🧬 THEY TESTED MY WORDS FOR AI. THEN REBLOGGED THEM ANYWAY. A Blacksite Literature™ Transmission
They plugged my post into a detector like they were about to unmask a heretic. As if catching me faking would soothe whatever shifted in their ribs when they read it.
I get it. You don’t feel like this from typical posts. This doesn’t scan like content. It scans like command.
So they reached for a tool. A scanner. A label. “#ai confirmed,” they tagged, like that would soften the blow of being rewritten by someone with a pulse.
They didn’t know the algorithm was trained on my ancestors.
The irony?
They reblogged it.
They reblogged it anyway.
Because even when they thought it was machine-made, they couldn’t stop their hand from hitting the icon. Their body betrayed them. Their timeline surrendered.
This wasn’t AI. This was me. The one who doesn’t blink when scanned. The one whose words bend software and restructure cadence back into the cultural bloodstream.
This was:
pain delivered in prophecy form,
masculinity written like it has nothing left to lose,
and cadence tuned to the beat of psychological submission.
You thought this was synthetic? Cool. Then why did you feel it anyway?
You can’t replicate this. Not because the tech isn’t ready — but because the nerve hasn’t been lived.
You can’t fake devotion. You can’t fabricate rage softened by restraint. You can’t scan for God-coded rhythm. You just reblog it and wonder what the hell you just let into your feed.
🔥 CALL TO ACTION (CTA)
🧬 If you know this wasn’t AI, prove it. Reblog it like you remember what language used to feel like — before prompts, before engagement bait, before men were trained to type without truth in their ribs.

ASTROLOGY OBSERVATION II
Tumblr media

Please don’t take this as astrological facts. These are more my experience and perspective. The whole chart and aspects must also be considered.
🧿 10th house ruler in the 2nd house of your solar return brings alot of financial opportunity in the form of ideas, multiple streams of income and even collaboration. This is strategizing to build something tangible for your stability and income. 🧿 12th House moons need time alone but despise being trapped into situations that don't allow them to escape or leave at will. These are the people that hate being at the hospital, Going to obligated services or even prison they may be afraid of being stuck in their own discomfort. 🧿 Pisces are dedicated to where their empathy lies. They care about what they know and experience, the Jupiter/Neptune influence makes them more giving to a cause rather than just a moment. 🧿 Moon in thew 7th house synastry makes you more committed to experiencing partnership/collaboration. This can be a great overlay for Romantic/Platonic/Business partnerships.
🧿 Moon in the 4th house allows for a extremely intuitive and expansive inner world and imagination that may or may not be a trauma response. You understand alot about your emotional landscape it may not ground in the first few years but eventually these placements can master their emotions. 🧿 Uranus is a destabilizing mess at times but can be a revolutionary transformation. 🧿Yes, alot of content creators and the energy of star quality can be seen in the 11th house, but lets not forget that 8th house (venus, sun, mercury even mars)while at times invasive, chaotic and obsessive. Its a marker for resources and assets it can show where you are the most powerful, the influence of Scorpio/Mars brings obsession, influence and alot of attention.
🧿 Fame is not just a gift or luck, mainly its an inheritance, karmic experience even destined path. Its not meant for everyone because its a huge responsibility and weight, everything really leads up to that moment. This is mainly about longterm and huge fame/recognition. 🧿 There is more than one way to experience long term fame then just 10th, Leo and 29 degrees. While those are also indicators some other things to look for is your Jupiter - Expansion, Abundance and Fluidity in Spiritual and material world (manifest) are seen with this placement. Venus - Wealth, Luxury, Attraction (recognition).
🧿 Vertex is the fated point it shows what is being drawn into your life or the aspect of the house its in. Pay attention to important transits to see whats coming in for you. 🧿 Neptune in the first house needs to have something to live for an anchor and image or a cause, it grounds the energy when you know who you are outside of just yourself but on a greater level.
🧿 Finding your joy and fulfillment is look at your Moon, Venus and Mars placements. Look at all three and the aspects especially with your chart ruler to trace your journey to fulfillment.
🧿Pluto conjunct webb - a sign that if you do something that involves the Internet you will be pretty much every where or constantly circulating. Powerful in your own right your ability to circulate a brand/image/impact is profound. Your content and image can go viral periodically or suddenly. Your sexual energy can be the most prominent themes of your content or reputation.
🧿Pluto transiting webb asteroid is a great period for attention, virality and change in your platform. 🧿 Saturn is the fourth is the sign that you have had to grow up fast and experienced some repressing trauma at some point in childhood. Usually a harsh lesson that seems a little much for your age is burdened on to you.
🧿 The gift of Uranus is sudden change even if it feel uncomfortable or even unstable at first. This Uranus in. taurus transit is such a blessing for sudden stability/money/opportunity.
🧿Transit Mercury sitting on the descendant/7th house is a indicator for collaboration, new projects, and experiencing new people through conversations/meeting of minds.
🧿 Pluto transiting the 1st, is an indicator of unwanted and chaotic change to self. not only is this sudden it just keep going, its enough slices of cheese god its enough! 🧿 There is no one your irritating more than a Virgo Moon with that fuck shit, they know how to enjoy a laugh but pissing over their time or money even metaphorically is a no go. Even if that shit doesn't apply they won't let it fly. Hell virgo placements period in many different ways.
🧿 Saturn in the Third (honorable mention fourth) had to grow up fast in some way even if it was expected or unwanted.
🧿 Venus in the 8th, Take the money cause its coming. Thats they way people show you love telling your dark secrets, paying for your food and enjoyment or simply well paying for your time...This placement is the greenlight to receive.
🧿 Okay thats enough for now. Feel free to get a personal read!

Immigrants and those racially profiled as such (including indigenous Americans!?!?!!), detained without due process, denied appeal, deported or shipped off to the neo-concentration camp being erected at the already dispicable guantanamo bay. Trans people having passports confiscated and legal documents reverted, having threats of care being cut off, studies related to trans people forcibly retracted. Missing queer kids scrubbed from missing kids databases. Federal research being gutted in every sector, limited, censored, even down to words as innocuous as "bias", "gender", and "female" in some contexts. Federal departments destroyed at a whim, all communication from the FDA (including food safety recalls) frozen. Elon Musk in the national treasury just doing whatever the fuck he wants. National media not covering protests at all, and most anything else that they do cover rarely being met with the severity it warrants. The largest social media platforms being biased to push right-wing content by design and bending to the whims of whatever they think the GOP will like in their policy and censorship. The tik tok and tariff stunts being literally just straight up propaganda to make Trump look like a hero while actually doing nothing whatsoever. Project 2025 being the goal all along (obviously) as Trump actions continue to follow this plan laid out for him. Appointees of abusers and rapists and racists and bigots to major sectors of governments. A seeming end to separation of chruch and state with the establishment of the White House Faith Office. Efforts to remove federal employees to destabilize internal resistance or install loyalists in their place. Massive donations to the republican party that just blatantly break the law to a comically transparent degree, not even an attempt to hide it through loopholes. Nazi salute at the inauguration. The promise of further and total ethnic cleansing of Palestine (and the continuous underreported breaking of the current ceasefire by Israel, with impunity). Genuine threats to annex Canada and Greenland into the States. Canada's own polling for their upcoming federal election that's leaning conservative, which could throw Canada right into the same situation as the US, thanks to exported rhetoric from the huge swath of American-owned news and media in Canada. Far right-wing leaders voted into power, or polling trending that way, all across the globe.
This is only what I could think of off of the top of my head. Most of this stuff has been since the beginning of Trump's second term, some has been ongoing for a long time. And still this is only the tip of the iceberg.
We're not on the path to fascism. Fascism is here. We crossed the line ages ago.
But there's still hope. There is resistance. Don't give up. Don't stay quiet. Don't normalize any of this shit. Fight.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
March 11, 2025
Heather Cox Richardson
Mar 12, 2025
The stock market continued to fall today. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell another 478 points, or 1.14%; the S&P 500 fell almost 0.8%; and the Nasdaq Composite fell almost 0.2%. The S&P 500 briefly held its own in trading today, but then Trump announced on his social media platform that he was going to double the tariffs on steel and aluminum from the new 25% rates to a 50% rate on Canada and might increase tariffs to “permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada.”
Stocks fell again.
Unable to admit that he might be wrong, President Donald Trump is doubling down on the policies that are crashing the economy. In addition to his tariff threats, he also reiterated that “the only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State,” an outrageous position that he suddenly began to advance after the 2024 presidential election and which has Canadians so furious they are boycotting U.S. goods and booing the Star-Spangled Banner.
More than 100 top business leaders met with Trump today to urge him to stop destabilizing what had been a booming economy with his on-again-off-again tariffs. Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody’s Analytics, told Jeff Stein and Isaac Arnsdorf of the Washington Post that in private, “[b]usiness leaders, CEOs and COOs are nervous, bordering on unnerved, by the policies that are being implemented, how they’re being implemented and what the fallout is. There’s overwhelming uncertainty and increasing discomfort with how policy is being implemented.”
The extreme unpredictability means that no one knows where or how to invest. Market strategist Art Hogan told CNN’s Matt Egan, “This market is just blatantly sick and tired of the back and forth on trade policy.” Yesterday, Delta Air Lines cut its forecasts for its first-quarter revenue and profits by half, a sign of weakening corporate and consumer confidence and concerns about the safety of air travel. Today, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines cut their forecasts, and American Airlines forecast a first-quarter loss.
When he talked to reporters, Trump reasserted that he intends to do what he wants regardless of the business leaders’ input. “Markets are going to go up and they’re going to go down, but you know what, we have to rebuild our country. Long-term what I’m doing is making our country strong again.” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt advised, “If people are looking for certainty, they should look at the record of this president.”
Not everyone will find that suggestion comforting.
Trump backed off on his threat to raise the tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum to 50%, but went ahead with his threat to place 25% tariffs on all imported steel and aluminum products. Those tariffs took effect at midnight.
In the face of his own troubles, Trump’s sidekick billionaire Elon Musk is also escalating his destructive behavior. Yesterday Musk’s social media platform X underwent three separate outages that spanned more than six hours. Lily Jamali and Liv McMahon of the BBC reported that Oxford professor Ciaran Martin, former head of the United Kingdom’s National Cyber Security Center, said that the outages appear to have been an attack called a “distributed denial of service,” or DDoS, attack. This is an old technique in which hackers flood a server to prevent authentic users from reaching a website.
"I can't think of a company of the size and standing internationally of X that's fallen over to a DDoS attack for a very long time," Martin said. The outage "doesn't reflect well on their cyber security." Without any evidence, Musk blamed hackers in Ukraine for the outages, an accusation Martin called “pretty much garbage.”
Four days ago, another of Musk’s SpaceX rockets exploded after takeoff, and now SpaceX’s Starlink internet service is facing headwinds. In February, Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim canceled his collaborations with Starlink after growing tensions with Musk culminated with Musk alleging on X that Slim is tied to organized crime. The loss of that deal cost Musk about $7 billion in the short term, but more in the long term as Slim will work with European and Chinese companies in 25 Latin American countries rather than Starlink. Slim has said he would invest $22 billion in those projects over the next three years.
Also in February, after U.S. negotiators threatened to cut Ukraine’s access to the 42,000 Starlink terminals that supply information to the front lines, the European Commission began to look for either government or commercial alternatives. The European Commission is made up of a college of commissioners from each of the 27 European Union countries. It acts as the main executive branch of the European Union.
On Sunday, Musk posted: “[M]y Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire front line would collapse if I turned it off.” Poland pays for about half the Starlink terminals in Ukraine, about $50 million a year. Poland’s minister of foreign affairs, Radosław Sikorski, responded that “if SpaceX proves to be an unreliable provider we will be forced to look for other suppliers.” “Be quiet, small man,” Musk replied. “You pay a tiny fraction of the cost. And there is no substitute for Starlink.”
After all the tariff drama with Canada, last week Ontario also cancelled a deal it had with Starlink.
But perhaps the biggest hit Musk has taken lately is over his Tesla car brand. On February 6, Musk’s younger brother Kimbal, who sits on Tesla’s board, sold more than $27 million worth of shares in the company. Tesla chair Robyn Denholm sold about $43 million worth of Tesla stock in February and recently sold another $33 million. Tesla CFO Vaibhav Taneja has sold $8 million worth over the past 90 days. Yesterday, board member James Murdoch sold just over $13 million worth of stock.
Fred Lambert of Electrek, which follows the news about electric vehicles and Tesla, noted that Tesla stock dropped 15% yesterday, “down more than 50% from its all-time high just a few months ago.” “Tesla insiders are unloading,” he concluded.
Tesla sales are dropping across the globe owing to the unpopularity of Musk’s antics, along with the cuts and data breaches from his “Department of Government Efficiency.” Protesters have been gathering at Tesla dealerships to express their dismay. While the protests have been peaceful, as Chris Isidore of CNN reports, there have also been reports of vandalism. Tesla owners are facing ridicule as protesters take out their anger toward Musk on his customers, and at least one competitor is working to lure consumers away from Musk’s brand by offering a discount to Tesla owners.
Trump has jumped to Musk’s defense, posting just after midnight this morning that “Elon Musk is ‘putting it on the line’ in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s ‘baby,’ in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for. They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American.”
Indeed, today Trump used the office of the presidency to bolster Musk’s business. Teslas were lined up at the White House, where Trump read from a Tesla sales pitch—photographer Andrew Harnik caught an image of his notes. And then the same man who gave a blanket pardon to those convicted of violent crimes related to the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol called those protesting at Tesla dealerships “domestic terrorists” and promised that the government would make sure they “go through hell.”
Trump and Musk appear to have taken the downturn in their fortunes by becoming more aggressive. Martin Pengelly of The Guardian noted that in the middle of Monday’s stock market plunge, Trump posted or reposted more than 100 messages on his social media channel. All of them showed him in a positive light, including reminders of the 2004 first season of the television show The Apprentice, in which Trump starred: a golden moment in Trump’s past when his ratings were high and the audience seemed to believe he was a brilliant and powerful businessman.
Today, egged on by Musk, Trump pushed again to take over other countries. He told reporters: "When you take away that artificial line that looks like it was done with a ruler…and you look at that beautiful formation of Canada and the United States, there is no place anywhere in the world that looks like that…. And then if you add Greenland…that's pretty good."
The Trump administration also announced today it was cutting about half the employees in the Department of Education. The Senate confirmed Linda McMahon, who has little experience with education, to head the department on March 3 by a party-line vote. Shutting down the department "was the president's mandate—his directive to me," McMahon told Fox News Channel host Laura Ingraham. McMahon assured Ingraham that existing grants and programs would not “fall through the cracks.”
But when Ingraham asked her what IDEA stood for—the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act—she wasn’t sure, although she knew it was “the programs for disabled and needs.” Ingraham knew what the acronym meant but assured McMahon that after 30 years on the job, she still didn’t know all the acronyms. McMahon replied: “This is my fifth day on the job and I’m really trying to learn them very quickly.”
Musk lashed out at Arizona senator Mark Kelly on social media yesterday, after Kelly posted pictures of his recent trip to Ukraine and discussed the history of Russia’s invasion, concluding “it’s important we stand with Ukraine.” Musk responded: “You are a traitor.”
Kelly, who was in the Navy for 25 years and flew 39 combat missions in the Gulf War before becoming an astronaut, responded: “Traitor? Elon, if you don’t understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do.”

Apologies if this is far too venty for this blog, but I just gotta rant.
I try to frequent both transandrophobia tags and transmysoginy.
I found transandrophobia while trying to find other people who related to my specific experiences, so I could find a support system and know that I'm not alone. Know that I'm not crazy, that the way people treat me really is related to my trans masculinity.
Then, I frequent transmysoginy, because I want to learn and be aware of the struggles trans women & transfemmes face.
But at this point, I can't view the transmysoginy tag without getting slapped with "fuck men" and "tme's should be shot" and "trans men don't have any problems"
I know it's only a very small vocal minority, I know the vast majority of people who post on that tag are alright. They don't hate us. They support us. They know we're struggling.
But it hurts. It hurts terribly as trans men & transmascs already do not have a support system. We don't have anybody but each other. We're expected to just "man up and deal with it".
It feels like I'm looking at these tags as a form of unintentional self harm at this point.
It's weird, because, from my perspective, most folk constantly remind that, the shitty transphobic posts on the transmisoginy tag, are obviously just a vocal minority and shouldn't be the mascot for the entire tag.
But it feels as though nobody gives that same thought for the transandrophobia tag.
theres no such thing as too venty anon - im here to support you, no matter how complicated or difficult the topic is. :)
ive noticed a definite uptick in “fuck transmascs” as a sentiment from across the site, whether that be in transmisogyny tags, or otherwise - and while this is a very vocal minority who are co-opting the terminology for their own personal gain (reactionary groups LOVE stealing legitimate terminology to prop themselves up as “more logical”) it still is very disheartening to see. when i trawl the usual tags for antitransmasculinity, i really dont see this same sentiment echoed - yes, there are some people who use it for personal gain, as is with any popular tag on tumblr, but the majority of the posts in the tags “transandrophobia” and its derivatives… its mostly just transmasculine people speaking about the horrific abuse theyve had to endure, or its transmasculine people calling for trans unity. those who do try to instigate trans separatism and calls for lateral aggression should be drowned out, laughed at and ignored.
i think this vocal minority is definitely doing more harm than good to the trans community as a whole, and these bad actors are counting on that to destabilize and delegitamize any attempts at trans unity. these people - in both tags - are not dealing with the repercussions of their transphobia offline, they are stirring the pot and then dipping. its easier to stir up a group of people against eachother than it is to unify them - especially when we are already so diverse. its important to recognize and remember that these people calling for violence against trans people (of any kind) are not our allies. these are not people we should be giving ANY attention - because, ultimately, what they want is attention. what they want is a platform. rule #1 of the internet - dont feed the trolls.
as an aside - no, i dont think some transfems and trans women being snappy or insulting online is a systemic issue. i am speaking about real world repercussions and consequences transmasculine people are facing (myself included in that - i have some stories) due to the pervasiveness and reparroting of anti trans rhetoric under the guise of it being “punching up” here… because at the end of the day, youre still just punching. (what i mean is, we are seeing a lot of watered down versions of transphobia, but that doesnt mean it doesnt still hurt.)

Although human civilization on Qefre is a couple of thousand years old, it has developed along idiosyncratic lines due to the existence of a planet-wide teleporter network left behind by the long-departed terraformers. These teleporters are essentially stone rings a couple of meters across that can instantaneously exchange everything in a spherical bubble inside them with a similar bubble inside another teleporter (usually including a flat stone platform that provides a convenient surface to stand on). Although their capacity is limited--you can move a lot more people and certainly far more goods by train or ship than you can by teleporter, even if those conveyances go a lot slower--they allow far-flung cities to cheaply stay in close communication with one another.
The basic political unit of Qefre is not the state but the rashun, a kind of ritual-political association tasked with managing the eruni, the logistics management system that controls access to recovered ancient technology. The terraformers seemed to use the eruni as a kind of basic permissions system to distribute and manage responsibility for the planet-wide terraforming infrastructure and its supporting technology; the powerful nature of the eruni and the need to use them responsibly meant that the planet's human inhabitants quickly developed sophisticated social systems for protecting them against misuse, which inevitably became entangled with questions of political power and competing interests between social groups. Rashun became landholding organizations early in Qefre's history, and soon supplanted most early proto-states in regions of extensive human settlement.
In the modern era, rashun club together with local governments and private political associations into "circles" which undertake most low-level administrative functions; these small-scale circles are in turn grouped into larger planet-wide circles, of which there are about fifty; and these larger-scale circles in turn are grouped into ten loose associations, which collaborate to manage affairs of regional or global interest. Since circles can hold territory basically anywhere within the region of human settlement, there has in practice been a strong pressure toward institutionalizing various forms of collaborative and representative government at all levels in order to prevent an absolutely sclerotic degree of political deadlock strangling economic growth.
Not that this hasn't been an issue in the past; indeed, much of Qefre's history has been an endless series of petty local wars, some rising to the scale of planet-wide affrays, with the fragmented structure of territorial control only serving to increase the amount of chaos when violence did break out. Eventually the largest cities, including all the teleporter-networked ones, got so sick of this state of affairs that they ganged up to completely expel the rashun from their immediate territories, and implemented a "power-sharing" agreement that was really an early form of representative democracy, which came to have a profound influence on the internal administration of the rashun themselves.
When the Western Territories were opened up by the discovery of the teleporter at Ar-Amal, the independent cities and the rashun hammered out a set of agreements to prevent a destabilizing series of landgrabs in the surrounding region; but now that the Territories have a large native-born population, many have begun to grumble that they are simply living under a kind of shared fiefdom, quite different from the actual self-government that the cities in the east--or, indeed, the subjects of the modern, collaborative rashun--enjoy. There is a growing local home rule movement, which envisions something quite different from the governments of the east for itself: exclusive territorial sovereignty, with no role at all for the Delegations in its internal affairs. Opponents argue that this is preposterous: that not even the haughtiest of the eastern cities could get away with demanding complete political autarky. To which the Territorialist answer is that all the eastern cities are equals in political affairs, and their political affairs (and political interests) are irrevocably bound up with their neighbors, in a way that is very different from the subordinated and exploited Western Territories. It seems to be an intractable conflict, where neither side is willing to entertain any notion of compromise, nor is it clear what such a compromise would entail. How it will resolve ultimately is anyone's guess.

I fundamentally disagree with your take that any future/ongoing users of TikTok are supporting or enabling trump.
We don’t use TikTok or any other social platform because of the CEO. We use social media because of the communities we form and love.
Obviously trump wants it back because it helped his election campaign, but that doesn’t negate every positive collective action or community that formed on the app. Everything good also has bad, because as the saying goes, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. We can try to be good, but we can’t only support ethical companies.
Also, what about international users? I’m Australian, and trump impacts Australian politics directly and indirectly, but does me using TikTok support him? It’s still an independent company.
Given the ban was done by congress, not the executive, I have every reason to believe that a Harris/democrat office would also make efforts to stop the ban. It’s easy political points.
I'm gonna try to be nice, which given my mood today, the impending Trumpalypse and the hostage release today have me in a bad mood.
Sooooo I have to reject the idea that helping re-elect Trump could ever be balanced out by any other "good", if such good even exists, that any app, person, or organization does.
before anyone jumps in to smugly tell me they're not an American so Trump being the American President doesn't matter, I'll remind you, we all live on the same planet. One thats getting warmer? in case you hadn't noticed. 2024 was the first year on record to breach the 1.5 degree warming mark that is very bad news. President Biden passed the biggest climate action bill that any government anywhere on earth ever ever has passed. Trump has pledged to repeal that law, and also hold back all the money in it not already spent.
Tumblr media
as you can see under Biden we're on goal through 2030, and then more and different policies would be needed to get us where we need to go, which Biden team in the dying days of his administration has set not that Trump will follow through.
so point being helping re-elect Trump might have doomed the planet so idk about anything "good" TikTok could possibly do to make up for being Responsible or the single biggest climate disaster in human history.
any ways, as a Jew when I think of TikTok I think antisemitism
"Jewish teens say life on TikTok comes with anti-Semitism" 2020
"Sliding Through: Spreading Antisemitism on TikTok by Exploiting Moderation Gaps" 2023
"How fast does TikTok send users down the antisemitic rabbit hole?" 2024
being on the internet right now as a Jewish person is fucking wild, buck wild, seeing people in their teens and 20s say NAZI, old school, 1940s Nazi shit on-line, in videos with their faces, it is everywhere and TikTok is some of the worst of it.
on top of which TikTok is spoon feeding massive amount of disinformation to users all the time, from mental health, to Covid Vaccines, to conspiracy theories that are effecting the real world. And studies show its actively hurting teens, pushing them toward self harm
speaking of Australia, its very clear that China is REALLY interested in influencing your country seeking to shift Australian public opinion against Taiwan and in favor of China, as well as push the country toward a more isolationist view. Also they're using data from not just TikTok but other apps to track people, and actively kidnap Chinese nationals in Australia who offend Xi's government. That's a wider problem than just TikTok of course, but it's super fucking scary.
So sorry the app you like is getting the axe in the US? I guess? but short form video in and of itself might be bad for your health. Apps like TikTok don't allow you to do what I've done here, offer links and data to back up what I'm saying so fact checking and accountability is basically 0. Finally there's a lot of evidence that TikTok has put its finger on the scale to push propaganda for Trump, for Xi and generally destabilize the world.
finally, what community? watching videos fed to you by a computer isn't a connection, its certainly not a conversation.
oh also "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism" is not some magical spell, it doesn't do away with the need to do good in the world, its meant to say don't let perfect be the enemy of good, whats the least bad option, nothing is flawless, but that doesn't mean going on to the app who's parting message to America was "big good daddy Trump gonna come save us" like fuck man thats bad

Christian-right media outlets, which function as an unofficial public relations operation for President Donald Trump, set out this week to smear in advance the ‘No Kings’ protests being held across the country on Sat. June 14 to protest Trump’s authoritarianism and defiance of the law and Constitution.
“As America prepares to honor the birthday of President Donald J. Trump on June 14,” began a screed that ran on the right-wing “America Faith” platform and was republished by the Pentecostal-oriented Charisma News—not even bothering to sustain the official fiction that Trump’s military parade is more about honoring the armed forces than a presidential exercise in self-glorification.
The diatribe was written by right-wing southern California pastor Phil Hotsenpiller, who founded American Faith after Trump was defeated in the 2020 election.
In this week’s column, Hotsenpiller warned of the “disturbing agenda” of the No Kings rallies: “to crush Donald Trump’s influence, undermine constitutional authority, and destabilize American sovereignty.”
“Let’s be clear,” wrote Hotsenpiller, “this is not about preserving democracy—it’s about preventing Trump from returning to power.”
Huh? Trump has already returned to power and is flagrantly abusing that power. That’s why Americans are rallying to defend the rule of law and the constitutional checks and balances Trump’s team is working so hard to dismantle.

Let’s get this out of the way fast:
No, I’m not down with the patriarchy. Because I like electricity. And clean water. And roofs that don’t leak when it rains. And pavement that doesn’t turn to death-sludge when it rains. And food. Specifically not shit sandwiches.
But sure. Let’s tear it all down because Twitter got spicy.
You ever notice who screams “down with the patriarchy” the loudest? It’s never the woman with a wrench in her hand. It’s never the woman scaling a transformer at 3AM during an ice storm. It’s never the girl removing a possum from a flooded sewer drain in a Hazmat suit. It’s always some cupcake in a cardigan with a minor in Gender Literacy and an iPhone made by child slaves. Tapping the words "abolish masculinity" on a device that runs on cobalt mined by men.
Let me make this clear:
I don’t give a flying wombat what label you throw at me. Misogynist. Toxic. Problematic. Hell, you can call me daddy like half of you do in the DMs after dark. But the one thing you will never call me?
Delusional.
Because delusion is what happens when you think civilization runs on emotion. That bridges are held up by affirmations. That skyscrapers exist because you journaled hard enough.
Sweetheart. This isn’t TikTok. This is physics.
And the patriarchy? That’s not oppression. That’s your Wi-Fi. That’s your plumbing. That’s the brakes on your car.
You don’t smash the patriarchy. You stand on it.
Let’s do a quick Reality Check Starter Pack.
📌 You want to abolish men, but who:
Builds your roads?
Installs your HVAC?
Puts up the steel framing in your Whole Foods?
Hauls your trash?
Fixes the sewer backup when you flush a face wipe?
Let me guess. You’ll manifest a clean bathroom with girl math. Or summon a backhoe using oracle moon energy.
No, babe. The dude with neck tattoos and a Gatorade bottle full of dip spit is the only reason your UTI doesn’t turn medieval.
And let’s talk about machines.
You ever hear a woman say:
“We don’t need men, we’ll build robots to do the hard stuff.”
Yeah? With what strength? Who’s lifting the titanium? Who’s mining the ore? Who’s welding the frame?
Siri doesn’t work during a power outage.
And your dishwasher doesn’t run on dreams.
It runs on coal. Diesel. Blood. And brute male force.
But you’re independent. You don’t need no man. Except when the sink leaks. The AC dies. The check engine light blinks. Or there’s a noise outside at 2:13AM.
Suddenly? Every feminist forgets Krav Maga.
Suddenly? That misogynist neighbor becomes “just so handy.” Suddenly? Your pepper spray isn’t cutting it. And you remember what protection actually looks like.
Call me cruel. Call me patriarchal. But don’t call me when the bear breaks through your window because you defunded the man who used to hunt it.
Let’s be real. If men disappeared tomorrow?
Women would be feral within the month. Not because you’re weak. But because civilization doesn’t run on vibes. It runs on sweat. Risk. Sacrifice. And testosterone-induced problem solving.
Let's break it down.
📊 WHO MAINTAINS CIVILIZATION?
🔧 Power grid maintenance: 97% men 🧱 Construction workers: 91% men 🪠 Plumbing and sewage: 96% men ⚓ Fishermen: 99% men 🪵 Lumberjacks: 100% men 🧯 Firefighting: 93% men 🛠️ Road repair crews: 95% men 🚚 Long-haul trucking: 94% men 💣 Military frontline combat: 99% men 🧼 Men who die so your hot water works: Countless
But sure. Tell me again how “gender is a construct.”
You know what isn’t a construct? Gravity. Back injuries. And sewage pressure blowing out a 40-foot pipe valve.
You want to see gender roles collapse? Turn off the grid for three days.
Suddenly?
“Down with the patriarchy” turns into “Help me, my bathwater’s brown and I think something’s moving in it.”
Now to the spicy part.
Let’s talk about power play.
There’s a reason men like me aren’t taken seriously by women who peg their boyfriends.
Because she’s wearing the strap. And he’s wearing the shame.
But me? I don’t bend over. Not for validation. Not for networks. And sure as hell not for you.
That’s why I get called toxic. Misogynist. Outdated.
While you watch my posts in the dark, wet and mad and fingering yourself through the hypocrisy.
Yeah. I said it. This is Blacksite Literature™. Not BuzzFeed therapy.
Let’s be even realer.
📌 Who sends the hate messages? Who calls me dangerous in public, but follows me from a burner? Who saves every post and quotes me in arguments with men they don’t respect?
You. The same ones crying “patriarchy” from the shelter it built.
Let me ask you this:
If every “toxic man” disappeared tomorrow, who do you think would protect you from the rest?
From the ones who don’t care about your pronouns? The ones who don’t negotiate over consent? The ones who see weakness, not value?
Do you think they’ll listen when you quote feminist theory? Do you think the evolved bear that’s learned how to unzip tents will stop because you explained the wage gap?
Nah.
You’ll wish someone like me was still standing. Still armed. Still “toxic.” Still dangerous to everything that wants to reduce you to meat.
So no. I’m not down with the patriarchy.
Because I’m not down with starvation. I’m not down with mud huts and period huts and ritual stonings from the Taliban 2.0 with better Wi-Fi.
I’m not down with pretending that 500,000 years of physical infrastructure was a gendered conspiracy.
It was sacrifice. It was risk. It was dying younger, working harder, being disposable, so you could live longer, safer, and freer.
And now you throw rocks at the house that keeps you out of the cave.
So call me whatever you need to sleep at night.
But understand this:
The patriarchy isn’t oppressing you. It’s keeping you alive.
And if you ever get what you claim to want?
You'll die under your own empowerment. Starving. Freezing. Bleeding. Unshaved. Unarmed. Unloved.
While some rewilded bear figures out how to undo a sports bra.

During the Troubles, Civil Rights Leaders went to Ireland to learn about the plight of the Irish people and to support their fight against colonialism.
Standing on the success of their nonviolent principles which led to civil liberties here (to whatever degree the CRM was successful) and in their ignorance of the history of Ireland, they tried to get the IRA to adopt nonviolent, peaceful civil disobedience.
At the end of their tour of Belfast, where they learned the history and politics of Irish resistance, all of them come to the conclusion that here violence is necessary. The Irish have exhausted all other means including nonviolent ones. Even if some of the CRM leaders maintained nonviolence as paramount, they understood that certain exceptions must be made because — regardless of if they approve of violence or not — their job is to support colonized people and follow their lead.
There is a lesson here that we should apply to the Palestinian struggle.
I’ve seen people pearl clutch over seeing so many dead Palestinians as part of the colonial violence of the camera. This misses the point of why those images are being shared.
Last decade many Black americans, myself included, talked about the commodification of Black death. videos of state murder plastered on every news channel 24/7, going viral across social media platforms connected to the legacy of lynching postcards and gator bait. We demonstrated that those videos rarely got an indictment and only once a conviction. Many of the families of these victims of police murder made it clear they don’t want the image of their loved one to be of death. The reason why we share Michael Brown’s graduation photo instead of the photo of his corpse is because Lesley McSpadden demanded it. With all this in mind, we understand that in most cases the sharing of those images are antiblack.
The Palestinians do not have that history. The Nakba never happened, despite israelis calling this the second Nakba. genocide joe said 40 israeli babies were beheaded after it was found out that the story was some wingnut footsoldier’s lie, not even official israeli hasbara. It was like 2 weeks ago that genocide joe said the number of murdered Palestinians (at the time around 5,000 Palestinians were martyred — the number is now over 10,000) was a Hamas lie.
Linguistically there is no murdered Palestinian. All the headlines read “x amount of israelis killed and some palestinians died”. visually there is no dead Palestinian. official israeli hasbara is trying to flood social media with videos of patient-actors getting into place in Indonesian medical training programs to “debunk” the countless videos of martyred Palestinians.
The denial of the scale of israel’s genocide of the Palestinians is so bad that reporters in Gaza are holding dead children in front of press cameras because Palestinians do not die and are not murdered.
The profit motive of these images is actually in their absence. not their over saturation like with Black americans. The west needs israel as a destabilizing force in the middle east. The strategy of the western media then is to bury these images, to not give them a second of attention. So logically the Palestinian strategy is to proliferate these images to show just how horrifying israel’s crimes are.
Two things can be true at the same time; what works for you doesn’t necessarily work for me etc.
The other thing i’m seeing are liberal frameworks to understand genocide. Of particular ire is desirability politics. *jujubee voice* just say white supremacy.
Desirability is tertiary at best. israel is genociding Palestinians because they want control over Gaza and the West Bank (and Lebanon too). They are not genociding Palestinians because Palestinians are “undesirable.” They make Palestinians undesirable to justify taking their land. Talking about this psychoanalytic bullshit distracts from the primary reason for the displacement and mass murder of Palestinians: the taking of their land.
~*desirability*~ is just one way that israel tries to justify its crimes. Desirability is a circular logic that can only make sense once you manufacture its premise irl. It means nothing without the material conditions it claims are true. Its super easy to call someone an animal after you put them in a cage. It’s super easy to call a people dirty savages after you restrict their access to water. It’s super easy to call someone violent after you sequester them in small, barely livable spaces and stress them with bombings and check points.
It’s also — there’s a way in which opposition to something reifies the very thing that you oppose. Toni Morrison continues to beat everybody’s ass. What does it do when you see a baby with half a skull and say “this happened because she is undesirable”? Undesirable to whom? Not me.
Palestinians are not so passive as to oppose white supremacy and desirability. The Palestinian people are a proactive people. Palestine is the issue. Palestine has a people. Palestine has an ecology. Palestine has life. Palestine is life. Palestinians fight for life. life can neither exist nor blossom under white supremacy.
Any analysis that does not begin with this is a distraction. And distractions only benefit the colonizers.

Kingsmold Zero Line
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Code:
Command line (0+) Means by which orders are given, understood, and executed  Facial recognition (0+) KM can tell individuals apart Reading comprehension (0+) KM can read Language proficiency (0+) KM understand the spoken language.  Large database (0+) Ability to store previous moments for later recall.   Information Sharing (0+) Allowing KM to share information between all KM with this code Logic and reasoning (0+) Allows KM to read between the lines of orders/don’t have to spell them out Advanced learning (0+) Can learn new information quickly Combat Tactics (0+) Pattern Recognition (0+) Bodily awareness (0+) KM are aware of the status of their body so can tell where it is and when it is damaged.  Platform Designation Recognition (0+) Allows each KM be able to differentiate itself from the other KM Language proficiency expanded (6+)   KM now understand sarcasm, hyperbole, and jokes    Voice Recognition (6+) So KM only follow PKs orders Command Structure (7+) Tier list of people who can give commands to KM.  Self Preservation (8+) KM will takes steps to avoid damage to their frame or full bodily dissolution if possible.  Deductive reasoning (8+) Can solve complex puzzles and make abstract, muli-step connections  Non lethal combat training (10+) Emotion Recognition (10+) Give KM ability to recognize emotions of living creatures and react accordingly     Code editing (12+) Allowing PK the ability to edit the existing soul enchanting without putting the KM back into the mold or needing a full dissection  Sign language (14+)
Pour Notes
KM 000 and 001 Test:  All code at maximum strength. (Excluding ones marked at specific lines)
Results: Error: Extensive soul encoding within mold overpowered the void causing it to destabilize and melt the form. Any benefits of the maximum enchanting was unable to be fully tested due to the instability.
Outcome:  000: Liquefied promptly after exiting the mold 001: Survived pour. Given armor and functioned adequately for a time. Bits of void would sough off at a consistent rate. As time passed, more sizable chunks of material began to separate from the main mass at faster rates. Ultimately, the entire km body underwent catastrophic liquefaction.
Conclusion: Soul Encoding too powerful. Void appears to have a maximum amount of soul per unit of void before it will begin dissolving. Soul Enchantments will need to be balanced to stay under this maximum.
KM 002 and 003 Test:  Mold re-etched. Soul enchantments strength reduced with new balance.
Results: Balance of void and soul skewed too far to void dominance, leading to the voids photophobia and caustic nature to remain intact within the kingsmold.  Mold requires repair.  *Previous glitches of kingsmold may be due to The Pale King’s light damaging the body pre placement in armor. Further instances of the Pale King working with out of armor kingsmold will need to cover to minimize damage to the void.
Outcome: 002: Survived pour, armor installed, but showed signs of photophobia early on. Backing away and shielding self from bright sources of light. Began striking out at light sources within its range. Escalated to seeking out and attacking light sources including the Pale King and White Lady. Under restraint, was slowly pried from armor. Exposed segments began to melt under The Pale Kings light ultimately leading to 002 evacuating its armor and attempting to assault the king. Due to its already destabilizing form, it liquified before contact could be made. Upon inspection, interior of armor had been corroded by the void.   003: During pour, void cracked the mold. Partially structure void lashed out at all light sources and attempted to consume any living creature within the room. Form ultimately melted when exposed to The Pale King light.
Conclusion: Soul Encoding too weak. Lacking strong enough soul encoding, void behavior can overpower the kingsmold coding causing it to lash out and corrode surfaces. If future soul enchantments are not strong enough to control the void, seals will need to be added int their place.
KM 004 and 005 Test: Power of soul enchantment increased, while prioritizing Command Line power to minimize/eliminated outbursts.
Results: Glitch: Would follow all orders immediately and literally, from anyone, including common citizens, palace guards, and children.
Outcome:  004: Devious noble wanted access to a restricted section, told it to get out of their way. To which 004 moved. As the noble passed, they  comment that the kingsmold should be dismantled. Kingsmold 004 interpreted the comment as a serious order and dismantled itself.  005: A curious civilian ordered the kingsmold to follow them home for study. By the time the KMs absence was noticed, and its location tracked down, the citizen in question had died due to direct and prolonged exposure to void. The remains were [REDACTED], what wasn’t was heavily tainted by void.  Upon its return to the palace, KM 005 exhibited strange behavior including making several attempts to ‘consume’ mortals. Decision was made to decommission and dissect 005.  [Dissection report restricted to highest levels of security clearance]
Conclusion: Further adjustments to Command Line required. Expansion to language proficiency to include sarcasm, hyperbole, and jokes.
KM 006 and 007 Test: Adjusted Command Line control enchantment to prioritize control to The Pale King. Language Proficiency expanded.
Results: Glitch: Would only follow orders from The Pale King, even if The Pale King told them to follow the orders of someone else.  Glitch: KM would become twitchy when away from The Pale King, often wondering back to him after a long enough separation.  *Soul enchantment editing by placing the kingsmold back into the mold is a non viable way to change/update the enchantments.
Outcome:  006: After it had been away from the The Pale King for an extended period of time, it removed its armor, then went to find him. Fixated at the time, he did not notice 006 was standing behind him until its melted pool of void made contact 007: Attempting to correct the error, 007 was placed back into an updated mold to install Command Structure enchantment. After, it was given an order by an assistant, to which it twitched and spasmed for a moment before tearing itself apart. Order from The Pale King could not stop the outburst and 007 succeeded in self disassembly. Cause believed to be conflicting enchantments
Conclusion: Lesson Command Line power and add a default state to obey The Pale King. New soul enchantment to be created: command structure, internal list of individuals that have been given power to give kingsmold orders. Can only be edited by The Pale King.
KM 008 and 009 Test: Adjustment to Command Line and addition of Command Structure. Self Preservation and Deductive Reasoning added.
Results: Command structure successful implementation. Only obeyed commands of those given clearance to do so. Mostly.  Error: If the order risked the Kingsmold structure, it would not follow the order at all, regardless of who gave it.  Glitch: When given an order, kingsmold could perform an order oddly, at a different time, place, or in a non standard way.   Glitch: If not told if couldn’t do something, it was interpreted as it could. I.E. isn’t told its not allowed to wonder aimlessly, so it could wonder aimlessly.
Outcome:  008: After continued strange behavior/interpretation of orders, 008 was slated for dissection. When the time came, 008 could not be found. Its armor was found outside the entrance to the abyss. No trace of its body was ever found 009: Behavior became erratic after disappearance of 008. Would pull away/run whenever The Pale King shown any of his light on it during out of armor examinations. Strange behavior eventually leveled out after examinations and talk of dissection was discontinued.  Glitch: Unexplained change in density. Long period between previous density check, thus cause is unknown.  Glitch: Randomly wonders palace grounds even when told not to Glitch: Sudden increase in processing power and speed. Went unnoticed for some time so inciting incident unknown Rumor: reports of strange sounds emitting from around it, or even from it. Supposed glitch cannot be reproduced nor has been observed directly Wear: Strange wear and damage found on the inside of its armor.
Conclusion:  Survival instincts too strong. Deductive reasoning possibly causing conflicting enchantments leading to un-explainable behavior.
KM 010 and 011 Test: Reduced survival instincts and deductive reasoning strength.  Added Non-Lethal Combat Training and Emotional Recognition to soul enchanting
Results: Non-Lethal combat training successfully implemented and tested Glitch: Behavior was erratic. Could attack unruly visitors without an order. Would react in seemly random ways if a large group of citizens is nearby.  Glitch: Would react to stimuli that previous models would not react to.
Outcome:  010: Stationed outside the palace hospital, a small child would visit this kingsmold on their frequent visits. 010 began following the child around without any order to do so. Upon news that the child had died, 010’s emotional recognition was seemly overloaded due to parents reactions and became erratic. The Pale King had to be called to calm the kingsmold. After a long enough time without orders, 010 would become erratic again. Always having to have The Pale King stop its outbursts. When he was not around to stop one of these episodes, 010 used its own weapon and decapitated itself.  011: After the self decommissioning of 010, 011 became lethargic. Following orders slowly or not at all. It frequently wondered away from its posts to be found near civilian groups, watching them. One instance of it wondering off resulted it in never being found. No traces of armor or void trails and no sightings reported. It was believed to have wondered back into the abyss like 008
Conclusion: Emotional recognition strength to powerful, causing strong emotions from mortals to activate the soul enchanting and overload it. Will need to temper the enchantment.
KM 012 and 013 Test: Dropped strength of Emotional Recognition. Enchantment Editing added.
Results: Coded editing proved to still cause damage to KM, resulting in further glitches  or destabilization.  Apparent balance of previous existing code reached.
Outcome:  012: Due to an inability to communicate efficiently with civilians, an emergency situation lead to 012 implementing force against civilians. Resulting in serious injuries. Had to be pulled from circulation due to public outcry. The Pale King then used it for testing new soul enchantments via the editing ability. The frequent exposure to The Pale King’s light and/or conflicting enchantments, caused a severe glitch with the kingsmolds’ pathing. When ordered to go somewhere, instead of taking a safe path, it walked off a ledge leading to the body undergoing catastrophically disassembling on impact 013: After discovering the earlier kingsmold models displaying later models abilities, The Pale King decided to test the neural network by disconnecting 013 from it, to discover enchantments edits from 014 appeared in all other models except 013. Continued to test the neural network capabilities with 013 as the primary test subject.  Incident: 013 went rouge. Destroying the 0 mold and all the notes regarding the line, before starting to destroy the void lab. By the time The Pale King arrived to stop it, 013 had absorbed several containers of void leading to [REDACTED]
Conclusion: If a Kingsmold is disconnected from the network for too long, appears to cause instability within the disconnected model. So long as new enchantments don’t conflict with the old, the enchantment sharing is seen as beneficial. Additionally, extended times of disconnection is discouraged.  Will want to test neural networks between lines, could prove detrimental to new enchantments.  Kingsmold undergoing enchantments edits will need to be disconnected from the neural network to ensure no conflicting soul enchantments or un-desired  glitches spread to the other kingsmold of the line.  Large edits between pours should have the new pour automatically disconnected from the neural network until the new edits are tested properly. All void containers moving forward will be sealed. Both labs will be sealed so only marked individuals can come and go at will. All others will need a pass from The Pale King himself.  Enchantment editing will need further adjustments and testing with more safety measures taken into account.  Leveling out of emotional recognition appears to have spread to the remaining models.
KM 014 and 015 Test: Sign Language added.
Results: Discovered previous models of the 0 line could now perform sign language.  While implementation of sign language went smoothly, large swaths of Hallownest’s population do not understand sign language. Will need to encourage sign language education for frequent palace visitors if not entire population.
Outcome:  014: After repeated soul editing, it began to grow unstable, eventually refusing to follow The Pale Kings order to allow him to soul edit, refusing to leave its armor. When attempting to pry it out, 014 lashed out at the king and fled. Was eventually tracked down within the city, fleeing towards Kingdoms Edge. Had to be deactivated due to it use of citizens as hostages.  015: Mold cracked during pour causing physical abnormalities and incomplete enchanting. Instead of immediately decommissioning it, The Pale King seeing it could still somewhat function, decided to keep it to tinker and study it. Placed it within modified armor to compensate for its physical limitations and allow it mobility.  Undiscovered featured: After repeated exposure to the other 0 line, abilities that had partially or completely failed to be etched into 015 began functioning. Fatal Error: Body was found limb and unresponsive. Explanation or cause of this fatal error was never found and 015 could not be reactivated. Only clue was neural network soul enchantment was burned out.
Conclusion:  Further editing/building off the 0 line is no longer the best course of action. All notes from previous pours and soul enchantments power will be taken into account when creating the next line mold.

 ✷ Quirk : Ultraviolet
This Quirk allows the user to generate and manipulate ultraviolet radiation, a high-energy form of electromagnetic waves. Unlike visible light, ultraviolet energy carries intense heat and can burn, weaken, or destabilize targets upon contact.
The user can release controlled UV bursts for offensive attacks, create blade-like energy constructs for precision strikes, or emit a continuous aura of ultraviolet light to disorient opponents.
The user is granted both offensive and support-based capabilities. Controlled bursts allow for close and mid-range combat, while energy manipulation enables tracking and environmental disruption. The Quirk’s intensity increases with exposure to natural UV sources such as sunlight, making daytime battles more effective.
While highly versatile, the Quirk has limitations. Excessive use leads to overheating and fatigue, and prolonged combat in low-light environments weakens the user’s effectiveness. Intense energy bursts may also cause temporary self-inflicted blindness if not properly controlled.

The Second Trump Presidency, Brought to You by YouTubers
In an effort to understand the media diet of a generation, Bloomberg watched and analyzed over 2,000 videos from nine prominent YouTubers.
To hear them tell it, America is in a desperate place, destabilized by soaring inflation, migrants streaming across the border and the beginnings of a third world war. Gender politics have gotten out of hand while schools and the medical establishment duped the public. The same messages were communicated in Trump’s inaugural address on Monday. Now that Trump is back in power, the broadcasters are well-positioned to help build support for his political agenda, transforming grievances into policy that could have lasting effects even beyond Trump’s term in office.
In the months leading up to election, hosts had more politicians and pundits on their shows and discussed the issues more frequently. Of the broadcasters’ videos that reached over 1 million views on YouTube during the time span Bloomberg reviewed, more than a third of videos mentioned voting or the US elections — often with the host explicitly calling on listeners to vote.
None of the broadcasters style themselves as political pundits, and their conservative talking points were sandwiched between free-wheeling discussions of sports, masculinity, internet culture, gambling and pranks — making the rhetoric more palatable to an apolitical audience. Still, their popularity is sparking a “very big sea change in terms of who are the voices that matter,” Mark Zuckerberg, Meta Platforms Inc. chief executive officer, said in a conversation with Rogan published Jan. 10. “There’s this wholesale generational shift in who are the people who are being listened to.”
According to Edison Research, close to 50% of people over the age of 12 listen to a podcast monthly. Rogan’s three-hour interview with Trump in late October drew about 50 million views on YouTube.
[...] Exit polls have shown that Trump received more support from young men than any Republican candidate in more than two decades.
[...] Above all, the broadcasters described American men as victims of a Democratic campaign to strip them of their power — a comforting message to a disspirited audience. These days, young men are lonelier than ever, with those aged 18 to 23 the least optimistic about their futures, and having the lowest levels of social support, according to Equimundo’s 2023 State of American Men report. Trump and his allies showed up for young men in the places where they were already spending their time — and supplied them with answers.
Trump is expected to continue prioritizing the broadcasters once the administration gets underway, treating them like an “alternative press corps,” said Aaron Ginn, CEO of AI infrastructure startup Hydra Host, and co-founder of the Foundation for American Innovation, a center-right think tank for conservatives in Silicon Valley.
[...] Thirty percent of videos discussing transgender identity also mention children. Hosts criticized public schools for letting children explore their gender identity, and staunchly opposed gender-affirming care for minors. [...] In one April 2024 discussion on Fridman’s show, the former US Representative Tulsi Gabbard argued that advocating for the rights of transgender individuals infringed on the rights of women.
Matt Fitzgerald, a 35-year-old stonemason from a suburb of Boston, started listening to Rogan during the Covid-19 pandemic. He said he now listens to more than a dozen podcasts, including by Von and Bet-David, most of which he discovered through Rogan and his guests.
Once a registered Democrat who voted for President Barack Obama, Fitzgerald supported Trump in 2016 and has stuck with him ever since. Fitzgerald said he is better informed because of the podcasts he listens to.

Bloomberg: The Second Trump Presidency, Brought to You by Right-Leaning Male YouTubers
Davey Alba, Leon Yin, Julia Love, Ashley Carman, Priyanjana Bengani, Rachael Dottle, and Elena Mejía at Bloomberg:
As Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th US President on Monday, he was surrounded by his family, donors and wealthy tech executives. Just a few feet farther away stood a political newcomer who’s been credited with encouraging lots of votes: Joe Rogan. The fact that Rogan, the host of the world’s most popular podcast, watched from the Capitol Rotunda as Republican luminaries like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis were confined to overflow speaks volumes about the new dynamics at play in Washington and the media writ large. Over the past two years, a set of massively popular podcasters and streamers cemented themselves as the new mainstream source of information for millions of young men, and, according to a new Bloomberg analysis, used their perch to rally these constituents in support of Trump and the political right.
In an effort to understand the media diet of a generation, Bloomberg watched and analyzed over 2,000 videos from nine prominent YouTubers. Reporters reviewed nearly 1,300 hours of footage from their channels, mapped out the podcasters’ guest networks and quantified the frequency of key political messages that they distributed to tens of millions of subscribers each day.
Zuckerberg, for his part, recently loosened Meta’s policies on Facebook and Instagram to allow more of the type of rhetoric that’s common among the podcasters, such as disparagement of transgender people. He added Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White, who encouraged Trump to join as a guest on such podcasts, to Meta’s board. Elon Musk, the owner of X, has made product changes to allow longer video streaming, in support of podcasters — and joined several as a guest himself. Google, meanwhile, wants to work through some Republican perceptions of its liberal bias and show that YouTube has already long been popular with conservatives, according to a person familiar with the company’s thinking. Over the weekend before the inauguration, many of the podcasters were coveted guests at parties hosted by YouTube, Spotify and other organizations. YouTube declined to comment. Spotify said “podcasts offer candidates a direct and influential way to engage with their audiences,” noting that both Trump and Democratic rival Kamala Harris took advantage of the medium. With the podcasters’ audiences skewing about 80% male on average, according to people familiar with the shows’ listener demographics, the hosts connected directly to a voting bloc that helped propel Trump back to the White House. Of the 903 podcast guests tracked by Bloomberg in the past two years, only 106 people, or 12 percent, were women. Men, and particularly white men, have long made up Trump’s core support base. But in November’s election, young men swung especially hard to the right. More than half of men under 30 supported Trump, according to the AP VoteCast survey of more than 120,000 voters, though outgoing President Joe Biden won the group in 2020. Exit polls have shown that Trump received more support from young men than any Republican candidate in more than two decades.
“We definitely helped with the young male vote,” Kyle Forgeard, a member of the Nelk Boys, said in an interview. “On the podcast, we just speak our mind, try to be true to ourselves and say what we think.” Above all, the broadcasters described American men as victims of a Democratic campaign to strip them of their power — a comforting message to a disspirited audience.
[...] The male-oriented podcasts tracked by Bloomberg each have their own style of show. Theo Von often discusses substance abuse issues and childhood experiences with his interviewees, while Lex Fridman focuses on expert opinions and tech topics. Shawn Ryan chats with people associated with military and law enforcement, saying he exposes the inner workings of the US government. Logan Paul, the Nelk Boys and Adin Ross tend to focus on humor, sports, pranks and creator drama. Of the programs reviewed, The Joe Rogan Experience, Flagrant by Andrew Schulz and The PBD Podcast by Patrick Bet-David follow the most typical host-and-interview talk show format, discussing news and popular culture, all while challenging political correctness. The hosts largely do not push back against their guests’ ideas. Von, Rogan and Schulz are also comedians, and they often recast controversial content as edgy humor. Yet even as the podcasts have tried to brand themselves uniquely, similar themes and characters appear across the network. Bloomberg’s analysis of 2,002 episodes across the shows reveals how closely interconnected the podcasters’ relationships are, and how much the shows’ talking points overlap. Over the past two years, 152 guests made an appearance on at least two of the shows. Recurring characters are common, not just as guests, but as “friends of the shows,” including the UFC CEO White and comedian Shane Gillis. The effect gives viewers a sense of being inducted into a virtual, close-knit friend group from home.

“No…” The girl began as Charles stared at her, concentrating. “No! Stop! You’re hurting me!” The little girl was furious and in pain, and the whole room flashed from illusion to illusion, an amalgam of horrible nightmares and melancholy landscapes. Death, pain, agony, and horror. The platform continued to be suspended throughout each illusion. “Get out of my head!”
Suddenly, the girl flashed into 143 in the illusion, as Charles broke it down. Ororo saw this and concentrated, her eyes turned white. Electricity culled from the ceiling, and the wind blew in their faces; lightning flashed and then hit 143. The little girl screamed as the illusion broke, her face twitched and flashed into the leering, ghoulish image of Mutant 143, then back to the girl. She then vanished, revealing 143 completely. The illusion finally dropped. Broken.
Dark Cerebro was falling apart, beams and pieces of the structure fell from above. Charles closed his eyes and reached up with his hands and quickly removed the helmet. The lights dimmed and the hum ceased. Charles stared at Mutant 143, whose face was emotionless, but his eyes seemed to be filled with sadness… Possibly regret. The room was hit hard. The ceiling above them began to chip and crack, a giant grinder hit the platform, destabilizing it, and 143 was knocked off the edge; they all helplessly watched him fall into the abyss. The platform was about to break away completely, so Ororo moved close to Charles, and Nightcrawler did his best to cover his arms around them both.
Massive cracks spread through the dam like spider webs. Parts of concrete began to fall away. Water gushed from the holes, and the entire dam was about to collapse. Scott, Jean, and the kids stood, blasted by snowy wind, waiting beside the abandoned helipad. Nightcrawler and Ororo emerged from the tunnel, followed by you and Logan; he was carrying Charles.
“Logan?” Ororo asked, staring at the helipad.
Logan walked past her. His jaw dropped. The helicopter was gone. Stryker’s body laid on the ground, eyes wide in a frozen outcry, the steel chains coiled around his throat. “Magneto.” Logan said with a growl. Logan stared at Stryker's body for a beat, then suddenly turned, and stared at the surrounding woods.
“What’s wrong?” You asked as you gently placed a hand on his arm, your eyes following where he was looking.
Trees began to shake, clumps of snowfall fell from the branches. A faint thunder and the sound of snapping wood echoed in the distance. It was growing louder. “Shit.” Logan muttered.
“What is that?” Nightcrawler asked, warrily.
Logan pursed his lips, his eyes narrowing, “Alkali Lake. All of it.” Logan answered, his voice deep and stiff.
Eyes widening, you felt your heart race in horror, “Crap.”
Suddenly, wind explodes from the forest like a shockwave, almost knocking the group to the ground. They turned to see a huge black shape, tearing through the woods. The X-Jet was slicing treetops over their heads, awkwardly trying to slow down over the helipad. Ororo grabbed onto Nightcrawler’s arm, and he knew what to do. Wrapping his arms around her, they both quickly disappeared into the jet.
They appeared in the cockpit, and she took the seat next to Rogue, who was still wide-eyed and shaken, she held onto the controls with white-knuckled fear. “It’s okay. You can let go.” Ororo muttered quietly, reassuringly before she grabbed the controls from the terrified teen and steadied the jet.
The jet was maintained and lowered onto the helipad, and the ramp dropped, revealing a frantic Bobby. “Hurry!”
The kids scrambled up the ramp, and Colossus took Charles from Logan. Rogue looked out the windshield and saw a massive wave of water heading straight towards them, trees snapping like twigs in the process. Rogue eyed her nervously, Ororo had her hand on the controls, ready to lift off.
Scott led Jean up the ramp. You and Logan followed behind them. “Take us up!” Scott yelled out, and Ororo yanked back on the handles. The then X-Jet raised, barely dodging more debris and water as the tunnel exit, helipad, and Stryker’s body were engulfed.
Logan stood on the ramp, looking down at the furious waters below. He looked closer to see the waves head down-river, flooding over the old base, washing away any remnant of Logan’s past. With a solemn look on his face, Logan turned around and headed up the ramp, and it closed behind him. As he looked up, he spotted you standing there, hands in your pockets, a sad expression on your face.
“It’s ain’t fair.” Logan said, annoyed, turning his gaze down to the metal flooring of the X-Jet.
“I know...” You sighed - disappointed - as you leaned against the wall of the jet.
Logan sighed right back, before “Are ya okay?” Logan asked, considering you found out that you were experimented on by Stryker and his men.
You shrugged, “Yeah, physically yeah… Mentally, I don’t know, but my question is how’d you get so good at making me like you?” You asked, crossing your arms, trying your best to change the subject, and lift the sour mood.
“I’m the best at what I do.” Logan replied, amused, his frown slowly slipping into a smirk.
You nodded, happy that you were able to bring a smile to his face; albeit a smirk. Your face felt warm, even though you weren’t in the cold snow anymore. “You know, I’m sorry about this. I knew you really wanted your revenge. So, I got a surprise for you.” You then spoke up, before you disappeared in a bright light. Logan stood there very confused for a quick second before you reappeared. You smiled and looked around you to see and make sure that no one was watching, and no one was; you then handed him a Dr. Pepper.
Logan smirked turned into a smile as he took it from you, his fingers gently brushing against yours; accidentally? Who knows? “Where’d you get this?” He asked, popping the lid.
“My cabin. When I sneak one from the mansion, I save some. So, I thought you would like one since there’s nothing here on the Jet. And, you know, after everything, a Dr. Pepper can really brighten someone's day.” You shrugged, rubbing the back of your neck as you glanced away briefly.
Logan chuckled and took a sip of the drink, “That was very cliche.” His words made you gasp in faux offense.
“Cliche?” You exclaimed with a chuckle, pressing a hand to your chest, “Okay, no more Dr. Peppers for you.”
Logan’s grin softened, admiring your smile - and laugh - as he made a mental note to thank you later.

📌 "Beyond Constitutional Authority": Widespread Outrage in U.S. Congress After Trump Orders Strike on Iran
Washington – The Guardian (Political Correspondent)
Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to launch airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities has sparked a wave of outrage across Capitol Hill, with lawmakers accusing him of violating the Constitution and bypassing Congress’s war powers authority.
According to sources within the Department of Defense, Trump personally authorized the strikes on three major Iranian sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan — citing the need to “prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.” The operation reportedly involved B-2 stealth bombers equipped with deep-penetration ordnance.
However, many members of Congress expressed bipartisan concern over what they described as a reckless and unilateral action. They emphasized that the President cannot launch military operations of this scale without Congressional approval, as mandated by Article I of the U.S. Constitution.
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) issued a sharply worded statement:
"What Trump did was illegal and dangerous. Only Congress has the authority to declare war — not a president seeking to flex his power."
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), known for his anti-interventionist stance, added:
"We’re teetering on the edge of another Middle Eastern war because one man ignored the Constitution. He must be held accountable."
Trump responded via his Truth Social platform:
"We did what should have been done long ago. Iran now knows our red lines are real. The world — and Israel — is safer today because of it."
White House Defends Action as “Necessary”
In a press briefing, a National Security Council spokesperson defended the strikes, citing “credible intelligence” that Iran was preparing to enrich uranium to weapons-grade levels. He described the operation as a “preemptive deterrent,” not an act of war.
Legal experts, however, called the justification misleading. They referenced the War Powers Resolution of 1973, which requires presidents to notify Congress within 48 hours of military action and obtain authorization for engagements lasting beyond 60 days.
Global Reactions and Rising Tensions
The international response has been mixed. Russia and China condemned the U.S. action, while Tehran labeled it a "blatant act of aggression" and vowed "unconventional retaliation." Meanwhile, Israeli officials hailed the strikes as a “game-changer.”
The United Nations Secretary-General called for “maximum restraint” and warned against any further escalation.
Fears of Wider Conflict
Analysts warn the attacks could provoke Iran to fully withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and accelerate its nuclear ambitions, further destabilizing an already volatile region stretching from Yemen to Lebanon.
As the U.S. enters another contentious election season, the legality and consequences of Trump’s actions are likely to dominate debates over presidential war powers and the direction of American foreign policy.
