I am getting a good grade in SOP comments, something which is both normal to want and possible to achieve.

I thought my boss was gonna be annoyed that I'm finding all these errors she then has to correct (only management has editing access which is super annoying to everyone including management) but she said it was helpful. So.

Still debating how frustrated she'll be when I leave 20 comments on the allegedly-just-updated-but-still-error-ridden one from yesterday. It's not my fault I told her these errors were there last time and she didn't fix them. I TOLD you the resistivity of DI water needs to be 18, and we had a very extensive debate over teflon tape so why is it still here? I will write it more politely than that but reading this thing feels like banging my head against a wall.

went to the new mission impossible (eugh) and shoutout to the lady in front of us. if you searched for a stock photo of an old lady she probably did the modeling, that’s not an insult, that’s just how she looked. at the end there’s a really inspirational blah blah hope prevails blah monologue and montage and my woman is bawling. she’s straight up sobbing into her twinky. she brought so many kleenexes and used them all. distraught.

I remember when I tried to explain my adult autism diagnosis to my mom, I thought it easier to have it in writing than try and explain, so I printed out pages of resources, highlighted key definitions and behaviors that I exhibited and put it in a binder. I handed it to her and let her read for a couple days, and her first response was to hold up the binder and say, “the fact that you made this explains so much.”
