"SHIT!" Jumping 5 feet into the air, Danny scrambled away from the bat costume wearing man, hair on every body part standing, and he's hissing like a feral cat.
"Can you not! I could have died from fright!" He complains, glaring.
Batman doesn't take the complaint to heart, instead focusing on him.
"Why are you here? This is a goverment funded stronghold, you aren't supposed to be here. Leave for your own safety."
Danny's shoulders drop, and he rolls his eyes. "Relax, bat guy, I'm here for something. Different reasons."
Batman doesn't take that and instead turns to his comm. "Red Robin, Nightwing, positions?"
"Close, B, just left RR to the monitors. ETA 5 mins."
He turns back to the boy.
"You want to come along?" Said boy asks after the moment of silence, idly fiddling eith his fingers.
Batman took note of that.
"Once my partner arrives, you'll be escorted out—"
I'm gonna be so honest with y'all. I don't take you seriously if you complain about the casting of the Percy Jackson show because the poc actors aren't "book accurate."
Because here's the deal. I remember when the internet threw a fit when Rue, a black character, was played by a black person. It didn't matter that it was book accurate, y'all didn't want to see a black person on screen.
For some of y'all, it's not that you are against adaptations straying from the source material- you are simply anti black.
If you are about to argue with me, I want you to ask yourself something. Did you not mind the race change of Grover, but you are against the casting of Annabeth? If that's true, maybe try to address that. Acknowledge it and try to deconstruct your anti-black biases.
When your love interest/nemesis and your backup plan just fucking lost consciousness while your bestie, who's a teenager, and the twelve years old, you all adopted, are trying to obliterate a ghost, who is apparently your mother in law, with explosives.
I don't think I can come up with a take about this whole Oceangate situation that hasn't already been said ("fuck the rich", "this was a stupid idea" "its controlled by a xbox controller??", Etc.) But I will say that this has the same vibes of Iron Lung, which is to say "we're stuck in an iron coffin in the deep ocean to look at the remains of dead people" with the only difference is that the people inside were willing to go in the first place.
I'm sorry but the way there are grown ass adults hating on Ikuto Tsukiyomi, the emo early 2000s angsty catboy who fights in crop tops and acts like a literal cat, is just beyond funny to me.
Lord, the way I have to hold myself back from arguing in the comments! 😆
“Henren Hate him” - Just because they’re being Mama Hens doesn’t mean they hate him 🙄
“Not the scene we wanted” - Not the scene YOU wanted but all us Tevan people are living for this! 😃
“I like the reminder that Tommy is bland” - You’re bland! You just don’t understand sarcasm and evasiveness”
“…he acts so superior. I can’t wait for his relationship with Buck to be over and he to be gone!” - And I hope you keep waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting…
“Jump Scare! Trigger Warning” - You’re a screaming trigger warning
Anywhoo! That scene was was everything and I’m living for protective Henren and adorably evasive Tommy. That last line though “…and I’m just trying to keep up” 😏😏😏
And Hen’s expression is just screaming “Guuuuuurrrrrrlllllll” 😆
LN: Weren't you bored without me?
ICARUS: Not at all. I was waiting for you.
LN: Would you have been equally pleased to wait longer for me?
ICARUS: I'll wait for you as long as you tell me to.

I'm REALLY enjoying this David Tennant hyperfixation I'm on. I've watched so many things I never would have before, and honestly, I've liked every single one of them so far!
Why are a lot of F1 fans incapable of displaying any sort of empathy?
I try not to be super negative so I’m not gonna rant about this, but it’s so disheartening to see how many of y’all lack any empathy for the drivers (or just others in general) to the point that it seems like you don’t even see them as real people.
I saw a post of someone saying they feel bad for a driver who spoke about being lonely outside of F1, and the amount of negative comments they recieved of people telling them the drivers don’t deserve their sympathy or empathy is just sad.
My great aunt came down to spend the night with us so she could go to the Teenager's graduation party tomorrow and I don't know if you've argued with a Boomer lately about pronouns, gender identity/expression, or gender vs sex but it really is like talking to a toddler throwing a tantrum
"what about me? what about what I want, what about what I think? Why do THEY get what they want and I don't??? Why do they have more rights than I do??"
And honestly, I can't even make an eloquent argument because for me it's instinctive that, like.
It costs me nothing, it's not hurting anyone, so who cares if I agree or disagree? There are tons of neo-pronouns that I don't "get" but any time I come across something like that, I just shrug and say, "you do you, boo boo" and then go about my day
I've never understood why the older generation can't do the same. That dude with his nails painted pink is not a problem unless he's actively trying to harm you and at that point, the nails has nothing to do with it
