Hahahaha I can see that. It would be 30% some cool image of a bug online, 60% of a really bad image quality bug photo he definitely took outside, and then 10% of random Hollow Knight bugs.

Cookie Run: Kingdom has me in a chokehold and it’s just because of Silent Salt and that COOKIE DIDN’T EVEN RELEASE YET!

Silent Salt Cookie is my favourite because well duh, I LOVE KNIGHTS.

So I will dedicate this post to Silent Salt Cookie and to knights in general as I will go into my headcannons on what this silent knight is like and their relationship with the other Beast Cookies.

While also talking about how cool knights are.

SILENT SALT COOKIE HEADCANNONS!

I think others may have similar headcannons but I lowkey think that Silent Salt Cookie is gonna stay silent and not utter a WORD and that their non-binary!

It would be fun to throw in a wild card! The Ancients have two boys and three girls, the Beasts have two boys and two girls so far, it would be fun if the last Beast cookie was non-binary! Also it would be fun to have some Non-Binary Knight representation!

But I wouldn’t mind if Silent Salt Cookie was he or a she, they’re cool either way! I also like the idea that if Silent Salt Cookie spoke in sign language, idk if that would be possible but it be awesome to see!

I imagine the Beast of Solidarity, some cookie who was meant to unite cookies and stand in solidarity with them and protect them, would’ve been a softie with the other beasts and cookies before snapping…my theory is that the Beast of Solidarity was the last to fall.

The first to fall was probably either Mystic Flour Cookie and or Burning Spice Cookie.

Mystic Flower probably sealed herself away while Burning Spice, time and time again it wore him down and how much his kingdoms were falling..

It broke them.

Then we get Shadow Milk Cookie and Eternal Sugar Cookie, who Shadow Milk probably lost his marbles and soon after Eternal Sugar Cookie did as well.

All them fell one by one, Silent Salt Cookie probably had to see it all. Watching in silence, seeing those they loved, became…beasts. It consumed them, they didn’t want to be alone, alone with this grief…that they failed and lost it all. They tried and probably failed to convince the others to stop their reign…they simply crumbled and fell as well, what’s the point in unity when no one is really by your side?

Thus, they became a monster. A Beast.

It would probably match well with what White Lily Cookie is dealing with!

My silly headcannons is that Silent Salt Cookie probably likes cake hounds, likes to write poetry and is actually a sweet heart before well, falling.

NOW WHAT WAS THIER RELATIONSHIP WITH THE OTHER BEASTS?!

Burning Spice Cookie & Silent Salt Cookie

These two before they fell probably sparred a lot and had fun doing it, they just loved beating each other up and after they fell? EH THEY PROBABLY STILL WOULD LIKE TO SPAR! Throw around the spear and sword and axe why don’t ya?

I see them having this sibling rivalry that started off healthy but after their fall and if we follow my headcannon and Silent Salt Cookie tried to talk to Burning Spice Cookie but that ultimately failing, they are probably not on speaking terms yet probably miss each other. A LOT.

Mystic Flour Cookie & Silent Salt Cookie

These two probably had, older siblings done with everyone’s bs vibes. They stay outta the other three’s way while they just sit in silence and admire nature or play cards quietly. They don’t need words to convey how much they mean to each other.

After the fall, I imagine this sad scene where Silent Salt Cookie tries to talk to Mystic Flour Cookie but she’s already gone, saying that it’s pointless and that she’s sealing herself away. Which breaks Silent Salt Cookie’s heart.

Shadow Milk Cookie & Silent Salt Cookie

Annoying smirk, goofy two shoes friend x Stoic “too tired of this shit” yet endures it because they love them friend, kinda vibes. Where Shadow Milk Cookie would lightly taunt Silent Salt Cookie and Silent Salt would just roll their eyes(?) and or just STARE at the audacity.

After the fall, Silent Salt Cookie would probably try and snap Shadow Milk Cookie in half while Shadow Milk would be like “DO IT! YOU WON’T!” I imagine after Silent Salt Cookie tried talking to Shadow Milk Cookie, it didn’t end well, resulting with Silent Salt Cookie feeling frustrated and their will to keep things together slowly wavering…

Eternal Sugar Cookie & Silent Salt Cookie

I will not lie, I ship them. They would probably have this sweet dynamic where she would rest on their shoulders or head and they would be chill with it, letting her basically use them as a free pillow. They would just be very psychically affectionate, hugging, laying next to each other and Silent Salt Cookie would try and protect Eternal Sugar Cookie, jumping in front of her to protect her and Eternal Sugar Cookie, comforts Silent Salt Cookie when their sad or mad.

After the fall, Silent Salt Cookie would go to Eternal Sugar Cookie, hoping, PRAYING that the one cookie that understands them would help them get the others back. Yet…She became a monster. Like, we can’t ignore how she DOESN’T treat the cookies under her care well and she is downright SINISTER. It would disturb Silent Salt Cookie to their core to see her so uncaring, in way that is downright insulting and evil. This is where they snap, believing that others…are unreliable…even those that they love.

CONCLUSION!

It���s most likely all of them fell at the same time or the order is mixed up, who knows. I like my head cannon though and I love Silent Salt Cookie and I will wait patiently and diligently until, they arrive!

I will probably add in Silent Salt Cookie’s minions in this post or in their own post! For now, take care, knights are cool and here in this blog WE APPRECIATE SILENT SALT COOKIE!!

Y’know, it kinda bugs me that the Kirby fandom repeatedly attempts to erase the closest things we have to Nonbinary characters in the series with Fecto Elfilis and Morpho Knight.

I don’t know, the choice of pronouns for these two feel deliberate, especially after Morpho Knight’s appearance in Forgotten Land, and even Elfilis using they/them pronouns to refer to themself with while controlling Leongar. I just wish a little more effort was put in when talking about these two

Drabble Synopsis: afab!reader feeling dysphoric trying on dresses to attend a friends wedding, supportive Steven as always 🥰

*Could be non-binary or gender fluid reader. Mentions of body dysphoria, embarrassment

Author’s note: lil self indulgence while I’m feeling crummy

Steven didn’t miss much when it came to your anxiety, especially not today. He holds your hand with a firmer grip than usual as you both make your way down the shopping center. “I’m sure you don’t have to if you don’t want to.” He says softly “We could find a nice jumper or a pantsuit for their wedding, yeah?”

You gulp down the lump in your throat and shake your head, eyes locked on the ground. “It’s just a dress.”

He steps in-front of you for a moment and lifts your chin, “It’s not just a dress love, not if you’re this nervous.”

Stubbornness flashes as you hold his gaze, “Yes, it is.”

“Alright, lead on.” Steven smiles softly and steps aside, opting to follow quietly beside you. As you both continue on though it’s you who holds his hand a bit tighter.

As soon as the glass doors of the boutique open the strong scent of perfume and slightly too loud music hit your senses. Then came all the colors.

Rack and racks of bright tops, ruffled dresses and sleek gold jewelry line the walls. In the middle sat a small collection of lounge chairs in-front of a large curved mirror.

“Do you want some space love?” He asks softly, nudging your arm to draw your attention.

“Ah, y-yeah.” You nod, hesitantly letting go of his hand and watching as he goes to sit in one of the plush chairs. “Okay, you got this.” You murmur before tentatively thumbing the closest rack of fabrics.

The soft textures calm your nerves, at least these feel like they’ll be comfortable. But as you pull things out the hyper feminine cuts and repeated ruching has your determination wavering.

“Finding everything okay dear?” A short older woman with a small name tag on her pillowy blouse chirps behind you, sending you with a gasp into the brightly colored tops.

“Shit! Sorry yeah ah, Susan, just looking for a dress.“

“Oh silly, the dresses are this way. Come with me!” She takes your arm and pulls you along to the other side of the shop.

Steven watches wide eyed when you pass him. An awkward smile and shrug cross your features as she tugs you along.

“Alright darling let’s see,” she eyes you up and down, “ah yes - with your figure I think these will do nicely.” She pulls dress after dress, laying them across your arms.

After she’s stacked several dresses in your arms she leads you over to one of the few dressing rooms. Steven perks up and looks eagerly at the pile in your grasp. “Feeling ambitious are we?”

“She is,” you chuckle and nod to Susan who’s opened the dressing room door.

“Come now your sweetheart will be right here waiting to see too.” She waves you inside and shuts the door behind you with a quiet click.

Unease creeps in the empty space as you hang up the dresses on the nearby hooks. You take a shuddering breath and glance at your reflection staring opposite you. “You got this.” The quiet reassurance feels hollow now that it’s actually time to try things on. How could fabric be so, unnerving…

You undress with your back to the mirror. Tossing the first dress overhead, pulling it down to about where you think it should be before turning to face your own reflection.

“Ohh, okay.” You gulp

“How it going? Ready to show and tell?” Susan’s voice lilts through the tight slats in the door.

“Ah,” you hum and glance down, heat rising to your face as you realize just how much cleavage this dress accentuates.

“Come now your beau is waiting!”

“Alright.” You step out, and Steven’s face says it all. A wash of pink creeps up his neck and paints his cheeks.

“Oh wow…” he moves to stand only to sit and cross his legs with a chuckle “You look, great.”

As you step out in-front of the multi angled full body mirror everything you usually de-emphasis is on full display. And while Steven is all too excited to see your assists flaunted in the flowey fabric your fretful movements and expression have him quickly losing his enthusiasm.

“But I mean, let’s see the rest yeah?” He urges, snapping you out of your whirling doubt long enough so you can make it into the privacy of the dressing room.

You yank the dress over your head and pull over the next. The neckline isn’t nearly as revealing but it clings closer to your curves. From the front it isn’t awful though. You poke your head out and step infront of the faceted mirror again. “This one isn’t bad I think?”

As you turn to get Stevens reaction his expression is wide eyed and that blush has deepened a shade. “Yeah ah, did you look at the back?”

You turn, turmoil roils in your belly and sends you speed walking back safety. As you press your forehead against the dressing room door the image flashes in your mind, ruching down the back went all the way down the cleft of another asset you weren’t looking to highlight.

Quicker than the last you yank the dress off, losing your footing and stumbling. A loud thud resounds in the silence as your head connects with the wall.

“Sweetheart?” Steven calls softly from the other side. “Can you let me in?”

You stifle your sniffles as tears prick your eyes from the ache in your head. You crack the door open just enough for him to come inside and close it quickly behind him.

Stevens expression softens as he sees the frustration and embarrassment carved into your features. “Shhh come here love.” He murmurs, pulling you into a tight embrace.

He nuzzles against your hair, peppering kisses across your temple. “I just - this shouldn’t be so hard…” you whimper into his shoulder, returning his hug with a tight embrace of your own.

“I know, it’s okay.” He coos, “we can leave when you’re ready.”

“Can I- try one more? Just in here, with you.” You murmur.

“Sweetheart we can do whatever you’d like.” He tightens his grip a moment before taking a step back to better read your expression. “Which one.”

You turn, glancing over the remaining dressing to pull one out. The soft emerald velvet brushes against your fingertips, “This one, I think.”

As you turn back to him Stevens sat in the chair in the corner, legs crossed once again and the deep blush returning to pepper his cheeks. “Sorry love, you are in your underwear.” He chuckles and nods to your hands. “That one looks nice.”

“Yeah,” you sigh, shimmying the soft fabric over your head and into place across your body.

The deep green fabric falls into place, a faux turtle neckline, chest completely covered and somehow even de-emphasized a bit. Hope rises in your eyes as you admire how the cut makes your shoulders look a little wider, how it shows some curves but the rich, deep color make it hard to highlight anything but a strong silhouette.

A soft sigh from behind you has you meeting Steven’s gaze in the mirror, “You look incredible. And - well-“

“I look like me, I think.” You murmur. “Could use a jacket for when it’s cold, or a shawl,”

“Or me,” He says with a smirk as he wraps his arms around your middle and appreciates the sight of you.

“Cheeky,” you lean back and peck his cheek before turning in his arms, “but yes, I will be keeping you close I suppose.”

“You suppose?” He pokes your sides a bit as he nuzzles into your neck. “You better.”

“I promise.” You smirk, “but we have another difficult task today…” Steven leans back and looks at you quizzically. You sigh and press your forehead against his, “Shoes.”

Nightshade Meeting More Transformers Like a Terrible Cop & a Mean Girl

(I think Barricade from Transformers 2007 Movie wasn't even a Cop before joining the Decepticons and is just a Fricking Sadist who used his Police Car Mode to Prank the Humans Probably)

short list of lgbt-inclusive games that i love (in brackets is the kind of representation):

- cattails and it‘s sequel, cattails: wildwood story (nonbinary, queer in general): these are both great games that warrior cats fans will love. also, every single cat in the game is non binary. everyone is only referred to by they/them and you can have kittens with anyone.

- starfield (nonbinary, bi, same sex relationships, trans): you can choose your pronouns (he, she or they) no matter your body type. you can also always change your body and pronouns for a small fee. some main companions talk about former partners of the same gender, in at least one case, a character references dating men and women. guards may also reference a partner of the same gender.

- skyrim (same sex relationships for player, gay): you can marry regardless of gender and adopt kids with your spouse. there is a dead gay couple. (this will be the only game with so little representation on this list. i included it because i love skyrim, because you can make it gayer with mods and because it is from 2011 so i don‘t have high expectations)

- ikenfell (nonbinary, queer relationships, neopronouns): a really fun rpg with a fun combat system. also very queer, every character has their pronouns listed and there are nonbinary people with they/them, ze/zir and even he/him pronouns. i haven‘t quite finished playing through it yet, but there are all kinds of queer relationships. oh and you save the game by petting cats

- wandersong (queer relationships, gender nonconformity, nonbinary): a really unique and wholesome game about a bard that wants to save the world. it has an amazing story and some of the most well written characters i have ever encountered. the bard is nonbinary and uses all pronouns and there is a noteworthy nonbinary character whose story doesn‘t revolve around them being nonbinary. they are fully accepted. there are plenty of queer relationships. there are mermaids with beard stubble.

- a short hike (nonbinary): an amazingly fun game that actually feels like a holiday. it also has a super fast turtle that goes by they/them pronouns

- shovel knight (queer relationships, trans, nonbinary): fun platformer that allows you to choose your body type (male/female) and your pronouns (he/she/they) independently from one another. you can also do the same for all bosses and your love interest.

- squidlit and super squidlit: really fun gameboy style games that were created by independent trans developers.

Brothers in all but blood and circumstance.

Two characters genned in the Pendragon Roleplaying game, Idris and Laudine. They met at 7, pages at 14, and squires on the verge of knighthood at 21.

Idris loves Laudine as a brother unquestioningly, and would get very angry at someone who pointed out that she was a woman. Nevertheless, he’s very good at braiding hair.

They will be knights one day.
