Sonic having unexpected bits of secondhand expertise that he gets from his friends:

His coding skills wouldn't last a single second against anyone actually competent but he can hack Shadow's Netflix password every time it changes.

He knows how to brew a perfect cup of tea and also how to bake exactly one (1) cake.

Around the specific latitudes that Angel island tends to float around in he goes looking for a particular kind of edible plant that a certain someone showed him how to identify. He likes to snack on it when he's bored.

He's able to estimate the value of a piece of jewelry based off the quality of the gem. Knows the difference between a 'karat' and a 'carat'.

He can look at bullet holes and have a decent guess at the caliber of the gun that shot them. He could also, in a pinch, fully disassemble a HK45 Tactical pistol and put it back together again.

The thing is Honey is Supposed to be unattractive (by conventional standards) to Everyone... Guys who want skinny dudes won't like him, guys who want fat dudes won't like him either and guys who want muscular dudes definitely won't like him, his hair is a mess in a way that isn't really pretty; the point is he's kinda ugly in a failboy loser way... New Just Desserts lore drop and it's about being sick lol #Luckily I am not sick currently :) Y'know how it is with ideas lol they pop up at random #It'll be useful for any future unfortunates :0 Hopefully not too soon!#So >:3c Onto explanations and terminology hehe #Most types of sickness in Just Desserts are referred to as ''Spoiling'' - it acts like an infection that can affect any part of the body #It usually starts inside since residents are technically endothermic - they have immune and waste systems that self-clean and regulate #But like anything these are fallible! Usually if the system(s) get backed up or overwhelmed - or caught! Spoiling is contagious #It's pretty hard to catch tho unless it progresses to the skin which is pretty rare - or if infected blood gets into an uninfected system #Again! Hard to just accidentally happen! But not impossible #The best thing a Spoiled resident can do is rest - cool down - and eat foods rich in protein :)#Which is like the JD equivalent of bitter medicine lol - the stereotype of ''Ew Broccoli''? Yeah everyone in the JD universe feels that way #Ironic since I love broccoli but it's icky-bitter to JD residents! Haha - candied vegetables are an acquired-enjoyable taste tho :)#And carrots are obviously a very popular ingredient lol #But yeah - a lot of JD things are the opposite of how humans do like staying warm to fight sickness #Staying warm will make Spoiling progress faster and overwhelm a resident's system! The best thing to do is rest somewhere cold #Spoiling is much less common in winter as you can imagine :)#And just like Melting some foods are less prone to Spoiling than others - it's a bit less straightforward than Melting tho lol #Partially because it depends way more on the life habits of the resident rather than their inherent traits #But some foods are unusually delicate! And some keep forever! It's not dependent on ''soft'' foods or even sugar content!#Preservatives aren't really a thing in the JD universe - antibodies? Lol - and all residents are ''fresh'' food because they're regenerative #They're also all adults from the get-go so cell reproduction and body health....It's all a thing it's all a thing lol #The important part is that they can get sick but they can also heal themselves - and when they can't there's medicine and magic! :D #Like when the Candymer got a cut that went down to her air pocket! I was born and raised here in the states and still culture shock is so real likerjfjdkdj I’m always taken aback by v evident individualist attitudes/behaviors expressed by some non-Latinos like wdym pay you back for the single slice of pizza you offered me 😭😭😭

#one of the many things I really love ab being Mexican is the give > receive attitude many people adhere to #come one come all !!!!#We love sharing. and treating each other to meals #like acts of service is the love language for many Latinos I’m pretty sure lol #it always shocked me in school when my friends would hide food from their own siblings or refuse to share with anyone #at my house it’s pm everybody eats or no one does lmaoo #And familial love and affection is so real!#also the expectation of moving out at 18 and being completely self sufficient at that age isn’t rlly a thing for us #and I know a lot of this isn’t particular to just Latinos bc I have heard from ppl of other ethnic groups who share the same sentiments #nonsims #txt post

really didn't realize quite how much i was catering my life to like. my head hurting and also just general body feel for running. until i am like. not doing those things.

#literally like so much shit gets me feeling bad too much fried food too much sugar which sucks bc I love sugar.#variable eating times is ok but I don't think does me well with the other stuff #my phone + florescent lights r always like not great when im already not feeling great but rn the lights r unavoidable #and my self control for phone is bad...#im pretty straightedge generally as well but that's kinda more cuz im a control freak #well ig this stuff is also cuz im a control freak #Anyway having a low grade freakout or whatever and also my head hurts.#Just gotta get home.#I'm like.
