1 • he loves hot showers, so hot to the point he feels like his skin is melting off. they relieve all the pressure and stress he felt that day.

2 • very obvious but he is a heavy drinker- it just makes everything in his head quiet which is why he abuses alcohol.

3 • ANGER ISSUES!!! this man has no self control when he’s in a heated moment. he just lashes out and releases all his pent up anger on someone or something whether it’s physical or verbal, he has no shame. UNTIL the aftermath when he’s drinking away the pain.

4 • concerts are HIS THING. he lovesss being in the pit with a crowd just screaming songs for hours, just dancing under the lights and dancing around. he’s reallyyy in his element here. concert basher 4L

5 • the smiths, the 1975, chase atlantic, the evermore album by TS, sleeping at last, post malone, cold play, TV girl, arctic monkeys, the neighbourhood, frank ocean, brent faiyaz… are all part of his go to playlist.

6 • he’s allergic to cats but he loves them so much, always friendly with the cats around school and pets them in secret. he really wants a black cat named auggie but he’s having trouble finding a black hypoallergenic cat :/

7 • theo is his ride or die. he loves that man more than anything in the world. (apart from me…)

8 • this man can draw??? he draws things he finds beautiful, his journal is full of his thoughts that surround his drawings, kind of like captions but it’s what he felt at the time. hyacinths and bluebells, british shorthair and ragdoll cats, oak and spruce trees, and outlines of students in the hall that pass him just fill the pages of his journal.

“riddle literally changed my life.” those words had always carried a special meaning for you, being related to mattheo, the boy who made you feel complete. ever since the two of you started dating, life seemed to be unfolding perfectly and the two of you were the happiest together.

you never imagined that those words would take on another signification. when mattheo’s older brother, tom, transferred to hogwarts, things became different. where mattheo was warm and understanding, tom was the opposite : cold, arrogant, and always looking for ways to make others feel small. mattheo hadn’t even mentioned his brother until tom showed up on the first day of sixth year, and you quickly understood why.

even though they were brothers, mattheo and tom couldn’t have been more different. while mattheo tried to shield you from the world, tom seemed determined to break down whatever walls you’d built. you’d always struggled with anxiety, but you’d learned to hide it behind a mask of confidence. it worked with most people, but your boyfriend saw right through it and unfortunately, so did his older sibling.

it started with little comments here and there , barely noticeable at first but enough to make your smile drop. tom seemed to enjoy aiming for your weaknesses, knowing exactly where to strike, obviously not fond of his brother being in love with someone. mattheo tried to keep him away from you and threatened him so that he’d stay away from you, but tom always found a way to make his presence known.

one morning in the great hall, you were sitting with mattheo and trying to focus on your breakfast while pretending you weren’t hyper aware of every person around you. it was one of those days where the anxiety felt more present than usual, making you fidget with the rings on your fingers and bouncing your knee under the table. you forced yourself to smile and act like everything was fine, but your boyfriend’s reassuring hand on your thigh was a proof that he saw right through you.

tom walked in, looking as sinister as usual. his dark eyes scanned the room until they landed on you and a smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth as he approached, looking . “morning, mattheo, morning…” he spoke roughly, pausing as if he’d forgotten your name on purpose. “you look… different today,” he said, his tone dripping with false politeness. “trying a new look, or just didn’t have time to put in the effort?”

the words hit you like a slap. feeling too anxious today, you hadn’t bothered paying as much attention to your hair and makeup as usual. still, you looked dashingly beautiful in the eyes of everyone here, except yours and well… tom’s. your mask of confidence cracked but you quickly forced a smile, trying to brush it off. “just felt like being casual,” you said with a steady voice but mattheo knew better.

he could see the way your hands were trembling slightly and how your eyes flickered with unease before you quickly looked away. mattheo’s expression darkened as he turned to his brother. “knock it off, tom,” he growled, his voice low and firm. “stay away from her, she doesn’t need your comments.”

tom raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying the tension he’d caused. “just making conversation,” he said innocently, though the glint in his eyes told a different story. mattheo shifted closer to you and interlinked your fingers together under the table, giving your hand a reassuring squeeze. “ignore him,” he whispered, his voice gentle. “he’s just trying to get under your skin.”

you nodded, being grateful for his support but the anxiety still gnawed at you. “i’m fine,” you lied, trying to keep up the facade but he wasn’t fooled. “you don’t have to be,” he said quietly as he brushed over your knuckles gently with your thumb “not with me.”

his words broke through the wall you’d put up, and you felt a wave of emotion wash over you. “it’s just… hard, and your dickhead brother isn’t making it easier.” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. “i know,” mattheo replied, his gaze softening as he looked at you. “he just hates to see me happy,” he admitted to you, “we weren’t raised to believe we could be loved, he doesn’t like the fact that i have you now.”

tom had moved on, losing interest when he didn’t get the reaction he wanted but mattheo stayed by your side grounding you in the moment. with him there, the anxiety slowly began to fade, replaced by the comfort his presence and love for you. you chuckled, “i’m glad i picked you… although why is he kinda… ”

୨୧ ࣪ 𓈒 — SOME OF MY VERNON SHIFTING SCENARIOS a/n : I always struggle to find the right words when it comes to writing about vernon because his emotional range is as limited as a cactus bro

ೀㅤִㅤvernon and I couldn't sleep after watching a horror movie, but neither of us would admit that the movie scared us. we were just sitting on the sofa in silence, trying to act like we weren't scared, but the jump scares had left us both wide awake.

ㅤೀㅤִㅤvernon teased me about an old report card he found. "you were such a little overachiever," he said with a grin, "still are, though.

ㅤೀㅤִㅤvernon and me plan a picnic in the park. as we're setting up, a group of curious squirrels approaches, stealing some of our snacks. we both end up feeding them by hand and enjoying the unexpected wildlife encounter

ㅤೀㅤִㅤvernon and I decide to try baking cookies together. Despite following the recipe, the cookies come out burnt. Instead of being disappointed, we both turn it into a fun food fight, laughing as we smear frosting on each other's faces.

ㅤೀㅤִ vernon and i plan a movie night at home. halfway through the film, we both fall asleep cuddled up on the couch, with vernon's arm draped protectively around me, the soft glow of the TV illuminating our peaceful faces.

✮ . . . he is the most sarcastic person you will ever meet, i know this is common knowledge but almost everything he says is sarcasm. i’m a very gullable person so i can never tell the difference with him. to understand him you have to have wits

✮ . . . he grew up in an abusive home without a mother, but with mattheo. they have been through a lot together in their childhood so they’re bond has grown a ton over the years. they fight like brothers and act like brothers but one time when theo was drunk he said if mattheo was a girl he’d totally date him ??? urm concerning mate

✮ . . . when he was 8 he admitted to having a crush on narcissa and he picked out some flowers from the malfoy grounds. in reality he just confused his feelings towards her because he has mummy issues

✮ . . . he has never had a real girlfriend, he’s ‘dated’ girls before but has never made it official. he self sabotages a lot so his relationships never end up going anywhere. he’s very possessive and jealous and gets so overwhelmed by the affection that he just explodes and ruins the relationship in the end.

✮ . . . yes, theo’s tall but he’s not lanky like everyone says he is. he’s so athletic, he’s captain of the quidditch team. so he’s always working out and just doing everything to keep himself moving. it distracts him from his thoughts. he’s got a lot of muscle to him, he has reallyyy defined abs. AND HIS JAWLINE. so chiselled.

✮ . . . theo can read people so well, if, say enzo, takes a joke too far, then theo is the first one to notice if you’re hurt by it. he wouldn’t bring it up then and there he would wait to get you alone and reassure you.

✮ . . . mattheo is the only person that theo trusts with his life. he would tell mattheo anything in an instant, they both like to hang out in the astronomy tower after astronomy class and talk and smoke. they just catch up and talk about nonsense. theo is a very honest and open person so he’ll still tell us things he’s thinking about but mattheo is always and will be his number 1 person.

✮ . . . theo is not much of a drinker at parties, he smokes weed until he can’t roll anymore. he also uses it as a coping mechanism if he’s feeling shit. he gets in his own head sometimes about the death of his mother, it’s something that theo is still processing to this day.

✮ . . . theo is not the person everyone describes him to be. he’s not this guy who pretends to have a high body count to fit in, he doesn’t stuff his face with food every chance he gets and he would never let anyone called him teddy. doesn’t matter who you are- he finds it cringe and ‘revolting’ (his words not mine). i think the slytherin boy react accounts on tiktok have ruined everyone’s perception of the slytherin boys. ✮ but i know this is just me and my experiences and my dr and it’s not the same for everyone, it’s just that i used to think he was like this and then i shifted and it was like a slap in the face lol
