I will only say this:

Miles knows he can cry to Bruce to get revenge for Miguel's unnecessary scolding.

And what better way to get back at Miguel than by preventing Miguel from enjoying his alone time with Bruce?

Miles retaliates by crying, saying he's having nightmares and wants to sleep that night with Bruce and Miguel, since that way "the closet monster" can't get him.

Bruce? Buys it and allows Miles to sleep as long as he needs to cuddle with him. Miguel? Learns not to nag so much if he wants to not die by blue balls.

Here's the most enticing detail about Spiderbat; They're petty bitches. Very petty. You can't tell me Bruce wouldn't hand Miles the promised 100 dollars for messing with Miguel's day, a slow, feline smirk on his face.

So I just read a meta post about movie Miguel vs comic Miguel and, yeah, I really think the movie did him dirty. They just pulled a MOM Scarlet Witch on him but worse bc at least we get to see the build up for Wanda's decision, but Miguel? We don't have any background for him to justify his actions

And I have the same complain for both: so you're a childless parent but you have a child/children with inconsistent parental figures right in front of you?? Like??

I really think it should've been Miguel the one who mentored Gwen, then we could've had seen more of his parental side AND it would've made things way more dramatic during the confrontation with Miles

I'd like to have faith in the directors and writers that they did it this way to get somewhere in the next movie, bc Miguel seems to be important but we don't know anything about him?? And if they don't, it seems like they really ate more than what they could chew on. I can see why people say ITSV was superior lol

“So uhh… what do you have there?” Miles asked, looking between Mj, Peter, their kid, and a feral Miguel who was on all fours hissing at him.

“A kid.” Peter proudly proclaimed, holding up his kid like she was the next Simba.

Miles hums noncommittally.

He wasn’t sure if he should’ve been impressed, baffled, in awe, or not even surprised that Peter somehow managed to tame Miguel. “And him?” He asked, waving to the feral man.

“This is Peter’s boyfriend.” Mj answers.

He slowly blinks, lets out a quiet "huh", then methodically nods like he understood a single thing Mj had said, before looking back at Peter. “You’re uhh… you’re dating him now.”

“Yes.” The older man answers.

“He’s attempted to maim me on several occasions.”

Peter nods. “Yup.”

“He’s an asshole.”

“Well, more of an abrasive douche who’s oblivious to social cues, but he’s not so bad once you get to know him.”

Miles looks down at Miguel again, seeing that he’s still hissing at him. “He’s hissing at me.”

“He don’t bite.”

Miguel begins to growl.

“You sure man?”

“Yeah!”

Miguel then snarls before lunging towards Miles, biting down on his thigh—expectantly. Mj sighs and digs in her handbag as the teen screeches and attempts to kick his face away. "Yes he do!"

Mj then pulls out a water bottle and sprays Miguel with it, earning a quick hiss, before he crawls back behind Peter.

It was only then that Miles realised Pavitr was still here, who was looking between him and the throuple with wide eyes as he a muttered a quiet “What the fuck?” beneath his breath.

Miguel can be Mayday's second dad, she deserves it.
