SO with the fact that we got Helluva Boss episode 4 of season 2, I wanna talk about the next episode to come! Which I am 95% sure is gonna include Fizzarolli, I wanna share my thoughts on a few thing we know! Even if I'm wrong and the episode has nothing to do with my precious Fizzarolli. I'm still gonna share my thoughts on a few scenes involving what we are expected to see! :D

As expected, there are spoilers for certain things, such as episode 7 of Helluva Boss and the upcoming episode where we are supposedly gonna see Fizzarolli again.

Episode 7, House of Asmodeus Song

First off, I think its an ongoing discussion of the interpretation of Asmodeus's words towards Stolas and his relationship with Blitz, and this is how I see it.

Of course we get the line of "I hope you didn't give it up, so you and him could get it up" which yeah, obviously leads everyone to the assumption that he is shaming Stolas, but honestly, I think it was a rhetorical question and that he knew absolutely knew that Stolas did, kind of give up a part of his life for Blitz.

The main reason for that thinking is because of his next line which is "You sold your life for a thrust!" Now stating he gave it up, as a fact. of course this is only addressing the first part, and I was analyzing the scene i noticed a part that had them in a background, where Verosika is talking about Blitz being terrible partner in bed. To which you see Ozzie lean over and kinda just nudge Fizz, which makes me immediately think that Fizzarolli has probably talked to Asmodeus about how Blitzo was if we were to say they were in some kind of relationship.

To add on to that, even if it wasn't anything romantic OR sexual, Fizz could have also talked to Ozzie about how Blitz didn't give as much energy in a friendship as Fizz did, seeing as one of the scenes in the trailer Fizz seems excited for something while Blitzo seems less so. But due to certain scenes like Fizz dipping Blitz down in a dance and possible musical number, I am belief there was probably a romantic relationship in the past, then again I do have the believe that his love language is touch, so maybe it isn't platonic, or maybe it is and his love language is touch :D

So basically I'm thinking when he was singing "So you and him could get it up" he could easily have been just referring to Blitz and judging Stolas as his chosen partner for giving up his "smoking wife", and his kid.

Next line to the song is "Now that's the spirit of lust" which honestly was the reason I've dug so deep into this so I can explain why I viewed this the way I do. So adding the other lines together, "I hope you didn't give it up so you and him could get it up, You sold your life for a thrust! Now that's the spirit of lust" , It is Ozzie praising Stolas for giving into lust and feeling it almost the same way Ozzie does.

Upcoming Episode discussion

Now then, time for slight spoilers for what is upcoming in the episode where we see Fizzarolli and Asmodeus again!

Most of us have seen the trailer containing the scene where we see in the news "KING OF OZZ A HYPOCRITE??"

A lot of people have also assumed the reason for Asmodeus being called a hypocrite was because Asmodeus was also with an imp, but even without my argument about the interpretation of Ozzie's words at Ozzies, I feel it should have been a little obvious he was being called a hypocrite due to the fact he seemed so lovey-dovey with a demon, considering he is the King of lust and has made it evident to the rest of hell he doesn't enjoy anything to do with love and such.

I don't think I have much else to say but I'm also thinking that the episodes with Barbie wire are ALSO connected to the episode with Fizzarolli, mainly because in one scene it sort of looks like Moxxie is singing, while in an outfit you see him wear while pushing back against Barbie wire trying to get someone else, and because of the scenes where Fizz looks like he's also singing.

Also because it gives Blitzo more of a reason to seek FIzz out, as we see him confront Fizz where he's wearing his green glasses, before that teaser we see FIzz wearing those glasses on a stage where he shoots out firework like things. So I think that after the performance Blitz talks to him and probably mentions either the newspaper, or Barbie, maybe even both and that lead to the scene in the car. Or Blitz just broke in, but I think he was invited.

Lots of possibilities but with or without FIzz and Barbie in the same episode, I am so excited to see Rolli again!

the fact that jaskier tries to pull away the second he sees rience reach for him. he tries. he fucking tries. even if he knows he can't move his hand more than a few inches he fucking tries out of sheer terror.

but rience still grabs his hand anyway. of course he does. jaskier never had a chance of avoiding this and both of them know it.

but you see how fucking hard rience squeezes jaskier's fingers.

you see how tightly he grips jaskier's hand, even if it's barely a second before his grip relaxes (and in the clip you can hear him hiss in pain). it's not even a necessary movement, since Jaskier would never have been able to evade his grip; it's very clearly a nonverbal command to stop resisting.

and it works.

jaskier keeps his hand stretched out. he stops trying to evade it. he knows rience will do this and he's too terrified (and exhausted from previous torture) to evade it anymore. because he knows it wont work.

and once jaskier's hand relaxes, rience's grip loosens again. he's not even gripping Jaskier's hand anymore. because he knows he doesn't need to. because he knows jaskier won't pull away again.

at this point all rience has to do is just. keep his own hand opened up to keep jaskier's fingers outstretched and laying on his. he's relaxed. he's almost absentminded about it. because he can be at this point.

because jaskier won't pull away even when he sees rience conjure the flame that he knows he will use on his hand.

i just. the way rience emphasizes his control over the situation by making jaskier keep his hand still even though he fully fucking understands what rience is going to do. he's literally holding what makes jaskier who he is in his fingertips and fully intends to destroy it and knows he can hold it gently because there will be so little resistance. because he has already terrified and tormented and shaken jaskier so badly that all he needed to do was squeeze his hand to get him to stop resisting. I'm just. I'm so sick.

I think its really telling in a way that Soren after Arc 1 really gravitated to Corvus instead of anyone else.

We know Soren isn't really fond of magic (this is something that is present in even the concept art), it doesn't seem to matter if its primal or dark he sees magic as the source of conflict and pain.

A lot of the times he's just generally uncomfortable around magic.

But even after he runs away from his dad and leaves Claudia he's still largely surrounded by magic.

Callum is learning all forms of magic, he took Soren's father's former office and in his pursuit of knowledge has dipped into even the dark magic text left behind.

Ezran can talk to animals including dragons, he does so on a regular biases and has a psychic connection to the prince of dragons himself.

Rayla is a Moonshadow assassin who can make herself disappear with magic, by birthright connected to a primal source of magic and owns a Star Monkey who can summon magically portals.

But Corvus? Corvus likes scavenger hunts and tying knots his hobbies are baking and writing music. He has absolutely no interest in magic and raises his eyebrow when Callum talks about it.

He's, well, normal.

And I think Soren was drawn to that especially after growing up with a dad, sister, and grandpa figure who all practiced a form of magic that involved a lot of torture and death.

Corvus is around his age, likes to work out, is a warrior like him who can train with him, listens to him talk, but most importantly he doesn't care for magic.

Keep making the Binghorse. We gotta ward off people from entering this fandom. We need to keep it pure. I fr don't want this fandom to become famous. I'm scared that there will be toxic fans left and right.

HAHA I absolutely understand the sentiment. I feel a bit contradictory since I want more people to appreciate SVSSS, but the at the same time I like small tight knit communities and I personally can’t handle large fandoms whatsoever. 😭

Although I do feel as though describing the SVSSS as pure is very funny for how lawless this fandom is. But behavior wise, it is definitely a very positive and supportive space!! I haven’t met anyone or seen anything unpleasant since I’ve entered the fandom. Albeit, it’s only been a few months since I’ve started interacting with the fandom, and over half a year since I first read SVSSS, so I have no clue what horror stories the SVSSS fandom has. (I honestly haven’t interacted with that many SVSSS fans tbh…. Even though I want to.)

In addition, funny enough, I feel as though the book almost acts as its own barrier of entry. SVSSS isn’t the type of book you can read once unless you’re good at reading against the grain and noticing all the nuances and subtext. I know the first time I read SVSSS, SVSSS disturbed and confused me so badly. I talked to a few other people who read SVSSS once, who said that LBH and SQQ’s relationship felt like Stockholm syndrome. But people who’ve read SVSSS several times will know, that is not the case, and that SQQ is an INSANELY UNRELIABLE narrator.

I honestly find it funny how effective Binghorse or all the other skin creatures is at filtering toxic fans.��

There’s always a general reaction to the skin creatures: “Omg, cute!!”, “wtf, but I like it”, “wtf”. Or getting blocked, or death threats. (I haven’t received any…? I don’t think…? One message I received is definitely debatable since I can’t tell if it’s sarcastic or not….😭)

But regardless, I’ll definitely keep drawing Binghorse!!! It’s actually really enjoyable!

So obviously Kristoph's pettiness is terrifying because of what he does as a result of it (murders two people and attempts to murder a 12 year old) but what manages to be even scarier to me is how fucking paranoid Kristoph is.

I've mentioned it before but I actually discussed Kristoph with my brother once (I didn't tell him we were talking about Ace Attorney but he was quick to catch on lol) and we both agree that as bad as the crimes Kristoph was found out for, it's very possible there are crimes he wasn't caught on.

Well, it just occurred to me that canonically, there IS another crime he committed and wasn't caught for: stalking. I don't remember if it's ever made explicitly clear in Apollo Justice, but at the absolute least it's implied that Kristoph was so fucking paranoid after Zak's trial that he was stalking everyone involved in the case. Stalking is a crime, and one that we know Kristoph committed but was never brought to court. Frankly, he's lucky, because the fact that he killed two of the people he was stalking and tried to kill another would've been. Not great for his sentence.

I NEED to do an analysis on Kristoph at some point. I don't know when I'll do it, but I need to do an analysis/essay on how fucked up Kristoph is. I wasn't initially intending to do an analysis on Kristoph because I didn't even know where to start (so basically I was very much in the same boat as every Ace Attorney character to interact with Kris, in that ever since I first thought of doing an analysis on Kristoph I've been like "well, I don't know if I'd even be able to analyze him coherently considering how fucked up Kristoph's fucking brain is") but I've found that analysis essays are like my way of following through with "I want to study this character in a lab" so. It's metaphorical study-Kristoph-Gavin-in-a-lab time lol

something about Blitz gearing up for a fight, because he thought stolas would fight back. Blitz has had this wrong idea of Stolas in his head this whole time: untouchable, uncaring, playing with his feelings. If you only see the scenes of interaction with Blitz and block out every scene of turmoil and emotion, it's kind of easy to see things from Blitz's perspective.

Because Stolas really is supremely stronger than Blitz, and that's confirmed to him in Truth Seekers when he sees his real demon form. That confession scene to Blitz was literally all wrong: too soft, too caring. Obviously a sexual roleplay of some kind and if he got the wrong idea then he was the fool.

When he understands what Stolas is saying his first reaction is anger but specifically at Stolas saying "that's enough to know what this is" because...why the fuck can you choose for both of us what this is? aren't you gonna give me like two seconds to consider this? You're not even gonna let me express myself bc my opinion is worth nothing to you etc.

So he gets angry about something more pressing that comes to him quicker than understanding, which is Stolas' usual treatment of imps in his presence or how he feels smaller and used.

Then he straight up gears up for a fight with "Let's go!". What he probably imagined Stolas to say back was some kind of possessive pretentious thing or even to attack him: because Blitz has felt more like his property, at the hands of a puppeteer so much stronger than him.

But that's the thing, he doesn't know how Stolas truly is, how kind he actually is. So just at the very end when he cries he understands that all this image he's built up of him in his head is wrong. not only can he get hurt physically, but emotionally too.

You know what I love the most about this panel?

That no matter if your a Navier fan or a Rashta fan it pisses you off. Because this is an image where once again Sovieshu is imagining both Navier and Glorym together where she's the mom even though she stated multiple times she doesn't want to raise another woman's child and it continues to displace Rashta as just another womb to pop out a baby for Sovieshu to take from her because he convenientally leaves her out of his visions of everyone he considers special in his life.

Hes even imagining this with Navier in her divorce dress for christ sake, as if she'd see that baby during the divorce trial and be like "oh cute this is worth getting back into an abusive relationship"

This man really is the common enemy. No matter how much Navier fans and Rashta fans split the fandom in two with a civil war over which character is better we can at least come to the agreement that Sovieshu was always the problem.

Anybody catch this before? In Let The Games Begin, Rory lies to Lorelai about when and why she removed Dean's bracelet (aka the dreaded Quarter On A String).

Here's Rory, still very much wearing the bracelet, in the opening scene of the episode. (This is immediately prior to her amazing "hi hi hi hi" scene with Jess 🥰)

I like to think that as soon as Rory had this delightful exchange with Jess, the bracelet disintegrated off her wrist from the sheer force of her wanting him so badly. ANYWAY.

The very next scene is a Friday Night Dinner several nights later, where she is plainly NOT wearing the bracelet:

She is also NOT wearing the bracelet during her adorably awkward near-kiss with Jess in the diner apartment. I tried to take a screenshot but my brain kept short-circuiting from all the cuteness.

Then, on the morning of her Yale visit - which is about a week later, according to dialogue - Rory says this:

Very interesting, Miss Gilmore! Because according to my calculations, that bracelet has been off your wrist for at LEAST a week, probably closer to two.

It might be a coincidence, but I don't think so... those first two scenes make a pretty big point to show us her left wrist. I wonder if this is supposed to signify a change between how Rory handled her relationships? She told Lorelai every little thing about Dean, certainly including updates about that damn bracelet. But with Jess... the moment they start dating, she's keeping their relationship mostly between them and doesn't include Lorelai.

It's a healthy boundary for Rory to set between her and Lorelai, but it also involved Rory lying about a trivial event. What a perfect demonstration of the ways that her relationship with Jess was more grown up AND more dysfunctional from the start.
