I’m in the deep trenches of making my own Au where Hermes and Charon are finance bros (god of commerce and the god who collects gold, duh, ain’t no way they’re dirt poor).

There’s plenty of fics that display Hermes as the black sheep of the family who’s running his own life away from his family doing odd jobs and barely hangs on (no hate I love them!!!) but there’s not enough Rich! Hermes out there so I just gotta insert my own brain rot. Charon and Hermes working for rival finance companies (one deal with future investment and one deal with settlement money/clauses after one’s death (idk if it’s a real thing but meh)

i get he was trying to make her a feminist icon, but he really failed with piper. piper clearly hated femininity and looked down feminine girls AND SHE WAS PROVEN RIGHT because 99% of her enemies (major or minor) were girls that were comfortable with their femininity and rick had her triumph over them every time

rick's favoritism over piper. her charmspeak worked on opponents that it shouldn't have worked on (gaea and khione), every other female character suddenly gets downgraded whenever she's around (drew, aphrodite, annabeth, the entire fucking aphrodite cabin, etc), none of her actual flaws were called out (this is mostly because rick never intended for her internalized misogyny and obsessiveness to be her flaws, they were created by accident and noticed by the readers).... and you get the point

the gods were.... kinda underwhelming. they seemed more like superhumans than actual gods. poseidon didn't use his water powers? hades didn't summon the dead? no lightning from zeus? most of the gods were fighting physically and not using their actual powers which was kinda...... meh

the list of fighters for both humans and gods.... the gods literally have 5 greeks and 3 norse gods whereas the humans have 4 japanese fighters 🫤 i'd like a lil more diversity

the way the fight scenes are animated in the anime..... they are so bad..... like SO bad 😭😭 my jaw dropped when i watched them

So I just found out that Poseidon is also the god of droughts and what are your thoughts on a child of poseidon with drought powers, a complete opposite to their more sea based children?

Oh! I knew this 🙌 I think it's related to him being the god of the sea/water, sort of like how Apollo is associated with healing but also the plague. I always find it funny when that happens 🤣

So for the kids who skew more to the side of drought, obviously they still have their sea powers. They're probably far more dry in tone, less empathic, less emotional. Maybe they're more prone to the earthshaker side of Poseidon as well, and the equine, to make up for the lesser interest in the sea. Plus earthquakes and horses are more land-based and a drought affects the land (agricultural loss, wildfires, increased sandstorms, etc).

In PJO canon, I'd want to say drought-based kids grew up more inland where access to a large body of water was difficult to come across. So it's less about internal nature (as with my interpretation of the freshwater vs seastorm Neptune babies), and more about familiarity and adaptation - sort of like how catci and other desert plants have evolved to handle long periods without water.

Powers that they have an increased capability for over their sea counterparts:

causing earthquakes! they can manipulate them on a small or large scale, but they have higher propensity. it's a little harder for them to cause underwater earthquakes tho (which. can become tsunamis btw)

dehydration - sort of an inverse of drowning a person in their own fluids, they will the liquids inside them to dry up at a rapid pace

as a subset of that, i think it would be so cool if they could pull a tantalus-like punishment with enough focus on someone. no matter how much you drink, you will always be thirsty, you will never be satisfied, you will be captain barbosa and his crew, turning skeletal in the moonlight

they can withstand higher and drier heats than their sea-preferred counterparts (for example, percy would be hanging off of carter in the desert, crying for water, while they're chilling and vibing, truly a cactus of a person)

similarly, they retain water better, and sweat less. their bodies need less fluid to keep going on (this makes them better at giving blood lol, stay juicy everybody!)

while most children of poseidon are capable of piling water in the air into something usable, the drought prone kids have picked up how to pull water/usable liquid from anything available, as dry climates may lack enough water in the air for it to be worthwhile compared to humid climates --- so they're more likely to pull water out of living things, pull water out of the ground, or even find water deep underground (well water!)

due to the above, they're more capable of causing inland floods, they can pull water out from deep in the earth and force it to surround areas that are devoid of rivers, lakes, or even high rainfalls - this isn't just because of the whole "god of floods" thing either, it's because after a long period of drought, sudden rains can cause flash flooding to occur, so they're good at making flood happens

heat generation! they may be able to make things hotter, and/or drier

they have perpetual black thumbs. they are... not very good at growing plants lol

finding/summoning horses. it might take a while, but if there is a horse, they will find it (like the horse version of a dowsing rod, which, lol, they're kind of the human version of a dowsing rod, i guess), and if there are no horses nearby, they will get one to come to them through ✨ vibes ✨

their version of a storm is a heatwave OR extreme rain. yes, they can summon hurricanes or typhoons, but those are much more ocean-based things. so forcing high and burning levels of heat that makes everyone stumble and sag, sweating through every inch of fabric they have OR extreme and heavy rainfall that practically drowns you where you stand and knocks you to the ground is more their instinct

lowkey i wanna give them sandstorms as well, since that can be an effective of long-period of drought, but. you know. idk how much greece was ever getting pummeled by sandstorms for that to be something they associated with drought. (egypt, on the other hand, set, my dangerous and beloved)

(funnily enough set is also the god of foreigners, so like, who knows, maybe he and poseidon struck a funny deal when one of his kids traipsed over there while wandering around)

Since I think the difference between sea-based Poseidon babies and land-based Poseidon babies is just due to their adaptation of their environment, I think someone who is sea-based could easily become more land-based after living in such conditions for a while, and vice versa. Sort of like accents, lol. You know, if Percy decided to up and move to the desert in his 40s, he'd adapt after an initial period of "oh my gods oh my gods where is the fucking water where is the ocean i am dying" lol. it would take him a lot longer to pick up on the accent of the land than if he were younger, and so he'd still maintain his "sea" accent long-term

Because of this, I think it would be really neat if, way back when, it was common for the kids to take a few months away from camp to go living in the desert for a bit so they could pick up some land skills - like a rite of passage for poseidon demigods. one of the older cabin members goes out with them to make sure they don't die, helps them hone into the skills they might not have tapped into before, etc and so on. The kids come back at the end of their outing, more well-rounded and capable of tapping into the opposite side of their powers, when and if needed. Some of the kids might repeat the outing more than once for funsies, but most of them usually just do the one time thing, and then practice their land-based powers on a smaller scale at camp.

If a land-based kid comes into camp when they're much older, they don't typically have to do the outing, but sometimes they'll go out, not to learn anything, but to help the others, since they'll essentially receive assistance with their sea-based powers while they're at camp (presuming every version of camp has been based near the ocean or some giant water mass throughout the years - if not, then it goes the other way around, where they take a few months to go chill out on a beach for a few months).

Additionally, just 'cause, here are the four types of droughts I came across while googling "drought causes" because, lol, I'm an island boy, I am not familiar with droughts and wanted to get some facts in that weren't high temps and low rainfall (source):

Meteorological: region-specific; occur when an area receives less rainfall than normal; often measured by comparing the current situation to previous years’ rainfall. Some locations are affected more harshly than others.

Agricultural: when there is not enough moisture in the soil to sustain the growth of crops. So, the effects of an agricultural drought hinge largely on the growth stage of the plants.

Hydrological: when there is a lack of surface and subsurface water supply; detrimental effects can be most readily observed in watersheds and river basins; affect the entire water cycle, take longer to notice, and have effects less immediately obvious than with other droughts.

Socioeconomic: when the water supply is too low to support human and environmental needs; wreaks havoc on the supply and demand of crucial commodities like water, grains, fish, and hydroelectric power.

Sorry if this is random; I’m curious! How would you rank Rick’s portrayal of the Olympian gods, from least to most accurate?

Mine would go Poseidon, Ares, Zeus, Apollo, Demeter, Artemis, Aphrodite, Athena, Dionysus, Hermes, Hephaestus, Hera.

Okay... hmm... this is gonna be rough cause wow it's complicated cause Rick fucked up all of them really and I'm gonna have to basically measure it- but uh-

Least Accurate

Dionysus: Dionysus of the myths is legitimately a force of nature and chaos and he is remarkably good looking (emphasized several times in the myths). The best I can give him is that his Dionysus is depressed, that's literally his only shield on this matter.

Zeus: oh boy- okay so this is a thing like yeah Zeus does some shit in the myths but Rick is like- not looking at context. Does he get with a lot of women? Yeah. Do the myths use the word r*pe for it? Yes. Do you know what that word meant at the time? Cause let me tell you, it's not the same it means now. It means either to take the person (physically move them elsewhere) or to be with them without the permission of the father. Zeus def got with some without consent but it is not nearly to the level people like to claim. And on top of that, people keep saying he's horrible, Rick included. Zeus is the God of Justice and he is not bad at that. He has many notable instances in the myths of being a fair judge, of ceding his own vote to be sure as the judge he doesn't make it unfair (like say, the Poseidon and Athena myth which implies he would've voted in Poseidon's favor). That's not even getting into his position as the God of hospitality (there's a reason people respect hospitality laws) or a God of the home. Just- Zeus is so much more than what Rick showed but Rick, like many others, didn't bother to look beyond the most basic beliefs of the myths. (oops that's long)

Apollo: Maybe one would consider this unreasonable, but the amount of myths he twisted or even made up brings Apollo to a very inaccurate standard.

Ares: Ares is treated as an abusive father and frankly not the smartest. The real Ares is one of the BEST dads in the myths imo. And he is a God of War, not the strategy but he has the instincts, he is the strength of will, the courage and the fear rolled up in one.

Hera: ... okay she- okay people don't understand her stuff and I wrote a thing on her before (HERE) tho that covers a specific myth but like- she is the Goddess of FAMILY. She would never have treated Nico like that. She would never have treated the family like that. She would have issues with Zeus' kids, but mythologically they only really suffered from her when Zeus shoved them in front of her. She stood against several of his kids yeah, but her active harm is most evident with Herakles and Dionysus specifically, and my post does cover that. So like- the hate shown? It would not be nearly that level. Her greatest grievance was always with the women who got with Zeus. She loves her family, she loves her people, she is a loving Goddess.

Poseidon: I've spoken of it before but I DO give credit for him being a family man and willing to go to extremes, he's just... way too chill. Like so way too chill.

Demeter: Okay with Rick I almost give him a pass for his messed up portrayal of Demeter if only because literally everyone does it. People lack a fundamental understanding of Demeter, of her love of her daughter which is returned equally. He makes her overbearing and obsessed with... cereal of all things. It's a mess, but she isn't present enough for me to really get on his case for her.

Aphrodite: He got her being a force of love fairly right but messed up a lot on how she cares for it, how she is a force of war, blood lust and sexual lust both. She is not soft and gentle, love has started and ended wars and she is that force.

Athena: for all Athena gets a lot of attention she wasn't actually... present much. But from what we do see? Her just having kids is horrifically inaccurate. But she does guide the children and give them gifts (seen via Annabeth). The weird stuff with her and Minerva is horribly inaccurate and if Minerva was on the table for this it would put Athena and Minerva at the Least Accurate without a doubt. But she's a strategist, if a bit... colder than one would expect. And she aided on quests.

Artemis: she gets fairly accurate because while he definitely got parts wrong (like her hunters and stuff) she is a warrior, she is protective, she is a shield for the young. So the man hating stuff is... not as bad as some of the others got.

Hephaestus: ehhhhh, he's... okay he's a loner so kudos on that, and awkward with people sure, but like- he does care for his family. And he forgave Hera ages ago, there's a whole part of a myth on it. He is good with machines tho, and otherwise doesn't really get attention so... okay.

Hermes: he's pretty chill, and cares for his kids and stuff. Not the worst? Honestly, he doesn't get a huge amount of attention in manners I can really judge. He's polite, helpful, and gives aid. And he cares for his kids a lot and watched over them. Not bad.

Percy's Official Sneakers are Reeboks and Here Are My Takes

I'm just gonna say it. The Lightning Thief came out in 2005. Reebok was sinking slowy but it was still pretty cool. It had years of history specially in the 80s/early 90s. There are no mentions of shoe brands (despite Percy's two or three mentions of being interested in skateboarding) until The Last Olympian.

Now, here's the thing. By almost 2010 Reebok had a hard time releasing a sneaker that made a difference. Now, in 2005 I was 10 years old.

Every child was wearing Reeboks (and other brands sure). I'm gonna go from the funny assumption that Riordan is up to date with sneaker releases, and that Percy needs shoes from the beggining, and that if he was still sticking by Reebok in 2009, he was wearing them 4 years prior. And that his family doesn't have a lot of money to spare on this kind of thing, so I decided to look into older models as well, for example Percy could be wearing a sneaker that cane out in 2000 because it'd be cheaper (or rarer but that doesn't count) by now.

Let's look at some shoes!

From 1995 to 2002 not much luck (some years had no releases). Percy is definitively a t-shirt beaten sneakers sort of kid. These don't fit do they?

Well these is all there is from 95 to 2002 from my research. Keep in mind I'm not a sneaker-head.

It gets a little better, in 2008 the Reverse Jam comes out. I guess Riordan could envision Percy wearing these. But very few skater kids (not Percy but he thinks he is) wear mid/high sneakers.

And just for fun, in 2009:

Basically going from 1995 to 2009 I found nothing worth noting. But I wore Reeboks. A bunch of kids did. A bunch of people back in the day did. Where were the models I remember?

Well... from 95 prior. The classics. Most of the top selling and received Reebok sneakers ever are old.

So I decided to scavenge for some options, based on: Memories and personal taste regarding what I think Percy would wear. He's not cool and in tune with this stuff in my head he's chill. Makes do. (But I'm still gonna throw some cooler more out there stuff in there).

From 85/86 because 80s sneakers rule, the BB4600. It's just nice. White sneakers complement the blue jeans orange shirt black hair design nicely. Design wise it works. Not so much character wise I guess. And the Pump one from I wanna say, 91? It's just the sort of intricate a teen would think looks cool. Nowadays we have cooler looking mid sneakers but it holds up. The red-orange detailing makes it for me. Both are mid tho, not the best for the skating look.

No worries. Moving on.

From the early 90s, the Workout Plus. Flat sole? Brown sole/black everything else combo? Name one skater that hasn't worn something that looks like this at some point. The Workout Plus was considering very cool. It still looks cool, in a simple nostalgic way. Could be. Very wannabe skater for Percy. The brown soles also give the black hair top / black shoes bottom a good color break for when drawing.

But this is not it. I've been leading you to the one. Not so good for the design I'll say. It's all black. But it was received extremely well. Everyone and their cousin was wearing this. I had one. I didn't even know it was a hit sneaker; I had one when The Lightning Thief came out in Brazil, in 2008, THREE whole years after it's original release. Because it has netting, it looked destroyed really fast. It looked terrible to wash but was easy and dried fast. It was the outdoorsy kid that wanted to look cool sneaker. With y'all, the Reebok Ventilator.

Looks cheap. Old as heck. Sporty. Incredibly resistant to getting beaten up but still quick to look worn. Interesting texturing (for when drawing). No style whatsoever. For me, this is it. Percy's main sneakers.

At least up to when he's 16. I rest my case.

imma be honest this is a long time coming, okay so here’s the timeline we’re looking at so you understand me. i read lightning thief in middle school, dropped it and read it again in ninth grade. then i read sea of monsters, but never started titan’s curse. then for some reason in 11th grade i bought the second book in heroes of olympus and started to read it and got confused so i started to read titan’s curse and got to when percy took artemis’s place and then dropped it...again. very sad that time considering it was LEGIT THE END SO CLOSE. anyway yesterday i read the whole thing again and the battle of the labrinyth in like 6-8 hours. idk i can’t remember if i started at 10pm or midnight but i finished at 6am. anyways today i read the last olympian, and now i’m starting the lost hero. i thought it’d be funny to do my reactions.

- he was captain of the swim team during high school bc sally wanted him to get into some extracurriculars that he’d enjoy & excel at! coach says he’s never seen anyone like perseus and he’s won their school’s swim team gold many times

- a few times he’s had to check himself bc he was being Too Fast and Too Good so he’d watch it but everyone knows that percy jackson is the best swimmer they’ve ever seen and they say he should be an olympian... hehe ;)

- so ofc king gets SCOUTED! he’s one of those student athletes djdjdj he has his blue ahs swim team hoodie and dark blue basketball shorts or dark grey sweats and a chill but tired look in his eyes and he always is drinking water bc hydration is key and it heals him too

- towards the end of the school year and after many swim meets & talking to his mom & coach he gets a glimmer of genuine excitement bc he hasn’t gone on a quest in so long which means he can dedicate his time to being a “normal teenager” rather than a demigod always fearing for his life (tho he’s fought a fair few monsters during lunch breaks at school... seeing hotboy percy jackson with a baseball bat or lacrosse stick fighting some wack looking teenager is always a scene but people are used to it by now smfh)

- SO. he gets to college and swim meets are surprisingly the highlight of his day! he’s an insanely good leader with great morale and wants to keep everyone healthy, safe, and to have them enjoy the sport that they love!

- he’s v dedicated to his team and he’s the type of leader to push them but also make sure they tackle their weaknesses while making sure they know of their strengths and work on both! he can be a hardass when he wants if no one is giving it their all or people are being moody and aren’t listening (which isn’t that often bc percy is both commanding and kind) but most often he’s having a laugh and enjoying his time w his teammates and they’re all collectively learning from each other and helping one another out!

- and to no one’s surprise there are always TONS of onlookers at not only the meets/competitions but also during practice and like... that’s a mood everyone has a crush on percy he’s just super nice & handsome & very skilled

- also his friends are the best and you can always catch them cheering him on & making really cute posters and signs & making lil diy shirts of perseus :’) he usually doesn’t care about if he wins or not bc like he always does win and yes he’s super competitive but like. not in a mean way he’s a team player and a good sport and always hypes up his teammates!

Thinking about Veronica Mars. About Veronica/Logan. Do they have a ship name?? But I love that show and i was THERE for them. They were kind of a surprise ship for me, in that when they got together I was like, wait, WHAT? Like I was totally caught off guard. But there first kiss is, like, sooo romantic to me haha. It’s my fave scene in the show. But Logan is suck a prick sometimes. And they break up like every five minutes. And every season Logan gets accused of murder which of course he ends up not being the murderer. And they get back together eventually and I’m like really? But deep down I am rooting for them lol. I really enjoyed the new season of Veronica Mars that came out last year, actually. The ending made me SO SAD THO.

I also used to watch Supergirl and I thought Kara and Mon-El were adorable. He was very Carswell Thorne-esque, RH, I *think* you would like him. I never watched past season 3(?) though, and he shoots off into space and I never caught up so a few months ago I actually googled what happens and [spoiler] he ends up marrying someone else in the future or something so I was like, ok I’m not investing any more time in this show lol. (Also I had to google Mon-El’s name just now bc i forgot which is a bad look BUT I WAS REALLY RIDE OR DIE FOR THEM FOR A WHILE lol). Also I loved Martian Manhunter in this show, he was my favorite character. But the CGI for him was awful, omg. He had practical makeup at first, they should have just stuck with that.

Speaking of Martian Manhunter, I also used to watch Young Justice and loved Miss Martian/Superboy. Am I basic??? lol oop. But I love basic love stories. Anyway, I thought they were super cute. In season 3 though they’re kind of on the rocks. I haven’t watched season 4. I also loved Artemis/Wally West, but of course that had to end tragically.

Also, let’s talk about Nightcrawler. Allow me to set the scene. Little Kat is 13 and just rediscovered the cartoon she saw a few times as a kid called X-Men: Evolution. And thus, a weird obsession with the German, blue demon boy began. I loved Kurt Wagner. In the cartoon he starts a relationship with Amanda Sefton and I thought they were a-dor-a-ble. She accepted him for who he was, and they had a really nice healthy relationship. A lot of ppl shipped him with Kitty too which i am honestly all for idec I JUST WANT THE BLUE BOI TO BE HAPPY.

Can we talk about A:TLA too??? Like, obviously Zutara, amiright? Power couple. Like, Kataang is.. fine, but its probably my least favorite part about the ending, haha. Also, consider: Tokka. Toph is bae and can get anyone she wants, and she clearly had kind of a crush on Sokka and I think they could have been awesome. It actually kills me that they never say who Lin and Suyin’s father is in LoK. I had a whole theory that it was that kid The Duke from Jet’s band based on like 2 scenes from the series. There’s a tumblr post I made about it somewhere in the ether lol.

I also just remembered Tahnorra (Tahno/Korra) from Legend of Korra. It’s hard for me to explain this one. It’s a weird combination of being hyperfixated on the first season of the show when it came out, and I think I stumbled upon some fic or something???? And I thought Tahno was hot or something??? And FUN FACT, he was voice by Rami Malek BEFORE HE WAS COOL. So like before Rami really got big I knew who he was. He also basically played the Avatar in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 and I thought that connection was hilarious. It was kind of a problematic crack pairing but there was one author in particular whom i follow to this day hoping she’ll update her Tahnorra fics…. *sigh*

Okay one last ship…. I used to be ride or die for Outlaw Queen in Once Upon a Time (aka Regina/Robin Hood). Like, before TLC, I had a personal tumblr renaissance for that ship alone. My only existing published fanfic is for that ship. Taylor Swift’s 1989 came out that year and I related every dang song to that ship. I loved Regina so much and I just wanted her to be happy. That show is a dumpster fire, though, and spat all over my hopes and dreams. *sigh*

🌿 favorite comfort food: Bread, cookies, and whatever cereal is around haha, seriously i have a thing for bread-y(? things so whatever can go with a lil milk or coffee, I’m down. 

🌼 favorite drink: Coffee all the way, more specifically Cafè de Olla (spiced coffee), which is traditional here, basically coffee with cinnamon, tastes really goooood

🌷 favorite relaxing activity: Reading, reading all the way...I also have a shit ton of book at home so I have many many options

🌻 favorite calming scent: Cinnamon, that smell when it rains too, i guess that’s why i love rainy days, and coffee, always coffee.

🌺 favorite relaxing (or uplifting) song: For me it has to be Never Let Me Go by Florence and the Machine, you just gotta sit of lay down in your bed, close your eyes and leave the song...oh gosh is so relaxing, tho it’s a lil sad really

🍄 favorite book to get lost in: Ditto, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, also recently I just finished “This is how you lose the time war” and omg that book is everything!! 100% reccommend.

💐 favorite chill-out TV show: Avatar The last airbender, always.

🌹 the best advice you’ve ever had: It’s gonna sound really clichè and you probably already heard it but it goes if you are afraid of doing something, do it with fear...It is so easy to stop doing things when you’re afraid of what will happen or how or what other people might think but if there’s something you really want you have to go for it, you can deal with whatever later, and this is something i try to always remember.

In regards to this not known yet NBA guy. Retired doesn't mean he is for certain old, athletes retire at diff ages for diff reasons, the show has had 3 bb players in past 24 seasons, it is a bit premature to assume since they didn't do well (tho Fox stuck around awhile) this guy will for sure suck too. So to SOME S fans, chill a bit & to some fans of other pros laughing at what will be a 'for certain' early exit for S, maybe slow the roll a bit. Well known or ringers aren't always money either.

No one knows how anyone is going to do until they hit the dance floor.  On paper, Heather was the ringiest ringer to ever ring on DWTS.  She is a legitimate professional dancer.  However, she didn’t connect with the audience, therefore she went home way before she should have.  Tommy Freakin Chong went to 5th place (when an Olympian went out first) and so did Jerry Springer.  Both of them were old and very unathletic.  Bill Engvall went to the finals.  Don’t ever discredit someone with a mild amount of rhythm, good work ethic,and personality.  They will always go further than a ringer with the personality of a dishtowel (unless they’re with Sharna....and then they’ll get to week 8)

How do you think they would react to MC being like on a national level swimmer who dreams are the Olympics? Or state level (which is huge where i am from. Im australian and a swimmer and those are my dreams hahaha. Almost there tho!) - do RFA + V and Unknown along with them. ;--;

Oh my gosh, how exciting! When I see you’re famous and I see you on TV one day I’ll be like ‘Yeah I know them, they asked for a request on my Tumblr!’ Although I’m going to have to say I really don’t know much about swimming. All of my swimmer knowledge comes from watching Free! and like two Olympic matches so I’m sorry if the swimming terminology is incorrect! I still hope that you enjoy and good luck my friend!! :D 

Yoosung

Yoosung is so incredible hyped when you tell him that you’re a professional swimmer

He has a little bit of knowledge of swimming but he’s extremely eager to learn from you

Really enjoys watching you practice and cheers really loud for you

Yoosung is always waiting at the end for you with a towel in hand ready to wrap around you

When you tell Yoosung that you’re trying to become an Olympian swimmer he’s so shocked

He becomes one hundred times more supportive and will try to help out in any way that he can

Yoosung is so proud to call you his girlfriend and won’t stop supporting you until he sees you with that gold Olympic medal around your neck

Zen

Zen first thinks that by you being a swimmer you mean just like a casual swimmer

Oh no, you explain to Zen that you’re a professional swimmer and he’s so happy for you

He honestly just wants to see you succeed so he becomes your fanboy

Loves watching you practice and always gives you a huge hug afterwards because he’s just so happy for you

When you tell him that you’re trying to get to the Olympics, Zen think he might explode of happiness

He’s always there for you and even though he’s not a very good swimmer, will always encourage you Zen firmly believes that everyone should follow their dream and you’re no exception, so he decides to be there for you every step of the way until he sees you on the winner’s podium

Jaehee

Jaehee loves the fact that you’re a swimmer!

She watches swimming on her off time so when she finds out that you’re a swimmer she’s so excited

Starts asking you a millions questions and honestly, it’s so cute to see her so excited

Jaehee almost fainted from excitment when you told her that you were trying to go to the Olympics someday

She helps you with a training regiment and basically becomes you’re new coach

Every single practice she’ll be there as well as your swim meets

She’s always waiting for you at the end and will hug you, jumping up and down when she sees your times

Watching you swim gives Jaehee something to be happy about and since seeing her happy makes you happy, you tell her that one day you’ll be standing on the podium with a gold medal with her at your side

Jumin

Jumin is pleasantly surprised to find out that you’re a swimmer

He’s actually quite knowledgeable about swimming and even offers to hire a personal coach and trainer for you

He’ll rent out an entire swimming stadium for your to practice with and one of his favorite things to do is to bring Elizabeth the 3rd with him and watch you practice

When you tell Jumin that you’re trying to become an Olympic swimmer, he’s got his phone out trying to call the Olympic committee to get you in

You have to explain to him that you want to get in because you worke hard and not because of his status

He understands and makes sure to schedule his meetings around your matches since he loves watching you swim

Always waiting for you at the end to wrap you in a towel and tell you how proud he is of you

Jumin becomes extremely supportive of your swimming goals and promises that he won’t give up until you’ve won gold

Seven

Seven can hardly believe it when you tell him that you’re a swimmer!

He’s never really been into sports, but he’s always enjoyed watching swimming so now he’s hyped

Seven wants to hack into the Olympic committee’s system to get you in when you tell him that you dream of being an Olympian swimmer

You tell Seven to chill and if he wants to help, he can cheer you on instead

He agrees and goes to all of your practices and matches, making up ridiculous cheers but they’re actually pretty cute

Like when you’re doing the backstroke, Seven will yell “My girlfriend’s got backstroke for days!”

He always waits for you at the end and screams about how amazing you swam and how proud of you he is

Seven said that neither himself or you will rest until you become the most decorated Olympian swimmer

V

V absolutely loves the fact that you’re a swimmer!

This boy is really interested in whatever you do, but becomes especially excited to hear that you’re a swimmer

He can’t really see well enough to try and give you advice but he’ll tell you that he’s sure that you always do an amazing job

V took a photo of you swimming the breaststroke and it’s now his favorite picture ever and he keeps a copy with him at all times

Tries his best to go to every single one of your matches and always gets excited and cheers for you it’s the sweetest thing ever

He gives you so much encouragement when you tell him that you’re trying to become an Olympian swimmer and promises to always be there for you to cheer you on

V sincerely wants to see you succeed and promises that one day he’ll take a picture with you and your gold medal

Unknown

Saeran is really interested and somewhat hesitant to hear that you’re a swimmer

He’s not a great swimmer himself so he can get nervous around a huge pool of water

But seeing how happy you are when you talk about swimming makes him curious enough to watch your practices

Saeran’s eyes light up the first time he sees you swim and at that moment on, he becomes your number one supporter

He actually approaches you on teaching him how to swim better to which you happily agree of course

He gets super pumped when you tell him that you’re trying to become an Olympian swimmer and says that he’ll be there with you every step of the way

He’s always there at the end of each match to tell you how good you performed and to glare at the other swimmers

Saeran genuinely wants to see you succeed and tells you that he’ll stay by your side until you become a gold medalists
