I’m not sure how to phrase this properly but I think it’s kinda interesting that in some ways, the RWBY antagonists embody Huntsman mentality better than the main cast.

Ruby and friends very much embody heroism and the somewhat romanticized version of their profession which is fine, but if they moved half as aggressively as Neo did to stop Ruby, outcomes would’ve been different. 😂

The main group fought for the world and every step they took was for that goal. Hazel did not rest until he put his hands on Oz. Watts didn’t care about world domination; it was well seasoned beef to fuck over Ironwood. I feel like there’s a world where you could have Ruby want to save the world genuinely, but also can’t wait to drag cinder across the floor.

Blake trying to relax after V5, no ma’am. I would’ve looked at my new brotherhood and said “I want to know every step Adam takes!” It wouldn’t even come across as paranoia, cause that man took possibility to keep the pressure on and i gotta commend him for that lol. Man heard she was home plotting and said “Kill her parents” the beef was so real for villains it’s crazy. Even if I’m a hero, I can’t let people plot on me so heavily and ignore it; that’s dangerous! Weiss has an invested interest in that man being locked up! Dude would broadcast her bloodline disappearing if he got the chance, and I’m teammates with his ex!?

After this punch, Neo would’ve had full attention. I can’t be trapped in a world with my biggest hater when they chose to strangle me seconds after getting betrayed.
