happy disability pride month, everyone! shoutout to all y'all with invisible disabilities that make it harder to get accommodations, mobility aids that make it harder to access even "accessible" spaces, visible differences & disabilities that make it harder to avoid abled antagonism, conditions & traits you aren't sure "count" as disabilities, and disabilities like mine that fall at the intersection between "physical" and "mental." shoutout to everyone who is disabled by societal ableism and is just fine with how their own brain and body works, actually. shoutout to everyone whose disability sucks, and everyone who would get rid of their disability in a heartbeat. shoutout to everyone who doesn't find themself in common dialogues about "disability & accommodations," because let's be honest - most of us don't. Our needs are many and diverse and even we cannot speak for each other, but we - like the queer community - stand together.
nothing about us without us.
happy pride.
#linden's originals#disability positivity post#disability pride month#disability wrath month#actuallydisabled#happy pride#side note in the tags: a lot of why i make this post is bc already some of the ''positivity posts'' i'm seeing are like#''especially physically disabled'' or w/e bc of that whole ''cripplepunk'' discourse re: whether neurodivergents cld reclaim ''cripple''#frankly i don't care. if ppl are applying a term to themself idc what they wanna use. but a lot of ableism came out of that debate#a lot of ''physical vs mental'' dichotomies that made me feel really invisible#like - fibromyalgia is characterized by ''phantom pain.'' by pain without a physical cause; by nerves & neurons misfiring#i use a wheelchair because of it but there is no physical reason - apart from my brain ofc; which is physical. brains are physical things#if you mean ''ppl who use mobility aids'' say that. but stop differentiating between ''physical'' disabilities & the rest of us#the rest of us are physically disabled too. and/or socially disabled:#in a state of enforced reduction of ability because the resources exist to live our lives to the fullest#and we can't: bc society is built for people with a specific physical makeup#(including neurological makeup. and also including configurations of limbs - and height; and facial appearances)#the Disfigured community & all those with visible differences from ''the norm'' are welcome here#little people are welcome here. as are intersex folks for the record -#being intersex is not (from what i understand) ''disabled'' per se. but our communities are closely aligned#both victims of institutionalized medical & social abuse. and some intersex variations include disabilities too -#so you're welcome here. just as you're welcome in the queer+ community. you are welcome to join us as we lend our voices to each other#all are welcome in the fight to breathe. until all of us can breathe easy#linden in the tags

Can you do some headcanons for Jack Hughes or Mitch Marner about them being with an ADHD/neurodivergent girl?? Like, a lot of my personal things are weird noises, textures (I love soft, but hate scratchy), random bouts of singing, and constant movement/fidgeting
yes ofc!! i’ll do mitch since you seem to be pretty infatuated with him! and there’s 100% nothing wrong with that.
as someone who doesn’t have adhd and isn’t neurodivergent, this might be a little bad and i apologize and ill try my best.
———————-
mitch marner with an ADHD/neurodivergent gf!
warnings/content: just fluff, mitch is sweet and understanding, gf has adhd and is neurodivergent, mentions of triggers gf doesn’t like (ill try not to add a lot so it doesn’t affect you), that should be all!
a/n- here’s my work for this request and i hope it’s close as can be, i want it to make sense and i want people to understand it. i’m extremely sorry if this offends anyone
definition of adhd: A chronic condition including attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness.
ADHD often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. It may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and difficulty at school or work.
definition of neurodiversity: The term “neurodivergent” describes people whose brain differences affect how their brain works. That means they have different strengths and challenges from people whose brains don't have those differences. The possible differences include medical disorders, learning disabilities and other conditions.
———————————
mitch marner
-mitch is an extremely sweet and understanding person. when you guys first started becoming friends and when you started dating, you explained everything to him.
-by explaining i mean telling him how certain things affect you, how you act towards certain things, what makes you comfy and uncomfy.
-he made sure to listen and understand what you meant. mitch is a vocal yet well kept person, so he doesn’t really have problems asking when he doesnt get something you say
-he also made sure not to ask to much or push anything further, he knows how hard it can be so he immediately educated himself to better understand.
-i feel like he can relate to some of the triggers you have or things you absolutely love.
-as neurodiversity is a bigger factor to depression, when you have downtimes, he makes sure to stay by your side but also give you space when needed
-if you guys are out in public, say at awards, he’s definitely making sure you’re 100% near him at all times. he doesn’t want you out of his line of sight, just to protect you.
-he loves you!! don’t forget that!! anything that you think are flaws, he sees them as perfection im telling you. mitch is extremely honest, so it goes perfect!!
-textures and sounds can play a huge roll in your life, so he makes sure he knows what you like and don’t like. such as soft texture and scratchy texture (i don’t really like that either).
-one of his favorite things about you, and there’s thousands, is when you just randomly start singing. like he’ll just be chilling with you on the couch, you both on your phones, and you just start singing. it’s like music to his ears, which it pretty much is music.
-your voice calms him down when he’s the one that’s had a bad day, and everyone has one no matter who you are and it’s normal. that’s why he always wants to be near you. you give him the comfort he needs and wants.
-when you move or fidget a lot, he calmly asks if everything’s okay and if you need him to do something or help you. i feel like that’s what he’d be like during the start and mid friendship and relationship.
-the longer you stayed with him, the more normal it was for him to know what to do. practice makes perfect and mitch lives by that, as hes also a hockey player and you need practice for that.
-overall, mitch understands you and loves you for who you are. and it’ll stay that way forever!
—————————————
okay well i hope you liked that! i tried to research and make sure i didn’t get anything wrong. i hope this wont offend anyone as im not the best educated on this stuff!

RULES ☆
Tumblr media
key:
italicized if it's a preference
asteriks if there is a note at the bottom with further context
what i will write :3
canon x canon, canon x reader (if you send a request and want your reader to have specific attributes, tell me, or i'll make it as neutral as possible), canon x oc for friends
readers of any gender (request specific pronouns please! neos, any pronouns, he/they, she/they, whatever floats your boat! if you give no pronouns and no indication of a gender for your reader such as f!/m!/gn!, i will default to they/them or dm you if you're off anon)
queer relationships, het relationships*, polyamory, monogamy, open relationships
dom, sub or verse readers/dom, sub or verse canon characters
most kinks are okay (including stuff like blood, impact play and weapon play) so feel free to get specific in my inbox
neurodivergent or disabled readers (if it's something i'm unfamiliar with i will do research and try my best, but please feel free to leave me pointers in your request to help me!)
oneshots, short series (think 2 or 3 parts), drabbles, headcanons
Tumblr media
what i wont write :3
no rape (dubcon is on thin ice), drugging, abuse*, yandere, pregnancy, pedophilia, student/teacher (even if its a college student) or large age gap pairings
nsfw for underage characters
no scat/piss/emeto, no cnc
no comfort works for csa/sa, self harm or eating disorders (writing this would probably trigger me, sorry)
long x reader series
Tumblr media
further info :3
you must be +18 to request nsfw or interact with nsfw content (you will be blocked if i catch you breaking this rule)
i wont write verbal/physical abuse between the main pairing but i wouldn't mind doing it as something the reader or the canon character have dealt with in the past (whether that be from a parent/ex partner/friend doesnt matter, you can specify in the request). if the canon character has been abused in their source material i will also include this ofc.
i wouldnt mind writing stuff like codependency or like kill for each other type shit, but there's a fine line between like. guy who kills somebody in defense of their partner bc it makes sense for the story/their character (think characters like adrian chase for example) vs making a character who doesn't rly kill people do that bc then it comes across more ooc and sometimes even yandereish...if that makes sense.
please give me an idea of what you want in a request, don't just send "character x reader" (give me a scenario or at least say like "fluff with [insert character]").
im not the fastest writer unless im really excited about a prompt, please be patient. thanks to adhd i can be a bit of a procrastinator, but if you sent a request please feel free to ask for progress updates (just give me the specifics of what you asked for so i know it's yours). depending on how busy i am irl, if i have writers block and how many requests i have, writing might go faster or slower.
i'll try to do things first come, first serve, but if somebody sends in a new idea that really excites me i might write theirs first even if yours came before theirs bc i have adhd brain and i can write things faster when i'm rly hyped about em
erm idk if anyone cares but im a self shipper so yeah perhaps fics with my f/o's will deranged (in a loving way), if you want a list of my f/o's for those concerned with stuff like sharing, here is a list of mine, i don't mind sharing tho <3 my content is aimed towards selfshippers and i wouldn't wanna exclude anyone who shares so much love for the same lil guys as me
some characters i wont write x f!reader/m!reader for, please check this list before requesting (this is not an issue with any straight/bi/other interpretations of these characters, it just has to do with my comfort level and how i interpret that character)
like i mentioned before, i have adhd and i am specifically unmedicated at the moment, which means sometimes i'll write a lot more of one fandom than the others i'm into. this does not mean you can't request a different fandom! i will always be multifandom, i will always love my past fandoms, it just might take me a bit longer to write your request.
at the end of the day i just wanna keep things fun, writing has been a hobby of mine for over a decade now, so pls try to be kind to me and i'll be kind back! if any of these rules are unclear just send me an ask and i'll try to clarify!

“”We've decided it's okay to be hateful and bigoted towards this specific marginalized group of neurodivergents because it's technically not a disability" isn't the slam dunk argument you think it is.”
To add to this, discussing whether or not being against certain types of plurality is specifically ableism or sanism is not really productive if people are able to talk about discrimination linked to being not a singlet and how society views those experiences. If people are on the same page about what that is and are able to have a conversation, they don’t really need to be corrected.
Like personally ‘ableism’ is a term that I view as being linked to ‘discrimination against able-bodied people’ - and being abled-bodied is linked to not having a physical disability. People use it for all disabilities (including psychosocial ones), and I’m ofc not going to correct them because it makes sense to them, but even my perspective on it is difficult to accurately define (like anyone can become physically disabled at any time, conditions go undiagnosed all the time, and the idea of gatekeeping discrimination for a lack of a better description is strange to me… like that’s not how it works)
Both my experiences of alterhumanity and plurality were viewed as symptoms of psychosis even though they were not. People with DID/MPD/OSDD do sometimes get misdiagnosed with psychosis. I think there is at least somewhat of an overlap in experiences here when I also was misdiagnosed with DID.
Thanks for your input. I agree with this in a lot of ways. I do think it can be okay to have conversations about the language we use though so long as that doesn't minimize or erase the bigotry.
I might occasionally say that I think prejudice against non-disordered plural systems would technically qualify as sanism rather than ableism, but the main point of those posts is often establishing that the bigotry is just as bad regardless of what term you use to describe it.
So often, when anti-endos pull out there "it's not ableist" card, it's a way to justify their hate and bigotry and try to make it acceptable on a technicality. The thing that I hope anti-endos would takeaway from my post about sanism is that even if they're right and hatred of endogenic systems doesn't meet the technical definition of ableism, it's still prejudice. It's still discrimination. It's still bigotry.
My posts on the distinction between sanism and ableism aren't aimed quite as much as endogenic systems calling the experiences ableist as it is towards anti-endos who hide behind technicalities to defend promoting hate and hostility towards neurodivergent people.

misc notes about nubs and bubs working in the slaughterhouse that may be somewhat inaccurate, warning for mentions of animal death:
The “airgun” (captive bolt pistol) is not what is used to kill the animal, it is to stun it before killing it. The methods of actually killing the stunned animal (exsanguination or further head trauma) would not have changed as far as I know, so I’m not sure why the Sawyers would be put out of jobs due to the captive bolt pistol. Tcm is partially predicated on a misunderstanding of how a slaughterhouse works, though I guess it works for its themes on industrialization and what becomes of people considered obsolete.
The Humane Slaughter Act of 1958 was what required animals to be stunned by mechanical (or electrical, chemical) means, ex. the captive bolt gun for cattle, before slaughter. If Nubbins was ~25 in the script, he would have been 10 when this was implemented; of course, these regulations are not necessarily followed, especially when they live in the middle of nowhere. You have to be 18 to legally work in a slaughterhouse. For Nubbins, this would be 1966. I have no clue at what period Bubba would have been able to work, considering he is younger by an unknown amount.
However, slaughterhouses have a record of exploiting vulnerable workers, including hiring underage people. I doubt Nubbins or Bubba were ever put in schooling, being mentally ill and/or disabled in a rural setting and with an abusive brother raising them. It’s unlikely he taught them to read. (though choptop can, and was also able to be drafted, but that’s another story)
Slaughterhouse work is very hazardous. Minimum or illegally low pay, constant threat of injury, often no breaks. It’s work that is not respected by the public it supplies meat to, and society would like to ignore both the slaughtered animal and the slaughterer. A family that’s always been in meat is inherently alienated and in the midst of generational poverty.
Research about trauma from working in a slaughterhouse is recent, and would only be a conjecture in the 70s. Obviously they are desensitized from the constant killing of helpless animals, of breaking down what was once alive into useful parts.
But could Leatherface as a grandma (harmless, domestic, shows curiosity about Sally) vs. Leatherface as a Killer be the result of, or at least exacerbated by, perpetrator trauma? It’s been said he has no identity without the masks, but there was a time before he needed them to function. The noises he’d be subjected to on a daily basis probably make using a chainsaw without ear protection easier, at least.
While always being neurodivergent, basing their family identity over an exploitative and dangerous job, suffering the effects while accepting it as Normal, then being discarded (through a faulty premise but anyway) worsened their mental health and ofc further isolated them from society. And now Bubba is not allowed or able to leave the home, and Nubbins is expected to never leave him alone (he often does, but as seen in his van adventure, he is unable to navigate social situations without violence). Would it make more sense if they were simply worked until they couldn’t anymore, and having zero reference of relationships, whether workplace-related or familial, that are not harmful, they blame their misfortune on outside forces?

i think about how much i love this definition of transmasculine like all the time lol TTwTT
Any person who was assigned female at birth but feels that is an incomplete or incorrect description of their gender.
- What’s in a Word?: Crafting Transmasculine (2006)
i wish it were a more widely understood definition bc as far as i’ve ever heard, there’s no other word that describes both binary and nonbinary afab people (and vice versa for transfem obvs) without referencing their agab. that’s something i think we sorely need! and while i def think “transmasculine” as a term has issues: bc it has “masculine” in it, it’s often used to actually refer to how masc someone is, which is alright on a personal level ofc, but becomes problematic if you’re trying to describe an entire group of people with it.
like, i identify as transmasc, but i don’t identify with any definition of it that is something like “ transgender person [...] whose gender is masculine and/or who express themselves in a masculine way.” (from the nonbinary wiki) bc for me personally that feels reductive and limiting; i don’t like to define my gender by how masc or fem i am.
without a word like transmasc to mean “anyone afab who feels that is an incomplete/incorrect description of their gender”, we can’t talk about our collective experiences as afab trans/nonbinary people without prefacing it with what our assigned sex is, and that feels like a cis-centric (in the sense that people often frame transness around that “female-to-male”/”male-to-female”, genitalia-centric view of our identity), outdated framing that defines us by our agab rather than our actual identity.
i don’t feel that my transness is defined by my agab, & i personally think it’s really important to trans liberation to reject any framing that chains us to the birth assignment framework. being trans can be so much more than that! community, shared history, self-creation, liberation, love, solidarity, self-expression, etc., all of which are more important to me than what sex i was assigned.
(besides that, there are also trans people who feel dysphoria being reminded of their agab, and i’d rather not unnecessarily bring it up if i can help it)
it’s probably cheesy to say but i’m fine with being an embarrassing millennial on social media, so i’ll say that transmasc is genuinely such a powerful word when used this way! it could represent solidarity and agency where we’re so often denied it! i mean we gay/trans/neurodivergent/disabled/etc people know how powerful it is to find the language/tools to describe our positions and experiences. realizing i was autistic was literally so life changing, and then before that, realizing i was trans completely changed my life from feeling like i must be a terrible person, being an isolated kid who was sure i must be the only person on earth who felt like this because i’d never heard anyone talk about these experiences before, to realizing that there’s language to describe how i feel, and there’s a community of people who share those experiences!
that’s why i feel so strongly about this definition of transmasculine, bc right now i don’t think there’s any other word that describes the particular group of people with the experience of being an afab trans/nb person (and vice versa for amab trans/nb people!). i would love if there were another one, esp if it didn’t include the “masculine” part just bc i think it gives the wrong impression that it’s something to do with gender presentation or manhood,, but until there is i’ll keep using transmasc.
it’s so important to have the language to describe our experiences, and name the people affected by certain experiences rather than keeping them separate and isolated and less capable of bridging that gap to form solidarity with others, eg. on twitter i see a lot of references to how g*nder cr*tical people and other right wingers target trans men specifically, but they leave out nb afab people from that description even tho we share those experiences. instead of changing it to “trans men and afab nb people” or “afab trans and nb people” i personally think that saying “transmasculine people” gets the job done better and faster and is more inclusive when we’re using the above definition!

mental illness isn't cute nor a fun quirk to have, and i'm saying that as someone who's mentally ill and is neurodivergent.
ofc i believe we shouldn't demonize mental illness and i know this idea of mental illness being cute only really applies to some disorders like depression, anxiety ocd etc. personality disorders get demonized to high hell and should be destigmatized but i personally don't have experience with that so i can't speak on that.
but i can talk about the disorders i do have and how hearing discussions around mental illness can really frustrate me. like there's two sides to this a) who see mental disorders that includes disabilities as something scary, shameful and should be hidden and type b) usually teenagers and young adults who bcs of the influx of representation and discussions around mental health know a lot more yet seem to get it in their mind that to be interesting you have to have some diagnosis? "omg i'm so ocd rn" "i can't focus i must have adhd"
as someone who went through type A for years when i transferred schools and was surrounded by type b people i believed it was a good thing like waaay better than before, same with the content i found on social media that were way more positive bcs to me that meant that i was no longer demonized or pushed aside which is great! but honestly it isn't as much of an improvement as i first thought.
though i will say before someone misunderstands me: i am not at all against learning about different mental disorders and self diagnosing. i definitely think our knowledge on mental health is improving due to more representation or people being more open, but i still want to acknowledge the side of people who misuse the new found attention and support use and do harm to the community, whether intentionally or not.
it's just that some type b people can sometimes be as harmful as type A from my experience. at that school i was constantly surrounded by these ppl and every single time someone talked about mental illness it was always in such a romanticized way, it became a funny adjective, every serious disorder was simply just a cute quirk?? i once overheard a real life conversation where ppl where assigning each other mental disorders the same way you talk about zodiac signs!? also certain people straight up trauma dumping to be funny without any prior warning or anything, i often got so uncomfortable i had to leave the room multiple times. something even more horrifying i was told was by my roommate who told me her autistic sister with tics who went to a different school, people in her school started to copy her tics to the point it became a trend in the entire school.
i've realized this problem especially when i'm with neurotypical ppl my age where every time i mention or its brought up that i'm neurodivergent, they always get the feeling that they need to match up with me??? if that makes sense. listen icantbelieveimsayingthis BUT there's nothing wrong with being neurotypical, not being mentally ill or having trauma... that doesn't make you boring or less interesting and honestly thinking it does really is a slap in the face of people who are neurodivergent and or mentally ill.
i'm so tired of discussions around mental health being so black and white all the time like either I'm treated like a abomination or I get infantilized/romanticized. it really fucking sucks

Big Feelings
CW: abuse, yelling, harm, being disregarded
--
All my life, people have told me that my emotions are too intense. Including my ex/spouse. and family. and past partners. and friends.
It's so painful (and unhealthy because it raises my stress level so much causing me to flare up all of my chronic body pain) for me to keep it all inside all the time just so people don't freak out. I hate that I have to choose who I can be myself with - where I just want to be myself. Period.
But maybe if people freak out consistently, then they shouldn't be in my life. Instead of me having to change (and like... obligatory: my mental health is just fine; I'm queer and neurodivergent), maybe everyone else can just choose me (or lose me, amirite) instead of wanting me to perform in a certain way.
--
Today, my emotions ranged from pain, exhaustion, happiness, fulfillment, anxiety, confusion, panic, grief, joy, warm friendship fuzzy feels, tenderness, sapphicness, love, amazement, curiousity, wonder, anger, hurt, and probably a lot more. I'm dynamic. Most of us are...?
Why do people judge me for having so many emotions? Or my actions, despite my emotions?
I had an ex (yeah if you're reading this, it's about you babe - I love you but you also fucked me up emotionally for 5 years and put me down constantly and dismissed all of my gender/sexuality exploration) who told me he was an emotionless robot - but all he really was was an emotionally stunted man who grew up in a toxic patriarchal society that further caused him to be insecure and uptight about how he felt. He could never articulate why he loved me other than that he liked how nice I was, how hot I was, and that I had boobs. He had some BIG FEELINGS and never acknowledged them. He was alarmed quite frequently by my BIG FEELINGS too. I think he's better now, but I'm gonna put him and everyone else on blast anyway.
Jon did it too - but in a very insidious and toxic way. They expected me to hold all their feelings, but when I expressed any of mine, they thought I was just being silly or hysterical (yep: they did blame my period multiples times! WOW). They would yell at me saying that I was "always in a crisis" (which to be fair, when you are permanently disabled with chronic pain conditions while doing a PhD and surviving in this capitalistic nightmare hell... then ofc). Sometimes they'd just yell at me relentlessly, just dumping on me with no coherence. When I tried to gather my thoughts to share how I felt - I did not receive any patience or kindness. It wasn't always this way - there was a time that they embraced all of me. But eventually, they chipped away at my psyche until I was a shell of myself. But at least I was myself so I could pull myself out of there. A lot of people don't realize the many factors of why it's so hard to leave a DV situation, even when you know the abuse is occurring. And then the stigmas that comes with it afterward. All the stigmas from every direction.
--
So what does it matter anymore? Since everyone is going to judge me anyway, then I'm just going to do what I want and think how I want and focus on my own healing.
I am so tired of not being able to express my thoughts. I am so tired of not being heard. My perspective matters.

The Boys With an Autistic MC HC !! (SFW !)
(aka I’m projecting bc sad) (I also have adhd so there will be adhd moments)
Lucifer:
This boy has so much work yet he still find the time to help you put together a routine
WILL make sure you stick to it
He will rearrange the entire school if it will help you
If any demon and I mean ANY demon is even the slightest bit mean to you they go mysteriously missing the next day
Sometimes he infantilises you but he doesn’t mean to, tell him to cut it out and the shame will rip through him
In line with that you will probably find him cutting the crusts off your sandwiches and rearranging your stuffies, up to you if you want him to stop that (I hate crusts and my teddies deserve to be comfortable too)
Makes sure you’re accommodated everywhere in the devildom not just rad and and the hol
One day you realise his suit jacket? Perfect fabric for stimming
He starts dressing according to the fabrics you like
Let’s you hold his sleeve arm when talking bc it’s a good stim
Will put his jacket on you when you’re overwhelmed and need some familiarity
You start to associate his smell with safety
Mammon:
Pretends he doesn’t care
Treats you the most normal out of all the brothers
Has actually memorised your routine and knows your stressors/meltdown/shutdown triggers
White knights you very subtly
You think demons are very accepting in the devildom but in reality mammon does the same as luci but his approach is much more ‘stop it before it starts’
Buys you stimmies bc he loves the way you look when you’re happy stimming (yes BUYS not steals)
Too embarrassed to give you them so they just appear in your room
He’s just coincidentally in the hallway when you come rushing out to show people
You eventually realise it’s gotta be him bc he’s always there when you find em so you just start running directly to him
Loves it if you have echolalia
Tries to get you to repeat ‘the great mammon’ as much as possible
If he finds you repeating words/beeping at the microwave he will engage and do the same until you happy stim (then he will try get you to repeat ‘mc’s first man the great mammon’
If you start calling him that ?! The boy will melt. (I get intense echolalia with ‘mammonie’ and i think he would straight up die hearing mc go ‘mammonie mammonie mammonie’
After all it makes sense that the great mammon is constantly on your mind
Levithian:
Another nerd ?! Heck yeah!! !
Very glad you aren’t a normie
Perhaps relates the most to your experience against the allistics as ppl don’t like him bc he’s a ‘yucky okatu’
Loves when you talk about a special interest (SI) because you’re just as obsessive as he is
Will try and get you obsessed with anime and manga if you aren’t already
Is a shut in so he gets that people are overwhelming and scary at times
Is uncharacteristically vulnerable and open with you bc he feels like you understand his existence at a deeper level
If you like squishes (and show him first) he will start asking for the deep pressure hugs when he feels he needs them
But ofc bc you’re both you, the method for asking is just repeating the word squish over and over while you hug
Eye contact !? Oh hell no
Most of your conversations are done facing away from each other
Asmodeus:
Same clothes? Comfort items? No no no no no you gotta look beautiful like you are!
Does not entirely get it at first, how can anyone want to wear something more than once?
Once you explain it he will drag you shopping (to high end shops, using avoiding crowds as an excuse to pamper you) to find a signature, beautiful, comfortable and easy to put on outfit for you to wear
He will then buy 30 of them just in case you lose anything
He WILL give you presents randomly after you told him you like to wear clothing with emotional significance
Bonding time includes decorating your ear defenders and sunglasses
If your SI is anything to do with fashion or beauty or just asmo things in general this boy will NEVER leave your side. You become the only person he wants to talk to
If you excited stim by bouncing, hand flapping or squealing he is right there with you creating a feedback loop of excited stimming
When he finds out you like routine he will check you’re doing the beauty routine he made for you every night
If you’re too tired he will do it for you (or even if you just ask he loves being close to you)
If you’re touch repulsed he will ask every time before he even gets close to you (EVERY DAMN TIME ! This man understands consent and the fact that some days touch is too much others it’s not)
Satan:
Acts like lucifer visa the routine n rad but with no infantilising
Reads every study ever done on autism and neurodivergence ever
ANGOR at human world autism studies bc they’re dumb and there’s so much more interesting things to investigate to do with being autistic
He does go to the human world and he does stab a$$ and those involved
If you let him he will study you
Tracks your sleep, eating habits, and mood regulation (after he asks ofc)
Meltdowns? No that’s a regular day in Satan’s head
He lets you use his rage room (he definitely has a room exclusively for smashing stuff) if you feel even a little stressed
Likes talking about your SI’s with you bc it’s rare he finds someone so knowledgeable on a subject
Beelezebub:
The kindest most patient boy

Hi, I saw your last posts and I was curious if that's okay. My questions refer to how people with disabilities feel about certain things and I understand if you dont want to answer. I don't mean to pressure you into feeling like you have to represent everyone, I'm just looking for someone else's insight.
I've spoken with a few other users who are really certain of the albeism in the TBB show but I haven't had the chance to talk to someone who actually has a disability (you mentioned having Autism). (I fairly sure autism is a considered a disability, correct me if I'm wrong ofc)
Do you think there's less albeism in show than what people claim? I hear others mainly complain about Echo, Tech and Wrecker. I was just wondering if disabled people actually had an issue with the show, since my experience with the matter is fairly limited.
I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but I just prefer checking what people from certain groups think before throwing around big words. Because if it doesn't bother people with disabilities, then why would I call it albeist?
Also, this is just for me, but I've been told by adults that people with disabilities don't like being referred to as disabled. Yet on the Internet I've seen that softened terms like "differently-abled" actually bother people with disabilities. Which terms would you recommend I use?
Best regards,
Fellow Star Wars Fan
Hi! Thank you for the honest question! I most certainly cannot speak for everyone, only on my own experiences and those of my loved ones.
I have seen many people speak about how Tech makes them feel seen when it comes to Autism rep. I am part of a large group on Facebook that has had multiple discussions about it with a lot of people, including those not as emerged in the fandom that have come forward saying how nice it is to have the representation.
Like I said in my post, I see a lot of myself and loved ones that fall on the Autism spectrum in Tech and how he's represented. The thing with Autism is that it is a huge spectrum with a wide variety of perspectives. My parents, who also both are on the spectrum, have commented on the neurodivergent aspects of the Batch as a whole.
The problem comes when people who do not fall into these groups try to speak for them. It happens with any kind of minority, whether it be race related, ability, religious, etc.
As for the term question. That falls to personal preference a lot of the time. Disability and disabled are not seen as negative terms by some, but they are by others. A good term to use when it comes to mental related things is neurodivergent as opposed to neurotypical. The best thing to do is to use what individual people are comfortable with. Person first language is important in a lot of situations. (ex. Person who is blind/deaf/autistic/etc rather than 'disability person'). Again some feel differently, but that is A safe place to start and then adjust to others' preferences.
I cannot speak much for physical disability representation as I do not fall into that category myself. If people with those experiences don't have a problem with it, then I would not consider it a problem. But again, everyone has a different experience and opinion.
Overall, I think people are too critical of The Bad Batch. There are some valid complaints on some points, but it has become WAY too nitpicky and outraged at everything.
Thank you for seeking out information on a topic you're not as informed on from a personal source! 😊

SPACE MOUNTAIN: THE MOVIE DISNEY WOULD MAKE IF IT HAD THE BALLS
the movie takes place in a fantasy sci-fi setting where advanced technology exists but it’s all due to magic. padmé amidala is a disney princess, the heiress guardian to space mountain, a holy site that has existed for thousands of years, a giant mountain that connects the kingdoms of the earth below to the heavens above and keeps the magical elements of the world in balance. it’s hollow inside and houses bustling high-tech cities of thousands of people, all of which padmé rules over. as its guardian and ruler, it is her job to keep space mountain balanced toward light magic. to help her, she has a council of warriors called the lumiknights who are basically the jedi. in fact, the head of the knight council, a woman named malvina luminaire, told her a prophecy that she will be the one to balance it toward the light once and for all. however, the regions below are also in a crisis due to things being shifted too much toward the light: nature is out of balance, and the land is suffering greatly for it. padmé thinks, though, that the solution to the crisis is to shift the balance more toward the light, in spite of that literally being the problem.
darth vader, on the other hand, is the demon prince of the realm of exegol; he is not fully in charge of the demon kingdom due to him still being young when his parents were dead, so his regent is supreme chancellor sidious. he was supposed to earn the princess’s trust by disguising as a human named anakin skywalker so that he could gain the secrets of the mountain for sidious and use it to plunge the realm into eternal darkness. he earns the trust of the council of knights, who eventually appoint him to the council. throughout the course of the story, he and padmé also fall in love, which is super duper forbidden because the princess of space mountain is only allowed to marry other people of noble birth.
throughout the movie, both anakin and padmé have visions. padmé has visions of anakin turning into this horrific monster of dark magic, while anakin has visions of padmé dying after she balances space mountain--she is consumed by the mountain, but another shadowy figure seems to be benefitting from this as well. yoda is also in here, he’s a hermit who left the council a long time ago, he’s sorta a rafiki-like character who keeps trying to tell padmé that her current path is putting her in danger, but she’s like “it’s destiny, i have to follow my destiny.” there are also a ton of hints that anakin is vader, such as vader being oddly protective of padmé in his conversations with sidious and even letting her go in a fight scene. shit happens, i don’t know what, but vader gains access to the mountain’s secrets and in an absolutely apocalyptic-looking scene he corrupts the mountain, killing malvina luminaire (no graphic death is shown though, she has one of those classic cartoon getting crushed by a falling object deaths). this also plunges the land into darkness in a process that is completely irreversible unless it is unstopped by the one thing that embodies light magic the most: true love. padmé goes to try and find anakin so that their love can undo the corruption of space mountain, but vader meets her along the way. he then tells her that he is anakin, in a reveal that in this verse would be just as shocking and iconic as the “i am your father” reveal to luke.
he shapeshifts back into anakin and starts pleading with her. he tells her of his visions that she would shift the mountain to the light and then die for it, and then drops the BIGGEST BOMBSHELL……he figured out from talking to yoda that malvina luminaire’s prophecy is a LIE. malvina’s plot this entire time was to get rid of padmé by having her balance the mountain so that she would be the strongest lumiknight in the land. so vader considered not following sidious’ plot and turning the mountain dark because of his love for her, but then did it once he found out this new information in order to save her.
padmé goes to yoda and asks if this is true. yoda says something to the effect of the absolute truth this is, tried to tell you i have. she asks him what she should do now and he says that only her and anakin’s love together can bring the mountain back into balance, but that he has fallen down a very dark path and he fears that this might not work--that vader may by now be too consumed by anger and hate and lust for power to love. padmé says she has to try, and so she does. she manages to get through to him ofc, and the two of them face sidious together. possibly the best scene in all of the movie is when vader literally PUNCHES SIDIOUS DOWN A REACTOR SHAFT, like literally, he decks him in the face and sends him flying over the railing and sidious falls screaming to his death.
padmé and anakin then go to the top of the mountain and place their hands on the summit, pouring their love into it to stabilize the mountain--the balance of light and dark solves the crisis, and there’s a scene panning across all the kingdoms around it that show how nature heals thanks to the power of these two’s magic and love, and then the two of them kiss. she also realizes that technically, since anakin is a prince--the prince of exegol--the two of them can marry, and her parents are like ‘well we can’t argue with that.’ the movie ends with padmé and anakin waving out at a cheering crowd, the guardians of space mountain, with a toddler luke in anakin’s arms and a toddler leia in padmé’s.
disney would never make this movie in real life because it would include the following things:
a mixed race neurodivergent couple (i love brown padmé, her name is sanskrit for ‘lotus flower’ so she could definitely be desi)
accurate depictions of mental illness (padmé’s depression and anakin’s bipolar), mental disability (anakin’s ADHD) and physical disability (anakin’s phantom pains)
accurate depiction of abuse that isn’t played for laughs--sidious is very much anakin’s abuser, and unlike gaston’s abuse of lefou this isn’t slapstick, it’s serious. little kids might not pick up on it but any adult can tell what it is at the way he shrinks back and flinches at sidious’ voice and the subtle gestures/threatening tones of voice that sidious makes that look like he’s about to lash out at ani.
positivity for amputees and burn victims--ani has all four prosthetic limbs and some burn scars and he’s still considered the hottest man in the land
diverse POC cast in a scifi setting

W.I.T.C.H. Reboot! W.I.T.C.H. Reboot! W.I.T.C.H. Reboot!
hi love! so, with the plethora of reboots kicking around mainstream media these days, its no surprise that the question of a w.i.t.c.h reboot has been broached by its fans. i have so, so, so many thoughts and this, but ill divide them into three categories for the purpose of brevity: firstly, general thoughts on what i would like to see if a w.i.t.c.h reboot is on the cards; secondly, what i would like to see in a live-action w.i.t.c.h reboot; and finally, what a decent animated reboot of w.i.t.c.h might entail. this is not an exhaustive list so please feel free to add onto this if youve any more thoughts! without further ado because jesus, we might be here a while….
general thoughts:
a w.i.t.c.h live action reboot should largely use the comics are source material. while the cartoons are beloved by many including myself, i reckon the good parts of each should be combined to be thematically consistent, fix plot holes etc. but the comics should be the bible here
the target demographic of younger women and girls would need to be established early on by the producers (personally i would love to see a slightly more mature, w.i.t.c.h college AU where the target demographic could be teens/young adult women and girls, but more on that later). this isnt to say that young men and boys would be absolutely excluded as an audience, but misogyny is alive and well in 2019, and our voices as women need to be uplifted. this is exemplified by the fact that caleb was given far, far, far too much screentime in the cartoon so that the show could reach a young, male audience, and his characters was mangled by chauvinistic tendencies. thank u, next.
i have my own preferences wrt to ships, but i think we can all agree that introducing male characters as mere plot devices for drama/conflict only to put them ‘on a bus’ when theyre no longer useful is just plain bad writing. this is a critique levelled both at the cartoon and comics, but largely the comics (see: Eric)(rip in peace).
i also believe that sticking to the conventions of a particular genre, or hybrid genre, would be preferable if a w.i.t.c.h reboot were to take place. some shows get it right, but I’ve seen a ton of shows go off the rails when they try to be a fantasy/comedy/crime/drama/horror/sci-fi/occult/soap-opera extravaganza all in one. i reckon a YA fantasy drama with comedic moments, something with a similar vibe to Shadowhunters or The Shannara Chronicles, could work really well. if we’re talking animated reboot, something with a similar tonal atmosphere to The Dragon Prince or Into the Spiderverse, would also be great
this shouldnt even need to be said but please, for the love of god, no musical episodes (heres looking at you, Riverdale).
i think i speak on everyones behalf when i say that, irrespective of the age demographic of the show, LGBT rep in w.i.t.c.h would be amazing. irma/cornelia have always been a practically canon fan favourite, but cassidy and nerissa’s relationship is definitely more than strictly platonic, so that could be developed upon too. trans/nonbinary!will is also a popular headcanon that could work. once there are lgbt heroes, and not just lgbt villains, i think we’ll all be happy.
similarly, seeing some neurodivergency in the characters could also be great: elyon dealing with pts after the fallout with phobos; irma struggling with adhd in school or college; hay lin and taranee also exhibit some traits of anxiety in canon. autistic!will would also work, and someone else in the squad is bound to be affected by depression given its pervasive nature these days.
much and all as i adore the guardian outfits, i think there would need to be a few changes made. the midriff-and-leg-baring get-ups, though very cute, become very jarring when you realise the characters are meant to range in age from 12 to 14. i dont have any specific thoughts on how improvements could be made, but lengthening hemlines could be a start. if anyone has any more thoughts, i’d love to hear them!
of course, there needs to be women in the writers room, lgbt people in the writers room, poc in the writers room, people with neurodivergencies in the writers room, etc. we all know what happens when writers rooms lack diversity, and it sure as hell aint pretty.
body diversity was something that was tentatively approached in the comics (irma is curvier than the others, at least in her mundane form), but eschewed almost entirely in the cartoon, with all the girls maintaining similar heights and waifish proportions. it would be worthwhile, not to mention realistic, for the girls to go through some body-image hang ups. maybe will is insecure about her ‘underdeveloped’ body, or maybe taranee longs to have the same curvaceous figures as other dancers her age. i think if they were to go for a message of body positivity, irma, loud and brash with no fucks to give, should love every inch of her fat body and encourage the girls to adopt her 'devil-may-care’ attitude. the patriarchy be damned.
one flaw with the comics AND the cartoons are that they dont really explore the worldbuilding a lot. we do spend some time on meridian in the comics and the cartoon, but largely from the perspective of either elyon, or caleb and the rebels. i wonder what a day on meridian would look like for the average meridianite peasant? what do meridianites do for fun? what language(s) do they speak? what are their religious/spiritual belief(s)? what are the styles of dress dictated by? meridian is based on medieval societies, and a caste system is suggested, but i would have loved to see the social hierarchies expanded on a little more. does the matriarchal nature of meridian rule value women and their labour? what about LGBT people on meridian? people with disabilities and neurodivergencies? is there any discrimination against the different species on meridian? in fact, i dont know if it was ever explicitly outlined to us the different species of peoples on meridian, in the cartoon or the comics. honestly id be happy to see a filler, AtLA Tales of Ba Sing Se-esque episode on meridian to cover all of these bases
one thing i loved from the comics that didnt translate as well in the cartoon were the girls’ passions and interests. will is obsessed with frogs, she rides her bike to her job at pet store, she swims, stresses over math homework. irma loves music and talking to her pet turtle, leafy; i could totally see her doing a stint at the college radio station or working part time at a record store. cornelia loves ice skating and has received tons of awards and accolades for her achievements on the ice. taranee is an avid photographer and dancer, but i could totally see her spending her spare time at rallies and protests too. hay lin is a proficient artist, making her own clothes and poring over paintings between shifts at the silver dragon. all of these things and more are what make these characters so well-rounded, relatable, likeable. their hobbies need to be weaved into the fabric of the show (not just brought up once for a silly plot device in cornelia’s case, or never brought up at all in taranee’s, as seen in the cartoon) in order for it to work
live action reboot thoughts:
this should go out without saying, but a live action w.i.t.c.h reboot should cast actors of colour to play characters of colour. hay lin, and by extension her family, need to be played by Chinese actors, while taranee needs to be played by a black actor, preferably one of east asian descent, etc. if they add a little more diversity to the cast i would be totally pleased. latina!irma is a popular headcanon that i ascribe to, and will has always been kinda ambiguously brown, so adding less ambiguous representation for poc to the cast would really be excellent
of course, age-appropriate casting is a must. more specifically, there should not be any 25-30 year olds playing characters in their mid-late teens, unless ofc they could actually pass for the age they are trying to play. shows like The OA and The End of the Fucking World really get this right (most other teen/YA dramas, not so much. less of the chiseled abs and rock hard pecs on teens, please)
this one might be tricky to get right, particularly with budget constraints, but i think a really good CGI/visual effects team is necessary for a w.i.t.c.h reboot to work. unless an adequate amount of the budget is spent on making sure the magic looks realistic, almost plausible, it will make everything else look cheap by comparison
also, this is more of a personal preference, but i’d love to see someone with a really beautiful visual aesthetic and scope of cinematography. i’m talking Sense8-esque levels of cinematographic beauty
i’m really rambling now but, similarly, it’d be so cool to see someone who could use lighting/colour theory in very particular ways. in Marvel’s Netflix Originals, each character has their own theme colour; in Jessica Jones, for example, all of the scenes are very blue and almost leeched of warmth, while in Luke Cage there seems to be a warm yellow filter over everything. how cool would it be if all Taranee-centric scenes had a slight gold hue? or if all of cornelia’s scenes were lit with green? maybe all of the colours could combine in the a subtle yet effective way when all of the guardians are together to show their unity and combined strength.
thoughts on an animated reboot:
i know very little about animation so these thoughts will be brief, but an art and animation style something like that of Into the Spiderverse would be really gorgeous. it is fluid, dynamic, beautiful to look at and, most importantly, reflects the comic format in a moving image perfectly. alternatively, the animation studio behind The Legend of Korra could also be wonderful. the visual effects used for magic would look absolutely incredible
one thing i have to praise the Jetix cartoon for is their choice of voice actors, which were, in many cases, spot on. while cornelia’s VA was annoying and shrill, the actors playing characters of colour were themselves people of colour. if an animated reboot was on the cards, i think it could be a great opportunity to once again include some diversity to the cast, namely hiring actors of colour to play characters of colour
please let no one who worked on voltron near a w.i.t.c.h animated reboot with a ten foot pole. no i will not elaborate
tl;dr at the risk of sounding like an entitled millennial, a w.i.t.c.h reboot should be less about creating something entirely new for a brand new audience, and more about building on what the longtime fans of w.i.t.c.h already love and bringing it forward for the older generation. all on all, we grew up with w.i.t.c.h, so it’s time for us to have our reboot. thanks for coming to my TED talk!

I thought a lot of us could use this reminder right now. If you’re lgbt+ and or questioning you are so valid and amazing! ❤ This ofc includes lgbt poc, disabled ppl, neurodivergent ppl, trans / non-binary ppl, and everyone on the aro/ace spectrums.  :)
