Proud supporter of the head canon that Oliver Quidditch-for-brains Wood noticed the recurring pattern that many of the best players he’d ever seen were gay and decided that, post-retirement (or hell even as a side project), he would pursue a Potions and Charms Double Mastery to fix their fertility problem.

Because he saw Harry James Potter, the best Seeker in a century, absolutely obsessed with Draco Lucius Malfoy, a damn good Seeker and an even better Chaser, and wow all those fantastic Quidditch genes are just not even getting passed on. How absolutely unforgivable. That has to stop, and it has to stop now.

Anyways “Oliver Accidentally Gay Wizarding Pioneer and Icon Wood” that single-handedly fixed the massive fertility problem for all wixen just so his favorite gay Quidditch players could make Quidditch prodigy babies.

Hey @ those of you with access to The Magnus Protocol early episode releases who maybe weren't around for TMA early releases, there are a couple things to know

First, you get early access and that is for you and others who paid for that. Posting spoilers where everyone can see is kind of undermining that entire concept and making you paying extra almost a moot point. However, exciting stuff is happening so it totally makes sense that you want to talk about it right now immediately, and feel free to join private message groups and discords for that!

On tumblr there's a special tag (#tma vague) where you can post VAGUE things like context-free spoilers or just you screaming into the void (a popular one is a post that's just like: the magnus archives sure is a podcast!). Looks like people are already using #tmagp vague so that's cool to use too :)

Anyway, just a friendly heads up for new Magnus enjoyers! I know you want to talk about the cool stuff, but you're paying extra for this stuff and posting about it for people who haven't paid kind of takes away the value of what you paid for

Since the very first book, Kaitlyn’s always been kind of a wild card, but this, I think, is the exact moment her character took a turn for the worse and never recovered.

The gang puts up flyers all around campus for Kaitlyn’s band performances, cheers her on and encourages her when she performs for the first time, the MC helps her reinvent herself with a makeover to boost her confidence, and the gang all goes out of their way to attend Kaitlyn’s band performances even though Natasha and Rachel openly and repeatedly treat them badly just to support their friend.

But then the MC gets knocked down in the mosh pit, Zig leaps to her defense, and then violence erupts all around her and the rest of the gang, through no fault of her own. And what’s Kaitlyn’s first concern after things get violent? Not the safety of the MC or her other friends, but the fact that her band might get blacklisted from the venue because of the fighting.

And then, she even goes so far as to accuse the MC of egging Zig on to get back at her because of the fight she and Abbie had…the fight that stemmed from Kaitlyn’s lack of receptiveness to the concerns Abbie expressed about her skipping classes after late nights with her band.

But somehow…the MC has never been interested in supporting her with the band. Right.

There are definitely worse characters out there…but shit, Kaitlyn grinds my gears like you wouldn’t believe.

I find all the "remember people post articles on the internet from certain perspectives for their own gain :)))" posts kinda condescending. Yeah, the rusty quill article needs to be read critically, but frankly? Unless you haven't been paying attention, many events outright happened and aren't too far fetched from what Rusty Quill has done. The transcript stuff? Public information. The layoffs followed by TMAGP kickstarter releasing? Also happened. This is not to say the article doesn't need to be read critically. For example, the part where it says "hey, the only people writing for tma2 are people who haven't worked with RQ" when the company has been very open about the fact they have been working with RQ network people.

I find the piece not one of trying to gain financially but a flawed, but angry piece of work. The writer and editor have been part of the podcast community for years. Have worked with many big and small creators. I know Tal in specific has advocated over and over again for the accessibility of podcasts and for the podcast award shows. These people aren't money grabbing rivals trying to tear down Rusty Quill and I KNOW they wouldn't have posted this article with ease especially under their actual aliases considering they're well aware of the volatile nature of the RQ fan base.

So TLDR: yes, look at the rq article critically, but that doesn't mean it should be disregarded entirely. Critically in this case is seeing what information is 100% verifiable, what information is speculative but backed up by RQ's previous behavior, and what is outright wrong. Especially since not everyone has the same experience with the company.

I don’t know how to explain it but even without the romance I love them a lot. like I’m Very much your stereotypical aro/ace someone who doesn’t care for romance one bit but…them..there so special the dynamic is great. honestly I really feel like how Keefe helps Sophie’s anxiety a lot and also maybe is some of the cause of the anxiety but um still
