One big difference between this and the team ro time travel one is how much less trustworthy Kakashi comes off to literally everyone who looks at him.

Next here we go still on a dpxdc and tim/Danny kick at the moment.

This one is pretty simple tim and Danny have been together for at least a year when the bats have no clue. They live together and they know of each other's identitys. You can go in many ways for this. I'm just going to say a few that have come to mind.

Tim had a falling out with the rest of the Gotham vigilantes. He doesn't see himself as part of the family. But he's not as upset as he once was because he has Danny, his friends, Danny's friends, and Danny's family. The fentons welcomed him with open arms. Maybe after Bruce comes back from the time stream, he starts to try to be more connected to his kids. He starts to spend more time with them to get to know them better, like he takes some time off or cut down on hours. He makes up with Jason it's still rock, but it's getting better. There was a lot of yelling and bruce tell jason that he regrets how he handled the joker. He apologized to dick for putting so much pressure on him, and he is everything Bruce couldn't be. He got to learn that Damian loves animals and art they go to museums and zoos. Him and Cass bond.(I'll be honest. I can't think of a way they bond at the moment. I don't know Cass that well. He just plainly gets to know Duke. But he can never get Tim alone he never stays long after Patrol. So Bruce tries to be open and asks his other kids to help him talk to Tim. They can't give him answers. It makes them pause and think when was the last time Tim stayed at the manor or just came around for a meal. Even Jason is around now more times than not. They realized that they had no clue about tim, they don't know him like they once did if they ever did. All feel horrible about it, Tim brought back their dad, and they didn't even try to get to know him better. So dick goes to Tim's apartment to see him. He's waiting in the lobby as the front desk person calls up to buzz him in. When Danny walks in with groceries and waves to the front desk to go up. When he is stopped, he asks if Tim is home. Danny hums said he's not sure, and he'll check. Dick thinks that maybe he lives on the floor below Tim as time lives in the pent house. After five minutes Tim calls down to the front desk and says they can send up dick. Dick beams at them as he gos to the elevator. He makes it up to Tim's place. Tim greats him saying that he was in the shower. Dick waves him off. Tim guides him to the kitchen where he see the guy from the lobby putting things away. He turns to Tim to ask but is cut off when Tim give the guy a quick kiss saying thanks after he hands Tim what looks like a little snack tray. Dick follows Tim out of the kitchen to the living room. Tim see the look and says he's my boyfriend he lives here. Questions are fired off fast, where dick learned the guys name is Danny, they have been dating for almost 2 years and living together for 10 months, and last but not least Tim does not see him self as part of the family. He takes what he learns back to the bats. Everyone feels horrible for this. They all try to include Tim more.

This scenario Tim takes Danny to a gala as his dateable. That's how he introduced his over a year boyfriend to his family. Just kinda a crack fic with a bit of angst. Like maybe Bruce wglhile he is happy for tim and wants to have a family dinner with Danny over to properly meet him he is emotionally constipated and worried for the secret identities.

Next scenario is simple. Dick, Jason and Damian run into tim while he and Danny are out for their weekly dat or as often as they can. That's how they find out their brother has a long term relationship. Danny is just laughing in the background.

Feel free add on these are just a few thoights of the same idea that tim and Danny have been together for a while, but the bats somehow don't know. I know there are fics out there with something like these. I love them.

Wow, that's honestly absurd. Sorry hon, I dunno where you heard that but it's made-up nonsense. A rumor, and not even a particularly good one. I think most anyone would be able to see through it, but I'll go through it with you anyway because I've seen some angst on the tag about this. 1. Lenore and Annabel are the main characters of the story, and that has not changed and will not change. If we intended to toss them aside in season 2, why on earth would we have set so much up in season 1? Also all of the promo art is still of them, and we spent a lot of time on it. So I think it's a safe bet to assume they're still the main characters. 2. Nevermore is, and has always been, a sapphic gothic romance. Montresor is a man. Where is the sense in changing the intent of a story, and likely losing readers in the process, just to appeal to a niche group? 3. As for this niche group of Montresor fans, where? Who are they? And what power do they supposedly have over us to force us to completely change the story to their shadowy whims? Idk if you noticed this but people kind of hate Montresor. He's easily the least liked character in the series. And making him the main character would be maybe the most unpopular decision we could possibly make, so how would that be selling out or making fanservice, if everyone... would hate it? Wouldn't that make it the opposite of fanservice? What is the logic there? 4. As far as I am concerned, Annabel and Lenore are popular with most everybody in the fandom (including people who happen to also like Montresor) on account of them being, once again, the main characters of the story. 5. Annabel got the first flashback, and then Ada, then Prospero, then Eulalie, and Will. I feel like there are enough data points there for most people to be able to see the trajectory of the arc. If you can't, I'm not going to explain it. 6. Related to the above point, do you suppose we've passed over Lenore by accident? Or we just forgot about her? Or is it more likely that we're doing a thing? 7. Y'know, it's always Montresor people make up these moralistic rumors about. I'm sick to death of people being weird about Montresor. Some of you out there really need to learn what a villain is, it's frankly wild how much confusion there seems to be around this concept. 8. This rumor smacks of "you don't actually care about the sapphics" but I regret to inform you that Flynn and I are both sapphics. And worse, we're sapphic together. Kinda shoots that idea out of the water. 9. Is this because everyone is mad they haven't kissed yet? Because this is still the same slowburn you read last season. I don't know why anyone thought there'd be a kiss like ten panels into the new season. 10. If I seem edgy, it's because it's pretty insulting to imply that we just do whatever readers tell us to do when it comes to creating the story. We really put our hearts into this series, and our plans for the plot will not change, no matter what y'all say or do. We do not crowdsource our art. God I love Truthless Recluse so much. He's such a sweet cookie, so precious, so relatable I love him dearly,,

I ADORE his design he's so pretty it's unfair. How can someone be at their lowest point and look so gorgeous at the same time?

He's so broken and sad I can't help but feel pity and affection for him- though ngl seeing him suffer is very enjoyable too. Especially when Shadow Milk plays with him since he knows which buttons to press- just a delight to witness. I have a weakness for kind characters being broken down or challenged by something that affects them greatly. Such a big potential for angst and character study.

It just saddens me how miserable he is, that he wholeheartedly believes that he hurt everyone, that it's all his fault everyone suffered. (Have you heard that line in Korean? God- It gets to me. Ouch) But despite that he still tried his best to protect the children from Shadow Milk even if it meant playing in his games. He tried to defy him but in the end he had to submit whether he wanted to or not. (Though it was meaningless to try to protect them since he pushed them off the tower anyway)

And I love that he managed to understand Shadow Milk, to literally feel his pain and self-loathing. A bit upsetting that this line was mistranslated and it was vague whose feelings were that TR felt. But all of it was Shadow Milk.

I can't help but wonder if his promotion line means that too in a way? That the more he understands the world the more he understands why Shadow Milk despises it? While of course APV is the opposite since he learned to accept every imperfection and embrace it, to love and cherish it. I dunno, maybe I'm reaching here. (BUT GOD HE LOVES SHADOW MILK, HE TRULY DOES EVEN AFTER HE'S BEEN HURT AND ABUSED BY HIM)

Also this line- thought it was a bit funny cause he's rather forward about it but it's also sweet. He doesn't blame you if you can't go forward, he's just gently saying "hey it's okay if you're tired, just take a break" and I love that about him. He's still Pure Vanilla. He's still so caring and sweet. He'd hug you if you're having a bad day even if he's hurting too. He'd shield you from the bitter truth and take the blow. (Costume story TR does that too basically)

Also what's heartbreaking is that in order to awaken he literally needs to stab himself in his chest- he needs to kill himself to ascend to the top and it just 💔💔 Breaks me. He doesn't deserve this. My poor Recluse,,

I wanted to draw some ideas I had of Trollex and Synth's parents and ended up with a sorta au and a little techno troll worldbuilding.

I like to think that Trollex was one of those kids that absolutely hated the idea of a sibling. One of those kids that gives the parents the meanest/most concerned side eye when he's first introduced to his sibling.

I think part of it is also cause Trollex had a very poor understanding of what a sibling was. Like his mom told him something like

"its like having a best friend for the rest of your life!"

"the rest of my life???" and he then thought Synth was going to stay small and crying for the rest of his life.

Idk I thought it was kinda funny.

But as they grow up they get more used to each-other and they argue(as siblings do) but they do end up becoming each other's best friend.

Anyway I imagine Synthia traveled a lot before meeting unamed other mom. Like her genre of music is still techno, just like techno adjacent?

Like I really like the idea of there being other smaller groups of techno trolls, like deep water techno trolls would be like maybe 2bit game-type music. Fresh water might be like idk techno pop, since they're closer to the other troll kingdoms. Oh wait no they're vocaloid.

Anyway she's the Queen and I wanted her/her side to look more like Synth than Trollex cause i think it'd be fun to explore the feeling of a young King Trollex still trying to figure out how to rule without his parents' guidance and the fact that he looks so unlike his mom/past rulers would kind of be like the cherry on top yknow?

As much as he knows its foolish to think part of him wonders if Synth would be a better King than him, Synth is like the spitting image of their Mom/their Grandad.

When his mom was alive, she was always busy with Queenly duties and he never spent much time with her, (I have lore stuff for her too, I went a lil overboard) but one thing he does remember is that his Mom admired his grandad for being a good strong ruler. Thats why he's named after him. So he can't help but wonder if he's doing things right, if he's a good king, if his parents would be proud, if he's doing his grandfathers name justice and ruling the techno trolls in the right direction.

Uhh what else, I feel like Trollex would see his mom a lot in Synth. Mostly cause the 2 look so similar, but since Trollex never got to know his mom he doesnt realize that personality-wise he and his mom are super similar.

They probably would've gotten closer and formed a really tight bond as he grew up and was learning how to rule from her. Too bad that didn't happen.

Also Synth doesn't remember his parents. At all, he's seen their pictures so he knows what they look like but thats all he remembers them as, as pictures. It kinda killed Trollex when Synth told him that. Everyone else remembers them as rulers, but he remembers them as his moms, and even his memory of them as his moms have faded and warped overtime.

I have more tumbling around in my brain, most of it revolves around unnamed mom and her grandad/her family but I've got some ideas about Synthia's character and her life/family too.

Idk of I'll make more art or about it tho, might just write a bunch of words and post it lol.

Where I Start... AKA the not so important stuff, but read if you want to learn a bit about me I guess idk: It's my first time posting, I'm kinda new to this whole Tumblr thing lol. Initially, I was kinda hesitant on sharing this (especially on Tumblr where I have no idea what I'm doing and I currently have NO FOLLOWERS LMAO...). Honestly my friend was my main motivator for making this post in the first place. I'd appreciate any tips on how to operate this whole thing, I'm still getting used to it hah. I'm not so confident on sharing my art publicly so this is a first for me. If you ever get the opportunity, please take the chance to go and check this fic out! I'd really appreciate it as this is my time posting a fic ever + I know how little this fandom is. :') I believe that this story has a fair chance at diving deep into a continuation of Wordgirl, along with being filled with "a roller coaster of emotions".

*Summary:

During Becky Botsford's pre-teen, she created plans in which she ended up going through multiple attempts of trying to turn supervillains from evil to 'good'. Especially when it came to Tobey. Perhaps it was due to how much easier it seemed on the surface...

As Becky goes through the beginning year of highschool, her troubles begin to catch up on her and impact her life both in and out of being a superhero. She begins to wonder how she could live a normal life through all the hardships and duties she is willing to go through—particularly when it comes to her identity and helping the people around her.

I know what you meant but just the entire term "T boy swag" reminded me of my fav rapper who just goes by "T" and since I wanted to do that for a while anyway (his songtexts would resonate with Flug so much) I used this as an excuse to redraw one of his album covers, so I love that, I'm gonna steal that heheh

umm yeah so... we're not even done with the first season, so idk. from S1-B I predict more of what we've had so far; more or less episodic comedy, slowly easing us into a connected plot. 6th episode already kinda introduced that.

it's gonna be one of those cartoons like TOH who start off silly and episodic in the first season and develop into a melodramatic serialized show from 2nd season onwards.

this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I actually do not 100% vibe with that, I prefer episodic cartoons like SpongeBob or South Park without overarching plot; comedy over drama. but it was always obvious that Villainous is gonna have a fuck ton of lore so I'm not disappointed.

my criticism rn is that I feel it's already way too many characters I'm sorry. it's getting pretty convoluted. I'm just not a fan of that but again pretty subjective. I can't bring myself to care for absolutely any character that we haven't seen animated yet. it's been too long for me to throw too many new characters in the mix, I've been nonstop hyperfixated since 7 years so I'm skeptical about changes.

as for the plot, I have no idea. we're in so early that I can't even imagine where this is gonna go.

for the end I wish that no ship with the main 3 becomes canon. it's just going to create fandom wars, just leave it open

Stephanie Beatrice had played my 3 favorite characters (Rosa Mirabel and Vaggie) and since I watched Encanto and B99 I have my head canon that Vaggie have both Rosa and Mirabel personalities.

Oh man! I do have some ideas! A lot of my headcanons were already kinda sorta mentioned in my fic/art tho, so sorry if you're not getting a lot of new info

- I have this headcanon that Vaggie's always been "softer" than the other Exorcists, which is what I assume Lute meant when she said she "always knew [Vaggie] was weak". I know it probably has more to do with how little time each episode has, but what if Lute was so ready, already behind Vaggie when she let that kid go, because she knew this wasn't the first time Vaggie spared a sinner? Maybe that was just the first time Lute actually caught her. Maybe she's always had her suspicions, when Vaggie's kill count would lower every year, and she'd sometimes find Vaggie saying a sinner got away somehow despite cornering that demon moments ago.

- although she's gotten used enough to her lack of depth perception when it comes to her hand eye coordination, especially when fighting, i like to think her reading ability could never truly go back to the way it used to be, so she has trouble reading/ writing/texting (if you notice, i always showed instances of this in my fic ;> )But because she's the hotel manager she still has to deal with them because of paperwork and shit, so she has prescription glasses that help. I'd wanted to include a scene in the First Guest where Vaggie almost cries after seeing Charlie thru the glasses for the first time, because she didn't think Charlie could be any more beautiful, but i scrapped the idea because I couldn't expand the concept enough to an actual scene that could be relevant to the overall fic. I probably should have just mentioned it in a paragraph or something, but by the time i remembered id already posted the chapter I intended to add it in. Maybe I'll use it for another fic.

- she prefers femme clothing so she doesn't really have a reason to do this, but she learned how to do all kinds of ties so that she could do Charlie's whenever

- she grew her hair to compensate for her lost wings

- she wasn't exactly a great cook before she Fell, but she was pretty capable when she lived alone in Heaven. Cooking for Charlie tho gave her the motivation to get better and actually enjoy it

- an angel trait that she could never truly abandon is being a stickler for rules. She's very strict on everyone and herself with these things, within reason. So even when she and Charlie started dating, she insisted that they can't sleep together until they've had their third date. When they're on the clock, they have to be professional and avoid flirtatious advances in front of staff and guests. Charlie didn't mind because she prefers privacy too.

- Vaggie's physical appearance slightly changed gradually the longer she stayed in hell. As an angel, her sclera was paler, her incisors duller, and her skin grayer. But as time passed, her sclera got more and more peach/pink, fangs sharper, and skin more purple toned

- i still like to think that Vaggie's old backstory back when only the pilot was out (having died in 2014 in her early twenties who worked as a sex worker in El Salvador) was still true. Maybe it's just because I've liked Chaggie since pilot, and I've grown really attached to that backstory. I also just really don't want Vaggie to be Heavenborn for some reason. Among the cast she just seems the most grounded to reality to me, so having her revealed to have never been human and born "divine" just doesn't seem right to me. I also just think it'd be cute and funny if it turns out she's chronologically the youngest in the hotel even tho she's basically everyone's strict not-mom.

- idgaf what Adam says, I wanna think that "Vaggie" is short for "Evangeline". I used to have these 2 coworkers in their late 50's to 60's who had Evangeline as their government name, but one of them goes by "Vanj" and the other "Vajee". Being older Filipino women who aren't really too fluent in English, they never thought there was anything wrong with that when they grew up with their nicknames. I like to think that the case was the same if Vaggie used to be human. I'm not sure how common English is in El Salvador, but I'm willing to bet it's possible she could have been given that nickname as a kid by an older family member who didn't know a lot of English. Also Evangeline makes more sense to have been the name of an angel cmon now...

Manifested A New Monitor In Under 24 Hours

Apparently success stories are motivational or shit, so here is one for y'all. Not really my thing to share success stories normally, but this one is so dumb and fast maybe it helps someone. Take it or leave it basically ┐( ˘ ､ ˘ )┌ Anyway, context: I do digital art. Like a lot, a metric fuckton of drawing anime men. And I have been using the same monitor since the beginning of my art journey. I love that crusty old bastard, we have been through a lot. But like most good things lately it has been going downhill. Not in a "look how quirky" - kind of way. More like the "I may implode mid-project and flash seizure lights at you" - kind of way. And the power button stopped working, so it won't even turn off. Do I have other monitors? Yes. Are they decent for digital art? Hahaha... no. Yeah, I could use one of them in case my monitor suddenly flatlines while I'm trying to merge some layers or play Genshin or Dead By Daylight or whatever. But honestly? I rather wrestle my old monitor out of the afterlife than deal with whatever piss-yellow color settings filter those monitors have going on. But I wasn't actively looking for a new monitor either, because a decent one costs more than my will to live. Not ready for that kind of financial trauma. Didn't thought about manifesting one either, my brain kinda forgot this was an option. What happened? I saw an absolute unit of a monitor at my friends desk. Colors so juicy they made my eyes water and my heart lurch. Size big enough to show me my shrimp like posture while drawing in full HD reflection. I thought "Damn this thing is nice. I will get one like that one day. Mine". That was it. No drama, no longing gazes at the monitor, no dropping hints at my friend that I want the monitor. No hints that my old one was being cranky and slowly turning into a microwave. Just looked at that spicy monitor and internally decided one like that would be mine. Fast forward not even 24 hours later and my friend suddenly turns to me and asks: "Hey, you want that monitor? I never use it anyway". That exact monitor I locked eyes with the day before. Zero effort, zero mental crisis. We swapped, one of my backup monitors for that gorgeous piece of display heaven (that thing has touchscreen too T-T). "But Mochi, why are you telling us this boring story???" Because sometimes shit just works like that. No need to strangle or micromanage every detail of your manifestations. I wanted it, I probably mentally claimed it and went on with chugging a liter of hot chocolate with milk despite being lactose intolerant. No pressure, no mental crisis, no "what if I never get a monitor that nice?", no "I need it now or I'll explode." Same applies to shifting more or less. Maybe we should sometimes back off and trust the process, and maybe the 3D will get its ass up and actually do shit. And yeah, I struggle with that in regards to shifting too. No shame in admitting that. I want my DR so bad and now and I question everything I do twice, I basically build a brick wall in front of myself. But shit like those small manifestations make us learn, right? Right ^-^

Okay we see how Bruce, Dick, Jason, Tim and Cass become Yanderes for reader what about Damian, Steph and Babs?

That question is exactly why I'm kind of debating on making a kinda "Part 2.5" sort of thing, and it would show how Tim and Damian got further roped into things like Bruce, Dick, Jason and Cass. Along with how Steph and Babs take the news of "heyyy, um. you know Y/n? yeah that one sibling of ours that's lived here for years that we've barely have like, 10 conversations with collectively? Yeah, that sibling. Uh, we just figured out they've basically been living an entire life without any of us knowing, and might've run away because we were barely involved in their life despite them making multiple attempts to have us be there. So, we kind of need your help to find them. Like. Now-"

Though honestly I'll just put the run down here, so-

Bruce kind of gave Damian the little push he needed before hopping on the train, kind of like what he did with Jason but a little different. With him finding Damian, and some questions being thrown around, before Damian just decides to help look for you.

Honestly I can imagine that Damian wasn't super serious about finding you or anything at first, and was more so just trying to help because Bruce and Dick were looking for you. Hence why he looks for Alfred first with the intention to get the search done and over with. Though, that does begin to change a little when he eventually stumbles upon your room and gets that small glimpse of all he's missed out on after having talked with Alfred.

The room itself doesn't necessarily get to Damian — not like it does with Bruce and Dick — but it's more of the contents of the room itself that get him started on the yandere path.

Honestly, how Damian and Tim begin to develop their more Yandere thoughts and feelings for the reader is through finding something in your room, leading them to find more stuff, and that eventually getting to the thought process of "i didn't know they did this... i would've liked to know about this before/share this thing with them." Which then leads to a more yandere-like mindset.

For Damian (since we're already on the topic of him), he finds that one art award that you got, and becomes curious. Eventually he finds the unfinished art pieces that Bruce had found earlier, and while he isn't impressed or anything at first, the more unfinished pieces he finds the more he kind of begins to see your potential, and that leads to his own thoughts on the matter. With him wishing he knew about how you liked to do art too, and that eventually leads to him thinking that he could've helped you refine your skill, and the both of you could've drawn or painted together.

What strengthens that mindset is when he gets his hands on a notebook that you had used to practice whatever you were struggling with, and left notes for yourself on how you could improve upon certain things as well. Maybe if Damian had known you were into art before, he could've helped you, and you both could've improved together. Refine each other's skills, and just be able to create together. Which Damian really begins to like the thought of. Especially as he sees how you improved the deeper into the notebook he gets.

So, he also sets out to find you, but with a more positive mindset and thought process.

Honestly, out of everyone, Damian is the least worried about you and your well-being. Not because he necessarily has faith in your abilities to stay alive in Gotham, while also potentially being by yourself, but rather he isn't focused on that part? Not as intensely as some of the others, anyway.

Besides, if you were to turn up dead, then he'd have the "you die, I kill you" mindset. You aren't allowed to be dead or 'missing' in his mind, and so you aren't until proven other wise — but even then he's going to need a lot of solid proof to even believe it.

Damian is just more focused on the "we have a common interest and I want to do this thing with them" part of learning that you're into art. Even if you aren't anymore, just knowing that it was something that you used to do is enough to get him jumping on the yandere train. You'll be doing art with him one way or another, and you can't do shit about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sure his reasoning isn't a strong, but it's enough to get him started and to go looking for you with the others when they eventually start tearing Gotham apart in hopes to find you. Damian now has a sudden need for quality time and your his main target, sorry not sorry.

Tim on the other hand just sort of, stumbled upon your room, and thanks to Dick was very quickly roped into this mess (as mentioned in "Not Here").

He actually looks through the box with all of your more personal belongs first as Dick tries to call and text you like crazy, while also trying to figure out more stuff.

The first thing he minds is an mp3 player, which, again - as mentioned in "Not Here" held very early versions of songs you were working on at the time, along with some of the very first songs you ever wrote. Which, after listening to a few of them, is immediately a big fan. Though that ends up being both his downfall and how he begins to develop his more yandere tendencies.

Like Dick, you had tried to call and message him about certain performances and such you thought he'd like, and hoped he'd attend, but to no avail. It sucks even more for Tim now because if he had just given your music a chance just a little sooner, maybe things would've been different between the two of you. Maybe you wouldn't have left.

Not to mention that, since he now really loves your music - just knowing that he's wasted so many opportunities to hear more of it, and the completed, fully fleshed out versions of some the songs on the mp3 player makes him upset. He really feels the hit of neglecting you, and that hit only lands harder when he goes through that 'List/Progress' notebook that Bruce had seen earlier in "Not Here".

A notebook which does reveal a lot about you, and how you only did so many activities because you hoped that if anyone in the family was into one of the activities/hobbies you tried, then you'd be able to bond with them over it. Though look at where that got you. Countless awards hung on your walls, with a number of accomplishments to your name - and yet not once were you able to use them for their original purpose. Not once were you able to hold a full, long conversation with any of them about any of the things you've done.

It wasn't even your fault because you tried to put in the work, Tim could really see that now, but you just weren't given the chance to actually put it to good use.

Maybe that's why he ended up helping Dick as much as he did, and maybe that's why he took the time to download some of your songs before heading out to look for you. He wanted to feel closer to you then he really was, and wanted your music to be something shared between the two of you.

Tim wants to not only get closer to you, but to hear everything you've ever made music wise. A want which he fully intends on making a reality.

Stephenie and Barbara are a bit different, however. Since, as stated in "Not Here", both of them are informed of what's going on after everyone else but Damian and Alfred absolutely loses their minds over you not being in the Manor. Though, again, both take the news a bit differently.

Between the two, Steph easily feels the worst. So her motivations and actions — like Bruce, Dick, Jason, Cass, and Tim — are more out of guilt and regret. She already doesn't like the thought of her own neglect having caused you to keep so many things to yourself that you basically hid yourself away, but the idea of her — along with everyone else — having pushed you so far away that you ran away? That... doesn't make her feel good, to say the least.

Sure, she doesn't feel as bad as Bruce or Dick - who easily feel the worst because of their respective roles in the family, and them feeling like they failed to even be a semi-present figure in your life for you to recognize them as your Father and Older Brother (to which they are correct, but aren't aware of that yet) - but it's still enough for her to try and look for you too.

Kind of like Bruce when he was looking in the Manor, Stephanie doesn't know where to start looking, and that only worsens her regret.

I guess her development comes more with time? Since the more she and the others look, not only do her feelings grow, but she also learns more about you as everyone starts sharing information over the intercoms. Things they just found out about you — like how you spent your birthdays alone with Alfred and had waited for them each year until recently, how you made music, what kind of competitions and such you've participated in, who were your teachers, how majority of what you did wasn't even for yourself - but rather a chance that one of the many activities you did try out was something anyone of them were into, so that way you could actually have a conversation with them - and more. (Which may be shown later? Not in a official post/part to the series but perhaps in a sort of side thing that shows the mayhem going on. But who knows?)

Case and point, while they are all looking for you - Steph slowly becomes more yandere for the reader the more she learns about you and how her and the other's actions impacted you. Like some of the others, she wants to make it up to you, but isn't entirely sure how she'd even go about doing that. The more aware she becomes, the harder she falls.

Barbara on the other hand, I'd say, is more lowkey as of now when it comes to her development as a yandere?

I mean, Dick, while very much panicking, basically told her it was an emergency and he really needed her on the bat computer because he had to look for you. Which, in the same breath, gave a list of locations and possible teachers you might've had in the past (you can thank Tim for trying to figure all of that out) and if she could look into it.

It's safe to say that Barbara's introduction into the whole situation was very chaotic. An emotional, worried, and panicked Dick is never a good one, so that was fun to deal with while slowly drowning in confusion.

Eventually, she got the run down and was quick to help, but like Bruce, Cass, Damian, and Jason - she was more confused at the start.

Ouf of everyone, and maybe besides Jason, Barbara has had the least amount of interaction with you - and the room for possible interactions with you for her were much smaller anyway considering that you aren't a vigilante, and never intended to be. So, it only makes sense that one of the people you've easily had the least connection with, was the person who communicated and mainly interacted with the rest of the Batfam when they're doing vigilante work.

What didn't help is that she barely even saw you at events or even holiday gatherings and such the family would have, with you being so neglected that they just... failed to even notice you missing at the time. The day she was introduced to you was when you were first adopted, and that was basically both the first and last full interaction either of you have had with each other. Other than that, she would hear small comments about you sometimes from the others, but even then it wasn't much and those soon died out as one could've guessed.

Even when she was in the Manor, she might've caught a few glimpses of you, but nothing else - so the beginning of her fall into being a yandere is definitely much slowly and lowkey when compared to the others.

I feel as if this whole situation may encourage Babs to want to get to know you better? After all, your disappearance did cause the whole family to basically start a whole manhunt just to find you, so I feel as if that would be enough to get Barbara interested at the very least. Not to mention all of the things she's hearing about you from everyone - it would be nice to try and actually meet you, not just know about you.

In other words, I feel as if Barbara may develop more as a yandere in part 3, seeing as I can see her more yandere tendencies begin to develop once she actually 'meets' you. Y'know what I mean?

So tldr; Damian becomes a yandere for the reader by finding out they're into art/have done art in the past, and now has a deep need to bond with them.

Steph becomes a yandere through her guilt and regret, and like some of the others, want to make it up to the reader.

Babs, on the other hand, hasn't exactly become a yandere just yet, but will once she 'meets' the reader and see them for herself. As of right now, she's just curious, but we'll get there in part 3.

Also, this is unrelated to the ask, but I would like to point out how pretty much everyone in the Batfam thinks you ran away rather then you just leaving. Do what you will with this information for now :]
