For those that love them like I love them - we gotta revel like we do best over two iconic characters that make up the best of the best TV couple, brought to life by two beyond incredible actors - Richonne 🙌🏽

The most reoccurring question I've got over the years is, "What's your favorite Richonne scene?" And years ago, I said I'd share a Top 30 scene ranking one day. In the past, I always used to time my posts as a sort of countdown to a TWD premiere or trailer etc. So when Rick and Michonne left TWD, I knew I'd share my Top 30 Richonne moments leading up to whenever they finally came back to us. And now at long last, we’re going to see Rick and Michonne Grimes' story continue and close out in what I know will be a really beautiful way.

Richonne is finally back, so it’s time to revel in a Top 30!

With just a month before their long-awaited return in the TOWL premiere, I want to journey down memory lane like old times and each day recap and reflect on the top 30 scenes that most make me love Richonne. 😊 (And you’d think 30 is a lot so it shouldn’t have been hard to make and rank this list...but it was. 😅 Their every moment is just so top-tier) Revisiting their scenes completely confirmed that Richonne never gets old because their love story is still as mesmerizing as ever. 🤩

Interestingly, the only scene on the list that never moved from its spot is my number one favorite moment. 😏 I’m excited to countdown and celebrate Richonne as we anticipate their return. And if you have anything you love about any of these top 30 scenes, I always adore hearing thoughts on Richonne, so I’d love to hear yours! I hope this daily list countdown brings just a bit of the joy that Richonne brings to us all. This should be fun 😌

Imagine starting a job at Hybe and catching the attention of none other than Mingyu himself but this isn't the first time you've met...

You'd always dreamed of becoming a professional dancer and you finally achieved that when you were offered a place a Hybe as a dancer. You moved to Seoul for the role and were ready to start your new life. You had some friends already in the city, and on your first night, they took you out for a welcome meal and drinks. While you were in a bar your friends noticed a good-looking man a few tables away looking at you but you didn't really care. When you came out with friends that was the only thing on your mind so he could be the hottest guy in the world but you wouldn't talk to him. This was pretty accurate considering the man was none other than Seventeen's Mingyu.

The man continued to watch you but you just ignored him. Then when you were walking to the bar the man called out to you. "Miss I think you forgot this" he called holding out a tissue to you and you paused "that's not mine". The boy hesitated before saying "are you sure because I'm certain it is. Do you want to check?". You shook your head "no it's definitely not" and went to walk away when he laughed. "Okay so it's not but I wrote my phone number on it and was trying to do a whole bit...basically I think you're really pretty and promised my friends I'd ask you out". You looked behind him and sure enough, his friends were watching. You smiled "that's nice of you but I'm not looking to date anyone at the moment, plus I'm out with my friends and so guys are the last thing on my mind". The man nodded "of course sorry for bothering you". You shook your head "no problem have a nice night" and walked away. When you got back to your table your friends asked why you didn't take the number and you shrugged "he was a stranger". "But a hot one!" your friend cried and you looked at her "and?". Your friends laughed "so you haven't become a huge softie when it comes to love and romance huh?" your friend asked and you shook your head "nope. That's just not who I am and nothing will make me that way".

You had a lovely rest of your night and enjoyed a peaceful weekend before your first week at work. You arrived on the first day and were given a tour. They told you you'd be working with a mix of Hybe groups but in particular you'd be with Enhypen, Le Sserafim and Seventeen. You didn't know tons about kpop, mainly just the iconic dances but knew Hybe had great dancers so we're excited. The tour took you to the groups' different floors and the final stop was Seventeen's. They weren't rehearsing and all appeared to be messing around which the tour guide didn't seem to like but you got a good glimpse at the guys and spotted one familiar face.

The guy from the bar! He was in there! You couldn't believe it and wanted to stay to make sure but were hurried along. The second you had a break, you pulled out your phone and searched the Seventeen members and got a name. Mingyu. One of the main visuals of Seventeen who you'd now be working...whose offer of a date you'd rejected. Luckily he had a reputation for being a nice guy so you figured he'd just pretend nothing happened or hell he might not even recognise you. The more you read about him the more you figured he was a guy who got tons of romantic attention. He probably found another girl 5 minutes after you so you thought he might not remember it and you weren't going to remind him. However, when you were introduced he dropped his water bottle loudly and suddenly, so you guessed he remembered you.

Mingyu planned to act like he didn't know you but he was pretty sure he'd blown his cover so just decided to come over to you. "Hi" he said nervously and you smiled back "Hey". "So last weekend?" he asked and you chuckled "I wasn't sure if you'd remember me". "Of course I would" Mingyu said "I obviously had no idea who you were and my timing is wonderful as always. I'm sorry if I made this uncomfortable". You shook your head "no not at all, it's fine". Mingyu smiled "good well welcome and I promise to be nothing but professional" saluting awkwardly and you could see the regret going through his eyes as he did i. You laughed slightly and smiled back "that sounds great and thanks for welcoming me" and did a mini salute back. Mingyu laughed and nodded "no worries" and walked away.

Some of the members had seen you talking but when they asked Mingyu what you were discussing he just shrugged "nothing I was just welcoming her". Scoups shook his head "of course you're flirting with the new dancer on our first meeting with her". Mingyu shook his head denying it but the boys didn’t let him drop it. “She’s totally your type as well” Jeonghan said and Hoshi nodded “yeah she looks like that other girl Mingyu liked!” and the others all nodded. “It must be fate” Dk smiled at him but Mingyu thought fate was too kind a word for you turning up at his work suddenly.

However the good news was nobody knew what had happened between you. The friends Mingyu had been with at the bar were kpop idols from different groups so his members had no idea what was going on. You weren’t going to tell them and were acting pretty chill so Mingyu knew you’d keep the secret safe…but that didn’t mean Mingyu forgot about the encounter. He found it hard to move on especially seeing you every day. He of course still thought you were pretty as he had that night in the bar but his attraction to you exploded the second he saw you dance. You were an extremely skilled dancer, your body could perform any style effortlessly and you picked up choreo easily. You looked very good when you danced and Mingyu felt even more impressed and attracted to you. Then as he spent more time with you he realised you were also very funny and he loved your cool blunt personality. You were very honest and a lot of fun to be around...which made everything so much harder for Mingyu. He was the type of person who couldn't hide his feelings well. His emotions were displayed clearly on his face and so he couldn't help acting a little differently with you and his members began to say he was "whipped" for you.

Whenever you entered a room Mingyu sat up straighter or stood taller which considering his height was very noticeable but Mingyu would pretend he hadn't seen you. He tried to act very blasé, leaning back casually on whatever was behind him or striking a pose which the members found hilarious. They also noticed how his wardrobe seemed to have lost material and now his arms were regularly out and his abs whenever he fanned his face with his t-shirt which was every few minutes. He claimed it was just the weather but considering he stretched right in front of you they didn't believe him. Then whenever Mingyu spoke to you he also adopted this cool guy routine and basically fell over himself to agree with you and seem macho. One day you said you didn't eat meat much and could easily go without it. Mingyu agreed with you making all the members nearly explode. He was full of smiles whenever you talked to him but pretended afterwards that he didn't really care.

After one such occasion, Woozi decided to say something. "So should we address the elephant in room...or well giraffe?" he asked looking at Mingyu. Several members guessed what this was about and began laughing but Mingyu was clueless. "What?" he asked when several people stared at him and Jeonghan smiled at him "Y/n". Mingyu froze, worried they'd heard he asked you out. "What about her?" he said in an unconvincing attempt to be casual. "Oh come on!" Seungkwan said "it's so obvious you're into her". "No I'm not!" Mingyu tried but Scoups laughed "yes you are! You're a mess anytime she walks near you". "Not to mention the sucking up, you agree to anything she says!" The8 pointed out. Mingyu tried to keep up his argument but they just didn't believe him and stopped listening to him.

"You should ask her out" Jeonghan said and Wonwoo nodded "yeah you'd have a good shot". "No no no" Mingyu said and The8 began to ask why. "I think she already has a boyfriend" he said and Seungkwan shook his head "no she doesn't I asked her". "Oh...are you sure because I swear I saw her with a guy the other day...". "He's scared" Scoups said laughing and the others joined in. "No I'm not!” Mingyu said which only made the guys tease him more. “You totally are” Jun said and Mingyu sighed “she’s only been here 2 weeks, why would I pounce on her like that?”. “Pounce on who like that?” a voice asked and Mingyu’s life flashed before his eyes as he realised the dancers had re-entered the room…but luckily you still weren’t here yet. It was a group of 3 dancers who had been with the company for ages and that meant they knew exactly what was going on. “Is this about Mingyu drooling over Y/n?” one of them, a girl called Mina, asked and all 12 boys exploded in laughter. They had luckily calmed down when you did re-enter but Mingyu was still on edge. He found himself watching you to see if any of the dancers whispered anything to you and you noticed. You looked up, saw him watching you and smiled. Mingyu smiled back trying to act casual but could feel how pink his cheeks were and could hear the giggles across the room.

The teasing continued all week and Mingyu was worried it was becoming more noticeable. At dinner Seungkwan insisted you sit with them and positioned you right next to Mingyu with a huge smile on his face. One day your car was being fixed and when Dino found out he insisted you get a lift home with them and the guys made sure Mingyu and you ended up with a car all to yourself. Then whenever the two of you were talking in practice Mingyu would feel the guys' eyes on him and it would make him flustered and blush. It was building and building until one day it was undeniable.

Mingyu was stretching before dance practice and you came in and saw him. You smiled and put your water bottle down on a table. Mingyu realised the table was probably a way better place than the floor so he came over and put his down too. "Copying me again?" you asked and Mingyu smiled "I can't help it if you just have a way more logical brain than me okay?". You smiled "it's okay you can borrow my brain power anytime" and patted his arm. DK, Hoshi and Scoups entered while your hand was on Mingyu's arm and DK let out a loud screech before Scoups grabbed him. They dragged him to the other side of the room but were all grinning and started whispering as soon as there was some distance.

There was no hiding what had happened and you turned your back to them before steping closer to Mingyu. “Do they know?” you whispered and Mingyu blinked “about what happened with us? No of course not”. You paused “then what happened there? They've been giggly for a while, has something happened?”. Mingyu’s mind went to panic mode and he shook his head and as Mina entered he just took the first excuse that came to him. “No don’t worry it’s not you they’re laughing at it’s me, see I asked Mina out”. “Mina?” you asked looking to her across the room and Mingyu nodded “yeah and they’re teasing me senselessly about it”. “Ow that makes sense” and then after a pause you smiled “congratulations!”. “Thanks” Mingyu smiled and he answered your polite questions about where he was taking her, how he asked her out etc the best he could. When he got away his first thought was he’d been really smart and dodged a bullet…but then he realised you worked with Mina and could ask her about it anytime, exposing his lie. So panic mode came back.

Mingyu wasn’t sure how he survived dance practice. He spent the whole time trying to catch Min for a talk and tensing anytime the two of you were near each other. You spoke for a little bit in between moves and Mingyu was sweating so bad! Luckily you didn’t discuss him and Mingyu had time to grab Mina and explain his lie.

"So you told Y/n we're going out instead of telling her you like her?" Mina asked and Mingyu nodded "yes". "Okay" she said laughing at how unashamed Mingyu was of that "so when will you tell her?". "I have no idea!" Mingyu said and she laughed again. "So what's your plan? We just pretend to date from now on?". "Well not forever!" Mingyu said and Mina relaxed thinking he'd regained his sanity but she thought too soon. "Just for a few months and then we'll stage a breakup but we don't have to act too differently". Mina blinked "Mingyu that is crazy!". "No it's not, I promise it won't be too much work". "But what if the guys think we are dating?" she asked "The8 knows my actual girlfriend!". "Well Y/n has no reason to mention it to them, I think she'll keep it on the down low". Mina shook her head "Mingyu you need to tell her you can't create such an elaborate scheme like this! It could ruin your chances in the long run". Mingyu sighed "okay okay fine just give me a week?". "A week?" Mina asked and Mingyu nodded "please and I'll have worked something out by then". "You'll tell her?" Mina asked and Mingyu nodded "sure" but what he really meant was he'd find some other way out of it. Mina was placated though and nodded "fine you get to pretend to date me for one week and that's it!" making Mingyu smile "thanks Mina".

So Mingyu had dodged a huge bullet and luckily, you never mentioned he was "dating" Mina to the guys. You kept it to yourself and ignored the members behaviour figuring it wasn't towards you. Mingyu thought his luck was finally changing and then he got a huge curveball.

Mingyu had dodged you as a dancer partner for a while now despite you being the second tallest dancer but no more. The choreographer finally paired you two together and Mingyu's head snapped up when he heard your name. You came to stand beside him, making sure not to look at him at all to show this wasn't a big deal. Mingyu was noticeably awkward around you and hesitant. In the dance, he had to grab your arm and pull you towards him but he was acting all cautious and you worried the choreographer would point it out and then all the guys would see it. "It's okay you can pull me properly" you whispered to him discreetly and he nodded "okay" and did it better. Your worries were for nothing as the choreographer actually really liked your pairing and used you as an example for the others. "See how rigid Mingyu's back is and how Y/n doesn't even look at him? That's the energy we want. You two have the song down naturally". "Thank you" you said and Mingyu smiled pretending it was acting.

You were partners all week because the choreographer liked you together so much so by Friday Mingyu was ready to burst. Mina said this was a good thing because his time was up and Mingyu agreed and planned to tell you that they'd at least broken up on Monday when you showed up at his house.

Seungkwan was throwing a party for his birthday and Mingyu had no idea he'd befriended you quickly enough to invite you to his birthday party. Then again Seungkwan made friends wherever he went so Mingyu expected a big turnout for his 3rd youngest member's party. Mingyu rationalised it wouldn’t be the end of the world and figured he'd just have a fun night with his friends and avoid you but everywhere he seemed to go there you were! Dancing and looking amazing or laughing with his members. He was going to get a drink and stepped into the kitchen to see the fridge open. He walked up to the door and saw it was you, he was going to walk away when he figured that'd be awkward so he stayed. You however hadn't even seen him and jumped when you turned and saw him, spilling your drink all over yourself. "Jesus Chris!" you said and Mingyu grabbed a towel "omg Y/n I'm so sorry". "It's okay" you said dabbing yourself but your top was white and it showed the stain easily. "But your poor top" Mingyu said now realising was becoming see-through and shot his eyes away. You noticed too and panicked holding the tea tower up to it. "It's okay I'll just erm...wait for it to dry". "I can give you something if you want?" Mingyu asked "and then you can swap back at the end of the night".

You agreed so headed upstairs together passing several of his members which didn't help his blush. They didn't dare say anything in front of you but it was so easy to see what they were thinking. Finally, they were out of sight and you paused at the top of the stairs making Mingyu almost crash into you. "Why did you stop?" he asked and you looked at him "I don't know which one is your room". "Of course why would you?" Mingyu asked and slid past you to lead you into his room at the end of the hall.

"Okay so let me find something for you...I'll try and get something white so it's similar" and he rooted through his drawers. Mingyu brought out a few options for you and you went into his ensuite to change. All his tops were big on you and Mingyu tried not to react to how cute it was or how it made him feel to see you in his clothes. Finally, there was one crop top that worked and you looked really good in it. You tucked it into your jeans and looked so cool in it which Mingyu never did. "Does it look okay?" you asked and he agreed it did. "You look really nice" he said before going to spread your t-shirt out on the drying rack.

"You know I have to say your bathroom is the cleanest one I've ever seen" you said and he smiled "yeah I like things nice and tidy". "I noticed and that's a wonderful quality, very impressive". Now Mingyu was blushing "thank you...you're impressive too. You just seem to pick up choreo so quickly. I know being paired with you has made me a better dancer". "That's so sweet!" you smiled "thank you but you're a great performer anyway. I've seen you in past music videos and I'm nothing to do with it". "You've watched my old videos?" Mingyu asked and you paused before nodding. "When I got the job and started I looked into you all and you were on the first one I looked at". "Because of what happened?' Mingyu asked and you shrugged "that was part of it but not all of it. You're very different from what I expected and I guess I just wanted to see more of that. I was trying to work you out so to speak". "Ohh" Mingyu said unsure what else to say "and what did you find?".

You paused unsure why you were feeling so flustered. It probably had something to do with being in a dimly light room with an attractive guy while you were wearing a top that smelt like him. "I found you very confusing" you admitted "just guys like you aren't usually so kind to your members and aren't so good at cooking and stereotypically feminine things". Mingyu smiled "me being able to cook confused you?". "Yes! Young guys, in general, tend not to know how to cook but especially the good-looking ones!" you said before realising you'd called Mingyu good-looking. Surely it wouldn't be a big deal? He knew he was good looking right?

"Thank you" Mingyu said blushing "I often get misconceptions because of how I look". "Pretty people problems" you said sighing sarcastically and Mingyu laughed "oh come on like you don't know! You probably have people asking you out all the time, especially when they see you dance". Now it was your turn to blush "sometimes but not often no...". "Really?" Mingyu asked stunned "that's crazy! Who wouldn't want you? I mean some people have no taste!" before realising he'd gone a little overboard. You were both blushing and neither of you knew what to say. "Thanks for not holding what happened against me I guess" Mingyu said and you chuckled "Mingyu, a good-looking guy asking you out is in no way offensive. You were sweet and respectful and even if everyone knew you'd have nothing to be ashamed of. I was with my friends that's why I said no". Mingyu sat up straighter and his eyes shot to you "really? That was why you said no?". You nodded "yeah that was the main reason...I think if I'd started work the week before I might've said something different though".

Mingyu had goosebumps all over his arms and he was staring at you in disbelief. He couldn't believe what you'd just told him and was cursing his past self for his bad timing. "So if I'd had asked you out at a different time you might've said...". "Yeah I think I would've" you nodded and Mingyu thought his head was going to explode. You could've been his but now...well right now all he could think of was you. You may as well be the only person in the world at this moment and he was overwhelmed with how good you looked and how much he wanted you. Mingyu moved closer to you and laid a hand on your arm. "Mingyu" you whispered seeing his expression and he nodded "what?". "I..." you started when a loud bang on the landing made you both jump and shoot apart.

"Mingyu?" you heard Jeonghan call "are you up here? I need your help". Mingyu rushed to the door and they saw Hoshi on the floor clearly a little drunk. "Help me get him into bed will you?" Jeonghan asked Mingyu before spotting you behind him "if you're not busy...". "No of course not" you and Mingyu both rushed to say, blushing like crazy. "Okay..." Jeonghan said, very much aware he'd interrupted something but you both rushed away from one another and he had more important things to worry about, like a drunk Hoshi at his ankles.

You rushed downstairs and Mingyu busied himself with helping Hoshi. You felt all warm and flustered and had no idea what had just happened upstairs or what else might've happened had Jeonghan not interrupted. Mingyu came back downstairs a little while later and the two of you stayed on opposite sides of the room. Mingyu told himself he’d catch you to talk to but he kept putting it off and then the next thing he knew you’d gone!

This made him very worried because you still thought he was dating Mina so must’ve thought he was going to cheat on her with you. You must be so disappointed in him and weirdly that made Mingyu the most upset. He didn’t want you of all people thinking he was a bad person and so he had to find you! He texted Mina and she said she knew where you lived because she’d dropped you off the other day. She gave Mingyu your address and minutes later he was on his way to yours. Woozi drove him because he hadn’t drunk tonight and Mingyu had. He sat in the passenger seat anxious drumming his hands on his legs and finally after what felt like an eternity of driving for both Woozi and Mingyu, they arrived.

You'd gotten home a little earlier and has just gotten in your pyjamas after washing your face when the door went. You opened it to find a very panicked-looking Mingyu. "Hi" he smiled "can I come in?". You froze thinking back to the last time you were alone together "erm do you think that's a good idea?" you asked. Mingyu's smile fell "please, I really need to talk to you" and you couldn't resist those eyes so you opened your door and he followed you inside.

"So..."Mingyu started "are you okay? After what happened?" he started but that seemed to open the floodgates. "Of course I'm not okay!" you criied and Mingyu blinked "because of what happened at the house? When we..." and you nodded. "But we didn't" Mingyu said "plus it's okay" he said getting ready to explain but you heard those words and got triggered. "Mingyu it is not okay! I like you but just because our thing in the bar happened before you asked Mina out doesn’t mean we get precedence”. Mingyu nodded “Y/n I know” but you kept talking. “And what we almost did was so bad! I can’t think of why we got so close! My best friend was cheated on so I know how horrible it is but I almost did with you and that’s worrying, to think you have the effect on me”. “No Y/n I don’t” Mingyu said but again you carried on “but you do! I was going to kiss you just because I wanted to so badly” you said “but I had my shot with you and I’ve just got to realise that and back off”. “No you don’t!” Mingyu said “I don’t want you to back off or go anywhere!”. “Mingyu that’s sweet but…” you started but Mingyu knew better than to let you start ranting again. “Y/n I’m not with Mina!” he said suddenly making you jump. Mingyu realised and patted your arm “sorry for saying it so loudly but it’s true and that’s what I came here to tell you! We didn’t do anything wrong because I’m not with Mina”. “You’re not?” you asked “but you told me you asked her out”. “Yeah I said that because I didn’t want to tell you the guys were laughing about us! Or well me”. “Wait so they do know about us?” you asked and Mingyu shook his head “no they could just tell I had a crush on you and teased me about it constantly…they still do” he admitted “because they could all see I was super into you without even knowing what happened in the bar”. You blinked “wow…you must’ve been really obvious then huh?” and Mingyu chuckled. “Yeah I wasn’t too good at disguising how I felt and that’s why I panicked when you asked”. You nodded “but just to clarify, you’re not dating Mina?” you asked and Mingyu shook his head “no”. “Good” you smiled “because now I can do this without feeling guilty” and you shifted onto your tiptoes and leaned up to kiss him.

After you separated Mingyu was so dazed he missed what you said and had to ask you to repeat yourself. "I said...did you tell the guys you were dating Mina too?". "No just you" he said blushing and you nodded "ah okay so I don't have to claim my territory or anything around them?". Mingyu shook his head "no but I mean if you want to that's more than fine with me". You smiled "I'll see what I can do" and that was music to Mingyu's ears. "I've never been so excited for work before!" he cried and you laughed.

"You know, I wasn't sure if I was going to go to Seungkwan's party tonight but I'm really glad I did". Mingyu nodded "I'm glad you did too...but I'm sorry I made you leave early. How about we go out and celebrate or something?". You nodded "and I've got the perfect place how about where it all began but this time, my mind is only on you".

"It's a date" Mingyu smiled.

Loki season 1 moments that live in my head rent free ✨

I imagine that Loki, a fashion queen, really cares about their looks, and wouldn't let their outfits, conjured or not, carelessy touched like that. But they did conjure that outfit, right? So they must've really worked hard on it; Asgardian leather sounds precious, after all.

I literally quote this out loud a few times a week, it's part of my personality.

Casually stopping a building from falling using telekinesis!? We deserved to see more of his powers, like THAT'S just how powerful he is. Not just daggers (altough those are cool as well but...yk, not as efficient)

need I comment? We get to see a character that pretends to be bad at their core being told he can just go and be the opposite - which is true!! they just needed the right support for that.

Let's talk more fashion: who are your top ten fictional characters with the best style 🥰

Right off the bat I have to go with Carrie Bradshaw. She annoyed me to no end for most of the series (apart from that one episode where she went to a house party and someone stole her shoes and she insisted that the guests pay her back for them) but I'd be lying if I said that her outfits don't continue to be iconic and they are always going to be a huge chapter of costume design and fashion. Patricia Field really is THAT woman.

2. Rachel Green my forever girl has to be number 2. I love so many things about her style and how it evolves throughout the seasons. In the early days it was jeans, T-Shirts and overalls but in such a chic and 90's way and then as she starts working in fashion and growing more into a more grownup version of herself she has an amazing office wardrobe that I still take inspo from. I also love all her slip dresses.

3. Meave Maisel. I started watching The Marvelous Mrs Maisel mainly because of the clothes and the fact that it was written by Amy Sherman Palladino and I stayed for as long as I did for the clothes as well. I believe the plot got a bit tired and the creators got distracted by the fact that the budget kept getting bigger so therefore they thought the show should be getting flashier instead of more human and funny but you'll never catch me complaining about the costumes because, well look at them!

4. Lisa Fremont. LISTEN. The costumes in this movie (which is Rear Window, directed by Alfred Hitchcock) are my Roman Empire. Especially the black and white dress combined with Grace Kelly's incredible beauty makes it one of the most iconic fashion moments in cinema history and we should give Edith Head (the costume designer) her flowers.

5. Fran Fine. It took me a while to realize what an absolute fashion icon this woman is because I didn't watch The Nanny as a kid or teenager (I still haven't watched all of it and I plan on making it right eventually) but omg the absolute serve after serve after serve AFTER SERVE. Plus, that body is bodying. And a special mention to this particular outfit which is all of my dreams coming true:

6. Issa from Insecure

This show's entire costume department deserved all the Emmys, Oscars, Tonys, just everything but Issa's style was always my absolute favorite because it was so versatile and reflected on her character journey as well. Plus I loved the fact that even when she had a casual look on, there were still so many smart details about it. Argh I miss Insecure so much I need Issa Rae back on my screen immediately.

7. Daisy Jones. This character has had a tight grip on my heart ever since I read the book and I knew I'd love her when I watched the tv adaptation but I didn't expect to love her to the point I spent all of last spring trying to find pieces to recreate her entire cool girl hippy wardrobe. And also I just have to mention this "gold dust woman" moment because it was arguably the most iconic outfit of them all

8. Holly Golightly

I don't think I need to say too much about her to be honest do I? Audrey Hepburn is literally a work of art, in this movie and in general. My maybe somewhat unpopular opinion is that the pink outfit is my favorite one :')

Obviously, one of the PEAK LoVe moments on the show - I was SO MAD at Veronica for running away from this. This was Logan at his most vulnerable.

He's so damn witty and sharp, and some of his best lines are when he's sparring with Trina (see also: "I just can't get him off my back"/"Did you try standing up?").

I mean I've literally adapted this line so I think it's obvious why I love it. Veronica is the main character she ABSOLUTELY needs no man - but I love the moments when Logan steps in as the voice of reason or helps hold her together.

I’ve been getting into One Piece recently and the thought of getting isikaied into the show has been making its rounds in my head. Thinking of what I would do if allowed onboard has become my newest pastime so ima ramble about it.

Ofc I would do manual work and help out with the ship's cosmetics, maybe take on a little bit of everyone else’s work if they let me, but overall, what would be my role? Then I started thinking about how broken everyone is and I thought- what if I just played support?

Fr tho, if Zoro ever got the notion that he wants some hugs or platonic cuddles, I think it would be a struggle to come to terms with that.

I've had nostalgic memories when I rewatched movie 1. Particularly because it was the last entry I followed before I went on hiatus. ... 8 years ago I think?

Whereas I watched the second one during my marathon session this year.

Due to 'my messed-up order of watching' this series, I ended up knowing big spoilers about The movie 2 and I forced to give up my 'anti-spoiler' act before I watched it. Kinda of a bummer for the general view, but you know what? It made the scene more fascinating to watch!

"No wonder why Adudu is so into martial arts now."

"So that's how Ice got his bow eh?"

"Oh Fu-Yes! The debut of Fusion Elementals!!!!"

From a general technical standpoint, they stepped up their game drastically. Of course, it's for movies after all. They went bold for expanding the areas, improving the graphics, increasing action scenes, and also adding more music as well.

At the same time, they also upgrade Boboiboy and Kokotiam gang's power so it's making it a 'bit' op for the sake of spectacle. It's not that bad in a negative way, I understand that because the enemies themselves were hella strong as shit. (the first one used a black hole and the second one used all-in-one power hunger fest that could also destroy the galaxy. Logically the earth's supposed to be gone by now :/).

I loved what they did to the lighting and hue for both movies. it's like watching smash bros ultimate but in the movies(weird reference I know but hope you get the idea :/)

The details! Holy- IT'S SO PRETTY~~~

Both of them were also establishing the expansion power of elementals and what they can do about it. The first one was the fight with all elementals showcased and the second one was the alternative way of fighting by combining two elementals.

Alsoooo both finally managed to properly introduce the one and only .... Boboiboy Hatless! :D

I'd say they had a fair share of hiding it perfectly well. Cleverly teasing the audience to grasp 'Why the hell do they keep hiding his hair with that particular angle?' Because... If I'm not wrong, Boboiboy was one of the characters that falls in the same category with Upin&Ipin: limiting the haircut for animation efficiency during the first production.

So when his hat does let off, It is always an impeccable scene to watch. That trick never fails to amaze me. (like Professor Layton's hat case :3)

Now I wonder how much screen time his hat is off for the movie 3? I'm sure it takes a lot more than the previous one since his 3rd tier is pure hat off(and dyed hair).

If I want to say from my opinion. Movie 1 has its standout over Movie 2 and vice versa. Both have ups & downs yet they are equivalent to each other. For instance: the timing to add their theme song was a bit out of place in movie 1 so the latter fixed that, whereas the Fang and Ying banter in their language was lacking in movie 2 when the former had this iconic scene (sound on recommend) :]

I remember how hyped I was when one of my fav local band, D'masiv, created a credits song for Movie 1 AND Galaxy season 1. But heck all movie themes in order are wholesome af!!! 'Masih Disini' - 'Dibawah Langit yang Sama' - 'Fire & Water' are in my repeat playlist recently. So overwhelming that I actually cried? The montage during Fire & Water played was not a sad moment but heck I cried because it's soo touching for no reason.

Oh yeah, I forgot it's a family movie so they have rights to not make any deaths scene. I can understand why yet I'm still disappointed.

I cried. HARD when I saw Tok Kasa collapsed. It portrayed emphatically well and worked for new characters that was introduced a bit short.

Then, not long after that, we got this

So... There's my review. Honestly I don't know what goes on for movie 3. It could be anything after season 2. But if I may guess...

The Little Mermaid (2023) - Review

As a longtime fan of Chloe x Halle, I knew from the moment that Halle Bailey was cast as Ariel that she was the perfect choice. Of course the racists were (and still are) whining and throwing tantrums about Ariel being black, because they never believe any person of color can truly earn a role with sheer talent, but for a long time I was sure that even if this movie ended up being an absolute dumpster fire, Halle would be the saving grace of that dumpster fire. She would be the best part, hands down.

Well, I wasn't surprised to see that I was right. About her being the best part, at least, but I don't think the movie itself is a dumpster fire at all. I actually really enjoyed it, and I've been very cynical of the Disney live action remakes for a long time like most people are. I had no confidence in this film but I had the utmost confidence in Halle to shine no matter what. However, there were things about this movie that pleasantly surprised me. Some disappointments though, I'll admit.

This is gonna be a long review, as my reviews always are. Spoilers ahead. I'd recommend you read this if you've seen the movie, but if you haven't and don't care about spoilers, read on.

So for starters, I was never really a Little Mermaid stan. Of course I loved the movie as a kid because I was obsessed with mermaids in general, and the songs were undisputed classics, but I wasn't exactly a fan of the movie as I grew older. I don't dislike it, it's just... fine. It's very of its time. So because of that, I knew they were going to update and expand certain things in the remake. For better or worse.

I've already stated how much I thought Halle nailed this film. Maybe you could say that I'm biased since I was already a fan of hers anyway, but hey, this is just my honest opinion. She captured Ariel's essence so beautifully; her innocence and naivete, her curiosity and inquisitiveness, her yearning and wonder. And while yes, the CGI during the underwater scenes could be a little janky some of the time, I was mostly mesmerized by the way she moved, the way her hair moved and the iridescence of her tail. She just looked so gorgeous and adorable and got Ariel down to a science.

As for when she gets legs and goes to the surface, that's where she shines even more, because she has to act without saying a word. It was all in her expressions and mannerisms and I thought she absolutely delivered. I haven't mentioned the new songs they added yet, but they did add a new Ariel song for when she goes to the surface called "For the First Time" and I have to say that it's my favorite new addition. It's soooo delightfully musical theater and I think it has the most Little Mermaid-esque vibe to it. It fit the movie perfectly.

Back to the actors, I also thought Melissa McCarthy was the biggest surprise. I had zero confidence that she would do the role justice, but I thought she actually did a great job. She was definitely channeling Pat Carroll and some of her lines elicited chuckles out of me. And I thought her rendition of Poor Unfortunate Souls was pretty good, even though it's unfortunately missing the iconic "body language" lyric. She's not a strong vocalist but I think she did the best she could, and she was one of the highlights. Also she did the Ursula Shoulder Shimmy which I appreciated.

Jonah Hauer King as Prince Eric also did a good job I think. The remake added much-needed depth and character to Eric that was missing in the original. Another thing I appreciated was how they tried to show more parallels between Eric and Ariel. There's a scene in the movie where Ariel finds Eric's library/study, and it's shot in a way that makes it reminiscent to Ariel's grotto. They tried to give the two more things in common, and I think they succeeded in that. Plus the chemistry between Jonah and Halle was just off the charts. I rarely find straight couples adorable, but I thought they were so adorable any time they were sharing a scene.

My one minor gripe with his casting is that he's not exactly the strongest vocalist. One of the new musical numbers is an Eric song called Wild Uncharted Waters, and.... I didn't really like it. His voice kind of sounded like the lead singer of an angsty rock band from the 2000s. As soon as it started it gave me war flashbacks to Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast, where they had to use very noticeable autotune on her voice. Granted that was much, MUCH worse, but still. I don't wanna be reminded of that travesty. The song itself is okay I think, but it could be much better if they had a stronger vocalist or a Broadway darling to play the role, to really do the song justice. But like I said, this is just a minor gripe because Eric really only gets one song, and Jonah overall did a good job.

A change that I really appreciated was, instead of Ariel getting invited to dinner at the castle, she and Eric go to a market instead. The kingdom in the remake is inspired by the Caribbean and I loved the tropical, colorful vibe of the locale. The market visit allowed Ariel to wander around and marvel at everything she doesn't understand, and it's a much cuter, more laid back way for her and Eric to spend time together. Some people were upset about the crazy chef who tries to kill Sebastian being removed, but honestly, I never thought that sequence added anything to the original. I loved what they did here.

Daveed Diggs as Sebastian... Sigh. Look, I love Daveed but I feel like he was so miscast for this. Anytime he spoke or sang, you could tell the Jamaican accent was very put on. Sure, the original actor who voiced Sebastian--Samuel E. Wright, RIP--also was putting on a Jamaican accent, but somehow it just felt more natural when he did it. His voice work as Sebastian was so iconic, and Daveed just missed the mark on this role. It just wasn't the right role for him. His version of Under the Sea was also quite underwhelming, and he did a lot of talk-singing during it. I liked the Under the Sea sequence visually, but not quite sonically.

As for Kiss the Girl, people were making such an uproar about the lyric changes but the changes were so minor. They literally only changed like, a couple of lines, and the song is still the same thematically. It's still just the animal sidekicks trying to influence Eric to kiss the girl in kiiind of a date-r*pey-ish way. They wanted to make it seem more consensual, but nothing's really changed. But yeah, I do think the original version of the song is still better regardless. Similar issue I felt about Under the Sea, it just... doesn't quite hit the mark.

Awkwafina as Scuttle was... alright. She had some funny moments, but I mean, she's just doing her regular voice. It's literally just Awkwafina as a bird. But what I really hated was.. Scuttlebutt.

Oh god, Scuttlebutt. I honestly have no idea what Lin Manuel Miranda was thinking when he wrote this? I don't know if he was smoking something really strong, cause like... Mama, this is garbage. Like, I can't even explain to you how painful to hear this song was. It's absolutely the worst and most unnecessary addition to the soundtrack. Nobody wants to hear Awkwafina, the queen of putting on blaccents, rapping. That's the last thing any of us wanna hear. It was just. So. Horrible. I've seen the movie twice in theaters now and each time I was just begging for that song to be over.

Anyway, that's the most negative thing I can say about this movie, was that damn song. Lin deserved jailtime for that one.

For the more minor characters, Javier Bardem as Triton was okay. Some people think he was horrible but I don't think he was that bad, it was fine. I still would've preferred Idris Elba as Triton but that's just my personal fancast.

Flounder was... Flounder. Yeah, I don't like his hyper-realistic design, but he was still pretty cute and 12-year-old Jacob Tremblay was just trying his best to emulate the original actor and I think he did a fine job.

Ariel's sisters were barely in it, like in the original. They did give them each unique, cute designs, but we all know that it's just to sell dolls. They appear in the beginning of the movie in a pretty awkward scene that's supposed to replace the concert from the original film. Apparently Triton and his daughters meet every time there's something called the Coral Moon? It seems to just be a family meeting of some sort. They left it so vague, they didn't even bother to explain what the Coral Moon was. I wish they had just kept the concert.

But yeah, the sisters are all named and apparently I heard each of them are supposed to have special powers? Well those powers weren't showcased in the movie at all, so we know it was just a marketing tactic. I'm sure there'll be tons of fanfics of all the sisters having adventures and whatnot. They might even make an animated series. It'd be called Ariel and Her Sisters, or Daughters of Triton.

I do think the dolls are very slay though. I'd buy the whole 7 pack.

Oh my god, I forgot to talk about Vanessa. Girl... Jessica Alexander bodied this role. Even though she was only in it for a handful of minutes, she ate up every bit of those minutes. I also really liked Vanessa's Trick from the soundtrack and thought it sounded beautiful. Do I wish it still had lyrics instead of "la-di-da's"? Sure I guess, but I honestly don't mind all that much. It's very haunting and Halle's voice is ethereal on it.

I think that's all I have to say on the movie. It's a fun time and it's bolstered by some stellar performances (particularly from Halle) and welcome changes/additions. But it's also kinda bogged down by not-always-great CGI, some clunky musical choices, and certain things cut from the original film that I thought shouldn't have been cut.

Still, I very much enjoyed this movie more than any of the other Disney remakes so far. I do agree with people's sentiments of it being the best of the bunch, but well... the bar isn't exactly high in that regard. Maybe because the previous remakes were so bad, this one just is the best because it's the only one that doesn't suck.

Whatever the case, I had enough of a great time that I went and saw it twice. I recommend you see it too before it leaves theaters.

Thornfield Hall, Manderlay, and Louis de Pyromaniac du Lac

I wanna talk about Louis' depression, Anne Rice's grief, and the element of fire in a few iconic Gothic romances/horror stories. (Trigger warning for suicide.)

Bar none, my favorite thing about Louis is his obsession with fire, and how it's linked to his abuse, mental instability, and trauma.

It's so neat how AMC's Louis chainsmokes when he's stressed, and has a hilarious attachment to the incinerator.

His fire obsession's a whole meme at this point, & everyone's excited for Louis going ham with fire in Season 2. I can't wait to see how AMC handles his most iconic book/film moment(s).

But I was rereading Jane Eyre, and thought alot about Bertha Mason (Mr Rochester's archetypal crazy wife in the attic), and Mrs. Danvers from Rebecca (which was inspired by Jane Eyre). And they got me thinking about fire and suicide in the Vampire Chronicles, so walk with me a bit.

Louis is called the most "human" of the vampires, because of how weak he was, compared to other vampires his age (and even younger). His rat/animal blood diet was tantamount to an eating disorder that heavily stilted his growth as an immortal, and for the majority of his life he lacked many of the Gifts vampirism afforded his peers (Mind Gift, Spell Gift, Killing Gift, etc).

However, shockingly enough, AMC decided to give Louis one of their most potent powers: The Fire Gift (pyrokinesis).

In the books it was explained that vampire blood is flakey & highly flammable, and only the oldest and/or strongest of vampires could withstand fire without serious injury or death--let alone use the Fire Gift to any significant degree--hence: BAMF Akasha using it as her signature attack in QotD. 👑

This seriously begs the question about where this show sits in the canon timeline, because book readers know that Louis only gains the Fire Gift, Cloud Gift, Mind Gift, etc etc after the events of Merrick, when Louis tries to commit suicide, and to heal Louis' burns, Lestat gives him a huge infusion of his powerful blood (having fed at length from Akasha in QoTD, and also God/Jesus in Memnoch.)

Lestat's super!blood healed Louis' burns and saved his life, but it also drastically & permanently changed Louis' body, making him more vampiric than he'd ever been, seriously augmenting his powers. This was something Louis had adamantly been trying to avoid--every time the Children of the Millennia/Coven of the Articulate met up, they all offered Louis infusions of their ancient blood, trying to help him power up, and every time Louis refused them all.

Louis retaining his humanity was so important to him, not only because of the Catholic Guilt he felt being a blood-drinking killer, but also because being physically weak allowed him one ultimate ace up his sleeve: if he ever got the courage to end his life, he could always rely on going into the sunlight, and burning to death.

So, while AMC's dust particle effect is very cool, I'd rather see vampires on FIRE--even though the ashes to ashes visuals are rather apropos.

Regardless, I was also thinking about all the other people & places Louis set on fire; and how it all ties in with the Gothic literature Anne Rice was CLEARLY inspired by--namely: Jane Eyre & Rebecca.

Cuz we know Anne Rice wrote Louis and his grief over losing Claudia as a self insert, as a way for her to try handling her own grief over losing her daughter. But she started hating writing as Louis, and being stuck in that depressive mindset, so AR switched to writing from Lestat's POV instead, as a more fun and carefree character for a few books--until Lestat had a crisis of faith in Memnoch and goes into a coma. We then get Armand's book, where in TVL Armand tries to commit suicide by walking into the sun after Lestat gets Veronica's Veil from Memnoch (i.e.: proof that God exists, from the Devil). Immediately after this is Merrick, where Louis enters another depressive episode, as he waits vigil for YEARS beside Lestat, who lies on the floor of a cathedral in a coma. As Louis mourns, he finds Claudia's diaries, which reveal just how much she hated & resented him, and he starts being haunted by Claudia's ghost. By the end of Merrick, Claudia's ghost has convinced Louis that he's worthless, and he agrees.

Suicidal ideation is HEAVY in both Jane Eyre and Rebecca. Mrs. de Winter is almost talked into jumping from the window by the housemaid Mrs Danvers, who hates that the widowed Maxim de Winter remarried (forgetting his first wife Rebecca), and gave Manderlay to the new wife--a girl half his age with no clue how to be a "proper" lady of the estate.

In Jane Eyre, Bertha Mason is literally insane, and was locked up in Thornfield's attic, until she escaped and set the place on fire, then jumped off the roof to her death. In the 2006 BBC version, Bertha sees an owl (a nocturnal bird) fly off the roof, so she follows it; like a free bird taking flight.

Who else does this in IWTV? PAUL with his birds. (Not to mention the PTSD from Louis' drop in Ep5, which would've definitely killed a normal person.)

For years, I thought Claudia's ghost was just an apparition: either one of the demons Lestat unleashed while fleeing Hell in Memnoch, or more likely as a manifestation of Louis' guilty conscience, as his mental state got increasingly worse as he read her journals; on top of him being scared Lestat was dying. But then Blackwood Farm introduced Goblin, and all the later books had prominent vampire ghosts that proved that vampires (and aliens, lol) have immortal souls that can linger. So the ghost was legit, and so was Claudia's deep-rooted hatred for Louis.

I've already said how I think IWTV is a story about (failed) marriages and parenthood dynamics, the power imbalances that ensue, and the resentments that fester. But so are Jane Eyre & Rebecca. At the heart of ALL of them are mental illness & houses on fire. Bertha Mason was violently insane, but she was sane enough to realize that Mr Rochester was tryna marry another woman right under her nose, when it was HER dowry money that bankrolled Thornfield, as his first wife. So in the 2006 version Bertha lights Jane's wedding dress on fire, taking the whole mansion down with her. (In the book she just tears up the dress & veil, then starts the fire.)

In Rebecca, it was Maxim's first wife Rebecca who was cheating, but the (nameless) second wife lived under her shadow & the ghost of her memory--embodied by Mrs. Danvers, who hated her guts, and fed into her deep insecurities over being married to a widower who hadn't gotten over his first wife Rebecca (*cough* little did they know though~! XD). After failing to talk the girl into killing herself, Mrs Danvers had a psychotic break, and set Manderlay on fire, dying in the blaze (joining her beloved Rebecca).

Taking the Gothic horror & suspense out--or, hell, INCREASING it--one could easily spin this so that JANE was the one who started the fire when she learned about Bertha in the attic and ran away from Thornfield (in some adaptations the fire happens the same night she leaves). One could also say that MRS DE WINTER burned down Manderlay after cracking under the pressure of becoming a married lady. Both of these second wives were driven crazy by ghosts of the past, and burned down the mansions that had become their tombs.

Cuz I mean...Louis is Lestat's second wife/husband, after Nicky killed himself in a fire. 👀 And Louis and Claudia literally watched as they burned Lestat's sidechick/third wife Antoinette alive, so.... 🔥

TL;DR: I think Anne Rice must've been struggling with a lot of suicidal thoughts around the time she wrote The Vampire Armand (book 6) and Merrick (book 7), to have both its characters do the same thing, one right after the other. Vampires and their vulnerability to fire/sunlight were just metaphors for very real personal issues. After writing IWTV, she walked away from Louis, burying her depression by writing more books as the sunny Lestat, who suntans for fun and is immune to fire by the end of QoTD. But in the back of her mind, AR might've felt guilty forgetting about her grief (Louis forgetting about Claudia--willfully forgetting about Bertha, Rebecca, etc....). So the ghost of this guilt came back with a vengeance in Merrick, as Claudia unleashed all her vitriol on Louis, and he hated himself to the point that he was convinced to light himself on fire--the sole reliable escape from misery he had left.

After listening to the album on repeat for months too long, I've come to the conclusion that "Midnights" was written for Asami. It feels like each song was written just for her, with the different songs reflecting different aspects and times in her life.

(Keep in mind this is 100% my own headcanons and opinions of Asami and her experiences with like a smidge of projection probably.)

Lavender Haze

This one is an Irosami track, as are so many on this album. Asami's reputation took some damage after the scandal with her father. Dating a general of the United Forces and heir of the Fire Nation throne with a reputation like hers would definitely cause ripples. But Iroh wouldn't care about that or what anyone else had to say.

Memorable lines:

I've been under scrutiny (yeah oh yeah)

You handle it beautifully (yeah oh yeah)

No deal, the 1950s shit they want from me.

Maroon

This one feels like a Masami track to me. The beginning, the middle, and the end — the vibes fit with them so well. Their relationship was doomed from the start, but they had it in the first half, until it all fell apart.

God, how is this not an Asami song? Every lyric seems perfectly crafted for her (from the iconic “it’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me” to “sometimes it feels like everybody is a sexy baby, and I’m the monster on the hill”) it is one of two songs I consider her ultimate anthems (between this and “The Man” from Lover). Her friends treat her like garbage for the better half of 3 seasons, everyone is doubting her, but she’s carrying on through all the trauma and turmoil.

Memorable lines:

Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby

And I'm a monster on the hill

Too big to hang out, slowly lurching toward your favorite city

Pierced through the heart, but never killed

Snow on the Beach

This one is another Irosami track. Asami has a low self esteem because of course she does so she can’t fathom how General Iroh might want to be with her and he feels the same but that’s a different story. So this song perfectly captures those early butterbees in the stomach feeling.

Weird but fuckin' beautiful

Flying in a dream, stars by the pocketful

You wanting me tonight feels impossible

You’re On Your Own, Kid

This one should be pretty self explanatory. Asami comes from a cutthroat, upper crust world where every move she makes is open to criticism; this is made worse when her father is imprisoned and she has to take over the company at just eighteen. Part of what makes this song an Asami song as well is the undertone of yearning — in her case, for her father back, and for a simpler, easier time.

Okay, this one is definitely leaning more towards my own headcannons, but bear with me.

Prior to the events of canon, Asami was seeing a boy her father approved of — he came from old money, a respectable family, being groomed to take over his father’s company, and was prepared to care for Asami. But she never wanted to be just a housewife, and he didn’t like her “dangerous” hobbies, like racing and mechanic work. So, shortly after he proposed, Asami broke up with him — much to their families’ dismay. This song is about that boy.

Labyrinth is both a post-Masami breakup song and an Irosami song. The breakup was devastating for her, since she really did care for Mako. This song comes in during the honeymoon stage of Irosami, where they’re both scared because they’re falling for each other.

19 years ago today (September 23 2003) One Tree Hill premiered on the WB.

To celebrate I thought I'd post yet another opinion thread about my favorite show of all time.

Nathan Scott is quite possibly the best teen drama boy/man to ever exist. He had his flaws, but was ultimately the best husband, father, brother, and son anyone could ask for. Despite having a rough childhood, he managed to overcome and stop the toxic cycle of neglect/abuse. He made his children's lives something he had wished for himself. It takes a strong person to do that. Forever will love this man.

Lucas Scott aggravates me to no end.

3x20 is TV excellence. That no look shot is iconic and nothing will ever top that moment in TV.

Nobody does music like OTH. All those performances? Amazing.

Nathan and Haley >>>>> every other couple on the show. Idc what anyone says they were the #1 ship to come out of OTH. They went through hard times, but came out stronger in the end. I don't think there's any other TV couple with this much of a hold on me. And I've watched a lot of TV shows lol. They make me feel so comfy and warm inside. They're safe and overall written so damn well.

Going with what I said above, James and Joy's chemistry is what made Naley work tbh. They had such insane chemistry and it's mind boggling that they never even had a chemistry read when auditioning. OTH writers struck gold with them.

Dan is one of the best villains in TV show history.

Grandpa Dan....an angel lmao

It legit infuriates me that CMM was looked at as the heartthrob of the show when James Lafferty was right there. That man was and is still gorgeous. And if I'm being honest, his acting felt more natural to me than CMM. But that's a conversation for another day lol

We should've got more Skills than Mouth

Brooke's best seasons were the adult seasons tbh. Yes, she had iconic moments in the high school years, but her actual development doesn't really hit until the adult years imo

I'm convinced they only did the Nathan/Brooke sextape because they wanted the audience to sympathize with Peyton. Also Nathan and Brooke are quite possibly the most liked characters, the writers probably thought why not try destroying their development 🙄🙄

I loved Jamie 🤷🏻‍♀️ it seems like so many people find him annoying but I loved him lol I can understand why he might be annoying to some, but I really enjoyed him and thought he was a great addition to the show. He had great chemistry with all the core characters

6x03 is the saddest episode in TV history and if you don't cry watching it, you're not human

Nathan's NBA story arc is amazing storytelling. I loved every minute of it and believe it's one of, if not, the best story arc to come out of the show

Peyton was so much more likeable when she wasn't with Lucas. I honestly enjoyed her and Lucas being friends way more than when they got together

I didn't mind Lucas and Lindsay

Season 9 was so chaotic, but I loved it

I loved how Julian went from this hot mysterious producer to an absolute dork that loved chasing butterflies. Best development lol

This cast deserved an award for 3x16. The acting was on point. The storyline was on point. One of the most well done sch*ol sh*oting episodes I've seen a TV show pull off. It's a shame they barely got any credit for it

Never got the appeal to Karen/Keith. I honestly shipped Deb/Keith more lol

Nathan's depression storyline deserved better. The writers dropped the ball on a lot of mental health storylines, but this one in particular upsets me. First it was the race car incident in season 2. He should've gone to therapy. Then it was season 5 and his back injury. It felt as though he was being told get over it and "man up" when that sends a pretty toxic message. The scene with Peyton and him in the hospital pissed me off. As if seeing a child with cancer is supposed to make him feel better. I get what they were trying to get across, but it could've been done differently. Also Haley throwing dishes/bottles???? Why? Great acting moment from Joy, but unnecessary for Haley's character. I also applaud James for his acting throughout this storyline. Just wish it was written better.

Continuing with the above statement, Haley's depression storyline was done much better. It was a bit rushed, but it wasn't as frustrating to watch.

I always preferred Brooke and Haley's friendship to Brooke and Peyton's

Brooke and Nathan's friendship deserved more screen time. That scene when Nathan goes to check on her before Quentin's funeral will forever break me

Nathan getting harassed in the shower doesn't get talked about enough. Absolutely foul.

Although I loved Brooke getting her happy ending, I kinda wish they settled with her adopting instead of miraculously being able to have kids. Her adopting would've been more relatable.

Rachel deserved better

Quinn deserved better writing. I feel like she was treated more like eye candy than anything. Justice for Shantel VanSanten

The taller man, simply put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him."Oh god.", she cleared her throat: "This is going to be harder than I thought. I was thinking about what to say, I even made an effort to write it down but I couldn't. All I can really say is, that I had the best time with you guys over the last decade. I love you all so much, it is suffocating and it nearly made me decide to not leave. But I have to, no matter how often Chris wears a wig around me- I mean at some point I need some real female friends in my life, right?"

At that Johnny threw his head back to let out deep laughter, the other guys joining in as well.

"You're okay?", a voice asked and Steveo who leaned against the doorframe turned his head. Chris, who made his way towards him leaned his shoulder against the wall to face him. "In moments like this one, I wish I could drink some booze." Chris chuckled and looked over at Y/N. A heavy silence fell over the two guys.

"I am going to miss her, Chris."

They both knew it was too late for any form of real confession. Y/N was leaving and telling her how he felt about her, Steveo knew that it would simply be unfair to her. He missed his moment. And it was breaking his heart.

"What the fuck?", Y/N grunts at the sound of her doorbell going off. It is still pitch black outside so she unhurriedly reaches for the baseball bat that lays underneath her bed. Silently she makes her way toward the front door. She passes the kitchen and catches a glimpse of the small digit clock above the stove. Who is coming around at 3:40 in the morning?! She peeks through the tiny hole in the door and wrinkles her forehead when she recognizes the man.

"What are you doing here at 3:40?", Y/N asks as she opens the front-door. Steve whose jacket is sticky from the rain smiles at her apologetically and Y/N can see the uneasiness in his eyes: "Are you okay?" "I really need to talk to you."

"Hey, there you are.", Y/N let out as she stepped outside. Steveo was sitting on the steps of the bar, smoking a cigarette. A soft but somewhat sad smile emerged on his lips as he moved a bit to the left to let her sit down next to him. "I was looking all over for you, Dave told me you might be out here. Why aren't you inside with the other’s?"

"I got a headache.", he lied and took another thick breath. Y/N nodded and crossed her arms in front of her chest to keep her warm. For a few moments, they sat in silence until the young woman cleared her throat.

"I am going to miss you.", she whispered, quietly and let out a shaky chuckle:"Like a lot, actually." Steveo didn't react. He just took another deep breath before he answered: "Do you know, that this is the same bar where you first took care of me after I received a beating from some random guy. I had a small cut over my lip and you sat down next to me on the ground while I saw things doubled."

Y/N didn't look at him. Instead, she just began to cry. Tears rolled down her cheeks and fragile sobs fled her lips. Steveo simply put his arm around her shoulder to pull her closer. He shushed her a few times, but when it didn't help he only sighed. For a moment they simply sat there, next to each other, on those dirty steps. From inside he heard the loud music and Knoxville's iconic laughter. He didn't have to say anything when she looked up at him after a few minutes. Through teary and slightly swollen eyes she was able to see the look on his face. He didn't have to say it, he really didn't, she was able to see the 'yeah I know' written all over it.

George mentioned, and Sapnap glared at George's discord icon that would appear every time his mic would pick up a sound. "This game is rigged." He accused, and Dream finally spoke up, "Stop being a pussy and go get a tattoo." He said, and Sapnap just groaned at the thought.

Sapnap instantly regretted coming up with the bet. Sapnap thought it was a good idea to play tattoo roulette on Minecraft. Bad had four chests, and one of them had red wool inside, the others had green. If you chose the one with red in it, you had to get a tattoo. Sapnap, so happened to choose the one with red wool in it. "I swear this was rigged." He said again, and Bad finally spoke up, "I put the wool in before you guys joined, it was a 50/50 chance no matter what." He said, and Sapnap refused to believe it. "No way in hell am I getting a damn tattoo." He said shaking his head, and George scoffed, "You lost, you are being a baby right now." He said, and Sapnap mentally cursed him out.

After thinking to himself all night, he decided he'd get a small quick and easy tattoo. Waking up the next morning, he almost talked himself out of it, but it was too late as he was now parked in front of a tattoo parlor. Looking at the building in front of him, he shot his friends a text in the 'Feral Boys' group chat. He let them know he arrived and was now waiting, for someone to get him. Hearing his online name being called, he looked up from his phone and saw someone motioning for him to go to a secluded room. Slowly getting up from his chair, he walked into the room and gave the tattoo artist a hesitant smile, "This your first time?" They asked, and Sapnap nodded his head.

"Was it that obvious?" He asked, and the tattoo artist laughed, "From how pale you got when I called your name, and how badly you are sweating it was a dead give away." They said, and Sapnap looked away from them embarrassed. "No need to be embarrassed, I've had clients that actually threw up once I called their name." They explained, trying to make him more comfortable. "Sit there please." They pointed to a chair, and he sat down finally looking at the person. Observing them, he furrowed his eyebrows, "You don't have any tattoos?" He asked, and they looked up from what they were doing and nodded their head.

"I have none, that is correct. I know it's odd for a tattoo artist to basically be a empty canvas, but I never really had time to get one." They explained, and Sapnap slowly nodded, "Do you know where you're getting it?" They asked, and Sapnap nodded his head, holding out his ring finger. "That's an oddly peculiar place." They admitted, and Sapnap chuckled, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "Yeah.." He said, and looked away once he saw the needle, "Do you know what you are getting?" They asked, and Sapnap froze at the question, "I really didn't think it that far through.." He admitted, and the tattoo artist smiled, "That's alright, do you mind if I surprise you? I know this is a permanent thing, but trust me I'd never give you anything bad." They said, and Sapnap thought for a moment before he nodded.

"Sure, go for it." He said, and they grinned, "Since you're letting me, I suppose I could get the same tattoo so we can both have the same one." They said and Sapnap smiled at the generous gesture. "Okay." He said, and the tattoo artist shot him a smile, "I'm Y/N by the way." They said, finally introducing themself, and Sapnap smiled at the name. "If you need to hold onto something while I do this, there is a stress ball there, a bar to hold there, and my thigh is always an option." Y/N said, sitting down in front of Sapnap, and he looked around thinking of what to use. "I think I will be alright." He said, and Y/N shrugged, and grabbed the outline marker, outlining the design they had in mind.

Sapnap looked at the design curiously before he realized it was a snake on fire. "That looks so cool." He said, looking down at it in amazement. Y/N chuckled at him, and grabbed the inking needle, turning it on. "Remember your options if it starts to hurt." They reminded him, and he nodded looking away once they started tracing over the outline. Wincing at the pain, he quickly reached forward gripping Y/N's thigh tightly, slightly catching Y/N off guard. They were used to people holding their thigh, but never did they feel electricity. After what felt like an eternity for Sapnap, but in reality was only 20 minutes, it was finally done. Wrapping it, Y/N explained the basic procedures on cleaning it, and keeping it wrapped for a bit.

"You can go now, or you can stay while I do mine." Y/N said, and Sapnap just stayed put as they were giving themself the same tattoo, just on the opposite hand. He couldn't believe he got matching tattoo's with a complete stranger, but he knew this would lead to a fun friendship. After another 20 minutes, Y/N's finger was wrapped with the help of Sapnap. "Well, it was nice meeting you. Make sure to take care of it." They said, and Sapnap smiled, nodding his head. "I couldn't help but notice your accent. You aren't from here, are you?" He asked, and Y/N looked up shaking their head, "Born and raised in Cancun." They admitted, and Sapnap smiled, "I'm from Texas if that means anything." He said, and Y/N smiled more, "Looks like we match tattoos and the fact we aren't from Florida." They said, and Sapnap smiled. "Here if you need to contact me, for you know.. your tattoo here is my number." They said writing down their number from their notebook, and handing him the paper.

Walking back inside his shared house with Dream, he saw Clay sitting on the couch, "Hey what did you end up getting?" Clay asked, and Sapnap showed him his finger, "That looks sick!" He said, and Sapnap smirked, "You think? Well the tattoo artist and I now have matching tattoos." He said, and Dream looked at Sapnap like he had two heads. "Are you living some kind of movie life?" He asked, and Sapnap laughed shaking his head, "I also got their number." He said, walking away to his room, while Dream stood their dumbfounded at the fact that his best friend could have found a possible relationship from a dumb game.

Y/F and Y/M Robins were far from perfect parents. Y/F had the mental age of a toddler at times, and being an estate agent who always has to go the extra mile- he often wasn't home when his wife needed him the most. Y/M, on the other end of things, had been a stay at home mum until Y/N turned 16 last summer, and now she helped with all the administrative work for Mayor McCoy. She was a maternal creature which, coupled with her brilliant sarcasm, made for some explosive conversations. The two met on the first day of university and got married a week after the last.

When Y/M first found out she was pregnant with little Y/S Robins, the two realised they wanted a quiet bubble of a town to raise their children and grow up with them. But it wasn't until their second daughter was about to turn seven until they found their forever home in the quaint town of Riverdale. Ten years passing before their eyes, and the picturesque place didn't seen all that anymore.

Jason Blossom's death had nothing to do with the short gunshot sounding over the waves of Sweetwater River, the noise which woke Y/N from her sweet unmemorable dreams every few nights. The summer days rolled into early August without anyone caring, Y/N spending most of them at Cheryl's side listening intently to her past adventures with her brother. Betty threw herself into an internship at a publication house; Flick and Cherry had volunteered at a summer camp, and Archie was helping his dad out more and more with constructions job.

Although it hadn't been the start to the relationship Y/N had hoped for- the nervous giggles and hand holding, short and sweet kisses on late night walks followed by poetry worthy cuddling. There was a magnificent silver lining as Archie's muscles gained definition, and he suited the sweaty builder look far too well.

"Earth to my gorgeous queen? Y/N/N?" Cheryl quizzed her friend, who currently resided at the poolside of Thornehill Manor. Her mind was off on a glorious tangent about her rendezvous in the kitchen at two in the morning. Fixing herself a glass of water, when Archie slips his hand into her pyjama shorts, his other around her mouth muffling her needy moans.

The red headed beauty shoved her y/h/c friend playfully, warm skin sweaty under her pale touch. Y/N blinked innocently and sent her an apologetic smile, "What?"

"I asked if you've thought about dating anyone else since Clayton?" The fiery ginger girl enquired with her usual upbeat tone.

Cheryl knew she had a unique quality about her which made it almost impossible for Y/N to lie to her face. The y/h/c girl scrunched up her nose, hiding the smile the idea of Archie Andrews brought to her face. 'Yes. We started off as fuck buddies but never actually fucked. Then I drunkenly asked him to be my boyfriend, now a month later I think we may genuinely work out.'

"Maybe." Y/N bit her bottom lip, listening to her friend's squeal as she squeezed her sun tanned arm.

"I knew it! You have this euphoric glow you only get when someone else makes you climax." The redhead affirmed confidently, watching the Robins girl's eyes bug out before hitting her arm, "Y/N/N, you know your secret's safe with me."

"Fine." She sighed and took a sip of her fruity cocktail, "It started off as just fooling around, honestly I just needed to let off some steam after everything. I knew he was into the kinds of things I was, I mean he used to tease me about it non stop. And it was good, so good I stopped being a pussy and asked him to be my boyfriend."

"Holy freaking hell!" The Blossom girl grinned with excitement, "Dare I ask, who is it?"

Y/N deadpanned at her friend, "Guess."

"Please don't tell me it's that muscular oaf Reggie, he's pretty but there's not exactly much going on upstairs." Cheryl tapped her temples and rolled her eyes at the thought.

"Nope."

The ginger thought for a moment, consulting her liquid courage and splashing her feet around the waters edge, "It's Archie."

All it took was a side-eyed glance at the y/h/c girl's blooming rosy cheeks to know she definitely wasn't wrong. Y/N severely lacked the ability to lie, even if her tone held conviction, her features were far too expressive and told the truth all on their own. It's not like they were hiding it from anyone, but the past four weeks had gone far too quickly without any moments to spare for the world around them. They slept together each night, the majority of that time not actually spent sleeping, but they hadn't been given the chance yet to explore more romantic avenues.

"It's fucking Archie Andrews- you're fucking Archie Andrews and don't you dare deny it." Cheryl gawked in her gorgeous white and nude bikini, watching as her friend lay back against the hot marble slabs which encased the large pool with the largest grin adorning her plump lips.

"We haven't had sex yet, so technically you aren't completely correct." Y/N winked but carried on before the girl exploded with a hundred questions and could never be turned off, "Trust me, I want to, and I'm sure he does too. But you know, it's his first time, I want it to be perfect for him."

"Y/N/N, you really love him, don't you?" Cheryl gagged to begin with, but she found it sweet in truth. She wanted someone to hold, who would hold her right back just as tight for no other reason than needing to.

Y/N sat back up and paddled her feet, "You have no idea, Cher."

Hours had elapsed far too fast and soon the summer heat simmered into cool waves of wind brushing over sun kissed skin. Cheryl's arms were clasped around the blonde's shoulders in a tight embrace.

"Thank you so much, Y/N/N, I don't know what I'd do without you!" The Blossom girl professed with sparkling eyes and a brilliant smile.

Y/N beamed up at her, fingers carding through her damp y/h/c hair as she looked over her shoulder to see her mum pulling into the driveway, "You don't need to thank me, Cher, friends look after each other. Message me if you need me, okay?"

Cheryl promised she would and the two teen girls hugged goodbye, with Y/N soon heading home- listening to her mother gossip about Hal and Alice's screaming match last night, Y/N loved her inability to keep her mouth shut sometimes.

"Mom," The y/h/c stopped her mid sentence and received a side eyed glance in response, "I need to tell you something and you're totally not allowed to freak out while you're driving."

Y/M's eyes widened and her grip tightened around the steering wheel, her daughters very rarely confided in her. While she knew her youngest was safe in her promiscuity, neither of Y/M Robins' girls ever shared their secrets so for the most part she took finding out into her own hands.

"Honey," The forty four year old's calm tone was hardly comforting to the teenager, "if this is about you and Archie fooling around, your father and I figured that out a long time ago, like so long ago. Who do you think does your laundry? When your underwear starting looking like dental floss, we caught on pretty quickly."

Y/N felt like a deer in headlights, "Mum, what the hell?" Her cheeks heated to an inhuman temperature.

"It's nothing to be embarrassed about, as long as you're being safe and he's-"

"For the second time today, and I can't believe I'm saying this to you, but I am not having sex with Archie Andrews!" Y/N's high pitched voice sounded through the car. It truly was a blessing and a curse to have such open minded parents in situations like this. She thought about telling her mother the truth, but Y/M was a blabber mouth as well as a gossip, so Y/N chose to withhold certain pieces of information.

The Robins matriarch dropped the subject but didn't forget about her daughter's tone, and continued to ramble on about how odd she found Penelope Blossom and the whole Blossom family in general. "Like why on Earth is Rose in a wooden wheelchair? They know it's the twenty first century, right?"

As expected, the Robins household was once again filled with warm laughter and copious amounts of food. The topic of Jason was skimmed over, and Y/S found herself away from the dinner table. The eldest Robins sibling was currently pleading with Alice as she began shoving all of Polly's belongings in the boot of Hal's car. She couldn't comprehend life without her best friend, not after losing Jason. They were meant to be going travelling together for a year- working the worst jobs and staying up all night to watch the sun rise in different countries. But instead, Y/S's eyes were blinded by tears as she screamed down the street at the speeding car, with Polly Cooper taken out of her life indefinitely.

Y/N was oblivious to the dark inner workings of the Cooper clan, Betty's knowledge about her and Archie unbeknownst to the loved up teens. She'd spent every second not occupied by her internship trying to justify the romantic act as a fleeting moment of loneliness fuelled by alcohol. She wrote in her diary ideas on how she could win Archie back over, not knowing it was in fact, too late. Betty found herself hopelessly in love with the boy next door, unfortunately for her, the girl across the road was the only one his mind found.

Archie and Y/N washed up while their parents resided to the living room with three glasses and a bottle of white wine. The short girl turned the tap off after placing the last utensil on the draining board, flicking her sudsy hands at the boy's face. "What the-"

She didn't give him a chance to finish that thought, jumping up and wrapping her legs around his torso- planting a kiss onto his lips, then cheeks, then forehead. The two fell entranced by each other, planting pecks across nape of her neck and top of his head.

"Son," Fred's voice called out from the next room and the two immediately pulled apart, hearts beating in their ears, "we're going in a minute."

"Alright." He replied, placing his girlfriend on the floor once more.

"I wish you'd stay." Y/N pouted childishly, she meant the words entirely but hated feeling overbearing. Her life had been turned upside down this summer, it started off with her unable to fall asleep with another person next to her- now Archie's chest was her most comfortable pillow and is arms were the warmest blanket.

"Tomorrow night instead, Princess? I promised my dad I'd spend more time with him before senior year." The boy reasoned, holding her close and unknowingly feeling the exact same way, he adored holding her by her waist and pulling her close under the duvet.

"Monopoly night at yours?" She grinned and he nodded back in reply, the two sharing a final kiss in the kitchen before walking into the hallway.

Y/N felt at ease as she wished the two a goodnight and headed up to bed. She took off her tea dress and replaced it with Archie's bulldog t-shirt, managing to reach the same length on her thighs as her dress did.
