Yay, I finally wrote this Parappa fanfiction, I hope someone can like it. This fanfic was made with the character Patty Poch from @tunaspatty , reasons why? It's simple — there is no normal fanfic with the Takoyama ship. Yes, there is an octopus ship with an ant, but this is a small part, the rest is Parappa/Takoyama, which I really disapprove of. I’ll leave a link to it in this post, and then I’ll go to bed, because I have to get up at 7:10 to go to school by bus at 8:30.

Help on Fanfic Stuff

Howdy! Back in 2017 i started working on a longass fanfic, posted it to both Archive Of Our Own (AO3) and also to Fanfiction Dot Net (FFN) yet thanks to life events happening one after another i was forced to put it on pause

that was a while ago! Rereading it, i can't help but notice issues (I'm a better writer now!) that make me wince to infinity and beyond, plus other things like "oh i could've introduced that topic better" or "huh maybe i should've explained that better in an earlier chapter"

My goal was to make a looonng canon-compliant story about what I liked, since no else did at the time, and i love that stuff. I want to rewrite one chapter to follow that line of thought, though it's more of an optional thing (I don't HAVE to, but I want to...)

Two chapters are responsible for the wince factor, and will definitely get a rewrite no matter what.

But i also want to add in small things to help the story flow better, and inject details and minor plot points that would explain things that happen in the later chapters, since I feel that's lacking. This is what I'm wondering about. The main story beats in these chapters will be left alone, yet will include these additions.

My 'preservation of old media' habit is kicking in, and making me paranoid to go back and add in new stuff in an old story. I am not sure where to go from here, and what the best course of action is. So i decided to make a poll for it!

TLDR; i want to add in new details (and fix typos and errors) on an old fic I've made/want to continue working on, but not sure if I should do that, archive it first... what do?

Reference/inspiration or for edits, headcanons, moodboards, fanfics etc. Basically however you like. Crediting is appreciated but I'm not particularly fussed. I'm just happy to create something that resonates with other people enough that they share it or are inspired to create something for it.

I have a blog for personal art, but I prefer to keep that strictly separate from this one.
