having damian call dick 'richard' is my go to. comics have ra's and talia always call him 'richard' and never 'dick' 😭 or 'detective' in ra's case but he uses that for bruce and tim too

WAIT A MINUTE. I was going to explain why I couldn't just have Damian call him Richard because he wouldn't know Dick's real name was Richard, but I just thought of a way for him to access that information!! Woohoo! Inspiration has hit!! Thank ya!!

(Also, same, Richard feels like the correct name for Damian to use. Just couldn't use it this time because Damian was introduced to Dick as only "Dick" so he wouldn't assume his name was Richard right off the bat.)
