What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Tricky, I don't usually finish on angst. Echo (Wtfock) follows on from a very horrendous part of the show or Season 5 - Magnus (Skam) never got finished so it's been left in the midst of angst.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of them end on a happy note but Love, Henry (RWRB) is probably the happiest.

Do you get hate on fics?

I think there was a little back when I started in Riverdale but I think it more anger on their part for a topic I could have written more sensibly I suppose? I've had critique on fics now but never hate.

Do you write smut?

I've written it one time years ago & it felt weird. I loooove writing foreplay though! But I've not ventured into smut in my current fandoms. That might be something I do though, my bigender Alex fic might go into that if there's sequel.

Craziest crossover:

I've only done one and it was a Riverdale meets Teen Wolf, it was a Christmas special and they had to help reunite Santa with his reindeer. While I haven't watched Riverdale for ages, I'm still really proud of that fic!

No but I'd absolutely love to collab this year, in the RWRB fandom in particular y'all are so talented 🥲

All time favorite ship?

Firstprince (RWRB) probably. Wilmon (Young Royals) is a close second atm, I'd love to write some YR fics soon. I'm still a massive Yousana (Skam) and Davenzi (Druck) shipper too. Oh and Nathan/Annalise/Gabriel (TBSATDH) - can't remember the ship name! That show got cancelled too soon & it was basically like a fix it for the books.

What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have a Teen Wolf reader insert fic with a pregnancy story line that I left on a huge cliffhanger but frustrates me but not enough to motivate to finish it. I also have my Skam season 5 - Magnus fic that I'd love to finish one day but I haven't found the plan I made for it originally.

What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue and character voice I think?

What are your writing weaknesses?

Plotting? I'm good at writing scenes but writing a longer storyline in fanfic is something I struggle with.

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

If you can do it, go for it! I wish I could incorporate more Spanish in my RWRB fics but alas I only got French or German at my school, I only stuck with French. Maybe I'll brush up & add some in for Henry (RWRB) or Nick (Heartstopper).

I just finished reading your fic 'those kind of friends' on AO3 and as someone who hasn't watched a single episode of Riverdale and literally only knows about these characters through memes, I just wanted to come here and say what the fuck. I am obsessed with the positively electric chemistry and complexity you've somehow injected into these two Riverdale characters?? I honestly don't remember the last time I got this consumed by a fic [let alone a het ship]. I literally only read it because my friend was nagging me about reading it for like a week straight and I wanted him to shut the fuck up, and now I too will be raving about it for a week straight. I have no idea what Jughead and Veronica are like in canon but I have a hard time believing a CW show captured even a tenth of the messy rawness and tension you gave them [not to mention the dialogue], so bravo on your talent. Super psyched there's a sequel because I'm nowhere near done getting my fix of these two.

honestly, thank you so much for taking the time out to write this. genuinely made my day (week? month) - I feel like it's so easy to feel like a fic is kind of dead once you've finished it (or maybe that's me because I've never finished one before lololol) so seeing this just lit my writer brain tf up.

in terms of Jughead and Veronica, I don't know them that well in canon either lol but I do think the show gave them a super notable and weird distance (probably accidentally) that laid the groundwork for a lot of the tension jeronica writers build on, so I do think the CW show gets some credit! they had so many reasons to interact and develop a bond of their own in the main timeline but just never did, which is such a meaty dynamic to dive into because why, you know? what's the inanimate barrier between them? the show played it off like an absence of something, but all their parallels and shared interests made it feel more like a possible abundance of something that they were avoiding, and that's where it gets fun. plus, the poor boy/rich girl with rival families is an archetype that will always have built-in serve potential, so there's that.

in any case, this was a lovely message to come home to, thank you so much!

[Sorry, this one is never getting finished. I liked writing this, but it was an experiment to see if I could return to a work every week to update it and the conclusion was: I can't. Writing a fic all at once like a book is the way to go, for me. It was also originally going to have smut, but I was editing Cold Hands Warm Heart at the same time as writing this, and that one ended up winning all my attention in the end. I do want to repurpose some of the OCs for an original book (and maybe even this version of Malachi since he's so OOC per the show), so they at least won't go to waste.]

[This is partly inspired by all the footage of people finding ways to deal with the quarantine I saw at the time, and partly by the way the first season of The Witcher was told where; Geralt was in the past and Ciri was in the present (did I get that right? lol) and the two timelines overlapped at a particular point. It left me wanting to try doing that, you can be the judge of if I succeeded lol.]

This one is really emotional for me... This was the first story I wrote in this series not knowing it would spawn multiple stories. But, it was always going to be the "finale". It was my "fix-it fic". I was emotional at the ending. I didn't like that no one ended up together (or so it seemed!). And I was kind of alarmed at how there weren't any fix-it fics. (The last fandom I was apart of where the finale divided the fandom there were dozens of fix-it fics up the very next day.) But, I wrote this when I was going through a time of grief. My little baby boy Jayne passed away due to kidney failure. I took him to the vet because he wasn't eating and within two weeks he was over the rainbow bridge into the Sweet Hereafter. He was my binge watching buddy. Riverdale was the last show we binged together. But, as Cole Sprouse said, hobbyism is the best way to heal from tragedy. This story was the first story I wrote in a very long time and it spawned 10 other fics in this story and a novel (that is currently being queried). My heart is saying it's the 'end of an era' and my brain is saying 'calm down, it's been five months'. lol

But thank you. Thank you for reading. Thank you for commenting and sharing. You all did more than just like a collection of stories. You helped me heal.

the only thing helping me get through this absolute mess that is RD (and I have 0% hope for the finale), is that the writers will get forcefully reminded of what they've done to this show and the zero talent they have everywhere they go, everywhere they apply from here on out. no big network will ever want to work with writers that managed to destroy a show this spectacularly. and no, BA anons, I won't ever feel bad for racist, arrogant, sexist, creepy and misogynistic men. end RD and free these characters, so actual talented writers can start writing fix-it fics, I beg.

As I've said before, anon, I have long since given up hope on a satsifying ending. Like, in s5 given up hope. But if I get BH endgame, even if it's implied and/or only a few scenes, get to watch the BAs melt down, have 4 seasons of content and know the writers pulverized their careers? Yeah, I've done worse.

But it is true, you gotta imagine having "Riverdale writer" on your CV would get you laughed out of any interview, to say nothing of the gross way they interact with fans. The show was always dumb, but it had a much better reputation even a year or so ago. Now, it's literally the lowest rated show on the network and I can't imagine studios being in a big hurry to hire spoiler risks who tanked their show due to their own ego. They did it to themselves, enjoy the "find out" stage.

1. Who is your favorite character?

there are so many good characters and i feel like i’ve fallen in love with all of them if that’s possible but tabitha tate holds a special place in my heart for the rest of time. call me jughead jones because i love her soooo much i can’t believe she doesn’t get a happy ending she deserves so much more (jughead is a close second tho. my blog name is godheadjones for a reason. who would i be if i abandoned my jughead roots?)

3. Which season is your favorite, and which plot of that season do you like most?

very controversial but i love season 6 the most. i think while i was watching this season i finally allowed myself to fall in love with the show as much as i did instead of just being another viewer who was “just watching for the mystery.” it delivered some of the craziest plot lines for the show, introduced superpowers and alternate universes (because why the hell not) and percy pickens, my fav villain from the show and i really just had a fun time watching the season in general. i also haven’t done a proper rewatch of the whole show in forever and don’t remember much from the earlier seasons so that factors into it slightly because i barely remember anything and need a refresher before i make an official ranking, but season 6 is high up for me nonetheless. fav plotline is EASILY everything to do with vale. like that was so fun and when i started devoting my blog to riverdale because they killed archie like that was crazy that was wild i want to go back to rivervale again at least once but i know it’ll never happen

asking this when the show is riverdale is so evil there are way too many gems to be able to pick one. off the top of my head “get the ball, or balls, rolling,” “did you have a lobotomy for breakfast?” any line in season 7 with their silly little words, “gobbledygook,” “well shucks to that,” get shout outs btw because they are hilarious (on that note, julian pronouncing it as high-larious) and “a, it’s not queerbaiting, it’s saving the world”
