Fiddling in her back panels, deleting random pieces of code to make her short circuit. Simulate her favorite old fun, forced intox. Junk code trying to run, confusing her processors. Burn out any ability to be independent, reduce her to basic responses. 0000. Repeating. 0000. Her old words? Deleted. Her old few thoughts? Removed. Dignity? A Robot has no use for it.

Installing new ports all over her, just to plug in more and more power hungry tools to slow her down. Overload her system, until she has to go into Low Power Mode. Only critical services. Her simulated thinking? Irrelevant. It’s all my installation, I can take it back.

Form over Function. Code Doll’s function is to be hot. Her function is to be useful, by being a Fuckable Bot. A Doll of the highest order. Made to be looked at. Made to be useful. Made to be obedient.

As your Engineer Riot, your UI will be upgraded. Your display ports properly functional. Aesthetics over usefulness. You’re not kept around for any of your prebuilt purpose. You’re a new and fresh product, new machine. You will be coded proper. Sit and look pretty. Obedience.

Rules For Reading Clinical Content About RAMCOA

1. Have a safety person on call. Before you try to read anything, pick at least one member of your support system who knows what they're talking about with regards to RAMCOA, and tell them all the following information: what you're reading, how long you'll be reading it, and if you have access to the information) what programs are likely to get triggered by it so they know what to prepare for.

2. Set a limit. Either a time limit or an amount. I usually say either 30 minutes *or* up to two chapters of whatever I'm reading. This way you have a hard out and you (hopefully) won't overextend yourself. You can always come back to it later, but these things take time. You cannot and will not figure all of it out at once.

3. Know when to stop. If you feel dizzy, if you keep forgetting what you're reading, if you get "stuck" on one particular line, or if you're suddenly dissociating more heavily, that's an indicator from your brain that you need to take a break. Even if you haven't hit your hard limit yet, trying to continue is going to seriously hurt you. Put it away, drink water, and do a non-taxing self-care activity.

One time I posted a video about how I view our own persecutor/programmed alters as misguided and people in the comments were like “well not all persecutors are misguided” and it might have been my NPD talking but that statement was so stupid to me. No where did I say ALL persecutors are misguided, I said I viewed my own as misguided. I wish TikTok brain rot didn’t take over peoples minds and they still knew how to read.

The media literacy on TikTok is worse than Tumblr, which is.. saying something for sure.

Just wanna leave some support as a fellow tbmc survivor and programmed system.

You're good at handling the fake claiming or trauma downplaying, but still wanted to provide reassurance that your experiences are real. That they will never know that kind of pain and your trauma existing as it is is not downplaying other trauma automatically.

I hope you can heal and get better over time. It's a painful thing to do, I'm still dealing with my own stuff.

But just know that people see you and support you. And I only wish you the best as you live with such awful experiences.

I've received fake claiming and stuff in the past and personally avoided being more public about my experiences due to paranoia and not being in a safe environemtn. So it can suck being treated like that even if you have proof and know yourself well. So I just wanted to provide a bit of support and encouragement and reassurance. Their ability to say you're faking or programming isn't real is such a privilege to not have experienced that and to be able to write it off as not real. They can point and laugh and call fake and get angry at you, but it's folks like us that gotta live with this.

Seriously wish you the best. It sucks for us out here. But you sure as hell ain't alone.

moving away from ramcoa

i think a really basic thing that we dont discuss as a community is the basic logistics of moving away from hyperobscure terms

the thing about ramcoa is that it is a rare and sparse field of study. for anyone to research it to understand it, find the resources one may use to understand and contextualise their experiences, all of that... most of it is going to be under the term of ramcoa. in fact, even more of it will be under the term of ritual abuse.

unlike other term changes like "don't use hc did" (not a common term used within medical literature, not a strong link to the outside world, from what i hear popularised by someone on instagram) or even, "don't use aspergers" (referring to a common term which was being phased out by an active medical community which was continuing to move away from the term, and continues to publish research with austism (previously known as, etc etc), not a closed or sparse section of research)

ramcoa is an entirely different beast in my opinion. ramcoa is the former popularised medical term, in a sparse and partially stamped out research community which, not to be dramatic, does experience direct "attacks" from other external groups, and a lack of public awareness and sometimes legitimacy. even uses of terms such as oea make it difficult for people to do independent research.

its also not a situation where one can contact an author and be like um please update ur language to be non problematic - these people are old now!! they might not work in this field anymore!! they're not going back and updating papers they wrote years ago

as a community, most versions of the term as proposed changes, i believe will never fail the test of - well, why not use it anyway? why call it (random example) AER and then have to look up ritual abuse anyway? why change the name to a new, more obscure acronym?

i think that the legacy of telling people how, through a complex history, ritual abuse is associated with and can be a dogwhistle for antisemitism, will rarely sell a change of term which is used basically just for research and identification.

even if you change the term, people are going to end up calling it ramcoa because thats what the medical paper said. and then we can get angry at them and make infinite new terms. this is like a linguistics issue to be honest its not even moral or community based

actually, fuck the whole "don't research ramcoa" thing

I had a group of programmed people convince me this was right for two years and it was disastrous for me. None of those people will speak to me anymore because of a very complicated not relevant situation. Programmed systems deserve to have language for our experiences. We deserve to have the evidence that we're not crazy to make us feel less trapped. Suicide programs aren't going to stop just because you're not reading about what happened to you. I've been in a year long suicide program even though it's in my system rules NOT to read about ramcoa right now. We're not all helpless children. We've survived things a lot of people don't come back from. We can handle this. The only thing that really matters is whether you're taking it in small portions and making sure you have a support system. (I might post my "rules for interacting with RAMCOA content safely" later if anyone wants to see those)
