you cared in the slightest.
"Then don't." You leaned up, pressing your lips fully against his, trying to show him how much you needed him.
Schlatt returned the kiss with the same if not more enthusiasm, before lifting himself slightly to take his shirt off. He didn't outwardly show it, but Schlatt was built like a mountain, strong and broad, and no one had ever looked so good to you.
Leaning back down to kiss you, you place your hands on his mutton chops, slightly scratching his cheeks with your nails as his hands travel from your neck down your chest, stopping to slightly tease your hardening nipples, drawing a whine from you.
"Aww, does my baby like that?" Schlatt moves to your neck again leaving hot open mouthed kisses.
"Mmhmm," you babble, your pleasure making your brain foggy. You can feel Schlatt chuckle against your throat.
Giving one of your nipples another quick flick, Schlatts longer fingers tickle down your stomach, stopping to run along the waist band of your leggings, which you'd decided were too hot to wear any longer
"Please take them off, Schlatt."
"Please what, Princess?"
"P-Please, Daddy."
"Good Girl" Schlatt purred into your ear before sitting up to slide your leggings down your legs.
Schlatt watched with wide eyes, taking in every inch of revealed skin.
"God, baby. These legs are going to be the death of me."
"Oh. Shame, I thought maybe it'd be drowning between them." You whispered.
And then immediately cringed.
Schlatt barked out a laugh. "That was the lamest thing you've ever said, and you've said a lot."
"Fuck you."
"Oh, no, Princess. I think you've got that confused." Schlatt leaned back in once your leggings were off and captured you lips with his, letting his tongue explore every inch of your mouth.
God was he a good kisser. You were already nearly out of breath and moaning into his mouth. Your fingernails were digging into his back, holding on for dear life, too out of it to even think that you might be hurting him.
But as good as this was, you knew you needed more. Needed him, all of him on top of you, inside you, under you. Wrapping your legs around his waist, you tried your best to push his sweatpants down.
Schlatt took your hint and pushed his sweats and boxers down, letting his dick spring out, harder than anything you'd ever seen and perfectly curved.
His kisses became desparate before moving to your neck, sucking hickeys before you could stop him as he ripped your damp thong off.
Breaking the kiss you look down in surprise. "Schlatt!"
"Shut up i'll buy you a new one I promise." He barely spit out before kissing you again.
Letting his tip kiss against you your back arched from the stimulation you'd been craving.
"Good baby girl. You like that, huh? Like feeling Daddy's cock? God it's barely touching you, you little slut."
All you could do was nod, who the fuck knows what he was saying to you.
Kneeling, Schlatt looked down, watching him push further into you.
"Schlatt-"
"Shh. It's okay honey. I know, I know it feels so good, doesn't it? Now open that gorgeous little mouth for me."
Letting you mouth fall open Schlatt pushed in two of his fingers, making you gag.
"Oh, are they too much for you, sweetie? Are my fingers too thick for you? Jesus Christ how are you ever going to take my cock? Come on, baby, you need your practice. Suck on your Daddy's fingers."
Taking a deep breath you shut your eyes, doing your best to focus on sucking on his fingers, pressing your tongue against them.
"That's it, angel."
Once he had you preoccupied he trailed his other hand across your thigh. "I'm going to push all the way in now, Angeltits. It's going to hurt, but I'll go fast I promise."
Nodding against his fingers, Schlatt pulls them from your mouth, now covered in your saliva and placing both of his hands against your hips before pushing the rest of his length in.
Throwing your head back you gasped, hot tears falling from your eyes and a sharp stinging taking over.
Schlatt immediately leaned down, hands coming up to hold yours against the bed on either side of your head, kissing your tear streaked cheeks before whispering reassurances against your lips
"Shh. I know baby, I know. Just hold on, it's going to feel so much better, I promise. I'm gonna take care of you honey. That's my girl. So good for me, aren't you Princess? Just hold on to me baby."
"It's so much, Daddy."
"I know. Don't worry that's all you'll have to take until your ready, yeah? M'right here my love."
Hearing the sweet words fall from his lips another round of tears form in your eyes for an entirely different reason. Wrapping your arms around his neck you pull him close to you, chests pressed against chests, wanting him as close as possible to you.
After a while and the paid had faded you started to feel how full you were and how nice it felt. It was like a piece you never realized was missing was put back in place and you were whole.
Kissing Schlatt's cheek you nod, silently asking him to keep going.
"Yeah?"
"Mm. Slowly?"
"Of course, baby. Anything you want."
Schlatt slowly starts to move back and forth, inch by inch, letting you get used to the feeling. He knew this was your first time, and he was going to make sure that it was the greatest experience for you.
And what an experience you were having. You didn't even know something could make you feel as good as you felt right now. Even when you would try to take care of yourself, it was nothing compared to this. The feeling was making you arch your back, crane your neck, grip the cushion beneath you, doing anything you could to just--let out this feeling.
"Shit-" You let out.
"Feeling okay, sweet cheeks?" Schlatt smirked out.
A moan chased away whatever you were about to say as he hit a spot inside you. A spot that had your toes curling.
"I'll take that as a yes."
Once Schlatt reached a steady pace of moving in and out of you, his hand moved between your legs, gently brushing against you.
"So wet, baby."
He continued his ministrations and hip movements, going faster and faster and each thrust he seemed to press his hips harder against you, like he was trying to break through a brick wall that would let his dick claim more of you.
You had no clue how much time had passed, but it was enough that you were both covered in a thin sheen of sweat, and you could feel it running down your forehead and down your neck. Your hair was curling around the edges, and you felt sticky. Looking up at Schlatt took your breath away, no longer seeing your step brother but an Adonis above you, his thick hair damp and pressed against his forehead, his eyes closed in pleasure and mouth hung open as if in silent prayer.
You began to feel a burning between your legs, that delicious pressure building and buliding in your tummy.
"Sch-Schlatt."
Schlatt could only nod quickly, falling to stick his face in your neck, breathing in your scent and panting hard against you.
"Come on, baby. Let go. I"m right here, right there with you."
A few more thrusts had you seeing a bright lights and your ears ringing as you sank your teeth into Schlatt's shoulder. You could feel Schlatt groan and felt his warm cum spill inside of you in thick spurts.
Lounging in the afterglow, both of you panting, Schlatt leaned his neck up to place a long, slow kiss against your lips.
"You did so good for me, Princess. I'm so proud."
Giving Schlatt a sweet smile you kissed him again, your eyes growing heavy with exhaustion.
Slowly sliding out of you to avoid any more stimulation, Schlatt leaned down to pull up his boxers, kicking off his sweats and heading to the guest bathroom and bringing back a warm damp washcloth.
"Here we go, baby. Come on, lets get you cleaned up."
Gently wiping your thighs clean, Schlatt took care of you, making as much of the sticky feeling as he could go away.
Putting the washcloth on the coffee table, he helped you pull on his sweats and letting his shirt fall over your head, picking you up and letting you wrap around him like a koala before heading to the stairs to his room.
Looking over his shoulder you see the mess the two of you had made, washcloth on the coffee table, your clothes strewn about, cushions all over the place and the large wet spot where you'd been laying.
"The couch-" you mumbled tiredly.
Schlatt turned to see what you were talking about before giving you a sweet smile and kissing your temple.
"It's okay sweetheart. We can clean up tomorrow before our parents get home. But right now we have to go to bed, okay?"
Nuzzling into his neck you place soft kisses in agreement and let your eyes fall shut.
You were already half asleep when Schlatt lied you down and pulled the blanket over both of you before pulling you in to his chest and letting you turn to rest your head on his chest, letting his quick heartbeat and fingers softly grazing down your arm lull you to sleep.
"Love you, Princess." You heard him whisper before you fell asleep, thinking about your step brother.

Based on a True Event
So a few months ago my family went to Busch Gardens and I wanted to see the penguins before they closed so my family and I went back in but our tickets wouldn't scan. We got the tickets from my dad since he was working there. The people were super rude and wouldn't let my mom in and told her to go all the way to the back of the line and it took us forever to get in.
But imagine this with Simon, and he makes it all better.
Disclaimer: I'm not trying to hate on customer service workers. I am a customer service worker myself, this is just my experience with the Busch Gardens people lol.
Warnings: none :) just a bunch of fluffiness and Simon being in love with you.
You convinced Simon to take you to an amusement park you've been dying to go to. When he finally said yes you were ecstatic and couldn't wait to have fun with him in one of your favorite places.
"Si come on! Hurry before the line fills up!" You pull him along, wanting so badly to get into the park.
"Alright alright I'm coming." Simon grumbles, but he can't help but smile at your giddiness.
"They have penguins here! Can we go there first? Please? I want to see them so bad they're so cute!" You beamed up at him in the line to get into the park.
"Of course love whatever you want." He says with a smile.
You two were next in line to have your tickets scanned by the workers who looked like they'd rather be anywhere but there.
Not wanting to upset them further, you quietly held your phone out to scan the ticket.
Beep
The scanner makes a chiming noise and a big red "X" comes up on the reader.
"Ticket's no good." The worker says emotionless, not even looking up at you.
"What?" You ask panicking, looking at Simon for help.
"Here try mine." Simon says, stepping in front of you to scan his ticket.
Beep
The scanner dings again, but this time it was a happier tone and a green checkmark shows up.
"You're good, have a great day sir. You miss are gonna have to go to the back of the line and try again or leave. NEXT!" The worker says, and you raise your eyebrows in shock.
"Wait so he can go in but I can't? Can't you try again? Please we've been waiting all day to be here." You plead with the worker, sadness filling your eyes at the thought of not being able to see the cute little penguins you've been dying to see swim and waddle around.
"Sorry miss, you can try buying another ticket for another day or you can leave. You're holding up the line." The worker says, scanning other people's tickets and not looking at you.
Your eyes start to fill with tears of frustration and sadness knowing that Simon was going on deployment soon and you don't know when else you would be able to do this with him again. You look up at Simon looking devastated and he can't take it.
That's when he steps in.
The worker senses his presence and looks up at him. Simon crosses his arms and looks down at him, intimidating the guy so much that he actually makes eye contact with you two for the first time.
"Listen mate, the missus here has been waiting ages to get in here, and I'm never one to leave my woman unsatisfied. So you're either gonna let her in with me, or I'm gonna have to find a way to get her in myself." Simon stares down at the smaller man, who is now showing a fearful expression instead of a bored and uninterested one upon seeing Simon's scars and tattoos let alone his towering size.
And without another word the worker opens the turnstile and rushes you two through.
"Have a nice day you two!" He says, as if he wasn't shitting his pants right now at Simon's threat.
"Yeah that's what I thought." Simon grumbles under his breath.
You jump with joy and kiss Simon's cheek.
"Yay! Thank you honey!" You chime. "Let's see the penguins!" You say, practically pulling Simon's arm off rushing him along.
"Ok sweetheart I'm coming." He laughs.
"That was really hot." You say, leaning into his arm.
"What was?" He asks with a smirk, wanting to hear you say it.
"Sticking up for me. You're hot when you're all big and scary." You say with a giggle.
"Well of course, like I said, I'm never one to leave my missus unsatisfied. In any way." He whispers into your ear with a smirk while he squeezes your waist and you blush at his innuendo.
Then you spot the penguins and you squeal with excitement.
"Simon look! the babies!"
You run up to the tank to admire the little penguins. They were African penguins. Small and cute.
"Oh Simon, look at their little waddles! How cute are they!" You coo at the penguins watching as they waddle and swim around in their tank.
"Funny little blokes aren't they." Simon says, but he's not looking at the penguins.
Simon is watching you.
Simon stands next to you and admires your joy and how much you glow when you're happy like this. It's something he lives for. It's why he risks his life out on the battlefield every deployment. So you can have a fulfilling life. Everything Simon does is for you, and he can sleep better at night knowing that even though he's murdered, even though he's done heinous things, you will always be the one good thing that keeps him from falling into the darkness.
As Simon gets lost in his thoughts and love for you, a penguin waddles it's way up to you behind the glass.
"Simon! baby get a picture! Look at this little sweetie!" You say, and he snaps out of his thoughts to pull his phone out to snap a picture of you and the penguin.
The penguin flaps his wings playfully and you lean down to it's level and turn your head, making a kissy face pretending to give the penguin a kiss on the head.
Simon takes the picture and immediately makes it his lock screen and home screen.
You walk up to him to see the photo and smile.
"It's perfect! He's the cutest, sweetest little baby isn't he?" You ask and Simon just nods and smiles, thinking that you're actually sweetest thing.
Then, a penguin waddles out with a feather pattern that looks like it's wearing an eye mask. The penguin was white with black splotches of feathers on his body, but it's head was black, with a white mask around the eyes.
You notice it, and you gasp.
"Simon! It's you!" You excitedly exclaim and tap his arm getting him to look.
"It's a Ghost penguin!" You say, and he laughs out loud at that.
"Oh baby c'mon you gotta take a picture with it. Please? For me? It'll be so cute!" You plead, and how can Simon resist your glittering eyes and the crinkle in your nose from your smile.
"Ok ok. Just one picture though." And he walks up to the tank to pose with the penguin and you snap a picture, immediately sending it to Johnny and making it your lockscreen and homescreen as well.
Simon comes back to your side and you show him the picture, which earns another laugh out of him.
"Thank you honey." You tell Simon.
"For what?" He asks.
"For doing this for me. For being the best boyfriend in the world. For showing me what real love is like." You say with a smile, and Simon looks down at you.
Simon isn't one for PDA, but there was something about you in this moment that he couldn't resist kissing you right there in front of the penguins and all those around the exhibit.
"You're welcome my love." Simon whispers and smiles against your forehead after breaking the kiss.
You two spent the rest of the day walking around the park, forcing Simon to go on rides with you, and occasionally passing the penguins again where Simon buys you a little stuffed penguin that you named "Ghost", after the penguin that looked like Simon with his mask in the exhibit.
And that night, you two fell asleep in each other's arms with little penguin Ghost between you, exhausted from the long day of walking and fun, knowing that tomorrow you would both awaken in the morning seeing the one thing you both live to see:
And that's each other.

Sometimes, her love story with Max felt like that of Romeo and Juliette. That's what she likes to tell herself as their dads once again go to war with their respective children.
How either of them had made it this far in life, she had no clue.
This particular night was Max's turn to receive a phone call. The two lovers had been laying in bed during the winter break, keeping eachother warm, when the phone started buzzing.
Max had taken one look at the caller ID and debated whether to just let it ring through or answer. The latter being the better decision or else he would get that added to the procrastinated verbal slaps his father likes to give freely.
The Dutch picked up the phone and pulled the woman close to him in the same motion.
"Hello." His voice is rough, his annoyance becoming apperant in this moment.
Jos' voice through the phone was so loud she didn't even have to try and listen. It was as if he was in the room with them.
She ran her fingers through his hair as he did his best to keep his composure.
"Have you been practicing with the sim?"
"Yes."
"Good, wouldn't want you getting worse or being distracted by the female in your house over the break," he laughed.
Max's free hand entwined with hers. The woman proceding to squeeze his three times. A silent I love you for time like this.
"Maybe you can finally put her to use if you were smart."
A blow to both of them. She had winced only a little, but it didn't go unnoticed. Max brought her knuckles to his mouth and silently let his lips graze them.
"Next race I expect to see you make less mistakes and if there is more then you only have yourself and the women to blame."
"Goodnight dad."
Max quickly hung up the phone and tossed it aside.
She, however, took a different approach and jumped out of the bed. Her now cold body running to the kitchen. Max close behind her.
"I've decided we need hot chocolate." She stated before he could even get the question out.
The two spend the rest of the night cuddling with hot chocolate and watching kids' movies.
The words of Jos are not easily forgotten, but maybe Max could find a way to heal regardless.
The next time something like this happened, it was her turn.
Unfortunately for her, they were at a race. Her parents wanted to come because it's a race in her home country. Spending the day with their daughter, who lives far away now, sounds great in theory.
It had started tame. The three of you sitting in the Redbull hospitality catching up until she went to go find some of your friends and wish them luck.
Thankfully, Lando was walking by and spotted her.
"Hey (Y/N)!" He shouted. Successfully grabbing her attention. The woman waved and made it three steps forward before her dad had placed his hand on her shoulder.
Startled, she spun around and put some distance between them.
"We need to talk." The older man crossed his arms.
Immediately, her body felt like she was a child again. Her shoulders sagged but looked him in the eyes anyway. Knowing if she didn't, he would become more upset.
"I know me and your mom aren't the most rich people, but at least we gave you a better childhood thank ours." He sighed and let out a small laugh. Something he did to make her believe she wasn't in trouble. "You could be a little more grateful to us before running off with some guy who has more than us."
"I'm sorry," was all she could muster.
Thankfully, lando had come over to say hello after she had finished her conversation. He waited, not wanting to interrupt. Until he heard the apology, then he decided to gently step in.
"(Y/N)! Glad I caught you! Max wanted to see you before qualifying." The Brit felt proud of himself for how smooth that sounded.
"Oh do you know where he is?"
"Yeah, follow me." He gestured with his head the direction they were going to head.
"I'll talk to you later, dad." She smiled sadly. Then, she turned to follow Lando.
The two walked in silence to the Redbull garage. Lando not wanting to push the woman and her attempting to swallow her tears before having to talk to Max. Stressing him out before he needed to race was not on her agenda today.
When Max spotted her coming into the garage, he jogged over, greeting his love and his friend with a bright smile.
"What are you doing down here? I thought you were up in hospitality?" He asked.
Max's eyes dart between the two. Taking in the sheepish smile of one and a mixture of sadness and confusion on the other.
Lando turns to look at the woman beside him. "Sorry about lying to you, but I heard what your dad was saying to you..." He trails.
Max's face drops. Suddenly understanding why she had come with a sullen expression.
"It's okay Lan, thank you for rescuing me."
"Anytime." He nods before making his way out of the garage.
Max places his hands on her shoulders. "Do you want to talk about it now, or do you want a hug?"
She doesn't respond. Instead, she embraces him, inhaling his scent and listening to the sound of his heart.
"Race first, talk later." She gives him a quick kiss on the cheek for goodluck.
Max understanding her needs and how she is feeling, helped put the words of her dad into the back of her brain.
The following incident happened in the two's shared home. Jos had cone knocking at the door while Max was away grabbing some essentials for dinner that night. She regretted not going with him now. Opting to get things ready and started while Max was away.
"Oh, it's you." Jos sneered. Practically shoving her out of the way to get inside the apartment. "Where is my son?"
"He's at the store grabbing things for dinner, but I think he'll be back shortly." The young woman closes the door but hardly moves, barely a breath entering her lungs.
Dealing with Jos on her own was always a difficult task. Often fighting with herself between being on the defensive and provoking him more, or just staying quiet. Normally, she opted for the latter.
"You should really consider leaving him now. It'll hurt him less, and he'll be able to focus on what's important again." His eyes burn on her. "Have you still not understood that you are hindering him?! He has been making more mistakes since you seduced him."
She lost her grip for a moment, her mouth letting the words slip before her frontal lobe could fully process.
"Have you ever considered that encouraging and being proud of him might help him more than the constant berating?"
Jos' face went red, his jaw clenching in anger. He looked like he might break something.
Originally, she hadn't realized how close he had been. Now, knowing she should have put more than an arms reach.
The sting on her cheek was not a sensation she was used to. Her father had never actually hit her. thrown stuff around, and broke things from occasionally, but never hit her.
Tears began pricking her eyes. How was she to respond now?
"Don't speak to me like that. It's ridiculous that he keeps you around."
Well, she already crossed the line. There's no going back now. "Maybe because I am actually kind to him." Standing her grand, she managed to look directly at him. The shock of her action clearly displayed on his figure. "Your son is one of the kindest and funniest people I have ever met. He is successful not because because of you but because of himself and what he has achieved through his own hard work."
She had been so lost in her speech that she had failed to hear the keys in the door.
"I'm glad you think so geliefde." His voice was soft towards her. Relief washed over her face as she turned to see him. "What are you doing here, dad?"
"I came to look over some things with you about your next race."
Max's eyes narrowed at him. He quickly places the bag with groceries in it on the floor and strides over where the young woman is still trying to figure out what to do next.
Max places his hands on either side of her face and examines it. "Well, now you don't get to ever come back."
"Max-"
"She is right. I am loved by her unconditionally, and I don't need you to constantly criticize me. And you especially do not get to lay hands on anyone I care about."
Max's eyes turned cold. Now staring past her while still holding her protectively. "Get out."
"Son I think we should at least talk about this!"
"Get out! Or I will call the authorities."
Jos raised his hands in defeat and wnt to exit the space. Before he closed the door, he left you both with a parting message. "I hope she is worth it, Max, and if you realize she's not, then don't come crawling back to me."
When the door clicked closed, she couldn't stop the tears from flowing. "I'm so sorry I shouldn't have said anything to him." She sobbed.
Max embraced her gently and leaned to whisper, "You did nothing wrong, I don't need him to be proud of me. Instead, I think your encouragement will be enough to fuel me for races."
Then, they both started to heal.

Secrets
Body a day - #27: Closet
This is an excerpt from a longer story I'm writing, but haven't finished yet. I will probably be able to finish it in the new year.
Tumblr media
“Damien, we need to talk,” said my father, his tone was very serious, and the whole ‘we need to talk’ wasn’t something I had ever heard him saying before. Dad sat down on my bed and looked at me with a stern face, “Damien, I know you stole it from the hospital.”
I flinched… He knew, how long had he known?… “Why did you do it?” he asked, there was an undeniable disappointment in his voice.
I decided there was no point in lying, I might as well be honest.
“I’ve been using it on my classmates.”
“Why?!” my father said clearly shocked, “they are your friends, why would you do that?”
My father’s words really stung, though he probably wasn’t aware of how much they did, having had my secret exposed was mortifying enough, my voice began trembling as I answered.
“Friends?!” I said trying to hide being upset, “They were never my friends.”
My father’s face changed from shock to concern, which made me feel a bit better. It seemed like he understood somewhat.
“I thought things were going much better socially, you were popular, you were spending more time with them, going to all the parties – even coming home late at night.”
“It was all just a facade, so that I could get away with it… Earn their trust and not to arouse any suspicion.”
My father said nothing, he just looked at me with something I assumed was sympathy, so I continued my rant.
“To them I was merely an asset, I was useful. I only got all that attention, because I was the first in my class with a license, I could drive them places, be it drive-ins, the city or home after they had drunk their brains out. I was their chauffeur, their designated driver, that’s all. I’m not saying I was being excluded or bullied or anything, but I’m just not like them… And despite all the attention I’ve gotten, it still doesn’t change that I don’t see them as friends, they are just my classmates, they are acquaintances if you would prefer a different term…”
My father remained silent, he clearly was going through some strong emotions too, struggling to put them into words. I hadn’t seen him like that before, it almost felt like, he thought he had failed as a father for not noticing my discontentment sooner.
“I see,” was the first thing my father said after a long pause, it took him some time before he continued, “how did you do it? I don’t suppose they volunteered for it.” “I put something in their drinks,” I admitted, saying it out loud made me feel very ashamed.
“That’s very irresponsible, do you have any idea how dangerous that is?!” my father said angrily.
“I know, but you have taught me of how to dose sleeping pills, and I only gave them a very small dose, I never hurt any of them, I just needed them to be passed out long enough for me to…”
I hesitated, I probably shouldn’t go into more detail, I think he got the picture; “and none of them suffered any side effects.”
“You couldn’t have known that, you can’t just-”
“I know, I know, it was wrong and I’m sorry, but what’s done is done.”
“And what did you do with them?”
I went over to my closet and opened it, then I pulled out the three skinsuits, placing them all on the bed for my father to see. He was breath-taken and shocked as he looked at the display.
“You made three?”
Tumblr media
I nodded.
“Have you- have you worn them?” “Not really, no, a few times at home, but not for long, I couldn’t risk you or mom walking in on me. And it’s not exactly like I can go outside wearing them, I’d risk running into someone, who knows them, or even worse – run into one of them. But I really wish I could have… tried to be someone else, if only briefly.”
My father seemed lost in thought, then he resolutely got up and looked straight at me, “then pack your bags, you and I are going on a little road trip.” I couldn’t believe his reaction, it was relief.

🩶As Close as Strangers🩶
~ The final part ~
@sorilyae @littlesnorlaxx
~(AU) Leon Kennedy × f!Reader work.
~{Find parts one and two here}
Tumblr media
(Infinite Darkness era is exactly how I picture him for this fic 🩶)
~~~
《 “Leon, he's gonna be so upset.” You said into the phone that night somewhat sadly as you tried to keep away from the bottom of the stairs, hoping Ethan wasn't trying to listen in from his room.
The flight to bring him to your city from DC had just been delayed and he wouldn't board for another three hours now. He sighed looking at the flight displays now painted in yellow and shook his head hating that he had told Ethan he'd be home before dinner,
“I know. But I can still be there before he goes to bed. Or try to at least.”
This was your ritual now that Leon was back in your life. And Ethan's. He spent only a few short months in DC, working and keeping in touch and using his small amounts of leave to fly to see you and his son. The visits were small but they were meaningful nonetheless. They visited the park and stayed up on the weekends to play games. It was everything you waited for and it didn't take long to realize.
You looked up the stairs again with a concerned glance and wondered if Ethan might take it better if he talked to his dad on the phone. You'd told him just a few minutes before that you were expecting Leon in a little under an hour. But that quickly changed.
“Can I talk to him?” Leon asked on the phone and you told him to hold on.
You found Ethan in his room, he was crouched in the floor racing a toy car on his plastic track that spanned around his area rug. After a soft smile seeing that there were two toy cars set aside for himself and his playmate, you told him that Leon was on the phone.
The small tyke rose from his playtime rug and ran for the phone in your hand,
“Leon?” He said into the phone that he needed to hold with two hands, his tiny voice ringing with sadness,
“When are you coming to my house?”
Leon's heart sank hearing that tiny voice that leveled his whole world now that Ethan was a part of his life so consistently. Even though his precious boy still had no true grasp that Leon was in fact his father, the bond they'd built with sleepovers and endless hours of play felt just as precious.
But there was something else making this next visit so urgent. Leon had yet to ask you but he wanted more than anything to drive home to see his son instead of flying. There was just no way he could be relocated in the current climate of his federal assignments. And that made only one thing possible. Moving you and Ethan to DC, possibly uprooting everything you two knew and it wasn't easy for him to imagine how that could affect you both.
“Buddy, I'm sorry. I'll be home when you wake up in the morning, okay? I promise.” He said to Ethan on the phone, who frowned at the news of his late arrival.
“I can stay up late and wait for you. It's the weekend.” Ethan said to try and see him before he went to sleep one last time.
Leon smiled, giggling in the thought of his little eyes heavy and droopy by the time he finally arrived at the house,
“No, bud, I don't think your mom would like that. It'll be way past your bedtime. We'll make pancakes in the morning together, okay?”
Ethan finally gave in and made Leon promise again that he would be here and firmly he swore that he'd be there. No matter what. After the phone was returned, you told Ethan to put on his pajamas while you finished talking on the phone, then made your way back down the stairs.
You made sure you closed the boy's door enough to keep him out of earshot and you mentioned quietly into the phone,
“When are we going to sit him down and tell him, Leon? It's going to make his year to find out who you are.”
“No-” Leon replied in the busy airport that felt like nothing than background murmur as the hole in his chest hollowed further when he realized he missed his small son,
“It's going to make mine.”
~~~~
~Later that night
You heard Leon's rental car pull in at quarter past midnight. You'd drifted off to sleep on the sofa in wait to help him with his luggage. You put on a coat, trying to make it to the door, but he was already sneaking into the foyer quietly by the time you stood. You tried to take his suitcase but he brushed you away, shaking his head that it was fine.
He closed the door gently, trying to make sure he didn't shutter the walls as it closed and he smiled before pulling you close. His arms looped around your waist, hugging you into him before turning your chin up for a kiss in the quiet dark. You welcomed him closer but felt as he started to hoist you up onto the back of the sectional sofa.
You felt his hands start to wander, making your heart race as you kissed him for the first time in weeks. But you came back to reality when you remembered who else couldn't wait to see him.
“Hey, hey-” You whispered in his ear in the dark.
“Hm?” Leon asked, kissing your neck warmly and sweet.
“Someone didn't make it too long waiting for you.” You said gesturing over to the loveseat next to the window with a glance.
There, Ethan slept endearingly wrapped in his cartoon blanket with his head rested on the throw pillow. He'd been by the window, waiting for Leon's car, and the sight of his patience was enough to make anyone's heart swell.
“Awh, buddy.”
Leon sighed with a heavy smile as he began towards the window quietly. He wasn't sure if he should move him just yet but he couldn't bear the sight of him sleeping away from his own bed. He crept close to his small son, moving the sandy brown bangs away from his eyes and picking him up slowly under the arms.
He thought of moving upstairs but instead he merely sat down on the love seat, slumping the tired little boy onto his chest. He held his head onto his shoulder, covering him again with his tiny cartoon blanket and finally felt at peace there in a bear hug practically. Your lip quivered at the image of him holding Ethan in a way that he should've the day he was born and you sat beside them both.
You watched as Leon rested his head back as he cradled Ethan close and he said in a whisper between the silence of listening to his son sweetly sleep across his chest,
“D'ya get a chance to think about DC?”
You nodded, having had the conversation before he boarded his flight but you smiled before petting Ethan's back amidst his sleep,
“I'm not sure what there is to think about. You know we would love to come and stay with you.”
“I just don't want to uproot him, baby-”
“You're his home, Leon. He won't know the difference if you're there. He doesn't know you're his father but he knows you're his dad.” You argued with him in the dark softly but there was more. There was something else you saw that was on his mind and you waited for him to take that usual breath he needed to spit it out.
“What do you want to happen after that?” He asked softly, still cupping Ethan's head and you furrowed your brow, wondering what exactly he meant by that and he went on,
“You want to get married?” He asked as if the question was something mindless.
You froze, unsure of how to answer something so changing. You kept looking for him to start laughing or maybe just any indication that he might be joking but he was firm in waiting for your answer.
“You didn't mention that on the phone??” You said breathless and he nodded in telling you that was because he thought of it on the plane. Your heart raced in thinking of becoming Mrs. Kennedy, a name you thought should be worshiped when you understood what it meant.
“Is this…a proposal?” You asked, in dire need for the answer and he half smiled, knowing he shouldn't treat this so lightly. But it just felt too natural to make this exactly how he pictured it in his mind.
“Does it feel like one?” He asked his face softened in the thought of coming home to his wife and son,
“You really think I'll only ask once?”
You laughed quietly, knowing this would probably be a discussion to be divided into bits in pieces for the next few months ahead of you but you couldn't ask for something different. Being his wife could wait a lifetime if it meant the timing being perfect.
He stood with Ethan still sleeping in his arms and carefully made his way to the stairs. Climbing to the second level you watched a tiny arm swinging at Leon's side that he placed back onto his shoulder lovingly before reaching his bedroom. He laid Ethan down to his small twin bed painted with superheroes and placed the blanket over him softly.
Leon petted his head after sitting down on the side of the bed, clearing his mattress of forlorn toys and action figures lost in the sheets from his playtime. He smiled placing each of them back on his bedside shelf and he whispered down after a kiss to his tiny head,
“Your daddy loves you, buddy.”
He stood, making sure all of his night lights were turned on like the way he preferred to keep the dark away and he'd almost crept entirely out of the room in silence when he heard a small voice answer his whisper in the dark,
“I love you too.”
Leon stopped, knowing he shouldn't say anything, but it was hard to stay quiet at the first acknowledgment of being a father instead of merely his mother's friend. He closed the door quietly as his face reddened from the oncoming tears building in his eyes and thanked whoever was listening for the first time that he was able to stumble around drunk in the rain one night.
Because this feeling couldn't be bought twice. 》
~~~~~~~
Thank you so much for all the people asking to be tagged on this story, and thank you again for all the notes and comments. It was a joy to write.✌️
There's more Leon to come 🩶
my son my boy (2)
loak x mom reader + sully kids/jake and Neytiri
Tumblr media
Night were supposed to be peaceful and bring harmony to the world, but it was all wrong this night. As the night was not peaceful but filled with worry and upset, as tragedy had fallen upon the family that day. A mother was watching over her son as she laid in bed, after what had happened to him that day. She was able to find some sleep but once morning had come it was but to true world. The mother child was still hurt and the mother could do only do, so much as she waist for her child to open his eyes and for everything to go back to normal or some time of normal.
y/n " ......."
norm " hey how the kid going"
y/n " he heart rate and brain waves are good but he still asleep"
norm " he is a fighter he will be okay"
y/n " thank you norm"
norm " how are you doing did you get some sleep"
y/n " I'm doing okay and I did get some sleep but woke up an half an hour ago, I felt like I need to wake up and couldn't got back to bed"
norm " good has Jake been over yet"
y/n " no I told him to come by tomorrow as it was not a good time for him, to be around at the moment ... I'm so mad at him"
norm " you have all rights to be mad at him and the others their task, made this happen"
y/n " I wil do my best to be civil for the father of my child but right now, I will deal with my relationship with him and neytiri later" norm had nodded his head, you and him soon gave lo'ak new bandages and applied ointment on him as well.
lo'ak " yes mama" the tone of lo'ak voice had risen alarms in your head, you were going to find out later but right now asking more question will not help him right now. Soon the tent flap door had switch open and in came walking mo'at.
mo'at " my grandson you are awake"
lo'ak " hello grandmother"
mo'at " how are you feeling"
lo'ak " like I had been out through a fight"
mo'at " the great mother was watching over you my boy"
y/n " I can make you the booth that comes with it"
spider " it still the same dude but lees meat and vegetables"
???? " lo'ak" everyone soon looked and saw the three metkyaian teens standing there, as soon enough tuk was behind them. all three teens rushed to lo'ak and hugged him.
lo'ak " hey everyone I'm happy to know everyone missed me .. but can you all do a favor"
aonung " sure"
lo'ak " not hug me that tight"
tsireya " oh we are so sorry" the three teens soon let lo'ak go a bit as they were all now looking at each other.
rotxo " we are so happy to see that you are okay lo'ak we were worried when you had been found last night"
lo'ak " thanks for coming to see me everyone"
tsireya " our parents were up last night speaking with your father and mom, along with some other olo'eytahns it seem to be very important" the room had fallen silent at the moment after tsireya had said those words, and with her facial expression she was very serious.
tsireya " they were talking about what happened yesterday and I heard them talking about you and y/n...." tsireya was soon cut off when Jake had entered the tent followed by neytiri.
neytiri " lo'ak my son you are okay" neytiri made her way towards lo'ak she had place a hand on his shoulder.
y/n " neytiri we have to careful with him he sill hurt"
neytiri " oh yes"
Jake " lo'ak it good you are awake and talking I was worried about there for a second" soon tonowari and ronal had entered the tented, followed by tsu'tey.
lo'ak " sure you were sir.... I'm happy to be okay now and I'm sorry for giving my other a fight as well " the tone by lo'ak voice made him sound like he was not that very happy with his situation.He was not happy with Jake and neytiri at the moment along with some other as well.
Jake " yes and in no time you will be healed and on your feet again, being your usual self once again and that makes you a sully" lo'ak didn't say anything as he looked at his father.
tonowari " young sully we have heard of the tales of what happened to your last night, and you were very brave to fight back and protect the tulkuns from danger"
ronal " yes but it caused you majorly as well I have brought some healing herbs to help you" ronal had held out a bowl it look like she was about to help, when a hand stopped her.
mo'at " The only ones who will see to his care will be his mother, myself, and the humans as we know what to do ... your help if not need at the moment"
neytiri " mother"
mo'at " no neytiri I will attend to my granddson as his tshaik and grandmother, and should stay available for the others"
Jake "mo'at we need to accept their help"
y/n " mo'at is right we don't need all the healers here at the moment, as other in the clan will need their help we need to think of them" you were looking at the four adults as none of them dare to speak about against you.
tsu'tey " it good to see you are fine my nephew we are all worried about you"
lo'ak " thank you uncle"
spider " dude you going to have some good stoires and scars to show off ... oww father"
Tsu'tey " we ca talk about that later boy not now your cousins needs to heal, not rushing off on a new adventure"
y/n " like that has ever stop them in the past tsu'tey" a few adults had laughed about what you said, soon the kids started laughing as well and smiling. The group had talked a bit more with the kids making lo'ak feel better and showing him some cool stuff.
Jake " son I'm very proud of what you have done and it seems, like you made a name for yourself as well ... I see you my boy" the room had fallen silent after Jake had said that he place his hand on lo'ak shoulder, but the boy soon removed his hand.
lo'ak " thank you all for coming but I'm feeling overwhelmed and exhausted right now"
y/n " yes I think it will be good to let lo'ak rest for a bit, as it going to help him heal his body and mind need time to heal"
tuk " aww i want to stay and hang out with lo'ak and help care for him, like he does for us when we are sick or hurt"
lo'ak " you can come see me later on tuk"
y/n " yes and if lo'ak feeling better by dinner time maybe you all can come share a meal with him"
tuk " okay"
y/n " you all can send someone to check up on him and help around, but for now let him rest"
tisreya " yes ... hey maybe we can go see payakan and the other tulkuns"
aonung " yes that will be cool and we can bring you something back as well lo'ak"
tuk " yes I'm going to find you a beautiful shell lo'ak to make you happy"
lo'ak " I will love that"
spider " come on guys lets go" the kidd soon bid goodbye to lo'ak and hugging him lightly, as they all left but neteyam gave one look towards the four adults before he had left. Tsu'tey was helping norm and max with something, mo'at was with them as well. Jake was still here with neytiri, tonowari, and ronal.
Jake " son we need to speak with you"
y/n " Jake"
Jake " I'm sorry but I think it will be good to have some words with him, and to see if he okay"
lo'ak " yes sir...."
y/n " no you all can speaking with him later when he fine right now he need time to rest, when he good I will tell you when you can speak with him"
ronal " tell us you have no say in this matter" you soon glare at ronal after she said that the whole tent had become quite as everyone, was looking at you.
y/n " I'm going to be civil here and ask you to leave friendly as my son need time to rest after the events of yesterday, and I'm not going to have anyone second guessing me right now"
tonowari " y/n we meant ...."
y/n " with all respect tonowari right now I'm thinking about the wellbeing of my child who laying here right now hurt, and in pain so will you all please leave and come back here and speak with him later"
tonowari "yes we will leave and we hope we can speak with your son and you about yesterday events"
y/n " thank you" tonowair and ronal soon left the tent with the other olo'eythans as Jake and neytiti stayed.
Jake " we wish to stay and help you care for him"
y/n " he is fine I will call for help when I need it neteyam as offer to help, along with the other children ... you both have other responsibilities to attend to"
neytiri " y/n ...."
y/n " we can speak later lo'ak need time to rest"
Jake " I wish to stay and help me my son as well it will be bad if his father leave him in this condition" lo'ak had scoffed quite at his father words and soon laid down, turning his back on them.
y/n " we can speak about this later along with anything else... we will all need what is needed today" Jake and neytiri we going to fight you more on this matter but had soon been called away, by one of tonowari warriors as there was another meetings happening. you soon closed the tent door and walked towards lo'ak.
y/n " I will be over there with your grandmother and uncles ... get some rest if you wish but it also good to get a break as well" lo'ak had nodded his head, you kissed his forehead and soon walked off. Looking back ay him and he looked like there was something on his mind. It hurt you to see your child like that as you wish for him not to be in this pain, but what you didn't know was that the children had more news to share with you that will effect everyone involved and destroyer many relationships and images of everyone.
Hubby: Guess what I got???
A picture arrived a second later of three plane tickets, all with the same destination: Seoul, South Korea. A flash of shock hit me and my fingers worked faster than my brain could process.
“Isn’t it awesome?! My parents helped pay for them so don’t worry, I didn’t spend too much money. Well, not yet anyways. I’m going to buy a snow suit for Celeste because she’s never seen snow before and she’ll want to play in it because if she’s anything like me but that’s beside the point!” Chris was so excited and when he was excited, he rambled about everything and anything. A change that occurred after he became a dad, but a welcome one at that. Getting him to share his feelings wasn’t too too hard when I came along, but ever since his daughter was born, he was a babbling mess. A good change, really. After five years, he’d really mellowed out with her safety. She had too many clothes to begin with with the overexcitement of her arrival from her uncles, but now she was down to only a few new outfits a week, and now he at least acted like he was thinking about it when he changed his mind from a ‘no’ to a ‘yes’. He couldn’t deny his little girl anything.
“Chris, she has snow clothes. Her grandmother bought some for her the last time we went to Korea in the winter just in case it snowed, which she’s still upset about.”
“I know, the weather app is stupid, they never know anything.”
“Chris! She has enough clothes! We’re going to have to give her our master closet if you keep buying her more things!” He was quiet to this, like he was actually thinking about the logistics of it. “Babe, she’s not getting our closet.”
“I know!”
“You were thinking about it though.”
“...Maybe. Then I was thinking about everything else I could buy her with all that room.”
“Chris…” I said warningly.
“I’m done, I’m done. She’s not getting our closet.”
“Good.”
“But she is getting a snow suit. Okay, love you, bye!” I clutched my phone as he hung up, shaking my head and wondering where in the world he was going to put one more thing she didn’t need. It wasn’t like he was buying nonsense, it was just that he couldn’t tell her no if she really wanted something. He was a good dad like that.
Me: Christmas with the uncles sounds good :)
Hubby: Start packing. We leave in three days :)
Me: Won’t mom be upset we won’t be in Sydney for the holiday?
Hubby: My mom will be fine, she’s used to holidays without me.
Me: Don’t remind me
Hubby: It’s yours we have to worry about.
It was true, I was worried that my mother would be upset about a holiday without her grandchild. She loved them more than anything, cherished her truly. The more I thought about it, the worse I felt about it.
Hubby: We’ll tell her together. We’re adults now, we can choose to spend the holidays wherever we like.
Always reading my mind, my husband.
The front door opened and shut, letting in the Sydney breeze along with it and a head of dark hair waltzed right in. Heading straight for the fridge, she reached for a small bag of apple slices just out of her reach.
“Mommy!”
“Yes, baby, do you need some help?” I was already off my stool at the kitchen island and heading towards her.
“Yes please!” She turned her shining eyes towards me, just as warm and comforting as her father’s. Her smile pushed her round cheeks upwards toward her eyes, just like his. Chan said she had my nose and he was more thankful for that than anything. He hated his nose.
She was still reaching for the bag, knocking a bottle of water to the floor. “Whoops! I’ll get it Mommy.”
“Oh thank you Cece, that was very helpful of you.” She loved hearing these things, loved hearing how she helped someone. Anyone. More of her father’s features shining through, she just loved to help in any way she could. I opened the bag and handed it to her. “There you go, baby .Do you want to watch some TV before your grandmas and grandpas come over for dinner?”
Once in a while, all the grandparents came over for dinner to spend time with the three of us. They wanted to see their Cece before all the holiday craziness came and they had to get busy with everything else that came with the holidays.
With the house smelling like grilled meat and rice, the doorbell rang like chimes in the wind, a touch from Chris when we bought the house. Cece ran to the door, yelling “I got it, I got it!” She opened the door to both sets of grandparents flinging their arms wide open at the sight of her at the door, her red sparkly dress swinging as she lept for them. They hugged her, bags swinging from their arms as all four of them came around her.
I was luckier than most with my in-laws. They had welcomed me with the most open of arms into their family and made me feel like a part of the family, like they had always been there just waiting for me. My parents got along with them, his mother bonding with mine over their love of plants and house decor. Our fathers got along with sports, the only issue ever being who was paying for the wedding (they both wanted to pay for it). They loved me and I loved them. I knew this situation wasn’t common, so I cherished it whenever they all came together.
“Cece, are you going to let them come in?” I laughed while they hugged her, knowing they wouldn't let go until she did.
“Oh, it’s fine, she’s fine.” Chris’s mom said while the others were putting their belongings in the hall closet. She picked up her favorite grandchild and held her until she arrived in the living room with all her toys neatly stacked. Celeste had a habit that she picked up from her father of finding joy in organization. It had to come from him because it definitely did not come from me.
As the other grandparents gathered around Cece on the floor, my dad followed me out the back door to find Chris hard at work grilling. They hugged and we watched Chris grill.
“How’s the producing business, Chris?” Neither took their eyes off the meat.
“It’s good! Keeps me busy, but I get to meet celebrities so it has it’s perks. And the company is still good with letting me off for time with Cece. So I can’t complain.”
“That’s because you still work on your days off. I still haven’t been able to stop him.”
I sighed and gave Chan’s back a reproachful look. My dad chuckled.
“Honey, you haven’t been able to stop him from working since you started dating. Remember Valentine’s Day a couple years ago?”
“Hey!” Chan finally turned around, mouth open in mock shock. “You said you were okay! You know how hard it was to get Tiger JK to actually sit down and work with me.”
“I do! And I’m still proud you managed to get it done in time.” I smiled and took his free hand that wasn’t holding a giant pair of tongs. “That doesn’t mean I can’t be a little salty that you had to miss our second Valentines together.” His eyes squinted.
“And have I made it up to you every year since?” He cocked his eyebrow.
“I need a beer! Anybody else?” My dad quickly jumped up to head back inside for said refreshment. I shot Chan a smirk.
“Was that necessary?”
“Hey, he could’ve done the math. Cece was born in November.” I rolled my eyes. His tone suddenly got serious. “Do you want to tell them now or after we eat?”
“After. Let them enjoy their time with her now.”
*
“You what?!”
The plates were cleared, Cece was passed out on the couch watching her favorite show, and the news had just come out. My mother, ever the drama queen, was fanning herself from the news. My father was helping her, if only to save himself the pain of a scolding from her later.
“Well, they’re adults now, honey. They can do what they like.”
“But they’re taking her for the holidays too, Richard. Did you think about that?”
“Yes I did. They’ll be fine, they’ll be back afterwards.”
“And besides,” Chan’s mom interjected. “You can spend it with us! We can get wine-drunk and celebrate Christmas ourselves without the kids.”
Chris grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. My mother just watched us smile at each other.
“We miss Korea, mom. And Christmas is such a wonderful time of year, I just think this year we want to spend it differently. We’ll pick you up some of your favorite face cream while we’re there, too.”
“So the trip won’t be a total waste for you!” Chris tried to placate her, but her face remained unchanged. “Alright Mom, what about this: when we get back, you guys can have Celeste for a whole weekend, just her and you.” She perked up at that.
“Friday to Monday?”
“You can even bring her back Monday night.” Chris, ever the diplomat. A rush of pride went through me. My mom thought about it for a moment.
“Deal.”
Chris’s dad piped in.
“What about us?!”
*
Celeste did really well for her first plane ride. We arrived at the Incheon Airport around noon, but we didn’t know what awaited us outside until we stepped outside to our car waiting to take us to our hotel. Driven by Hyunjin with a passenger seat occupied by Felix, they waved us over before climbing out of the car to fling their arms open for Celeste, who stopped halfway to them, noticing the white fluff all around.
“Daddy, what’s that?” she asked, her voice dripping in wonder. Her eyes shining with pure curiosity, she ignored her uncle’s waiting arms to hold her arms out to catch the falling flakes. They disappeared as quickly as they had landed in her hand, but that didn’t stop her from trying to catch all of the snowflakes in her immediate vicinity. She jumped and reached, trying to reach the clouds they were falling from. This insanely cute action was met with laughter from all angles, and before she knew it, she was hoisted into the air by her uncle to get a closer look.
Chris and I stood by and let them catch up and enjoy the cold.
“She’s so cute. She takes after you, you know.” I placed a hand on my stomach.
“I dunno. Maybe this one will be just as cute.”
Sentence concept (dad Jack):
“Don’t make me tell Dad”
"Oh, fuck.” Axel muttered as he assessed the damage on your newly upgraded G Wagon that you had originally gotten for a push gift for Nova from Jack.
“Dad is going to be so pissed. He literally picked it up for mommy this afternoon.” Autumn replied as she noticed the huge scratch and dent on it.
“I just tapped the barrier! How is it dented!?” Axel exclaimed while throwing his hands up in disbelief.
“Maybe they won't notice?”
“Autumn, please tell me you didn't just say that.”
“Well, you have to come clean because you were the one driving.”
“I….”
“Don't make me tell dad.”
“You play the role of the annoying ass little sister a little too well sometimes.”
“I take that as a compliment.”
The two of them made their way back home and Axel parked your car back in the garage and prayed that you didn't drive it until he was able to talk to Anthony's dad to fix it since he was a mechanic.
When 8 AM hit, Axel heard his father's booming voice and knew he was in trouble.
“AXEL WYATT HARLOW. GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW.”
Axel made his way to the living room to see Jack red in the face and Autumn looking guilty.
‘Sorry big brother.’ She mouthed towards him and all he did was sigh.
“Bye Autumn.” Jack said and she immediately started to protest until he gave her a look.
“Um, I'll be going now.”
“So, you want to explain to me why there is a big dent and a scratch the size of Texas on your mom's G Wagon that I just got upgraded and picked up from the dealer yesterday to surprise her?”
“Umm”
“It's no time for that. And you took your sister and neither of you actually have a license and only a permit? Do you know how dangerous that was?”
“We were coming right back!”
“You can stop with the excuses. You know better than that.”
“I'm sorry.”
“The two of you seriously could have gotten hurt. And then what?”
“Are you going to tell mom?” Axel asked and right on cue, you came in the door.
“Tell me what babes?” You asked and his eyes went wide. You kissed Jack before coming over and hugging Axel as you kissed his cheek. You were back a day early from Atlanta and Axel knew he would be grounded for the rest of his life.
“Uh….”
“Axel and Autumn took your car that I just upgraded for a joy ride last night and dented and scratched it.”
“AXEL!”
“I….”
“With no license. So, Ax along with Autumn is going to use their allowance money every month to get it fixed and I'm not budging. No video games. No going out with your friends and I have to decide if I'll let you play soccer or not.”
“Axel, babe. You understand why we're upset, right?” You asked and all he did was nod.
“You and your sister could have gotten hurt and that is the last thing we want. You not only put yourself in harm's way, but her too.”
“You're her big brother so I expected more from you.” Jack added as Axel was looking down at his feet.
“I know.”
“Ax, we almost lost you when you were a baby so this gave me flashbacks. You cannot do reckless things likw this." Jack quietly said and you simply nodded agreeing with him.
Now, he immediately felt guilty.
“Anytime you want to go out driving, we will take you but this cannot happen again. Cars can be replaced, the two of you can't.”
“Yes, sir.”
“You can go back upstairs.”
That now left the two of you and Jack could tell you were visibly getting upset.
“Baby, I know where your mind is going but they're both okay.” He said as he brought you into a hug.
“I cannot take the thought of something happening to them.”
“I know. But we aren't focusing on that. We’re focusing on the fact that they’re both okay.”
Hatchetfield Jewish headcanons!
Based on surnames and some unrelated headcanons.
*After Jane died, Tom really wanted to keep the Jewish traditions for Tim, but he had zero clue what to do, so he called Emma. She also had no idea what to do, but she tried her best.
*Ruth and Richie make fun of Pete for being the only goy in the squad. Everyone just assume he's Jewish, and that makes him really confused. Also, Ruth unironically ships Tanakh characters.
*Shapiro has a Jewish dad and a Catholic mom, so she got the Jewish surname and the Catholicism. She breaks the glass in her and miss mullberry's wedding. Miss mullberry is also Jewish.
*at one timeline Steph finds Solomon with the black book or something and blames him for encouraging the stereotype that Jews worship Satan.
*Dan Reynolds is Jewish. I have no reason for this.
*the following conversation happened at some point.
Emma: and I'm not going to let some republican, Christian old man-
Bob Metzger, offended: Christian????
Emma: ....
Bob: there's ONE synagogue. How did you never see me there???
Emma: I was smoking outside???
Bob: we're a big family! My grandchildren were outside! Our last name is Metzger!!
Emma: ....sorry. A republican old man.
Bob: there you go.
*Karen Chasity is very upset about having Solomon lauter as a mayor. Sam sweetly as well. I just know these two would want a Christian mayor.
*Daniel/stopwatch invites the other kids to celebrate Jewish holidays with him. Sophia melts some candlesticks and Hannah starts having visions when they read the Haggadah, but they still had a great time.
Characters that deserve an honourable mention:
The spankoffskis sound very Jewish, but we know ted is a Christian, and they both went to a Christian summer camp.
Linda says "mensch", but with the implications of the rich bitch being Jewish? No thanks. Plus she has way too much Christian symbolism in her character. My headcanon is that she heard Jews were controlling the media so she started using Yiddish slang to look richer. I'm sorry, but she would.
I love Gary Goldstein, but he is a walking stereotype.
AITA for not telling my mom about my heart surgery?
I already know this is going to be a bit long winded so sorry in advance, there's just a lot that I feel is relevant here.
I (21 M) had a heart surgery about a month ago now. It was cardiac ablation, and for anyone wondering, it went just fine and I'm already fully recovered and walking around like normal. I had known about it for weeks prior and of course had been calling my dad and keeping him updated about all this. However, I hesitated to tell my mom, and ultimately never brought it up to her. I still haven't.
For a bit of backstory, my parents split when I was 16 because, to be blunt, my mother was being abusive in just about every avenue. She was mean and cruel and sometimes violent. I don't want to get into all the details because I don't think it's really necessary, but know it was bad. After she finally left I went no-contact with her, as did my dad and older sibling. This seemed to really upset her and she repeatedly tried to reach out to me, sent me expensive gifts, etc. After a while I made it clear to her that the only way I would ever even consider speaking to her again would be if she went to therapy and sorted her shit out, then gave me a real apology for her behavior, and even then she'd be lucky if I spoke to her afterwards.
And, being perfectly fair to her, she did it. She went to therapy, she did the work, and from what I've seen she has really put in the effort to change. She wants to keep me in her life and once I made it clear I wouldn't budge, she got her ass up and did it. She even gave me an apology I wasn't expecting, where she admitted that she only stayed with my father because she was afraid of being a single mother, and she took that resentment out on me and my sibling for most of our lives. Over time, I've maintained contact with her and we have a relationship now. Not sure how great it is, but we have one. She takes me out to lunch sometimes and I actually answer when she calls me.
Back to the topic of my heart, I've always had palpitations here and there, usually three times a week. I thought it was normal. Then after a pretty scary morning that landed me in the ER and lots of testing, the doctors decided surgery was the best option for me. I called my dad, like I said, but I just couldn't bring myself to tell my mother. And it wasn't out of fear or anxiety or not wanting to worry her. I just... didn't want to.
My dad said she had a right to know as my parent, if I was keeping contact with her. I spoke with my therapist about it, and while he didn't outright say I shouldn't tell her, it felt very much like he was leaning that direction. In the end, I never said anything to her, and she's still unaware it even happened.
It's been weighing on my conscience a bit. I had no reason to not tell her. There was nothing stopping me from being up front and honest with her. So I wonder, am I an asshole for not telling her?
What are these acronyms?
formally asking for part two of misguided hearts, please!! it was an amazing read!! I'm so excited to see what will happen next :) your writing is absolutely phenomenal ❤️
A/N: We are gonna pretend it hasn't been for forever since I've not only posted on here, but done anything with DBZ. Anyways! Here we are!
The Blind (No Longer) Leading the Blind (Part Two)
Misguided Hearts (Part One)
"I still think you should let Gohan and I spar."
Trunks was on the same topic, pouting, though he'd argue he wasn't, as you fussed over your hair and your makeup, finally settling on an outfit with your mom's help. You sighed, turning to where he was seated on your bed.
"And I told you-- no fighting my friends."
"He made you upset though," He was looking at you as if you were the one who made no sense in this situation.
You rolled your eyes, shaking your head fondly at him, "Gohan didn't upset me."
Though he didn't believe you, "I could stop being friends with Goten?"
You moved to sit across from him, watching as he held one of your pillows to his chest, glaring at your comforter.
"Trunks I appreciate you being ready to fight on behalf of me, but you don't need to. And you especially don't need to drop your best friend for me." You ruffled his hair, and laughed at the offended noise he made, trying to bat you away.
"Whatever. If you come home crying I'm gonna tell dad."
You narrowed your eyes at him, all affection leaving, "You wouldn't."
You hadn't even told your dad you were going on a double date. The man would more than likely have a conniption. The first time a guy showed interest in you he declared no mortal good enough for his daughter and declared anyone after your heart and your hand needed to beat him in a match. You had been thirteen. It was embarrassing. Yet part of you had reveled in his protectiveness of you.
"I would."
You heard your mom shouting your name downstairs, and the jitters that had mellowed out hit you full force. You stood, motioning for Trunks to do the same.
"No hanging out in my room when I'm not here, brat."
He stuck his tongue out at you, "I don't wanna be in your dumb room anyways."
He dodged the smack you sent towards his arm and left you alone. Taking a deep breath, you forced a light expression on your face. Delaying the inevitable wouldn't do you any good.
"You at least look lovely honey," Your mom comforted you, and you smiled at her.
"Thanks, mom."
You made your way to the door, grabbing a thin jacket in case it got nippy, and opened the door, unprepared to see Gohan, Videl, and Erasa at your front door.
You blinked for a moment, staring at the three of them-- Erasa was your date for the double date?
Interesting.
"Sorry," Gohan rushed to apologize, "Erasa insisted we all went together."
The blonde beamed at you from where she stood, and though you were dreading this interaction, you could never dread hanging out with Erasa, and her happiness was always contagious.
"It's alright," You smiled back, shutting the door behind you, "Let's just hurry before dad finishes with his morning training."
Gohan shuddered at that, and the four of you moved to head off. Erasa was practically bouncing as she walked, far more excited than she had been earlier this week. Videl was with her, moving every so often to keep her from drifting into the street or getting distracted by something near by. You couldn't help but smile at the pair, Videl was always so soft with her friends.
"So," Sucks that it meant Gohan had to be stuck walking with you instead of his date, but hey, you'd soak up the time, "My mom says hi. And that you need to come over for dinner soon."
"Well, I'll never pass up an opportunity for Chi-Chi's cooking," He smiled at that, a bright look on his face as you continued, "We still have that project due soon so I could come over some time this week?"
"Yeah! That'd be great. Sorry in advance for how mom will be." He paused, "And dad, come to think of it."
You quirked an eyebrow at him, "I've known your parents since I was a kid, Gohan. I know how they'll be."
"Yeah, but this will be different. Well not really, for us I suppose. But for them. Mainly mom." He sighed, as if already exhausted by the dinner that hadn't even happened yet, "And dad's just excited that that gives him more excuses to hang out with Vegeta."
"That it-- what?"
He laughed as if your confusion was not only expected but entertaining to him, "I know. I told him that just because we're seeing each other it doesn't mean he gets to go over and bug your dad every day. Not to mention I think it'll just be another reason for Vegeta to not like him. Or me."
Your mind was reeling, and you felt yourself slowing down your walk, trying to process and make sense of what he was talking about. Gohan seemed almost too lost in his mind to notice at first.
"I wonder if there's some Saiyan tradition he's going to make me partake in. Or-- hey, what's up?"
He turned, and you realized you had gone from slowing down to not walking entirely.
"Gohan-- what are you talking about?"
It was his turn to look confused. "Well I mean, dad doesn't know a whole lot about Saiyan traditions so he never really did anything special with mom. I figured Vegeta would probably remember more so if there was one he'd force me to do it. It probably has something to do with sparring, knowing him."
"Why would-- why would you need to know about Saiyan traditions regarding-- what does my dad have to do with this?"
By now both Videl and Erasa had turned to look at you two, confused as to why their trip was pausing. Gohan looked from you, to the pair of them. The cafe was within sight, so he told the pair to go ahead, and you two would catch up in a moment.
Head tilted, he looked at you curiously, "Because if I'm taking you out then he's either going to have my head or make me partake in some... Saiyan courting ritual I know nothing about." He grinned slightly, joking as he said, "I'd like to get a head start on it so I don't lose against him."
"Why would you need to fight my dad in a Saiyan courting ritual to date Videl?"
You were met with silence as Gohan stared at you, mouth parted slightly.
"What are you talking about?" Before you could respond he stepped closer to you, "I'm-- I'm not interested in Videl? I asked you on this date?"
"No you didn't!"
"I did!" The pair of you seemed to be growing almost frustrated with each other.
"When?"
"When we were working on the project in your room-- I told you about the double date and you said you wanted to come!"
"Yeah, you said you and Videl wanted me to come on a double date. Meaning you and Videl were one couple, and I was--"
"Oh my God," He muttered to himself, rubbing his eyes under his glasses before pausing, looking at you with the biggest puppy eyes you had ever seen on him, "I messed this up."
He stepped forward, gently taking one of your hands into his, and you found yourself unsure of what to do or say.
"I... was asking you out. I wanted to come here with you. Videl had managed to get herself to ask Erasa out, but was too nervous for a one-on-one first date. So the agreement was I had to man up and ask you out."
"You... didn't do that well."
He laughed quietly, "I'm realizing this now." He paused, "Does this mean that... your answers changes now that you--"
"No!" Your voice was louder than you intended it to be, "No, no I... God, Gohan I was practically heart broken that I thought you were into Videl. I love her, don't get me wrong but I've had the biggest crush on you since we were kids."
His grin grew, becoming soft and almost dopey looking, "That's funny. I've had a crush on you since we were kids, too."
You could have face palmed then and there, could have cried or screamed with the amount of emotions you were feeling. Apparently, despite taking after your genius of a mother, you were an idiot.
"Oh," You blinked, "That's why Trunks was mad at you."
"What?"
"I was..." Moping. "Upset cause I thought you liked Videl. He heard me complaining to mom and wanted to fight you."
