If you're fortunate enough to own a car, count your blessings. Given the means, I would have purchased one long ago, but the weight of tuition fees compels me to endure a daily mile-long walk in the unforgiving cold almost every day. Oddly enough, the journey to campus carries its qualities - passing through a park, surrounded by pleasant scenery, with my favourite playlist playing through my headphones, it becomes an almost comforting routine - except on days like today, where I’m running late.

Choosing sociology ranks among the biggest mistakes in my life, closely followed by my track record with every guy I've been involved with. It seems every guy my age is solely fixated on getting their dick sucked and seeking validation from their male peers.

Entering my building, I head straight to class, mentally preparing myself for boredom. Amongst my whole class, I've only really gotten close with one person in my class - Madi. She's friendly, and her accom building is conveniently across mine, making her my go-to companion here. Reaching my relatively small class, I push the door open, taking my seat beside Madi. Placing my bag on the desk. I unpack my belongings, removing my headphones and setting them on the table. "Look who's finally arrived," Madi teases with a smile. Glancing at her and then towards the front of the room, I notice the absence of the teacher. Did I really beat him here? "Where's Mr. Kennedy?" I ask, confusion etched on my face. Her expression falters. "Didn't you hear?" she begins. I shake my head no. "He got caught having an affair with a student," she whispers. My jaw drops. "So, who's filling in for him?" I ask. She simply shrugs.

Engaging in small talk whilst I log onto my laptop, her attention shifts to the door as our new teacher arrives, a solid 12 minutes late. I keep my eyes glued to my screen as I overhear him grabbing items from his desk. I momentarily look away and I almost moan when I see him. Brown hair, blue eyes, a slight beard, a chain sitting on top of his black sweatshirt, and plain black pants - he doesn't look a day older than 30. Picking up a marker from his desk and delicately fiddling with the lid, he looks up to face the class.

"Mr. Kennedy is unable to continue teaching you guys, so I'll be filling in for him," he announces, turning around to write his name on the board alongside the topic where we left off. "My name is Mr. Sturniolo, or just Matthew if you can't pronounce it," he half-jokes, a small chuckle escaping from his pink lips. Madi leans toward me, whispering in my ear, "smash." I can't help but chuckle, nudging her with my shoulder. When Matt turns around, his eyes dart into mine, shooting me a disciplinary look. I purse my lips, attempting to contain my smile, and look down, mouthing a small "sorry." He returns to his desk, flicks open his textbook, lands on a page, and then speaks up, "Everyone, go to page 56. We're going to start off where you were all left off with class differences in achievement”.

Throughout the lesson, he does an impressive job at teaching. He even sets up a Google Classroom for all his work and provides a platform for questions if we're confused—something Kennedy could never manage. Matt sends me a few glances, and each time, my face grows hot, causing me to look away first and break the eye contact. Eventually, the lesson concludes, and everyone quickly packs up, ready to leave.

"Alright, everyone, I want you all to finish off the chapter, make notes, and I'm going to upload a short essay question for you to fill out too. I want it done for tomorrow's lesson," he says, people beginning to exit the room, with me and Madi following suit. As I walk out the door, I glance back at him, and our eyes meet. He shoots me a smile, which I quickly return before looking and walking out of the room.

˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚

I let out a frustrated groan, slouching back in my chair and running my hands down my face. I find myself back in my dorm, attempting to tackle this essay, but I’m stuck on my counterargument. I glance at my open laptop, its glow being the only source of light in my room as I anxiously tap my pen against my desk. Why am I so hesitant to ask my teacher for help? Y/n, don't bother him; it's 11 pm. fuck it.

Summoning a bit of courage, I lean forward and compose a message for him, meant for our eyes only. "Hello Mr. Sturniolo, I was wondering how to counterargue in the essay you assigned. Best regards, Y/n." No, no, no. I delete the message and retype, reminding myself that I'm not messaging fucking royalty. The new message reads, "Hi Matt, I'm a bit unsure of how to counterargue in the essay. Thanks, Y/n." I bite my lip before hitting send and then pick up my pen, drumming it against my desk again. I can't help but keep checking if he replies. It's only been two minutes. I mean, it's late. I keep my eyes glued to my screen eagerly until I see my 'delivered' message switch to 'read.' My breath hitches as my left leg shakes, my heel tapping the ground in quick patterns as I see three typing dots.

"Hey Y/n, don't worry about it. Try using the functionalist perspective and theorists like Parsons. I'll send you the page now. Matt." I smile at the message and feel like a cheesy teenage girl, my breath hitching when he sends an image. It's a page from the textbook which he is holding down with his left hand. shit. His large hand looked veiny, and his fingers took up so much space. He had rings on his fingers, excluding his ring and middle finger, making me bite my lip, almost prompting a moan at the idea. No, Y/n, he's your teacher. My eyes moved up his arm to catch a glimpse of the tattoos that were previously hidden under his sweatshirt. I wasn't even focusing on my work anymore. I snap out of my daze and type a little message, hoping to keep the conversation going. "Thank you !!" I send, now biting the end of my pen, smiling to myself. He's quick to start typing back, "Don't worry about it." I stare at the message until my breath hitches once I see him typing again. "Next time, try not to leave my work for the last minute." I softly giggle to myself, looking down at my hands.

I finally get the work done, submitting it online. I climb into bed and scroll through my phone until I fall asleep, feeling a sense of anticipation and excitement about seeing Matt again tomorrow.

Back in class again, I find myself barely able to focus on anything - well, it wasn't even work. Matt had put on some documentary, but my attention was solely fixed on him. What's wrong with me? He's just a good-looking guy, Y/n. A really, really good-looking guy.

"Y/n?" I'm snapped out of my trance by Madi. I look up at her; she's standing up, bag on her shoulder. "Lesson's over. Wanna meet and get some food later?"

I nod, "Yeah, text me," I reply, smiling as I get up and put my headphones back on, playing my music. I walk towards the door until I feel a hand on my arm, turning me around. Confused, I look up, and my confusion softens, feeling my face heat up upon seeing it's Matt. I pull my headphones down around my neck as he smiles at me.

"I was calling your name a few times, but your music's too loud," he chuckles. I giggle back at him, feeling flustered. His eyebrows furrow, and a smirk grows on his face. "Is that 'Covet'? Basement?" he continues, referring to the song from my headphones. I look down at my headphones before looking back up at him, smiling, nodding my head, "Yeah,". This man could not get any more perfect. He bites his lip slightly before leaning against his desk, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Am I in trouble?" I ask, my brows knitting together in worry. "Hm? Oh, no, no," he shakes his head. "Just have to hold you behind a bit and ask you something," he continues.

Welcome to my master list. It will almost be a year since I started writing fanfiction with help and encouragement from @melodygatesauthor, Mel's stories, and art are amazing.

I'm a bit of a quirky bohemian, witchy 30s something female.

I am currently only writing for the Oscar Isaac fandom, but I am hoping to venture further by the end of this year, so I will keep this updated.

The first movie I saw starring Oscar was Inside Llewyn Davis because I loved the ginger cat (I'm a crazy cat lady, and I sometimes include my furball in my works). wait wait wait, what about "Like Father, Like Libby"?? What are your thoughts on THAT dad episode? Especially bc what you said about alador. I cried 😭

This is one of those moments where I meant in my other post TGaMM does a good job of balancing humour with serious tones, but evidently not making it a cheapened moment. Libby is a great character who has visibly grown out of her shell thanks to Molly's influence, and when we see her be passionate we can see/relate to a lot of aspects of her child-like glee. Granted, she is still a kid, but the way her excitement of lost time/potential takes hold of her here in this episode is even something Leah was surprised by. Which makes it very real and relatable!

To briefly pull away from the focus of the episode, I loved the B plot with Molly and Scratch because of the gags and one-liners. One of my favourite tropes in fiction, especially in sitcom series, is a character who is suddenly doing crosswords for the entirety of the episode which basically tees up punchlines and gags. I don't care if it's cheesy, I always find it hilarious. It's a simple way to set up jokes, but TGaMM did great with their deliveries and had me and my sister cackling.

Which is good! As undercutting serious tension can be needed to add levity. I feel as though if I had watched this episode as a kid, a lot of Leah's behaviours would've gone over my head then. But as I am now, seeing how she is, having moments of laughter adds great balance to the main story. And additionally, more moments of Libby and Molly's BFF nature is great: the fact that she knew Molly already messed up but was just playing it off just goes to show how well she knows her friend (I headcanon she asked Molly to put Simon on the phone just to troll her).

Now, the dad.

I love that Leah wasn't disheartened or jealous with Libby's sudden affection for her father. She had discomfort, but mainly because she knows what kind of man Matias really is. Seeing how she subtly places herself in support of her daughter throughout the entire is a great detail in how she is the parent that stayed and truly loved Libby, but also that Libby is aware of her mom's presence. As when the moment happens, she immediately knows she can rely on her mom again.

She just misses her dad.

And that, is wonderful storytelling in the way that not even Libby was aware how much she wanted her father in her life until the opportunity presented itself. I don't think she wanted to become a writer because of him, but I bet that had a small influence in her outlet with her poetry and such. Much of his lack of presence takes a toll and is finally let loose here, which enhances Libby's expectations. She asks her mother if his personality is basically anything like the stereotypical dads she's no doubt read/heard about.

Though I believe even Libby started to suspect something at the moment she met him too, as when her dad gave her a signed copy it felt like she recognized his signature was more general than personalized for her. Seeing that after all the expectations and build up, he turns out to be exactly as Leah suspected, was a gut punch but also very raw. Letting Libby soak in her moment for a bit was nice, but having her come out of it and recognize her mother's value in her life made it all the better.

All in all, a great episode and definitely up there in my top five faves so far.

(P.S.: Matias book series is gonna flop, what kind of publisher decides to make a book into a trilogy after a book is released?)

☾I'm really passionate about psychology and painting. On the weekends or when I'm finished with work I tend to draw on my sketchbook to visualise my next painting while listening to video essays about different types of diagnosis and how they affect the brain and behaviour(my favourite video essays is Fear of forgetting by Clark Elieson, ok but srs it's so good) and my paintings mostly comsist of still life with warm colours

don't expect much to get done

with you being his partner, it's like someone he can share his every thought with

(like an open diary essentially)

when you first met him, he was very pushy

always asking what you're listening to or what you're painting

sometimes likes to grab one side of the earpiece and listen to it beside you

but in the end he too, gets invested in what you're listening to and stays by your side

he'll joke with you back but sometimes he'll get upset

so you'll need to pacify him

preferably with candy

when you both get into deep talks he needs to at least have some form of skinship

either by holding your hand or leaning his head on your shoulder

or both

so if he's upset just sit with him and everything will be okay again

if you were to rank the ikemen games and their characters, how would you rate it?

p.s. bold names are routes i have completed and brackets are unreleased so i rated them based on what i know of them from other routes. i didn’t include villains or genjiden as i haven’t read them. i will continue the rest later.

for me, it goes:

ikemen sengoku (i think the game provides a better experience than the other games; the way that we can see the minute differences between the characters in the beginning and the end. this game provides depth to the character’s relationship with other characters - something that prince doesn’t focus heavily on - and with the mc. )

- Kennyo (current): so i’m not even halfway (i think) and i already live his character). his relationship with ranmaru makes me happy. fun fact: i was supposed to do ranmaru’s route but then noticed it wasn’t released so i decided to do kennyo. i’m happy with my choice - the way his kindness shines through his rough exterior makes him my favourite.

- kanetsugu and keiji. see i can’t pick a fave from them. i love how my top three begin with k. anyway, i love the little smiles kanetsugu let’s out in his route and he was my first route love and i mean the man loved the mc enough to suggest a safe word so he doesn’t harm her. plus, i love his fangs. in a way, he’s similar to kennyo with the whole mysterious, self-deprecating aura and the fact they both looked after a child/children. My heart broke when the child in kanetsugu’s route died. Moving onto Keiji, I love his boisterous attitude and how it was all a facade because you see how comfortable he gets with being himself around the mc. Plus, I really loved the part when he tried to ask her out on a date and I think she invited Ranmaru and Hideyoshi because she thought it was a friendly outing. This was my second route and I loved how this route focused on her being able to protect herself rather than a man protecting her - plus, he always made sure to look after her even when she wasn’t aware (similar to kanetsugu).

- Sasuke. I already loved his character in every other route, I did before his. This may be my comfort route. Except for the besties loving the same person. Other than that, I really loved the aspect of friends to lovers. I usually hate this trope (in a modern au because they always use other characters to get over the other and it’s trash), but the way that you learn tad bits about sasuke like his weak facial muscles and his habit of not knowing how to wink, which makes me laugh every time i read because i just imagine it happening. His relationship with Yukimura is also my favourite bromance. Comfort route, for sure.

Kenshin: I was going to put him above Sasuke but the comfort route triumphed. We all know he becomes a yandere. I love enemies to lovers and although it starts off with strangers to acquaintances? to lovenemy?!?? I would’ve loved to see Kanetsugu in this route because we’d have seen his relationship from Kenshin’s side and I wanted to see how Kanetsugu would react to Kenshin hanging around an enemy woman. That’s what brings it down for me. We don’t see the master-servant? relationship between them. Although, I do love that we get to see the other characters like Shingen etc. Learning about his past actually explains his tendencies and I can see why he acts the way he does. I also love reading about him and his bunnies and my favourite CG ever is the one where he’s laying on her lap.

- Ranmaru: Even though, his route hasn’t been completed, I really do love his character especially after reading a little more of Kennyo’s route. Might be a comfort route like Sasuke.

- Talking about comfort routes. Mitsunari and Ieyasu. Though, I just adore Mitsunari’s route that slight bit more. Mitsunari is the official sweetheart of the Oda side and his inability to understand Ieyasu’s sarcasm and sneakiness is one of my favourite things to read. I love how simple his route is in terms of her caring for him and him not making things harder for her and them just falling in love along the way. Though, she does get kidnapped my Kennyo but we move on. Ieyasu is a wonderful character because his concern shows beneath his sarcastic comments and constant nonchalance. I love how even after he falls in love, he doesn’t change, he just learns to communicate better. Also, his relationship with Mitsunari is one of my favourite things.

- Shingen and Yukimura: Haven’t done either of these routes but from Kenshin’s route and Sasuke’s route, I loved the characters. I figure I know how Yuki’s route will go considering his character and knowing his rival is Sasuke. I do not know enough about Shingen except he loves sweets and flirting with women. But, I feel like he’ll grow on me.

- Kicho: I am in the middle about him. I learnt he hurt MC in Motonari’s route and idk why (I haven’t read that route) so it’s brought him down. I do love the way he seems to acknowledge the further future and wonder what his relationship with MC will look like - when he notices she is from the future or if she tells him. Though, maybe he notices straight away and that is why he gets interested in her.

- Mitsuhide: I haven’t read this route because I am saving his for last. I love his character don’t get me wrong and I’m sure I’ll love his route but his relationship with MC as I’ve seen in event stories etc. wouldn’t be my ideal. Though, I do get why people love him. He just isn’t for me. Anyway, I saved him for last because when I did Nobunaga’s route and it revealed Mitsuhide being a ‘spy’, I wanted to save what he was getting up to last. This is because I did Lancelot first in Revolution and I ruined his secret in every other route. So I want to stay ambiguous.

- Masamune: He was my last route. Idk he wasn’t the worst character for sure but I just was put off by the whole him nearly killing her situation. Like, they get over it but I’m still not. I get why he’s like that though but that’s the only reason he is down here.

- Hideyoshi: Again, he threw me off with the whole sister thing. But I really love his kindness that definitely shows as soon as he trusts her. I appreciate that he doesn’t hurt her or try to kill her even though he doesn’t trust her (although we do have the constant glares for talking back to Nobunaga). I admire and respect his work rate and his willingness to be around Nobunaga. I don’t get how anyone would go near him. All in all, he’s a wonderful character that just needs to stop sister-zoning. At least friend-zone yk.

- Yoshimoto: I believe I have not done a route where it focuses on him so I have no clue about him. Just that he likes art? I believe or just beauty in general and a far relative of Shingen. I’d love to know more about him. Might be my next route.

- Motonari: I was going to pick him as my second route to do ever but I didn’t because I learnt about his character and was just put off. Apparently, he is like Silvio (who I love) but I just can’t seem to find a reason to like him. Hopefully, when I read his route, this will change. However, currently this is my stance.

- Last and definitely least: Nobunaga. He is a weirdo as I see it. In every other route, he basically tells her you’ve got to do this by assigning her to someone. In his route and a few others, he bangs on about her being ‘his lucky charm’ and he literally brings her to a battle because he sees her as a possession. Minus points for the misogynist and I would’ve loved to see more appreciation for Hideyoshi from him.

ikemen prince (this game is lower than sengoku because we don’t see the relationships between the two different groups much. but i do love how the characters do not change they just fall in love. (for me, that’s a good thing because in shows sometimes they’ll change the nature of a person when that is not how reality works). However, this game has the best endings. Currently on Keith.

- ikemen vampire (this game is repetitive as well in the beginning but i feel like we are the brotherhood between. the characters more and we see progress in the relationships between the characters. one other downside is the quickness of them falling in love and how the mc is weaker in understanding her feelings). Started Jean recently and I’m liking it except the getting out of trouble unlike Arthur who didn’t actually bite her and Isaac who actually had a reasonable excuse for biting her.

- ikemen revolution (this game is somewhat repetitive in the beginning especially chapter 1 and 2) and that is what I dislike. Plus, the endings aren’t as great because most of them end with Amon and aren’t as interesting as Ikemen Prince and Swngoku as they are just one chapter for dramatic and romantic. I dislike the Like I said earlier, I did ruin it for myself by doing Lancelot first. Just finished Kyle and starting Loki (I think).

An interesting question for sure, of course all mine are based off of personal opinions and such. So It's best to not push it further as everyone is entitled to their opinions.

So I'll summarize the games themselves: (it is of my own opinion, it doesn't mean I'm wrong or right, as I do try to keep a neutral stance on a lot of things)

As much as I do love IkeRev, it does fall flat for me on some occasions, I've had more pauses and uninstalls on it than I have others. I know you've yet to read IkeVil & IkeGen, but I've found both of their set ups to me, a little more enjoyable than IkePri's and IkeVamp's. (it might just be that I'm starving for slightly darker content akin to a CSI episode- but that's not important)

Of course IkeSen is top for me as it's spaced out, like you said it shows the changes in the characters fairly well as well as their interactions with the MC and with the other characters.

Route-wise for IkeSen, I'd have to rank it via route favorites but-

Kennyo's is the one I'm running back through right now for a second run and his POVs are a treat, this man is beyond thoroughly confused by MC. Kanetsugu might be next for round two because I really did thoroughly enjoyed his route and I think it's just overall because his character is an interesting one. Though one of the reasons Kennyo, Kanetsugu, Yoshimoto, and Mitsuhide's routes are my favorites because there is some good content happening there in regards to Ranmaru. Since as of right now he's the last main route to be released (we're expected to be seeing Kicho's route soon), I can only be sated via events and whatever time he has going in everyone else's routes.

Safe to say that Ranmaru went to being my number 1.

Though Motonari's route is something, it hasn't been that long since I ran through it, his route was surprisingly enjoyable and you can only really get a feel for his character in it (in my opinion of course), it wasn't a bad route. But it does give you some Kicho time in it. Same with Yoshimoto's, I know Kanetsugu has some Kicho time as well. But if you really want your heart stabbed a little, Yoshimoto's route is def the way to go.

IkePri, I love the premise for it. I love how they just take the fairytale and rehash it in a way that makes it charming, though it feels a lot like some things (IkeVamp does it too, but is worse than IkePri) tend to get forgotten for a short while. I agree that the endings are better, like IkeSen it def helps that they add more to the endings instead of doing a single chapter ending like IkeVamp & IkeRev.

I unfortunately only have four that I really loved personally, I might actually have to go back through the other routes, though right now I'm taking a reading break on IkePri at the moment, Rio's route is the only one I have not read yet, sans Gilbert whose route has yet to be released.

With IkeVamp, I did find a lot of its stuff all over, but I still love it to pieces. Of course my Top 5 routes being reflective is rather interesting in on itself. Dazai's route just always hits me hard and I think part of it just hits a little too close to home for me, although I didn't list it for IkeSen since I had so many favorites, Keiji's route did hit me fairly hard since that was also relatively close to home for me. But Dazai's route really was enjoyable and I do recommend that one, Arthur's was a good one, especially after revisiting it 2 years later and his was fun. His love by fans is well deserved, largely because the interactions felt close to what I personally do with my friends (namely the playful friendly quips)

I'm just extremely bias to Faust, Charles, and Vlad though. But there's were enjoyable to me. Especially after reading their side-stories too. I'm mid-process of getting Dazai's.

Lastly for IkeRev, I do have a special fondness for it, but I did say it was the one I paused and uninstalled a lot. Parts of it just didn't latch on to me the same way the others did and it might largely be because I've never actually been the biggest fan of Alice in Wonderland or anything themed to it. Parts of it was strong, I will give it that, but other parts of it were... not so strong. IkeVamp, IkePri, and IkeSen do give you a little insight as to what portion they're next to or not. IkeRev really didn't and just separated it via sequels and main stories. IF there is a way to tell, I would love if someone could tell me or show me the indicators cause I cannot find it on the app at all. But I did have some favorite rights, and yes. I also agree with Lancelot, if you do his route then it does kind of spoil things.

I'm partly sick so my brain is all jumbled and the whole response is rather lengthy overall and I worry over the length of the ask and people coming at me. Which is valid and fair. But but but! That's what I can think to share, there's a lot of info I have sorted up in my head, some of it doesn't come naturally right away. Though I am in the process of making notes for IkeSen for each of the suitors, (except for Hideyoshi cause I forgot to, and it was during a collection event and I'm trying to keep my suitor keys stocked up since they're hard to get 😭😭😭😭)

The Romance was the Worst Part

I start this by saying I really did not like Glyndon and Killian's relationship and they were definitely two of the most boring characters Kent has ever written. The only times I truly enjoyed God of Malice was when these two characters were with other characters instead of together.

Lets briefly touch on the boring relationship first. It was so below average. I don't care that an "unfeeling" Killian feels so much when it comes to Glyndon, I just don't see the love between them. Please, I did not even finish Aurora and Jonathan's duology and I can see the love they have for each other. The way Glyndon and Killian started out and then how their relationship progressed just was not done well enough for me to connect to them as a couple.

However, I do have a feeling that was because of how mundane both Glyndon and Killian were. There was really nothing spectacular about these two, be it together, with friends or individually. Well, Glyndon was definitely more boring and annoying than Killian. With Glyndon, all I got was how whiny she was and girl, I know you're young but goodness gracious, I was beyond frustrated when she blasted off at Landon. Yes, maybe Landon was not a good person but even she herself knew Landon's an unhinged overprotective older brother. Yet when she was going off on Landon? I cannot stand her hypocrisy. She has made the comparison between Killian and Landon early on in the book so how dare she suddenly act as if the dude she loves was not equally as horrible as her brother?

At least with Killian, even when he was at odds with Gareth or constantly being mean to Nikolai, he's actually a sweetheart to his family. I absolutely loved every single scene with Killian and Mia in it, why have I not seen everybody talk about how endearing these two are when they are together?

Kent is known to be a dark romance author but ever since I've started reading her books, I haven't thought her dark romance was dark. Sure, she likes to write up male characters with borderline abuse tendency into their sexual kinks, she likes to give dark or traumatic pasts to her characters but I never thought they were that dark. Except, maybe when Aiden constantly tried pushing himself onto Elsa despite her half-assed "objections", even then I did not think it was dark, I just thought it was irritating. However, reading God of Malice was the first time I thought, there she is, the dark romance author. Kent wrote Killian's darkness really well, so well that when I was first getting acquainted to this character, I actually was a little fidgety with him. Maybe, in another universe, I would have liked Killian more if his relationship was with another person or at least if Glyndon was more interesting and less whiny.

I may have plenty of complains about God of Malice but at the end of the day, I didn't actually hate the reading experience. Like I said, anytime they were not just by themselves, I was having a great time reading.

P.S.: Asher's chapter was by far my favourite chapter in this book.

i have two main tips! but pls note that these tips are personal because this is how my blog grew and i dont wanna make you think theres only one way to grow ur writing blog yk?

!! write something from a popular genre + write something that gets you interacting with your readers

1. fluff and smut are easily one of the popular genres in fanfics and thats because theres so much flexibility in them!! theres so much headcanons and scenarios that fit so well with the characters ykk????

like us readers are genuinely interested in intimacy so u can see why fluff and smut are popular! theres something insanely beautiful in reading about your favourite character loving you in an honest and carnal way like ughhh we yearn and we crave and we luv so much!!!

i personally love these genres because i project so much on them shajsj im so so glad that my readers and followers allow me and even enjoy these works teeheee <333

2. my blog grew and expanded because of how we break. the first part of hwb was short so i wasnt even expecting people in my dms/asks wanting a pt 02 or clarification but when i started answering them, theres just an instant connection between me and my lovelies

like we’re all simping for one man yk so theres already that connection but because i was bouncing around ideas with my readers, we all cultivated hwb into something more than a oneshot!!

hwb continues to be one of my dearest works and thats because of how much my readers were having fun interacting with my work AND ME!!!!

im not saying that you should start a series right away bc ik how exhausting it could be to maintain a series, but series often allow writers and readers to really come together. and even though one is a creator and one is a spectator, because theres that connection of us just enjoying a work/character together, it feels more personal yk?

i strive for personal connection so when hwb offered me this love, i was excitable and uncontainable!! until now, hwb resonates to me because of how much work and love and connection was shared during the writing time

!! of course the most important thing is youre having fun with writing!! writing is like offering a part of yourself to your readers so having fun in what you do is integral <33

I haven't sent my usual play-by-play rants this time XD That chapter was to be digested in silence fr🧘‍♀️

A 10k word count is no joke so firstly, thank you for deciding to share this story with the fam <3 I can't wrap my head around the fact that there was supposed to be more, but you opted to make it a different chapter

So, dearest darling, I just wanted to say:

Each fic you do, the thing I find most exciting is the creative ways you dodge using 'y/n'. Let me tell you, I live for it. Like with the bodyguard au you decide to describe how he talks to mc instead of just simply slapping 'y/n' onto the sentence and calling it a day... and that just does it for me.

For this specific chapter I love how you used Jisung's and Hyunie's characters. Han starting the chapter literally made me go :( Partially bc he doesn't know his besties sleep in the same bed and have been doing so for the past 4 years. I wonder if they ever tell him...

With Hyunjin, ugh the character developed queen you are. Especially the part where mc is making sure he eats that cupcake ("You eat! You eat!"~Han Jisung) Tbh this chapter is so angsty bc yet again I go 😔 Sure, mc's life is basically hell but she has Felix... Who does Hyunjin have? :(((( I'm worried about him, does he have anyone he can rely on? :(

I audibly yelled when Felix caught mc with her hand in her pants 💀💀💀💀💀💀 I CACKLED! It was so funny to me like why couldn't a homegirl think of doing it under the covers😭😭??? Or in another bathroom of that humongous house

This brings me to the humanness of the chapter. A moment of silence for your ever-impeccable use of imagery🙇‍♀️ They're just kids. They really are just a boy and a girl at the end of the day. When Felix leaned over to peck her forehead I genuinely stopped reading for a second. The way he handles her so gently (most of the time hehe), coupled with the way she was counting the seconds.... Like darling be fr😭 How will I ever move on from this fic? I loved every description of how she clung to him because she didn't really know how else to deal with what she's feeling. And for heaven's sake Felix, KISS HER ALREADY! I love how I'm saying this knowing he can't. Ooh which reminds me, i loved the part where you said that crossing that line would have to be intentional. No not-so-accidental hanky panky here hah. For all the cliches that are allowed to slide in fanfiction, I once again love how you simply refuse to be ordinary.

Lastly, onto the smut hehe ;) The tension was everything to me. The build up was superb. All the times he rushed to the bathroom 😭😭✋ My favourite part was when he asked mc if Hyunjin had kissed her. I know that part wasn't steamy but if I was mc that would have told me all I need to know ✋ Anyways, you ate up every fic and it's author's pet with that mutual mast******** I would've physically died. The way you described everything fbdhgfjfjtjidbm

Separate sub-point for this bc the way SHE PUT HER HAND IN HIS MOUTH

Speaking of which, how did you find the movie? Personally, even when the plot was a bit bland, Lippmann's acting definitely saved the show. Although there was one part where he did play the violin... I could feel Silver judging his violin playing-acting very heavily. To me it looked like he did a good job, but I can't say the same for Silver. lmao sorry Lippmann

Indeed. Silver had said that one of her favourite composers was Chopin, because while he had a life full of sorrow, his music is truly one of the most beautiful that I have ever heard. If played correctly, you could close your eyes and envision what Chopin had went through. Such a pity that he passed away at the age of 39.

And it's painfully obvious how low quality your jokes are ahaha pianoman's so savage. Sometimes I wonder if I have to hire a tutor to teach you the beauty of pickup lines and jokes, but I see that you're beyond hope now lmao /j.

Silver's hand is getting better, although she still insists practicing piano with her other hand. I tried to get her to rest, but goodness gracious this girl just never wants to stop practising. I guess she just wants to get her daily 40 hours in. But I do wish sometimes she'll take a break and not overwork herself.

speaking of, i think the movie was decent at best. they could've made a better plot and executed the climax better. but the choice of casting was great. i feel like the actors really gave it their all to play their characters, especially lippmann. well, actually, i was mostly distracted by his acting throughout the movie. but please don't tell him that- and yeah! i saw that one violin scene. he did an amazing job, but i've been looking at some violin performances since then, and i agree with silver. thinking back, lippmann's scene seemed a teeny tiny bit unnatural. but i get this. playing a musician's role can be very challenging, silver must know this better than me.

oh, chopin? silver gave me some classical piece recommendations, and i remember some of them being chopin's works. i ought to look further into them. moreover since it's her favorite composer. and i agree. i briefly read his biography, and his life was not exactly the most happy one. i find it amazing how he could create phenomenal works nevertheless.

AHH SHUSHH YOU, otherwise i'll start pestering you with my "low quality jokes" as you like to say it /lmaoo that's right, maybe if i incorporate expensive things to my jokes, they won't be "low quality" anymore. today, i'll give you this: i've seen some people having this animal as pets: axolotls, quite exquisite. now what do you call an expensive axolotl?

I remember the day I started feeling uncomfortable... It was an odd feeling... But not one I knew of, it was like happiness, scared and nervous... It was going to be the last day of 3 days hanging with you, I couldn't wait for the movie on June 25th.

We Went shopping and you made. The boring fun, but then in the movie the nightmare started....

I remember you said it has to get worse to get better, and the haunting words are you okay?

I tried to be brave so I lied...

It was painful, to feel all the emotions at once, I was in breakdown...

I ran, from everything... When I closed my eyes I could only feel the pain, but I could feel you telling me everything would be okay.

I expected I was about to fall to the ground, I thought I was about to die...

I tried to rebuild my life but none of the professions seemed to be able to help me when I asked for help...

I thought about reaching out to you but it didn't feel right, then I remembered your pray flags from Nepal and Catlain...

I hung on because If I expected to die it will come soon enough eventually... I went to, College (university) and before I knew it I would be diagnosed with autism but I kept hanging on because I told people I've had worse, no one to ask the worse, I would of said breaking my own heart, not knowing you still cared for me.

When I was starting to finally get back to myself the truma would come back, 3 dicks in a bar, and I remember hearing you say to run, so I did...

- speaking of wanderer, his clothes' palette matches perfectly that of the famous italian soccer team of naples. this has led to everyone making memes of scara with naples' scarves and shirts and even soccer themed rooms and the meme that scaramouche was the new member of naples got so out of hand that some non genshin players actually started believing naples had gotten a new soccer player. scara has since been nominated an honorary napolitan by the community, which is even more hilarious bc the stereotypical napolitan is the farthest thing away from scara you could possibly think about
