I wish I could coherently and non-offensively word a statement regarding my frustrations with the sheer amount of otherkin content in the fictive tags.

So I won't.

Do not EVER compare kinning and being a fictive around me. I WILL tear you open from the inside out about it, and it WILL get dirty!

I was not reincarnated. I was not a "walk in" or "lost soul" or whatever. No. Our host needed sincere help and latched onto me as a comfort character, and now I'm here to help keep her alive. My fucking EXISTENCE is based around SURVIVAL, and because of this, almost all of my source memories are TRAUMATIC.

I have no identity beyond my trauma at times. Do you not see how scary that is? That the only reason I exist is because we reached another breaking point, and we wouldn't have been able to handle living without me?

I know what kinning is. I get it. Do NOT get it twisted that I'm misunderstanding what being fictionkin is like. Our old host is fictionkin. Our current cohost is fictionkin. The reincarnation theories, the source memories, everything. Of all people, we understand the most.

Remembering shit that didn't happen to you in this life is stressful, yes, but your experiences will not EVER compare to your brain covering up something that happened to you in a way that makes it easy enough to digest so that you don't short circuit, because if it doesn't appear to have happened to your body, it didn't happen at all in your mind to help cope.

This is NOT a discourse post. This is more of a PSA. If you're talking about a UNIQUELY KIN EXPERIENCE, STOP putting it with system tags, I'm BEGGING.

Anyone else ever wonder about this Rick? I have so many questions. Who is that chick he's hitting on? Strange that they're presumably in space, but she's a human? I suppose she could be a shape-shifter- but this is the least of my questions.

Like how old is he supposed to be? I assumed by the eye bags he's supposed to be old, but C-137 was still presumably in his 40s, maybe 50s at this point, when he splattered this poor, hot, possibly innocent Rick's face all over a definitely innocent woman's face.

Judging by his skull tat, (as well as other parts of Rick's crybaby backstory flashback,) the Counsel of Ricks already exists. How is the counsel of Ricks a thing when C-137 supposedly becomes the founding father later? They meant in all conceivable multiverses, didn't they? Did this one travel back in time? This again makes me wonder what C-137's real issue with it is. And what was this Rick's connection to C-137's revenge rampage beyond getting killed by him?

Anyway, I'd love someone to try to sleuth a plausible solution to these questions with me. 🧐 Or if not, just appreciate how hot this fallen Rick from C-137's history was, as I decided to draw him and chick there with a happy ending- loosely inspired by history. 🙃
