It's hard to explain my relationship with the aplatonic label to people who have automatically established themselves as my friends because it (understandably) might feel like a slight against them. And I can't even blame them. I dated someone who was aromantic and I was a little weird about it.

Normativities in all aspects have their claws in everyone whether we realize it or not. It's just so normal to decide on someone else's behalf that they're you're friend, without any conversation beforehand. No one else seems to find that weird but I do!

The specific nebulae I chose isn't for any particular reason, I just chose what I thought looked pretty/fitting.

Also the names for these nebulae are just so amazing. Like dandelion puffball? Little ghost? Adorable.

(The reason I didn't include these in my other aspec flag set posts is because I didn't know how they should be designed. But I decided to give it a try now, I think they work?)

(For clarity since if this is already coined it's very rare, when I mean Nebulatertiary, I mean that I am unsure whether I experience tertiary attraction (platonic, familial, etc..), in a manner related to my Neurodivergence)

Some aspec/arospec identities I found while doing some deep searching

To help with self-identifying, headcanoning your characters/OCs, etc. Links provided for additional info.

Cupiosexual/romantic: Doesn't experience sexual/romantic attraction, but wants a sexual/romantic relationship regardless

Quoisexual/romantic: Is unsure how to identify their personal attraction or whether or not they've experienced it

Platoniromantic: Cannot distinguish between platonic and romantic feelings (see also nebulaplatonic and nebularomantic for being unable to distinguish due to being neurodivergent)

Cupioquoisexual/romantic: Is unsure if they experience attraction (quoi), but wants a relationship regardless (cupio)

Lithosexual/romantic: Experiences attraction, but does not want it reciprocated

Bellussexual/romantic: Has interest in aspects of a relationship, but does not experience attraction or want a relationship

Orchidsexual/romantic: Experiences attraction but does not want a relationship/to act on these attractions

The flags are based on this[link] BPD flag. The terms in this post are exclusive to those who have BPD. Those with informed self-diagnosis can use it as well!

BPD-Fakeromantic/FP-Fakeromantic

BPD-Fakeromantic or FP-Fakeromantic is an neuroromantic and arospec identitiy that can also be interpreted as a subset of nebularomantic[link] where one is aro(spec) and has a trouble to identify romantic attraction due to their BPD. This is often due to thinking one experiences romantic attraction when actually just being obsessed with a person/ this person being one's fp and only after this obsession ends being able to tell it wasn't actual romantic attraction (if even that). One may also always when this happens think "this time it's different, this time these is actual romantic attraction" but it's not attraction. Since this identity is often connected to having an fp I gave it the alternate name "FP-Fakeromantic" I made this label for other types attractions with the same definition just with their specific attraction types.
