HP Reread - Order of Phoenix (Part 3)

Chapter 25, 26,27,28 - OOTP

Antonin Dolohov murdered the Prewett brothers. He will later kill Remus. He is repeatedly implied to be a very deadly Death Eater, and it is his slashing spell that will hurt Hermione in the climax of OOTP.

Harry feeling horrified and guilty at Bode's death: "How come we didnt recognise the Devil's Snare? We have seen this before, we could have stopped this from happening":(

Hermione deciding to send Skeeter a letter due to the seriousness of the breakout, and how much there is need to change the narrative. lol at her being vague with her plans that makes Ron grumble: "would it kill her to tell us what she is up to?"

Lee being an absolute king in trying to turn Umbridge's decree against her. However, he gets a bleeding hand for his effort and Harry has to recommend him essence of murtlap (an info Lee relays to Fred and George, which helps their products)

Neville improving in DA classes so unnervingly that he is only behind Hermione in mastering the Shield Charm.

LOLLL the entire scene at Puddifoot, where Harry feels like if Roger and his girlfriend kept kissing, he would be expected to compete. And then he looks up to avoid looking at them (or Cho), and cherubs throw confetti in his face.

Harry grabbing the sugar bowl when Cho takes her hand off the table. Harry laughing when he finally understands that Cho is jealous of Hermione. Oh god. The second hand embarrassment is real.

Hermione cornering Rita is such fun. XD I love that she makes use of resources at hand - even if she doesnt think much of the Quibbler herself. (Also, she took Sirius' advice, and kept the meeting in Three broomsticks instead of Hog's Head).

The breakout had gifted Harry a desire to do something, and he talked about the most traumatic night of his life so far to a journalist he did not trust on account of that. This also shows his faith in Hermione's facilitation of his need for justice. These two will be scary in the Ministry together.

also, Hermione knowing that Ginny has been sneaking around with their brooms since she was 6, and her implicit criticism of the way people talk about Ron: "at least my happiness doesnt depend on goalkeeping ability"

"You are banned as long as Umbridge is in the school" - Ginny's association with hope, with future, and comfort.

Angelina not letting Ron resign and Harry giving Ron the space to go to bed and pretend to sleep if he needed to <3

Harry being impressed with Ginny's performance and then going, "I would have been faster tho" the audacity of this boy XD

"An interview? What do you mean?" "I mean a reporter asked me questions and I answered her" and Harry throws the Quibbler at her. LMAO.

Cho apologising to Harry:"The interview was so brave, it made me cry" and Harry wishing that she hadnt cried over it. Ugh, this compellingly messy dynamic.

This is such a hard book for Harry. Being so afraid that you would wake up and look like Voldemort. He bites down to not make any noise during his visions, just because Seamus had recently stopped seeing him as a nutter.

Snape once again projecting on Harry - he brings up the idea that Harry seeing dreams and visions of Voldemort makes him feel "special, important". And Harry reflects it back to him, "No, that's your job, isnt it?" "That is my job." Stop your power struggle with a 15 year old Snape XD

Harry did it! He focused on Snape in between memories, and pushed him back with a protego! And Harry sees Snape memories: that imply a domestic abuse situation in his house (hook nose man shouting at a cowering woman while a boy cried in corner), a clear case of neglect (Snape shooting down flies in a room), and a sense of injured masculinity (a girl laughing at a scrawny boy's attempt to get ona bucking broomstick). Snape pushes Harry back at the last memory, and I wonder if that girl was Lily.

Snape also compliments this, "Well that's an improvement. I dont remember asking you to do a Shield Charm, but it was no doubt, effective."

The lesson end at Trelawney's screaming, Snape runs out and so does Harry. Sneaky parallel.

I really love the description of Trelawney to set the scene. My favorite descripton is her innumerable shawls were coming down from shoulders giving the impression "she is falling apart at the seams."

Dumbledore appointing Firenze is such a power move Imao.

a twinkling red star winked at him - reference to Mars, which consistently shows up in text again and again with Harry. Firenze brings attention to this, and the fact that Harry is directly under it is nice way in text to remind us there is a war coming.

"There are things more important than keeping a job" and Hagrid's hands shake. Because this job has been something he wanted, something his name was cleared for.

We get to know that Marietta's mother has been helping police Hogwarts fires, and Willy Widdershin of the regurgitating toilets was let off after he gave info on Harry.

Percy laughing at Fudge's sarcasm, and Harry for the first time expresses anger towards Percy in his internal monologue. Before he was just shocked and confused.

Kingsley modifiying Marietta's memory, to corroborate with Dumbledore's story. That man is quick. He did it immediately after Dumbledore says they can't prove 6 months worth of meetings.

ooh, it is implied that Fawkes' singing kept the four unconscious on the floor and the moment Fawkes leaves with Dumbledore, they are all awake.

Fred and George sending Montague into Vanishing Cabinet and how Montague gets out (nearly killing himself by Apparating) and gives Malfoy the information needed for the plot of HBP.

Snape the nerd, writing foot long answers. I love how much teenage Snape's body language is entirely different from adult Snape, and how much the adult Snape is a construction. Teenage Snape will lie on grass and scream hexes and swear words at you.

James literally traces and embellishes Lily's initials like a dork lol.

"Wormtail was the only one who didnt laugh" : how cute is it that Remus laughs at his own dry joke XD

There is a strong theme of masculinity in this chapter, and James is making a performance of it with the snitch, with messing up his hair and Harry notices that this is done for the girls by the lake. (Harry wondered why James doesnt tell Wormtail to get a grip, and Sirius does it few seconds later much more unkindlyXD)

The power dynamic of the scene is framed with description of Sirius as "dog who scented a rabbit" and underlines it further by Remus' implicit disapproval (that he avoids by staring into a book, my poor bean) and Peter's anticipation (Sirius line in POA comes to mind about how Peter was drawn to the biggest bully in the playground)

Interesting note about James: he uses household spells like Scourgify for an attack. I can imagine him being similarly creative later in the Order. (it gives me such ideas of Transfiguration being his fav subject)

Interesting to me that even though both James and Sirius are on the scene, it is James Lily is consistently addressing.

Snape attempts a workshop Sectumsempra on James' cheek (clearly not the fully developed version) and James turns around and uses Snape's own spell against him. This moment alone speaks to such history in this dynamic.

Lily's "10 things I hate about you" speech is interesting because she also noticed that he was playing with the snitch (something he had nicked). She was also watching him.

Snape, emasculated by the scene, tries to exert power over one thing he has power over: his friendship with Lily. He uses Lily's otherness in wizarding world to reclaim power in the scene, and Lily throws it back at him by calling him the nickname his bullies call him and commenting on his underpants (therefore his class otherness). Utter dissolution of a friendship.

Lily channels her hurt and frustration at Snape's rejection of her onto James when he tries to help, and does a "10 things I hate about you" speech.

James tries to deal with being rejected publicly by Lily by directing his anger at Snape and threatening to take his pants off, in line with masculinity theme of this chapter.

Harry making Dudley-James associations. He will integrate a more complicated view of his father in later chapters (where he associates James with Ron), but this moment, where Harry rejects hypermasculinity displayed by James (but is keen to not reject James himself), is an important moment of moral growth for Harry.

OOTP - Chapter 29,30, 31, 32,33

Cute trip opening scene when Hermione is drawing up colour coded timetable for the boys (and nagging Harry), Ron brightening at the thought of evenings off and Crookshanks trying to get Harry's attention since he is brooding.

Harry is not only questioning James' morality, he is also questioning Sirius' ('look at what he was like himself') and Remus ('he just let it happen'). Later in the chapter, he wonders - "did he want to be like his father anymore?"

looking at Mrs Weasleys easter eggs, a handsome one with snitches on them makes Harry feel emotional. The way chocolate is tied to comfort + longing and Mrs Weasley functioning as an echo of a home.

lmao the scene where Harry admits he wants to go to Umbridge's office is peak Hermione as mum, Harry as sulky teenager and Ron as Arthur to Hermione's Molly scene.

Harry is so hypervigilant in Snape's class for his taunts, it clearly affects his performance in class. Because Snape is ignoring him, he could whip up a decent E level potion (which ofc Snape shatters).

"He attacked Snape for no good reason - well just because you said you were bored" - the apologetic tone Harry says this in and Sirius' quick "I'm not proud of it" shows how careful they are with each other. It is a big step for Sirius to admit he is not proud of his behaviour (because 2 years before, he all but snarled "served him right"), and this is the influence of Harry's distress. Remus also notes this with a "sideways glance" at him. (Remus also, something he hasn't shied away from admitting, owns his own culpability but is also harsher with himself -"did i ever tell you to lay off him?" and Sirius tries to correct/comfort that with "you made us feel ashamed of ourselves")

Harry knowing Hermione's nagging face lolll ("she fixed Harry with a beady eye and opened her mouth with a determined air") and he just interuppts before she starts lol.

hermione predicting Ron will do well without Fred and George around to watch <3

"Kind of makes you wish we had Norbert back, doesn't it?" yes, Harry. Norbert would be far preferable. I really am not sure why we have a storyline where Dumbledore sends envoys to giants so they can have them as allies (as actual thinking beings with political weight) and then write an entire chapter about how Hagrid is stupid for trying to "civilise" Grawp with English lessons. Why are you writing marginalisation like this, where you validate how "savage" Grawp is? Just a book ago, there is critique on how giants face prejudice via Hagrid and Madame Maxime, but then you're like, "maybe the prejudice has some sort of weight cos giants are brutal actually".

Cant believe we get an entire chapter of this and not Ron's victory over Slytherins and in Quidditch.

More on the giant's rant that I have and my absolute loathing for this Grawp chapter: Hagrid's Tale is one of the few times Hagrid is allowed to act as a competent adult - going with Maxime off country to send envoys to giants. For once, he is not someone the trio constantly has to take care of or save from trouble (it's not something I particularly mind, but I do have a problem here - where there is an additional layer of the fact that Hagrid hasn't had formal education. This entire chapter - he is just made a joke of and it reinforces the prejudices wizarding world shouldnt be having)

I really love the opening scene of Ron basking in the glory of having won the match, and he sits under the very same beech tree rumpling his hair, and Harry grins affectionately at being reminded of his father. It shows that Harry is beginning to integrate parts of his father - from seeing him as Dudley at end of SWM to seeing Ron-like qualities in him.

Cho crying out of temper and kicking her broom away after Gryffindor won the match : what a competitive streak. Love it.

"Hagrid's monster mates" - once again, the narrative needs to pick what giants are meant to be.

Griselda Marchbanks, the one who resigned from Wizengamot in protest against the High Inquistor appointment, is apparently friends with Neville's gran. Daily Prophet snidely said she had links with "subversive goblin groups".

Harold Dingle and his powdered dragon claw and Eddie Carmichael and his brain stimulant trade XD

also ron mothering Hermione asking her to eat a decent meal so she can have good sleep <3

ooh, Hermione wondering if she did justice on Cheering Charms (its the lesson she missed in POA when she lost track of time). I wonder if not attending the actual class makes her feel nervous, and not like she had enough time with the information.

Umbridge's "nasty smile" when she sees Harry's patronus in DADA exam: a hint towards her actual involvement in sending Dementors after Harry.

The confrontation between Hagrid, Umbridge and McGonagall is beautifully written. Really love the atmosphere here with the use of lights from the castle, the hut, the moon over the darkness of the lawn to set up the mood of the scene. The moment McGonagall was lit by the stunning spells sent at her? Eerie.

Harry staring at Parvati's hair while sleep-deprived in history exam cos there was something gold in it. He sure likes shiny hair.

there is a question in history of magic exam about how legislation of wand: whether it better controlled the goblin riots in 18th century. The politics of this is brought up in Deathly Hallows, where griphook brings up how wizards have denied other creatures rights of expanding their magical powers by refusing to share wandlore.

Harry's sheer blinding panic and fear in this chapter hurts to read.

I actually really love how bad the communication is between Harry and Hermione in this chapter. Where, in her desperation to stop him, she calls out his "saving the people thing" in an effort to make him understand that Voldemort's playing into an instinct in Harry, and Harry obviously feels stupid about the way she calls it out and thinks she is criticising it as a an attention seeking thing. It makes him less sympathetic to her appeal that it could be a trap, but the scene anyway ends with him conceding to check with her and recognising her offer to come with him to Umbridge's office as "mark of loyalty."

Kreacher's hands are injured cos he injured Buckbeak. There was a lovely Tumblr post I read about this moment, about how combination of Sirius' indifferent cruelty (towards kreacher) and love (for Buckbeak, Harry) is what pushed him towards the events of his death. It perfectly captures his duality.

The conversation between Snape and Umbridge is hilarious. Snape offering his sympathies to Umbridge in case she wanted to poison Harry ("venoms act too fast to give victims time for truth telling"), the ironic bow before he leaves and telling Crabbe to loosen his hold on Neville because if he suffocates, there will be "lots of tedious paperwork" LOL.

Harry noticing that Hermione was not really crying immediately, and knowing that she is scheming XD These two will be a force in the Ministry. Imagine Harry looking at Hermione trapping someone ina courtroom and being like, "yeah, saw that one a mile away. Sucks to be you buddy."

Man, Hermione is having quite a day. Her inexperience with a plan she is making up as she goes along showed, as well as her putting her foot in her mouth. Umbridge is a threat she has known and assessed well, the centaurs, less so. She will grow from this in DH, when she makes bigger elaborate plans with failsafes on the spot. (For example, the Lovegoods escape)

Ginny being astonished that a herd of centaurs left Harry and Hermione behind - suggesting familiarity with the centaur ways. Interesting character note! (also how her and Luna also clearly pay attention in Care of Magical Creatures, as they both remind the trio of Thestral traits - that they are good for finding places riders are looking for, and Harry and Hermione being covered in blood will lure more of them). I wouldnt have paid attention to this detail without @whinlatter lovely WIP "Beasts".

Chapter 34, 35,36,37,38

Proof of Ron, Hermione and Ginny's loyalty and gutsiness: they are willing to ride an invisible horse for hours in the air to help Harry. (also Luna is so cute, sitting all in side saddle)

Harry thinking the veil had a strange beauty to it, and that he felt a strong inclination to walk through it is an indication of his fascination with death. He isn't the only one: Luna, Neville, Ginny are all similarly entranced. Only Ron and Hermione are not and they drag everyone away.

Sirius' knife, Harry's gift is melted by the Love Room in Department of Mysteries :(

Ginny wanting to watch the bird's progress is so cute. Such a lovely detail - I never noticed this interest in creatures before. But she consistently thinks in terms of animals, she even thought the brains they initially saw were fish. ("his eyes are as green as fresh pickled toad" anyone?)

how interesting that the Prophecy Hall is beyond the room full of Time-Turners.

interesting note of how some prophecies having liquid glow (Harry's felt warm as he touched it) and how some prophecies were blown out like a night bulb. Could indicate that the events they had foretold have come to pass etc.

I love during the entire conversation with Death Eaters, you can feel Harry being hypervigilant. He notices the shifts in Bellatrix speaking and makes decisions - once he speaks Voldemort's name, he holds the prophecy tighter because given that he riled her, he expected an attempt to take it from him. And then of course, he is very "improvise. adapt. overcome" with the plan to smash shelves.

Harry's athleticism shines in these chapters where he is elbowing and ducking around Death Eater attacks, launching himself on top of them, heaving Ron when he is out and flinging him when he needs to help the others, rolling over tables to get to doors quick XD

Neville kicking aside fragments of his father's old wand when he carries Hermione. It's his "I'm gonna be my own person not defined by my father's legacy" moment, a parallel to Harry's own in this book.

I love the tiny detail that Tonks is above on the steps, firing spells down at Bellatrix. The distance she keeps, and the detail of Bellatrix and Andromeda resembling each other to the point they could be mistaken for each other, adds such a layer to this detail.

Sirius and Bellatrix are so caught up in their battle that they dont even notice that Dumbledore had arrived. Speaks to their personal history and intensity of their duel.

Harry's child-like denial is utterly heartbreaking. The way he thinks that Remus doesn't understand because he had heard whispers behind the veil, and surely people are hiding there, and that Sirius is just hiding. It is the most child-like he has been and it breaks my heart.

Remus' voice breaking as he struggled to contain Harry, speaking as though every word caused him pain, or just not being able to look at the veil:(

The moment Harry is angry that Sirius would keep him waiting. It is such a childish, entitled reaction. The boy who never expects anything from his adult figures feels like he has the space to be mad at Sirius for keeping him waiting - and then realises, that Sirius would never keep him waiting. And that's how he knows Sirius is dead.

Harry laughing at Bellatrix right after Sirius' death ("a mad laugh to match her own"): the boy really is his godfather's godson.

Bellatrix loves Voldemort, but also fears Voldemort. The moment he comes - Sirius turns from the mocking "dear cousin" to "Animagus Black." She is super keen to distance herself from Sirius in front of him and it calls to the scene later in Deathly Hallows, where she claims she never laid eyes on Andromeda after she ran away.

"We both know there are other ways of destroying a man. Merely taking your life would not satisfy me, I must admit" - contrast this with Deathly Hallows, where Dumbledore leads Harry away from Voldemort's maimed soul in the limbo. Harry feels pity for it, and even tries to save Voldemort, but Dumbledore is beyond that and this scene conveys it.

"And I'll see Sirius again.." it's not only Harry's love for Sirius that drives Voldemort out of his body, but it is also his very raw desire for death. Something he wishes once again, when he is at his parents' graves. (it is this passive ideation that Hermione grasps at the grave and why Harry's desire for Resurrection Stone terrifies her)

"You've been chasing the wrong man for 12 months, it's time you listened to sense!" Dumbledore's feelings of Sirius' fate are also encapsulated in this line. He claims responsibility for Sirius' fate next chapter, but his anger and guilt at Sirius' death is clear here.

Harry's intense guilt and hatred for himself, where he had never before wished he was someone else so intensely, that he was trapped inside his body and mind. It is this guilt, even though he expresses them this chapter, that he will carry with him in HBP and it will come out in moments like strangling Mundungus for perceived disrespect to Sirius.

"I know how you're feeling Harry" "No you dont" : it is both Harry lashing out his intense self-hatred, but also his feelings of abandonment. In his mind, if Dumbledore understood his feelings, he would not have "abandoned" him through the summer or the year. So this moment of Dumbledore reaching out in solidarity after a year of freezing him out makes Harry angry.

Harry just demolishing his office, and Dumbledore remaining calm and detached through it, until Harry himself matches Dumbledore's tone to let him out. Such a well written scene.

The chapter is good illumination of how Dumbledore's distance/detachment and big picture thinking and how it hurts people: Dumbledore locking Sirius and Harry up (Harry shouting this back at him must be a painful reminder of his time with his sister), Snape not overcoming his feelings ("some wounds run too deep for healing").

"I alone could prevent this, and I alone must be strong" - How Dumbledore rationalises his decisions, the weight of the guilt he carries, the calculations he must make. # war general.

"He saw himself in you before he had ever seen you": Voldemort destroying everyone and everything that reminds him of who he is. Strange likenesses from Voldemort is not a compliment, when he wants to be extraordinary, special and unique.

Harry thinking that if only he had just pulled back the veil, he would have seen Sirius greeting him with a laugh like a bark :(

Dumbledore trying to repair Harry's feelings of abandonment by telling him why he didn't choose Harry as a prefect.

Fred and George sending Ron mountains of Chocolate frog after the Ministry fiasco to express their care, in a book where they were harder on him is <3

Ah, that subtle implication that Harry spent hours by the lake, crying about his godfather until the sunset. :( It is gorgeously subtle writing - him getting up at sunset, and wiping his face on his sleeve.

The way the book twists our innards with Harry opening Sirius' gift. :( and how Harry hopes again, and when the hope shatters, he throws the mirror. But it is the very same mirror shard, Sirius' gift that will enable Dobby to help the trio out of the manor, where Harry would ask for help because he saw a parental figure's eye (Dumbledore).

Luna validating Harry's feeling that they were just lurking out of sight, behind the veil and it is this connection with death and understanding of afterlife that comforts Harry. That he will see Sirius again.

Spoilers for the new episode

Okay, before getting into the new episode review, i wanna address something real quick, and I believe you all know what it is.

So before anyone asks, yes, I have been staying up to date on the drama situation.

Imma just say that what Glitch did is awful and very unbecoming of an Indie company for animation, and the employees did not deserve this kind of treatment.

However, this will not stop me from watching SMG4 as a show and draw fanarts of it.

Joining this fandom was the best decision I ever took, and I've meet so many wonderful people that inspired me so much during these past few months, taking me out of an art block and lack of inspiration to do art projects that I had ever since 2020.

So for me to just leave isn't really on my plans, at all, and I will keep doing what makes me happy, and I also have to thank SMG4 for it.

I will not obviously support Glitch by buying their merch, as I do believe they need to apologize for their awful behaviour towards those that didn't deserve this.

Once done that, and once they try to better themselves, I might try to rethink on my decision, but for now, this is my stance on it.

And now, onto the review!

This episode made me had a stupid silly grin the entire time ajhjhsjhds

like, I love how this was Luke and James just hanging out and messing around, and then they went: "This could totally be a video lol we should do that in universe-"

So we get SMG4 and 3 hanging out and playfully arguing with each other on their opinions on their friends and what kind of places theyd have on a power tier list XD

The just giggled like idiots and argued, but this has to be the most playful and friendly approach they had in a while, ever since the WOTFI 2023.

They weren't at each others throats, and it was a breath of fresh air, and a way to show how these two interact when theyre cool with each other

Now you're gonna say: "But this was Luke and James interacting, its not similar to how Three and Four interact. So this is just them using the characters to rappresent themselves."

And my answer to that is that no, it isnt.

You could think of it as a meta way of the guys interacting, but including in universe scenes and voice acting at the beginning and end of the video, makes it so that this is something that Four and Three would do, as friends.

Their relationship is growing more and more, and its a clear sign that these many episodes with these two as protagonists makes it so that its hinting at the next short arc being focused on them.

Now I dont know if it could be a good or a bad sign, but it is a sign nonetheless.

And i cant wait to see what it could develop into.

hiiii, could you write headcanons for the dorm leaders about what you think their ideal s/o would be like?

(if you dont write for that many people, then idia and riddle are just fine :))

Sorry we couldn't write for some of the dorm leaders since we aren't that knowledgeable with some of them and we were trying to post another new content after a few days of being inactive so this is a little rushed.^^

(these are just some of the things we think the dorm heads would want in a s/o so don't worry if you don't have some of these qualities cuz the twst boys will still love you nonetheless <3)

CHARACTERS: Riddle Rosehearts, Idia Shroud, and Malleus Draconia x reader

Riddle:

I think since Riddle grew up in a very strict household he would like an s/o that's really carefree, but wouldn't go over the line of being a rule breaker

Someone who's on the same ground level as him (and no I don't mean that in height XD), someone that can be as responsible as him and put's effort into being neatly dressed and on time to classes.

Maybe someone that has a little sense of unpredictability, Riddle is already used to having his schedule planned out for the day so having an s/o that carries that air of slight mystery around you is a really refreshing sight for him.

Someone that's caring and would always put other's first before yourself, and is willing to stay and listen to him through all the ups and downs in his life.

As long as you can be serious when needed but still have that silly side around you that could even cheer the coldest of hearts up and encourage him to keep going<3

Idia:

When it comes to Idia, I personally don't think he would mind if his s/o is an extrovert or an introvert

as long as you're not too obnoxious and are willing to go along with his otaku antics then he's more than happy to have you for an s/o

And speaking of otaku he would very likely want an s/o that's into the things that he likes such as anime or tinkering around with technology ( he wants it to be his bonding thing with you <3)

A patient s/o. He knows he can be very difficult at time, heck even ortho has a hard time getting him out of his room, so someone that's willing to be patient and wait for him even when he can be very harsh with his words but will still put up with his difficult attitude

Someone caring is a need for him! He's not the best at taking care of his health so he needs someone to remind him to when he needs to stop playing games and rest or eat healthy food instead of junk foods (again he'll be stubborn about it but he'll try just for you :))

Malleus:

I think we all know what Malleus’s type is.

It’s quite known that Malleus is feared by the students of NCR(except the diasomnia group) so of course, he’d want to be with someone who isn’t afraid of him

He’d want someone who understands him, because of his powerful aura he’s often misunderstood by the people.

I think he would be the type to like a curios s/o. It greatly entertains him how ones mortal mind works, so to indulge his own curiosity he would like to get to know what little things pique your interest aswell.

About recent takes of Félix’ father vs Gabriel, Félix’ guilt in “Emotion” & How the amok- child abuse of Adrien works (part 0.1 lol)

Just to make this clear right from the get-go (although is sad that such disclaimers need to be made again): No, this is not written as a Félix Defense Post, this is me writing out my analysis’ and other thoughts regarding way too much out-of-context stuff from “Emotion” and the one big confirmation of Félix’ indeed BEING an abuse victim from leaks which I will only incorrperate as vague concept since tbh I dont remember details and I’m not seeking it out for this.

Aright? Let’s go!

Where is all this stuff about Félix’ father coming from? Are those from even more leaks? From what I have seen in leaks of Félix saying something about the parenting he received I too got my confirmation that Félix’ father was abusive, but where is this coming from that Colt Fathom was alot WORSE than Gabriel?

In my opinion, that directly contradicts Félix’ attitude in “Emotion”. Who knows what exactly happened before that episode, though at the very least Félix most likely knows now that Adrien is Chat Noir and thats what made such a massive difference in him:

Also there was this out-of-nowhere second carmoflaged Black Cat-like ring Félix used as amok object that looked exactly like Adrien’s, although we see later that Adrien is still wearing his? That element of the episode was ridiculously out of context, but Félix’ knowing now that Adrien is Chat Noir makes its existence and the episode overall make alot more sense in my opinion.

Its basically the only way I can properly explain anything Félix-related that happened in “Emotion”, down to his behavior when he mentioned Chat Noir towards Ladybug:

Or the way Argos straight up refused to try and take Ladybug’s Miraculous away from her by his own force. He only asked/ threatened her to surrender her earrings to him but he never went further than that. In fact, her calmly stating that she would never give him her Miraculous was what set Félix over the edge in frustration, because he knew thats IT now. Taking it from her forcefully would mean she would speak up against him when he brings Adrien back (to get the Black Cat miraculous and because Félix WANTS him by his side on good terms), but he cant snap the girl behind the mask away either or else Adrien would see him as nothing but a villain if Félix only has her earrings but SHE is gone.

If Ladybug doesnt surrender her Miraculous and remains there to ensure with her words that Adrien too should give Félix his miraculous, where at that point Félix has the chance of explaining his plan to his cousin that noone is gone for real and he just wants to create a better world for them- which in Félix’ mind lead to a scenario in which he’s not the bad guy. Look, the boy knows he, Adrien and Kagami belong to a race of enslaved magical beings and are at the mercy of tyrannical abusers (Dude, what a sentence!). I’m not expecting rationality from Félix Fathom at this point. He was still 100% the bad guy in this, but I get it.

But even without that... explanation-theory of mine, in episode 18 all I can see is Félix acting on SO MUCH god damn guilt towards Adrien and trying to free him from Gabriel. He literally states he tried to succeed in this episode for ADRIEN:

Then regarding Colt Fathom’s parenting again: when Félix confronts Gabriel about how Gabriel uses them, his family, he does not treat his uncle as a lesser monster than the one Félix (may have? Idk?) known as a father:

Félix went to the upmost extreme methods to get rid of Gabriel in this episode. He sees his uncle as nothing short of a tyrannical monster that needs to get taken out with a literal SNAP so Gabriel has no opportunity to stop him and be remade with a reality changing wish.

But most importantly, when Félix called Gabriel out he named ADRIEN first:

This was NOT Félix only doing it for himself and those are also not the actions and words of a person who views Gabriel as LESS of a dangerous tyrant bc of his own father. No matter how bad Colt Fathom was, Félix is not underestimating his uncle as the madman that he is. At least not ANYMORE!

Not in a single second of “Emotion” do I get the impression that Félix has NOT finally understood in what horrible position Adrien is caught in in Gabriel’s grasp (more on this regard for the Diamond Ball in an upcoming post I’ll link HERE). Which, yes, Félix too partly caused through the s4 finale. This is most likely why he goes to such insane lenghts to try to save Adrien.

Félix feels fucking GUILTY now in hindsight for having sold the one amok ring of his cousin he already had safe and sound in his possession back to Gabriel, along with 15 more miraculous’ to make him even MORE dangerous:

Anyway. While I dont understand where these takes about how much worse Colt Fathom was to Félix than Gabriel to Adrien come from, that claim does seems to be very accurate though to Félix’ point of view of Adrien’s abuse BEFORE season 5. Hence why he was being so god damn awful to his cousin and SOLD HIM TO HIS ABUSER!

The way I see it right now, Colt Fathom was abusive on Gabriel Agreste’s level but he did it in ways more open and “obvious”.

Gabriel is an extremely abusive father, but the worst thing about him has always been that he abuses Adrien in a way for which people cannot easily get him for it. Sure, there has always been ALOT to worry about under the circumstances after Emilie “died” but Gabriel Agreste has always made sure whatever he does to his son he remains untouchable enough from a normal legal perspective.

I’m not sure if child protection services could ever have actually helped Adrien even if they tried, because while Gabriel has been stretching all lines of possible slack problematic parents are being given - because the child cant nor SHOULD immediately be taken away from their parent if not truly necessary - Gabriel has never made.. that ONE slip-up too much and too out-of-line that could set Adrien free from him.

And in my opinion, thats what the show is going for because thats what Félix realized at some point prior to episode 18 about Gabriel’s treatment of Adrien and Adrien’s own behavior towards his father, for which Félix gave him massive shit for just last season:

Félix made a full-blown 180 regarding Adrien, thats the only way I can explain it.

Its GUILT. Guilt and the desperate attempt to save his cousin from the horrible consequences Félix had a HUGE part in unleashing and to be able to somehow manage to somewhat save the strong and basically brother-like bond he and Adrien once had as cousins.

And I dont care what anyone says, its by far the one bond Adrien has with anyone besides Plagg in which he’s literally 100% his authentic self and not any degree of Adrien Agreste™ or Chat Noir™. Seriously, if you wanna see Adrien behaving like nothing but a normal boy, watch him interact with his cousin who’s basically his BROTHER.

And it doesnt even matter how much of a damn dick Félix became, in any interaction these two had in the show you could easily SEE how close these two were/are from Adrien’s behavior. Which btw, makes Félix actions before s5 alot worse, but thats the point. This is WHY he goes as far as he does in “Emotion”. Because they once HAD such an incredibly close bond as Adrien’s “naively trusting” behavior towards him always claimed.

The bond which FÉLIX comitted to burn into the ground in s3-s4:

Guilt I can only explain in the same only way I can possibly explain Félix throwing Adrien under the bus as awfully as he did til s5, and in particular the s4 finale:

I can only explain it if Félix all his life had received the other - but in this case pretty much equal - side of the spectrum of abusive parenthood and Adrien’s abuse simply looked so different and way more ”subtle” and “acceptable by society’s standarts” from what Félix’ knew as highly abusive (when he finally gained freedom through getting his ring, probably at his father’s funeral hence why Adrien wasnt allowed to be there. It’s where Félix has told he’s a Sentihuman) that he didnt recognize it as such and therefore ended up hardcore victim-blaming his cousin because he has it “so much better” under Gabriel’s fist but “still cant take initiative like Félix does”.

Félix at the end of “Strike Back” in my opinion truly thought that even though his uncle is a delusional, tyrannical man, Adrien would be the ONLY person safe ENOUGH with him and from him (I know this sounds like a hypocritical cop-out, but Félix is literally in the ONE family position as Adrien’s close and only cousin, who’s also the only other child in their families but always also lived far away enough to not be around to wittness most of Adrien’s and Gabriel’s father-son dynamic behind closed doors [especially in the last, and most crucial year], that I simply have to say that.. this is so god. damn. realistic. This is a way too realistic variation of how the once close children in abusive families end up as bitter rivals throwing each other under the bus within their own absive family system.)

Félix thought that Adrien is as per usual the ONE exception for Gabriel in EVERYTHING, so giving Papa Agreste the control object and 15 more miraculous’ he can fry his brain away with simply... wouldnt have meant endangering Adrien’s entire life in Félix’ eyes.

Which WE know is the WRONG damn reading of the situation!

But for Félix Adrien was his uncle’s one weakness “out of fatherly love” Félix most likely never knew himself, because Gabriel put/s ALOT of effort into keeping his son in the dark (”overprotectiveness”) which lead Félix to even blantantly using Adrien against GABRIEL bc he knew that threatening to tell Adrien would be the most effective way to make his uncle instantly stop denying that he’s Shadowmoth:

(Also, notice how in the upper picture when Gabriel is denying that he’s Shadowmoth, Flairmidable is shot from the ONE - the ONE - possible angle from where his character model looks similar to Chat Noir.

With whatever tons of context we are apparently missing from prior to “Emotion” regarding this entire Agreste, Graham de Vanily/ Fathom and Tsurugi mess, this visual forshadowing in “Strike Back” is in SOME WAY apparently about to become relevant now. Most likely through Nathalie but eyyyyyy, its not like we have any kind of DAMN context! <3 :D)

I already long assumed Félix’ awful but NEW behavior towards Adrien since his father’s funeral to be the result of Félix despising Adrien bc Gabriel burdened his nephew with the knowledge of being Sentihuman in the worst way and at the worst time possible while “overprotecting” Adrien. But now with “Emotion” it seemed I read it mostly right.

The way I see it, Félix did the one thing unnervingly not even uncommon in abusive families: He couldnt recognize his cousin’s extreme abuse because he was too blinded by his own that looked different, while simultaneously comparing Gabriel’s life-long treatment of him and Adrien.

And since Gabriel has probably always treated him unfairly and “worse” than Adrien in Félix’ eyes (which was probably primarily more arrogant indifference from Gabriel’s side while treating Adrien as a golden boy) Félix then most likely thought that HE was the one truly in danger of Gabriel because he isnt Adrien, when Gabriel in actuality probably wouldnt have paid his nephew alot of mind at all and would have had included him automatically in the new reality for Adrien’s sake if - ironically - Félix’ hadnt involved himself and made himself a thorn in Gabriel’s side by now out of (UNDERSTANDABLE) fear and paranoia.

So yeah, still: Fuck Gabriel.

But back to Félix’ possible abuse from his father and how that blinded him to Adrien’s:

(No, I’m not forgetting Amelie and EMILIE, this is just getting WAY too much for this one post. The three mother figures of this family (Emilie, Amelie and Nathalie) are the crucial puzzle pieces in the Agreste’s & Graham de Vanily’s narrative. I’m gonna tackle that in posts dedicated to them specifically)

If Félix for example was more physically abused with open disdain from Colt Fathom than emotionally manipulated, used and gaslit out of “love”, then he would have a hard time at first (especially if he’s UNWILLING to see it) to understand or even just recognize to certain degree all the red flags of that what Gabriel is doing to Adrien resultes/d in emotional scars so bad that Adrien was/is pretty much suicidal at times and spend most of the show stuck in his mental and emotional escapism as Chat Noir (Still, I’m also pretty sure Félix SHOULD have been the ONE person who SHOULD have recognized the resemblance between Adrien Agreste and Chat Noir, the same way Félix was able to recognize Gabriel as Shadowmoth. But ironically, for that he was too blinded by his victim-blaming of Shadowmoths SON)

And if Félix only has ONE amok object and that means whoever wore it (his father) has 100% control over him, then he could (have) significantly underestimate(d) how BAD the emotional toll on Adrien would have been all his life when he always had TWO objects and that - I must assume - resulted in two 50/50 control holds over him:

(Disclaimer at this point: The show is very consistently exploring 3 unique ways for Adrien, Félix and Kagami in how the same peacock amok control resulted in very individual abuse situations for each of them. The amok abuse is not inconsistend or poorly explained, it was never meant to be a 1 for 3 explaination the same way you cant generalize ONE case of parental abuse for ALL existing abused kids. The show is treating this as legit child abuse the way it should. And yes, I will elaborate on all of that in ALOT more detail in future.)

Meaning only Adrien’s action and emotional compliance can be controlled but not his emotions themselves, which I see no reason to not be the default for Sentihuman who only have one object. Meaning for example, that if Colt Fathom didnt wanted Félix to care about any kind of bond with another person his age but his cousin, then Félix simply would have never felt the desire to have friends and therefore also never learnt how to handle the emotional pain of not getting to have them as Adrien was “allowed to”. Adrien didnt get to have friends either, but I suppose unless you wear BOTH his rings no order about forbidding him to have friends would have stopped him from still feeling the longing to have them anyway.

So Adrien’s sounds “better enough” on surface level - which is all Félix would have seen - but its actually massively fucked up bc the clash between Adrien’s natural emotions and the actions his body and mind are forced to obey would quickly beat a young childs mind into misery and helpless fawning on their own expense just to mentally survive that constant invasion of their mind by TWO sources they cant explain to themselves.

Adrien may have been “allowed” to still have emotions but his living conditions would have quickly turned that into emotional agony because Adrien would still be forced to burry everything deep inside that clashes with his parents orders, or whenever he thinks that his behavior or voiced desires would lead to him being shut down again. Its a malicious circle that pretty much accurately represents the normal cycle of emotional oppression within “regular” emotional child abuse.

Not that being 100% controlled physically and emotionally bc of having just ONE amok is in any way “better” (Holy shit, nah!, and I’ll get to Félix’ and Kagami’s abuse in their own posts), but I cant imagine having TWO the way Adrien does as anything short of mental and emotional oppression & exhaution at best - since Adrien ever since infanthood would always have to FEEL the pain of his orders directly going against something that would make him happy/ one of his basic needs and yet he has to submit to it anyway - or basically torment at worst.

Cause can you imagine if Gabriel’s and Nathalie’s contradicting orders in “Protection” would CLASH in the same moment?? GOSH!!!

This pretty much emotionally ripped Adrien back and forth between the two wearers of his amok rings the ENTIRE TIME ever since BIRTH, which would perfectly explain why Adrien is so emotionally repressed, resilient to impossible levels and instandly tends/tended to remain in denial and fawn or submit as copying mechanism. That would have been the only way he could have mentally survived TWO PEOPLE controlling him at once against his own emotions ever since he was a BABY.

I’d say its a reality check on THIS caliber that made Félix pull a 180 regarding his attitude towards Adrien - again, most likely through Nathalie (who I think would be the most logical person for Adrien now to choose to tell his secret Identity to if he needs help in managing to keep his secret save from his father) and SHE would get Félix involved because he’s aware of Gabriel, has the peacock miraculous and KNOWS what pain Sentihumans go through. But honestly, anything in this direction is guessing into pitch darkness lol.

I have so, SO much more to say on how the control of Sentihumans works but especially Adrien’s unique case of him having TWO objects. I’ve been analysing the Agreste houshold in this regard since around the beginning of s4, but that definitely deserves its own massive post(s) the same way Kagami’s abuse via amok ring (which she got to wear ever since AFTER her debut episode “Riposte”) deserves it own post seperated from Félix’ and this one here.

This is getting SO interesting, I’m LIVING for this scale of fucked up story telling! I just wished we would get it in the right chronological order so I can look at it with all the NEEDED context, Gloob, come ON!

Alright, let's talk Rewind (or my MCYT fics)

i think it's time to finally talk about rewind/remix.

or generally, just my mcyt fics in general.

it's been a while since i updated any of them and trust me, i am very much FILLED WITH GUILT over not updating or continuing them- problem is; i just don't have any motivation in them at the moment. my interest and motivation for them have waned, wilted and withered. the three unfortunate ws that arent wins.

i dont want to say i abandoned them, i hate the thought of abandoning ANY STORY and i like the thought of getting back to them at some point. maybe my motivation will come back, it has in the past and that's a great hope to have.

however i am aware that these stories have been gathering dust and it's possible that motivation will never come back and i hate that.

i know partially why i'm no longer interested? partially- it mainly started with techno's death. it just didn't feel the same anymore now that cc!techno was gone, but if things went differently then maybe i could've continued just as normal. but i'm pretty sure my motivation took a great hit when techno died.

another great hit to my motivation is the whole... thing with cc!dream??? WHICH I WILL NEVER EVEN POKE ABOUT, YOU CANNOT MAKE ME, I WILL IGNORE EVERY ATTEMPT. it felt weird writing about c!dream even though i should REALLY be able to separate the two, cc!s are different from fictional c!s and all that but for some reason i just don't feel too comfy writing him right now.

and since my main series of rewind and remix is MAINLY RELATED TO DREAM- you can see my problem here.

the dream smp is done, over, there is no season 2 and my interest in this fandom is only tethered by the occasional fanfic that i stumble upon and the numerous fanarts that come and go. that interest isn't enough to motivate my writing.

a funny thought though, is that i think i spent a LOT of motivation and kind of burnt myself out in the future back when i was DAILY UPDATING REWIND- like i don't know if you readers remember but i was updating DAILY on rewind. every day, FOR ALMOST A MONTH- something that might never happen again really and i'm still kind of proud of that.

but i'm pretty sure it was very unhealthy of me to do daily updates the way i did- it took A POWER OUTAGE to make me stop doing daily updates and i remember STRESSING OVER NOT UPDATING while the power was out. so yeah, i'm pretty sure i set myself up for failure there XD

but i'm so glad that i was able to at least finish rewind. my very first story that i completed. unfortunately i'm not too confident about finishing the rest of the series (and some other fics).

a friend of mine actually suggested something that i've been thinking about from time to time; i give you guys the outline of what COULD have happened. what i was planning on writing and then completing my works.

it sounds like a good idea but i didn't want to let you guys down in just, giving up like that. but nowadays, it sounds like a better and better alternative than to just wait for my motivation and interest to come back. it's almost been a year already for wishes and family, and remix, i managed to update stream labs a few months ago so that's hopeful but the others...

okay, i'm going to give YOU GUYS the choice here. i'll tell the ao3 readers about it as an important update author's note, but im going to make a poll about this choice soon and i'll even pin it on my tumblr.

it'll last- maybe two weeks? but yeah, it's the least i can do to see what you guys want.

There's only one ship my mind's been thinking about these past... several years XD (yes they are monopolizing me): Troy x Lee (Crazy Dog) x Ri

Who was the one to propose: Depends on the universe, personally I love the versions where at least two of them are planning to propose around the same time hihi. That's always cute and fun.

Who stressed more over wedding planning: This also kinda depends (haha that's what I get for having a million different stories for this ship). I feel like it's a toss up between Troy and Ri. Maybe in (post-)apocalypse versions it's more Ri and in AU versions it definitely feels like Troy. Lee is way too laid back to worry too much (he just wants to spend the day celebrating them and it doesn't matter a lot to him if things dont work out like they planned or anything like that. It just matters that they are together. I mean also good food, I feel like he'd want the food to be especially nice hihi - also, he did this once before so he knows things might go wrong and that that's ok too).

Who decorated the house: Mostly Ri, she's the one that has an eye for making things beautiful. Troy is too practical about things haha he'd never stop to consider the prettiness of things, just whether he needs them or no. And even though he may tease Ri over it or like bitch a little haha at getting 'unnecessary' things, in the end he has to admit (only to himself of course XD) that the house *does* look nicer with Ri's additions. Also he likes seeing her presence there like this. Lee, on the other hand, very much appreciates Ri's sense of beauty from the very first moment. He loves all beautiful things after all... and maybe feels like he doesn't have as good of an eye as Ri. But once she starts with decorating, he tries, too. They have fun choosing things together, he likes her telling him her opinion about what he chooses and also telling him whether it'llf it or no.

Who does the cooking: Ri and Troy. Mostly together hihi. Ri is the better cook but it's a close call. Lee absolutely can't cook. I mean he won't die of starvation of course, he knows the basics, but he doesn't know what makes things taste yummy (which is a tragedy since he so loves good food. I think if he'd be on his own for a bit, without the other two, he may grow depressed from how his food is so bland hahahah)

Who is more organized: Troy is, even though Ri is pretty organized, too. Lee absolutely is the least organized (which is difficult for Troy to watch haha, mostly he's annoyed about it but sometimes it also amuses him. Also he likes to tease Lee about it when the mood strikes. Which Lee doesn't mind one bit, he knows his weaknesses after all)

Who initiates bedroom fun: Well I'd say it's pretty evenly split. In the beginning Troy is always a bit more hesitant but honestly never for long. He's greedy like that. For Lee, bedroom fun (haha) is a very important expression of his love, so once he does fall in love he's pretty horny XD And Ri isn't shy either.

Who suggested kids first: So, in most stories, the first one is kinda an accident hahaha. But the second one, Troy suggests almost always first (except in the one version where Ri didn't even really want the first one, there, she is the one who suggests it). Lee does already have a kid, but he doesn't know is he is alive or dead so it's a bit of a touchy subject with him...

Who’s more dominant: Inside the bedroom, Lee, hands down hahaha. Outside, it depends. Everyone has their area of expertise and the others do defer to it (not always of course, there has to be potential for clashes hihi). I feel like though if Lee really wanted to, he is most capable of stopping the other two with a word or phrase, even if they don't feel like stopping. Though mostly he's the mediator (uhm. more or less. because when there's a fight between ri and troy, both go "lee! do something, s/he's being a meanie!"

Who’s the cuddler: Lee, absolutely. Though they are all very physical. Always touching one another (casual or otherwise) and hugging, even when they're not yet romantically involved.

What’s their favorite non-sexual activity: Basically everything they can do together hahah. No honestly, they enjoy spending time with one another and then it doesn't even matter that much what it is. Coooking, working in the garden or at the house, killing zombies (probably troy's favorite haha), cuddling on the couch, reading together, playing board games. All of it

Who comes home drunk at 3am: Ri. That's not even a debate. Troy doesn't drink and for Lee it would take quite a lot for him to stay out so late to get drunk.

Who kills the spiders: Troy or Lee, though mostly Troy is faster

Who falls asleep first: Lee, he just loves being all cuddled up to his lovers and it doesn't take long for him to fall asleep. The other two call him 'old man' (lovingly. most times) for a reason

I know I should be sleeping but I got thinking about dyeing my hair again and want to get this out here in hopes that I can stop thinking about it xD:

So my next haircolour will be black. I am pretty sure I will dye it in january and I have two possible dates in mind,

January 1st aka let it be the hair I Jump into the new year with - pros: I have all the time i need (since I have new years plans yet and its a sunday) - cons: I might be quite tired doing it at midnight (after the fireworks) so risk getting sloppy with, will make me trapped into actually celebrating ny at home (if by the unlikely happenstance i change my mind and go to the queer bar instead)

January 17 aka the one year anniversary of Cha Cha Cha - pros: cool celebration idea, can feel connected to jere that prob also dyed his hair around this point - cons: its the middle of the week (dont know if i'd started internship at this point) and a choir day (yet the latter can also be a pro since I then will get reactions immediately)

Knowing all of this which day would you think could be most fun :3?

Especially when your boyfriend Kaeya was there. You don't know what storm could brew when hes around. He and Lisa are surely mysterious people. You watched him for a few moments before your gaze lingered on the two talking about you.

Your gaze went back to Kaeya, he looked at you as you moved your head towards the door. Signaling you both should get going as diluc would most likely return soon, the bartender should be good without you both there.

"Your so confusing and mysterious at times kaeya." You'd tell him as you exited Angels share and headed to the Knights of Favonious building. "Maybe thats why you liked me the best~" He'd tell you as many people stared as you walked. Figuring you both hated each other due to being opposites. But hey, you cant blame them.

"I can imagine Klee already got in trouble today. I'd better go bail her out of trouble if I can." "Ohh? Telling me your plans are we? Does that mean I can ruin it?" "No im just telling you." Trying to ignore all the confused stares.

Upon entering the building you went to the Solitary Confinement room opening it to see if klee was inside. Which she was. You closed the door on kaeya as he waited outside of the room. You sat down and held klees hands. "What did you do this time klee?" You'd ask her as she unexpectedly blew another few fish in cider lake.

You sighed as you handed her a few food and drinks. Before getting up and leaving the room. "Anyways did you guys enjoy the "BottleLand?" I heard eula went as well." "Yeah she did, it was nice and one of them gave me and klee a costume."

Leaving the Knights of Favonious buildings you stayed in the plaza looking at all the stares before kaeya asked them to stop and told them about the relationship. Everyone was shocked as they all thought you guys didn't like each other and only putted up with the other for your jobs.

(I had no idea what to do and I kept getting distracted lmao- I was on this for like 2 hours because of distractions from yt, sorry if its bad).

shit she wants the body why. she gives up the body nice. zen really believes sunnie is dead :( teya didnt tell us anything xD wheatley tells parsley we should just go were not getting help here. parsley asks what she even wants from having him back here. making up for the failed marriage for one. and keep him here, like whatever lady.

parsley thinks theres a way they can both get what they want. 'im listening~' fix his wings and let him kill zorbolt, he will come back and make up for what he did. NOT staying, but they can arrange that details. she says 'until I consider you made up for what you did.' 'depends on what you would have me do.' theyll work the details later. also if he doesnt come back his wings will fail.

end of journey is killing zorbolt and getting what is owed to parsley. shes adding us into this deal wtf? she wants us to deal with the robots in the woods? he explains that dealing with zorbolt will stop the bots so it should be good. she wants it done now tho like lady we cant get in the woods. metal animals? something covered in eyes?

also after parsleys deal is done he can come and go as he pleases as long as he doesnt get in the way. deal taken! magical contract! rosemary fixes his wings. but we also still think sunnie is dead and have to go into the woods. parsley quickly puts in a good word for fiddlefink xD basil screams for parsley to visit xD his dad calls him impressive!

senna calls sadly to teya. a guard walks up and says he will lead us to the problem. senna says prayers for sunnie as they follow the guard. parsley tells us about what we gotta fight. senna guesses it might be a beholder. follow the path and itll get close to the creatures.

teya wakes up sunnie! rejoice! senna calls teya a genius xD time to yell at sunnie for coming to the feywilds! senna casts presti on him hes so dirty. he got robbed by goblins wtf xD parsley turns into teya for a joke and teya gets her name back nice!

I don't know at what Baal thought when he choose Atori to go with Shiida at Babyls. It was the worst choice.

He was creepy since the very beginning. he told right to Balam's face "we're gonna destroy the school lol" before saying "in a educational sense". And he told that, knowing that Balam can see liars and cheaters very easely.

Dude you have done everything to be suspect since the beginning.

I dont' know what make him snap during the heartbreaker exam but he has snapped without any special reason and tried to hurt deeply Sabro, to kill Allocer and four first years and finally to try to kidnap Iruma.

Meanwhile Shiida did nothing suspect or weird. She promised "as teachers, we never hurt the students" which is the truth because for her, they were not going to hurt the kids. Even if I think that everything stopped to be "the plan" when she has decided to kick Atori to save Iruma.

Bonus: I love that Baal is totally wrong at the end because he says "Shiida kicked you to save Iruma and then have the trust of the school staff" and meanwhile Shiida is looking at Iruma and says "i'll never let ANYONE hurt you" Dude you are losing a six fingers member XD

Any member of the six fingers would have be better than Atori. Like the number one? It was the one who was with Iruma's group during the Walter Park Episode. We see him being super patient, playing with kids and all. It was also the one who managed to convince Poro to change side. He would have been a perfect "teacher".

But if he's Purson's brother (by the way it means that he has witnessed Soi's performance during the music festival, i wonder if he was proud), it would have been risky. Even if Purson doesn't remember him.

(By the way, don't you think that he also looks like Dantalion? What if it was not Purson's brother but DANTALION's brother. It would be totally a reason to not be choosen XD)

But no Baal chooses the unstable one, the one who was very creepy and who acted suspiciously from the start and who has even not hide it to Balam.

I actually think that this was his plan all along, he just didn't think it'd happen so soon

Because all they had to do get something of delkira. That's what baal said, that's what atori did.

So why send two people instead of one? Why let them stay there for more than a day if all they have to do is retrieve something delkira touched?

And why is Shiida still there? Atori brought baal what he asked for, so why do they still need to shiida to act undercover?

Shiida is a perfect candidate for infiltration. She's an honest person, and she likes children. She's strong so will be able to get out of there if she gets caught. Having someone to back her up will be beneficial in case the worst scenario happened, but that's all she needed. A Backup

But all throughout the heartbreaker, Atori acted like he was the main guy, while Shiida acted like the backup. That doesn't make sense, because as you said, Atori was the worst choice possible.

Atori grabbed everyone's attention while shiida lurked in the background.

Atori stole the misfit's result while shiida just watched

Atori was the very suspicious person balam was interrogating while shiida is the honest but kinda nervous teacher

Atori is someone who likes fighting, while shiida is someone who helps kids in trouble

And like, baal must know this. He is one of the thirteen crowns, he must be clever if he has such a high ranking. He must've known that sending atori was a bad idea

But I also think he did that on purpose

Sending atori with his loud personality with shiida, exciting him with the permission to kill a few kids, so atori would make the 'mistake' of attacking the kids, and shiida would have the opportunity to help the kids and seem trustworthy

He didn't tell atori nor shiida because honestly they look like they're bad liars, so he made it seem like the mission was for both of them to infiltrate the school

Now atori thinks shiida attacked him to gain the school's trust, shiida thinks she's rebelling against the Six Fingers. Now what? Hiw will baal get anything from shiida if she's no longer with him? (I'm going with the assumption that shiida isn't taking part in a very long elaborate plan to get iruma/get rid of sullivan)

Isn't it weird that shiida never seems to be enjoying her time with the six fingers? She's never happy or thrilled with the idea of hurting others, so why is she with them and following their orders?

Two possible reasons

Either she was found from a young age and brought up by someone in baal's cult, or baal holds something over her head. Something that she doesn't want to lose, or maybe a secret she doesn't want to go out. Something that she'd do anything for

So she can't disobey them

She can't escape

Maybe at the end of the day, baal owns her, so she must do as she's told

Or maybe baal went " aright! Shiida is perfect for teaching, but she needs backup. If I choose anyone but atori he'll whine until shiida gets back so better send him" and that was that

Also you're right it's like they're twins

Manburg's Festival was happening tomorrow. The ex-president and your brother figure, Wilbur was telling you not to join them in the war since you were on your last life. You 2 started arguing while the others were watching not sure if they should step in or not.

" You are not joining us [Name]! It's too risky!" Wilbur yelled at you, even if he was insane he still cared a lot for you.

" Will I'm not a child anymore! I can protect myself! Just because I'm on 1 life left doesn't mean I'll die out there!" You yelled back at Wilbur

" Should we stop them?" Tommy whispered to Technoblade

" Nahh, I wanna see how [Name] will win." Technoblade whispered back

You 2 were arguing for about 10 minutes until Wilbur decided to give up and let you join them.

" Fine [Nickname], but you better stay near one of us. Don't go running off fighting alone." Wilbur sighed, You lifted your fist in the air

" Don't worry Will, I won't!" You had said excitedly

The next day, you were getting ready for the festival making sure not to forget anything.

" Well let's go woman!" Tommy pulled you running towards Pogtopia. You see you didn't really live in manburg nor did you live in any of the other nations, you were simply just outside all of the nations (though you originally lived in l'manburg you just moved out When Manburg became a thing). When you two arrived, you saw Wilbur and Technoblade talking with each other. You couldn't really hear them but you figured they were just talking about the plan.

" GUYS [Nickname]'S HERE!!" Tommy had yelled, the two looked over at Tommy and you. You waved at them and they went over to you two, Wilbur and Technoblade started bombarding you with questions such as: ' Are you fully ready? ', ' Are you sure you wanna do this? ', ' Do you have everything on you? ' ' Do I need to collect more stuff first? '. You sighed,

" I'm okay guys, You don't need to worry too much about me." You had said to them, they stopped talking and looking at each other with concerned faces. They then just shrugged and looked back at you,

" If you're really sure then." Technoblade said, Wilbur checked his watch and realized manburg's festival is gonna start soon.

" Well we better get going." Wilbur walked outside with the rest of you following him.

Once you arrived there, the 4 of you got off your horses. You and Technoblade went to where the festival was, while Tommy and Wilbur watched from afar. When you and Techno got there you immediately got tackled into a hug by none other than Tubbo, your other younger brother figure.

" [Nickname]!!! You're here!!!!" He said while grinning widely, you giggled and ruffled his hair

" I couldn't miss this chance to see you and my friends again." You hugged him back, you heard 2 gasps nearby. You looked and saw Niki and Fundy, Tubbo had pulled away then Niki and Fundy ran over to you and and hugged you while you almost stumbled

" [Name]!!! I can't believe you're here!" Niki said, Both of the two hugged you tighter.

" O-ok not too- tight I can't breathe-" You had said while trying to breathe, they immediately pulled away and asked if you were ok. You answered them it was fine, then Niki and Fundy made you and Techno follow them to play some games. Of course you and Techno started showing off your cool moves with your guys' tridents, you could hear Tommy and Wilbur mocking you and Techno through the earpiece you had and you sent them a death glare to where the said boys were hiding at they immediately stopped after.

After about half an hour it was time for Tubbo's speech, Tubbo had did your guys' sign language and he had signed his conversation with Tommy and Wilbur, You signed back signing that he should make his own decision and for him to really think about it. You guys smiled and nodded at each other, you and Techno went to sit beside each other. After a few minutes you heard the mic turn on and Schlatt started speaking in a weird voice, on the stage Tubbo can be seen trying to fix Schlatt's mic while in the audience Niki is just yelling at Schlatt.

You had a bored-looking expression on your face, Techno noticed and whispered to you if you were ok, you whispered back with a yep and Techno just nodded. After Schlatt's mic was fixed he started speaking about how he likes to make fun of Tubbo and you had frowned at that, but he did mention the fact that without Tubbo the festival wouldn't have happened, you felt proud of Tubbo for being this amazing to do something like this.

When Schlatt finished talking he let Tubbo speak and Techno yelled ' WOOO! STATE SECRETS! ' you nudged him and got him to stop, Tubbo then started his speech when he mentioned something Schlatt had said then everyone started cheering except you and Techno, Techno was yelling ' Boooooo! ' while you were just sitting there quietly.

" Schlatt has successfully washed all of the insects of our great nation! " Tubbo said, your eyes widened and you frowned

' The fuck is that supposed to mean Tubbo? ' You thought to yourself while Tubbo was continuing his speech

" Ladies and gentlemen I'd like you to look around - " Tubbo said before you cleared your throat loudly and raised your eyebrow, Tubbo realized and immediately corrected himself

" And others. As I was saying, I'd like you to look around at what we've built today, look at each other. All of this thanks to democracy and the leadership of Jschlatt! " Tubbo had said, you just rolled your eyes at the ending of his speech while everyone else was cheering

After a few more words you realized Tubbo was gonna say it, you leaned forward from your chair waiting for Tubbo to say it

" Let the festival Begin!" Tubbo had finally said it, your eyes widened and you smiled. You were kinda supportive of Manburg blowing up, sure you lived there but you didn't really mind since you were thinking the same as Wilbur, If we can't have it then, no one can.

You looked at where Wilbur and Tommy were and you saw Wilbur smiling and Tommy with wide eyes, Wilbur looked at you and you both nodded at each other knowing what Wilbur was about to do. You saw Wilbur run off to the button, you looked back at the stage seeing Schlatt and Quackity jailing Tubbo? You were confused but that changed when you heard Schlatt saying he knew Tubbo was working with Pogtopia, your eyes widened knowing what was going to happen to Tubbo.

You were panicking in the inside but somehow managed to now show it, Technoblade was called by Schlatt. You and Techno were confused but Techno went anyways, you were just watching him go to the stage. You looked away and saw Wilbur trying to find the button, you got your communicator out and texted Wilbur if he's okay; he replied immediately saying the button is gone, your eyes widened and you looked back at the stage to see Techno pointing his loaded crossbow at Tubbo. Schlatt was telling Techno to shoot Tubbo, you knew Techno was getting really pressured and the voices were probably telling him to do it. You were really nervous for Tubbo and was about to message Techno when you heard the fireworks. Your hands immediately covered your ears when all of a sudden you saw a firework going towards you, the last thing you saw was Techno carrying you while Tommy, Tubbo and Wilbur behind.

The 4 boys tried everything they can to see if you would wake up but it was no use, you were dead.

Tommy and Tubbo were sobbing while Niki was comforting them, Techno had tears in his eyes but couldn't be seen because of his mask, while Wilbur was just angry.

" WHY DID YOU SHOOT THEM TECHNO?! THEY WERE ON THEIR LAST LIFE!" Wilbur yelled at Techno, Techno looked towards Wilbur

" I DIDN'T MEAN TOO! I WAS UNDER PRESSURE!" Techno yelled back at him, Tommy stood up

" FIRST TUBBO THEN [NAME]?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU TECHNO!?!" Tommy shouted while tears dropping from his eyes, Techno looked at him offended

" I TOLD YOU I WAS UNDER PRESSURE!" Techno had said angrily while tears also dropping from his eyes

The 3 started arguing with Wilbur and Tommy against Techno while Niki and Tubbo were trying to calm them down, what they didn't know was that something was going on with [Name].

" Who are you and how do you know my name? Also uhm, where am I?" you asked with a raised eyebrow

" To answer your questions, you are dead and you're in the underworld, I am DreamXD, God of life (or whatever he's the god of)." DREAMXD had said

" Wait I'm dead?" you asked

" Yes, You died from a firework. You were sent here because you're going to be sent somewhere else." XD replied, you were confused when he said that you were going to be sent somewhere else. That quickly changed when you started to get light-headed, the last thing you saw was XD reading a book and snapping his fingers. You passed out.

You landed on the ground while passed out, the Emperors/Empress' checked their commuincator and saw the notification. Everyone was confused on who was U/N.

Sheriff Jimmy offered to go to spawn to see who it is and the others agreed. Jimmy walked to spawn to see (h/c) person passed out on the ground, Jimmy rushed over to them and carried them. Jimmy then brought the person back to TumbleTown, The others were confused and concerned. Jimmy set the person down on a bed and Gem walked right beside the bed

" they don't seem familiar..." Gem said, she then checked the person's pulse and forhead.

" Though they're probably passed out, they'll wake up in a bit hopefully. Jimmy is it okay if they could stay with you for now?" Gem said while looking at Jimmy

" Of course." Jimmy replied and Gem nodded, a few moments later Gem and the other emperors went out of TumbleTown aside from Jimmy.

Your eyes shot open and you looked around not knowing where you were, you heard the door open and saw a blonde(or whatever hair color jimmy has) man that had clothes of a sheriff. Your eyes widened and you started panicking, the sheriff noticed and ran towards you trying to calm you down.

" Hey hey.... It's okay..." He said hugging you, a few minutes later you calmed down. You then introduced yourself and the man introduced himself as Sheriff Jimmy or Jimmy. You two started chatting, you were telling Jimmy what had happened to you before you came here. Once you finished explaining you started to get hungry, Jimmy noticed that and mentioned he was going to get you food. Once Jimmy got the food ready you started eating while still talking to him, turns out you 2 have a lot of common interests. The next day you met the others and they were so friendly with you, Jimmy let you stay in TumbleTown since you hadn't built your empire yet. The next few weeks you got closer with everyone especially Jimmy, you were living with him afterall, slowly you may or may not have grown feelings for the sheriff.

As months went by you built your empire, [Choose whatever name you want for the empire]. The other rulers were really impressed with your empire, complementing it everytime they see it. Within those months your feelings towards Jimmy grew stronger, everytime you'd see him your face would have a slight pink tint. Gem and Katherine noticed this and started encouraging you to confess to the sheriff.

A few weeks later, you finally got the courage to confess to Jimmy. Coincidentally, Jimmy had asked you to hang out with him; you accepted and waited for when Jimmy was going to arrive. Once he arrived, you two went out and Jimmy brought you to a mountain where a picnic was set up. You teased him asking him if this was a date, he flushed but said indeed it is. You were surprised and flustered, that changed when you heard Jimmy saying if you were gonna join him or not. You of course sat down on the blanket, you 2 started eating while chatting. Once you 2 were finished eating, you noticed the Sun was setting and the view was just beautiful. You stood up and walked over at the edge of the hill and sat down, Jimmy did the same. You stared at the sunset amazed by the sight, you looked at Jimmy and saw he was staring at you softly. You two started staring at each other getting lost in each others eyes, until you two got snapped out of it and looked away flustered and embarrassed. You heard Jimmy sigh

" Hey [name] I uhm, have something to tell you." He said rubbing his neck, you looked at him

" I do too..." You replied

" How about we say what we wanna say together?.." He asked tilting his head, you nodded. You both took a deep breath

" I love you Jimmy/[Name]!" You both said in unison, both of your faces heated up when you realized what you both said. You stared at each other

" I- I love you too..." you both said in unison again, you both chuckled awkwardly. You two stood up and hugged each other, you slightly pulled away to look in Jimmy's eyes while Jimmy doing the same. You didn't notice but you and Jimmy were slowly getting close to each other, soon Jimmy just went for it and connected your lips together gently. Your eyes widened, but they soon closed as you both smiled in the kiss. Jimmy caressed your cheek while your arms snaked around his neck kissing him back, you two were just having a romantic moment when all of a sudden you hear multiple squealing and cheering. You both pulled away to see your's and jimmy's friends in bush cheering, they realized you two noticed them and their eyes had widened. They chuckled awkwardly and they all ran away, you and Jimmy looked back at each other and laughed. You then continued your romantic moment by kissing Jimmy and him kissing you back. You both pulled away and look into each others eyes lovingly, you shoved your head into his chest, he chuckled.

The selfship that almost was: my ridiculous experience with Trigger Happy Havoc.

Spoilers for Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc, and the bottom part of this post (starting where you see Kaito's picture) has spoilers for DR V3!

You can absolutely laugh at me for this post. Shit gets wild.

I played THH I think 2-3 years ago? It's almost a year since I played SDR2 and I played DR V3 this year.

Some time before my little sister asked me to play THH (and to let her watch me play to see my reactions), I had already spoiled myself to Chihiro's death. I didn't know her killer, but the video I saw (it was so long ago I really dont remember which video this was) mainly talked about her gender in the game. Somehow I ended up picking up the detail that Mondo trained with her, but not that he was the one that killed her?

Anyway, so going into the game I knew I would like Chihiro but tried not to get attached because I also knew she would die, so I tried to see other characters I could like. If I had been less self-conscious (keep in mind my little sister was watching me play), I would have spent more free times with Hifumi. I tried to pick a more "normal" character, or at least more normal to admit to liking?, and apparently I don't know what normal means because I thought this was Toko.

Toko was mean, but I chalked it up to her being terrified of the situation and everything happening to them. How was she supposed to trust anyone in a "killing game"?! Of course she freaks out! Of course she hides in her room! Of course she has trust issues! Okay but none of this excused how mean she was, but maybe that was her defense for being scared? I could also relate to her not exactly being warm to the other girls in the game, and I admit my first impression of Aoi was petty and negative and I didn't trust her (sorry Aoi, this was unwarranted and stupidly biased in hindsight. I didn't like her because I had this impression about her being a "mean popular girl" -because she showed off her boobs I guess???- and the rest of the game threw me off so much I didn't really stop and rethink this assumption. That was a fail on my part. Thankfully I learned not to make the mistake with Akane). It's also funny that I thought Aoi was "too girly," considering that she's one of the only canon Danganronpa girls to wear something that isn't a skirt/dress, and she was in sort of a relationship with Sakura. First impressions aren't everything, as I would realize later come to realize with Toko.

I felt so bad for Toko, and I was annoyed at the time that we were playing Makoto because I wanted to play a girl character who was nicer to her, who was lesbians with her (yes, I had a crush on Toko. HAD. You can probably guess what made that crush dissipate.) I had this idea about writing a fanfic where my s/i would try to protect her "like she's my little sister," except obviously this was a lie because she didn't want to scare her away by admitting to a crush. In hindsight, this fanfic idea would have been hilarious. Assuming I actually could win Toko's affections, I planned on being a bit annoying and clingy (simping) but doing everything to prove I was keeping her safe, she would have been pushing me as far away as possible to avoid me becoming Genocide Jack's next victim, insulting me to get me to leave while I weigh every insult against the consequence of losing the only character I made a big connection with. Also, I know I would never be able to handle a tsundere insulting me the way Toko would, but I was considering working around that by having my character be desperate to latch onto somebody to be safer during the game, though I would still try to take on the role of protecting Toko. Is it wrong that it makes me laugh to imagine writing this and then having Genocide Jack kill me? XD

I had so much trouble picking out items I thought Toko and Chihiro (the two characters I spent free times with) would like, and my sister would get impatient with me if I reset to try to pick a better item to try to activate a cutscene. I only got three cutscenes with Toko, and none with Chihiro. It was pretty frustrating when I wasn't getting anywhere. I think I talked to Yasuhiro a bit too, because my sister asked me why I was spending so much time with Toko and I didn't want her to catch onto my crush (lol).

I figured Toko probably had a secret, but my idea of it was very simple. She was showing such a tsun side, and her backstories revealed how lonely and heartbroken she was, I figured that her secret was probably something sweet and cute to show her dere side. Since she struggled to be nice to people from her trust issues, maybe she was volunteering at an animal shelter, and had a pet she was very close to waiting for her at home. We'd get to see a picture or something. Her in a shelter uniform with the dog or kitty she was fond of. Something sweet like that. That was the image in my head.

And then Chapter 2 hit me like a ton of bricks.

Chihiro's death didn't shock me, though I was surprised it showed up so early. Oh well, at least I still had Toko to spend free times with! I should probably pick another character because again, my sister would get impatient if I just spent all my free times with one character (to be fair, my sister was like 14 at the time and we had limited times to play this game, I can understand.)

It's funny, this chapter had Byakuya acting even more obnoxious, and also introduced him being Toko's crush, so I was like "ah, my rival is a total jackass." Also, he seemed hella gay and not interested at all in Toko, so I wasn't too worried. When he told Makoto not to enter a room in the library and Makoto's just like "okay! :D" I had two thoughts: "Wow, Makoto is a dumbass" (this would become a running gag with me and my sister saying this), and "Byakuya is probably the murderer. Even if it's not this case, probably another one." And when Byakuya became more obnoxious in the trial, I was like "Oh, revealing you as the murderer and seeing your execution is going to be SO satisfying. >:D"

And then... he was one of the survivors!!!

FREAKING.

Don't get me wrong! I laugh about it now. I'm laughing right now. Well played, Danganronpa. This game trolled me so much. I don't even hate Byakuya anymore, well I kinda do, but he's the character that's fun to hate. I don't seriously hate him anymore. I laugh about how ridiculously mad I got about this. Feelings about feelings are funny like that.

Speaking of which, I was even less prepared for the Toko twist because-

WHAT THE HELLL?!!!

Poorly written multiple personality disorder, AND she was a murderer, but she wasn't even the murderer for THIS case?!! I guess I can't say the game was predictable or boring, but what the hell was this?!

Also, the scissors thing and that tongue...you cant. You cant. You cant say she's straight and obsessed with men and then give her all this lesbian symbolism, game. What are you doing? From this point on, Danganronpa was confused. Or maybe I was confused, I don't know. I was so very confused. I was still attracted to her, maybe more attracted to Jack now, but what the hell was this?!?! All the directions they could have taken her character and THIS is what they chose to do with her???!!

I like to joke now: Chapter 2 is actually the first double murder in the game. They killed Chihiro in the living sense, and they totally murdered Toko's character in the writing sense, in a way that I almost wish they had really killed her off instead. That would have been kinder to her than...this...

And I thought her big secret she was a volunteer at a damn animal shelter. Help me. 😭

It really did frustrate me, because even though she was very cruel I could relate to how cold and distant she was to everybody when she was scared, her trust issues, her clearly wanting someone to protect her and care about her but also being too terrified to trust someone enough to give them the chance to do that. I think you can see where I attached to Kazuichi for...the same exact reason, damn.

But honestly, Genocide Jack wasn't even the worst part of her writing from this point (shocking, right??!!)

No, the worst part of it was that the rest of the game, Toko would only appear every once in a while to simp over Byakuya. Literally nothing else (as far as I remember). And then she would disappear and in her place would be Jack.

Which, ngl, Jack was sexy and hilarious. I know I got like, one free time event with her. But still, she wasn't Toko! :(

It frustrated me to see this character get turned into an ableist joke. Any idea of a subversion, that maybe they were telling the player that they could consider Toko's perspective, that she had a sweeter side behind her scared, bitter self, that maybe the loser girl shouldn't be rejected by everyone... NAH! She's actually mentally ill and a freak! Let's just make fun of her mental illness and separate from liking her as much as possible! That's what it felt like playing the game after this, at least when I think about Toko.

My real favorite in this game, among the survivors, was Yasuhiro. I was convinced he would be the last victim, and I was so happy he wasn't. Bless him.

I was happy to finish THH, I needed closure for the story even though it was frustrating to see characters I started to like dying almost immeadiately and having barely anybody I cared about still around. "So in the end" (to quote Sakura) I had mixed feelings about Toko, Byakuya, and Aoi being survivors (in hindsight I was judgemental and wrong about Aoi and my feelings toward her have become more positive since then!), but I was glad to see Makoto, Kyoko, and Yasuhiro as survivors. My sister wanted me to play SDR2, and I told her I needed some time to pass before I decided to take on this game. Before I agreed to it, she had to reassure me that it was so much better than THH.

I was so worried about Kazuichi going the same route as Toko, but I took a chance at trusting her, and throughout the game she constantly showed how helpful she was and how kind she wanted to be. It wasn't as much development as I would have wanted, but it was better than what happened with Toko. There was no character assassination like Toko.

I find it so funny that I fell for the "simp" characters, and for these two games it was before I found out they were the simp characters. For Toko, it was because she was "the weird girl." For Kazuichi, it started off being because of her appearance, and continued as we learned that she was smart (a mechanic!) and helpful (she gave a thumbs up!). Yes, that is actually what made me first fall for her. You can laugh. As soon as she gave a thumbs up I knew I could trust her. Yes, I am aware that that reason is absolutely bonkers, I dont care. I'm so happy I was right this time.

^^Check out the family resemblance. This is her cousin, my cousin-in-law Kaito. Kazuichi and Kaito being cousins is my headcanon. I headcanon Kaito as the older cousin, even though that probably makes no sense timeline wise. Heck, none of DR V3 makes sense timeline wise, so I do whatever!

Also, the pattern continues, as I admit I have a crush on Tenko as well. It's not as big as my crush on Kazuichi, it sort of comes and goes for the time being, and if I ever selfship with her I want to get a better sense of her character before I write her into the relationship (I'd like her to be with me and Kaz, also I'm not sure if Chihiro being part of the ship is still in my canon or not), but I wanted to mention it at some point and it's relevant to this post. Tenko had great potential, and she got some development she deserved, though the death she absolutely did not.

I guess the moral of this story is that you can trust again. Sometimes that trust will be broken, but sometimes it will help you find love. You have to take that chance.

All the places I could have learned this moral and it was the Danganronpa series. Wild.
