I would honestly prefer virus dot com over SEO spam. Those janky banner ads and pop-ups are charming relative to five billion ads which are like "drivers are a very important way for your computer to talk to your hardware, have you tried updating them" when I'm searching for a very specific behavior and fix. (also I can adblock most of the viruses)

I think in terms of like, utility for THE AVERAGE internet user, SEO spam is probably less harmful. However I agree with you in terms of my user experience- absolutely toasted one computer with viruses at age 9 and have not gotten any to get the time to activate since. Selfishly, I would prefer other people get the experience of slamming their dick in the car door so they become moderately more competent on the internet to the current frustration with finding any useful and current information whatsoever.

Windows Password Rescuer is powerful that you also can use it on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Windows server 201, 2016, 2012/R2, 2008/R2, 2003/R2 and 2000, etc. Now complete the following steps to unlock Windows 11 admin password with USB flash drive. Using a CD or DVD is the same as this.

Step 1: Create a password reset disk on Windows Password Rescuer.

You have to do this on another Windows computer where you have admin rights.

Download and install Windows Password Rescuer on another Windows computer. (Free download trial version here.)

When finish installation, plug a blank USB flash drive to the current computer and launch the Windows Password Rescuer you just installed. On a friendly interface, select “USB Device”.

Drop down the drive list and then select the USB flash drive. Click “Begin Burning”. When a confirm message appears, click “Yes” to continue.

Burning process will be completed in under a minute. When it is successfully completed, unplug the USB flash drive.

Step 2: Use the USB flash drive to reset Windows 11 admin password on your locked computer.

Plug the USB flash drive into your locked computer. Then boot the computer from USB.

A moment later, Windows Password Rescuer will run automatically and show you a friendly interface. Now click your Windows 11 system and then click your admin account.

Click “Reset Password” to remove its password. When you see a confirm message, select “Yes”.

The admin password will be removed and shown “Blank” in list.

Click “Reboot”. When you see a confirm message, unplug the USB first and then select “Yes”.

PC restarts and then you can unlock the Windows 11 admin account without password.

My Sunday Reset Routine

1. Sleep in that way I can feel rested for the day ahead of me!

2. Get out of bed to go make myself some tea/hot cocoa and drink water while getting my other drink ready (I always start my days with 1-2 glasses of water)

3. Go brush my teeth, brush my hair, and make my bed

4. Shower, do my skincare routine and get myself ready for the day

5. I either deep clean my room and bathroom or do some general cleaning and picking up

6. Open my windows to let some fresh air in, and then light a candle or turn on my wax warmer

7. Paint or draw with some music playing

8. Watch a couple episodes of a show or watch a movie

9. Do my nighttime skincare routine and shower again

10. Paint nails

11. Read 1-3 chapters of a book

12. Turn off my phone 1 hour before bed to start winding down

13. Pick outfit for the next day

14. Plan my week in my yearly planner

15. Go to sleep

(Sometimes I do other things but this is my basis for my Sunday reset routine)

Long story short: overhaul of how the side panel follows Aster around.

Also be mindful as the update may shift the position of speech balloons! You can reset balloon positions with Ctrl+Shift+F10 or via utilities in right click menu.

A minor change for the users, but a pretty massive change on the internal side of things. I have some things to say about it, there's a tech ramble under cut.

The update is currently available in the initial .nar pack download and via Network Update in the right click menu!

The need to make sure side panel stays at Aster's side has been haunting me since their initial development, but with help of the community and my own accumulated knowledge of ukagaka development, I can finally say that it's been put to bed.

Before this change, the windows were basically glued together and if you wanted to reposition the panel, you'd use the according option in the menu. The option was introduced later after release.

This has since been broken by an SSP update, so it was time to end it once and for all. On my set of displays in particular this also resulted in the two getting constantly stuck together. Thanks Windows 11!

While there's ways to bypass this, i think the previous solution was a bit janky to begin with. Instead, now the side panel changes position whenever it needs to show up, while keeping primary screen boundaries in mind, just like SSP changes directions of the speech balloons.

Instead of calling up the panel to move it, you can just disable or reenable this.

Lastly, as I'm slowly getting back into ukagaka development again and remembering how things work, I want to mention that this change was also necessary, as I will need it in the next CaelOS ukagaka project.

It will be more of an idle visual novel than a companion on your desktop, but I hope if/when it comes out people still enjoy it. I've only so far made up a prototype ghost to test the kinds of animations i want it to use.

Little rant

My laptop was (is…) lagging so bad idk what happened I think it might be a virus or something related to a new windows 11 update. Literally started lagging out of nowhere. Closed my apps. Ended services. Nothing. Just lag beyond all hell.

Even just starting up my laptop lagged it so much and trying to open an app (much less the sims) made it worse and I’ve been searching how to fix it and nothing’s worked so far.

I’m currently trying to reset my laptop - it’s still going so idk if it works or not. Don’t even care if I have to reinstall everything, I just badly want it to work so I can be less stressed,,,, This, paired with the fact that the (international) conference I was talking about is happening tomorrow is stressing me out and this is not helping im gonna cry

Honestly at this point I’m low-key accepting that my laptop has gone kaput and i might have to start saving towards getting a decent pc just so that I can keep making cc and playing the sims :/ It sucks so bad because I don’t have the money saved and I’m even avoiding going to the computer shop over this because I’m broke,,,,

For now, I’ve resigned myself to having to do the presentation on my phone and hope for the best but honestly it’s not looking too good for me ifmfjfjgn bye

I still have war flashbacks from updates breaking my old pc and forcing me to do a reset. I'm not trusting an update that everyone says that it breaks shit.

It's also the one update that implements all the AI shit so yeah no I'm not touching that until I am forced to.
