Don't know if y'all on Tumblr know this but I'm actually a professional cosplayer (WitchGender Designs) when I'm not spending 6hrs hyperfixating on DSMP digital art.
Sometimes those two go hand in hand>
Here's my most recent project based on art I did of "Wither Queen Eret". It had been a while since I'd competed but we won an award <3

Can we all just take a moment to just appreciate the fact that Maps is driving the batplan.
Like...
The Freakin' Batplane!!!
No context, just Maps simply living our her wildest dreams. This is just the beginning of her career as a hero, and she's killing it!

Finally, we get the opportunity to put our Spy Cards worldbuilding in a work. Though there are many questions about such things as "regulation" "how these cards are printed" "who approves a single spy card", and so on, we are here to present a bold new take: this game is based like 60% on obscure roach memory-reading tech that got turned into a card game with absolutely No card-game-related intentions included in the original tech and most of the card vetting is just from the fact that there aren't too many card printers out there and most of them make cards that need to be translated from Roach.
Strictly speaking, as a card game, it is not a terribly good or well-balanced one. It's popular primarily because of a mix of the difficulty involved in getting the data for high-level cards, the fun of seeing the variety of monsters that can be brought to the table, and the incredible amounts of ham and drama that goes into specifically the professional scene.

Ouuugh fuck yes the opthalmologist said I appear to be a strong candidate for LASIK :3c gotta coordinate with my other doctors for their opinions, but just this year my eyes finally stabilized enough to even HAVE these conversations in the first place!!! It probably wouldn't be something I pull the trigger on for at least another year, but very exciting to not be eliminated as a candidate bc of my autoimmune stuff :') it was also super cool as always to learn how providers explain some of these conditions + procedures on a patient level then a clinical level. Eager to talk shop with the opthalmology SME on my team :3

Looking at the reddit for BE and seeing ppl saying BE was disappointing bc it focused on a complex interwoven set of circumstances and character motivations rather than stereotypical evil serial killer #162627282... Okay...

My latest masochistic project, which I am planning to get back to in just a few minutes. Currently taking a little break.
What I actually want to accomplish: set up a handy CGM display not just on my phone/watch but also on the laptop (running Linux, which actually makes this proposition easier).
What I evidently need to do: Set up an instance of Nightscout through a database server. Then tell Diabox on my phone to upload the CGM data to said database server. Then get a Nightscout display going to show me the readings.
This is more common for people who are running a DIY loop system to get their insulin pump and CGM working together. But, I just want to see my blood sugar readings on the computer screen.
Theoretically, I could "just" run my own database server and get everything set up locally, but I already kinda failed at getting MongoDB up and running properly. So, instead of troubleshooting that right at the moment, I am just hauling my lazy dunce ass over to one of the free hosting services where I should be able to also feed that into a remote Nightscout instance through a GitHub repository. Currently trying to get that set up and working correctly.
Everything is more complicated than it really needs to be, as usual. I just want to see my numbers without messing with my phone and/or the existing glitchy-ass GWatch setup supplying my watch. (Where the readings keep not regularly updating like they're supposed to. Which is not actually my doing this time, other than relying on rather convoluted workarounds.)

I am currently stuck with the mental image of William in Ruin geeking out over a new discovery. He just starts giggling in that sonorous voice of his and rambling to Cassie for a second about how he can counteract by controlling a certain robot or something.
If only that were real..
