So with Demisexual and demiromantic, is gender still a factor in some cases?

like say, a Demisexual person forms a strong bond with a man, but no matter how much of a bond they have with said man, they just aren’t attracted to them? Or?

Eddie Munson

Sexuality: Omniromantic, Grayasexual. He would like the term omniro because omni people typically have a large, defined preference. I think his preference would be man/masculine aligned people. He would shorthand and say gay/mlm if he wasn't in a place where he felt like having a long conversation about sexuality. I could also see him as polyamorous, though he would like a smaller polycule.

Gender Identity: Masculine Aligned, Non-Binary

Pronouns: He/Him, He/They, They/Them

Billy Hargrove

Sexuality: Queer. He would explain himself as Gay/Bi/Pan and I don't feel like he would be attached to any particular label. He really likes being in mlm relationships and polycules. Definitely polyamorous.

It took him a while to figure it out and come to terms with it, but Billy was definitely his gay awakening. He's very thankful for that. He would totally be cool with a poly relationship, it would just take him time to adjust to the idea if he had never considered it before.

“I’m Ash. Ash Crane. I am currently living with my beautiful soon-to-be-wife, Brianna, who I’ve known since I was 8. My bride-to-be isn’t a native Gothamite because she lived in Sacramento from birth until we were both 8 years old, which is when she and her family first moved to Gotham. Me, However, I’m a native gothamite. And I choose it because I think it symbolizes my allusion to me being both female and male, although I am not those genders. I am also apart of the batfamily. So are both my older brother and older (brother-turned)sister. They are also corvid-themed vigilantes. My sister is Crow, and my brother is Corvus. the two boys were in erics room, kyle on one end of erics bed and, well, eric himself on the other. not touching eachother, reading a different comic, nothing going on. until eric got a bit more comfy.

"dude, what are you doing?"

the ginger asked, arms faling from the postion they were in; holding the comic, to over erics legs that he had placed there moments before.

"oh nothing kahl, just wanted to get closer to my dear boyfriend."

one thing went to another, eric ended up somehow beside kyle, snuggling into his shoulder like a cat. when the other boy would question it, eric just shut him up with a "dont worry about it, kahl." until eventually kyle set the comic down in his lap and looked over at eric.

this was one of the first actual sweet moments they had, just looking at eachother. and it was all normal until eric kissed him. but for some reason when they seperated, kyle didnt hit the boy or turn green from disgust. he was..fine.

The first one uses this omniro flag, and the second is just the regular omni flag with a heart overlayed ontop.

I typically try to avoid the heart symbol flags (hence why I have a different version), but you can use whichever one you want.

idk if this counts as an adjacent or a shared experience, but I’m aromantic and (for complex reasons) quoisexual and although asexual as a label for me is technically applicable, it doesn’t feel fully correct (but most people expect people to be only allo/zedsexual or asexual, so people only understand “aroace” even though it’s not the whole story)

honestly yeah that sounds like a pretty mirrored experience to mine. interestingly enough i do see way more aros reject sexual orientation than i see aces reject romantic orientation but maybe it's just the corner of tumblr i happen to be on. but yeah, those binaries are definitely real. it's like the general society assumes i'm aro because i'm ace and didn't specify anything else, but the ace community assumes i'm zedro (or specifically omniro) because i didn't specify anything else. i can only imagine it's at least somewhat similar with aros, although zed/allosexual aros are very erased by pretty much everyone across the board.

Hi! i recently found out I'm omniromantic (I found out I'm asexual a while back) and I'm not feeling very valid for some reason, I feel that maybe I am just pretending to be omni and I am just pan or bi but I know that omni is the one describing me the best. What do I do?

i don't know if me telling you this will help but i promise you're valid no matter what anyone says. you aren't pretending to be anything you're not. for more practical advice, i would say try to make friends who are also omniro ace (maybe by asking on subreddits or making a tumblr post and tagging it in the respective communities or joining specific discord servers) because from my experience, finding your community feels literally so cathartic. let me know if you want more help/advice :)

Idk I consider myself somewhat of a bi lesbian in that technically I'm sometimes attracted to guys but I'd never date one. Generally I just say I'm a lesbian cuz people get really touchy about labels. I could be ace flux but honestly I have no clue anymore lol.

Oh god, so many lmao. Let's see... heteroflexible, bi, pan, omni, asexual, greysexual, ace flux, demigirl, demifluid, unlabled, queer, biro homosexual, biro ace, homoro ace, abro and aceflux, abro, omniro ace, idek so so many and not in that order lol. it took years and years to get to where i am now and even now i'm still not sure.
