Text
Whumper is a shapeshifter. Throughout Whumpee’s captivity, they morph into Caretaker’s form to trigger, manipulate and test Whumpee. It breaks Whumpee down and crushes their spirits - but at least they don’t fall for Whumper’s games anymore.
Until one day, it IS Caretaker that rushes to their rescue. When Caretaker bursts through the cell door, Whumpee refuses to believe it’s real. Whumpee even tries to go back to sleep and ignore them.
“N-No... please... not - just not today, Whumper. I’m too tired.”
“Whumpee-” Caretaker’s voice wobbles, their hands shaking as they reach out, “It’s me- I’m here to save you-”
“I-I’m not stupid. I won’t try to escape anymore - promise...please don’t hurt me.”
“Whumpee, just look at me, please. It’s caretaker. We’re going home-”
“You’re not caretaker... It’s never caretaker... It’s always you.”
Whumpee fights and thrashes as Caretaker releases them from their restraints and tries to carry them to safety. When they’re home, they’re resistant to the care and attention they need. Pushing helping hands away, screaming and kicking. Whumpee is hysterical, crying out in anguish. Rambling promises to be good and swearing they’re not disobeying Whumper, they still think it’s all a test. They won’t look at Caretaker, they won’t stop begging to go back to their cell.
Whumpee truly believes that caretaker isn’t themself, that it’s Whumper disguised. What will it take to snap them into reality?

Torturing the whumpee while wearing the face of their friends was the whumper’s favorite past time- they have to change it up sometimes, just to get a different reaction. A fun side effect of this was that the whumpee was slowly losing trust of everyone they used to care about.

Hi hello here’s a new one
Warnings: Royal whumpee, shapeshifter whumper, broken bones, mentions of death, fantasy whump
—————————————————————————————
The young Prince ran dawn the long twisting hallways desperately trying to find an escape the foul castle. A Tremour shook walls causing the the Prince to stumble to the ground,
The monster, it's noticed him.
Pushing himself back up he continued his frantic search for
an exit. Taking a sharp turn the Prince cracked his face against a sudden wall, clutching his now bleeding head the Prince turned to go back the way he came finding a new wall. The world was closing in leaving the Prince with no chance of escape except for… the window..
Rather than taking his chances with the monster the Prince threw himself out of the window, Crashing into the dark forest below.
The Princes leg shattered on impact, pain flared through his body causing him to Collapse. The Prince bit his lip as his scream echoed through the forest. The Prince's body shuttered with pained breaths as he laid on the cold mossy ground, vurnalble and open.
There was suddenly the sound of something very big landing, and a chill filled the forest.
Panicking, the Prince tried to push himself up forgetting about his leg which quickly made itself known again. There was the sound of something tearing, the prince gasped in pain as he turned to look back at his leg, there was something sharp poking out from the fabric of his trouser leg. Bone. The Prince gave a shuddering laugh, Fuck he’s never going to leave this place is he.
Then he heard the footsteps, but the didn’t sound like a beast they sounded almost…human? Taking a quick look behind himself again the Prince noticed a figure emerging from the shadows.
“Enjoying my forest, your highness?”
The voices spoke right in the Prince’s mind sending a shiver through his body. The figure smiled down at him but its mouth never moved.
“Hmm what’s this?” Purred the voices as shadows yanked the Prince up by his Borken leg, holding him upside down. The Prince screamed in agonizing pain as he felt the ligaments in his leg tearing from the weight of his body. Tears trickled down his face and into his hair.
“Such a silly prince, trying to flee. Now you wont be able to run again.” The shadow snapped dropping the Prince flat on his back, spots dancing in his eyes. The Prince’s chest heaved as a sob broke through his lips “Please, i-if you’re here t-to ki-kill me, jus-just do it. P-please”
“Kill you?”
A massive claw like paw appeared from the dark, pining the Prince down
“Do you want to die?”
Not wanting to see his death. The Prince squeezed his eyes shut, Turing his face away, as he felt the monsters maw rest inches from his face.
The paw pressed down harder, the Prince could feel his bones creak under the weight. The monsters snout nuzzled his neck as if determining wether to bite or not.
“No, you don’t. Now do you? I can feel it. You don’t want to die. What are we going to do about that?”
The wight lifted from the Princes chest, allowing him to heave pained breaths. Suddenly hundreds of hands shot out from the dark, grabbing the Prince to lift him high up into the air. Only to slam him back into the ground but the ground fell away dropping the Prince into the shadows. The Prince tried to scream, but it was as if his voice was sucked out of him, he could feel all his life draining away as his vision grew darker and darker until there was nothing left.

Hmmm Shapeshifter Whumper who makes themselves look exactly like Caretaker when they hurt Whumpee, meaning when Caretaker does come to the rescue, Whumpee is terrified of them and begging them not to come closer or hurt them…
Bonus Points of Whumper uses their own face when being nice and comforting the Whumpee in order to make the Whumpee prefer them and huddling closer to Whumper when Caretaker shows their face.
Extra Bonus Points if Whumper uses this to get Caretaker in trouble, either arrested or on the run because Whumper has Whumpee tell everyone it was them.

@ailesswhumptober Day Twenty-Nine - Bargaining / Forced to Choose
Contents: Cults! That's always fun. Also some descriptions of body horror (which aren't that bad in my art style lmao), minor character death, all that jazz.
Characters are Niko (They/Scor, Ref which is literally my Roblox avatar lmfao) and Creator (Any, mostly They/It/Fae/Xe, Ref)
Also posted on Ao3!
“What do you want with me?” Niko asks, trying to keep the tremor out of their voice, not that it really does much for them.
The... well, they aren’t sure what it is. It stands tall over them, pale gold skin and a head literally detached from its body. That’s not to mention the wings, horns, deer legs, and a permanent shadow over the upper half of its head, yet its eyes can still be seen.
It’s fucking terrifying, and Niko is pretty sure it wants them dead.
It brings its clawed hand to their face and tilts their chin up, making eye contact with them. “Well... we both know you saw something you weren’t supposed to see, correct?”
Niko slaps its hand away, which is probably a bad decision, but their entire life has been full of bad decisions anyways, so what does it matter? It grins, presumably to itself, with red teeth gleaming in the faint moonlight glimmering through the trees. “I won’t tell anyone,” They hiss, and that’s not entirely a lie. They won’t tell anyone other than, y’know, the police.
It shrugs, gesturing to the person (probably an adventurer or something, judging by their outfit) it just killed. “Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead,” It says cheerfully, stepping closer to Niko.
They feel their heart drop to their stomach, eyes widening. “N-No! I can- I dunno, whatever you want, I’ll do it, just-”
It tilts its head, a wide smile on its face, watching them with glowing eyes. “Do you really think you could be of use to me?”
Niko nods, not trusting their voice to work right now. It grins even wider. “I could use... a devotee, if you will, to my... cause. But I hope you realize that means total secrecy. If you were to tell anyone, well...”
Once again, it gestures to the corpse behind it. “You’ve already seen what happens. I’m sure we can both agree that one outcome is certainly better than the other, correct?”
Niko swallows thickly, nodding. It giggles to itself. “I don’t take kindly to double agents, either,” It says, leaning down to be at eye level with them. “I have eyes everywhere, you know.”
They aren’t sure if it’s bluffing.
“So, what will it be?” It asks, that never-faltering smile unnerving the shit out of them.
“It’s a deal,” Niko says, voice shaky. “But... what even is your ‘cause’?”
“The details aren’t important,” It hums, shaking their hand. “You’ve made a good choice, my dear.”
“I’m-” They try to introduce themself, but it cuts them off.
“Niko, yes, I am aware,” It says, confirming that it probably wasn’t bluffing. “You may call me... Creator. I feel that is a suitable name, no?”
One hell of an ego, Is what Niko’s first thought is. Instead, they find themself nodding.
“I’m glad you agree,” Creator hums. “Come, let’s go get you proper attire, if you’re going to be devoted to me from now on, yes?”
And Niko follows them, wondering what the hell they just got themself into.

a shapeshifter whumper would always shapeshift into caretaker every time they hurt whumpee.
when whumpee is finally rescued and is back with the real caretaker, they helplessly scramble away into the corner whenever caretaker tries to touch them, whether it be to offer them a comforting hug or to tend to their wound, or to carry them back to their bed, because it was caretaker’s face and body that had hurt them in the past.
and it doesn’t matter if whumpee’s lucid enough to understand that it was shapeshifter whumper who hurt them, not caretaker — whumpee will always see caretaker’s face torturing them whenever they close their eyes.

I did a lot of fantasy-setting group roleplays back in high school, and somehow, every time, I would end up creating an angsty hot guy who would slowly become the only character I played.
I mostly did this out of a noticed deficit of angsty hot guys within the character pools. I'd create someone so tragic, so morally grey, and just let him walk around and be sad and angry and brooding.
Usually he'd start off as a villain, possibly being controlled either physically or through blackmail by a bigger, eviler villain (who I'd also RP as).
Nine times out of ten, he'd be tortured at some point, by well-meaning heroes trying to stop the villains' rise, or by his former boss after he finally tried to switch sides. (This of course, led to whatever love interest he'd picked up from among the other players to have an emotional rescue moment.)
And yeah, looking at where I am now, the past and present explain each other.

Whump Ideas: Potions
I love whump ideas that use potions
Potion activates a painful transformation that leaves whumpee still weak and vulnerable far after it wears off.
Potion effects that get the job done, but hurt more than some may argue us with it
Whumpee going through extreme dysphoria caused by a botched brewing in the past (or by whumper's experiments). Caretaker shows up with the cure.
A failed potion that whumpee has downed has poisoned them. The sick whumpee has no clue if it's fatal or not as they lay being unable to move.
Whumper needs someone to test their potions on. They even test multiple at once to make sure certain ones can coincide. Permanent effects, janky potions, and drastic changes leave whumpee unidentifiable as a human.
A potion that's only job is to cause pain. Nothing fancy that's just it.
Whumper takes a shapeshifting potion, and shapes into their captive whumpee. As they leave whumpee, they promise to take good care of Caretaker.
Whumper pouring out an important potion or antidote in front of whumpee who desperately needs it.
Whumper turns themselves into a tiny whumpee, and now the consequences of their own actions are bigger than they've ever been.
Whumper throwing potion bottles at whumpee out of rage. They don't care what's in them or what it does if it hits whumpee.
Whumpee and their very angry evil pet cat have always confused caretaker. It wasn't until caretaker discovered the potion ingredients for a cat potion that questions rise.

“You’re hurt.”
June hardly remembered falling asleep. However, he knew well that he was asleep when he saw the black-pelted deer in front of him. Her legs were bound in chains and, on her head, the skull and horns of a male deer adorned her head.
“Goddess-”
The look in the shadowy, pitch black eyes of his goddess softened a little. “My dear, what have you gotten yourself into?”
“I’ll get out- I swear, Goddess. I will.” Panic rose in his chest. He couldn’t lose his status, his magic, his protection. He’d dedicated his life to this.
“June.” His name was more like a command coming from his goddess’ mouth. “Listen to me.”
June had hardly realized himself beginning to hyperventilate. Calling on that familiar magic that came to him in that space between life and death, the domain of the Forgotten Gods, June took a few breaths and forced his head to clear. A few more breaths cleared his head completely. He was fine. Here, he was safe. June was a friend of the Forgotten Gods.
All the while, his Goddess watched him from behind her skull mask, quietly observing June. Even after June had calmed down, she stayed quiet, as if she was debating some great response.
“June, my dear, you’re safe here. You’ve proven yourself. I gave you my blessing. You have my protection here. I’m not abandoning you. I’m not like your father.”
His father. The bastard that put him in this situation in the first place. June would never trust a non-witch. Never again. Not after him.
Of course, his Goddess understood without either of them saying anything. She knew that June’s liver was adiposed with hatred and resentment. After all, why would she have chosen June if not for the hatred he stored in his liver? Away from his heart to hope for a bit more hope for life?
What was June supposed to say? He took a breath, trying to ground himself.
“I’m sorry for doubting you, Goddess.”
The deer considered him for a moment. “June. It’s okay. I know you’re hurt and you’re hurting. I’ve seen bitterness consume people. You must carry out your duty. You cannot let bitterness consume your heart.”
Carefully approaching him, his Goddess laid her head on June’s shoulder. Hesitantly, June touched his Goddess’ neck. Even if he’d touched her before, each time still felt strange. A being with so much power robbed from her allowed him to touch her. It was a vulnerability and tenderness unbecoming of a Forgotten God.
“I want to go see my mother.” June’s voice broke a bit on the words. His mother was an ocean away, a trek that June would never be able to make. “I miss her.”
“I know you do, June. When things like what you went through happen to us, there’s a child left inside us. That child holds the emotions, the memories you felt then. Your child is still full of anger and spite for what happened. You keep trying to silence that child, but you must listen to it.”
Listen to it. How could June listen to it? Whenever he did… “He sold me into slavery because I’m a half-blood! He planned for me to be used against my mother.” June’s heart sank. “That- that can’t be what Linden has planned.”
His Goddess sighed. “I don’t know what they have planned. I cannot see more of the mortal realm than you can, my dear June. Even then, I was never clairvoyant.”
Taking heaving breaths, trying to prevent himself from crying, June stepped back from his Goddess, that doe wearing a buck’s skull and horns. “Is she even still looking for you?”
His Goddess paused. “I knew her at one point, June. Your mother is an old witch. She… she was there when the magician’s gods drove us away. She’s a bitter person.” If a deer could smile, his Goddess certainly was. “You take after her in many ways, June.”
June looked down.
“June, I cannot be with you much longer. You will wake soon. However, I want you to know that you’re stronger than you think you are. You’ll survive and you’ll triumph.”
“No, Goddess!”
However, that dark space faded as June awoke to the solitary cell Linden had locked him in. Burying his hands in his face, June felt tears rolling down his face, wetting the bandages over his eye.
“What are you crying for? You’re going to ruin your bandages.”
June’s head snapped up, searching for Linden. He was sitting in a chair, watching June.
“The fuck? Were you watching me sleep?”
“My subjects have often been suicidal their first night with me, so yes. I did watch you sleep. I wanted to ensure you wouldn’t do anything stupid.”
The small amount of kindness Linden had shown June was gone. June found himself growling a bit.
“Creepy much?”
“I’m a doctor and a scientist, June. I have to ensure your well-being. That includes strictly monitored meals, medication, and yes, watching you sleep if I believe you to be a suicide risk. It’s a precaution.”
June’s growl turned into a snarl. He didn’t have much time, though, before he went crashing to the ground, spasming in every part of his body. Electricity coursed through him, making every nerve fire off painful signals.
“Fuck fuck fuck fuck.”
Up went the intensity. June couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t think. Everything was agony and there was nothing he could do. He was helpless against the shocks.
When the electricity finally stopped, June didn’t have a moment to catch his breath. Linden was dragging him to the bathroom, grabbing the bar of soap from the sink. Forcing June’s mouth open, Linden shoved the bar of soap in June’s mouth, scrubbing while June gagged and choked on the soap. It burned his mouth so much.
“Watch your language,” Linden hissed in his ear. “You will not swear around me. I understand that your… kind has less manners, but you will have manners in my presence.”
By the time that Linden had taken the soap out of June’s mouth, June was ready to vomit. Heave after heave of bile came out of his stomach and into the sink, his mouth a soapy, vomit-filled mess. Burning and not burning, the taste of soap and his own vomit making him only vomit more.
Linden chuckled. “Are you ready to go to the lab, little fox?”
June glared, the lights from the bathroom buzzing and causing his head to pound. When had Linden turned the lights on?
“In your-”
June fell to the ground as an even stronger shock filled his body. He wanted to scream out, curse Linden for doing this to him, but he knew it would get him nowhere. So, he just waited, feeling that bitterness and hatred for magicians in his heart.
In his heart, the anger consumed him. He needed to be smart. He needed to be wise. He needed to make his goddess proud.
So, when Linden yanked June up, June obeyed. He didn’t put up a fight. Linden looked at him with a raised eyebrow, but June tried to ignore it.
Even when Linden brought him down the hall by the collar, rubbing against the spot burned by the shocks, and into the lab, June didn’t fight. Today, he couldn’t fight. He needed to watch and learn.
How had he forgotten that?

Kidnapped Selkie Whump Aesthetics
Yup, I know it’s hyper specific, and also kind of randomly ordered. Inspired by this post by @albino-whumpee
A blanket with similar weight or texture to their stolen fur becomes their comfort item
Discovering their fur has been cut up and turned into multiple items (a cloak, a hat, some boot linings). Caretaker, wanting to help Whumpee return to their seal form, goes to the ends of the earth hunting for anything made of selkie fur and perhaps unintentionally props up the selkie trade in doing so
Since seals don’t possess the capacity for speech and Whumpee spent most of their time in seal form, they mostly communicated telepathically with their rookery. When they’re captured they scream out mentally before they scream physically. Both times nobody comes to their rescue, and the silence of their rookery is even lonelier than being locked away
Being starved for days and then being served seal meat (either on purpose or because that’s what their captors are eating). Whumpee is both human and seal, so eating seal meat is as repugnant to them as eating a human. They go hungry
Seeing a pod of orcas while on the boat that captured them, and being absolutely terrified to be so close to their biggest predators
Many seals have patches of darker or lighter fur. Perhaps this translates to the aesthetic of Whumpee’s skin or hair
Post-rescue Whumpee spends a lot of time in water. Caretaker comes home one evening to find them sleeping happily in a bathtub full of now-cold water
Whumpee struggles to adapt to their human form. They need to learn how to use their hands and feet, made difficult by the restraints they are kept in, and they miss the wealth of information their whiskers used to provide
Similarly, their human form robs them of the good sense of smell and hearing that they once had. Or maybe they retain those and face massive sensory overload because they can no longer process everything
Anyway, selkie whump.

Windfall
CW: supernatural Whumper, body control, blood, medieval setting
・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
Whumpee hurried down the farm track, his makeshift shoes had to hold on until he finally reached the doorstep. After a day of backbreaking work, his family surely had their dinner, always leaving a portion for the straggler.
Please let it be a beef stew today, another round of kale would kill him on the spot.
He hated working on the village's market, day in and day out walking miles for less than poor reward; the oven flames at the back of his neck and flour pressed into every pore of his face, he tried to let the sunlight run out in peace.
Whumpee knew which turn to take, as the late evening bathed the orchards in an ink-blue smear of shapes, his cottage was just a few fields further south.
Although the sharecropper had already collected this year's harvest, a quick peek onto the field shouldn't do any harm, Whumpee decided. Each leftover fruit he could bring home to his family was worth more than the few pennies the master baker let him keep.
Marmalade would be the best option, he pondered, to keep any sweet troves fresh even as the quickly approaching winter left the trees barren, just as their pantry.
Climbing quickly over the fence, no spying eyes in sight yet, Whumpee started to search the ground for anything non-rotten and hopefully delicious, when his view got caught on a quivering shape only a few feet away.
In the twilight, the shadow came further towards him to reveal a raven: writhing helplessly through the wet grass and not seeming to mind him at all.
It really was a gorgeous animal, one that Whumpee only ever admired from afar, or rather had to scare away from the family's crops when he was younger. Now standing at the tip of his feet, it seemed more disoriented than anything.
Carefully, Whumpee kneeled down to catch a better look of the bird, as it again hopped on one leg with a curious expression on its face.
Was it a face? Maybe on its beak?
It was rare to see these creatures approach people without ear-numbing screeches or ominous fluttering, so this had to be a tame one. He remembered his mother talking about a hermit a few villages onward who kept a handful of docile pigeons, maybe this raven also had a flock to return to.
But certainly not in this condition.
"Are you lost?" he asked, knowing he wouldn't get much smarter through that. With a low rumble from the chest, the raven let its head fall to the side. Whumpee followed suit, copying the stance of the curious bird. The blue shimmer of its feathers had a mesmerizing glow to it, a beautiful thing, truly...
The sun had set and as the realization hit him with a flash, he quickly got up again.
"I really have to go home. Good luck!"
His brothers would ridicule him if they ever caught him talking to animals, but that's what he got for being the youngest of them. Was he really that naive?
A nearly inaudible caw left the raven's bill, the sound of loneliness weighing down heavy on Whumpee's conscience. It was probably hurt too, so a night out here in the wilderness meant certain death. A pity, really, he wouldn't see such a special pet every day.
He thought of his family and supper, still warm and waiting for him over the hearth. What had gotten into him?
"Just for tonight," Whumpee said with a heavy sigh, "my mother will despise me for bringing you with, but it'll be alright for now."
The ball of feathers was gently lifted from the damp ground, now sitting safe and secure atop Whumpee's palms. As he turned it from side to side to catch a better look at any possible injuries, the raven's head snapped forward with a quick jerk, digging its beak deep into his left wrist.
Deafened by his own shouting and cursing, Whumpee didn't even seem to mind when it withdrew again to hop contently back down on its feet and rub his plumage.
The blood-slicked bird now glowed even more brightly under the moonlight, still watching the furious man intently.
Whumpee huffed deeply, pushing down his anger and frustration.
"That's what I get for being so foolish!" he thought with a bitter grin. Maybe he should put the nasty beast in the stew for a change... God knows what kind of plague he already caught by touching this thing-
A soft coo ripped him from his thoughts and the steady pulsing of his arm, red already dripping everywhere: the bird ruffled its feathers more distinct this time, demanding attention as it skipped up and down.
Any idea to snatch leftover fruit had become obsolete.
With a quick twirl, the raven rolled on its back only to turn over again on its tiny claws... One-two-three hops it made to finish this bizarre performance.
"Is that your apology?" Whumpee's sceptical murmur was interrupted by another roll to the side, with a double spin at the end. It did look endearing like that...
He had to get home, right? To clean out the bite that felt less and less painful the more he watched that silly dance.
Coming to a halt again, he noticed how it hopped further down the awry trail to his left, a road that would certainly lead him further away from his destination.
"But I really can't, I need to-"
As the raven pecked twice on the dirty gravel, the sound made Whumpee's body jerk forward on its own accord.
When did his feet become so light?
Something was different from before, the erring security that spread through his body couldn't match his racing thoughts, as he followed the pleased bird through the thicket; gaze fixed onto it as it flew in circles, drawing ring after ring into the air.
Its owner sure would be relieved to have it back, but he also had to return at some point, a point that was already overstepped.
The idea of such a wonderful reunion pushed all the spinning worries from his mind; Whumpee had become too busy watching the raven's mesmerizing waltz to recognize the passing countryside that framed the odd pair.
"They are a bad omen," his mother always said, "what remains of damned souls in this world. They only bring-"
The bird let out a shrill cry, demanding Whumpee's regard once again. Through the pitch-black darkness around him, he could only feel himself heave through a stream of water. The current threatened to push him off balance more than once, but under the watchful eyes of his companion, Whumpee could feel the fast-approaching bliss of home.
He had to hurry now... How curious, was there ever a river this close to their old cottage?
The moon behind the treetops decided to reveal a glade, where Whumpee's legs restlessly strode to a large stone building in its middle. Without thinking twice about it, the bird led him through the opened entrance gate, past the bare foyer, until their strange journey ended promptly in the castle's library.
Walls of bound paper and leather engulfed a crackling fireplace, which seemed to be already dying down, but nevertheless let the room shine in its warmth.
When Whumpee finally came to a rest, all the suppressed feeling of the last hour came over him in a flash of agony: burning exhaustion of his muscles joining itself with the confused thoughts screaming inside his head.
The false comfort of home throughout the room did all but calm his racing heart.
And there it was, the raven, standing tall before the flames.
Something had changed in its pitiable sight. Second by second its bony chest grew wider, its beak retracting inside and claws changing from the leathery black skin into larger appendages - into legs.
The horrifying creature, now a mixture of tinted plumage and formless extremities, only became larger and larger and forcing Whumpee to stare up in silent terror.
Too cold and tired to flee from this unholy beast, he had to hold out until it settled into a familiar shape.
A man, dressed in fine silk and wrapped in a cloak made of slick blue fabric that reminded Whumpee of the animal he had just seen moments ago, looked down on his guest.
Dried blood was smeared across the golden embroidery, shimmering just as vividly as the wound on Whumpee's forearm. The man seemed to wait for any kind of reaction, the bright gleam in his eyes and trusting smile inviting him to open up. But no friendliness could calm his rabbit-fast pulse, it felt like nothing ever could.
"I-" Whumpee croaked, at last ready to beg for an explanation, yet being directly interrupted by the man's quiet voice.
"You are lost, friend," he reasoned with a tone so loving Whumpee nearly believed him for a second, "and I seem to be in dire need of some assistance!"
With that, he draped his cloak around Whumpee's shoulders, warmth pressing heavy onto his already tired mind:
"What a relief that we found each other!"

The whumper was a shapeshifter and the whumpee didn’t know, which meant that the whumper had a perfect chance to hurt them even more. They began to act as a kind caretaker, a rogue doctor that hated the whumper and would comfort them after hours of torture, becoming the only person that the whumpee could rely on. They’ve yet to reveal who they are to the whumpee, but they can’t wait to see their face.

Aftermath
Tw: child whumpee, starvation mention, parental whumper, (ask me to add more)
“Mother,” It wailed at the closed door, “Mother please, it’s sorry!”
The door remained stubbornly shut, as it had since it was thrown in this bright, little room. At first, it sat there, still and silent and perfect, just like Mother would want it to. But as hours turned into what felt like days, it began to cry.
It clawed at the door uselessly, only rubbing its fingers raw and bloody against the metal. It tried to kick it, to no avail. Now, though, it just sat there, head pressed pitifully against its own bloody marks on the door.
Days passed, and Thyme was still trying to calm everything down.
After her--that stupid experiment ruined things, her project was threatened with being shut down, all funding cut off. Unless she could find a way to fix it. She had managed to convince her investors to give her that much. Just more time, just enough to fix things.
She’d already begun on the next batch of Skinwalkers, growing in their test tubes. She altered their makeup so, in theory, they would be less aggressive and more obedient. That was the hope, at least.
There was only one way to see if that was the case, though, and that would have to wait for them to be done developing. Another month or so, if she really pushed it.
Thyme let out a long-suffering sigh, sinking into her chair. She still needed to teach Zero a lesson in obedience, but there had just been no time as of late.
Maybe this could be its lesson. I’ll go get it when things calm down.
Zero stopped feeling hungry.
At first, it felt like its insides were trying to eat each other, but that died away after some time. It just laid there, curled in front of the door, the bright white light chasing away any concept of time it may have had.

whumperland day twelve: forced transformation
@amonthofwhump
warnings: overworked whumpee, (implied) captive whumpee
(named) characters: whumper, whumpee
100 words
~~ Whumper laughs, “Again!”
The rest of the party cheers in agreement and Whumpee bites back a sob. It takes a shuddering breath and transforms back into its “original” form.
“What would you like?” it asks, broken.
Someone shouts, “Do a peacock!”
Whumpee stares at Whumper, waiting for their nod of approval.
It closes its eyes and imagines the bird. Bright green and blue feathers, a long neck, clawed feet. It can feel itself changing, morphing into this animal for some crowd’s pleasure.
When the crowd gasps, it opens its eyes and bows, ignoring the blinding pain deep in its bones.
