Plot: okay so i want y/n to be remus "younger" twin. Sirius and y/n are a couple and like sirius always wants to cuddle and that stuff with y/n. Since remus is a bit overprotective he keeps interrupting them. You can add things from your fantasy if you like that.

(Y/N) was sitting in her favorite couch in the Gryffindor common room, reading the Advanced potion making book for a test she had the next day.

Sirius was sitting next to her, whining "Just one kissss!" but she just ignored him. When he leaned down to kiss her, she would place a finger on his lips. He would pout, but start kissing her fingers, then her knuckles and then her palm.

"Why do all the Lupins have this ridiculous obsession with chocolate?!" He asked her, as she started munching on yet another bar of her favorite Honeyduke's chocolate.

She just shrugged, stuffing half the bar in her mouth. Sirius looked at her fondly, and smiled. (Y/N) turned to him with raised eyebrows.

"Nothing! You are adorable!" He grinned.

She swallowed the chocolate before speaking.

"Yeah, right!" She scoffed, trying to hide her smile.

"Hey..I'm serious!"

"Of course you are!"

"Don't use my words against me!"

She just stuck out her tongue at him and continued reading her book.

"You have got chocolate there" he said, pointing at the edge of her lips, where a bit of chocolate was smeared. He brought his thumb to her lips, and she honestly thought he was going to use it to clean the chocolate, but he suddenly brought his lips to hers, capturing it in a long, sweet kiss!

(Y/N) Lupin and Sirius Black were together for the past few months and had already shared hundreds of kisses. Yet, each kiss had their hearts pounding in their chests and stomachs doing backflips, making them feel lightheaded. To them, every kiss felt like it was their first kiss!

(Y/N) still remembered the day he confessed, so clearly.

(Y/N) slumped on the couch, sighing and rolled her head on her shoulders.

"Rough day?" Remus asked her, sitting near and she nodded.

He also knew, Sirius would never try that with (Y/N) and even if he did, he'll just get a broken nose[not by Remus, but by (Y/N) herself!]

(Y/N) on the other hand had a crush on Sirius from the time they met. Hell, she even loved him! No one knew of her crush, except her best friend, Lily Evans. But, unfortunately for her, Sirius wasn't into commitments and she wasn't into flings. So, she just tried to forget him, which she hadn't succeeded yet and she doubted if she ever could!

"What if I want you to be?"

"Be what, exactly?"

"My girlfriend, of course!" (Y/N)'s eye widened and she blanched. She looked at Remus to find him in the same condition. They shared a look and burst out laughing.

"Funny, pads!"

"Hilarious, Sirius!"

"What?"

"Sirius Black and commitment do not get along!"

"I am genuinely asking you (Y/N)!" He told, shocking both of them. He then turned to Remus, "Moony! I like her. Like, really really like her! I want to try being in a constant relationship and I want it to be only with her, if she is okay with it and you, of course!"

Remus was too shocked to speak but (Y/N) spoke, gaining both of their attention.

"If someone wants me to go out with them, then its me who they have to ask! Not my brother! You know what? Go date him!" She huffed and turned, but she didn't go. Whatever she had told them, her brother's opinion mattered the most to her.

Remus thought. He knew very well she would date him if she wants to. Nothing stops her when she is determined. And Sirius sounded genuine, and he did care for her, that Remus knew already. So, Why not?!

"You can date her, if she wants. But remember, you hurt her and I'll kill you with my bare hands." Sirius grinned! So did (Y/N) and so did Remus.

She smiled at the memory as they pulled away. "feels a bit strange doesn't it? When Remus doesn't 'accidentally' disturb us? Sirius asked, putting air quotes for the accidentally.

(Y/N) laughed. Until a few days ago, Remus kept purposely interrupting their kisses and cuddles, claiming that, it was an accident, when all the three knew it wasn't. (Y/N) knew he was just worried and checking on her, still, it was annoying!

One day (Y/N) was about to kill her brother [not literally!] for interrupting them once again, but Sirius pulled her to his chest claiming that he had to confess something important to her before she landed herself in Azkaban, for killing her own brother. That was when he told her his first "I love you!", making her say an "I love you more!"

Remus' interruptions had ceased entirely from that day, not that she was complaining.

(Y/N) and Sirius were now cuddling in the couch when Remus walked to them.

"Finalllyyyy! I can have my girlfriend to myself, without the idiot of her brother disturbing us!"

Remus, who knew he was just teasing, whacked him in the head with a rolled up parchment and left to his dormitory bidding them "good night"s.

"It's late. We can go to sleep, too!" (Y/N) told Sirius.

"No! Tomorrow is weekend! I've planned something that is going to keep us awake all night!" He winked, suggestively.

But when (Y/N) raised her eye brows, he leapt out of the couch yelling "Baking in the kitchens!" and ran, (Y/N) hot on his heels.

"What else have you planned?" she asked once they reached the kitchens.

"Cuddling all day, tomorrow!" he exclaimed, like a child with a new toy.

"After all of this, you still want me to believe that you give out bad boy vibes?"

"Well, I am a hot badass, so yeah!"

"You are more of a cutie than a hottie to me!"

"I am not cute! I'm incredibly hot!" He huffed , crossing his arms.

"See! You are adorable!" She pinched his cheeks. He pouted and she pecked him on the lips. This had him grinning immediately.

Ok so this is basically Cinderella, but just expanded upon. This is like one of those fake scenarios i use to fall asleep to and it's grown into its own universe

So the King in this story has gotten into some bad water with the Royals of another country, some bad deals and debts he can't repay (couldn't get his own citizens out of a famine and needed the extra supplies and ofc the rich landlords of the other countries aren't just gonna give that up for naught) so in order to repay the Prince has to marry one of the daughters or, even better, the princess. The Prince doesn't like this idea at all, he doesn't want to marry just yet and even if he would marry, it wouldn't just be with some rich girl or princess he doesn't know. So to ease him into the idea the Grand Ball gets organized. The entire kingdom is invited as well as some aristocracy from the neighboring kingdoms.

Important detail here is that Prince's mother, the Queen, died when the Prince was around 10, so she's not around to give advice. She died while giving birth to the Prince's little brother, who survived. Prince has a close connection with his brother. They also have two younger half siblings, from the King's mistress, who was kicked out of the palace 1 year prior to the Grand Ball.

Cinderella's name isn't Cinderella due to a cruel nickname (i never liked that abt the story) but rather due to the mother having to give birth by the fire place, and a small cinder flying up and landing on the baby. It left a small mark, so mom named her Cinderella. She died shortly after the birth and Dad died when Cindy was about 12. She immediately gets made into a servant by Stepmother, Drizella being the youngest and a mommy's girl treats Cindy poorly while Anastasia actually likes Cindy and only treats her poorly when Stepmother forces her. Anastasia and Cindy are kinda sorta friends. When they learn about the Grand Ball obviously Cindy isn't allowed to go. Magic happens, she gets her dress and is unrecognizable for everyone, and she goes to the ball anyway.

The Prince meets with Cinderella and immediately notices how different she is from everyone else (not in a pick me kinda way just in a i came here for the food kinda way) and they strike up conversation. Cindy doesn't know he's the Prince so she doesn't address him as such, he doesn't mind at all because people are way more fun and bold when they drop decorum around him anyway. It's not really flirty yet, mainly just two people who don't like crowds walking through the gardens. But then a servant calls the Prince "your majesty" and that's when Cindy realizes. They talk some more but BAM midnight and she runs.

For this story I actually used the Three Balls format of the original fairytale, bc it gives the Prince and Cinderella time to bond. By the third ball they've kissed, and that's when Cindy leaves the shoe. But right at the end of the third ball the King gets a heart attack and dies. Prince will now become King. Two weeks pass with the funeral and coronation, and New King former Prince goes on the hunt. He finds Cindy, but they don't get married, because she does Not want to be Queen. Instead King former Prince offers her to stay at the palace to escape her Stepmother, and they gradually fall more and more in love. The main conflict from then on is time pressure for the New King to get married to someone (bc the debts the former king left are still there) and Cindy not wanting to be Queen. Due to Cindy the New King also realizes a lot of changes need to be made in the kingdom, and he does his best to do that.

no matter who he texts, it’s always extremely extra. not only does he always give more information than you asked for – ex. if you text him wya? he will give you a play by play of his entire route or something

 he also uses tons of emoticons. and yes I do mean emoticons, baby boy has a flip phone. ifhe does eventually get a smart phone, then this boy overuses tf out of emojis. he’s the sort of person that sees someone use a combination of emojis he likes and then tries to copy them, but uses it completely incorrectly, but its v cute.

if you send him a meme, he will respond with an unnecessary amount of hahas. 

when he’s texting his lil bae, they’re always on his mind so he ofc texts them every thought that comes to his mind! when he sees something that reminds him of you, he won’t hesitate to share it with you. 

if you have been together for a long time, then we will definitely text you words of affirmation and be very honest/blunt about how he feels about you. he’s also always sure to ask you about your day - and he seriously cares. but i still i feel like with a s/o he would prefer facetime to texting just because he likes to see you :)

my bias might be showing here, but I feel like he is one of the most well-adjusted boys in terms of being ready for a serious relationship tbh (at least post-high school). i mean we all saw that he regularly corresponded with wakana wish that were me lmao

i think he would most often use proper capitalization, but not to the point where he uses a period after every text

would send his friends news articles about his favorite fighting games where u like gaming or not

a meme fiend in general. the sort of person who uses reaction images of people he knows. (if you’re dating, he would still have a stash of funny pics/screenshots of you on ft, but he’d ofc only use them with you <3). his convos with his friends are rarely serious

 i don’t think he’d be the type to text haha out loud, but he does use LOL on occasion. with close friends/his lil bae he might send a voice memo of him laughing hysterically if you send him something REALLY funny. ugh my annoying king <3

i mean it goes without saying that this man is snarky. he’s not a meme king himself but he enjoys when people send them to him and will usually play off the meme to make his own jokes.

i feel like he also likes deep-fried memes or the very abstract, post-modern memes. miyuki is good at making other people laugh, but he has a generally very-off brand humor and the things that make him cackle hardest are either at someone else’s expense (very similar to kuramochi, so they bond a lot over that) or just indiscernible without access to a huge layer of context/background

saves the reaction photos kuramochi sends him, but doesn’t usually use them. but seeing an ugly pic of eijun yelling never fails to make him grin LMAO

i think he also texts A LOT about baseball, even more so than these other baseball dummies. texts his teammates a lot of articles he reads or clips from games/cool plays. this is mostly about texts, but in terms of social media I think miyuki uses twitter/instagram the most especially for baseball related reasons, while kuramochi uses snapchat the most. 

he probably texts a lot about baseball as well, both seriously and playfully

i can see him using hahas and LOLs in equal measure, but he would also utilize the haha reaction if he had an iphone. this boy does value his wit so he would definitely have commentary about any memes or jokes he’s sent

you won’t win a joke war against him, he will definitely one-up whatever you send him with either a one-liner or another joke. how tf does he do it?

definitely ignores people/conversations if he really wants to - but ofc he never does that to his BAE

if miyuki give you a dry one-line response...he’s not interested at all or he’s feeling frustrated about something else. but when he’s really happy? he will text his friends all the time and spam them! i see him as someone who enjoys texting when he has the attention span/state of mind for it. and when he’s texting his s/o his texting gets even more ~flavorful~

he’s another one who sends random things to people when he thinks about them. miyuki of course gets so many texts/thoughts about shogi. if you get a random haiku, poem, or quote from testu, that means you’re blessed enough to be in his inner circle! he definitely thought of you when he read it and and wants you to respond!

with bae: he doesn’t really change up his texting style tbh, but he has a stronger outward reaction to what YOU text in response.

definitely the type to smile almost imperceptibly at his phone as he texts you, even if you send him something like “hey i’m at the store, want anything?”

he’s not great as verbal affection early in the relationship, so you’ll have to discern his love/affection. however baby boy is NOT afraid to just straight up say he loves you, he does it all the time and early.

he’s KNOWN for being reliable and responsible, so he will be at your beck and call when he’s able to for anything you need, but his heart is also warmed by the thought of you reciprocating that care. if your texts show him you’re thinking of him just like he does too. he’s very gentle and sweet, and checks up on you when he’s able to see if you need anything at all.

he might be reliable, but that doesn’t mean that he’s the quickest guy to respond to texts. he’s a busy guy, and he doesn’t think about his phone all the time, but he will always get back to you (bae does not play when it comes to completing things).

𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞 𝐗 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐲! 𝐒/𝐎

When I mean you fall asleep alot, you actually fall asleep alot. You tend to find yourself subconsciously going into slumbers. You could literally almost sleep anywhere whether it be in the middle of having a meal, in the middle of a shower, while reading a book and even in the middle of completely commissions (except for those that require fighting or you will definitely die).

No one is sure whether this is a condition that makes you sleep more often, a weird habit of yours or just simply because you are lazy, not even you know the reason behind this; you just feel tired most of the time. Although there will be days where you would feel more energetic than usual, you will still end up finding yourself falling asleep in the oddest of places.

You are just a cute big ol’ sleepyhead

Although Childe is usually very outgoing and flirty, he is a gentleman and is extremely courteous when handling with your situation. Being with him in a relationship is probably one of the most comforting situations someone can ever be placed in since he is very tolerant and he handled your sleeping situation very well. Even so, you would try your absolute best to stay awake during your dates as you genuinely want to be with him and spend time with him (though you will still somehow fall asleep near the end of the dates).

Honestly it’s an advantage and disadvantage at the same time as sometimes he would be scared that when you accidentally fall asleep, you might just fall and injuried yourself (especially when you fall asleep standing up). Other times he just thinks you are cute.

When he finds you in your accidental naps, he softly gazes at your sleeping figure before removing his scarf to put over your your shoulders then wrapping his arms around you, cuddling up to you, warmly embracing you to protect you from the cold(as long as the location is rather discreet and you fell asleep sitting down or laying down).

If you were found to be dozing off in odd places (like in the middle of a meal in a restaurant, leaning against a pillar in the middle of nowhere or in crowded areas), carefully he put you onto his back and positions your arms to sturdily wrap around him so that you can comfortably sleep on him for the time being as he proceeds to find a more comfortable place for you to sleep in whether it be booking a hotel, going back to yours or his place, finding a bench or vice versa.

Often times when you wake up from your naps, you will find him peacefully sleeping next to you. You couldn’t really blame him as he watched over you from your sleep for such a long time. Since you do not wake to wake him up by moving too much, you would start admiring his features: his fluffy ginger hair, his delicate and long lashes and his gloved slender hands that rested on you.

How did you even manage find such a beautiful man like this? (Why is Childe not real T-T)

Occasionally when he wouldn’t fall asleep before you wake up, you would wake up to a pair of blue eyes softly watching over you. His fingers gently drawing circles on your back before his hands travels to your cheek, caressing it.

“How was the nap, my princess?”

“It was good.”

“Still sleepy?”

“A little bit.”

Chatters were filled throughout the tiny cafe located in the corner of Liyue Harbour. It was a pretty interesting cafe filled with antiques. You were sitting alone in the corner, isolating yourself from everyone else in the room. There wasn’t much going on— just the pretty ordinary stuffs. People chatting, baristas brewing coffee, the waiters and waitresses rapidly walking around here and there taking customers’ orders, serving dishes and cleaning the tables.

Nothing much is going on.

Except he is not here

which was pretty unusual for him to be this late knowing that you would fall asleep rather easily.

It’s been about 20 minutes after the designated time and you were not entirely sure what was going on however you were determined to stay awake until he had reached the rendezvous.

Forcefully chugging down the third shot of espresso, letting its bitterness linger in your mouth, you patiently waited for the young Fatui Harbinger member to arrive. You weren’t really worried about him being late as nothing pretty serious could happen to him as he is one of the strongest person you know and he could protect himself easily so you just assumed that he was just caught up with work.

You were more worried that you might ruin the date by falling asleep.

You both couldn’t really spend much time together to go on dates as he was pretty busy with work most of the time and he couldn’t ditch it either as the Fatui isn’t known for their nice ways. You were rather understanding about his situation so you would just wait until he was unoccupied enough to go on a date with you.

Since this was such a rare opportunity to go out with him, you couldn’t let it go to waste so you insisted on indulging huge amounts of caffeine, hoping that they might prevent you from dozing off.

As much as you wished it helped, it didn’t.

You waited longer.

Longer

and longer.

An overwhelming wave of tiredness washed over you and no matter how many more sips of espresso you took in, it wasn’t going away. Your colouful vision were soon replaced with darkness. Slowly and eventually, you drifted off to sleep.

The bell hanging on the front door chimed as a young man frantically enter the store as if he was worried that someone might get mad. Eyes scanning for a familiar figure, he found you in a corner of the cafe, quietly resting with your head on your arms cushioning your cheeks from the hard wooden surface.

A gentle smile crept on his face as he noticed the stack of coffee cups on the table, knowing that you had tried your best to stay awake.

Walking towards the sleeping figure, his hands ever so softly caressed your cheeks before carrying you on his back, making your hands sturdily wrapped around him before walking out of the cafe.

He found a small inn around the area and rented a room.

While carrying you, he made sure his movements were careful and quiet so that he does not wakes you up.

He placed your delicate sleeping figure on the bed and pull the blanket to cover you up. He then gets inside the blanket and proceeds cuddled up to you, arms protectively clinged around your body.

“Sweets dreams, princess.”

Childe gave you a peck on your forehead before heading off to sleep with you in his arms.

“I cannot express to you how much I’m not going to do this.” You gripe, arms crossed as you glare across the conference room at Steve.

“Ella, please—it’s less than a day. Don’t make this harder than it needs to be.” He scolded.

You scoffed, “I’m actually making it quite easy. Send someone else, Steve. I’m not doing it.” You stand from you seat, with all intents being to walk out the door, when you hear a chuckle.

“Told ya, Pal. That’s a $20, fair and square.” He said.

He being James Buchanan Barnes; also known as Bucky.

Also known as a pain in the fucking ass.

You stop abruptly, spinning on your heel to face them. “What was that, Barnes?” You seethe.

“It’s nothing, Ella.” Steve said to you, before turning a glare to his friend. “Drop it, Buck...” He warned.

Bucky walked over to where Steve was standing, putting both hands on his shoulders as he passed by.

“Oh, come on now, Steve. I told you she’d whine about it—that was less than 40 seconds right? I’ll take my $20.” He joked with his friend.

You stomped toward Bucky. “What the hell are you talking about?”

He laughed again. That smug, sarcastic, arrogant laugh. “Me and my pal over here like to place bets on just how much whining we’ll have to hear from you; I do anyway. This time it was ‘Let’s see how long it takes Ella to start acting like a fucking toddler.’”

Your heart hurt a bit at his words. You expect this kinda shit from him, but Steve? Does he feel that way about you, too?

“Ella he doesn’t—“

Steve tried to speak, but Bucky cut him off. “I mean anytime—anytime you’re paired of with me for a mission, you’re always tryna get out of it. You’re like a kid bargaining to not eat their vegetables.”

He stood in front of you now, towering your small frame. “Being friends isn’t a fucking job requirement. Stop acting like a spoiled brat, do the work and get out. Ain’t that right, Steve?”

You and Bucky—believe it or not, were kinda friends at one point.

He’d been one of the only people to properly welcome you to the team, and for a few weeks you were starting to get to know each other well.

Until you had your first solo mission with him. Bucky hadn’t communicated his location, despite your attempt to find him for more than 20 minutes. You needed to blow the building before the targets escaped.

Unfortunately, you forgot to clear your surroundings and you ended up held hostage by a HYDRA agent. Until Bucky burst through the room like a maniac, saving you and the mission.

Since then, he’d been distant, even cold toward you. When you did see him, the two of you couldn’t get along. Passive aggressive comments, name calling, even down right fighting during training sessions were the norm now with Bucky.

You watched the two men. Steve, who’s head was hung low with embarrassment, and Bucky, who’s smug grin you wanted to wipe against the concrete.

“Fuck this. Fuck you both.” You strained. You wanted to cry, but you wouldn’t. Not yet. Not in front of him.

As you make your way out the door, you hear Bucky call out sarcastically, “What? Was it something I said?”

“Why do you do that to her?” Steve asked him.

Bucky felt the shit-eating grin dissolving from his face. “Do what.” It was a statement, and definitely not a question.

Steve scoffed, “You know damn well what I mean, Buck. She didn’t do anything to provoke that.”

Bucky swallowed hard, avoiding his friends gaze. “She’s a fucking brat, Steve.”

Steve shook his head in disbelief, “Do you hear yourself? Would you wanna work with you?” He asked.

Bucky pushed himself from the table, “Look it’s not my fault she almost got herself killed the first time she was put in the field. So she’s got a complex about it, big whoop.”

Bucky didn’t stay to hear Steve’s lecture. Truth be told, he couldn’t stomach it.

He knows how he treats you is disgusting. The bravado he has to put on around the team makes him sick to his stomach, but it’s necessary.

When he saw your life was in danger that day, he fucking panicked. Why did he panic?

He doesn’t know. But the thought of you getting hurt...or worse, made his skin crawl. Bucky wasn’t use to feeling so attached to someone so quickly, and he hated it.

Your safety was always in the front of his mind. Wondering if you were being followed or watched or tortured or—

Stop it, Buck. Stop it. She isn’t yours to worry about. He scolded himself.

Pushing you away was the easiest part. Making you hate him was second nature, but hurting you? Making you think he hated you?

It fucking sucked.

He walked back to his room. Every intention of showering and sulking until he fell asleep, when he heard your voice through the walls.

He stood a few feet from your door, hearing everything. Stupid super soldier perks.

You were crying.

You were crying because of him.

“Fuck.” Bucky seethed through his teeth.

He doesn’t know how or when it happened, but soon he was knocking on your door.

A moment later, it swung open. You stood there, eyes red and puffy. Cheeks wet with tears, and lips swollen.

Probably from biting them like she does when she’s trying not to cry. He thought to himself.

“Come to abuse me some more?” You ask with a pain in your voice he’s never heard before.

It snatched the wind from his lungs. How long had he been making you feel this way?

“Ella, I’m—“

“Save it. I don’t want your fake apologies. Get this straight, I’m not weak.” You growl.

Bucky wonders if your trying to convince him, or yourself.

“I’ll do this mission with you. I’m not going to let you turn this team against me, but after this? We’re done. I don’t wanna hear from you ever again. I’m going to request a transfer to work at the Tower instead.”

The Tower. Manhattan. 3 hours away.

Not with me. Bucky thought.

He couldn’t speak, couldn’t think. He didn’t want you to go, not like this. Not because of him.

“Nothing to say?” You quipped. “Thought so. Goodbye, James.” You said, and slammed the door in his face.

Bucky stepped forward, leaning his forehead against the door.

How did this get so out of hand? How did it get to the point where you’d be so desperate to be rid of his ridicule that you’d leave your home?

Bucky wasn’t sure, but he was going to fix it.

Whatever it takes.

“Make sure to keep the rebreathers on at all times.” Bruce said, closing the hologram of the building.

You nod, “So what exactly is it that makes it so toxic?”

Bruce laughed, “Toxic is a strong word—potent...that’s more fitting.”

You peering at the case file; Votum Floreant.

“Got it, anything else we should know?” You ask, eager to get the mission over with.

Bruce shook his head at you and Bucky. “Don’t thinks so. Just seal it in the case the moment you get it, and keep those rebreathers on while you’re in the jet with it. I’ll take care of it when you guys get back. It doesn’t affect me the way it would you two.”

Bucky looked confused, “If that’s the case, why the hell are we going?”

He chucked, “Its a stealth op. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but being subtle isn’t exactly my forte.”

You smiled, nudging him.

“I’ll keep coms open.” You say, exiting and heading to the flight deck on the roof.

Bucky hadn’t said two words to you since the briefing.

Good. You think.

But also, out of character.

Maybe he’d finally taken the hint that you were done being treated the way he treats you. Maybe he’d been relieved to hear you were requesting your transfer.

Maybe he really did hate you.

The thought tore at your heart in more ways than one. Before the whole mess of your first mission happened, you thought the both of you were on the same page.

The flirty looks during briefings, the waiting until it was just the two of you to have dinner or walk the grounds. The movie nights where he’d pick ones he knew only the two of you would like.

It must have just been one sided. No one feels the way you feel—felt, about him and just turns it off.

As the jet whirred into flight, you took a seat next to Bucky at the controls.

“Are you going to say anything? Or are we going to mime this whole mission.” You ask without looking at him.

He doesn’t say anything, or even look at you for that matter.

You scoff subtly, “I don’t know why I bother. I guess I’m just a glutton for punishment.”

Kicking up one leg, you keep it crooked up-right next to you, using it as a block between you and Bucky.

You’d finally landed after a painfully quiet 2 hour flight. You were securing your clips to your holster when you felt him behind you.

“I didn’t mean to make you cry.” Bucky said suddenly.

It was almost impossible to look at him without sarcasm. “Really? What exactly did you think was going to happen? A person can only take so much, James.”

You move to walk away, but he grips you shoulder gently, turning you to face him.

“I...I didn’t like seeing you like that.” He practically whispered.

You paused before hitting the button to let the ramp down. You wanted to say something snide, but you didn’t dare give him your energy.

“Let’s go. I wanna get this over with.” You mumble, finally hitting the button.

“Payload secured. Extracting now.” Bucky spoke into the coms.

With your gloves on, and rebreather secured to your face, you open the case Bruce had given you.

“Here, put it in.” You instructed.

This...plant? No. Flower, definitely a flower, was gorgeous. Bright red and purple ombré petals with a speckled green and yellow stem. The green leaves reaching off the stem faded to a black tip. It was stunning.

Bucky reached for the pot, that’s when you noticed the plant changing.

“Whoa, whoa. Did you see that?” You ask him.

The stem looked like it was pulsing. Golden buds began blooming within the petals.

“I don’t like this. I’m calling Bruce.” You said.

You tap your ear piece. “Dr. Banner, we’ve got some strange activity. The plant is...growing? It’s morphing and producing—“

“Get it in that case now!” He shouts, “It’s sensitive you temperature. The closer you get, the more it detects your body heat. If you’re not careful, it’ll pollinate.”

“Els...” Bucky called.

The flower was almost glowing. It’s was hypnotic, drawing you to it...the both of you.

“It’s...it’s beautiful.” You say mindlessly.

“Sergeant Barnes? Do you copy?” You hear Bruce say through the coms.

He doesn’t respond and neither do you.

“It smells like you. Like...summer rain, and strawberry shortcake.” Bucky says, walking closer to the flower.

The buds are growing. They look as though they’re about to burst.

He shakes his head, breaking the trance. “Shit.” Bucky grumbles putting the pot in the case, and slamming it shut.

You’re both breathing heavily. When did you get this close to each other? You’re close enough to see the beads of sweat on Bucky’s hairline.

“S-Sorry.” You whisper, looking down.

He tilts you chin up to look at him, “Don’t be.” He whispers in reply.

The realization of your closeness to him set in again, cause you to jump back suddenly.

“I’m gonna go...watch the controls.” You mumble.

When you sit in the seat, you finally feel it. Your elevated heart rate, the slick in your skin, and the undeniable ache between your thighs.

“What the hell?” You mutter to yourself.

“I’m glad you made it home in one piece.” Dr. Banner says as you approach the door to the compound.

Behind you, Bucky wheeled the cart with the case on top of it.

“It was definitely something. What does that thing do exactly? The packet on it was pretty vague.” You ask.

Bruce hesitated, “It’s just...it’s a...it’s hard to explain.”

You quickly whip off your rebreather, enjoying the fresh air. “Try me.”

“Look out!” Bucky shouts from behind you.

In a flash you see Bruce’s face go into pure panic. No one was quick enough. The case tumbles to the ground, smashing open and exposing the plant.

Both you and Bucky rush for it. In an instants the plant glows again, pulsing quicker then before.

“Ella, no!” Bruce shouts.

You hadn’t noticed, but Bucky’s mask was off too. Neither of you looked at anything but the flower. “It’s beautiful.” You said mindlessly.

Suddenly there was a burst from the middle of it. Golden flecks of pollen floated through the air like glitter.

“Whoa.” Bucky said breathlessly.

Looking to him, he was bathed in an ethereal haze. A visible aura and smell drawing you to him, you couldn’t have looked away if you tried.

And you didn’t care.

Bucky’s eyes suddenly locked with yours, and you knew he felt it too.

You moved towards each other, before you felt yourself getting yanked back.

“Tony, get him into quarantine now!” Bruce shouted as he tugged you with him.

“No! Stop it! Bucky!” You shouted. A conscious part of your mind was being dulled; why did you need to be near Bucky so badly?

“Stark, I’m warning you! Ella! Ella!” Bucky shouted as he was picked up by Tony, wearing his Iron Man suit for safety.

You were pulled in separate directions, and brought into the compound.

2 hours. 37 minutes. 46 seconds.

That’s how long it’d been since you’d seen Bucky.

You were currently on you bed, aching with a cold sweat. Your body was screaming at you, telling you to get out and go find him.

“What’s happening to me...” you groan into the space above you.

Between your thighs was throbbing, the heat emerging from your core was unrelenting. Your nipples were so hard, they felt like they could cut glass, and a glisten of lust on your skin couldn’t be ignored anymore.

Your own fingers did nothing to alleviate the ache. Attempting to pleasure yourself was in vain, because it wasn’t just any touch you needed. You felt like you would die—surely, you would die without his touch.

You needed Bucky, and you needed him now.

Stood from your bed, and practically running to the door, you relish in the friction it caused between your legs.

Pulling and twisting the knob in every direction does nothing. Of course it doesn’t...of course they’d locked you in here.

“FRIDAY?” You practically begged.

“Yes, Miss Monroe?” The AI replied instantly.

You cleared your throat, and pressed your sweat stained forehead agains the cool wood. “Please open my door.”

“I’ve been instructed not to let you out unless it was an emergency.”

“It is,” You say quickly. “it’s an emergency.”
