Trying to help these Palestinian Families!
There are two verified Palestinian GFMs in my linktree, and I want to help them meet their fundraiser goals.
To do this I hope to donate my art and time to raise the money.
How this will work is you donate directly to one of the GFMs in my linktree, and then send me a screenshot of your donation receipt as proof (via tumblr ask or email) and I will draw the fandom character(s) prompt you request based off the donation amounts in the graphic below.
Both GFMs are verified by Operation Olive Branch.
First GFM is organized by Tasnim Alhamss (on line #663 of OOB's spreadsheet), who is still trying to evacuate her sister's 3 children as well as her brother's 3 daughters. They're just a little over $2K from their goal. They're so close!
Second GFM is organized by Layal Qudaih (on line #844 of OOB's spreadsheet), who is trying to evacuate newlyweds Hala and Abd Al Aziz, as well as Hala's elderly mother, Amal. Hala was 7 months pregnant when the GFM was created in February. It is now August. That means there is now a baby, just a few months old, who needs evacuating too. They have only achieved 67% of their goal as of writing this post.
Below is the graphic detailing the type of drawing I'll complete in exchange for the amount donated.
Tumblr media
I encourage other artists to take this idea and run with it for their own adopted families. Operation Olive Branch has a whole spreadsheet of family fundraisers you can sponsor if you are able!
Hopefully together we can help more families meet their goals and get to safety!
I've included a list of fandoms and shows I'm most familiar with under the cut, but feel free to ask about others!
Again, this is not an exhaustive list, but I did try to put them in alphabetical order to make them easier to look through.
Avatar the Last Airbender

Hi, I want to start off by asking how you are doing, and that I loved the monster task force 141 × reader fic and the cyber-punk sagau headcanon’s.
Ok, now into the ask. Can you do a smut fic with Childe where the reader is a sub top and Childe is a dom bottom where Childe whorships cyber-punk readers body running his hands all over readers joints which are bonded so reader can’t touch him while overstimulating and orgasm denying (is reader able to be overstimulated and have orgasm's... if not then forget about those 2 kinks.
Sorry for the long ask.
Kink list to make it clear:
- Body whorship
- Bondage
- Overstimulation?
- Orgasm denial?
Heck yeah my peep, I'm doing better, and it's great that you liked my other stuff, sorry it took this long, med school is a bitch. Hope ya like it:DD
P.S: ya'll are always free to ask me/give me ideas of what to write, i'm gonna be trying to write more from now on.
Pious Worship
CW: NSFW, body worship, bondage, overstimulation, orgasm denial, mild electro play?, SAGAU au! Cyberpunk reader!, Sub Top reader, Dom Bottom Childe, riding, Dom/Sub dynamics, Worshipper Childe, Bondage. NOT proof read lol.
Tumblr media
It had taken you a long while to convince him to do this. For all of his devotion he had been... hesitant; To please you was the highest form of reward anyone could dream of receiving, but what you had asked of him felt wrong — the thought of binding you like the heathens who'd fallen for pretty lies made him physically sick, the thought of chaining you, his guide, his light, his Steel Forged God...he couldn't even come up with the proper words to describe the sickening disgust he'd felt in his very bones.
But you are his light, his guide, his merciful creator, so how could he possibly refuse?
Childe is insatiable.
He rides you with wild abandon like a beast in heat, too caught up in the desperate chase for release and the need to please you to care about the strain in his muscles or his burning thighs. He slams his entire body weight down on your cock, moaning and babbling about how perfectly you stretch him out, how you fill him up so perfectly he can feel you in his throat, how happy he is to be the one who pleases you like this.
His heart flutters as you watch him, drawing pleasure from his pleasure rather than from how tightly his body grips you, your arms tied above your head with the finest silk. The corp remade you for warfare, not pleasure. Steel is unfeeling, it can survive more than living flesh, and with your enhancements you barely feel anything besides the hot tightness of his body.
He drinks up the little rumbles of your synthetic voice box he manages to pull when he takes you fully, driving his body to bounce faster on you, racing towards his second release while you are nowhere near your first. He moans whorishly, his fingers dig into your shoulder joints, cock twitching as sperm and electro shoot from his body.
A strangled sound leaves your lips before your body shuts down without notice, voice box giving a mechanical screech as it glitches, every artificial muscle in your frame contracting from the sudden flood of electricity.
"My Grace! Are you- no, no, no, no- please don't be-”
You hear his worried whimpers when your audio receptors finally come back online, your optics shuttering open yet barely able to see anything with the sea of blinking warning screens in your view. You feel his calloused hands on your cheeks, the usually dull sensation now making you shudder as your combatting systems had turned every synthetic sensor up to 11.
“My Grace, please tell me you’re okay, please, I couldn’t have- I didn’t mean to- I-, I-, I-”
He hiccups, and you manage a glitched warble from your frazzled voice box as you assess your internal diagnostics— his electro delusion had shocked you enough to lock your joints in place without damaging the vital life support systems in your core. You should be able to move again when the electricity wears off, your body geared to survive stronger EMP bombs. You tell him such, reaffirming that he hadn't harmed you.
"Oh, my Grace, I am so sorry, please, forgive me!"
He says, tears prickling his eyes as he rises off your cock, pulling a surprised gasp from you when that small sensation nearly makes you cum on the spot, your cock — your whole body — sensitive to the smallest touch.
And Childe gets...giddy.
Not like a child with a new toy, but like Dottore when an experiment is successful.
Childe hung on every sound leaving you, eyes growing wide; Had you thought of this? Had you prepared just for this to happen? For his electro to make it easier to feel, to make it easier for him to worship you? Yes, that must be it!
“My Grace, you are beautiful like this. Thank you, thank you, thank you-”
His voice was a hoarse whisper as he slunk down your body, carefully holding up your leg with steady calloused hands. His lips are dry as he places reverent kisses the metal surrounding your exposed ankle joint. Your metal parts taste no different than the tips of his arrows, like blood and war, but the soft sounds you make from the odd sensation has him wanting to give more.
He doesn't even notice when he cuts his lip on a sharp edge, but aren't you proud of him? Who else would bleed for you like him? His tongue delves into tight little cracks between your pistons and wires where only the smallest of ripperdock tools had ever come. His tongue isn't as small, nor as precise, but the sheer eagerness in his movement has him touching and pressing on the sensitive sensors all the same.
You jolt, or you would if you could, overcome with sensations your body isn't built to process. More warning screens flash in your sight, static pleasure/pain buzzing along faux synapses. His heart all but leaps from his chest as he listens to the sounds you make.
So he redoubles his effort, clever little tongue licking at sensitive sensor arrays, mouthing and sucking on cables until soft frazzled sounds leave your glitched voice box. He can taste coolant on his tongue, his lips tingling with electricity, blood and spit mixing together in his mouth and making your metal parts glisten in the light. He polishes your ankle joint until it shines, before moving up towards your knee, tracing the edge where metal plates meet faux skin.
You're internal cooling system has started at this point, body shaking as best it can. Your sensors don't know how to interpret the sensations, corp augs having been geared for warfare and not worship, so the processors don't even try to categorize the new sensations into neat boxes. Instead you're hit with the full force of it, the feelings flooding your mind, zapping through every neural cell and artificial link.
He's at your hips now, eagerly sucking you off as his clever fingers busy themselves worming and rubbing delicate hardware and artificial ligaments beneath inside your hip joints. You feel like you're on the edge, your release so close you can feel it burning at the base of your cock.
But something is wrong, like a knot or a rock inside your stomach, something that's keeping you from cumming, forcing you to experience these overwhelming sensations. You sob, barely able to think, and his heart soars at making you feel this way, making you feel this pleasure.
He's quick to finish polishing your cock and even quicker to climb up and sink down again. But that only makes the maddening heat burning in your loins worse, every nerve in your augmented body feeling like it's on fire with no sight of release. You can barely see him through the cracks between different warning screens, sensor arrays screaming at you with information your body can't interpret any other way than pure sensation.
"Please, let me do this your Grace."
You watch — you can do nothing but watch — as he takes one of your limp arms. His muscles bulge beneath his skin as he has to work hard to move your arm now that your motors and pistons are momentarily inactive. He smiles at you, mouth opening wide before he puts your fingers in his mouth. Little jolts of sensation run through your body every time his tongue flicks between different joints, teeth scraping along faux skin and metal plates.
He continues to bounce on your cock, unaware of what blissful Hell he's making for you when he pulls your spit shined fingers from his mouth, urgently but carefully pawing at the plates which cover your hidden weaponry in your forearms.
"Your Grace, I'm a fool to demand this of you, but please, let me see them, let me worship you like you're supposed to be worshiped."
He says, eyes wide and pleading, laying desperate kisses at your wrist joint, lips almost burning from how hot your metal parts are becoming. He needs to worship you, all of you, especially the part you usually keep reserved for the battle field and nowhere else.
Your voice box is back online to the point where you can talk, and you know that if you told him, he would happily continue bouncing on your dick until you were finally able to cum, with all notions of his own need forgotten.
But you don't.
For as much as your systems may be screaming at you. For as much as your cooling systems struggle to keep you from overheating. For as much as you desire to cum... you want to please him — the first character you ever wished for, the first you ever mained, your favorite.
The look on his face when you manage to get your weaponry unlocked melts your heart despite the lustful heat in your chest. Your combat systems are blissfully unaware of your true intentions as they power on the pistons and gears in your weapons, making them extend to their proper configuration.
"Thank you, thank you your Grace!"
He breathes, immediately reaching out to trace the sharp points of your weapons with his tongue before he latches on the first joint that connects your weapon with your arm. It makes sensation, neither pain nor pleasure but pure feeling, rush from your arms right down to your dick still balls deep inside him.
Your vocal box glitches a second time, your head moving just an inch as you're subjected to his torturous worship again, and you can only pray that your body is able to move again before you loose your mind to the pure sensations.

Ok another AU: basically the deal between Stolitz but make it Seramilla
Overlord Carmilla finds out that Angelic Weapons can be remade with the proper conditions and starts collecting the ones that the Exorcists leave behind. No one in Heaven knows that Heaven-made Weapons release a Holy Energy that acts like radiation to demon kind. If left out long enough the Holy energy purifies its surroundings, killing anything "unholy" within its radius and leaving the metal unable to perma-kill sinners.
Sera finds out about the new Demon Overlord that's been collecting the weapons and sets up a private meeting with them, fearing that they'll try to use the Weapons against Heaven. She doesn't tell Lucifer exactly why she needs to talk to this Sinner but Lucifer agrees all the same. When they meet, Sera is gay panicking hard and can't get her thoughts in order. Carmilla on the other hand, knows EXACTLY why she was called here and, fearing for the safety of her girls and people, she offers to do anything for Sera.
Sera short-circuits, but thankfully recovers quickly and in a haze, offers to allow Carmilla to keep and continue collecting the Exorcist Weapons only if Carmilla agrees to sleep with her. Carmilla is shocked and a bit indignant at first, but after thinking it over decides that her body and dignity is a small price to pay for her family's safety and prosperity. So, once a month, Sera will open a portal to Carmilla's place (wherever she feels is secure) and Carmilla will go to Heaven for their "agreement". And hey, who knows? maybe if Carmilla does a "good job" Sera might even give her new heavenly ores to plays with. Sera can't leave as it would alert both the Elders and Lucifer that an angel has left Heaven and entered Hell.
And just like that, with Sera still not completely there or thinking clearly and Carmilla accepting her fate, the deal between Seraphim and Overlord is signed.
Sera would feel guilty for basically forcing Carmilla into this deal later, but Carmilla is just so good at this Sera can't bring herself to end it.
I changed it up a bit. Sorry, not sorry. Brazen Carmilla just grabbed me by the throat and wouldn't let me go until I wrote it this way.
When Sera discovers that one of Hell's most powerful overlords has been capitalizing on all the angelic weapons left behind after the Exterminations, Sera hadn't been expecting her to be so...beautiful.
Carmilla Carmine is nothing like she expected -- she'd thought someone gruff, warrior-like, and intimidating would show up to her office. This woman before her is calm, confident, and resonates a certain lackadaisical attitude about everything. Sera is almost offended that she seems more interested in all the books lining the shelves in her office, instead of the Seraphim sitting at the desk right in front of her.
"Ms. Carmine," Sera says, clearing her throat, trying to draw Carmilla's attention back to her. "This is a serious matter. Will you please pay attention?"
Carmilla continues to walk the line of bookshelves with her hands behind her back, standing perfectly upright with impeccable posture, before she eventually turns back to Sera, to give the angel the attention she so desperately craves.
"I don't really think we have much to discuss on the matter. You've given me no good reason to halt my machinations. This is my livelihood now. It's just business. Certainly you can understand that."
Sera sighs heavily, exaggeratedly so. This woman may have the demeanor of a mafia boss and the presence of a model on a runway, but she is also no slouch, and has not given Sera an inch ever since she agreed to an audience with her.
The Sinner is not even grateful that she'd invited her here, to her office in Heaven, and treated her to a day away from that literal Hellscape she calls home. Not even the promise of a day pass had been enough to get her to see reason.
"Certainly, Carmilla, you can see my point of view," Sera tries again. "I can't exactly have a Sinner confiscating weapons that have the power to pose a threat to my people. How do you think that makes me look in the eyes of the elders?"
"I fail to see how that's my problem."
Sera huffs out loud, unable to hide her frustration behind her mask of indifference any longer. This Sinner is getting under her skin like no one else has before. And if the way Carmilla is looking at her is any indication, with that shit-eating grin and casual way she just saunters over to Sera's desk and sits on the edge of it...she's quite enjoying herself, too.
Carmilla seems to sense Sera's unease. Looking the angel up and down, a mischievous smile spreads across her face. She slides across the desk, in an almost sultry, seductive fashion. She dangles her feet off the edge, right next to Sera, and swings them back and forth. Sera is a tall woman. Her desk is huge. Even Carmilla's feet can't touch the floor while sitting on it.
"You seem a little...tense," Carmilla says. Without warning, her hand slides slowly across the smooth, expensive wood beneath her, until three of her fingers just barely graze against Sera's. Sera gasps at the touch.
Then one of Carmilla's legs shifts to place itself invasively between her knees, spreading Sera's legs slightly. Sera's heart, or whatever she has that beats inside her chest, is now pumping a mile a minute. She gulps again. Carmilla leans in closer.
"How about I...help you out there?"
Sera's face immediately brightens several shades of gold. Faster than she thinks she's ever moved in her life, she leaps out of her chair and backs herself away from her desk...right into one of her bookshelves. Why does she have so many books??? Who needs this many books??? She keeps repeating this in her head, as her back hits the shelf of tomes, and she's trapped, and Carmilla quickly advances to close her body in against hers.
Sera holds out her hands in front of her, as if that will in any way protect her from the likes of Carmilla Carmine.
Sera starts rambling. She doesn't quite know what else to do, under the circumstances.
"You know, this is getting quite a bit...is it hot? I'm starting to feel it getting very hot--"
Sera gets cut off, as Carmilla Carmine practically slams her large clawed hand into the shelf next to her, causing a few books to fall and scatter all around them.
Sera almost scolds her, but she doesn't get a chance, because Carmilla takes the taller woman's arms within her grasp, turning her around, and not-so-gently pushing her back toward the desk, until Sera plops backward into her chair in a heap.
Sera is breathing hard at this point. From her chair, she has to look up at Carmilla standing over her, with the most delicious, predatory look adorning her features. Sera swallows, and tries to speak, and swallows again when she can't form the right words. The words that actually manage to come out are shaky, confused, and uncertain.
"What is--what are you doing to me?" Sera asks. In lieu of an answer, Carmilla stands directly in front of Sera. The overlord bends down, hands propped on the arms of the chair, until she's eye level with the Seraphim. She's looking at Sera's lips, not her eyes...like she wants to lean in and kiss the angel. Or eat her. Probably both.
"What do you want me to do to you?" Carmilla asks, with absolutely zero restraint or decorum in her question. It's like she doesn't even care she's talking to a Seraphim this way.
Somehow, Sera finds herself unable to care about that, either.
"I...uh...well..." Sera starts. The words are still escaping her. If she's honest, she's never been in this particular...position before. With anyone. Even the thought of someone coming on to her normally makes her want to vomit. But somehow, with this woman...everything she thought she knew about herself is subsequently flying out the window.
That's okay, though. Carmilla seems perfectly capable of speaking for the both of them.
"How about we...find a solution that works for both of us?" Carmilla suggests; she's so close now, that Sera can practically feel the heat of her breath on the sensitive skin of her face.
"What--what do you mean?" Sera asks. The grin on Carmilla's face only gets wider.
"I'll stop collecting angelic weapons left behind during the Exterminations," Carmilla suggests. "Instead, you start supplying them to me directly. Out of your own stores. Fresh ones. New ones. I can still protect and provide for my family. You get the elders out of your hair...they think you've done your job, that Hell is no longer a threat...and in return, I give you..."
Without warning, Carmilla finally does make contact with Sera's face, crushing their mouths together in a passionate, all-consuming kiss, one that makes Sera lose all sense of self and substance for several glorious seconds. It's Sera's first kiss, but obviously not Carmilla's. It's an out-of-body experience. The woman does so many delicious, mind-bending things with her tongue in Sera's mouth, that Sera can't help but whimper, when Carmilla inevitably pulls away.
"...That."
"That?" Sera repeats, confused about what has just transpired. "I get...you kissing me in return?"
"Or whatever else you would like. As a crafter of weapons, I'm rather proficient with my hands...as well as my mouth. But that last part has nothing to do with making weapons."
The insinuation is palpable. Carmilla rubs one large, clawed hand against Sera's cheek, with so much tenderness and gentle care, Sera almost forgets what those claws could do to her face, if she were to let her guard down.
Sera melts. The next words exiting her lips are completely out of character, against her will, and against all common sense. This woman must have her under some kind of spell. There's literally no other explanation for why she says what she does.
"Once a month," Sera starts, and when Carmilla looks at her confused, Sera extrapolates, "We get new shipments from the forge master once a month. I do this for you...you come here once a month to collect. And then we...umm, you can show me..."
Sera lets her thought linger in the air, but Carmilla understands. The overlord smiles. She nods. As if Sera needs any other reason to completely fall apart at the seams, Carmilla then has the absolute gall to sit directly in Sera's lap, and kiss her again. This time, with her arms wound tightly around Sera's neck, pushing her even further into her chair, until it starts to bow backward under their weight.
Carmilla swirls her tongue around in Sera's mouth again, and runs her fingers through Sera's long, voluptuous locks, for good measure. To give the disheveled Seraphim a preview of what to expect in the coming months. When she pulls away again, Sera's hair is a mess, and so is her face, with Carmilla's lipstick all over her cheeks and mouth. Sera's giving a sheepish, love-struck grin, and Carmilla can't help but smile back at her.
"Is it a deal, then?" Carmilla holds out her hand. Sera hesitates, knowing the implications of a deal with an overlord from Hell can be fraught with complications.
She weighs the risks in her mind, and comes to the conclusion that for her, it is worth it. Timidly, she takes Carmilla's hand and intertwines the demon's large claws with her delicate, human-like fingers. Even with Carmilla's strength and capabilities...nothing the demon could do to her would cause her permanent damage. Right? At the end of the day, the risk to her is relatively low. She's willing to cage that bet, if it means she can see Carmilla again.
So she shakes Carmilla's hand, accepting her fate, and Carmilla leaves with the promise of her return at the next full moon. Sera is left sitting in her chair, wondering and contemplating, who exactly is this woman she's entangled herself with, and what exactly she has gotten herself into now?

Genuinely curious as to if you asked permission to use Rachel’s characters and she said yes or if you just decided Lore Olympus is popular enough to make a fan comic of and are hoping you don’t receive a cease and desist? Can anyone create a remake comic of original content and just change what you don’t like about it and it’s considered legal if you say the characters belong to the original creator? There is plenty of disappointing media out there that could be remade. I understand you cannot use their characters for profit so is just posting it ok?
Yes, anyone can, because it's called fanfiction lmao Obviously in my case the term "fan" is being used loosely here as at this point it's more like "foe"fiction LMAO but the same principles apply. Unless I try to claim LO is my own creation or make a profit off Rekindled, I should be in the clear. If legal action was taken against me then it would set a precedent against all forms of fanfiction, rewrite, redraw, etc. content around LO which are all essentially doing the same thing Rekindled is doing. I think people tend to view Rekindled as somewhat of an "exception" that's vulnerable to legal action because it's an actual weekly comic put into practice in the same playing field as LO (though they're on massively different bases obviously LOL), but there's not much more separating it from the LO redraw accounts or even the genuine fan accounts that have learned how to draw in Rachel's style (and use it to make their own LO self-inserts and whatnot). I had the time and resources and experience to do what I do through Rekindled, but every redraw, rewrite, fanfiction, etc. account are making the exact same statement I am, whether intentionally or not - "I do/don't like the canon, but/so here's what I think it would be like if it went like this".
There is definitely plenty of media out there that could be remade, and a lot of them are by the fanfiction writers out there who are filling that niche within their respective fandoms. LO is the one I want to do because it's the one that interests me and compels me the most to rewrite.
Not to mention, it's already a bold statement in and of itself to say that I'm "using Rachel's characters", a statement that likely wouldn't hold up in court LMAO Her "characters" are literally just stylized self-insert versions of public domain figures. She did not write The Hymn to Demeter. She did not create Hades, or Persephone, or Hecate, or any of the other characters she writes about. She does not own an entire religion or its deities. The only thing that she really "owns" is the licensing rights to the name "Lore Olympus", and while the style of LO is very unique and identifiable, you can't trademark/copyright a style because that uproots the entire foundation of what art is (ironically no one has had an original idea SINCE the Greeks, we all just learn and adapt our styles based on other artists that we get inspired by and learn from).
Shit, there are series completely unrelated to LO that get harassed or otherwise warned that they could cross into "legal territory" with LO just because they're Greek myth comics. Punderworld, Theia Mania, H x P Ficlets, all of these are comics that also tackle the H x P myth, and while they aren't attempting to do the same thing as Rekindled (as they exist on their own terms) it's really disappointing when I see people talk about these comics purely through the scope of Lore Olympus as if LO invented Greek myth. If WT/Rachel tried to pull rank over the story's "characters", they'd be picking a fight with every other Greek myth comic, book, movie, etc. and they oughta know that's not a fight they're gonna win lol
So everything beyond LO's branding is, in and of itself, fanfiction. Rekindled is just another level deeper by being fanfiction of a fanfiction. As long as I'm not profiting off Lore Olympus' namesake or distributing my work with the misconception that I created LO, it's legally fine. Morally, I'm sure it doesn't exactly make me a saint to do it, it definitely took a lot of hubris for me to say "yeah I don't like how you wrote your story enough that I felt the need to rewrite it completely" and I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking doing so is icky. There are certain lines I won't cross - I don't use the general LO hashtags because my content is very critical and my work isn't really for the fans, I don't encourage anyone to "show Rachel" what I do here because none of what I do here is obligated to be seen by her (and I know it wouldn't be in her best interest to see it anyways, she's literally said that she doesn't like criticism so why tf would I wanna show her a comic that exists to criticize her work lol), and I'm not planning on posting it to Webtoons because that's Rachel's territory. I don't want to overstep both in the legal sense and in the moral one. I think it's more than enough for me to just post my stuff here for the people who are seeking it, and not profit off it or directly affiliate it with LO/Rachel beyond crediting.
All that said, in a moral and legal sense, what I'm doing is literally the basis of fanfiction, and I wouldn't be going to such lengths and spending this much time every week putting out episodes every week if I never cared about LO and how it made us all feel, even if some of us don't love it as much as we used to.

Your au seems so intresting so far but gotta ask and sorry if this is spoilers for the story...just excited to see more and so curious:
Why would Celestia release such a devastating plague? Did the pony population get too big and she needed to kill some off in order to prevent overpopulation? If that guess is right, I'm curious if this will turn into a situation where Celestia is like "yes...yes the plan is working perfectly....ok maybe a little too perfectly...oh dear me, ok maybe I made this plague a little TOO strong because at this rate, ponies are going to go extinct...what have I done!?!?!"
Or was it originally intended to kill off an enemy of equestria buuuut it accidently reached ponies instead of the enemies and Celestia doesn't want to admit it was her because she knows it news that she caused a devastating virus and had planned to basically do virus warfare, the ponies would be VERY upset?
Or...those are just some guesses on my end on why Celestia would make such a horrifying virus and decide to release it. (Hopefully she was smart enough to make a cure so in the middle of the pandemic, she could pretend to be a savior and cure the ponies...if not or if the virus had evolved into a new strain that the cure doesn't work on due to the amount of hosts it had gone through, equestia is screwed.)
Also...two questions I wonder if Celestia thought about if she infected the ponies on purpose and not some accident happening when trying to attack an enemy...who is she suppose to rule if she had noone to rule over? How does she rule an empty kingdom? Bet she didn't think that tiny tibit through.
Still sorry for so many questions and stuff, just so invested in the story and curious about it and can't wait to see what happens!
Lol, no worries! I do actually have a rough draft of an evil monologue Celestia goes on about why she does this.
It is still a rough draft though, so I might change some details later, but here it is for now! I think this should answer all your questions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's a transcript for accessibility:
[transcript]
This whole thing is Celestias evil monologue:
"Do you know how many times I've remade the world, Twilight? Of course not. Because this world is the only one you've ever known."
"I've done this so many times. At first, it was merely out of necessity. The first few worlds were destroyed by sheer accident and freak chance. Diseases, natural disasters, that sort of thing. And then it was War."
"I must've snapped at some point, maybe I lost hope? It's been so long that I've forgotten."
"The wars and conflicts got to me. I began destroying and remaking the world in order to get a fresh start, clear my head, make it perfect 'next time'"
"This world has probably been my best one yet. I even thought it could be the last one I'd ever need to make."
"But... Lunas rebellion a thousand years ago was the first worrying sign."
"I almost destroyed everything then and there, but then I thought... 'well, what world wouldn't benefic from a little interesting history?' so I held off."
Then, you came along, and it felt like my wish for conflict resulution could finally be solved... for the first few disasters."
"but then, conflicts just Kept Popping Up."
"You would solve one, and then an entirely new, unrelated, issue would present itself!"
"As if you were not a cure, but a magnet!"
"I can't let this go on. I am sick and tired of something always coming along to ruin my world."
"But I am also sick and tired of destroying the world like I usually do."
"So I decided on something different this time around... I thought releasing somethingslow and agonising onto the populace, something that'd make them destroy the world on their own, would be entertaining to watch... And you know what?"
"It has been the most fun I've had in AEONS."
[End of transcript]
Tldr: Celestias actually some sort of perfectionist God that's been destroying and recreating the world whenever something doesn't go exactly as she planned, and this time she decided to have fun with the destruction.
Ah, and as for why Luna, Discord, Cadence, and all them aren't mentioned is (for now, this is still a rough draft, this could change in the future) the fact they aren't actually gods, Celestia created them, too. And gave them the pretence that they had power.

On my Charm family makeover
I know not many people follow me, but I'd still like to address something that's been gnawing at my chest.
Last night, I posted a makeover of the Charm household, which I was initially very proud of. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone when it comes to creating and remaking sims and I felt like this one in particular was ok after the Vatores.
However, when I logged in this morning, I had a comment from a user asking why they were so white. I also saw other users agreeing with this statement and commenting on how they were unrecognizable. This saddened me, obviously. Mostly because I didn't touch their skin color (the gshade preset I use and tweaked has a blue tint to it and I realize now that the bloom shader may have brightened things up a little), but also because I try to keep changes to premades' facial structures as subtle as I can make them so they can still be recognizable. With the exception of Gemma (who I almost completely remade to try to make her look more like the teen she is), the most I did was adjust jawlines, lips and eyes, because lord knows I can't do much more than that without completely messing up. My makeovers mostly consist of a bunch of skin details and makeup put together on a sim and that's what makes most of the difference. Though no one is obligated to like my stuff and that's totally fine! Each person has a different style they're into. What really hurt was the fact that people think I white-washed these sims when it definitely wasn't my intention to make it appear so.
Regardless, I am deeply sorry if my take on the Charms offended any of you in any way. I meant no harm and had no intention of making them look paler than they originally are. However, I'll be taking your feedback into account and do better next time. Please, if anyone has any POC-friendly preset suggestions, link them to me so I can try them out in makeovers like this one.
To clear things up on these sims looking paler than their default versions, under the cut is a picture of them with no gshade preset, and another one with the gshade preset I used:

Making an Island for my new au...
I have 15 zones that need naming, and I've only named 2 so far. Hard!
The au itself is kind of... ok so I was watching this video rating all of 200+ Mlpfim episodes (still in the process), and I thought it would have been cool if we had a Sonic cartoon that was mostly slice of life, and only had the gang facing Eggman or some other major threat in the finale or premiere of a season.
So I decided to make an au! (It kinda lost the mlp vibe in the process though. But it's still supposed to be somewhat cutesy because the main characters are "the cute ones" in the cast)
I made a new Island for no reason other than so I could change it in whatever way I want.
So Amy, Tails and Cream would be the main characters there and they would all live on that island. Amy lives in a big city in the middle of it, Cream and her mom live in a small village and Tails has a lab etched into a cliffside in a secluded area.
The other major characters that live on the same island are the Chaotix. They live in the other major city on that island (it only has 2), but this city is a port city.
Everyone else is where they usually are in canon.
I also put a lot of more obscure characters from adaptations on that Island (none from any comics, but there is a Sally Acorn. She isn't based on Princess Sally, or Fleetway Sally, but on yet another versionof her). There's Sticks. There's Boom!Knuckles that I remade into a separate character. The Witchcarters will be there. I'll probably makensome ocs (but we'll get there when we'll get there)
But that's just the Island, it doesn't mean that the characters who don't live there will not he important to the au. (I just wanted to have a clear base setting that I can mold however I want)
I have some "episode" ideas, but I still need to jot them down.

a scattered meta analysis with this meme remade for a single purpose, because this is the energy of the pepe silva meme in verbal form
ok so this came to me not even in a dream although i could say it came to me in a dream, but it's just my constant galaxy brain activating and making things make sense in my lore, i'm doing the lords work when miyazaki started and didnt finish.
per my Fun Laputian Facts: the purebloods are made of the earth. they can mimic humans in shape but they're nothing like humans on the inside, they are an entirely different species. they were made by greater gods from the heart of the planet and saw themselves as the guardians of the planet and thus believed they had the authority to just deliver divine punishment upon things. they turn back into mud when they die. they have almost no weaknesses except for the thing that bassboosts their power, and the condition of the planet as a whole. they have a weird hivemind while also maintaining individuality. they can fly by weird magic. they put their souls in crystals outside their bodies. they can cast super megadeath magic ray. muska may or may not have built most of the robots, some for gardening and some for firing super megadeath magic ray. the robots have an organic nervous system (thats canon like my god its sorta fridge horror when they die and fall apart)
facts about the god warriors that are literally canon in the nausicaa manga: they are also bipedal and sorta human in shape but also definitely not and are an entirely different species. they were made by other beings as gods and saw themselves as arbitrators and judges of the earth. they turn into mud when they die. they have like no weaknesses except their own power which rots their bodies. they have a weird hivemind but also maintain the ability to manifest individual personalities. they can fly by weird magic (warping reality). there's a control stone involved. they can cast super megadeath magic ray. it's super fridge horror when they die and fall apart
now, 99% of those things are just common things shared between the two species. the problem then is "but knight the laputian purebloods except muska died out 700 years ago when the world got fucked by being ravaged by constant wars bc the crusades sucked ass" yes that is very true, but also the laputians put their souls in magic rocks and their physical bodies returned to the earth.
looping back to "laputians are gods made by other beings (other gods)" the same principle applies to the god warriors, except i guess they were made by humans to be gods, but clearly thats super fucked up and they turned out really wrong. so consider,
humans can't properly use aetherium, that's made clear in the dialogue in castle in the sky, where only the laputians had been able to fully harness the power of aetherium. so here come some humans who decide lmao gotta yeet all things and say they are able to find "control stones" (read: dormant aetherium crystals with laputian souls) and they decide to make some gods with that.
if muska, a laputian, can't revive the laputians, what makes humans think they can do it right? clearly, they ... they didn't. it's super wrong, because what they got was giant ass bioweapons that decided to cast turbodeath upon everything for 7 days straight nonstop, before they died because the godlike power rotted their bodies.
and speaking of godlike power that corrodes the body, muska wasn't born blind! he went blind because his godlike power destroyed his physical health, even tho he could fight 50 grown men and win, he's far from peak health by his species standards. he's suffered "stunted physical growth" man's 6'4 what was this species even. muska didn't die of his power because he's linked to the main crystal core as all the rulers of laputa have been (i can have a little ffxv as a treat! "king of the stone/king of kings")
now, what's even MORE fucked up and will get its own post is how the heedra could also be attempts at fucked up laputians because they also have control stones and are immortal unless you destroy their cores and their bodies also fall apart and turn into mud if you kill them hM!!!!

So I finally got around to finishing Pocky and Rocky Reshrined last night. (Finishing the Story Mode, at least.) What I had to do was unlock Easy Mode for Babies, which doesn't really change the difficulty but gives you infinite lives, so what you wind up doing - if you're me and your reflexes have slowed considerably - is essentially brute-forcing through the game.
So how does the new game compare with the old one I loved so much as a kid?
Well...hm. Overall I still like the new one, and don't regret paying for it. The graphics got a nice glow up, so it looks great. The controls felt a little sluggish - firing projectiles was ok, but moving and sliding around not so much. Or again, could just be me. They remixed the music, and it sounds fine. Doesn't really stand out though. Which is a little bit of a shame, as the music that played during the original Battle With Black Mantle is still one of my favorite background tunes, and I was pleased to hear it again in this version, but...eh, I dunno. The new version kind of lost the punch the original had, somehow.
The story in the original Pocky and Rocky was pretty straightforward. Black Mantle and and company were messing with Rocky's friends, Pocky and Rocky go straighten things out. In Reshrined, they put a few twists in.
There was a hint of that in the trailer, when the first boss of the original got defeated, then suddenly got blasted with Touhou lightning and got its bullet hell on for Round 2. But it wasn't really clear if they were simply retelling the old story in a new way, or if the new game was meant to be a sequel to the old. I think it's the latter - kind of. The old game canonically happened, but because of (spoiler reasons), it also didn't.
Hard to clarify without spoiling it, but...the first twists were interesting. But then it got a little too convoluted, and even ridiculous at points. The new characters were neat, but I also feel like we didn't really get to know them very well. Not that I was looking for super deep lore or anything, but...I dunno. There's one character in particular that you only play as in one level, then they show up again at the very end of the game, and that's it. We never see them again, and it feels a little like wasted potential.
Sure, I've unlocked Free Mode now, which means I can play through the game again as this character if I want to. But I don't know if that'll unlock any more of their story. Might be worth a try just to see.
So, maybe the reboot didn't knock my socks off and stay with me like the original did. But you know what? It's still pretty good, even if I can't react as quickly as I did when I was a kid, and I'm honest to God happy that enough people loved the original game for this remake to happen in the first place. If you'd asked me a few years ago what old games would get remade in the 2020's, Pocky and Rocky would never even have crossed my mind. It wasn't nearly as big as, say, Mario or Sonic or Megaman or Metroid or Final Fantasy or Legend of Zelda or... hell, a LOT of series. So yeah, it was a nice surprise.
I still haven't put together the piece on Pocky and Rocky 2, hoping to get to it sometime during the holidays when I have some time.

ouhhh ok I may have remade Scrabble's bio again. let's a go!
• Scrabble •
• Autobot, claw machine mutated by the Allspark in 2007.
• 6'4 feet tall.
• 432 lbs of weight.
• greatly attached to her plushie collection - notable plushies are Mr. Muffins the blue dino, Squeak the bunny and Lisp the snake.
• Doesn't have any weapons, not counting her claw hand.
• 2007 •
• As mentioned, she was created by the Allspark in Mission City when the cube fell down and sent an electric wave towards a nearby arcade. Scrabble ran out soon after and hid away from the humans, getting enough time to calm down.
• Found by Bumblebee a while after the first movie, when the Autobots were hunting down agressive Allspark mutations. She approached him and turned into her claw machine mode, telling him to pick a toy she could fish out. Confused, Bee chose the blue dino, and he watched as Scrabble failed to get the toy out. He moved her to N.E.S.T. after that, since she appeared to not be malicious.
• ROTF •
• Despite mainly staying friends with Bee, Scrabble also got attached to Arcee, who she began to see as a mother figure. The only people she genuinely didn't like were Skids and Mudflap, who oftentimes took away her plushies to bully her.
• In N.E.S.T, due to her young age, she didn't take part in any missions, instead watching DVDs or playing with her toys.
• She felt alienated both from the Autobots and the humans - the Autobots because she was not from Cybertron and most Autobots didn't really seem to understand her childish antics, the humans because, well, even if they'd like her more, she was still a robot that could hurt them.
• During her time in the N.E.S.T base positioned near Mission City, Scrabble snuck out, eager to find where she came from. Using the information she already knew, she eventually found a familiar arcade, one she could swear she came from. She wanted to sneak into the building, just to see how it looked inside, but a human quickly noticed her, understandably freaking out. Despite Scrabble's attempts to tell them that she won't hurt them, many other present humans noticed her, leaving the arcade in a panic.
• Several N.E.S.T. soldiers eventually arrived at the location, taking Scrabble back to the safety of the nearest base. None of the Autobots had the time to lecture her on how much of a mistake her sneaking out was, but she knew she screwed up.
• When she finally met with the Autobots, Bumblebee had terrible news for her. Arcee didn't return from the battle in Egypt.
• DOTM •
• Two years later, and Scrabble remained the way she used to be. While she lost Arcee, she was glad to have everyone else, especially Bee.
• She was in the base in Chicago to see Sentinel be ressurected, but she didn't exactly get involved in the story until the base came under attack much later.
• When informed that the Autobots will have to leave Earth, she made it pretty clear that she did not want to go. She cried and yelled when she was being carried to the spaceship - sure, Earth wasn't the planet she was supposed to be from, but this was still her home. Once they were inside the ship, Bumblebee quietly told her that they aren't actually leaving the planet, putting an end to Scrabble's sadness.
• While the Autobots were about to head back to Chicago, Scrabble was left hiding outside of the city in a remote area near an empty forest. She knew this was a serious matter, so she quietly hid in a bunch of thick bushes she found.
• She was picked up from the area by Bumblebee many hours later and brought back to the N.E.S.T. base. She saw that several of her friends were gone, but for what it was worth, she was happy that this was all over.

Halloween 2023 - Day 5 - Freddy vs Jason (2003)
Tumblr media
Voices in the air I hear 'em loud and clear Telling me to listen...
OK, so I know I've been slacking this year so far but it's Friday the 13th and I sure as hell wasn't going to miss this. I've been building up to it since last year after all and, whilst I might not have documented it on here, I capped off the original run of Friday the 13th movies with Jason X back in January. Having the done the same with New Nightmare last year, all that's left (aside from the reboots) is this, the ultimate showdown…Freddy vs Jason. Given that I wasn't into horror back when this came out, it wasn't really on my radar so I don't recall any of the build up around it or how much anticipation there was from the general public but I can't imagine anything other than this being one of the biggest events of the year. It's Freddy vs Jason, man! You don't even need a trailer at that point, that name will sell you on the movie more than any sneak peek at moments from the film ever could. It harkens back to those school yard debates about who would win in a fight or the golden age of 'versus' movies in horror like Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man or the House of… films.
Tumblr media
Right out of the gate we find out that Freddy has been banished to Hell but is unable to come back to wreak havoc upon the next generation of Elm Street kids because he's been forgotten. No one even knows who Freddy is anymore and if's not remembered, there's no fear. No fear, no powers. But luckily there's someone else down there that he thinks he can use…Jason Vorhees. Jason can never truly die and is just buried somewhere, suddenly given fresh impetus to rise up when he sees visions of his Mother demanding his go take care of those naughty kids down on Elm St. Sadly, the role of Mrs Vorhees is not reprised by Betsy Palmer but Paula Shaw does a good job as this angry, Freddy-inspired version as she berates Jason. Given the name of the movie, we all know this alliance isn't going to last forever but I really love this idea. It brings this whole extra layer of danger to proceedings, this dual threat of being targeted in your sleep as well as when you're awake. Plus it gives a plausible reason to allow Freddy a route back into the dreams of his victims and it adds this extra edge to him. He's not just this violent killer, he's manipulating Jason for his own nefarious needs. It helps play in to this odd sense of sympathy the movie seems to be trying to elicit for Jason. He's being used here, there's a flashback to his mistreatment by the other kids and councilors back at Crystal Lake and he's often taking a beating during the later fight scenes with Freddy. Kinda weird to think of Jason as the good guy in any situation but when the guy is a half melted nonce with Wolverine claws, Jason is the lesser of two evils.
Tumblr media
We soon meet said Elm St kids and amongst them, for some reason, is Kelly Rowland. I guess I never had her pegged as an actress. It's funny because I've been looking at a Japanese movie called Kairo recently which was then remade in America as Pulse which starred Christina Milian. Again, AM to PM is a banger but I didn't realise she did acting too so I guess having that on my mind made this Kelly Rowland appearance catch me even more off guard. She's fine here though, the role is just standard slasher movie fare as the friend of the final girl who doesn't quite make it through the whole show so there's not much you can do with that. Her character does refer to Freddy as a 'faggot' at one point which is a bit…of it's time to put it politely.
Tumblr media
It doesn't take long with Jason to show up and start bumping everyone off, including one gruesome kill where he stabs a guy half to death whilst in bed, then folding him up in said bed like a sandwich. This first kill takes place at the old Thompson house so when the cops show up and see where it happened, as well as the violent nature of the murder, murmurs soon start about it being 'him', murmurs that are very quickly shot down. The local Sherriff isn't keen on people talking about he who shall not be named (not Voldermort) and with the kids being asked all sorts of strange questions about their dreams rather than who might have just massacred their friend, it does lend the whole thing a bit of a conspiracy vibe, like the parents are covering something up. Kinda brings full circle because the original had that as well.
Tumblr media
Conspiratorial would be accurate given that one of the kids dad is killed and I did a double take thinking it was Alex Jones.
Tumblr media
There's these other characters as well who are in a psychiatric ward who keep making references to 'dream demons' and being kept away from their families so there's a lot of moving parts in play here but it really adds to the whole atmosphere and I like the angle they're going for, it was something I really wanted in Freddy's Dead.
Tumblr media
It's easy to tell this is an Elm Street sequel because only hours after the death of two of their friends, the kids are quietly ushered off to school where they're gawked out by their classmates. Aren't their regulations in place for this kind of stuff? Give the kids some time off at least, maybe a passing grade. You know, that 'passing by catastrophe' kinda thing, Dead Man's Curve? Maybe given all the killings they had to abolish it because they were having to pass everyone given how prolific Freddy was.
Tumblr media
But it's not just subtleties and world building here, this movie can deal out some action when it wants to. Such as when Jason's 'fun police' alarm goes off and he breaks up the kids party out in the cornfields. Someone tries to fight back by setting him on fire, which only seems to make him stronger especially when he starts wielding a flaming machete. The power of the Charcoal Pine Resin strikes again!
Tumblr media
Or a vicious scene where one of the kids is haunted by visions of his brothers suicide, the brother played by non other than Scut Farkus himself, Zack Ward. Scut Farkus staring out at us with his red wrists! So help me God, red wrists!
Tumblr media
And when this movie promised Freddy vs Jason, it duly delivers. Multiple times in fact. You get the best of both worlds, with one fight taking place in the dream world after Freddy possesses one of the kids and uses tranquilisers to put Jason to sleep. Then, in the finale, Freddy is draw into the real world. It allows both of them to play to their respective strengths; Freddy with his powers and use of misdirection in the dream world and Jason being able to use his strength and invulnerability in the real world where Freddy is weaker.
Tumblr media
It's a cool touch that Jason ends up being reverted to his child form in the dream world fight, obviously ties in to Freddy being a child murderer but also brings back that origin story of Jason as well. The actual ending, whilst it doesn't sour the overall movie in the slightest, I'm not overly happy with. I get that it's ambiguous and doesn't necessarily undo what came before it, plus are these characters ever really dead? But I think with the hindsight of this being the last big send off for both characters, it was nice to have this Double-KO as a way to write them out and send their franchises off into the sunset before their reboots several years later. The original ending was apparently disliked by those at initial test screenings. It featured one of the characters suddenly turning violent and wielding the Freddy glove as a final sting which doesn't seem out of place with the franchise. After all, right back in part 1 we had the false finish of everyone thinking they'd beat Freddy only for him to re-emerge. And whilst we're talking about endings, this apparently had all manner of different possible endings including a giant hand pulling both villains back down to hell to play out a Sissapyhian battle for all eternity to the amusement of onlooking devils and demons. Or one where they both run into Ash from Evil Dead, supposedly shot down because Sam Raimi insisted on Ash winning. Or, Freddy and Jason waging bloody war on one another, only to be suddenly pulled apart by hooked chains before Pinhead emerged from the shadows.
Tumblr media
Maybe some people could argue that not having a definitive winner is a bad thing, I think it would have been cool if they'd done something where Jason wins in certain showings and Freddy wins in others. Probably wouldn't have worked even back then due to the growing prevalence of the internet, whilst not as widespread and immediate as today since it was before social media and the like, news would have travelled fast and it wouldn't have been able to get that sort of urban legend feel. How cool would that have been though, you're talking to your friends about the movie and you're like "Man, I can't believe Freddy won." and they're like "What are you talking about, Jason killed that motherfucker!". Think of the repeat ticket sales! As it is, I really loved this one. Certainly the best Jason movie out there, even if the likes of Part VII and Jason X had their charms (we'll get back to them one day). Certainly up there with the best Elm Street movies too. I just really dug the city wide cover up going on to try and suppress Freddy, really fleshed out the story and allowed it to be more than just padding whilst we waited for the main event showdown.

Final Fantasy I review
I recently finished Final Fantasy I. I've been playing the pixel remaster version so keep that in mind for anything I say gameplay and graphics wise! (Also, I'll probably play the other 5 and review them as well, I'm currently playing FFII). Story:
This game is really old. The original is from 1987 and the story is quite simple and to the point. You're the group of legendary heroes tasked with restoring the crystals' power and defeating the big bad. Even so, it's charming and talking with all the NPCs did give more info about the lore, which was nice. It also felt like the most basic form of a type of story that later rpgs followed. Yes, adding complexity to it, but still the same basic formula, which is interesting to see.
Characters:
The main characters are completely blank, they don't speak and they're whatever you want them to be. So nothing interesting there at all. The NPCs did show some of their personality with the limitations of the time, but still nothing remarkable. This is definitely the weakest part of the game, using the categories I have.
Aesthetic:
The pixel art is detailed and pretty. The pixel did have care for all the remade arts and maps and it shows. Maybe I am a bit biased in favour of them though, since I really like pixel art. But I think it's complex enough that it looks pretty, even if it's not the best it could be.
Gameplay:
It's really easy to play, easy controls, clear battles and explanations. The NPCs also give you good enough information for you to find where to go next without much problem. I only got stuck 1-2 times and it was just because I didn't remember where an NPC was, but otherwise I had no problems. Also, the map function helps A LOT and makes navigating the game much easier and less frustrating. The bad part about it, the battles. At first they're fun and challenging, but soon they turn monotonous and pointless. I did play with auto battle half of the time, since they posed no threat at all at those times. At least it had the auto button which made it more bearable, but it was still tiresome. Most of the times, the only battles worth paying attention to were the bosses and mini-bosses, which were quite ok.
----
Overall, I'm talking about it from a modern point of view, but I want to mention again how it's a really old game. I think back in the day, it was probably a mind-blowing amazing game, from the innovation and having a cohesive plot and all. But if you play it today, it's interesting, specially if you like rpgs, but it's not something everyone will enjoy.
Still, if you like rpgs, in particular Final Fantasy, I think you'll have fun trying it out and seeing what changed and what's still the same~ It took me only 10 and a half hours to finish, so not much of a commitment either!

"We can't marry!" "Why?" Mafia!Taeyong x Reader
Summary: In an arranged marriage with one of the biggest Mafia families around, you are less than thrilled to be in it. Surely you can figure out how to get out of it.
Tumblr media
Your hair stood on end, your heart bumping loudly in your ears as you stayed as quiet as you could. You held the bag against your chest tightly, peaking around the corner. Looks clear. You checked once more behind you and ran to the next pillar. You were almost to the garage, then you could jump the wall and hide in the forest.
You checked once more and hid behind one of the cars that sat outside. You were glad most of the family was out doing whatever these guys do. It was much easier to sneak around.
For the final time, you looked around. You ran up to the wall, throwing your bag over. Jumping up, you grabbed the top of it and pulled yourself up. You heard talking and laid your body flat on the top, adjusting the hood to cover your face completely.
"They'll still be able to see you." The sudden voice scared you right out of your skin, nearly falling off.
"Don't give up now, I want to see how far you'll get." The man lit his cigarette, allowing you to see his face clear from the light.
You sighed in defeat, your head falling down on top of your hands. "I thought you left."
"For a smoke, yeah. Not for the mission." He chuckled, "You think I don't trust them to handle anything without me?"
"It sounded like it." You mumbled.
He walked over just as you were discovered by the voices you heard earlier. Taeyong put his hand up, "Don't worry guys, it's just us having a chat." And he sent them away. He stood in front of you with his arms open for you to jump to him.
"Piss off." You jumped down away from him.
"Forgetting something?" He motioned to the bag on the other side.
"It's just some clothes, I'll get them in the morning." You crossed your arms.
He laughed, putting out his cigarette and jumping over the wall, easily. He threw the bag back over and jumped back himself. "You're welcome."
"Piss. Off." You emphasized, snatching the bag and trekking back to your room. You couldn't help the glare you gave to some passing members. You slammed the door shut, unable to lock it. Throwing the bag into a corner, you got undressed back into pajamas.
As if your now sour mood couldn't get worse, Taeyong was waiting for you on the bed. You rolled your eyes at him and brushed your hair, putting it up for the night.
"I'm guessing we should talk." He started but you cut him off before he could say more.
"I think you should leave." You smiled sarcastically.
"We're getting married and there's nothing you can do about it." He shrugged.
"I will not live an unhappy life with you." You eventually sat on the other side of the bed, getting under the covers. "Now leave I want to sleep."
"Why would it be unhappy? Why can't you marry me?" He leaned back, looking at you.
You sat up and looked straight at him. "It'll be more miserable for you."
Taeyong couldn't help a slight smile, "Why?"
"Well, I'm a big shopper. I need lots of money to spend on pointless things." You said smugly.
"That's not an issue, you can have all the money you want to spend." He dismissed.
You hmphed, "I hate cooking, so I won't cook you anything."
"Ok, I'll do the cooking." He nodded.
You paused, "Well I hate being around your brothers and they make me highly uncomfortable, I want my own space and room." You looked away proud, feeling like this wasn't a condition he'd meet.
He paused for a while before nodding, "Alright, I'll have the house in the back of the property remade for you, nobody will be allowed back there. Is that all?"
"No!" You struggled to find another excuse, "That's too lonely! I want some companionship. I want dogs or a horse or something to keep me company." You pouted, hoping he didn't notice the awkward delivery in these demands.
But Taeyong once again was ready to comply, "Fine, by tomorrow tell me what dogs or horse or whatever you want, I'll have someone pick them up. Happy?"
You continued to shake your head. Though you'd be lying if you didn't feel a little swayed by how patience he continued to be despite your attempts of throwing a fit. "Your hair makes you look scary red. I don't like looking at it. You should do something cuter. Like pink."
"That's an easy one, I can do pink hair if that's what you want." He stood up. "All of your demands will be made soon, so I hope you can come to not hate this marriage." He walked around to your side and leaned over, it looked like he was going to give you a kiss on the head, but he just turned the lamp off and left, closing the door.
You stared at the roof in disbelief, silently screaming. You rolled onto your side and into a ball.
"I hate that guy. His stupid face, stupid suit, stupid house, stupid family, stupid life." You cursed under your breath. "Even if he can hide behind this fake kindness, I still want to go home."
You sit up and punch the pillow in frustration. You keep glancing at the clock and give up on sleep, you get up and since it's the dead of night you expect nobody to be up. You quietly head downstairs, leaning against the wall as you approach the living room, where it sounds like the eldest members are talking.
"She's rude and unreasonable, why don't we take her back? Tell her parents the deals off." Johnny suggested.
Taeil agreed, "All of these demands, there's no reason to keep her."
"What's the point of being married if you have to have her under constant supervision? You need a wife to help you not a wild dog causing trouble-" That member didn't get to finish before you heard broken glass.
"She is my fiancé, and she will not be talked about like that in front of me." Taeyong's voice lowered. "I've heard all your complaints and I will still ignore them. She is not troublesome, she's scared thinking we kidnapped her. We owe her the chance to adjust. I know she'll fit in just fine in the future."
You leaned against the wall as you listened. Deal? What deal with your parents? You were told your parents were looking for you, it's why you were so desperate to escape, for them. But they sent you here? On purpose?
"Taeyong," Kun started, with a disappointed tone, "You are kind and thoughtful of Y/N and I praise your loyalty, but we need to think long term. All she's proven so far is that she is hotheaded and rebellious, she will only add to our stress and make more trouble."
"Enough," He leaned into his hand and sighed, "Leave me be for a moment."
"Yes sir." They said in sync, you quickly hid under the stairs as they passed by.
Once they are gone and you hear them settle into their rooms, you emerge. You stand in the doorway for a while, just observing. Eventually you work up the courage to walk over and sit in the chair beside him. He glances at you through his fingers before sitting up straight.
"Did we wake you?" He asked softly.
You shook your head, "I have something to ask you."
"Go ahead," He sighed, grabbing the mug in front of him.
"Why? Why are you so determined to marry me?" You ask.
The moment between you was different that all your other interactions. It was calm, and quiet. The fireplace allowed a soft warm glow, you both spoke softly. For once, it didn't feel like you were cornered and stressed, you felt like you were mutuals.
"I think if some parents are willing to give their child away so easily for some flimsy promise of protection, they don't deserve you. You are full of potential, I thought you'd be better off here. I was willing to put up with your attitude because I knew it must have been stressful adapting here." He explained, looking ahead and taking a sip from the drink.
You lowered your head, your hair covering your face. You didn't know what to think, you were so hurt by your parents. You felt alone and betrayed, but yet Taeyong's presence didn't let you spiral.
You reached out and held his hand with both of yours, "Thank you. I'm sorry for being so ungrateful and difficult. You were looking out for me and stood up for me. I didn't know. I will be better, I promise."
"I don't mind, take your time. I can wait." He smiled.
"Y'know, I guess I don't mind you and your home." You smiled back.

bea you are so kind to me So kind. ok buckle in babes!
ranking d20 seasons by how compelled i feel to do a full scale rewrite picking apart and rearranging the bones
DISCLAIMER: this list is not in order of how much i like or dislike the seasons. i also recognize that in an improv format, especially comedy-focused, people make decisions that aren’t character or theme driven. none of the cast are Wrong for any of the choices i’m going to critique here. that’s just the name of the game. HOWEVER:
1. a starstruck odyssey
ah the reason i’m making this list. aso has SO MUCH POTENTIAL LIKE THERES SO MUCH GOOD STUFF IN THERE!!!!! i just think it failed to resolve its arcs satisfyingly. @cloudmancy and @grasslandgirl (EDIT: and @lichfucker ) have made GREAT posts on norman takamori which i encourage everyone to read and burn into their brains. but also like. the stuff with barry nyne drives me insane i hated that so much </3. why did prillbus choose him. how did the king of brain slugs get in a zoo exhibit. in the wise words of sav:
Tumblr media
AND THE ARC PLAYED SO WELL WITH SID! which, by the way, the warfare whitneys getting remade falls into the same thing of like oh ok. sid dealing with being a keeper of souls didn’t actually matter bc she’s not anymore.
there’s just this aspect of. the random factor was stressed so often and it was so cool and delightful whenever things happened to align and like. the way that it turned out oh norman and skip and barry and marge are all connected to this world ending plot in the end! just felt so against that theme bc it was very clear and obvious where the metahand of narrative was coming in. like it would have been way more engaging and impactful if the wurst really had just randomly stumbled onto saving the galaxy ESPECIALLY bc thats their whole thing! no chosen ones no saviors we are a bunch of idiot mercenaries here by accident!
also loose duke should not have been on the ship they rly beat that one to death early lol
2. misfits and magic
i love mismag with all my heart and soul but that does not mean she is safe from me !!!!! people have beaten to death the centralization of evan in the narrative so i don’t think i have to talk about that but i also think k’s arc could have been a lot smoother. i love the feral princess i think it’s like k taking this thing that’s always been pushed onto them that’s pushed onto them again (aggressive femininity, girlhood) and making it their own but i wish they’d had the time and the space to lean more into that whole thing of like. Taking magic and forming it into what I WANT it to be. Nature AND nurture AND intention bc thats the whole. that’s the season’s whole self determination thing. anyways more jammer more sam!!! would have loved to see more of jammer’s team building i want him to give everyone nicknames i want to see him struggle with his world becoming so much bigger and more complex. and seeing more of sam’s leadership and the way she goes from internet influencer to like irl influence like the scene w her teaching the kids how to mukbang was so good i want more of that. ALSO poly pilot program real
3. a crown of candy
every day i think about the world where we got those four lost episodes. i don’t think it would fix everything but like acoc NEEDS more time towards the end, you can tell something is missing. honestly it’s so perfectly done for the first half and then it just kind of… falls off a tiny bit? there are moments towards the end that are fantastic but i really don’t like how it resolved. i feel like everyone and their mother has talked about liam’s wish and how rough that was (my personal favorite replacement for that choice is for a peppermint tree to grow over the spot where keradin and the pontifex are buried as a representation of the strengthening of magic in candia which might be august’s idea?) but also idk i just feel like cumulous didn’t hit as hard for me. and saccharina is the love of my life literally one of my fave characters ever but her cinnamon arc felt really rushed (which, yes, missing episodes). i just feel like after jet’s death the pacing and themes get so muddy (yes missing episodes yes i know). anyways brennan wishes he had what prince consort calroy doc and sweet religion doc have
4. mice and murder
mice and murder is SOOOO CLOSEEEE but it trips over the finish line. honestly some of it was the dice being fickle but like. there were choices. anyways i said it best when it was airing:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also i wish vicar ian had more to do. he had some killer moments but he didn’t feel as connected as the rest of the group did yknow
5. pirates of leviathan, fantasy high seasons 1 and 2, the seven aka The Spyre Spot
this is the spot in the list where i run out of specific rewrite energy but they’re not quite in the Perfect tier. honestly pirol is so good SO slept on i literally just wish it had better video quality which is no ones fault. also i wish it were longer so they had more time to get their footing! and fantasy high is classic and very good but there are still some things i would change (fabian in the nightmare forest for one! i hate how he isn’t taken seriously, acknowledgement that penelope and dayne blade were also children groomed by an ancient dragon, i think kristen’s arcs are a little clumsily done, etc). the seven is also delightful and hilarious and its themes are done beautifully but i did not think the combat was done well lol. i think brennan got some bad asks and wasn’t hard enough on saying no, and while again there were some really good moments i think it dragged more than combat normally does but that’s #justmysillyopinion
6. the unsleeping city, escape from the bloodkeep
the perfect seasons. i would not change a single thing, they achieve everything they set out to do and they do it beautifully. and hilariously!
7. shriek week, tiny heist
i liked these seasons but i don’t think there’s enough there to really dig in yknow? like i enjoyed my time but i don’t feel compelled to rewatch
8. tuc2 my beloathed
i’m sorry i just don’t care for tuc2 i pretend she doesn’t exist 💔
@catoptrific and @theamazinggrayson also asked about this!!

I wrote the whole post and TUMBLR DECIDED TO DELETE THE WHOLE THING
anyways it’s finally here
take
STUFF I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT MYSTREET SEASON 4:
• ok but the animations here are great. actually tho they're so fluid and clear. Credits to whoever made them!!
• and now let’s do the real thing
• ok so first off this is where the actual plot starts. I know that some people were getting bored of the monotony of the slice of life episodes so they liked it. Again there’s nothing inherently wrong with having it but you have to remember that these characters most likely weren’t written to be in a plot and I say this because their personalities are funny and lighthearted. Their clearly meant for comedy. This also makes them redundant for plot since most of them a few characters barely have any development which is probably why like half the cast was dropped. im not sure how far back jess had planned the plot but needless to say most of the characters wouldn‘t be able to fit there. Travis, Katelyn, KC and the sk’s just dipped for the whole season and even when kc, Travis and Katelyn do show up in s5 their personalities really took a beating
• WHERE DID LAURANCE AND DANTE GO?? We never see them after s3. its probably because their personalities were too funny for plot but laurance was a shadow knight in mcd and since the whole of mys is so hyped up on the whole ‘mcd and mys are connected’ thing by all means he should’ve been there too
• it makes sense that since the lodge is jointly owned by the Ro’meaves and the Lycans, Garroth, Zane and Aaron- and by extension, Aphmau- would come along. it make sense that they would ask Lucinda for help- she’s a skilled witch and has been their friend since high school. theyre literally neighbors. it makes NO SENSE to being Kim- a girl whom they’ve barely ever interacted with and whom they barely know- to a place meant for close family to go to. Ok from a plot perspective yes Kim needed to be there but Aphmau logically doesnt know that yet.
• how does ghost/emmalyn even exist?? We’ve seen emmalyn and kenmur in s1 and they’re ok. not dead or anything. Yes I know that this is mcd emmalyn and she is directly referencing mcd Zane when she says that’s the only name she remembers from when she was alive but that raises two questions- first, how can both mcd and mys versions of her exist at the same time?? and second, what exactly happened between her and mcd zane?? It sounds like she either hates him way more than she loves kenmur (or she’d remember him too) that it’s the only name she remembers or its Stockholm Syndrome.
• I feel that since the plot demanded a ghost vessel thing that was the only reason Aphmau brought Kim. it’s pretty clear that Dante and laurance wouldn’t fit the role because of their personalities so she just remade an older character and changed her completely right down to her skin to fit the plot. her whole personality changes with it- look at her I mean she even becomes more open when she talks. Again this only happened because none of the existing characters could fill that role because IT WASNT MEANT TO HAVE PLOT
• no one likes you michi girl take the hint
• seeing liochant brings back meMoriEs
• what was that potion that lucinda made and which Garroth threw on Zane?? its clear that it cured him from the effects of the forever potion but the bigger question is WHY DONT THEY USE THIS IN S6?? Ok yes in s4 Aphmau gets freed by the power of love(TM) but that doesn’t mean you do that for everyone
• as someone who liked Laurance’s character I miss him :(
• ok there’s WAY TOO MANY PROBLEMS with Ein and his villain shtick. Ein is basically some obsessive werewolf yandere boy who has an unhealthy obsession with aphmau and hates Aaron. and the cherry on top is that Aphmau is his HALF SISTER. THATS INC*ST. That’s GROSS. What is it with Aphmau antagonists and not having a clear motive or backstory?? mcd Zane and Ein both suffer from this and it shows. there were definitely better motives to give him- he doesn’t have to be centered around Aphmau all the time!! And even if you don’t want to go to all the trouble of rewriting the plot you could at least make it so that Ein knows that he and Aphmau are related. Maybe he wants a perfect sister instead and he’s willing to go to any lengths to get her there. it would still be dark and serious but it would be SO MUCH BETTER than the current plotline. Also showing the contrast between his pdh and s4 self and then not giving any semblance of an explanation really makes it difficult to imagine where it all went wrong. yes Michael definitely had something to do with it but to what extent?? How much is Ein actually in control of?? Is he under the influence of a forever potion when he turns Zane, Lucinda and Aphmau to his side?? Is he still under its influence when he fights Aaron?? look I get that they can’t reveal everything but leaving out THIS MUCH and not even revealing it in s6 makes it very difficult to accurately nail Ein’s character.
• how is Aaron even revived?? is that Irene?? how is she here and what is she doing here?? Can we have answers pls. also it makes no sense that she saves Aaron TWICE- once in s4 and second in s6. How does death even work here if Irene can just swoop in and bring them back to life. i feel like none of the villains ever count as threats then because you know that a cryptic mysterious goddess who somehow looks just like your girlfriend will revive you.
• how did Aaron even survive?? No seriously how?? We know that there’s no service or wifi up there at the lodge so using their phones is out of the question. i don’t think Lucinda would be able to conjure up a whole medical team for Aaron. and they're on a MOUNTAIN. It takes precious time to get down from it. for context, even if they sent Garroth (since he’s the fastest) down to get help they’d have to wait for him to reach the village area at the base of the mountain, get a phone, call for help, wait for said help to arrive and get Aaron to a hospital. meanwhile Aaron is bleeding out from multiple gashes on his chest made at like point black range that are critical at best and fatal at worst. (his only saving grace is the snow he’s on which would help to numb the wound because its cold but he has like FIVE deep chest wounds and the snow isn’t even on his wounds.) Ya sorry I don’t see how he manages to survive.
• did I mention that I miss Laurance?? • Why is Aaron not at a hospital I don’t even see a ventilator or oxygen mask near him. Listen I’m not a medical expert but those gashes landed straight on his chest which means straight on his lungs and dangerously close to his heart. how is he alive. how is he not choking on blood right now. we know he’s bleeding out- I’m pretty sure one of the doctors even says “Mrs Lycan, we need to draw more blood for your son.” yes he’s bleeding out why is no one trying to idk stop the wound through pressure with a cloth or something?? (Note: it’s been a while since I’ve watched s4, so if I do get anything wrong thats why!!) also why are the werewolf doctors so chill about Aaron’s ultima eyes? like yes they’re doctors they could’ve been sworn to secrecy or maybe they work for the Lycans but Derek is shown to be really paranoid about anyone finding out about Aaron being the ultima. how does he know they won’t tell it to someone else??
k imma head out now-
thanks for reading!! <3 <3
