Also, there is so much hand-wringing over the ethics of BDSM and while obviously it is worth taking care about ...sensation seeking is a thing. Many, many people enjoy eating habanero peppers and/or watching movies that make them cry. The conceptual leap from there to the idea that it's possible for sex to hurt good is a very short one, and sometimes it REALLY is as simple as that.

#that's actually a really flattering thing to hear!#and I get what you mean #every now and then someone mistakes my art as fanart of some piece of media #that they don't recognize but like the art anyway #I wish I had the product to give to you #a graphic novel or a webtoon or a written narrative #I fear there's a hole the shape of the main story in my work #and even though I allude to it and talk about it in the safety of the tags #it's kind of frustrating that you have to piece it together from the scattered bits of lore #instead of reading ~the thing~ digesting it and knowing you have consumed the story in it's intended form #this got a little off track #I think it's so motivating and rewarding that you're interested in my characters to begin with #even in the absence of a proper finalized work of fiction that ties all the art together #answered #anonymous #imagine a reality where they aren't lovers in the canon work but I just ship them really hard #even better if they aren't even the protagonists but some inconsequential side characters #that get two minutes of screen time every other episode and barely ever in the same scene

By implying that children are too stupid and rude to learn about the world and learn how the world works and how to interact with others, you are casting responsibility away from the people who are responsible for that child's upbringing and placing the blame on the children (who don't have the autonomy given to them to be allowed to decide what they want) who can't help what they do and do not learn, often.

If the children aren't okay, then investigate why before turning to thought-terminating clichés of, "Well, the kids are just stupid and dumb and aren't even worth the effort because they're lazy!"

ruthlessly deleting old 2021/2022 posts (not by me) from my dean studies tag like *click* un-incorporating that from my beliefs system! also the way SO many posts have me like ok uh-huh good aaand then say one completely wrong thing that loses me. it's so many posts.

#the dragon prince #tdp #rayla #callum #aaravos #aquanutart #if you aren't waking up at 6am before work to color two hundred puffballs are you really living #there is no other way to replicate the uniquely human experience of looking at your 200 puffballs and going #'i have woken up before dawn to color these puffballs thank god they are done'#and i think that is beautiful #actually i've had this lying around unfinished for three years because i did not want to color the 200 puffballs #in this day and age there has to be a way to make it a photoshop brush #i did manage to copy and paste some which helped but #because i delayed coloring it for three years i forgot where i copy and pasted what #and so i was not able to use it so much for the coloring because i didn't know where to match it up...#and i actually tried making a brush but i didn't know how to make it keep the colors #so it made this shape of like 50 puffballs with their little eyes cut out #but it was all the one color i had selected. only in the shape of the puffballs #anyway damn i feel so alive #at least i did when i originally wrote these tags which is before i actually finished this #then i experienced the other uniquely human feeling of coming home from work and realizing it looked totally unlike what i wanted #and that i was going to have to spend the entire rest of my free time that week recoloring it from scratch #as well as rearranging the panels and fixing some things because i didn't know how to warp text along a curve #so i had made the book page flat in order to have non-curved text and it looked wrong and i ended up handwriting it #anyway it took me 17 hours to recolor this from scratch not in small part because i kept not knowing how to shade the puffballs #i mean the puffballs are individually shaded but the mass of them also has a shadow side and what's it supposed to look like?#i kept thinking the shadow colors looked muddy and every time i tried to change them i had to recolor all the balls with 14 different colors #it was so confusing i finally just said enough. i tried looking at objects covered in multicolored pompoms for reference yet still idk #anyway now that i have talked so much i've completely distracted everyone from the joke. please ignore this and laugh at the joke #the moral of this story i think is that actually i do not recommend individually drawing this many puffballs

I had another Good Omens fanfiction dream this morning.

Basically, Crowley was due to give birth. You might ask, Pestilence, what's with you and Crowley being pregnant?.. The answer is, I don't know, and neither does my therapist.

So, Crowley's due to give birth, he's scared and in pain. Beelzebub shows up, along with a few other demons (I guess I'll look through the Key of Solomon, I remember a few have to do with healing). She told him they'll support him. I have a feeling, the dream adhered to my idea that Crowley and Beelzebub are siblings (in spite Beelzebub looking like she does in S2, so Indian).

Crowley had to change to his snake form, because while his human form was male (so he couldn't give birth without surgery, which was too dangerous), his snake form was female. The demons put him in a whelping box (genius idea). Crowley gave birth to either 4 or 6 baby snakes (apparently, they're called snakelets). It was a live birth, which, fun fact, some snakes do give (i think boa constrictors, and snake Crowley kind of looks like one, aside from the colouring). The baby snakes then morphed to human form. I don't think Crowley nearly died, but he lost a lot of blood, and got extremely exhausted. No, it probably wasn't realistic to how snakes actually give birth.

(They were far larger, though)

Oh, and at some point, Aziraphale found out, but someone (possibly Beelzebub) forbade him from coming, because an angel's presence would distress the babies, and they wouldn't take human form. They could also die.

No, I don't think Aziraphale was the "father". The babies were demons, while, according to my headcanons, when an angel procreates with a demon, the baby's an angel, as it's the original form (though, they do retain some demonic features). Maybe, Crowley mated with an actual snake, or something... It would be very Greek and Norse god of him, but what the Heaven, dude... I guess, Beelzebub could act as the litter's she-father, once the two had reconciled. Which, is a word I use for maternal figures who, traditionally, would be considered more paternal. You know, kind of emotionally detached, more provider than carer, often absent, that sort of deal.

This is incoherent, but I only remember fragments. I guess, I will put it down in my notes for the future. I already did. (I'm kind of tempted to write the birth scene, I like writing birth scenes, they're brutal).

Don't you just have a love/hate relationship with when you are already swamped with WIPs, but the Fanfiction Gods send you another vision?..

Also, don't you just hate it when you give birth to a litter of snakelets, with the help of your coworkers, and your estranged sister.

What the Hell do you even name that many damn whelps...
