They did Orihime so dirty in the anime. They left everything out and turned her into the damsel in distress trope and that is just not what happened at all. Like, yes she had almost no offensive power in the beginning, and she is the defacto healer, but her character development in the manga is so good and so glaringly obvious and in your face. I literally dont know how people dislike her. Orihime is actually one of the best and most multifaceted nuanced characters ever, and she doesnt get enough love or credit for everything she did for Ichigo (and by extension soul society and their friends) without question. Unwavering loyalty, even when they questioned if she had gone to Hueco Mundo of her own volition, after the soul society arc wanting to get stronger so she can protect everyone too, so she doesnt have to look at Ichigo's back while he protects her, so they can fight shoulder to shoulder, even though she cant fathom the enemy that they're going up against, even though Tatsuki gets her soul damn near sucked out, even though Chad's arm gets ripped off right in front of her eyes and all she does is immediately step forward to use her powers to reject and reverse his injury. She watches Chad get his arm ripped clean off and then tries to fight against a monster 8 times her size, because she doesnt want to buy time until Ichigo arrives anymore, she wants to fight too! We dont acknowledge that she is a 15 year old girl being threatened with the lives of all the people she cares about if she doesnt accompany Ulquiorra to Hueco Mundo, and this girl has no family left, her friends are her family. Her absolute unshakable faith that at least Ichigo, if not all of their friends would come for her no matter the risk. (Six hearts will beat as one) WHY DOES NO ONE FUCKING TALK ABOUT THE MOMENT SHE IS HAVING HER OWN POWER SPECULATED ON BY AIZEN, SHE REALIZES IF HER POWER IS THE ABILITY TO REJECT PHENOMENA, THAT SHE IS GOING TO TRY AND DESTROY THE HOGYOKU BY REJECTING ITS VERY EXISTENCE? THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST GIRLBOSS MOVES IN ALL EXISTING MEDIA. We dont talk about how fucking down for Ichigo she is in that moment in his fight with Grimmjow, when she is afraid of him, afraid of the hollow inside him, afraid that he will be lost to it like her big brother was and have his soul consumed, about how the second she decided he was still Ichigo, and he always would be that Ichigo was able to pull out the win. We dont talk about how the boy she loved got murdered right in front of her eyes by her kidnapper and manipulator, and in that moment calling out for him to protect her was more powerful than death. Ichigo was only able to use his hollow powers like that without losing himself (and he almost did) to them BECAUSE it was at Orihime's explicit request. Orihime deserves everything, she is the ultimate ride or die and not just for Ichigo, for everyone she cares about, and even for the people who dont deserve it. She healed those two arrancar women who were beating her to a pulp after Grimmjow busted in and ripped them apart, one even called her a monster as she was healing her because she didnt understand how Orihime could be so selfless in the face of such violence directed at her. She calls Orihime a monster because she herself is a monster and cant understand someone like Orihime that will help anyone with no bias just because it's the right thing to do. Orihime is literally the best fucking character and you cannot change my mind. So much of BLEACH is about the words, the feeling, the symbolism, and Orihime brings something to BLEACH that despite all the amazing dialogue and intense feelings and amazing battles, other characters at their best just don't bring to the series for me. She was the most underpowered, uninformed character just thrown into the middle of a literal supernatural war all because she wanted to do the right thing and help her friends and the boy she loved.

Why are fans always gatekeeping or gaslighting standards of a good female character? The fact is, you can NEVER appreciate them for who they are and expect them to be like someone whom you like when in fact they are great their way. In fact their boyfriends appreciated them in that way whereas you all never did and are still spouting blame only on the girl when your hated ships became more loved or canon. PERIOD.

I still have to get back to Bleach since I legit never finished it. I stopped reading it back around the same time I stopped reading Shippuden? Like 2010 or so. I can say that Bleach is definitely not better than n (Kishimoto is dumb as hell and n is a bit messy but… it’s n… it’s always been fun for me regardless. Tite on the other hand… jajaj man… I think his writing was always a bit rough tbh.) but Bleach still had way better female characters (there’s sm of them that were actually pretty decent and that are still lovable till this day. Tropey but still easy to care about because of their visibility. Tite relied a whole lot on sexualizing his female characters for fans to even pay attention to them though, especially the underage ones like Orihime, while on turn, reducing her to a damsel in distress all throughout the story (at least I still love her and I get the reason why she was done that way but still… I also feel like Tite probably got inspired by Kuwabara’s character arc from the Black Chapter saga of YYH tbh. It’s just always felt extremely similar to me is all. The entire first half of Bleach was literally a YYH rip off so go figure. Ichigo and Rukia were literally a budget Yusuke and Botan if I’m being serious. Ichigo as an MC is was, and is still pretty badass and I loved his chemistry with his friend group but he’s not all that interesting outside of being the “COOL,” guy. I felt like Tite probably really tried to go for a “hard, delinquent,” archetype similar to what Yusuke was (Yusuke is probably the best Shounen MC of all time man. I am not being biased, he’s so ideal. Sasuke is also in his lane… really great characters, the both of them) but he could never pull it off quite as cleanly as Togashi did (Togashi is amazing and YYH is the one of the best shounen of all time if I’m going based off of the writing and characters alone.) so Ichigo has always felt like he was always missing something (to me) but at least the girls were fun and were given actual screentime.

Sasuke gets called a 'hurts every woman in his life because his real soulmate is a man' case and in actual canon he's so desperate to get Naruto off his ass that he resorts to brutalizing him multiple times and he tried to kill Sakura exactly twice when he was spiraling due to relapsing but was best friends with her in their Genin days and continues to have a soft spot for her in Shippuden and Blank Period,was a mama's boy with pretty much no positive opinions on his abusive dad,mouthed off to multiple male authority figures and the only times he was actually mean to women more than men was when Ino and Karin would hit on him despite his obvious disinterest.Ichigo and Orihime are accused of ruining their whole series just for being endgame and then they were literally best friends who were secretly in love the whole manga with Ichigo's hollow raising him from the dead because of how much they loved her and Orihime being allowed to actually have her own personality,powers and friends and enemies seperate that were all fleshed out seperate from him.Nami and Luffy are said to be obviously the main couple but Luffy is canon aroace and Nami might be a lesbian since she's never shown interest in guys but HAS possibly in women.Fairy Tail is Lucy's story and her and the other girls have are way more interesting than almost all the guys with the exception of Gray and the Dragon Slayers and Graylu and Gajevy are easily the most well-written m/f ships in the franchise compared to the other shitty ones but you'd never know that from the fandom's metas and other content alone.Shonen fans will wake up every day and just lie

You know what sucks is that when terrible ships have fanart, that's awesome, and the healthy ships have terrible art? Not all healthy ships have terrible fan art. It's just that the majority of fandoms love unhealthy ships. For instance, Sasusaku, Ichihime, and Eremika. When people draw Sasuke, Ichigo, and Eren with someone else, like, for instance, Hinata, Ino, Tenten, Rukia, Renji, Ishida, Tatsuki, Byakuya, Mashiro, Sasha and Historia Reiss sometimes these shippers tend to get angry. If you ship Sasuke with any of the characters from "Naruto," that I listed, then people act like it's a threat. The same goes for Ichigo with someone else. Erehisu, on the other hand, is hell to pay for most Eremika shippers. Sasusaku and Eremika are the same. I saw a dumbass meme on reddit stating that Narusaku, Ichiruki, and Eremika are the ships they wanted to be canon, but we got Naruhina, Ichihime, and Erehisu instead. If you replace Eremika with Erehisu wanting to be canon along side with Narusaku and Ichiruki, then it makes better sense. The people who hate Erehisu are hard-core Eremika and Yumikuri, along with Reikuri stans and they think that Historia is gay. She's not gay. If anything, she's bisexual but not for Ymir or aromantic, but it's obvious that she's in love with Eren in a very healthy way. Orihime and Mikasa are better versions of Sakura. Naruhina also sucks. Eremika stans are the kind of people that will foam at the mouth from anger.

Whether Sakura stans like it or not, Sakura will also be judged on her combat usefulness since she is a kunoichi and they were taught to fight in the academy. Sure, she became a medic but even then, Tsunade drilled it to her that she must be able to fight if the situation arrives. From what we see, looks like she didn't took it to heart as she got one-shotted by Omoi and Naruto had to catch her. At least, Tsunade has shown time and time that she can hold off her own.

Also, why are her stans needed to compare her to other shonen female characters? To validate their queen? To show that their queen is supposed to be better or similar to other shonen female leads? If anything, what they are doing is making her look bad along with them. With all honesty, I'm not a fan of comparing characters from different series written by different mangakas as they wrote their characters to play a role in their stories. Each character is different and while similarities can be noted, its mostly coincidental.

Gosh, I didn't think I would write this long ask but Sakura, Sasuke and SasuSaku stans kinda destroyed my mood.

First of all let’s examine the hypocrisy of Sakura stans:

They want Sakura to be “just from a civilian clan” and “just a medic ninja not meant to fight”

AND

The strongest kunoichi in the series that can easily beat ninja soldier royalty like Hinata and Ino.

Nah pick one Saku Stans.

Also it’s all because those botched polls make them believe Sakura is too good to be compared to Hinata and Ino and they think she can be the queen of Shounen too.

One thing they don’t get is that NARUTO is popular. Not Sakura. People love NARUTO. Sakura is a meme compared to Rukia and Nami.

One thing Nami and Rukia have in common is that THEIR SERIES WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED IF NOT FOR THEM.

Luffy and the crew would be dead or lost without Nami

Bleach started off with Rukia awakening Ichigo’s powers.

This is why Hinata is so much more than Sakura because you have Naruto himself saying he wouldn’t have been here if not for Hinata more than once plus, we literally wouldn’t have Boruto and his interesting powers without Hinata. wtf was Sakura going to pass on? She already made Sarada need glasses.

Sakura ain’t even on the same level as the love interests in the big three. Orihime can bring back characters from the DEAD and limbs from nothing which would’ve embarrassed Sakura had Orihime been allowed to bring back Neji and bring Naruto and Sasuke’s arms back. And Boa is a whole queen of an Amazon island girl bye. 🤭

So I really don’t know what Sakura stans be on about with her.

Out of the big three— who do you think had the best character designs? Not just art style I mean like what artist do you think did the best taking into account character’s personality and story and did a good job of incorporating that into their designs?

As in Naruto, One piece and Bleach? Well I like Kishi's the best, because he seems to think what most characters would actually wear. Like how he said Ino is out-going and fashionable so she would dress like this, Hinata is shy and not interested in fashion so she would dress like this. Or him saying he gave Sakura leggins so she could move freely despite having a skirt. Instead of putting Hinata in a ridiculous booby dress like Kubo does to Orihime. Or making 90% of female characters look like clones like Oda does.

Oda and Kubo do have some nice designs as well, for example I really like Unohana, Grimmjow and Kenpachi's designs. I just find Naruto the most visually pleasing out of the three. Kishi's cinematic storytelling and careful paneling helps a lot too.

Well, what do you know! An anime convention has started up in Amity Park. Whenever such events take place, you can usually count on one thing to see. Cosplay...and LOTS OF IT! And for the people of Amity Park, this is no exception. Even the residents of the Ghost Zone are getting in on the act. In the first pic, we have Ember cosplaying as Ino Yamanaka from Naruto (Shippuden version), Penelope Spectra as Temari from Naruto (pre-Shippuden version so she can show herself off more) and Desiree coming in as Madame Shirley from One Piece (as you can see, it's a bubble pipe she has in her hands, she's not actually smoking). The background of this pic is simply based in the convention's Photo Room, where patrons can have their pictures professionally taken in their cosplay. And in case you're wondering why a professional photographer would actually want to take a picture of these three, well...let's just say they didn't give him a whole lot of choice in the matter.

This first pic comes by way of a DA member, who is really the main reason this whole thing got started. His original request was that he wanted to see his favorite DP lady, Ember McLain, in some martial arts gear. Well, we got to talking and this basically went from a Naruto cosplay idea to a general cosplay idea, which eventually grew into an idea for an entire series on this subject. Which brought us to the second pic.  Sam, never turning away from an opportunity to let her bad girl out, is stepping out as the "Anti-Chun-Li" herself, Juri Han (Sam also never turning away from an opportunity to be “anti”-things). Danny, meanwhile, has come to the party as Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon, opting to accompany Sam as a more dashing figure. All in all, I think they both pull it off nicely. From there, the rest of the Fenton family gets in on the fun.  Jack has come out, dressed as Android 8 from "Dragonball" (one of the few anime characters whose shoes he's big enough to fill), with Maddie dressed as Dorothy Wayneright from "The Big O" (matching Jack's costume by dressing up as an android in her own right...or "Wayneright", as the case may be).  Jazz, meanwhile, arrives as Asuka Tenjoin from "Yu-Gi-Oh GX".  I was originally planning to cosplay her as Orihime Inoue from "Bleach", but Jazz hasn't got the figure for it.  Truthfully, she hasn't got the figure for Asuka, either, but they're much closer, in terms of personality.  And then, we’ve got Danielle as Pan from "Dragonball GT" (''nuff said). I'll gradually be banging out more pics for this series as time goes on (and as I come up with more ideas). But for right now, this is good enough to start.  Also, since these pictures are literally years apart, it gives you a chance to see what subtle improvements were made to my artwork during that period.  Either way, I hope you like what you see. ^_^

Bleach fans especially shippers have such a lack of perspective when they talk about Naruto sometimes. I hear shit like “Ichihime is the Naruhina of Bleach” or “the end game ships in Bleach are JUST LIKE those in Naruto.” GIRL…end the lies, you don’t even know how wrong you are. Ichigo never said “I love you” out loud to Orihime’s face so it’s a bad ship? (He never said that to anyone else but whatever) Sai thought directly to himself that Ino was UGLY and they got MARRIED, Sasuke (gigantic homosexual) called Sakura delusional and projected a vision of her being killed by him into her mind and dipped for ten years and never kissed her, Naruto the lonely orphan avoids his family on purpose, Sasuke’s daughter is named SALAD. Your least faves could NEVER.

Well, NaruSaku and BoruSara fans are showing their shallowness again plus some ignorance. Did they ever wonder why Naruto is orange and Hinata is purple? It's mainly due to the fact that Kishi based their colors from Goku and Chichi of Dragon Ball. Even Hinata's hime-cut was inspired by Chichi's. NaruHina is a pre-series idea and in fact, Hinata herself got a pre-series art unlike Sakura, who was an editor recommendation. Kishi took his time to think about them and wouldn't use shallow reasons for his pre-series couple to work. I wouldn't repeat the "unmei no akai ito" explanation as I did it earlier.

Also, while Sumire is not busty during Boruto, that doesn't mean she can't be after the timeskip. Maybe her present outfit hides her real figure so we can't say. Sure, she was not that busty during her academy days but that doesn't mean she can't. I mean, look at Ino, she wasn't busty in her pre-teens but she did get busty during her teens. I did not say it to shame Ino but to make a comparison. Lastly, what's the big deal about bustiness and looks, Minato, Naruto and hopefully Boruto, did not fall in love with Kushina, Hinata and Sumire respectively due to their looks but their character. Their looks are just the icing on the cake.

P.S. - If Sumire's post timeskip figure is shown thru a more revealing outfit and it shows that she is quite busty, BoruSaras would attack her much like NaruSakus and its twin from another franchise, IchiRukis, did with Hinata and Orihime for the same reason.

true. in all honesty, their looks or colors mean nothing. it's about THEM themselves, their personality, and how they all stuck by them from the beginning. Kushina chose Minato cause he saved her, Naruto chose Hinata cause she risked her life for him, he saved her too, Sumire chose Boruto because he saved her, and she saved him too because she told Salad about the Omnipotence, so if it wasn't for her, Sasuke would've have came to Boruto's rescue.

yes. it really doesn't matter about chest size or looks at all. and if we look at Ino in the Boruto manga, she literally has no chest, maybe even flatter than Sakura, and Hinata, too. so it could be the art style.

but hating on a character for their looks is just idiotic. the Sakura & Salad fandom hate on Hinata & Sumire for their looks, long hair, chest, yet they go ahead and draw Sakura & Salad with long hair and big chest. they even COMPLAIN about her chest being small. yet hate on other characters for a big chest.

Hinata was quite modest, so you could barely tell what size hers was until the bath scene and The Last. so the same could be with Sumire.

I am apart of the Bleach fandom and I swear, they've done EVERYTHING the ns have. even trying to get the series a different ending. they really look up to the ns fandom, huh?

I just hope the bsa fandom won't attack bsu/Sumire after the series is done, but I know that won't happen since we've already seen what happens when the main guy doesn't get with the main girl, and they're jealous of the secondary girl's looks.
