I was thinking of a color and like describing things someone in the server would associate them with, decided that someone would be Pac, then went through the rainbow and then some.
Prism
816 words
Pactw lives in a world of color.
Dipped in a vat of rainbow from the first blink of life.
He does not ever say what his favorite or least favorite shade of the world around him is when asked.
Because sometimes it's red.
Like his heart, like most anyone's heart he supposes, what was most commonly associated with love.
Like the sky looming above them on that other island, the one where they called Watcher took them and made them play games that required winners but none were exactly keen on winning, the place where three children were apparently also waiting and needed looking after.
Like the blood that ran from his leg, or the place it used to be, but was now running along grey stone floors, and in the stubble and along the smiling teeth of the person across him.
Like poppies, his niece's favorite flower, that she handed out to each beloved member of the island and was later placed in a vase or sewn onto backpacks or tucked behind ears.
But it's also orange.
Like the outer petals of his son's favorite flower.
Like prison jumpsuits, the kind he wore in Alcatraz, after he and Mike were a little to reckless and got caught and were lead away and kept behind metal bars until their escape.
It could be yellow.
Like the main color of the jersey his son wore, sitting too big on his tiny and oval body.
Like the halo that sat above Bobby's head, where he stood waiting for his parents and other island residents, behind a wall of glass and inside an all white room the Federation lead them too.
Like the yolk that dripped like blood from the weapon belonging to someone that looked like an employee of Cucorucho, but had a single eye in the center of their face, the body of his niece on the ground nearby.
Like the innertube with features of a duck that sat around the frame of his nephew.
Or sometimes it was green.
Like the numbers on the front of and around the neck and sleeves of his son's jersey.
Like the "moss" that dotted Badboyhalo's back when they got back from Purgatory.
Like Mike's eyes, and the shirt he wore with a creeper on the front, and his soul.
Of course there was also blue.
Like the underside of his hair that was dyed before his date,
Like the flames of which his team were named after on the other island.
Like the hoodie he wore basically every day.
Sometimes it was purple.
Like the particles that surrounded a person when they used a warpstone.
Like the veins that glowed and pulsed along the inky wings of Philza.
Like the almost translucent portal encased in obsidian that no one was allowed to go through, except the president one time, and he came back wrong.
Like the mushroom hat with white polka dots his niece liked to wear.
There was also pink.
Like Mine, the partner of his soulmate, of her eyes and hair.
Like the color of the pills, that were flavorless and tasted more artificial than anything, from the bottle with a smiley face he held in his fist.
Like the almost certain blush on the apples of his cheeks as he lifted and hid his face in the collar of his shirt at being asked to go do a dungeon, just the two of them, sort of like a date.
But it could also be brown.
Like his own eyes.
Like the leather band of his second son's goggles that sat around the top of his head.
Like the crates on the cargo ship that sat along the side that brought him and his companions to the island.
Like Cell's hair, who had since added a second syllable to his name, but it still hung kind of curly and in his face the same as prison.
Like Fit's favorite tee shirt.
Or sometimes it was black.
Like his own hair.
Like the blocks of concrete left behind in the place of children, along with notes of worry and love, and blurry pictures, dotting the land like weeds.
Like the ten and a half pairs of legs and feet running around giggling and needing cookies.
And it was white.
Like the shine of Badboyhalo's eyes since his revival.
Like that stupid bear and their stupid employees and the stupid walls and floors of the buildings they worked in.
Like the bottle of pills that sat in a locked briefcase, and his hoodie and pants which had been replaced, and the teeth of the too wide to be honest smiles that he and the president shared.
Like the shells of his children and nieces and nephews.
Pactw lived in a world of color.
He liked and disliked each shade for their own respective reason.
But his world never lacked.

Enchanted Adventures
A commission for @theravensprince featuring their OC Kevir and my OC Autumn! Thank you for commissioning me, and your patience <3
Like what you read? DM for your own commission
Ko-Fi
A peaceful morning of bird songs and sunrays gently rouse Kevir from his sleep. He rolls over, reaching for Autumn but his hand lands on a vacancy in the bed. A paw lightly taps his face, which he swats away with a groan.
'You should rescue your girlfriend from the kitchen,' Que remarks through their telepathic bond.
The sizzle and pop of hot oil is chased by a yelp.
'Or save the kitchen from her.' Que scrambles up onto his shoulder as he exits the bedroom into their open-plan kitchen and living room.
Autumn hovers anxiously over a steaming pan, her right forearm wrapped in a damp tea towel.
'Are you hurt?' Kevir asks with a frown.
Autumn turns slowly, shoulders creeping up to up her ears with the look of a cat caught with the cream. 'I didn't think you were awake.'
'Let me look.' Kevir gently urges, peeling back the towel.
The skin is slightly raised and a few shades darker. He gently blows on the wound, summoning his innate magic to manifest as a cool breeze. Her skin returns to it's normal, beautiful lilac colour.
'I'll never get used to that…'
Kevir lightly nudges her away from the hob. 'I saved you, now let's see if I can save breakfast.'
Peering into the charred remains he couldn't even begin to identify, it would be a miracle if he could recover the pan, let alone the breakfast.
'Your mother teach you to cook?' He asks with a grin as he fetches a fresh pan.
Autumn pouts, stealing Que and hopping up on the counter.
'She certainly learned fire safety from her.'
Autumn rubs Que's cheeks, cooing softly to her as Kevir takes over breakfast, none the wiser to her remark.
'By the way, I have a gift for you. Or, well, us.'
'Oh?'
Autumn nods, beaming. 'Wait here!'
Kevir mentally slaps himself to pay attention to their bacon as his mind wanders through various, wonderful scenarios.
She returns with an impish grin, hands behind her back. 'Ta-da!' She presents two pink and white polka dot tickets with a flourish, the words "Enchanted Adventures" printed in elegant cursive.
'I finally managed to score tickets to that new theme park! Isn't that exciting?'
'Yes...exciting…' His stomach rises to the back of his throat. The very smell of the bacon knots his guts.
Kevir smiles his way through breakfast and the bus journey, nodding along to Autumn's animated chatter. There is only one thing he would rather not do than go to an amusement park, and that would be to disappoint her.
They arrive after a long journey that passed by too quickly. Crowds of people pour in through the gates, surging en-masse to the attractions. Autumn grabs his arm, marionetting him to face away from the park and towards her outstretched phone. 'I want to commemorate this day!'
Autumn's beautiful smile is much more convincing than his in the photo, but she seems satisfied as she posts it to Instagram.
'Come on, let's go!' She leads him by hand into the park. As the name suggests, the theme of fantasy touches everything. Were he not nauseated with nerves, he might find it charming.
'Where should we start? The dancing mushrooms? Luna Lake? Oh, I know!'
Kevir stares up at the ride she leads him to, having to crane his neck higher the closer they get. Beneath a fake mounted dragon head with glowing red eyes that roars at the line of eager riders reads "Flight of the Dragons". Red, orange and yellow streamers arranged to look like fire dance on the breeze on either side. Hearing the cart rush past along with the excited shrieks threatens to eject the minimal contents of his stomach.
'Hey, are you ok?'
His mind once again focuses on Autumn and her words.
'Hmm?'
'Your hands are really sweaty.'
'Just a little hot under the collar, dajy. That's what happens whenever you wear those denim shorts.'
Autumn rolls her eyes. Kevir untangles their fingers to wipe his sweaty palms on his jeans.
Their turn arrives. He is not nearly prepared for this. He wants nothing more than to flee, but he continues forward, movements robotic. Autumn is beside herself with glee, failing to notice her anxious wreck of a boyfriend. The bar slams down with a thud, drawing a whimper from him.
'Kevir?' The cart begins it's slow crawl, though he knows it won't last. 'Are you ok?'
His pulse echoes across his throat. He nods.
'Hey…' She takes his hand. He tightly squeezes hers. 'It'll be fun, you'll see.'
The cart begins its ascent of the first hill. There is the calm at the summit as the dangle above the long, dreadful drop.
Then comes the storm.
Fast, way too fast, the roaring of air in his ears deafening him to his own terrified screams and the overjoyed yells of the other passengers. He doesn’t even register a pair of fingers interlocking with his. There is only his own absolute terror, the overwhelming rush of speed threatening to ravaging his intestines threateningly to spill upwards. Tears form at the corner of his eyes but whether they are a product of the cold air whipping every inch of his face or his own cowardice is impossible to tell.
Soon, mercifully, the ride comes to an end. Kevir's legs are reduced to rubber, jittering with residual adrenaline as he hurries away from the ride, wiping away the moisture from his eyes with his sleeve.
‘Hey,’ Autumn softly rests a hand on his shoulder.
‘Sorry,’ he says, turning to face her, thoroughly ashamed.
‘You should have told me…’
‘You seemed so excited for it. Didn’t want to rain on your parade.’
‘This was supposed to be as much for you as it is for me. Come on, let me make it up to you. I’ll win you one of those black cat plushies! They kinda look like Que…’
Kevir perks up, now back on solid land and seeing the throwing game she mentioned. ‘You know those things are fixed, right?’
Autumn winks, stretching out her interlocked hands in front of her, flexing non-existent muscle. ‘Don’t underestimate how far I’ll go to cheer my boyfriend up.’

It took them less than ten minutes to reach the Warehouse District. The light hadn’t moved, still flashing in the exact same spot. Robin didn’t know if that was a good sign or a bad sign.
They parked in the shadow of a building a few blocks away and traveled the rest of the way by rooftop. All the warehouses around them looked exactly the same. Blocky, metal buildings with bars over the windows. He never would have picked the one they stopped at out of a line-up if it weren’t for the flashing light placed firmly on top of it.
Batman took out a mini blowtorch and cut through the bars of a second-floor window. Robin kept trying to convince B to give him one of those. He guessed it was never gonna happen now.
The window looked dark, but Robin realized as B removed the bars and quietly placed them aside that it wasn’t because there weren’t lights. Rather, black paper had been pasted over the inside of the glass.
With the bars out of the way, Batman quietly pried up the window, and Robin’s eyes were assaulted with color. Way too much color. It was like a funhouse gone wrong. Like a clown had thrown up. Like someone had gone to a party shop and said, just give me all of it. When the initial assault faded, he was able to make out more details—a large red mushroom pillow with white polka dots, a child’s table and tea set, multi-colored croquet mallets. It had an Alice in Wonderland vibe, but cheap, like for a children’s play.
They silently slipped in, creeping along an upper beam. There were at least twenty people milling below. Children, Robin realized. All children. He saw Duchess, and a guy he recognized from his math class. Adrien, he thought. There was an Adrien on Chirp’s list; he hadn’t realized it was the same one.
Another familiar face made him stop in place, falling several steps behind Batman. Shit, that was Tim. The realization hit him like a brick wall. Tim hadn’t been on Chirp’s list, maybe because he was too new, but Robin should have figured it out himself. He’d just taken Chirp’s list as gospel and not thought about it further, not tried to use any of his own reasoning, but of course Tim was one of the kids. He remembered the way Tim had been acting at school earlier that day—there, but not there, like something was off in his head.
B was right. Not about Chirp, but about him. He’d been using Chirp as a crutch, replacing his brain with Chirp’s. He went the direction Chirp gave him, knew the evidence Chirp found, and nothing more. Maybe he had been trying to look smarter or more capable, but he was already smart and capable, and he’d been neglecting his own skills. Who knew what else he’d missed while just accepting that Chirp knew all.
