Lately I've been pondering alot on footwear in the wizarding/wixen world...

There's so much to tap into fashion wise...like what the hell does just "robes" even mean Terf-face McRowling????

And I feel like the fan base has done such a wonderful job to portray their own beautiful and unique designs and descriptions... but not so much on shoes 🤔

Like the most generic thing is for them to be walking around in muggle shoes or "loafers" or "dragonhide boots"....

The best Severus and Harry dynamic is when everything is exactly the same and they absolutely loathe each other

But also Severus is the one Harry goes to when he has a nightmare, the half-asleep Severus asking if he needs to 'kiss it better' (mocking, snarky) or 'actually kiss it better' (serious, protective) and he just needs to see how Harry reacts to know whether he needs to comfort Harry or if he's good to make fun of Harry until Harry's so annoyed he stops being upset. Severus is the one who kisses Harry's forehead when Harry absolutely wrecks himself playing Quidditch. Harry's the one who drags Severus to bed when Severus is trying to power through a headache. Harry's the one who cheers Severus up when he's upset by just being a sassy lil shit and cracking Severus up.

And it's even funnier when Remus Lupin is the only person who doesn't understand what the hell is this hot-and-cold dynamic? How the hell can Sev both hug Harry after a nightmare and yet also try strangle him when he says one thing wrong? And why is everyone so normal about this?! Why isn't anyone concerned?!

To everyone else, it's pretty obvious to everyone that Remus is an only child.

Why tf is there a pro-ahh Regulus post in the Snape tag with the "cutesy" headcanon "Only James knew Regulus threatened Snape not to expose Lupin as a werewolf"? More specifically, why tf is this considered good or cute?

Excuuuuse me? Regulus was a blood-purist. Guy would absolutely jump at the chance to expose Lupin. Except he didn't because he likely never found out. You know, because it was Dumbledore who canonically covered up a student almost dying on campus grounds?

Sometimes I sit and think about the fact that Severus leading the death eaters through Hogwarts after just killing Albus must have been one of the most heart breaking moments for him.

His memories of Hogwarts may be far from perfect but at the end of the day that was where he grew up. That was the place where he escaped his abusive homelife and father. Where he spent time with Lily. Where the students who he was certainly harsh on but cared for all the same lived. Where they believed they would be safe.

I can only imagine what a traitor he must have felt like in that moment, even if it was all at Dumbledore's request. Even if he knew at the end of the day it had to be done its sad that it had to be him, who had been demonised since the Marauders began picking on him as a student, to the day he died had to add another cruel deed to the long long list he already carried with him.

And that's by far not even the most depressing Snape moment, just something that hurts my heart.
