if you set a timer to nap suguru will absolutely sabotage you.

let me set the scene. you're getting comfortable laying on his chest his arms secured around you and your eyes closing with a content hum and then suddenly your like 'oh hold on' and grab your phone to set a timer then promptly explain that you have something to do so you don't wanna oversleep during your nap and end up losing time.

but you're so tired, he knows a short nap won't be enough rest though, he says nothing. you get comfortable on his chest again, your cheeks smooshed against his skin and doze off shortly after thanks to the soothing hand at your back and head and the warmth of his skin. when you're asleep this man will fully just grab your phone and cancel the timer, that way, you get all the rest your body needs undisturbed and wake up when your ready.

if it's assignments or notes or anything really that he can do for you, then he will do it for you. taking neat concise notes for you, or finishing up your research paper. no this is not a violation of academic integrity because you are his baby. you are his person and he is yours so to anyone else you may as well be the same person, and anyway he isn't plagiarizing or cheating. suguru does a really good job actually.

when you wake up later, dry eyes slowly blinking away the sleep and readjusting to the light. the skin of your cheek turned pink from how long it's been resting against him softly greeting him in a small raspy voice. when you wake up enough to realize the timer hadn't gone off and reach over to your phone to check the time, the sleep leaves you so fast. you're frenzied, panicked, confused. as if you've been splashed with cold water. suddenly awake and upset about all the time you had wasted what about the timer? how are you supposed to finish everything now?? only for you to find everything done and neatly organized for you to look over, anything with a tight deadline? already sent in.

oh. well.. now that you have nothing that urgently needs your attention (besides him) you can lay back down on his chest and continue where you left off 🙂‍↕️

I think an underrated angle on 2x05 is something that either Jacob or Assad said in some interview somewhere, which is that in that episode Louis is addicted to heroin. Thats why he has that whole stash of drugs that he gives to Daniel, that's why he gives Daniel the drugs even though he's already got him alone. He didn't just use those 128 boys for sex he was using them to get high. Bring them home, get them to shoot up, and then drain them to get that secondhand high.

It clarifies something that's always confused me about that scene, which is why Armand saves Daniel the first time. He wouldn't save Daniel as a person, he clearly knows Daniel needs to die, but he's not seeing Daniel as a person there. Daniel is just a substance. He rips him away from Louis to stop him from using.

And i think that adds a whole other layer to the fight he and Armand have to think that this is Louis on a bender, with Armand cleaning up after him because he's not stable enough to. Louis in the bed for a week isn't just healing from the burns, he's going through withdrawal. Him at the table with Daniel giving him the "bright young reporter" speech is probably the first time he's been sober in months.

It adds another layer to Armand's desperation, that Louis has been running from both Armand and himself in this way, and of course Armand wants to erase that memory. Of course he wants to pretend that that fight never happened. Not just to protect himself but in a way to protect Louis from having said those things. When he describes the fight to Louis afterwards, he says "you said the worst things you've ever said to me." And he doesn't really know how to forgive Louis for that so he just wants to bury this rock-bottom moment and move on like it never happened. After all, Louis was high, he didn't really mean it, but if he remembers then maybe he might think that he had a point. Better to wipe the whole experience away.

Pro-endos: Name a single doctor that has said you need a disorder or trauma to be plural. Anti-endos: *Lists off some random names* Pro-endos: Cool. Can you cite where they actually said that? Anti-endos: Now you want PROOF instead of just taking our word for it? How dare you move the goalposts by asking us to prove our claims? We gave you random names and now it's your responsibility to educate yourself by combing through literally everything these doctors have said through their whole lives until you either find something that proves us right or your mortal coil expires and rots away.

I get being annoyed by legitimate moving of goalposts. I often am myself because sysmeds love this as their go-to tactic. I'd be able to buy Twitter if I had a penny for every time a sysmed asked for evidence of a doctor being pro-endo, and then when given proof, makes up some stupid reason it doesn't count.

I've seen "Dr. Eric Yabrough doesn't count because he's an LGBT psychiatrist and doesn't specialize in dissociative disorders," "Dr. Colin Ross doesn't count because he's studied some weird things in addition to having 40 years of experience studying dissociative disorders," "these psychologists who conducted an fMRI study on tulpamancy don't count because the psychologists were talking about it on Reddit," "research on tulpamancy is irrelevant because people on the internet told me tulpamancy is an offensive word," "only .edu/.gov are valid sources," "sources older than ten/five/two/whatever-number-I-make-up years are expired and no longer count," and so many other ridiculous excuses to dismiss professional opinions on endogenic systems. Sysmeds love moving goalposts.

But... I feel that, when asked to name anti-endo doctors... being able to cite the specific quote should be the bare minimum. Providing evidence should be inherently implied as part of the assignment.

And if you're unable to do that and resort to an ad hominem, accusing the person asking of being ableist in order to shut them up, I'm going to assume that it's because you're lying.

Because in theory, if you knew where these doctors had said the things you're claiming they said, you would be able to cite it.

In the end, moving goalposts is typically about demanding new evidence when the initial standards of evidence set by the discussion are met. If an anti-endo asks for a doctor that has said you can be plural without trauma, and you provide one with a citation, you've satisfied those goalposts with evidence.

If a pro-endo asks for you to name a doctor who has said you can't be plural without trauma, and you drop names with no citations, you still have no evidence. You're making an Argument By Assertion. Commonly known on the internet as a "trust me bro."

And expecting the person asking the questions to comb through the massive bibliographies of the doctors you named just to find where they said what you claim they said is shifting the burden of proof.

I can't see these sorts of tactics by anti-endos as anything more than bad faith attempts at shutting down discussions.

He's not only used to it, but so comfortable with the uncomfortable that he can't even imagine changing it, so used to this glamour that he doesn't even know where to start considering something else

That shirt that costs more than most people make in a week? Well yeah ofc he has 10 of them, what else would he wear?

Why would he buy a new pillow, he has one at home filled with the most exquisite and soft feathers

Of course he's using this body scrub you can only get through special order, they know him there! They prepare his order monthly, he doesn't even have to think, just sign in, click a few buttons, and it'll show up just the way he's used to!

But that shirt always leaves him a bit itchy, he'll be absentmindedly scratching at his neck all day,
