Your dusekkar lore one pleasepleasepleaseplease- >:'0
Hi bestieeee hiiii
Dusekkar is one of my favorites :333 although most of his in-depth information was already said in past Telamon-related posts, i can still share some other tiny bits
-Reason why their age says "approximate" it's cuz of an inside joke i have with Fabi herself about Dusekkar being way older than they appear, but just tells people they're 40-something for simplicity sake
-The pumpkin heads are an species in my au! they're often wizards and witches of varying specialties, with their own customs, traditions and even communities, though Dusekkar was one of the few pumpkingheads with extremely powerful, natural skills, it being Fire, and by addition, Light.
-He can grow flowers on his antlers sometimes, it's kinda like his version of a beard? he tends to trim it down to keep em clean and simple-looking but can let them grow for special ocassions- they can even grow all of the sudden when experiencing strong positive emotions (And they're edible!)
-They wear any type of clothing, from masc to fem presenting, depends of the mood and the place he's going. Most of these clothing are pretty modest and nothing too flashy lest they feel like experimenting
-BIG bookworm, a "nerd" as Shed calls him.
-Writes fanfiction he's very adamant on never sharing with Shed nor anyone cuz that's his personal, PRIVATE hobby. Sometimes it gets raunchy :J
-They might seem like a very polite guy but GOD do they have a strong attitude, you literally cannot get through him nor trick him so easily, always analizes situations before acting, dare i say the one with most braincells among the survivors if i had to do a round-up
-Most likely already figured out some interesting things about the Spectre, but tries not to think too hard about it to not disturb his mind palace and alert It. He's VERY careful about this.
-They follow a very particular version of The Spawn separate from Twotime's, dare i say the "original", more traditional way of The Spawn (Since, Telamon, duhhh), reason why listening to em talk about their devotion it's a constant inner battle to not choke them with their bare hands on the spot infront of everyone.
-Before being Forsaken'd, he had a student back in the day for a period of time; Luke! (StickMasterLuke) i will explain this further some other time if anyone's interested :J
-He's a very proper-mannered guy, eloquent and very dedicated to his job back in Roblox and his duty as a wizard, but at the same time you can see him trying to catch a frog in the rain and swearing when it slips out his hands while covered in mud. He allows himself curiosity and whimsy, even if it makes him a little embarrassed when someone sees him like this, specially some coworkers. It's his truer self, though.
-He's a funny drunk, too clingy and lovey-dovey. Actually the way he confessed to Doom was while drunk, haha.
-Has wings just like Telamon and 1x1! doesn't show em' often
-And lastly, for now: The inside of his head is a light, yes he can take the pumpkin off but it's the equivalent of an angel taking off it's helmet and you being flashbanged- He can tone it down though. He can also modify it's texture, density and "feeling" so it doesn't hurt you or even simulate teeth, spitting, or a tongue, for, demostration purposes, of course, haha. he's a wizard he can do that kidna stuff of courseeeee
#ask#homicidalporkchops#forsaken fanart#forsaken dusekkar#character reference#im kinda eepy rn so if i find any mistake when i wake up i'll edit this haha

Ryomen Sukuna x F!Reader - His favourite Obsession
Summary:
"I have many obsessions, but not the finest booze, nor the best fucking drug in this world compares to you, (y/n)"
Ryomen Sukuna. The man who's responsible for many crimes in the heart of Japan along with the other members of his yakuza organization. The man whose heart and eyes are as cold as ice when it comes to killing someone, not feeling the slightest pity for those he sees as a threat. He's the most feared man in Japan for a reason. Everyone knows who he is throughnout the country. His own men are fearing him, yet nobody knows him actually. Not even (y/n), but he knows everything about her. She is oblivious to that fact for a very long time, having no clue that the man of topic is stalking her. His love for her is beyond affection. It's an obsession. The kind of obsession where he would do literally anything for the woman he loves. He takes the phrase 'I would kill for you' rather seriously.

⚠️EXPLICIT CONTENT⚠️
✓ I only own the storyline of the book
× I do not own the characters of Jujutsu kaisen
Disclaimer + Chapter 1
Disclaimer (MUST READ)
Please don't skip this short disclaimer, there are important informations included within this "chapter". (If you skip, don't blame me that I didn't warn you about a few things, because I always do.)
First of all... NO MINORS! Or at least no minors who are not mature enough for the explicit themes I am going to write in this story.
So if you are a snowflake and can't handle violence, bloody themes, mentions of murder, kissing, lemons/smuts or whatever that can be included in this category, you should stop reading right here. I'm sure you can find a more suiting book for yourself if you can't handle these kind of stuff and prefer rainbows and sunshine when it comes to books.
I'm not a merciful person when it comes to mature content, so don't blame me if you've proceeded to read further. I'm not taking responsibility for causing a shock or you losing your innocence. ✌️
Okay, let's start...
As in my other stories, I would like to thank you for clicking on my book and giving it a chance! It really means a lot to me! ❤️
What I give in exchange for clicking on my story is nice adventure! Something that my crazy mind created...
Those who have read any of my other stories know what kind of writing style I have, but for those who are new, I'm going to tell a few things:
• I usually write 2000 words per chapter. However there are times when I make it a bit longer if there is a lot happening according to the plot. I think 2000 words for a chapter is the most comfortable to both write and read.
• I am a merciless person when it comes to cliffhangers so bear with me.
• Speaking of which... Yes I do write in my free time just like most of the fellow fanfiction writers here. I have a life, a family with two kids, so please be patient and don't ask for an update when I just updated. (Of course badly waiting for it is something else, but I'm not going to force myself to write if I don't have time or if I'm not in the mood)
• I LOVE drama, fluff and dirty minded scenarios. I honestly live for these kind of themes so prepare yourself if you are as rotten as me when it comes to mature content ✨
• Yes the story will contain smut. (How could I not include any in it ತ‿ʖತ) I know that somewhere deep you all seek for quality smuts just like me... Wattpad as well as other platfroms lack quality ones. There are rarely any in my opinion that are actually great. Those chapters will definitely be longer than my usual 2000 words. Yes you read it right 😌 if you don't believe me, peek into one of my latest stories for proof.
• I won't always put a warning before the chapters, sometimes I forget about it. Oh and be sure to get the whole world's holy water for yourself. (Honestly I think it's going to be useless. We are all going to rot in hell for liking these kind of books but if all the hot anime men are waiting for us there who cares 🤷♀️)
• Also I am very cruel because I try to describe feelings as detailed as possible. This is both true to happy and sad feelings. Make sure to always have ice cream in your freezer and brewed tea. If you don't have any, come back here, I am giving them away for free. Extra popcorn and tea is free as well. Choose to your liking: 🍧🍨🍦, 🍿🍿, 🍵🫖
• I do love plot twists and make my readers confused or fool them with these twists so be prepared 😈
Things I appreciate:
💟 I love any kinds of feedback. Let it be comments, votes or messages. It makes me want to write more and update more frequently to satisfy your needs. So if you have anything to say, feel free to do it! I always appreciate it!
💟 If you have any fantasies in your mind you want to see throughnout the story tell me! There are no limits. (If you knew how dirty my mind is you would run away I swear)
A few more things that are important:
° My first language is not English so I apologize for any kind of grammar mistakes, I try my best. (Typos don't count)
° I'm not going to follow the anime's timeline. I mean, there will be a few things included to bring life to my book and be close to the world of Jujutsu kaisen, but this is a fanfiction where I am the boss 😎 Besides, this is a Mafia/yakuza AU. No cursed energy etc in this world.
° You may also find me on Archive of our own (Ao3) and Wattpad so you don't have to dm me and tell someone stole my work if you see the story there.
https://archiveofourown.org/users/HungarianShinobi
https://www.wattpad.com/user/Hungarian-Shinobi
But if you perhaps see my work somewhere else, let me know. I never give permission to anyone to post my stuff somewhere else.
Speaking of which. NEVER and I mean it... Never! Ever! rewrite, repost, use my story as a base or steal it. Any kind of form within the meaning of using my work in anything is absolutely unacceptable! I work hard on my books, please respect my effort and don't do this.
° I do not own the anime/manga, nor the characters. They all belong to the dear creator, Gege Akutami.
° This fanfiction was created for fun and created for fellow Sukuna simps. ^^
° I do not own any of the pictures and fanarts I put inside the story unless I say so.
° I only own the storyline and a few ocs here and there throughnout the story.

Chapter 1
Third person POV:
So beautiful. So... god... damn... beautiful....
He would think to himself whenever he steals a quick glance at the screen of his phone or the monitor back at his home. Yes... He has cameras installed all over the place where she lives and he hacked his way into the security cameras she most frequently visits in order to keep a close eye on her. He wished he had cameras in her home too, because he can't see what she does there inside.
Even from a distance he admires her. He loves her... Or rather, he is beyond obsessed with this woman named (l/n) (y/n).
He only talked to her once in person. In that same moment he fell... he fell so hard in love with her that there's never a moment he doesn't think about the woman he loves so badly.
He didn't even think he's capable of such emotions. That is until he met her on that certain day about half a year ago.
.
.
.
The bustling streets of Tokyo hummed with life, the neon lights reflecting off the damp pavement from the recent drizzle. (Y/n), a petite young woman with warm, doe-like eyes, was hurriedly making her way home, arms laden with groceries.
As she navigated the crowded sidewalk, her mind preoccupied with the mundane tasks ahead, she suddenly collided with a tall, imposing figure. Startled, she stumbled backward, her heavy canvas bag tumbling from her grasp and spilling its contents across the damp concrete.
"Ah-... I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed, quickly crouching down to gather her scattered belongings. Sukuna, a man of sharp features and cold, piercing eyes, knelt down to help her, his long, elegant fingers deftly picking up wayward items.
As they both reached for the same fallen apple, their fingers brushed. (Y/n)'s cheeks flushed at the unexpected contact, her heart fluttering in her chest. She looked up at him, her eyes wide and apologetic. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there."
Sukuna's gaze lingered on (y/n)'s face, drinking in the sight of her flushed cheeks and wide, innocent eyes. He felt a strange sensation in his chest, as if something inside him had awakened and was demanding attention. He gently took the apple from her hand, his fingers brushing against hers once more.
"No, no, it was my fault," Sukuna said, his voice smooth and low, like distant thunder. He handed her the apple, his eyes never leaving hers. She took it, her hand shaking slightly. "Thank you." she murmured, her voice barely a whisper.
As Sukuna stood up, he felt a sudden, overwhelming urge to keep her by his side. He felt possessive, territorial, and his mind raced with thoughts of her. He couldn't stop staring at her, drinking in the sight of her delicate features, her soft skin, her innocent eyes. He couldn't explain it, but he felt a sudden, intense connection to this innocent girl. Her pure, untainted beauty was like a siren's call to him, drawing him in and refusing to let him go.
His heart pounded in his chest like a drum, drowning out the cacophony of the city around him. He wanted to reach out, to touch her again, to mark her as his. The primal urge to claim her was overpowering, unlike anything he'd ever experienced.
His heart pounded in his chest as he watched her walk away, her figure small and delicate amidst the sea of strangers. He felt a strong urge to follow her, to ensure her safety, to know every little detail about her.
Sukuna trailed behind (y/n), his eyes never leaving her as she navigated the crowded streets. He followed her all the way to her apartment, noting the address and committing it to memory. As she unlocked the door and stepped inside, he lingered across the street, watching the lights flicker on in her window.
Sukuna's heart raced like a teenager's, his breaths coming in short, shallow gasps. His hands trembled as he ran them through his hair, his mind racing with unanswered questions. Who was this girl? What was it about her that had him so entranced?
A surge of emotions crashed over him. Confusion, curiosity, possessiveness, and a strong, undeniable desire to know more about her. He felt a connection to her that he couldn't explain, like an invisible thread binding their souls.
Was he obsessed? Is it possible in such a short amount of time? Yes...
From that day on, Sukuna's life was no longer his own. His mind was consumed by (Y/n), his every waking moment filled with an insatiable hunger to know everything about her. He found himself questioning his own sanity as he became increasingly obsessed with uncovering every detail of her daily life. Days turned into weeks. He barely slept, his mind constantly wandered to her, imagining her daily life, her habbits, her smile, the sweet scent of her hair. He felt like he was going mad, driven to insanity by his obsession.
He would wake up in the middle of the night, his mind racing with images of her, wondering what she was doing at that very moment. Was she sleeping? Reading? Thinking of someone else?
Someone else...
The mere thought of another man's eyes on her, or their thoughts drifting to her, filled Sukuna with a sickening jealousy. His stomach churned and his fists clenched at his sides. He couldn't bear the idea of sharing her, even just in someone's imagination.
He became obsessive, finding himself outside her apartment building at odd hours, just to see if she was home. He'd watch as other men passed her on the street, their eyes lingering on her innocent beauty. Each glance felt like a physical strike against his chest. "She's mine." He would whisper to himself, his voice low and dangerous. The thought of anyone else claiming her attention, her time, or her affection made him see red. He found himself growing increasingly irritable, snapping at his underlings and strangers alike when they would inadvertently mention a woman's beauty or charm.
Sometimes at night, unable to sleep, he'd stare at her window, imagining her sleeping form. The thought of some unknown man ever laying eyes on her bare skin made him positively murderous. He found himself inventing scenarios in his head... what he'd do if someone dared to touch her, dared to love her...
(Y/n) is his afterall...
Sukuna's obsession grew like a cancer, consuming every waking thought. He began to stalk her more brazenly, unable to keep his distance despite the installed cameras. He'd appear near her workplace, her favorite café, pretending coincidence. Each 'accidental' encounter sent electrical jolts through his body.
"Funny running into you here..." he said smoothly, approaching her table. His heart hammered in his chest at their proximity, at how the sunlight caught in her hair. "Mind if I join you? I have a few minutes before work and..." he trailed off, letting his eyes meet hers.
"Wait... weren't you..." she started, her eyes widening with recognition. "The man who... ? The apple..." she stammered slightly, putting down her coffee cup. He smiled, a slow, knowing smile. "Guilty as charged." he said, sitting down across from her.
"It's a small world, isn't it?" he murmured, eyes locked on hers. He could feel the weight of his obsession in every word, every glance. He wanted to reach across the table, to take her hand, to claim her right then and there.
"How have you been?" he asked, voice softer than usual. He already knew from his stalking she'd been well, her favorite matcha latte order hadn't changed.
Sukuna quickly softened his expression. "You know what, I should apologize." he said gently, leaning back slightly to give her space. "I realize we've only met briefly before, and here I am, invading your personal space."
He offered an apologetic smile, genuinely seeming to regret overstepping. "I hope you don't mind my rude interruption. It's just, after our brief encounter, you left quite the impression. I thought perhaps fate was trying to connect us again, silly of me, isn't it?"
She laughed, finding his self-deprecation surprisingly charming. "Not silly at all," she replied, picking up her coffee cup again. "You're so funny."
Sukuna chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You really don't think I'm following you, do you?" He teased lightly, watching her reaction closely. She shrugged, oblivious to his ulterior motives.
"No, of course not!" She exclaimed, her eyes widening innocently. "Why would you follow me? I'm not interesting enough for someone to stalk." she said sweetly, completely unaware of the predator sitting across from her.
Sukuna's heart nearly stopped at her innocent naivety. How could she possibly think she wasn't interesting? Every single detail about her captivated him. The way she held her coffee cup, how her eyes sparkled when she laughed, the faint rose color of her lips. Everything...
He felt a primal urge to protect her, to shield her from the world's harsh realities. Even from himself. He was a mafia boss in the dark underworld afterall. And she was so pure, so unspoiled by the darkness that lurked in people's hearts. He wanted to keep her that way, locked away from anything that might tarnish her innocence.
For now, he would bide his time, slowly weaving himself into her life. He'd be patient, meticulous. He'd court her like a gentleman, shower her with affection and attention. He'd make her fall in love with him, blindly, deeply. He'd learn everything about her, from her favorite flowers to her deepest fears. He'd become her rock, her confidant, her everything. And when she was irrevocably his, he'd reveal his true self... slow reveals, designed to keep her hooked, to make her too entangled to leave.
"My name is Ryomen Sukuna. May I ask your full name?" he inquired politely, his voice as smooth as velvet, tilting his head slightly. "I feel like we've had such a pleasant encounter, and I'd like to know the name of the lovely woman I had the fortune of meeting." He finished his coffee in the meantime, placing the cup down gently on the table in front of himself.
"Of course." she replied with a sweet smile. "It's (l/n) (y/n)." She held out her hand politely, as if expecting him to shake it. Sukuna's heart skipped a beat at the chance to touch of her soft hand in his.
Gently, he grasped her hand, lifting it up to his lips. He barely brushed his lips against her knuckles, a subtle, almost imperceptible kiss. But it was enough to send shivers down her spine and make his heart race. "Enchanté, (l/n) (y/n)."
(Enchanté=delighted, overjoyed - french=english)
(Y/n)'s cheeks flushed a delicate pink as Sukuna's lips barely grazed her knuckles. Her heart fluttered wildly, unprepared for the electric spark his gentlemanly gesture ignited. "Oh!" she gasped softly, a startled and pleased sound escaping her parted lips.
He released her hand gently, a charming smile playing on his lips. He could see the effect he had on her, and it only made him want to pursue her more.
He glanced at his rolex which rested neatly on his wrist, hiding the tattoo beneath, part of his façade as a wealthy businessman. "I apologize, but I need to leave now." he said regretfully, standing up. "It was a pleasure running into you again, (y/n)." His voice was warm, his smile sincere... a lie...
Her eyes widened slightly, and she gasped softly, "Oh, you have to leave so soon?" She pouted gently, but her smile remained warm and inviting. Her cheeks still held a soft blush from his kiss on her knuckles. She looked genuinely disappointed that their encounter was ending so abruptly.
Sukuna chuckled lightly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm afraid so. The life of a businessman is a busy one." he lied smoothly, his gaze never leaving hers. "But perhaps we'll bump into each other again soon."
She nodded, a wistful smile on her face as she watched Sukuna prepare to leave. "I hope so. I work on the other side of the street, so... I always drink my morning coffee here." she said softly, waving goodbye with a gentle flutter of her fingers.
"Until we meet again, (y/n)." he said softly, his voice laced with sincerity that belied his true intentions.
He'd slowly introduce her to his world, gradually reveal his true nature. By the time she realized the monster he was, she'd be so enmeshed in their love that she'd never consider leaving. He'd keep her locked in his mansion, his queen, his obsession...
The bell above the cafe door jingled melodically as Sukuna stepped out, his eyes lingering on (y/n)'s form until the door swung shut behind him. He took a deep breath, a satisfied smirk curling his lips.
Phase one complete...

"wild" Anon is perfect tbh...
Do you have any tips for writing? The last time I touched fanfiction, I was 16 or so. Soooo... Over a decade ago. I have an idea for a Viktor x Reader that I'm desperate to get out but I can't write, let alone write someone else's character 😭
-🏕️
Wild Anon, hello again!
I don’t have any universal tips because I’m a newbie, I also believe different things work for different people but I can tell you what I do, outside of succumbing to the demon that consumes my mind day and night.
I use a lot of visual aids, like miro boards, not to flood with with Pinterest pics (though they get there too) but to write down loose ideas, put them in nice little bubbles so they are easy to read back.
I make myself playlists depending on the mood I want for the fic.
I bounce ideas off people and have my friends from here proof read my stuff!
I have a fat notebook with words and phrases I like which I write down by hand, it helps me to remember them as I’m not an English native speaker. It’s very messy so I spend a lot of time searching through it, a complete opposite to my miro boards.
When I have an idea to start something I usually end up writing a scene between main characters that takes place waaay later and craft around it. It gets moved around and rewritten and sometimes doesn’t make it to the fic but serves as a foundation for the idea. For The Game it was the hand scene from chapter five, for D&M it’s their first kiss (yes I promise they will kiss, as is written). You know that meme with the horse right?
I write down dialogues by talking with myself, which is a testament to my madness, because you can catch me washing up and audibly roleplaying a scene and then going ‘hmm would he say that?’
And for writing Viktor, I honestly feel like I often write him OOC for the purpose of my own indulgence, but you guys seem to not notice/like it. So it makes me think that what matters is writing out a human being rather than a perfect version of the existing character. Other than that, I use certain phrasing, like I’d rather go with perhaps than maybe and certain than sure. But then he will go and say for fucks sake because it just fits the moment. Arcane has so many characters and so little time that most of the characterizing is done with heavy strokes and fandom fills in the rest. So we can take some liberties without causing a butterfly effect tornado. Things I always keep in mind is his disability and him being Czech and I just play around with those concepts.
And when I’m closing in on a burnout I go and read some unrelated books to give my mind a rest from my own phrasing.
And! Having said all that (sorry for such a long response lol), it's just good to remember you are doing this for fun so the final product doesn't have to be perfect.
Good luck!

Hey so like I’ve been following ur blog since my sanders sides days but like genuinely wondering, what fandoms r u in now?
oh gosh, well hi! Thanks for sticking around so long ^.^
It's kinda hard to answer what fandoms I'm *in* per say, because I don't really participate in any particular communities as heavily as I did in the sanders sides community back in the late teens and early twenties, but this is the stuff I'm into/writing right now!
I've started reading books again! I've become one of those "reads 100 books a year" people with a storygraph and a big spreadsheet and an aesthetic book journal and everything, it's really fun. If anyone wants book recs please encourage me I will dump a whole list on you.
The fan community I'm actually participating in a bit right now is the cosmere fandom (fantasy books by brandon sanderson), as I'm in a fandom discord server for that with @mug-of-beans. Currently reading Words of Radiance and losing my mind (affectionate).
I'm writing a Skyrim fanfiction that is my pride and joy, and I recently went into a fugue state and wrote a Battinson oneshot? Batfam is one of those fandoms that I exist in tertiarily (other such fandoms include dp x dc, gravity falls, and good omens), because I follow people who reblog it a lot and I'm in some discord servers that have a lot of those fans as well.
Speaking of Discord servers, I still feel at least a little part of the Sanders Sides fandom (even though I haven't actually consumed any new official content since WTIT), mostly because of my friends who still are active in the fandom, namely @tulipscomeinallsortsofcolors whose fanfiction I am almost more a fan of than the original work at this point, and I'm in a couple different servers with la and several other of my sanders sides mutuals (some are, like me, less active in tss stuff these days but we all met because of sanders sides and so sometimes when we hang out it still feels like a fanclub for it, in a good way).
I don't watch Thomas as much anymore but I still watch a lot of youtube! I started watching Smosh for the first time about...twoish years ago? Just in time to get used to the current cast and its dynamics and in jokes and then be body slammed along with everyone else with the one-two punch of "anthony is back" and "shortney Real Actually." I cycle through different gaming channels depending on my hyperfixations (i go on and off with markiplier, rtgame, jacksepticeye, dougdoug, current big one is game grumps), I like 2nd Try and Mythical and I love video essays. Hbomberguy, Supereyepatchwolf, Dan Olson, Sarah Z, Mandalore Gaming, FD Signifier, Noodle, MothersBasement, probably several I'm forgetting. Oh, and @mug-of-beans and I own Terminal Montage's Blessed Kirbo plush because we needed the Holiest Boy in our house.
I'm also in one of those moods lately where I write a lot for my whump sideblog, so if you enjoy watching OCs in pain then you can come join me on @ironwhumper359, I just started an interactive story where the readers vote on certain outcomes!
I'm a little bit all over the place at the moment, haha, but overall I'm really enjoying the things I'm reading, writing, watching, and the people I'm hanging out with! Thanks for your ask, I'm honored that you and so many others are still following this blog after all this time!

Writer interview game
Since I've been tagged twice it's time to answer the questions ^^ Thank you so much to the lovely @thefeatherwrites and @cherryblossom0805 for the tag! (I'm honoured to be one of your favourite writers) <3
Here's my answers :)
When did you start writing?
I was 13 and I was already writing long original novels (bad ones, very bad ones). I only started writing fanfictions in English in 2023 to improve my writing and meet new people :)
Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?
Detective novels! I love a good mystery and a good puzzle to solve, but I can't write it. I tried for the HL mod, and it was fun! But too much of a headache XD
Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?
No, there is not. I don't like to compare myself or be compared. I would like to develop my own style independently ^^
Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?
A comfortable chair, a desk, my Mac (Goldie) and some snacks. Sometimes a bit of music. I love writing next to the windows and checking the time as it passes.
What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?
I don't have a muse. I have a mouse >.<" It runs everywhere, making an utter mess and summoning plot bunnies. I don't recommend it. My stories come as they please...
Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?
Plants for sure, first love and teens. I love writing about first loves, the very first time when you realize you have feelings for someone else, love confessions and first kisses as well. All slow-burning of course! I've been writing for almost 20 years, no stop. What surprises me is how the same themes can be written in so many different scenarios, and I'm amazed at how unique each one turns out. I'm not bored yet ^^
What is your reason for writing?
It's an obsession I cannot control. Whenever I take a break, I get more ideas I have to write down :/ But in general, I love creating characters and putting them into situations, the feeling of unwinding a plot and seeing where it goes is the best ever. And of course I write to re-read my own work!
Is their any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?
I got a comment from someone telling me how much my writing was important to them. They read my work to find peace during stressful times. I break down crying every time I re-read it. The idea of helping someone forget their worries, even for a brief moment through my silly work, is the best compliment I could ever receive. I always try to write light and silly, fluffy stuff that lighten my mood :)
How do you want to be thought about by your readers?
That I'm the simplest and shyest person there is. Despite what I write and how I come out sometimes, I'm just someone who wants to connect and make friends. People who took the time to know me, are the most cherished ones :)
What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
They say I'm good at creating tension and disrupting it with a joke or a funny moment. I write relatable characters, mostly OCs and they feel real and grounded, their feelings and fears feel compelling and relatable. I love when people say they can feel how much effort I put into writing them.
How do you feel about your own writing?
Let's be honest here, as ESL I cannot compare to first-language writers, I suck. I'm nowhere where I want to be. I started writing in English to improve because someone had the brilliant idea to destroy my work piece by piece. I'm still recovering, but I'll get where I want to be, eventually ;) I tag @snowivyimconfusi because I'm too curious ^^ (no pressure honey!)

what's your process on writing dialogue, and do you have any tips? i feel that no matter what i do, what i write is cringey and robotic.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, you're going to be your own harshest critic. People reading fanfiction are familiar with the characters, and their imagination can fill in a lot of what you might think are weak points. Also, practice is basically the biggest factor here, no amount of advice from a hack fraud like myself will matter if you're not out there on the grind.
BUT I'm an egomaniac and love talking about myself so here is my process and advice.
I watch/listen to their scenes a million times and pay attention to intonation, physical movements, vocal quirks or way of speaking. Emet-Selch, for example, uses archaic English words and is very formal VS OPLA Buggy who is a snappy, crass boy.
I write the scene so I know what their dialogue has to convey and get a general idea of mood and tone. Sometimes I do dialogue only, sometimes I just skip dialogue and leave a note about what they need to say. The point is that I've got material to work with.
Reread the bullshit I have just spewed out onto the document and have a minor breakdown about how terrible of a writer I am.
Remind myself that I am God and everything I type is gold.
Work and rework the lines while referencing canon material, reading them out loud (which helps to check the cringe factor too), and making sure the conversation and dialogue work together to have the scene do what I need it to do. I am garbage at technical editing but almost every piece of dialogue in my stories has probably seen at least some revision to fit it to the scene and character. The most important thing for me, ultimately, is that I can imagine exactly how the character would deliver the line. I've mentioned it before and I will again that getting Buggy's "voice" right was hard for me.
As for advice, tagging dialogue is your friend. In my opinion, it is the best way to make the dialogue flow more naturally. People very rarely speak in unbroken monologues. They're gonna be gesturing and moving and pulling faces and all that sort of stuff. You'd be surprised how much of a difference adding something as simple as a 'he said' can make when it comes to the way the dialogue is read. Words aren't entirely static, there's power in creating visual space between things on the page itself.
Since you're asking me specifically I'll use an example from my own writing for what I mean. I think there's a valuable difference between-
“Hey. What’s with the attitude?” Buggy asked.
and
“Hey,” Buggy said irritably, reaching out to tug on one of your twintails to force you towards him. You yelped, grabbing his hand. “What’s with the attitude?”

Thanks for the tag @goodpointsandbadpoints !!
When did you start writing?
I started properly writing at the beginning of last year, though I did write some not so serious fanfics for my friends as a teenager lol. But I don’t count those hfhhf
Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?
I love to read horror, it’s probably 90% of books I’ve read. Though admittedly I’ve been in a reading slump recently, but I read a book over the past few days which was uhhh horror (using the term very loosely) and gay smut hdhdh, so it was a bit of a when worlds collide moment. BUT I have read a lot of horror over the years, and have lots of books that are on my list to read!! So if anyone ever wants horror book recommendations then I’m your guy
ANYWAY I have thought about writing a fic which leans more into the horror genre, but also trying new things is scary <33. Also I feel like most people who read my stuff want smut hchfh - which I’m more than happy to provide, but they are quite difficult genres to intertwine lol
Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?
I don’t think so?? Though usually when writing I kinda pretend I’m a narrator? Like the kind you get in RPGs. No specific one really, but that’s often what’s going on in my mind
Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?
Usually either my room or my living room. If it’s in my room then I will have colourful mood lighting and if it’s in my living room usually I have the lights off and candles
What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?
Music usually! In general I daydream a lot while listening to it, and often enough that includes scenes I can weave into a fic
Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?
Usually mental health and self worth I think? In most of my fics Leon is depressed and doesn’t think very highly of himself, not really expecting to be shown kindness? He’s also often quite sexually repressed
What is your reason for writing?
When I started I was struggling quite a lot with a lot of things, and writing kinda offered a distraction/escape from that? Since it’s a very time consuming hobby. And I guess it still offers that? This year so far has been pretty rough in general, but it’s still one of the things which has kept me going. Plus it has brought comfort? Earlier this year I lost someone unexpectedly, and it got me thinking about my own life and mortality. But it kinda gives me a sense of security knowing that people will still be able to enjoy something I’ve created long after I’m gone (granted the internet doesn’t self destruct). Like little bits of me are forever interwoven into my fics
How do you want to be thought about by your readers?
Tbh as long as I don’t come across as arrogant or ungrateful then I’m happy lol
What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
Smut hdhdh. Which again is maybe quite limiting as I’m scared to write something which contains no smut. But also it’s nice having a place to put my decrepit thoughts yippeee
How do you feel about your own writing?
I think it’s pretty average, like I don’t think it’s bad but I don’t think it’s flawless. It could probably use more refined plot points and better endings, and sometimes I feel like the pacing is a bit off. But I also think it’s fun, and thats usually why people read fanfiction above anything else. Nothing has to be perfect (trying to hammer that into my head anyway)
When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?
A bit of both. Obviously it crosses my mind, I think it crosses everyone’s, but if I really want to write something then I will. Like the premise of my selkie fic was 100% just written for me lol, but also had elements in it which I thought others would enjoy
Tagging literally anyone who wants to do this!! And I genuinely mean that because I’m nosey <33

Behind the scenes
the lovely @dira333 tagged me in this and its sooo fun!! the questions are so amazing and id like to give it my best with some in depth answers, since learning these facts about one of my favorite writers here was so fun !!!!! behind the scenes of writing is so good to share!!
Started writing: i think ive always been writing. i remember when we used to have one computer for the entire family in the early 00's and had little screentime, i set alarms to 4-5am (with no concept of what that Would Do To Me emotionally without sleep LMAO) JUST to get some time to write in peace. my first fanfictions i published was on a homemade forum page with a friend when i was 11!
Started blogging: ive had my tumblr since 2009-ish where ive been a rp'er over multiple times and published d gray man and no. 6 fanfictions in 2011-12ish. i was also active on livejournal before i found fanfiction.net !! but this specific blog was made in may 2021!!! the reader inserts came then :3
Followers: i actually JUST hit 300 two days ago!!! which is very exciting. i dont always look at the number, since it doesnt necessarily correlate with engangement, but its fun to see the uptick!!
Communication: i genuinely love love LOVE the social part of social media, and communications so important to me. theres nothing better than reblogs with comments you can bounce off of, asks, dm's and all that! sadly, my disability makes it so hard for me to have continuous contact and im 90% of the time the one to drop the ball when it comes to replying :(( thats why its extra important to me/special with the mutuals who keeps reaching out and dont have the same social expectations about replying. even if im unable to reply the day that i receive the message, it still brings great joy seeing the notif!
Likes: i dont mind them! generally its not that important to me whether or not my followers interact a lot. a like still means the world to me. of course a reblog is much better and engages so much more (+ boosts me!!), but theyre good for my soul, too!
Requests: i get very few requests :( i think i like them, but i havent gotten enough to actually get a feel on whether or not it kills my writing spirit? generally i get very excited to be able to deliver something and it gets me up from the bed to write, but i sometimes fear im not providing what they wanted! its anxiety-inducing in some ways, but i love a good little writing challenge !!
Writing: i loove love love love writing for hours at a time, hyperfixating on it. sadly, my cat snøfle is Very Jealous of both my laptop and pc. giving him a substitution sadly doesnt help</3 so my writing is often limited to specific times of day, and when he gets tired of my keyboard clack-clack-clacking, its time to put on some one piece while he naps on me! i wish i could write more works or just scenes on my phone, but it hurts my hands So Much, so i only write small one shots when im heavily inspired but snøfles in A Mood!!
genre wise im a fluffy type. maybe some hurt/comfort but always leaning towards comfort. id like to write more disability fics to spread both awareness and visibility, but i sometimes struggle with putting in my own disabilities and not make them too personal or too detailed for others to not relate. its an overthinking problem, so i often procrastinate writing them., bcos i fear itll be too niche! but i always get positive feedback (excpet for that one time with inked coffee lmao) so im not sure whats holding me back!!!
i always listen to music when i write, and it differs a lot. when i wrote the star and the earth i listened to a lot of medieval-inspired music, and made a specific playlist for that. but when i write on my modern au's or canon compliant bnha/haikyuu, anything goes!
i love putting in 'boring' every day stuff into my fics, or small scenes that dont necessarily advance the plot but just gives a feel of the characters.
speaking of snøfle ^ i am no longer allowed to write for the evening.... so ill start some apothecary diaries and enjoy a cold soda on this hot and humid evening !!! mwuah mwuah if u read this far thank you, and i love you. i love all of you <3333
no pressure tags as always but would love to hear the answers and get to know u all! @cup-of-fluff @true-deru @mirandabarma @illuminiscentboba @tetsuskei @threadbaresweater @krystalgaia @petriquors @ktsumu @moonbeamwritings @ohtokki
#tag games#waaah genuinely this made me so excited. i love talking about writing. can never shut up#wanna hear yalls thoughts and answers too but always remember theres no pressure if these are too personal 1!! its okay to skip any if you#want!!! <3333 smooching u¨

Hello, I really enjoy your writing and you seem confident in writing smut. Do you have any tips on how to go about it? I find is so awkward!
Hey thank you 😊 I am just a guy with a laptop but I can try my best to tell you some stuff that helps me.
First of all! My number one tip that everyone should follow IS that you really don't have to write smut if you don't want to. Probably obvious, but there's very few fics that actually require detailed smut and if it makes you uncomfy it may not be worth it. BUT I'm sure you know that already and are here for some actual advice so here we go.
Gonna get a tiny bit nsfw but not graphically. All this is advice only, nothing is ever a hard and fast rule, especially in writing. Take what you like and chuck out the rest. Other writers feel free to add on 💖
What's the point of the smut?
Personally I think smut is always better if it is conveying something about the characters or the story. If the point of it is just to be pwp that is absolutely fine ofc but if it's within a larger story what are you trying to convey? Desire for each other that's finally bubbled over? Connection and trust? Playfulness and fun?
Whatever the angle, try and keep that motivation in your mind. If the sex is about connection, focus on the internal feelings, lots of affectionate words between them, a lot of eye contact etc. If it's about that "I must have you now" passion, maybe it's quicker, choppier, more desperate and less talking.
Smut doesn't have to be hot to be good and valid in the story. Maybe it's sometimes deliberately bad sex. Maybe sometimes it's soft and sweet rather than steamy. Don't get too stressed trying to make it titillating (if I may use that word).
Character first
Following on from that. Think about your characters, especially in the context of the AU you've put them in if that's the case. Who would instigate? Who would take charge? If someone is very playful and jokey out of the bedroom, they'll probably take that energy into it. If they're serious and passionate, likewise.
I'm sure as a writer you've often thought that the characters sometimes just do their own thing without your input because you're in their head so much. Let that energy guide you through sex scenes as well. (I very accidentally set myself up for wall sex in one of my fics once because the characters would not shut up about it.)
Write about what you like
Especially for your first few attempts, write about stuff you enjoy. Whether that be in real life, fantasy or you just have an academic interest in. I've been called out multiple times for liking subby Blaine 😂 And yes! I do! I find it fun to write so that's why I write it.
Think about what specifically you enjoy about your scenario and express that on page. This should in turn lead to an enjoyable reading experience! If you're not sure what you like, read some smut and think about what parts of it appeal to you. Avoid writing kinks that squick you out.
It's about the fantasy
I wouldn't get too bogged down in mechanics. Especially of anal sex. Fanfiction is sort of fantasy and doesn't need to be incredibly realistic to be fun. By all means make sure you're conveying a sense of how your characters are positioned and how they are interacting but don't get into the weeds of minutiae if you don't need to. It's not a how-to guide and being too mechanical can remove the spice.
Invoke the five senses
General writing advice is to get all senses involved but it's just as important for smut. A few examples.
Sight: how their partner looks, their body, especially if it's your POV character's first time seeing them naked AND how that makes them feel. Lighting is a good visual way of setting the mood. Soft, romantic lighting for their first time? Candles for romance. Just in broad daylight in the middle of the kitchen for spontaneity.
Sound: Gasping, sighing, moaning, their partners voice. Are they talking? Laughing? Why? Are things going wrong or are they just giddy and excited? Is there people nearby that they can hear that adds to the thrill? Do they play music?
Smell: smells on the other person they've never noticed because they've never been that close before. I tend to avoid talking about unpleasant smells because it kind of takes you out of the moment. But washing powder, cologne, shampoo, all that stuff is golden.
Taste: I'm sure you can use your imagination on this one! The taste of their partners mouths when kissing, the taste of salt on their skin, the taste of them intimately
Touch: This one is so key! Are touches deliberate or incidental? Gentle or rough? What emotion does a certain touch invoke? Capturing sensation and mood can be more effective than pure description sometimes. And the touch doesn't just have to come from each other. What about the feel of the sheets? Toys? Are they having sex on a surface that is hard or rough?
Write scared
Posting smut is intimidating and a lil scary, especially the first time but probably several times after that as well. As the well known saying goes: Feel the fear and do it anyway. We all start somewhere and we are all constantly improving. If you are very brave you can ask for con crit but otherwise it's just a skill to hone like any other. I believe in you!

I was looking into writing fanfics do you got any advice for that?
👀👀 hi there!! sure!!
The number one tip I have for getting into writing just in general, not even fanfiction, is to read. A LOT. And I don't mean only reading fanfictions. Reading published novels is really important to picking up general writing elements like pacing, story beats, characterization and character development, and how to set a mood if there's something in particular you like writing.
I just so happen to love writing angst and suspense, so I read a lot of detective noirs and horror books to learn how to pick up on conveying tension and inner turmoil, doubt, etc. etc. It also exposes you to a wider vocabulary, helps with describing senses, how to write good dialogue, all of that fun stuff.
Getting the words down in the first place is the hardest part. Editing can always come later. Some of my rough drafts for fics are ROUGH. And I mean ROUGH. Like, I have stupid placeholders all over the place, but I leave them when I'm feeling stumped and just need to move on to the next scene because I've spent too long trying to come up with something. You can always come back to a certain part later. Just get words down. Even if you think it sounds bad or makes no sense. I've sometimes written endings before I even wrote the beginning to a fic. I've written fun parts first as preparation for writing something boring or angsty.
With that out of the way, a big roadblock to writing can be motivation/inspiration. There are so many days where I come home from work wanting to write but I'm just dead to the world and don't feel like it. But sometimes the motivation to write won't always come to you. It can take days, weeks, months for that motivation to hit, so you can't always rely on it. Sometimes if you want to write, you just have to sit down and push yourself. For me, at least, getting those first few words/sentences down is always the hardest, then when I get in the groove, I can knock out like 5k words in a few hours.
But if you're REALLY not in the mood, like if you can tell you're stressed or really have things on your mind, it's best to not push it. Pushing it is more so if you're in the mindset of 'ehhh I WANNA write but I don't reaaaally feel like it' and not when you're genuinely in a bad mood or something. When I really don't want to write, I just chill out and don't push it because that can make things worse. Always take care of yourself!! It's a hobby meant to be fun!!
For inspiration or "getting in the mood" I like to listen to certain songs or playlists that fit a particular mood or fit something that I'm currently working on. I also like to scroll for hours looking at fanart, and many times has that given me the inspiration to either come up with an idea or to get back to what I was doing. Then I like reading and coming up with my own headcanons! I think that's the most fun part of fanfic, tbh. I have headcanons for my fanfics and they'll vary from one story to another depending on the setting and the characters.
Like, one story I have Dazai set in a universe where he loves sweets. Peaches, in particular. In another, he likes bitter things and drinks his coffee black. Just those tiny things.
And sometimes inspiration has hit me when I've just gotten up to get some air or gone to do dishes, or something. It's WILD when and where the muse can strike. I've had things come to me while I was showering, and sometimes while driving. So if you're struggling to get anything down on paper, sometimes walking away for a bit is the best you can do and come back later.
I also like to have my phone on me at all times with the Note app because I've had snippets come to mind that I thought would be really cool to include in my long fics or for a new oneshot, so having something you can conveniently jot your ideas down before you forget them also helps!! Any little bit counts in the long term, whether it's one word or whatever.
But yeah, fanfiction is plenty of fun, and at times it can be taxing. There may be times you have to write a boring scene for the sake of plot advancement, and other times where you just wanna throw your hands up and scream because you've been staring at a blank page for hours. But it's important to remember about having fun in the end, and taking breaks as needed for yourself. 😊 Writing fanfic has been a really rewarding experience to me, and it's been eye-opening reading stuff back from when I first started writing to now and seeing how I've improved!
#asks#why does tumblr make it so easy to almost accidentally delete a message sobs#hope this helps friend!!!#fanfiction

Your Jade piece is fun, I got a lot of laughs while reading it. I have a question: How did you practice writing and description? I enjoy your writing style immensely, and I want to improve my own.
I have a couple of things that I do.
Hmm okay so there's this mental rule that I have whenever I'm writing. Basically if I want to describe the emotion of a character, I don't use the exact word that describes that emotion. Let me give an example.
So, say there's a character that you know is feeling happy because they're going to the carnival. You don't say, "She's jumped around happily," you say, "There's a spring to her step, as though she's about to jump on the nearest counter as she bobbed up and down." You kinda have to walk around the exact emotion via figuring out what actions they use to express themselves when they're feeling a certain way.. This rule is specifically for if you want to linger just the slightest bit longer on a character's state of emotion. If it's an action scene or you're trying to quickly get from plot point A to plot point B, then you can go on ahead with doing that.
Whenever I'm writing, I also sort of imagine myself as this 'ghost' in the scene, right behind the shoulders of my audience. My ghost self is floating in the air, knowing what's going to unfold but you don't, so I tell it to you all the while just, chilling there. I have no worries because I know how it's going to all end.
Whenever there's an opportunity for people to read out loud, often I'm the one that everyone else chooses because they love the sound of my voice. Because of that, I end up noticing a certain "flow" to paragraphs. Some books are clumsier than others in their word flow and others are silky smooth. It's not something I can give a definitive set of rules to, it's something you have to learn on your own. So, when you can, read my stuff out loud to yourself, then read your own stuff out loud.
Another thing that I do that helps me with writing is to find a book or fanfiction that has that writing style I like. I have a small collection at the ready but I'm not going to share it because, uh, yeah they're dark. I don't pick the fic or book apart actually, I just read through it, take in the mood it gives me and just, write my stuff out.
There's this exercise I used to do before I got bored of it was basically slowly focusing in on an object. You describe the outside, then you focus in on a neighborhood, then you focus on a house, then a section of the house, then a room and finally an object. A slow zooming in, you're walking or floating there. You can also do the opposite of slowly focusing out. I find that it has helped me with figuring out how to set the speed in a story. I don't like being too quick, because I don't like my stuff to feel too fleeting.
Oh and have a document or notepad at the ready dedicated for just, blabber stuff. When there's too much noise in my head and I really want to write, I end up typing down my barest, baaaaarest attempt at a story. It's entirely missing in context, little description, and just not good stuff. But it's stuff I have to scrape out of my head. And they have no pattern. Sometimes it's 2nd POV stuff, and then it hard cuts to mutterings like "alright, there stuff in my head and there's noise and ho boy is everything too clouded for me. Could go for a sweet drink but I don't want to get up or do anything honestly but if I don't write I'll never will and there's no way I'm losing my passion for writing again." So, rambles. Yeah have a note or something dedicated to rambles before you start writing, especially if you're the kind that gets this "head noise" like I do. Just, the static fuzzes right up in the brain. And even if you still can't come up with anything after all that, then you're good, because you wrote something. In a stream of consciousness kind of way. Which is also another writing style.
But, yeah that's about all the things I did while through the years. Unfortunately, there's no quick or easy fix for this, it's just writing even if it feels like work. And if writing starts to feel like genuine torture, as in you end up in a spot of self-loathing every time you write but find that you can't, you probably have to put the pen down, or put that rage against an empty page. If you can't write about anything, may as well write about yourself that you'll probably not show to anyone. Get into the nitty-gritty, get into the nasty bits about it. The story may be missing in your head, but your existence isn't void of one. You're kinda living it now, may as well place a bit of it on a page.

Writer interview Game 🔥
Thank you for tagging me @gingerlegacy07 and @galaxiasgreen ❤️
When did you start writing?
I started writing in my mid-twenties, it was some sort of Game of Thrones fanfiction. Then I wrote some stuff about my LARP-characters, and Skyrim MCs, but never published anything. My urge to write came back with Hogwarts Legacy and my MC Eliza. I hesitated some time, but then decided to publish it. Since then, I am addicted to writing, and my characters, and I even think about writing original stories and make a career out of it.
Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?
I read fantasy, history novels and romances, and I think what I write is a mixture of it. I plan on writing history novels though, since I don’t see myself coming up with entire worlds (I would compare myself always to the big masters J.R.R. Tolkien and George R.R. Martin). I am a history geek, thanks to my dad.
Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?
Like I said, George R.R. Martin is one of the big masters to me. If I can write stories like he does one day, I’ll be the happiest writer in the world. I recently found Penelope Douglas, and I love how she writes tension between characters, so I’d love to write like she does one day.
Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?
I have a study where I spend most of my writing time. It was formerly my sewing space and still can be used as such, but I have everything there, including the kitchen and the coffee machine next door. Sometimes I take my laptop and move to the living room aswell.
What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?
Next to (classical) music: Move my ass. Do some chores, go for a walk, visit my horse, stuff like that. Or taking a nap xD
Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?
I love feral, feisty female main characters. I love to make them sassy and annoying and reckless and smart mouthed. That is probably the most recurring theme. I also have a soft spot for Gryffindors dating Slytherins, just love the combination. And anything history related.
I want to write a Enemies-to-lovers story soon since that is my favourite trope.
What is your reason for writing?
To get the story out of my head. To give the characters I love so much the opportunity to evolve and thrive. And to feel. I love it when I feel with my characters, even if it’s sadness or anger. I wrote a chapter about Sebastian that got me into a dark place for several days just because I felt his pain so much.
Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?
I find every comment motivating, but I love theory comments! That gives me the impression that my readers are really into the story and think about it.
How do you want to be thought about by your readers?
Phew, that’s a tough question. I want to be seen as someone who gives everything to entertain them and give them a good story but stays true to myself aswell. I also love it when I submit to server events and people are hyped during the reading to hear my stuff.
What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
I think my dialogues are one of my greatest strengths. I love writing gialogue, giving every character his own voice and letting them interact with each other.
How do you feel about your own writing?
It sucks! Haha, just joking. I think it’s good. There are some icks in the beginning, some stuff I would like to change or improve, but overall, I think I am a good writer.
Thank you for reading my answers! I tag @sallowskeeper @svmbino
and everyone who is in the mood ❤️

Behold my stuff and things
Rhaella made me do it.
I write and I fixate on things.
Currently bouncing wildly like a pinball back and forth between The Arcana and Dragon Age.
This started off as an Arcana blog, to share my fanfiction and scroll through fanart of my favourite fictional people, but has since grown into a place for me to collect stuff I like. An interweb scrapbook, if you will. A little castle in a sandbox where I vibe with my favourite things. I'm old, tired and socially inept, but you can sit with me if you like :) She/her, if it matters.
Inbox is open if you wanna say hi or ask stuff.
I'm very adult and I do post stuff that isn't suitable for under 18s, if that's you then please don't follow me.
I exist on AO3 as LunaStarhawk and on reddit as u/lunastarhawk.
Tags, links and whatnot...
Writings:
(please assume all my writing is Explicitly NSFW unless stated otherwise)
The Arcana Fanfic - is what it says on the tin. Encompasses all my works, including reader insert and Julian x MC.
Tides of Memories - specific to my ongoing longlonglongfic.
Tides Moodboard - references, inspo and general vibes relating to ToM.
Julian x Altheia - all things specific to Julian and my oc.
I'm screaming but I'm having fun <- that's a writing tag. It do be like that sometimes.
OC Tags
The Arcana - Altheia Featherstone
I have a separate blog for my Julian-romancing Arcana OC, Altheia, which is a themed blog based on stuff she likes, outside of the Arcana. She, er. She likes boats. And the sea. But I post Arcana-related bits here under her tags Altheia Featherstone, Altheia aesthetic and Altheia moodboard.
Her own blog in her own right is at @altheia-featherstone (Rhaella made me do it)
Dragon Age: Inquisition - Favian Trevelyan
I don't write DA fics (yet?) (oops I guess I do now) but I am obsessed with do have a handsome Dorian-romancing Inquisitor, Favian. I do nothing but stick screenshots of him and my Inquisition playthrough to my scrapbook here on tumblr dot com. Peak self-indulgence. His tags are Inquisitor Favian, and Dragon Age Shenanigans.
A separate blog exists for him but I haven't decided yet how I'll use it @inquisitor-favian (Rhaella made me do it)
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Flint de Riva - My most beloved and canon Rook. Elf, warrior, Crow, eternally cheerful sarcastic little shit. He's the golden retriever to Lucanis' black cat.
Kal Mercar - Shadow Dragon, rogue, Neve's bit of rough.
Rhaella - belongs to @rhaella-rhavelli but I love her and will squirrel her away into my pocket any chance I get.
AO3 Links (LunaStarhawk)
The Arcana
Julian x Altheia (Female OC)
Tides of Memories - current WiP. A continuation of Julian's route's upright ending and my prologue story, with my OC, Altheia.
Between the Deep Blue Sea and the Devil - Self-indulgent rewrites of a selection of scenes from Julian's route, specific to him and Altheia, as referenced in ToM. Ongoing as and when the mood takes me.
Past the Midnight Sun - Self-indulgent smut and fluff between Julian and Altheia. I love them, you see. Ongoing as and when the mood takes me.
Gender Neutral Reader Insert
The Memories We Lost - A sort of prologue to the Arcana, this is my take on Julian and MC's time during the Red Plague. Complete.
'He Was Mine' - Reimagined Reminiscences - My first fic series, a collection of mostly smutty rewrites of some of Julian's route scenes. Complete.
Domestic Daydreams - Julian and spouse do Mundane Things. Very unlikely I will add to this.
Female Reader Insert
Post-Route Shenanigans - smut with Julian and his girlfriend.
Violet - that one time I wrote Asra smut.
Male Reader Insert
Post-Route Henanigans - like shenanigans but with a He. I think I'm funny. Smut with Julian and his boyfriend.
Dragon Age
Dorian x Favian (Inquisitor)
Set during Inquisition
Nothing Else Matters - When Dorian is badly injured defending him, Favian rushes to save his life and realises just how important they are to each other.
Set during Veilguard
Promise - Dorian and Favian have a heart to heart before the final battle. An extension of the one and only line between them in Veilguard.
Simpler Times - Dorian and Favian sip wine and watch the sunset in their own little corner of the Fade.
A fallen tree - Dorian and Favian spend time in a Fade memory of a place that holds meaning for them. (18+)
Fixations
Other things I reblog a lot for my scrapbook:
Final Fantasy VII (Sephiroth and Vincent mainly)
Loki
Stardew Valley
I think that's everything, enjoy your stay :)

fic writer ask game
i am very late on this but i was tagged by @mmmichyyy and @iansw0rld !
🖤 rules: answer the questions then tag five fic writers ✍️
1. how did you get into writing fanfiction?
i was super into marvel movies in my teens and i read way too much clintasha and stevebucky fic on tumblr/ao3 until one day i finally cracked and decided to try writing my own. i wrote fic for a few years when i was a teenager, then went to college and fell out of fandom life because real life was super hectic and getting a degree in mechanical engineering is hard, and then when i was maybe 22? 23? i started writing fic again because i realized how much i missed fandom and community and writing in general. i orphaned all my old fic on ao3 when i came back, but i kinda wished i had at least written the titles down somewhere because i’d love to go back and see how much my writing style has grown since then.
2. how many fandoms have you written in?
10, according to ao3. add in a couple more from my youth, and sprinkle in a handful of unfinished things in my docs from fandoms i had a passing interest in and never actually published anything for, and the real answer is probably more like 15.
3. how many years have you been writing fanfiction?
a decade, give or take
4. do you read or write more fanfiction?
honestly depends on the day. i get in moods where i just want to write and i don’t want to read anything, and then it flips eventually and all i want to do is consume fics
5. what is one way you've improved as a writer?
i think my dialogue has improved so much since i started. it’s definitely one of my strengths right now, but it wasn’t always.
6. what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
honestly i don’t know, my writing is very mundane. royal hierarchies maybe? and that’s not even weird. i just know i had to read a lot of shit about that for a wip i’ve since semi-abandoned.
7. what's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?
any comment at all is my favorite comment, but if i have to get specific: when people copy/paste their favorite lines into a comment and tell me they liked them, yeah that shit hits
8. what's the most fringe trope/topic you write about?
again, i write very boring stuff. i think the most fringe thing i write is crossovers to be totally honest. i love a well done crossover fic between multiple fandoms. i’m still very proud of my tww/newsroom crossover, and my tww/stranger things crossover is near and dear to my heart. right now i’ve been brainstorming a shameless/stranger things/911 crossover with @karenandthababes for the last like, six months. will i ever write it? who knows.
9. what is the hardest type of story for you to write?
smut.
10. what is the easiest type?
fluff or domestic fluff. give me the softness. give me them happy and enjoying life. i can crank out 5k of that in no time.
11. where do you do your writing? what platform? when?
in bed on my laptop, Word, and mostly at night, but sometimes during my lunch breaks
12. what is something you've been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?
the rock star mickey au that lives in my brain rent free is probably top of my list, followed by the high school au that also lives in my brain rent free. both are ambitious projects, and i’ve been talking about them for months without actually writing anything down yet.
13. what made you choose your username?
i will refer you back to question one where i said i was very into marvel movies and stevebucky in my teens. i adore sebastian stan, always have always will, hence sam-loves-seb. yes i made this handle at 15, no i will not change it.
tagging: @jessbakescakes @mybrainismelted @gallawitchxx @suchagallabitch @thefinestmuffinswrites and anyone else who wants to play !

🪐 ⇢ name three good things going on in your life right now
My dad has retired which means I can spend more time with him. Since I live and work near him & my mom, I can meet up with him for lunch sometimes on weekdays.
I've gotten back into reading new mangas lately now that there's a Barnes and Noble just down the street from me. Before that the closest book store was a resell shop that, though nice, doesn't have the greatest manga selection. With mangas and comic books I tend to prefer physical books over ebooks, so it's been really nice to be able to browse a large selection again without having to drive fifteen to twenty minutes.
I've been reorganizing my kitchen which probably sounds boring, but I've gotten some new dishware and glassware that's brighter and more colorful than my old stuff and so the open shelves actually look really fun now. Since I started indoor renovations last year, I've really been enjoying how having things brighter and more colorful help lift my mood, so I've been trying to extend that where I can.
🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
Hmmm, well... I've researched various sentencing standards for various crimes and how those crimes are classed. But that's not really weird. Nor was looking up how living wills work and power of attorney and what-not. Though it was interesting to learn that in the US if you give someone the right to make medical decisions for you when you can't, they cannot also be your doctor. So if you need a surgery and a surgeon in that field holds the right to make your medical decisions then they cannot also be the one who performs the surgery
Makes sense, but was also an interesting/relevant find for fic writing in the Flash with regards to Caitlin.
But weird... weird... I'm pretty sure looking up poisons is par for the course for a fic writer too. Average apartment rent...
I think I tend to look up more mundane stuff and make up the weird, really...
🌿 ⇢ give some advice on writer's block and low creativity
So it might help to step back and see if there are any patterns in when you're feeling blocked and/or low in creative feelings. For me, in the Fall I start to feel kinda burned out. It's definitely a seasonal thing for me that brings it on and, unfortunately, sometimes trying to just push through makes it worse. The more stressful my year, the harder that Fall burnout hits me.
Knowing what the pattern is can help you break that pattern, or learn to recognize and react in more helpful ways to minimize how it makes you feel.
For me, I think looking into aides for dealing with seasonal affective disorder may help. Having alternative hobbies that I can turn to also helps to calm me down when I'm upset or even just annoyed about something. I can pick up a video game to take my frustration out in the game battles or grab a paint-by-numbers or scratch art page and concentrate on creating something pretty to look at. It helps hit that creative scratch I need without frustrating me over how my own imagination is kinda at a low point for making fanworks.
But also there's learning to accept that sometimes burnout just happens. It's not my fault and being upset with myself doesn't fix the issue. Being able to step back and say 'okay, I need to focus on something else for now and let my creativity recover' isn't easy, but it's an important part of letting my brain heal from whatever is causing the block.

Hey! Can I ask a few questions? Imma ask my every fav author these.
1. How long have you been Writing?
2. Are you planning to make a profession out of this or just doing it for fun?
3. Who or which character do you prefer to write more for?
4. What do you do when you're out of ideas?
5. Lastly, Will plz give an advice for the young writers out that.
oooohhh I love these!!! 💓 you can always ask questions, hit me with it 😏
1. I've been writing for ten years I think? a lil more maybe? gee
2. right now, I'm just doing it for fun, but I would love to publish my own things someday! I do write stuff of my own additional to fanfiction, so who knows!
3. urghhh I don't knowww 🙈 I love so many characters, and I love writing for every single one of them for different reasons? and it always changes and - I really couldn't tell you.
4. oohhh that's a good one. if it's just a lil funk while working on something, I try to re-inspire myself. I look at fanart, search pinterest and make mood boards, I listen to or create new, specific playlists - if that doesn't work and I'm truly stuck, I found that taking a step back, either working on something else or just leaving it completely helps the most. especially when I'm stuck plot wise and don't know how to proceed, sometimes letting it sit for a few days rlly helps, and then suddenly I got an epiphany. as for general ideas - I usually always have something? 🙈 either an idea bc of what I'm currently reading or watching or I see a prompt, I usually always have a list sitting on my phone that constantly grows.
5. I love this. okay. one: don't get discouraged. everyone starts somewhere, and no one has ever started something and immediately was absolutely, utterly perfect at it. I'm nowhere near perfect, and when I look at how I started, I definitely cringe very hard. and that's okay!! you can get only get better by maybe being not as good in the beginning. it might be shoddy, but that's fine!! just keep writing. two: there is no one, right way to do it. don't listen too hard to what someone might tell you about how to or how to not write something. if it feels right to you, that's how you find your own style and way of writing. three: even though I know it's really hard - try not to compare your writing to other people's writing. everyone has a different unique style, and once you find yours and it looks different to someone else's that you rlly like, that doesn't mean that yours is any less good!
so: don't get discouraged. and if you really want to write - write. doesn't matter where and how you start, if you suck at it in the beginning, if it maybe doesn't do as good as something or someone else's - there are still gonna be people that immensely enjoy it, including yourself! write what you want to see, and just start.
