When is the last time you FED your neighbor?
“But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.“Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.”Luke 6:35-36 Typically after Thanksgiving as the days pass, folks gets tired of eating leftover Turkey, stuffing, yams, collards, and ham. The World Needs More Love
“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty — it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There’s a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.” – Mother Teresa, A Simple Path: Mother Teresa
How true, and how sad and where Mother Teresa talks about spirituality, it is lacking in the world. But all it would take is a change in perception, to think about others, how we can help the less fortunate. How we can give back.
Where the world is divided, now we are seeing huge chasms open, in all aspects of societies; we have all been taken out of our comfort zones, but we need to find our way back. And with lifting restrictions, many hundreds of thousands of people who are high risk, and vulnerable have been left, stuck in their homes. They are uncared for in our communities.
The media have talked about us being opinionated and disapproving, also divided on many aspects of the pandemic. Hundreds of thousands are now stuck in their home. My home is my confinement. In the pandemic where we should be working together, in our everyday, many of us have also become invisible and distant.
But it is something we should be thinking about and changing. The more enlightened and less earthly we are, the more love we have to give, the more we can change lives. Mother Teresa and Princess Diana, throughout their lives always sought to give back, to help those less advantaged, even though they both dealt with mental and emotional trauma.
We may not all be a Mother Teresa or a Princess Diana, but life is about giving back, it’s why we’re here, take the ego out and you’ll see that. It’s small steps, and we have to want to change.
In the early months of the pandemic we saw doctors and nurses coming together to save lives, in many cases many having lost their own. Another act of service and an act of love. Now for the world’s survival, we need to give some of that love back.

I’m so stressed out.
And I swear when I say I’m stressed out and need help doing something, nobody fucking listens to me until I’m so stressed out that I’m crying and shit.
If you have a friend or a loved one that asks you for help around the house, a ride, help finding information or anything like that....
Please please help them if you’re able to.
Don’t want until they’re at the very edge of breaking to help them.

Good afternoon! Happy Sabbath! I want to encourage you to be kind and compassionate this week, and going forward. Don’t hold grudges and forgive and love the people who have hurt you, and if you realize you have wronged someone or hurt someone I strongly encourage you to go and apologize and make things right. The world is in a dark place right now, we all need to do our part to be a light in this world of Darkness. Forgive, be kind, and compassionate. Do good to those who late you and love your enemies. We are called to be like Christ, when he was on the cross he asked Hod to forgive the people crucifying Him because they knew not what they were doing. We too need to be able to ask forgiveness to people and for people from God. Put our differences aside and do our best to show love and mercy, and to do justly. (Micah 6:8) You are awesome! God knows it, and so should you! . . . . . . . #sabbathsaturday #affirmationscoffee #sabbath #saturday #shabbatshalom #rest #peace #God #Christ #Christian #bekind #becompassionate #showcompassion #love #loveyourenemies #dogood #lightoftheworld #bible #scripture #lifecoach #affirmations #affirmation #dailyaffirmation #dailyaffirmations #passionplanner #pashfam #entrepreneur #christianbusiness #shabbat #shalom https://www.instagram.com/p/CHTHGjpJI4C/?igshid=1g2d1jkbmlpru

🤔 I can smoke, I can drink, I can do so many terrible things to my body. But what gives me the right to do terrible things to another being's body? I don't have that right. .. you're right ! #puns 🙄 --- 🐮 Cows are constantly raped and bulls are constantly jacked off to fulfill a supply and demand that's decreased tremendously because people are realizing the truth. This torture continues to decrease because of the awareness of what is actually happening - Literally, wtf are we putting in our bodies? Dead bodies? Weird .. Why didn't I question this sooner...? 😢 -- #myveganvoice @myveganvoice #vegan #cow #deadanimal #torture #rape #death #unnecessaryviolence #meat #govegan #wakeupworld #savetheworld #protecttheinnocent #loveanimals #showcompassion #bevegan #livevegan #vegangalist #vegansofig #vegansofinstagram #health #healthfood #healthyfood #food #friendsnotfood

Exposed. Embarrassed. Humiliated. Three words used to describe our feelings when we find ourselves in less than comfortable or welcome situations. Situations where we sometimes go into 'survival' mode and try to "Save Face" -> "Fake" like we're OK and Avoid showing Concern or Embarrassment.
Depending on the time and place, a little or a LOT of our energy and time is devoted to Engaging in whatever activity or behavior is necessary to appear "Unbothered".
Why? Because...It hurts to be betrayed and feel disrespected. It's not easy to acknowledge when we've been wronged or when we're in the wrong. It's not easy to look at our Mistakes and admit that we are flawed. And, many times it feels like it may be IMPOSSIBLE to Change our Habits, Correct Selfish behavior alone, or FORGIVE. Thankfully, we do not have to continue to "Save Face". Instead, we can "Seek Grace" when we remember that: "With God all things are possible" (Matt 19:26) and "I can do ALL Things through Christ who Strengthens me." (Phil 4:13)
So, as October comes to an end and we face the last 2 months of 2020 let's try something New. Instead of trying to "Save Face", let's "Seek Grace".
God.
Reconciliation.
Acceptance + Acknowledgment.
Consensus, if possible. If not, Compassion, and always Confession.
Evolve.
Will Seeking GRACE be easy or look pretty? Probably not, but it's worth it. Why? Well, because We all NEED God whether we've been saved for 70 years or 7 seconds. So, Seek God, whenever you've been wronged AND when YOU'RE the one doing wrong. Seek Reconciliation*, when possible. Accept responsibility for your actions. Acknowledge your faults. Or, Accept that your past has passed and Acknowledge that God STILL has a future and a HOPE for you to Live and THRIVE. (Jer 29:11) Seek Consensus, even if you think it may be impossible to come to an Agreement. If it is? Then, agree to disagree. Why? Because sometimes we can admit our past mistakes, but struggle to recognize the patterns that initially led to them. Sometimes two people end up on opposite sides of a line in the sand. So, for the sake of Peace we must agree to Love from afar and move forward. In both instances, we should show Compassion if we can and always start with Confession. Confession to God, Self, and others. Then, we should seek to Evolve and let God work in, through, and around us. It will take time, but it will be a process where our Energy, Time, and Willingness to gradually develop into the people we have been Created to be will have a GREATER impact. How? Eventually we will become Better people. Better Brothers, Sisters, friends, and Children of God. In time we will become more: aware of our Actions, Proactive rather than Reactive, and more apt to either admit fault or acknowledge when we've been wronged so that we can ALL Heal and help heal those around us.
So, again, as we face the last 2 months of 2020 let's stop trying to "Save Face", let's "Seek Grace". Let's Forgive, Evolve, Heal, and be Reconciled*.
*Reconciliation is a Beautiful and WONDERFUL thing. However, it should not mean risking your Health or Safety. Does this mean you shouldn't apologize or forgive someone because of COVID or fear of catching a flight or travelling to reconcile with them? No, you make a call, send a text, or write a letter. However, if you are attempting to, or did, leave a person/situation to save your life, do NOT risk your life trying to reconcile with your abuser/offender. Seek God and the support of your community/resources around you. Specific to DV situations, please reach out to the National Domestic Violence Hotline. For all Abuse situations, reach out to your local community resources and church communities. Most importantly, so that YOU may heal: Forgive your abuser/offender and remember you are NOT to blame for being abused. You are Loved. You are Worthy of being Loved. You can be Healed. You are Important. Stay Healthy and Safe, Beloved.)

Sometimes its ok to not be ok It feels as if energies are running high at the moment, anxieties are creeping in, know that this is ok, sometimes it rains, sometimes the sun shines, there will always be an ebb & flow, this is the natural cycle of life. • In these times, the days you wake up & feel like nothing will go right today, when despair creeps in. Know that its not forever. There will always be good days & bad days, without dark there can be no light, this is true of our emotions too. Next time you have a moment of darkness, witness it with compassion, knowing its not forever, take comfort from that knowledge. It really is ok to not be ok, its part of the natural human cycle. Sometimes we put so much emphasis on happiness, & we really give ourselves a hard time when we're not in that state, but know its not normal tk feel continously happy, if you do, then you are suppressing your natural synergy. When you start embracing this you are able to live more compassionately & lovingly with yourself. Reiki is a wonderful tool to practice sekf love & assist in these times of unease. It can be beneficial in easing anxieties & helping well-being. I asked people who are dear to my heart. Who do a wonderful job with dealing with life and the stigma of mental illness. “If you could, what would you tell people who criticize you for having mental illness?” . . . 1 response was: I would tell them that I was born this way and there's not much I can do to change my chemical imbalances. All I can do is take my medicine and try to live a normal life no matter what anyone says or thinks. Annd that crazy is not the word for mental illness! . . . Another response was: I always say the brain can be ill or disordered like any other system in our bodies. And it is the most critical organ to take care of along with heart, liver and kidneys. Then I explain some mental illness is temporary due to circumstances but if it exist genetically you have to treat it like those other organs. . . . This is very courageous to even explain to others what affects them everyday in this society. Let’s take away the stigma and bring awareness as well as be compassionate. Mental illness is very sensitive and very real. Let’s take away the name calling etc. and embrace and love. I hope this helps someone. #mentalhealthmatters #mentalillnessawareness #mentalhealth #mentalillness #embrace #society #empower #showcompassion #beunderstanding #depressionhelp #bipolarawareness #anxietyawareness #overcomeandgrow (at Long Beach, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/B5tyE2Mn1zM/?igshid=g6sc78plaf44

3rd April, 2018, Animal Vigil- North East Animal Save (NEAS):
Waking up at 5 in the morning to get ready has never been my forte. As someone with anxiety, it can be really unsettling to get out there in the world as it is- today was my second time participating in an animal vigil, and I found it even more challenging than the first time!
The first time I got involved with NEAS was 22nd March, and I was terrified. For those of you who do not know what an animal vigil is, activists stand outside of slaughterhouses, come rain or shine, and peacefully try to engage with truck drivers who are making their ‘deliveries’, in addition to collecting footage of what happens to the animals who suffer as a result of the meat and dairy industry. It was described to me as ‘bearing witness’. I have been involved in activism in the past, but nothing like this! Bearing witness puts you out of your comfort zone. You are at the site of violence and murder, witnessing the last time these voiceless victims will ever see the light of day. It is one thing to see footage of animals suffering online; there is more of a detachment and distance from the situation than actually being there in person.
This time, someone I had met from the previous vigil kindly offered to give me a lift to participate- and I am truly grateful for that, as I find it difficult to discuss veganism with family. Yet, when it comes to meeting new people, I am basically a turtle withdrawn in it’s shell! Anxiety makes my mind race; panic; and stumble over words. Still, I tell myself that I must challenge my mind, do it for the animals. Luckily, the vegan community are all very welcoming, and even though being at a site of such violence can make your brain delve into an isolated and tumultuous stream of consciousness about what you are bearing witness to, it is truly inspiring to be surrounded by so many people who come with compassion and commitment; to one another and for all sentient beings.
In the past, I’ve heard people say that veganism is a fashion trend- it’s not. The activists who come here, stand out in the cold, rain, snow, or heat for hours, witnessing the very thing that they stand against, because they want to show compassion, they want to make a change. Clearly, there is something so much more meaningful than the artificial semblance that people imply!
Before I became involved with NEAS, I had always thought activism was going to be this incredible, full-of-action, and rewarding experience where we made a massive change. The truth is, my experience has shown me otherwise. I’m not saying we don’t make a difference- not at all! What I am saying is that, when you’re out there, waiting for trucks to arrive, you can be stood waiting for a while- and like today- trucks may not turn up. Activism can feel like you’re not making a difference, and like you’re completely helpless to what is going on.
Surely trucks not bringing animals to a slaughterhouse would be a good thing? Of course, in an ideal world I would love this, but my question is, where are these trucks? Did they set off to the slaughterhouse and then hear of our arrival? Were they sat somewhere with a truck brimming with suffering animals waiting for us to leave? For a moment, I asked myself, is our presence really helping or is it making things worse?
Then it hit me.
If my questioning was indeed the case, and then this means that the slaughterhouse feared our actions; they must feel like they have something to hide. We’re not violent, show no aggression, just love for the animals! So why would they stop deliveries while we came? We must be making a difference. They don’t want people to witness the truth. They don’t want you to see- it’s bad for business. This realisation really struck me, and I recalled all the times I heard people criticise vegans for being too militant. Yet, here we were, standing together, our presence known to the slaughterhouse, and it was making a difference. I am beginning to understand more and more why vegans are militant. If we sit back in silence, then these industries would continue unchallenged, and triumphant in their atrocities. If we speak up, we raise awareness in the industry, and with the public.
This realisation was truly enlightening for me, and I feel even more reaffirmed in my hopes for a vegan world than before. If you’re interested in finding out how to get involved, or would like any advice on how you can make a difference, don’t hesitate to drop me a message.
Fight for our world! <3
